The Unified Reality of the Lower Plane and the Nature of the Subconscious Mind

There’s always a Divine Paradox playing out in the most basic sense as what appears to be a single reality that’s actually three-fold in nature as multiple planes that act together to create the perception of a single, unified reality. This is because what we refer to as the “higher plane” and it’s parallel “lower plane” exist in polarity to each other through what we could call a “reflection” of each other as a reverse image or as an “inner reality” that forms the basis for the perception of itself as an “outer reality” where the inherently “passive aspects” become the “active components” of its outer reflection. And while we like to think that the upper plane exists in a harmonious state of unity and singularity, while the lower plane is dual in nature and exists in a primarily “separated state” of individual components all operating independent of each other, one having nothing to do with the other, the fact is that what we call a “unified state” actually exists as having “dual” masculine and feminine components as the electromagnetic forces that serve to structure and animate the entire material plane in an harmonious and unified manner.

We take this basic misconception a step further and say that “we are all one” down here in the material plane, while imagining that when we return to a true unified state of shedding the material body and existing purely in our spiritual state, that we “blend back into the whole“, shedding our identity as an individual. Yet exactly the opposite is true. We are able to manifest (be born) into the material plane by taking on a physical body of the animal kingdom. This body is solely governed within the material plane by the subconscious mind which in the lower plane is the feminine and passive aspect of the mind, that is actually the active component that has full creative capacity but no “personal will” to think for itself in terms of original thoughts or to “create itself” in an individual manner apart from its species and kind. The subconscious mind is what we also refer to as the “instinctual mind” as the morphogenetic field (astral) of the material world that generates reality based on sensory, emotional impulses that serve to produce automatic behaviors.

The language of the subconscious is symbolic and metaphorical as ideas formed in the imagination as pictures and the reality of an idea. These “reality oriented thoughts” are memory and archetypes of some form that simply act to impregnate the subconscious with a possibility for producing as an experience that gives it an automatic program that it plays out as a means of creating without resistance. Emotion as a state of mind is always directly connected to memory as the reality and type of experience produced by that emotion that multiplies and increases it through the expression of it, which serves to give us more of the same emotion. Emotion is the electrical current that stimulates and sets into motion an entire unconscious process as a perception of reality that produces automatic behaviors. Emotions serve as a “colored lens” we look through that determine what aspect of reality as containing an infinite number of possibilities we act to “tune into”, bring into an active state by resonating with it, and cooperatively participate in providing the vehicle and the means for it to express in the outer world as a reality that affords us an experience of a particular nature as an automated process. Whenever we’re triggered by a strong emotion, it instantly renders us unconscious and we begin running an automatic program.

This is self-evident and very easy to realize by simply observing our own minds activity, and realizing that emotions are always associated to memories as the “state we were in” when we created the memory as a story-line of some sort, that also acts to keep that memory playing out in our life in a repetitive manner by simply maintaining the emotional state associated with it. We are conditioned (trained in an automatic fashion) to dynamics as emotional states that produce distinct types of realities that have correlating behaviors inherent in them. Emotions form “chemistry in our body” that act in much the same way any psychoactive drug acts, and not only alters our state of mind forming hallucinations of various sorts, but are also addictive. We become addicted to certain emotional states, and we not only live out of those states in a habitual fashion, but we act to create the experiences that will give us more of the same type of emotions. This acts to provide ourselves with a “fix”, because we’re capable of producing the drug internally through the proper external stimulus.

By allowing emotions being transmitted through projections of others and as active states in the atmosphere around us to enter into our body, take hold and rise up in our imagination as the reality of the emotion, that’s then used in place of the neutral, objective reality as an illusion that simultaneously produces automatic behaviors, we become instinctual animals that are governed by the same forces that operate within the natural world of the plant and animal kingdom. In this sense, we are absolutely directly connected to and a part of the “same mind” as being “one with” everybody and everything else. When we live primarily out of this aspect of our mind, we become like an animal and prone to the “herd mentality” of simply creating out of our formative conditioning as a trained mindset that lacks the ability to ‘think for itself” and therefore shape itself as an individual apart from the herd through active use of choice and free will. This conscious, willful aspect of the mind is the active mind of the higher plane that’s always self-creating in an intentional and deliberate way, cultivating it’s individuality by not being subject to emotional states and the illusions they create, and thereby not acting as a blind and passive receptor for the thoughts of others. Anytime we utilize the higher capacities of our mind to self-create in a unique fashion, we shape ourselves as individuals that are strikingly different from the crowd and are not influence and changed by the group mentality of the “collective unconscious”.

When we actively cultivate ourselves by first recognizing and fully embracing our divine nature and higher capacities of the mind to create within the material world in a deliberate way, then actively utilize those capacities in the everyday sense of staying fully conscious and present within the events of life making constant choices as to what to take on and allow to express through us, and what to keep out so it doesn’t contaminate us, we become the master of the lower plane. The conscious, willful and aware mind is the aspect of the mind that guides, directs, and seeds the passive, subconscious mind with the ideas it wants to create as an experience of reality through which it then actively creates itself by identifying with those creations. Whatever reality we act as a channel for expressing and creating as “our reality”, serve to shape us through how we associate with it through the experience it gives us. As we have experiences, whether passively or actively produced, we are sense ourselves within those experiences, and identify with them. We become the product of our experiences, all of which, naturally, are self-created either from a primarily unconscious state that feels as though our experiences simply happen to us without our control, and therefore not being created by us, or as intentionally produced by how we choose to use our own mind and imagination to create the type of experiences we want to use as the means to shape ourselves by way of them.

A great deal of confusion can result from the inability to distinguish the difference between neutral events within the outer world that seemingly take place without our will or control, that we refer to as ‘objective in nature”, and how we “experience those events” as an inner process that reforms them in our imagination giving them meaning while telling ourselves a story about them. All events of the material world, though produced by the subconscious mind as a group mentality, exist as neutral and unbiased to the conscious mind of the higher nature that doesn’t get its identity from the material plane, but rather uses the elements of the material world as the means for creating its own experiences. When we live out of our unconscious mind as our conditioning, we’re always using the memories of the past as the means for interpreting the events of the present to mean the same thing. Whatever emotion is being expressed in the event in terms of it stimulating us with that same emotion, determines what memories we access and call forth that were created out of events of the same emotional nature, and use as the means of producing the same “type of experiences” as an “interpretation” of the current events. In this way, the lower mind of instinct driven by emotion and memory govern and render the higher capacities of our mind passive and use our will to create in our life in an impulsive and unconscious manner.

While we tend to think that life itself is basically dual in nature, because only dual aspects are active on the lower plane, the fact is life as reality is three-fold in nature, and produced by three parallel dimensions that together form the same plane as multidimensional in nature. Likewise, the mind and soul are also three-fold in nature, and all act in unison to create the illusion of a unified material reality. Just as we classify that there are “4 Elements” that make up the material world, there are actually only 2 primary and actual Elements, the masculine (Fire) and Feminine (water), who blend together as a combination to produce the other 2 (air and earth) as their offspring. Likewise, while there is always an active and passive component of the same thing on each plane that together operate as complementary opposites to stimulate each other, the planes themselves also exist in polarity to each other where one is active and expansive and the other passive and receptive. While we have a subconscious mind as the dominate mind of the lower plane that acts to “birth” and give rise to the self-conscious mind of the “personal will” that identifies and operates fully within that plane, we also have an active component of the higher plane as our Higher Self (Mind) and Will, that exists in a polar state to our lower self.

When the conscious mind of the lower plane is active, it tends to override and prevent the conception and transmission of the Higher Will. The only way we can draw down and act as a receptor for Higher Consciousness is by quieting and returning the “conscious, thinking mind” to a passive and subdued state, so that the Higher Mind can act to impregnate the subconscious mind, which acts as a natural receptor for the masculine counterpart, with a seeded idea that it’ll turn into a reality. The subconscious mind reflects and casts the image of the conceived idea in the imagination, allowing the conscious mind to witness it as a mental impression and realize that it has come from a higher source because it’s original in nature, and therefore align itself with it and act in a cooperative manner to co-create it as an experience of reality. Reality in this case being a product of both aspects of the mind acting in a harmonious and unified fashion to produce a joint reality. The Higher Will seeds the lower mind of the subconscious with an idea that it then produces both as an internal reality that’s witnessed by the self-conscious mind of the personal will, and together they act to produce the external reality of the same nature as an experience of it, that’s then used by the soul as the means of shaping itself by way of that experience.

The paradox becomes obvious when we realize that the entire lower plane exists in a unified state within the higher plane, which is what serves to organize, orchestrate, and sustain it through its passive component, which is the active and dominate component of the lower plane. The entire lower plane is unified through the same passive mind and DNA, which is a component of the subconscious mind that’s also passive and receptive in nature and seeded as suggestion by the active and willful mind of the higher plane. The lower plane itself also has active and passive components, both of which interact with each other to produce a unified reality. The Higher Consciousness of the upper plane, which exists in a unified state of containing dual aspects in a harmonious state of equilibrium (represented by the element of air or atmosphere), separates as it descends into the lower planes of materialism, producing a masculine (fire) and feminine (water) aspect of the same thing necessary in order to perceive itself as another, and to bear witness to its own creation.

The Higher Self, which contains both the active and passive components, just as the material mind it produces does, divides Itself as the means of creating an inner and outer, self and other, essence and object, all of which are the same idea being played out on different levels and scales while partially submerged in an animal body governed by the subconscious mind that produces and maintains the entire material plane through a passive state that’s operated in an automatic fashion by instinct. Within the material plane of the subconscious mind, we are prone to becoming “like everyone else” and accepting the general mindset of mass consciousness through a form of “herd mentality” where the same impulses cause us to behave as if “one unit”. On the higher plane of what we think of as a unified state of true oneness, where the conscious and willful aspect is dominate, we imagine that we lack “individuality” and exist as a part of the same consciousness and have no will of our own. Yet the fact is, the only thing that transcends the lower realms and is drawn up and into the higher realms is the part of us that’s individual in nature and created by our own hand through active use of choice and free will. All aspects of ourselves developed to be “animal like”, stay within the lower planes of which they are a part.

When we live our life out of a predominately passive state of mind, driven by our emotions and programmed in an automatic fashion by the thoughts of others that we blindly accept as our own, acting impulsively through various forms of emotional, knee-jerk reactions where we’re completely controlled by the elemental forces of the lower regions, we develop ourselves through a lower, instinctual form of consciousness, and after death of the body, remain in the lower regions of the animal kingdom. When we employ our ability to consciously create by thinking for ourselves, making decisions based on our original and individual thoughts, and willfully act out those choices to form our reality, and we sculpt ourselves as self-made individuals that are unique in nature, where no two are alike outside of the fact that we all share an animal body with basic needs. At death of the body, the energies that it’s comprised of disintegrate and migrate back into their natural habitats. All energies return to the sphere from which it originates and resides as a natural state. The only part of us that transcends to the higher spheres is the parts that were self-created in an intentional manner and formed our individuality. Only our individuality exists in full and remains intact on the planes of higher consciousness.

When we create the larger part of ourselves to be “unique and original”, created while in a fully conscious state through personal will, we transcend to higher planes where will is the governing and active factor. The most fundamental paradox that we all live out of is the fact that we are all responsible for our own creation, and who we become is based on either lending our will to others, or utilizing the higher capacities of our mind to direct and create ourselves. We are always either being controlled by material means of some form, or the one doing the controlling. We’re always either consciously utilizing forces to self-create, or we’re being utilized by them. We’re either being determined by others and society, or we’re determining ourselves by separating from them and identifying fully with our divine nature and our ability to self-create by way of directing the natural forces that govern the lower, material realm of emotion, memory, and instinct. All that’s created to be of an animal nature stays within that realm and isn’t capable of transcending to the higher realms that require full use of higher capacities of the mind. All who are self-created to be of a divine nature transcend naturally to that domain at the death of their animal body.

The Law of the Monad – The Brain, Membrane, and Will as the Spoken Word that Manifests a Corresponding Reality

The Monad is represented in a geometric form as a sphere or circle with a dot in the center, symbolic of the inner expanding and extending to become the spatial sphere of the outer. The information of the core, germ, or brain expands equally in all directions and fills every aspect of the space within the sphere (atmosphere) with the same information (hologram). This is the model of the conscious, active mind, seeding and programming the fertile subconscious mind of the material plane. Words that are spoken inwardly as thought act as a seed that’s conceived by the imagination of the subconscious mind, where it’s shaped into the form indicated by the “meaning” of the word. The meaning of the word is developed into a sensory form with emotional attributes and qualities, giving it distinct characteristics,  and it becomes a “etheric shell” (phantom-like holographic image) for drawing in the dark flame (invisible) of life-force energy, giving rise to an electromagnetic field, which acts as both a magnetic, contracting field, and an electric, expanding field. With words we engrave signs into the astral light that forms them into a hologram as the vibratory frequency of the form. As we cast an image into the contained sphere of the mind, it becomes the perceptual lens that we look through seeing that same idea in the reality around us, and connecting to and interacting with it.

The Monad also represents the Law of fields nested within fields. A core or germ as a central field that spontaneously births or gives rise to a greater field of the same nature, forming a kind of hierarchy, where the outer, greater field contains the entire smaller field within it, while being dependent on it as the foundation for its existence. All laws emerge out of a primary law as a synchronized process of growth and development. The brain (organized information) forms the membrane as the outer body, and the membrane becomes the brain for the next membrane. All dimensions exist as membranes that are nested within and spontaneously produced as an outgrowth by the series of membranes that preceded it. All reality comes as layers upon layers all produced as a spontaneous growth process where all are supported by the one that precedes it and acts as the foundation for the next one to naturally rise out of as an outgrowth or extension.

Our will is an active force that engraves signs as living images into the heavenly sphere that surrounds us (mind), as a dark flame (invisible field) that begins forming a fog-like essence of astral (star) light into an empty form that will serve as a vessel or vehicle for consciousness to embody, give life to, and express through “as” the nature of the form. Words as an idea spoken inwardly as thought (internal dialogue), impregnates (seeds) the imagination of the subconscious, which is the material forming mind, where it gestates and is steadily grown and developed into a well-defined form that resembles a ghost-like, neutral image of grey tones, that’s then imbued with sensory attributes that give it properties as radiant colors that act to “draw in” and give rise to an electromagnetic field, which further forms and stabilizes the image while magnetizing it with emotions. Once an idea possesses an electromagnetic field and is cast into the ether surrounding the body, it extends out becoming an inherent part of the outer environment (membrane), while becoming an inherent part of our “perceptual lens” as a filter that we look through, and we “see it” all around us and naturally gravitate towards it in our immediate environment.

As it blends into and becomes a part of the membrane of our mind as a perceptual field, it then acts as the basis to form and extend itself even further, seeding and becoming a part of our immediate environment as a regional membrane (greater mind), and so on, until it becomes an inherent part of our everyday, extended reality. The mind creates reality as a rippling effect by propagating waves through the ether that reorganize it through resonance by what’s “turned on”, stimulated and brought forth into active expression, and what’s “turned off”, and recedes and disappears (All physical form is created by the same laws that operate DNA). We don’t necessarily act to create or actually manifest the physical world around us (although we can), which exists in an objective and neutral state devoid of meaning and containing all possibilities for any version of reality, but rather to influence, rearrange, and manipulate it into new forms as a primary means of self-expression and creation that’s outwardly expressed as actions.

In the purely spiritual and mental state of cause, thought is an active force and serves as the basis for all material creation, which has no will of its own. Likewise, the subconscious mind of the material plane has no will of its own and is passive and receptive in nature, and produces all behavior in an automatic fashion as instinctual impulses that are motivated by emotions. On the material plane emotions are equivalent to thought on the higher mental plane, and act to produce creative activity without a thought process of any kind and void of intention and purpose (in the personal sense). Thought as an idea only creates on the material plane by merging into the astral plane of feeling sensation and emotions, which is what acts to organize the life-essence into the form of the thought, giving it sensory attributes that invoke feelings as internal sensations that call forth the equivalent and complementary emotion as a chemical reaction that alters the state of the body to be of the same nature as the emotional idea.

A “sign” (idea, symbol, metaphor) willfully cast into the ether of the lower mind through desire and intention, forms a etheric body as a holographic shell that acts as a passive receptor for an electromagnetic field that stabilizes the image into a seemingly solid form where it serves to attract the active life force and consciousness,  which acts as the brain or mind that rises up out of it, surrounding it with an extended field, forming the reality as the congruent outer environment necessary for it to exist as an outer atmosphere or membrane, that becomes the basis for producing a series of membranes (dimensions) as an inherent part of the (pre)existing reality. The higher mind, drawn up from within, casts an image into the electromagnetic field of the lower mind of the body, where it’s conceived by the womb of the imagination, and becomes the basis for producing an equivalent corresponding life-form as an inherent part of the outer reality from which we “experience it”. Through the experience of it we “acquire it” as memory, which acts to shape us by way of its integration.

What rises up within us as a mental impression that forms our state or mood as the experience of it that we create internally by thinking about it, becomes our vibratory frequency. The union of thought and feeling in the imagination form experience as an emotional state that regulates the vibratory state of the body, which forms the outer reality as a state-in-form. What we think, feel, imagine, and project, we perceive as a natural part of our outer world. Whatever mood or mental state we’re in based on the thoughts and emotions we’re living through, serves to attract and stimulate that same mood or state in everyone and everything else (resonance), calling it forth into active expression. We then perceive them through the same state and as possessing the same qualities of that state, then interact with them creating the “experience” of that state made manifest (outside of us), and absorb it back into ourselves as memory.

Whatever state we vibrate at, based on our thoughts, feelings, and emotions (which always go together) that we entertain and become a vessel for expressing in the world, we use, whether unintentionally through a lack of awareness or a seeming inability to control our thoughts which run repetitively in an habitual and haphazard manner, much like a default mode, or whether intentionally by deliberately choosing and embedding our thoughts as internal dialogue in an intentional and purposeful manner to consciously create ourselves through the experiences and memory they produce. Our thoughts as words spoken internally, act in the same manner as the original creation (all of life was called forth by the spoken word), call forth the reality of the thoughts as our perception and experience of them in the outer world. First by “informing” our body as the equivalent of our thoughts as their garment or outer image, then as our immediate environment and relationships, which all express and are corresponding analogies of the same idea played out on a larger scale through a variety of dynamics, all of which maintain the same meaning and provide us with the same type of experience that we use to carefully fashion ourselves by way of the memories they afford us.

Self-Mastery: Mastering the Ability to Control and Direct your Thoughts and Attention

While knowledge as theory gives us the basis for practice, we only truly “learn” (live and earn) by bringing the knowledge into practice somehow in our daily life. We only truly know what we attain through direct experience and can willfully demonstrate as a part of our normal abilities and behavior. Conceptualizing something in a purely theoretical form while frequently contemplating or discussing it will have a tendency to explore and penetrate the deeper levels of an idea, but until we “become one with an idea” and experience it in a direct way by being it, we never actually acquire or own it. Knowledge that’s contemplated or studied but never applied is merely a form of entertainment or mental hobby.  Whenever we study something, we’re always using other people’s ideas and perhaps imagining them in our own way, but we only really know if something is true or produces what it claims to through the direct experience of it.

We have to always maintain a sense of equilibrium between the body, soul, and spirit by utilizing them simultaneously through an actual practice. One-sided training is not only unproductive, but it can cause an imbalance that can be destructive and produce undesirable effects. This is obvious in our modern day society’s tendency to try and educate without first teaching the ability to control compulsive, random thinking and the ability to concentrate without interruption from unwanted thoughts for an extended period of time. The only knowledge we truly maintain at the eternal level of the soul, which is our “nature” that forms our character, is what we build into our muscle by turning it into a habit that becomes a part of our natural behavior, way of perceiving, and daily lifestyle.

Applying knowledge not only requires the knowledge itself as a theory of some kind that gives you the means to start, but it also requires you to develop “qualities” that are necessary in applying it. Theory is the intellectual aspect, practice is the intuitive aspect as a process, and art is the manifestation as a result. While we think in materialistic terms that we’re acquiring the skill implied by the knowledge, from the soul perspective, which is always about “being”, it’s the qualities we have to employ and develop in order to apply it that’s the actual knowledge in energetic and intuitive terms as a form of soul conditioning. In all spiritual practices the most basic conditions for development are intention, diligence, patience, perseverance, concentration, and devotion. It’s comes as a love and desire for the knowledge by becoming one with it in spirit, mind (soul), and body. It requires diligence and a deep sense of utter devotion. While you can be kind, forgiving, and lenient towards others, you must develop an attitude of being studious, unrelenting, and pitiless on yourself. You have to exercise a stringent form of self-discipline in everything you do. Set high standards and expectations, and then push yourself to not only achieve them, but master them.

Only what’s practiced in a consistent and diligent manner becomes a habit. When something becomes a habit it arises in us naturally. It becomes a part of our natural tendencies in any given situation and forms our natural perception and behaviors. By building practices into our daily lifestyle as a part of our normal routine, we faithfully employ them and develop ourselves by way of them. Once we have become accustomed to a particular exercise, the urge for it comes naturally. It’s only when we begin doing something as a natural part of our being that we have actually “acquired it” as part of our souls memory which forms our inner nature. We have to always be disciplined and diligent in all our efforts in order to progress and thereby ascend.

The very first step in any form of spiritual development is controlling, disciplining, and mastering your thoughts. The mind has a tendency to wander constantly and operate out of autopilot most of the time. Our thoughts come so natural and automatic that even when we are disciplining ourselves, we’re often in the midst of a thought process before we even realize what we’re doing, and are able to bring ourselves back into a focused state. This is perfectly natural, and in the beginning, when first employing your will to direct and redirect your thoughts, it’ll be a constant process. However, like anything, the more you’re able to stay focused and continually realize and direct your thoughts, the easier and more natural it becomes. This is why patience and perseverance are required. So don’t let yourself become discouraged in the beginning when it can seem somewhat difficult.

In order to cultivate abilities, we need to start off with simple practices that  we perform two or three times a day for five to fifteen minutes at a time. It’s recommended to do these in a balanced way in the morning upon rising, midday when relaxing, and in the evening. Start off with small time frames of 5 minutes, then as you master them, gradually increase the amount of time you spend doing them to 10 minutes. Increase the frequency you do each in whatever way is appropriate according to your daily activities. Always start with small steps and only after you have mastered each step, work your way up. Each process must be mastered before moving on to the next, because the next step requires full use of the previous step which lays the foundation for it. We have to be able to use certain abilities in order to perform other abilities that are an extension or outgrowth of it.

Equilibrium of spirit (still), soul (will), and body (automatic) are always important to maintain and practice together because they ideally operate in a cohesive manner. The problem most have with controlling and directing their thoughts is that the lower mind of the body that produces a continuous stream of automatic and redundant thoughts has been allowed to run unchecked, while the willful mind of the soul has been greatly underused or ignored completely, and the still, empty mind of the spirit is something many feel they can’t actually achieve. This is due to developing in an unbalanced way with sole emphasis on the lower mind. For this reason, development that’s undertaken intentionally must always be conducted in a balanced way, exercising all 3 levels of the mind and body. So for this exercise, which is in 3 parts, we’ll work on developing the ability to observe or simply witness your own thoughts and bring them under control, discipline and direct your thoughts through concentration, and the ability to master your thoughts by stilling and emptying your mind of verbal thoughts altogether and entering into the experience of pure being.

Preparation for each step:  All exercises should be done in a private and quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed for 5 to 15 minutes, while in a fully relaxed position.  Don’t do them when feeling tired, as you must remain fully awake and aware throughout the process. Awareness is key. It may be a good idea to splash your face and upper body with cold water before you begin. Do not fall asleep during these exercises or they won’t be beneficial.

  • Sit or lay down with your body fully supported.
  • Close your eyes to block out distraction, and focus on the rhythm of your breathing. Let your mind enter into the rhythm.
  • Relax your entire body by setting the intention to relax, then mentally directing it to relax, and then feeling it relax.

Step 1) Thought Control

       This step allows you to begin gaining an awareness of thoughts that normally operate in a completely automatic and unconscious fashion. This is the habitual and compulsive aspect of the subconscious mind controlling the conscious and willful mind. Whatever we focus on and think about we become, and we act to create more of in our present situation. When thoughts are allowed to run in an unchecked manner, we lend our will to them and we create in our life in an unconscious manner. On the spiritual plane “thought is action”, and thoughts are how we create in the most fundamental sense on the material plane. So the first step to any form of conscious development is gaining control over our thoughts through self-awareness and being able to intentionally guide and determine our thoughts in a willful manner.

  • Allow a natural train of thought to form and spontaneously begin free-flowing. Make no attempt to control these thoughts, simply observe them to become aware of what they are.
  • Notice that most pertain to whatever is happening in your life at the moment, issues that have a strong emotional content, family or relationship issues, job related issues, whatever is weighing on your mind, and simply redundant meaningless thoughts that are purely habitual and automatic in nature.
  • When thoughts arise that tend to “pull you into them” where you begin dwelling in them, simply stop, pull your attention away, and allow them to continue in a free-flowing stream of thought while silently observing them from a detached perspective of not being “in them as a part of them”, but rather remaining free and independent of them, observing them from a distance watching them as they flow by, or as they rise and fall.
  • Don’t try to control your train of thought or lose sight of yourself by getting side-tracked and dwelling in any one thought, but simply observe them in as attentive way as possible gaining an awareness of them.
  • Be conscious of everything, and don’t try to hurry the exercise. Let it flow naturally while giving it your full attention.
  • You’ll notice that in the beginning you’re bombarded with thoughts in an almost chaotic manner as they quickly pass by. Pay close attention to them and try to remember them.
  • As you become aware of what normally operates as an unconscious and automatic process, you’ll also gain a natural form of control over it. Awareness itself brings a sense of control as the natural use of your will.
  • You’ll notice from one exercise to the next that these thoughts appear less chaotic and will gradually begin diminishing until only a few thoughts emerge in your consciousness as if coming from afar.

Practice this first step until you gain the ability to easily control your thoughts by becoming aware of them. Mastering this first step is critical to the development of all other steps. In all forms of self-development nothing is more important than gaining control over your thoughts and being able to direct them in a willful and intentional manner. Only move on to the next step when you have completed this step sufficiently and have mastered it.

2) Thought Discipline and Developing Concentration

       This step deals with being able to concentrate our thoughts without letting other thoughts obtrude. What usually prevents us from concentrating solely on one idea for an extended period of time is that other thoughts having to do with our daily chores and annoyances spontaneously arise and distract us away from what we were thinking about. We must learn how to avoid thoughts that do not belong in our personal life while only entertaining those that do, and in doing so, we’ll become a different person altogether. In this exercise we will develop our ability to be present in our daily life in a fully attentive manner, and be able to concentrate our mind solely on one idea for an extended period of time without interruption from unwanted and meaningless thoughts.

  • Pick an idea, subject, or concept and direct all of your attention into that thought alone. As you concentrate on it and other thoughts obtrusively arise, redirecting your attention in an automatic fashion, become aware of them, and then simply remove you attention from them and place it back on your chosen subject. Resist all distractions repeatedly until they begin subsiding and you no longer have a problem staying focused for extended periods of time by maintaining full control of your attention.
  • Move this same idea out into your daily life and apply it in a broader sense. Whatever it is that you’re doing, be fully present in it with your full attention on it, and anytime a distraction arises as a thought that doesn’t pertain to the moment, become aware of it, and redirect your attention back into your present situation.
  • Remain present in your daily situations and only allow thoughts that pertain to the moment or situation occupy your mind. Anytime thoughts of the past or another situation arise and steal your attention, realize it, and redirect your attention back into the moment.
  • When you’re at work, block out thoughts of your personal life and focus all of your attention on work. When you leave work and go home to your private life, leave all thoughts of work behind, and think only about what pertains to your private life. As thoughts of work arise while in your private life, become aware of them, and consciously redirect your attention back into your present situation.
  • The more you practice the ability to control your attention, the easier and more natural it becomes.

This practice when mastered will have a huge impact on all areas of your life, and will greatly improve your ability to enter into a truly creative mode. The only time we can actually create in our life in an intentional and meaningful manner is in the “present moment”. Do not move on to the next step until this one has been mastered. Each step is required in order to be able to achieve the next.

3)  Mastery of Thoughts and Residing in Eternal Peace

This step teaches you how to create a complete vacancy of mind that’s void of thought and fully present in your inner sense of pure being. By subduing all active thought you enter into a fully relaxed state of inner peace and calmness. All stress subsides and you’re able to experience everything in a direct and actual manner rather than through the commentary of your thoughts. When all thought subsides we enter into a form of rapport with the present and we experience everything as it is in this moment without filtering it through the past and reshaping it to be like us through how we think about it. In this way, we form an entirely different relationship with life and become an entirely different person as a result.

  • Create a complete vacancy of mind while resisting all thoughts that try to command your attention. Empty your mind completely, and enter into a state of presence and pure being.
  • Rigorously reject any thought that competes for attention, and return to a complete mental vacancy. Do this repeatedly until thoughts begin completely subsiding and you exist in a state of pure beingness for an extended period of time.
  • Bring this same practice into the ordinary moments of your daily life by becoming fully present in whatever you’re doing, empty your mind of mental commentary and habitual thinking, and simply perceive things as they are in that moment. Form an expanded awareness of everything around you without letting thoughts about it enter your mind.

When you are able to stay in this state for a full 10 minutes, the purpose of this exercise has been achieved. This is important because it lays the foundation necessary for continued development.

Once you have mastered these three basic mind exercises and learned how to control and direct your attention and thoughts, you’ll be ready to move on to other steps in self-mastery that require self-control and your ability to use your will in an intentional and deliberate manner. By learning how to perceive things without a mental commentary or by bringing past ideas into the present and using them to create your experience of the present, you’ll be able to naturally correct perceptual errors that have become automatic and perceive things in a new light as they actually are a part from you and your preconceived judgments about them.

Archetypes, Morphic Fields, and Memory – The Holographic- Etheric Blueprint for Creating Reality

Memory exists not only as a personal creation we form as the result of what we can call “real life experiences”, but exists as the very basis for knowledge itself as ideas that can be used to create realities. There’s a two-way flow between a reality becoming a memory, and a memory becoming a reality. We often form a memory from an event in our life that has a strong emotional impact, that we then use over and over throughout our life as a form of perceptual filter and template for creating more of the same ‘type’ of realities. The memory itself isn’t formed as an exact recollection of the factual details of what happened, but rather as the story we told ourselves about what happened and why, and what it meant about us and the world in general as a result. We make up stories about the events of our life as a means of trying to process and make sense of them, and the story we form as the meaning and significance of the event becomes a kind of life theme that the memory itself merely serves to represent. Once a memory is formed from an intense emotional experience, and is turned into a kind of template of meaning as a perceptual filter, and we begin referencing it on a regular basis as the means of providing us with an instant interpretation for all current events of a similar nature, it becomes an habitual perception as a life theme that we use to form our routine experiences of life. In a like manner, what we call ‘Universal knowledge” exists also as a form of memory in the Akashic or Unified field of infinite potential as universal archetypes or principles. Archetypes are a form of memory as ideas that are holistic in nature as a hologram that provides the perceptual lens and template for creating realities out of that provide us with certain types of life experiences. An archetype serves as a generic prototype that we absorb into our mental field and reform into a personalized version by how we adapt and integrate it into our mental paradigm as applied to our life conditions and circumstances. When ideas “come to us” out of nowhere, they rise up in our mind and play out in much the same way as a normal memory is recollected. They come to us as a form of living concept or scenario that’s a potential pattern for using as a theme to produce a similar form or reality out of. Archetypes as universal memory exist in the causal field as generic prototypes for utilizing at the personal level to create experiences that produce personal memory of the same kind. An archetype is an “idea” in its whole unified form that contains an overall pattern as a story complete with attributes and qualities in varying degrees that form characteristics that produce a form of personality with distinct behaviors. In beings bestowed with the capacity of higher conscious, an identity emerges out of the personality, that “creates” by telling a certain type of story as the expression of its character or inner nature within specific conditions, situations, and life circumstances. A personal memory that’s produced by either an actual life experience or by applying an archetypal memory to produce a life experience, that’s then used in a habitual manner as a theme for creating more experiences of the same nature, creates a ‘thought-form’. Thought-forms are produced by the modified adaptations of a universal theme as a personal and unique version, that’s imagined, concentrated  on with intensity, and embodied through action that forms just like a universal archetype. Thoughts as ideas that are imagined as full sensory experiences with strong emotions (made real), produce an electromagnetic field that forms into a holographic form or reality that serves to populates the astral plane of the collective unconscious as a memory that can be accessed, absorbed, and utilized by others through morphic resonance. Those of a similar nature (vibratory frequency) are able to accommodate the same type of thoughts while mistaking them for their own. Anyone who is “tuned” to the same frequency can access, receive, and utilize the thought-form in the same way they utilize a universal archetype or they perceive it as their own self-generated thoughts. All similar things influence each other through morphic resonance. Memory is not stored in the brain or body as many believe, but is stored in the soul as the morphic electromagnetic field that surrounds, permeates, and is boded to the body that’s also directly connected to the greater mind-field of the astral plane of mass consciousness. Only those of the same species, kind, type, nature, and character as a cluster of accumulated memories are “tuned to the same frequency” and act as a “receiver” through resonance and sympathetic induction, which acquires the memory as a thought-form that it believes is its own or is self-produced. Thoughts come to us and play out in our mind in much the same way as our own memories do. It’s an imaginary process that gives us a new pattern as an idea for acting out in our life in a congruent manner to create more memories of the same kind. The spirit, soul, and body are simultaneously unformed, evolutionary, and stabilized patterns. The spiritual plane, which is causal in nature, is unformed and exists as pure consciousness, raw information, archetypal ideas, and patterns in their free- flowing potential state. This is the unified field (Akasha) of pure information as archetypes and universal memory that are available for self-creating at the physical level of the soul and body. They can only create (become formed as something specific) in the material world through a physical channel, individual mind and will (life-force). The soul acts as a ‘medium’ between the spiritual and the physical, and is both of the spirit and form whose constitution is comprised of accumulated memory that forms a unique variation as a multidimensional being with a three-fold nature. The soul walks between worlds, vibrating at the frequency of its integrated memory, where it draws on the archetypes of the spiritual realm, and acts as a channel and transducer for interpreting it through adaptation to its personal model, modifying it and creating a unique variation by how it builds it into its astral-etheric constitution to produce new forms of thought and behavior that modifies and evolves its character to higher and more expanded levels of understanding. The entire physical world is created by a (the) soul. The soul in-forms and structures physical reality as a combination of archetypal themes that are correlated, coordinated, and congruent in nature. The soul provides the astral-etheric holographic blueprint that acts to fashion its own body, while tuning into and resonating with that same reality in the outer world. The body is grown, organized, and spatially structured through the etheric interface of the soul. Its energetic memory as a series of dynamic interlaced patterns produces a morphogenetic electromagnetic field as a holographic, ghost-like image (invisible light) that provides the vibratory structure as a torsion field (life-force) that orchestrates the cellular regeneration, specialization, and spatial orientation in sync with the genetic code inherited from the parents, which is of the same memory-frequency of the soul utilizing it. They’re compatible in other words. The body as a cellular organism is given life, structured and produced, animated, and “held together” by the soul. Physical matter has no life or structure of its own without a soul. The soul is the morphic field of accumulated and integrated memory as a vibratory frequency that produces the “self-organizing mechanism” and tension-field for producing the body as its physical equivalent or twin. Matter is the passive and inactive (feminine) aspect of consciousness and only obtains the active and formative aspect (masculine) of consciousness by absorbing it and acting as a host for it, which is what serves to shape and animate it with natural behaviors. The subconscious mind of the body and DNA is passive and receptive in nature and is programmed with new ideas as patterns of formation and behavior by the higher, active mind of the soul. The soul exists in polar relationship with both the higher realm and the lower, and is receptive to the higher and active in the lower. The ideas that are “received” from the higher and transmitted to the lower, and then acted on repeatedly forms a memory that becomes habit. Once an idea is brought into practice consistently, and is “built into the muscle”, so to speak, it becomes natural and automatic. It becomes a permanent part of our nature as our soul’s essence. Humans are bestowed with higher capacities of the mind and have the ability to self-create by producing its own memory in an intentional and deliberate manner. The animal kingdom and the entire natural world operates strictly from memory as instinct, where all members of the same species and kind, behave in much the same way, and changes occur only on rare occasion where a new behavior is developed, that then makes that behavior available to all others of the same species, through what we call the collective unconscious, which is synonymous with the astral plane of the Earth, which is the “soul” of the Earth. Humans have the ability to produce thought-forms that serve to populate the astral plane with new memory that acts in much the same manner as universal archetypes do. These thought-forms are transmitted fluently throughout the astral plane where they can be picked up on and received or absorbed by anyone who is of the same kind and “tuned to” the same type of memory. Likewise, whatever thoughts as memories we dwell in and constantly recollect and relive in our imagination, we tune ourselves to, resonate with, and act as a receiver for more of the same type of thoughts. Because the tuning, receiving, and transmitting of thought-forms are all of the same nature, we don’t realize we’re being “given them” and usually mistake them as our own, much like we do universal archetypes that usually come through moments of inspiration, insight into something, or a “ah-ha” moment as a sudden realization. When we live out of our unconscious, lower, non-creative nature, we fail in the most basic sense to evolve through the incorporation of new and diverse thought, and can live our entire life out of our past. We have a natural tendency to use past memories to create present experiences in a habitual fashion. This is because there’s no memories we resonate with more than our own memories of the past, so we tend to consistently think, feel, behave, and perceive more of the same type of experiences. We only see our past in everything else. This is a feature of our lower, animal, subconscious mind which operates in a purely automatic and habitual fashion to bring the memories of the past into the present, using them to perceive, interpret, and produce more of the same type of behavior and experiences. We simply repeat the same themes, story-lines, and behavioral dynamics over and over, without realizing that through choice and free will, we can choose to intentionally break old habits and create new ones by embodying new qualities and ways of thinking and being. By providing ourselves with new knowledge and information that we first imagine as a reality and practical application that we then act on repeatedly, we create new types of experience that produce new types of memory, which when made into a habit, change our vibratory constitution and evolve us at the soul level according to those memories. By applying knowledge to form new memories, we not only see the world differently, but we use those memories to create our experiences in the present, and continue to produce more of the same type of experiences, accumulating to the point where they modify our existing model. However we intentionally act to shape our mental paradigm becomes our soul’s constitution which is eternal, and carried forward as natural tendencies, temperament, and disposition. It literally changes our personality and identity, which is how we self-create by way of our own self-expression and the corresponding creation of our outer world. As we change internally, our outer world changes as a direct correspondence. We tune into a different reality, act to consistently perceive that reality, and receive, process, and transmit more of that same type of reality. To change others and the world around us, we have to change ourselves and our inner world which is what’s producing it through morphic resonance. When we change our “mind” we change how everything in the outer world appears. We are tuned to a new frequency, organize the outer world to that frequency by what stands out and is enhanced and embellished, and what doesn’t. We begin noticing and perceiving different things. We look at the same thing in a new light and see something different as a result. We act to attract new things and begin interacting with the outer world in a whole new way. Old relationships and situations die and fade away, and new ones are birthed and come to life. We act on ourselves to grow and evolve ourselves to new types of form and reality. Summary:       A memory as an archetype (prototype) is a frequency that’s comprised of different types of information as patterns (dynamic form) that have a self-organizing mechanism as life-force energy. Information itself is unformed and passive until it’s energized (charged) by life-force and organized into a living biological (fully functioning) form that’s self-sustaining and self-perpetuating. Whatever form we take on as archetypal forces becomes the memory of our soul, substance, and behavior, and tunes us to the vibration of that memory, where we connect and resonate with more of the same memory in everything else, while acting as a receiver and channel for it. The archetypal forces that make up our soul’s nature, represented by the zodiac in various degrees and angles, form our mind as our paradigm and perceptual lens that structures the entire outer world to be of the same nature and memory as we are. The soul not only fabricates the body as its physical equivalent (temple and vehicle), but also forms the outer reality as a larger, more diverse and complex version of the same idea that sets the stage for acting it out. We only see in others and everything else, what’s in us as memory. Our soul’s memory forms our personality and all of our natural inclinations, propensities, and behaviors, which spontaneously births our identity, based on what we naturally associate with and relate to. We attract (and are attracted to), engage in, and act to facilitate more of the same type of relationships and experiences that are inherent in our memories. Energetically we’re an antenna that’s tuned into a frequency as accumulated memory that acts to receive, adapt and modify, and produce more experiences of the same kind as a life theme. Our life theme is expressed by the story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about things that give them meaning. We naturally act to produce a congruent and consistent version of reality as a story-line that plays out as dynamic interactive theme. Vibration produces a morphic field as an electromagnetic field (spiraling motion that both pulls together and pushes apart, forming a stable pattern) as a holographic 3-D virtual image that organizes and concentrates essence (light) into a biological form that functions in a way that’s natural to that form. Vibration creates this same basic structure on multiple levels simultaneously as an image, scenario, and greater reality that “in-forms matter” as astral light that becomes a holographic-etheric blueprint for growing, organizing, and spatially forming the physical equivalent. As we think, feel, and imagine, we shape light into the reality of our thoughts, imprinting the ether around us with that impression as a vibratory frequency that becomes our “signature” for creating as our style and how we “handle our subject”. Temptation – The True Nature of Choice, Will, and Facilitating a Process of Change

The definition of temptation is to induce a person to committing an act by manipulation, seduction, curiosity, strong desire, or out of the fear of loss. Something that coaxes us to engage in short-term urges of enjoyment that threatens long-term goals. We seem to decide between two things, both of which are desirable and compelling in some way, which means we have to give up one of them in order to have or create the other, and a form of internal conflict ensues as a result. We still have a strong desire for what we’re “giving up” while simultaneously knowing that if we engage in it we’ll regret it in the long run, we’ll sabotage ourselves somehow, or we’ll feel disappointed in ourselves.

The feeling of loss we experience when giving up something we find pleasurable or emotionally gratifying in some manner, or that fulfills a need of some kind, in pursuit of something we feel is even more desirable or beneficial, can set into motion a form of internal conflict and constant negotiation that produces an experience of suffering in regards to our choices. It creates a kind of catch twenty-two as a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” type scenario. This is why “will” is an inherent part of choice as the necessary means for actualizing it and bringing about the desired change by exercising our ability to consciously self-create in a deliberate and purposeful manner.

What we tend to experience is that the minute we decide to give something up that we find pleasurable and have established a habit around, we feel an immediate sense of loss, and experience an intensified and heightened desire for it. We crave it and develop a hankering for it. As we abstain from it, our desire for it seems to become even more pronounced and stronger. Not because it actually is, but because we’re going through change as a withdrawal where we’re very aware of the absence and we miss it and have a longing for it. Because we miss it we have a heightened awareness around it, and think about it in a compulsory manner.

This craving as missing what we’re giving up is the most basic form of temptation that begins a greater process. Once we make it past the initial thrust of exercising sheer willpower and we get a few days into it, we feel we have a handle on it, we become more relaxed in regards to it, and another form of temptation comes into play. This is the coercive, gently seductive part of us that starts talking to us in a way that totally makes sense and makes it okay to relapse, give up our desire to change, and go back to business as usual. This voice plays on our weakness, portraying it in a way that makes it seem like we’re not giving in, just deciding we can do it while still pursuing our other goal in spite of it. We tell ourselves we can somehow manage or control it or not let it affect us. This aspect of us is very persuasive and convinces us to go back to our old ways and forfeit the idea of changing.

This kind of abstinence brings a sense of suffering, internal conflict and emotional anguish, as well as a form of constant emotional negotiation where we begin arguing with ourselves as one aspect outright manipulating and trying to gain power over another aspect. We always have multiple aspects of ourselves that look at everything from different perspectives, with different attitudes, ideas, and motives. In purely psychological terms these are called archetypes or sub-personalities, but we can also think of them as different aspects of our own personality as being of a “multiple” nature and therefore exist in a primary state of constant inner turmoil that’s often arbitrary and capricious.

We are not singular beings with a concentrated focus, but rather composed of a dynamic multifaceted nature that often exists in a primary state of opposing itself. We also have subconscious tendencies, which are emotionally motivated and experientially driven that often directly oppose our rational and objective thinking. The subconscious mind is the part of us that’s ritualistic, habitual, and automated in nature and forms habits around emotionally gratifying activities, then defends the right to preserve those activities. Anytime the subconscious mind is in conflict with the self-conscious, thought-oriented mind of objective reasoning, it nearly always wins out because it uses emotions as the means to seduce, coax, and manipulate the rational mind. Emotions, when left unguarded and allowed to play out without containment, tend to completely run our thought and engage us in compulsive urges and pleasure driven behaviors that have no regard or concern for consequences. This is what we call the lower, animal mind that’s instinctively driven through compulsive sensuous urges and thoughtless behaviors.

When we make a decision to change somehow, our path divides as a kind of fragmentation and sets into motion the need to debate the validity of our choice based on a sense of loss. Whatever we give up, we miss, even if we realize it was bad for us. As we miss it we form an intense longing for it by only thinking about what was good about it, forgetting all the bad. A form of seductive enticement takes place within our own mind. We literally battle with ourselves, first weakening ourselves through thoughts of desire and enhanced sensory imagination that amplifies and concentrates the feelings of pleasure around the activity of it, then struggle with a form of mental anguish at being strong enough to resist it.

This whole process takes place because we haven’t learned how to operate our own mind in terms of realizing how we form an internal representation of ideas that make them either compelling or repulsive. Anytime we’re talking about the “will”, we’re referring to the imagination. It’s through the imagination that we work directly on our own subconscious mind, which doesn’t “think” in terms of verbal thoughts, but rather takes verbal thoughts and turns them into sensory realities in the imagination that invoke a strong emotional component that either make them pleasurable and compelling, or painful and repulsive. Pleasure and pain are the motivating forces of our lower nature as a form of primal drive. Subconsciously we’re always moving towards pleasure and away from pain.

To “will something” is to create the reality of it in the imagination “as if” it’s already happening, creating an experience of it that’s very desirable and has positive emotions associated with it. The language of the subconscious mind is “strong sensory experiences” that elicit an equally strong emotional response. Emotions are the language of the material plane and come as a natural response to our thoughts and experiences. We have to make whatever it is we want to create (our choice) very appealing in sensory terms, while making what we want to quit doing very disgusting and repulsive in sensory terms. Ideas as a sensory reality that mimics an actual experience invokes emotions that not only become the formative motivating factor, but also act to connect us to that same idea all around us. Emotion is the language as a frequency of the material plane and runs in currents that are being transmitted and received all the time. Whatever our emotional state, we’re engaged in the reality of that state and act as a magnet for its fulfillment by organizing and interacting with that same emotion in everyone and everything around us.

One of the primary functions of the imagination is to form “internal representations” of thought as ideas that we use in place of the actual reality of it. When we think about an activity as an experience, we make it either compelling or repulsive based on “how we think about it” it terms of what we associate with it and use to give it meaning. When we associate positive ideas and feeling with it, we create a very pleasurable, joyful, and fulfilling experience of it. Likewise, when we associate negative ideas with it, we make it painful, ugly, and disgusting somehow. This internal representation as an imagined experience of it provides us with a preview that either makes it tempting and hard to resist, or uninteresting and easy to forget. In order to make an idea compelling we have to infuse it with very pleasurable and desirable associations, while making the idea we’re moving away from seem disgusting, repulsive or awful somehow.

If we pay close attention, we’ll further realize that the internal images or scenarios we form in our imagination of the idea has certain sensory attributes and qualities that work at the purely subconscious level to make it seem either distant and dissociated or up-close and intensely real. These sensory features are called sub-modalities and are the method we use to further develop how we represent an idea to ourselves. Anything that we watch and run through our mind’s eye that seems small, off in the distance, and either black and white or monotone in color, lacks intensity and isn’t provocative. It seems far off and unattainable, more like a distant memory that produces very little emotional impact. However when we form images and imagined scenario’s that seem up-close, in vivid color, and intense where we see, hear, feel, smell, touch, and are talking to ourselves about the experience we’re having in very positive terms, they become immediate and act to produce very compelling emotions.

Likewise, whatever we associate an idea with not only shapes the meaning it has but how we “feel about it” when thinking of it. As a general rule the mind is always in the process of forming a chain-of-association that links ideas together as a way of making them mean something and classifying them accordingly. Whatever ideas we associate with an idea shapes that idea in terms of what it means, and them meaning it has shapes how we experience it and what it means about us in relationship with it. We develop ideas to give them meaning by how they exist in relationship with other ideas of a similar nature. When we make positive associations it intensifies the love and desire for the idea, whereas when we associate very negative and disgusting ideas with it, it makes it very repulsive and we form a kind of disdain for it. In whatever way we shape the idea in our mind as an experience that’s associated to other ideas of the same nature, that makes them either desirable or repulsive, shapes our tendency towards or away from them simultaneously.

By learning how to work with our own imagination to form an internal representation of an idea that we use to let go of ideas or break habitual tendencies, or move towards more beneficial ideas with a sense of eagerness and enthusiasm is the secret to using your will to transform habits and behaviors that we’ve outgrown or realize are not in the best interest of our growth and development. When we make a decision to quit one thing and begin doing something new, and we use our “will” to actualize the reality of our choice, doesn’t mean to suffer and struggle through the agony of constant temptation to eventually tire, relapse and give up, but comes rather as our ability to change how we’ve polarized an idea to move it from a desirable to an undesirable state, while transferring the feeling of desire from the old idea onto the new idea. By taking what we once deemed pleasurable and rendering it painful by how we re-present the idea to ourselves internally by “remaking the experience”, makes it easy to resist. As we form our new idea with intense sensory details, positive and compelling emotions, and associate it with ideas whose meaning makes us feel the way we want to feel, we naturally move towards them with a sense of love, devotion, and excitement. It’s all about how an experience makes us feel and what it means about us as we engage in it.

All ideas as realities or potential for creating realities through choice and will, exist in a polarized state as complementary opposites that are extremes of the same idea and form a range or scale between them as degrees of the same thing. All change in the ultimate sense comes as a change in degrees of the same thing, rather than a change in kind. Whenever we “quit” one thing in favor of another, it usually comes as moving from the negative aspect of the idea to what we could think of as the positive aspect. We don’t ever really quit habits, but rather transform them into new habits that are more desirable in terms of their benefits. Whenever we decide to change a behavior, we have to decide what behavior we’re going to replace it with or what we’re going to do instead. If we leave an empty void by deciding to quit something without replacing it, we’ll tend to draw something else in unconsciously and simply begin doing something else that’s not thought out and deliberate. So the minute we decide what we’re no longer going to be, we have to immediately decide what we’re going to be instead, and make a transition from one mindset to another.

Association also has another component in behavioral changes and that comes through the process of “anchoring” an idea as a means of designing a natural “trigger” for it as an activating mechanism. We form a series of associations to an idea that act as the means of activating a whole behavioral pattern as a kind of memory. Throughout our daily life, as we go about our normal activities, we are constantly forming an association in the present with memories of the past as a way of being able to assign “instant meaning” to things as our natural perception of them. Certain behaviors, characteristics, words, tone of voice, touching us somewhere on our body, smells, and so on, act as triggering mechanisms that cause us to reference old memories and bring them forward into the present, associating the present with the past as a form of “this means the same thing as that”, and we subconsciously play out the same pattern as a set of automated behaviors. By realizing this, we can either associate the new behavior to the same thing that served as a trigger for the old behavior, or we can create a new one that we use intentionally to instantly change our state and “activate the pattern” we’re replacing it with. In this way, the old behaviors are no longer capable of being activated in us unconsciously by the same triggers.

Once we realize how to use our imagination to transform old ideas and form new enticing and compelling ones, we realize that we’re no longer “tempted” by the old, and have no trouble whatsoever refraining from it. Just the fact that we’re still tempted by an idea shows us that we either haven’t really made a true decision against it and for something else, and we’re still therefore debating it, or we haven’t used our mind in the appropriate way to change how we perceive, present, and relate to the idea. The decision to quit one thing in favor of another comes through realizations that we form around what we’re doing and the results it produces as natural consequences to our actions. Once we make a decision towards something new that facilitates our growth in a positive manner, and we “willfully bring that choice into fruition”, means to use the natural power of our imagination to re-orientate ourselves in relation to both, what we’re letting pass away, and what we’re creating in its place. Anytime we use our will as our imagination in this manner, change becomes easy and natural and undertaken with a sense of enthusiasm and anticipation, and temptation of the old doesn’t even exist as a part of our experience. We simply forget about the old and move fully into the new filled with a sense of anticipation and awe at our own ability to create our reality and become self-determined as a result.

Mastering Your Will to Accomplish Goals – Thought, Desire, Imagination, and Action

Harmony and Alignment is the Key to Creating

Many times we set goals for ourselves as a means of self-development, lifestyle change, or improving our life conditions, where we start off with a feeling of determination and will power, only to have it fade, weaken, and give up relatively early in the process. We don’t seem to have the ability to stick with something long enough to accomplish it, or we start doubting it, wavering, and changing our mind as soon as it becomes difficult. Then we can feel disappointed in ourselves, let down, and realize weaknesses of various sorts that become discouraging, often preventing us from trying again. We simply give into the feeling of being unable to create and be empowered in our own lives, and live a mundane and unfulfilling existence, or succumb to the very things we have a relentless desire or moral need to overcome. The more we try and fail the more discouraged we become, until at some point, we quit trying.

The main reason we think we’re making decisions for ourselves that we can’t willfully complete or produce, is because we fail to align all aspects of ourselves to the same goal. In order for us to manifest a new behavior, character trait, or reality of any kind, requires the alignment of the conscious (the one making the decision) with the subconscious (the one that produces it as a reality) mind. This alignment of the two material minds is synonymous with aligning the two hemispheres of the brain, because the mind operates the brain, and the entire system through the brain. The conscious mind is the aspect of the mind that possesses the ability to choose as a change of some sort, and is the intellectual “talking and dialoguing” mind, while the subconscious is the emotional, feeling and experiential aspect of the mind. Thought and emotion are always in-sync, and whatever emotion is married to the thought, becomes the formative motive for shaping the thought as a material manifestation.

Goals, and what seems like choices we make that are never fulfilled, is usually because the wrong emotion is associated to the thought as a reality. The subconscious only motivation is self-preservation and maintaining the status quo through habitual states. It’s habitual (automatic) in nature and operates out of memory as established patterns. In order to manifest something new or to change a habit, we have to work directly with the subconscious mind by programming it with the “reality of the desired goal”, while convincing it of how it will benefit in emotional terms.

Emotion is produced basically in two ways, one is as a response to our own thoughts, or from a charge we absorb that’s being projected from others or from our environment. Emotions are the primary energy of the astral plane, which can be equated to the atmosphere around us (of the Earth) that acts as an energetic medium that not only connects us to everyone else, but also serves as the means of transmitting emotional charges as a basic form of communication as “vibratory states”. Emotions of the physical plane are absorbed into the body, stimulating the chakra system (energy matrix of the astral body) that in turn stimulates our endocrine glands, which produce hormones that are of the same frequency (nature) as the stimulation, and alters our body chemistry and state to match or be the equivalent of it. This is how, from an evolutionary perspective, we stay in-tuned too and at the same energetic vibration of the environment in which we live, interact, and survive.

Anytime there’s a conflict of interest between the two minds, they act to sabotage and counteract each other. We have not only to bring the conscious and subconscious minds into harmony with each other, but also match the inner vision of the goal with our life conditions, circumstances, and associations. You don’t ever want to set yourself up so that in order to achieve the goal you have to constantly resist something that’s conflicting, or expose yourself constantly to what prevents it or steadily moves you away from it. All goals need to be of a personal nature and can’t require somebody else to achieve. The only real goals in life are those that pertain to developing yourself in some way through use of your creative power to “choose and willfully produce” desired experiences of reality that give you a certain type of “feeling”. Feelings are the language of the soul, and the desired result of all material goals.

The only way we create in life is by operating according to law, not by working against law. Law states that’s the feminine and masculine must always be in alignment and harmonious in order to pro-create or produce a material reality as its expression or offspring. We have to associate the proper emotion to our thought as an experience of the reality we wish to create, and then match the outer environment and what we connect and associate with, with the desired inner reality. We have to associate with whatever and whomever is of the same mind-set and reality as that which we wish to create. When we connect and associate with what’s of the same nature as our desired creation, it’s supported, strengthened, and amplified. When we continue to exist in relation with what’s not of the same nature (frequency), that contradicts or undermines it, we’re constantly tempted, filled with self-doubt, feel weakened and ultimately lose our focus.

Whatever we associate with we become like. Like always produces more of what’s like itself. This is the Law of Vibration. We only resonate (serve to vibrate and bring into an active state) with “shared qualities and characteristics” of that which we exist in relationship with. If our desired goal for manifesting change is not a natural part of the relationships we form with others and our life circumstances, nothing is serving to activate or vibrate us with that same idea as qualities and characteristics, and instead is constantly activating contradictory ideas in us. To manifest ourselves and reality, we have to create a completely harmonious and synchronized process.

As we make goals for desired change, we need to check those goals with all areas of our life to make sure they’re compatible and can be harmoniously integrated, producing beneficial effects in all areas of our life. If a desired change in one area contradicts another, or will cause problems in another area, they act to counterbalance each other, and a form of debate takes place as a negotiation and internal conflict. Anytime we’re experiencing internal conflict around an idea it acts to sabotage and contradict it. So any goal as a desired manifestation should be thought out in terms of how it’ll affect relationships, lifestyle, spiritual practices, health, economics, career, and so on. The idea has to be integrated into your life in a congruent and beneficial manner, or you’ll have to decide if the goal is more important to achieve than what you’ll have to give up or let go of in order to accomplish it.

There has to be a clear realization of the reality of what you’re achieving in terms of your entire life, and only when there’s congruence and continuity should you continue. Sometimes the goal simply needs to be modified to accommodate other areas in an agreeable way. All internal conflict has to be resolved around the goal, and all areas brought into alignment in terms of how achieving the goal will affect them. The benefits that will come through achieving the goal have to be well defined and infused with positive emotions that will make it very compelling and desirable. The most natural form of “willpower” lies in our “desire” for something and our ability to imagine it as an actual experience.

Once a life ecology check has been made, and all internal conflict resolved, the goal has to be concentrated on and formed in the imagination as an actual experience of the reality it implies. It has to be formed in sensory terms – what are you seeing, hearing, feeling, touching, smelling and tasting, and what are you telling yourself about it that makes it mean something – and you have to play it out as a scenario that’s exactly as you want it, while associating very positive and compelling (magnetic) emotions to it. You have to form it as an internal representation that’s up close, in full vivid color, imbued with strong sensations, and create your experience of it as being very fulfilling and satisfying, and really tune into the “feeling” it gives you. All goals are ultimately to acquire a feeling of some kind, and the feeling will act as your barometer and navigation system. The feeling of an experience is its vibration.

Imagine the desired reality in as many different scenario’s and circumstances as possible, developing each one until you get it just like you want it. Then, when you’ve perfected it, play it over and over, enhancing the sensory experience and emotion it brings, while telling yourself a story about it that infuses it with meaning. As we form internal dialogue around it while imaging it in vivid terms, feeling it deeply as an actual experience, we seat it into the subconscious mind as a form of virtual memory. This memory as a sensory reality forms a vibratory frequency as a pattern that the subconscious uses to produce the emotional state (body chemistry) and behavior (actions) necessary, while connecting to that same idea as a frequency in the environment around us, magnetizing us to it.

The subconscious acts to connect us with the reality of our thoughts in everyone and everything around us, while also producing all the behavior and actions necessary for initiating, interacting, and causing it. The subconscious mind produces all of our natural behaviors out of various forms of memory. To manifest an idea as a new habit, behavior, way of being, or experience of reality, the goal must be created as a form of memory, that’s very emotionally compelling. Positive emotions attract and move into, while negative emotions repel and move away from. The subconscious is motivated by emotions associated with pleasure and pain. The feelings and emotions associated to an idea, determine whether or not we are unconsciously (without direct awareness) moving into and towards our dreams, or away from and avoiding our dreams. Anytime we’re feeling apprehension, fear, anxiety, dread, loss, sacrifice, or pain around an idea, even one we say we want, we are actually acting “on ourselves” to prevent it. The subconscious mind always moves towards pleasure and away from pain. To move naturally into an idea you have to associate pleasure (positive feelings) with it, and hold it in positive regard.

If we set a goal that represents loss of any kind, especially if what we’re losing is valuable to us, or brings pain and grief of any kind, we have to come to terms with it, and decide to give it up in favor of the goal. Otherwise, again, they’ll act to contradict and sabotage each other. What tends to manifest and become naturally established is what exists in a harmonious fashion with both the conscious and subconscious, with the subconscious typically dominating the conscious mind. If it comes down to feelings and emotions contrasting thought, emotions nearly always win, not only because of the strong motive quality, but also because behavior is emotionally driven and are what connect us to everything else in the material plane of our natural environment.

The conscious mind has the ability to direct and program the subconscious mind through choice and will, but only if it knows how to work intuitively with the subconscious, and convert ideas into emotional realities as vibratory states. We have to speak to the subconscious in its own language, as experiences with full sensory enhancement that naturally elicits positive emotions in response to it. Every idea is developed and actualized based on the emotion associated with it. Emotion comes as the result of experience, and is what shapes the experience through the thoughts produced as the story we tell ourselves about it that interprets it to mean something. An idea as an emotional experience and internal dialogue (interpretation as a story) forms a memory. Memory is the language of the subconscious, and is what it uses to create our experience of both the inner and outer world as a correspondence to each other.

The way to form a goal as a manifestation of a new form of reality, is to decide on the change you desire to bring about, make sure that it only requires you to achieve, run an ecology check with all other areas of your life to ensure its congruent, modifying it as necessary to ensure it will produce desired results. Then imagine it as if it’s already real, forming an internal representation of it as up close, in vivid color with strong sensations (feelings), and in a way that makes it emotionally pleasurable and compelling. Then developing the idea until you get it just the way you want it in terms of how it makes you feel, then replay that idea over and over in your imagination, seating it in your subconscious as an actual memory. Once established and utilized by the subconscious as a memory, it provides a template as a pattern for creating it as an outer reality or experience of reality. All realities are created using the elements available in the immediate environment, and though it may not look like you thought it would or come about tin the way you thought it would, you’ll know it by the feeling it gives you. The feeling is the key to recognition.

As we think and feel, we tune ourselves to the vibration of that reality, and we begin resonating with it in everything around us.  We naturally connect and form a gravitational field with that same reality as a “type of experience” in our outer environment. The memory as an internal representation provides a kind of “road map” as a steady chain of association that provides “action steps”. We begin noticing things through a form of coincidence, where things stand out that connects us to it, drawing it to us and us to it, as a form of synchronicity. Whatever memories we associate ourselves with, we experience in our outer reality. This is the creative power of the mind that we’re using all the time without realizing it. We create our experience of reality based on our memories. Memories are formed from how we interpret the emotional events of our life that we then continue to think about and replay over and over, creating more of the same type of experiences. Anytime we think about something, we’re conditioning ourselves with those thoughts, and creating more of the same type of experiences. All emotional thought is a form of “request” to the Universe that says, “give me more of this”.

To create the future, create it as a preview of what’s to come. Our memories of the past create more of the same type of experiences in the present, which becomes the basis for the future. Our subconscious programming becomes our reality. By learning how to program our own mind with desired experiences, we learn how to literally manifest our reality at will, and shape ourselves by way of those realities. Our ability to choose (intentionally create) and the will (desire and imagination) is our soul’s ability to create reality and itself by way of that reality. It’s our mind that produces our experience of reality. As we think, feel, and imagine . . . . we become, and we reside in that world!

Mass Brainwashing – Mastering your Will and Learning how to take back Control your Mind

In our modern day society of constant sensory stimulation and information overload, our minds tend to be constantly racing with thoughts and emotions that keep us in a constant state of distraction and prevent us from ever being present in our own life. Most of the thoughts that we think throughout the day are redundant, habitual, and virtually meaningless. They’re formed from suggestions we receive all day long from electronic media of some form that are readily taken in and allowed to take hold, and from running emotional memories of some sort through our mind, reliving and replaying them over and over. This kind of thought not only keeps us in a constant state of living out of the past, but turns us into mindless drones controlled, programmed, and driven by whatever fad or propaganda is saturating the media.

All electronic media works to stimulate the mind, brain, and body through a variety of methods that operate out of the same principles as hypnosis, energetic entrainment, and auto-suggestion. Anytime the mind is rendered passive while engaging in some form of idea or process, whatever suggestion (idea) is delivered with a strong emotional component, is readily “taken in” and allowed to take hold, and developed into a personal (imagined) reality by thinking about it. As we think about an idea, we form a conceptualization as an internal representation that literally seats the idea into the subconscious mind, which uses it in the same manner as a memory. Out of this virtual memory comes patterns for actualizing as experiences that the subconscious uses to connect with that same idea in the outer world, magnetizing us to it. As we think we imagine and have an emotional reaction to our own thoughts, and act to “tune ourselves” to that vibration as a “type” of reality. Whatever vibration we are tuned to is the type of reality we engage in, readily see and connect to, and participate in creating by becoming a channel for it. We literally lend our will to creating it.

Ideas with strong emotions act like a “hook” to the unguarded mind, and become seeds, that once planted, continue to grow and become a part of our normal reality. Once we form an internal reality out of them, they’re integrated into our paradigm and become a natural part of our thinking and perceiving. These thoughts, which ultimately become habitual, determine our emotional state, which is the component that attaches us to that same idea as a reality all around us. Emotions are the motive force of the material plane, and is what readily travels throughout the material plane and acts as a stimulus. A physical stimulus takes place through “resonance”, or when energies of the same nature act to vibrate and move each other and are “absorbed” (sympathetic induction). Emotions that “enter into us” stimulate and influence us, are integrated and ultimately form coherence, which acts to amplify and increase the emotion that connects them. Once resonating, a form of gravity is created as an electromagnetic field that connects us, and we are steadily drawn into that idea in our environment and others who vibrate at the same frequency (share the same emotions and type of thoughts as they reality they produce).

Electronic media has many other covert features that are always operating on us without our awareness. Whenever something is influencing us without awareness, it means it’s working directly on and through our subconscious mind. All electronics produce an electromagnetic field, which is similar to our electromagnetic field, and therefore “acts on it” as a direct stimulus. This stimulus creates a form of tension that produces a chronic form of stress because it keeps the body in a constant alert and reactive state. Our houses and dwellings are all electrically powered, and most of us live every day in a sea of interwoven electrical currents that produce a form of chronic stress, that over time wears us down, lowering our resistance (immune response and mental overwhelm) and keeps us in a receptive state.

Most media devices we engage in and interact with have lit screens of some sort, which are created through oscillating light, that not only effects our Pineal gland, which regulates light, and stimulates our visual cortex, but also creates what we call “brain entrainment”, which is a form of “trance”. So anytime we’re using a media device or in near proximity of it, we’re being influenced by it, stimulated into an anxious state, then entrained by oscillating light, that then delivers information as ideas that have an emotional hook. We are literally being hypnotized and fed constant suggestions through various forms of media use. This stimulus, mental entrainment, and suggestion keeps us addicted to the devices causing them, and control and govern us by whatever information as a form of “hypnotic suggestion” they deliver and implant into our mind.

Most media devices or TV as entertainment of various sorts that have rapidly changing “scenes”, moving from one idea to another in a matter of seconds, creates a form of sporadic and illogical attention span that moves constantly from one idea to another every few seconds. This illogical, super-fast change of realities and ideas, creates the inability to concentrate, while being programmed with whatever information is being delivered by way of them. Anytime we’re being entertained, we enter into a receptive state and readily allow whatever idea is being played out to enter our mind where we become a part of it. We form energetic sympathy with it and absorb it into our mind. Computers, and especially cell phones, use windows and scrolling methods that keep our attention span moving rapidly through a large array of information while in a passive and receptive state, scanning information. This electronic entrainment produces sporadic and redundant thoughts and images that become habitual and chronic in nature. Because of these types of factors, our mind runs continuously with repeated thoughts of what movies we watched, songs we listened to, what videos we viewed, commercials we saw, articles we read, or whatever we have engaged in and allowed our mind to become saturated with.

For the most part, our modern day society has produced an entire society of brainwashed people who suffer from chronic forms of depression, isolation, learning disabilities, and erratic emotional states. The average person can’t control their own thoughts and feeling, and instead are controlled by them. Many people can’t concentrate, can’t shut off their mind and go to sleep, ignore the people sitting right next to them while engrossed in their cell phone instead, can’t stay focused long enough to read, and when they do read they can’t comprehend or retain, and lack the ability to concentrate and think deeply on any subject. They merely repeat the thoughts and ideas they’re being saturated with, and often never actually have a thought of their own. We’ve become a society of programmed drones who give our will to those who brainwash us, and work our entire life caught up in a system we’re forced to participate in. Most are so accustomed to it now that they can’t see what’s happening or don’t care, and eagerly participate in it while fighting to defend it when it’s pointed out.

One of the main things that’s required in order to begin taking back control of your own mind, is to begin observing your own thoughts, while becoming aware of what they are and where they came from, and begin censoring what you expose yourself to and the behaviors you engage in. Breaking the electronic media tendency can be difficult because it’s very addictive, and some of our most basic functions require them. Yet we can absolutely limit our use, and avoid engaging in it as a remedy to boredom, or as a way of engaging in behaviors that are ultimately meaningless or purely for entertainment. By paying attention to what we expose ourselves to, and what type of information we allow into our minds, we can become more aware and select stuff that we actually want to acquire as part of our everyday thought processes. We can begin limiting our dependency on “entertainment” and the number of hours we watch TV or surf the internet, and begin engaging in “actual activities” of some sort that require us to be present and actually “do something”. We can get back into “live engagements” with actual people that we can know in the real sense, actually talk to, see their emotional expressions, feel their energy, and experience bonding of various forms.

Another practice is to learn how to develop and use our “will”. Our will is the creative aspect of our mind that comes from concentration and imagination that’s followed by actions of some sort. All creative power lies in concentrated thought, and when we are scattered and think erratically, or move from one thing to another without the ability to fix our attention on something for an extended period of time, we tend to never really create anything, but merely pass time instead. If we shut off the TV and actually do something instead, or read a book, have a conversation with someone, clean the house, cook a meal, work in the yard or garden, go for a walk, and so on, we’re able to practice being present “in” our life, develop our ability to concentrate and remain focused on something, and improve our health, our relationships, and our living environment, while also becoming happier and more content.

When we begin realizing that various forms of “entertainment” are the best form of hypnosis because we enter into those activities without any resistance or censoring tendencies, and so we take everything right into our mind and allow it to take hold in our imagination, we can begin being more selective about what types of entertainment we readily engage in. Many people who watch four to five hours of TV at night, are also watching a good hour’s worth (if not more) of commercials. Everywhere on the internet is cluttered with junky “sensationalized” type of advertisements, articles on many websites are cluttered with so many adds it’s hard to follow the article, and even videos are full of ads of some kind. So we’re being bombarded with various forms of media that’s all designed to get our attention and cause us to “click” on it, or ads designed to persuade us to purchase something. Nowhere is there a more masterful use of psychology and hypnosis than there is in the advertising, marketing, and news fields. Anything that’s delivered with a “strong emotional content” or that’s extreme in some way, acts like a hook to the mind, and once the information is received, we continue to think about it long after it’s past. In many cases, it can become a habitual part of our thoughts or something that we process more like a fact and as a form of learning by incorporating it into our mental paradigm, where it becomes a perceptual filter of some form.

When we engage in any type of “screen” activity (TV, Cell Phone, Video games, computer, etc.) within a couple of hours before going to bed, it stimulates our visual cortex and Pineal gland, which is what regulates our Arcadia rhythm (sleep cycle), and we feel anxious and can’t “shut off our thoughts”. Those who watch TV while in bed, and fall asleep with it still going, are actually still taking in everything that’s being said or played out with their subconscious mind. As we drift off to sleep, and as we wake up in the morning, are the most natural states of hypnosis we experience in our everyday life. While sleeping, our conscious “censoring mind” is completely subdued, yet our subconscious mind, which never sleeps, is dominate and active, meaning that it’s still taking in and processing information from the environment. Also, when we fall asleep watching a screen of some form, much like drinking alcohol, we tend to wake up a couple of hours after falling to sleep and can’t go back to sleep, often accompanied by a strong feeling of anxiety and restlessness. LED lights (blue light ray) of any kind are not only harmful to your eyes, but are a major cause of insomnia of various forms. A Lack of sound sleep over an extended period of time, causes emotional and mental “weakness” as feeling tired, unable to concentrate, feeling foggy, can’t think straight, over reactive emotionally and chronic forms of depression.

So the best way to take back control of your own mind and will, is to become aware of all the ways your mind is being infected through hypnotic processes and electromagnetic stimulation, and pick and choose your activities based on that. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Reduce the amount of exposure to any form of device that’s electromagnetic in nature, radioactive, has a lit screen, wireless transmission, and is filled with commercials.

  • Don’t use a device with a lit screen within two hours of going to bed.

  • Don’t fall asleep in front of a TV, and don’t have a TV in your bedroom.

  • Don’t sleep with your cell phone next to your bed.

  • Avoid commercials and advertising of all forms, and limit the amount of news you watch.

  • Limit the amount time you spend on social sites or scanning your phone.

  • Engage more in “actual activities” that require you to be present, interactive, and think and doing something.

  • Meditate or take time out to just relax and reflect on something without any stimulus or noise. Quiet time.

  • Spend more time with people who are actually present with you, such as family, friends, neighbors, or animals of various sorts.

  • Spend some time throughout the day concentrating steadily on something for an extended period of time without letting yourself get distracted.

  • Read more (paper books – no screens)

  • Spend more time doing things outside that are active, enjoyable and out in the sunlight (Vitamin D)

  • Make sure you get an ample amount of sound sleep (5 to 8 hours).

  • Eat a healthy well-balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables and water. Stay hydrated.

Like all things, it’s best to start with a couple of practices then increase as you accomplish those. Trying to do too many at a time will usually set you up for failure and create a stressful experience. Most of these activities are a form of habit, and may be somewhat difficult to give up, especially if you find them enjoyable or as a means of filling time that otherwise you wouldn’t have anything to do. As you stop one activity you should have another one that you’ll be replacing it with. We’re never really “breaking habits”, but rather consciously creating healthy habits to replace unhealthy ones.

Spiritual DNA, the Soul’s Code, and the Subconscious Mind

 

As humans we have what we can think of as a three-fold nature as three minds operating in one body, which merely acts as the vehicle or instrument of the mind, which not only serves to operate the body, but is also what constructs it and gives it life. The three minds exist on multiple planes and correlate with three-dimensional reality of what we call the material world. The three minds, known as the higher or super-conscious, the lower or subconscious, and the conscious or self-conscious  minds, exist as a single unit or unified field as a vibratory frequency that has dual electromagnetic properties that are self-creating, self-perpetuating, and self-sustaining. The higher mind contains the two lower minds as inherent aspects of its dual nature, that all systematically emerge out of each other as a form of division that’s actually a form of regeneration, or in other words, one aspect births the other aspects as a form of growth process that undergoes a life cycle within the lower material realm.

The higher mind, which exists entirely on a higher parallel dimension in its whole state, descends into the lower material realm through a form of division, much like cellular mitosis which regenerates itself as a growth process while taking on specialized functions within a whole living organism. The higher mind or over-soul impregnates a living cell (embryo) with a form of blueprint as an etheric hologram that’s used for cellular specialization and spatial orientation in constructing the whole organism. This etheric holographic map serves to systematically organize the cellular growth of the living organism that is imbued with the same qualities and characteristics of the parents (higher mind-soul) that acted to create it by infusing an energetic code with Life-Force Energy, multiplying it and growing it out of nothing, through a process of self-regeneration.

The energetic code of the higher mind is a form of spiritual DNA as the soul’s code, and operates according to the same principles as the physical DNA, and together form a vehicle that’s of the same vibratory frequency or nature as the “soul-mind” that inhabits it through resonance and coherence. The soul attracts to and serves to give life to the body that’s of the same frequency, through a form of DNA match that’s comprised of various sorts of memory, which are compatible and ideally suited for each other. Just as our physical DNA has the memory and genetic code to structure the body, giving it distinct characteristics and tendencies, and carrying the memories of the ancestral bloodline, the soul is structured and comprised of memory from multiple lifetimes which are compatible to the ancestral memory of the body, and together, form a complementary and congruent experience of life as the “self”. All of life comes as a result of combinations, which through a process of natural selection (resonance) as dominant and recessive aspects of the same shared characteristics, form a new pattern or formula as a unique combination, which births a new variation, evolving it based on the expression of newly acquired characteristics and tendencies as temperament and disposition.

The higher mind is born into the lower, animal body as the subconscious mind, which contains the self-conscious mind as latent potential and gives birth to it as its offspring through a natural growth and development process. The subconscious mind, which is the aspect of the mind that we share with the animal and plant kingdom (living organisms), operate all the biological processes of our body in an automated and natural fashion, requiring no awareness on our part, and is what gives us our personality as our natural disposition, temperament, tendencies, and style of behaviors. The subconscious mind is passive and receptive in nature, and acts like a sponge to only absorb and imitate what’s around it. All of the formative conditioning which comes through the parents, living situation and conditions, and behavioral dynamics that it’s a functional part of, all serve to activate and bring out certain traits that are apart of both the ancestral memory and the soul memory, and together acts to set the stage for continued development and expression of the active components, while other memory remains dormant as latent potential that’s available to be activated and brought into expression through proper stimulus.

The self-conscious mind is birthed out of our subconscious mind around the age of seven or eight, and becomes predominantly active during adolescence. It’s during this time that we begin separating from our parents and forming our personal identity. Our “identity” (ego) is formed through our ability to begin thinking for ourselves, problem solving, making decisions, and forming an “image” of ourselves that create the experiences that we then use to self-create by how we identify or get a sense of ourselves within our own self-made experiences. The self-conscious mind is fully active and established around the age of twenty eight. We basically develop in four seven year increments, with the first two, birth through 14, establishing our subconscious formative conditioning where we create without any direct awareness as an extension of our family and environment, and 14 to 28, establishing our self-conscious, self-aware mind that’s fully identified with the body (subconscious) that birthed it. The self-conscious mind is imbued with choice and free will in order to actively separate from their parents and become their own person as an individual.

The self-conscious mind which establishes our identification as our body, social status, and lifestyle, is what’s commonly referred to as the ego. Yet ego and identity are actually the same thing, and in spiritual texts, the term ego is often used in place of identity. What, how, and who we become in life, is all about what and who we identify with or resonate and feel a connection to. The people we like and associate with, what type of experiences we create through the choices we make and the reality of those choices that we then “sense ourselves” through, is what forms the basis for the story we begin telling ourselves “about” ourselves that act to shape us as a certain type of person. We’re attracted to and naturally participate not only in certain types of situations and dramas, but also to certain roles within those situations and dramas.

As we become adults we establish our identity as a lifestyle that’s built out of all the components and conditioning that went into making us who we are, all of which originated and became established through predominantly unconscious means. Even when we develop our conscious mind and start becoming self-aware, our subconscious mind and conditioned tendencies are what formed our mental paradigm, perceptual lens, and the thematic story we used as the means of interpreting the events of our life to give them meaning and significance. So all of what we call “self-awareness” originated from our unconscious mind as natural tendencies and perceptual-behavioral patterns that we were already programmed with and continued expressing as a means of creating ourselves. All of our perceptions serve to validate us by justifying whatever it is we need in order to maintain our perspective on things, and to validate, defend and keep telling our story about things. Our story about our life, what happened to us that made us the way we are, about the way people are, and the way the world is, becomes the reality we use as a belief system to create a consistent and congruent experience of life that makes sense to us, and is how we “act on ourselves”, through our own mental perception to create ourselves.

The mind’s tendency to believe in its own illusions as the story born out of its conditioning as a trained mind-set that only utilized certain qualities and characteristics, while others remained latent, and forming their whole sense of self out of this body, these conditions, circumstances, and certain types of situations, is what forms a selective perception from a specific perspective as a self-imposed delusion that never recognizes that their true identity is as the creator of that story and not the effect of the story. When we mistakenly identify with our material circumstances and possessions, we create ourselves as mortal beings whose “self” dies with the body and is annihilated. This identification with the physical body simultaneously creates a fear of death and the tendency to desperately cling to life, without which, we would cease to exist.

The awakening, which forms the basis for rebirth, comes when we are finally able to realize in very clear terms, that we are not the product of our story, helpless to change it, and subject to it, but rather the one creating the story, and creating our “sense of self” by way of our own story about things. Once we become aware of this, we begin simultaneously realizing that we don’t have to tell this story as a means of creating ourselves in life, but we are free to tell whatever story we possess the latent and natural traits, talents, and characteristics for. We can realize the true reality of things, and by experiencing our ability to choose and willfully act out our choices, we can activate our latent potential, and by bringing it out and learning to express it by deliberately employing those aspects and abilities, learn how to tell a new type of story. A story that puts us in control as the author and choreographer of our story, and the main character. We can become whoever we want to be, if we simply realize this and are willing to give up our story about things, which means losing our identity for the brief time it takes to begin reforming it.

We’re all born with a dream for our life that lives inside of us and is known through our desire for it and imagining it as a form of soul memory. Our soul comes into life through the body with an intention for growth of some form, which only comes through utilizing our full potential for creating a certain type of experience through the story that we’re naturally designed to tell. First inwardly, by imagining and dreaming of it, then outwardly through taking action on it and willfully acting it out. All that’s required for actual growth and deliberate self-creation, is our willingness to give up and let go of our current story about things and about our life. Realizing that the only reason we’re attached to our story and don’t want to give it up, or feel that we can’t, is because we’ve built our identity out of it, and in giving it up, we won’t know “who we are”, which can overwhelm us with an extremely insecure and unsure feeling.

Our awakening as our second birth, comes as an identity crisis where whatever we’ve built our life around begins disintegrating, falling apart, no longer working, and going away, leaving us with a kind of “clean slate” to build ourselves anew. In order to build a different structure, you can’t use the same foundation or footprint. You have to completely destroy, tear down, and rework the ground that the new one is going to be built on. You have to have a completely different set of blueprints. This is why very few people actually engage in the true process of transformation and spiritual awakening, because it means completely giving up life as you know it, for an idea that’s largely unknown, obscure, and somewhat frightening. We fear change because we imagine the change is going to be worse instead of better, and we don’t have faith in our ability to actually pull it off. We’re so attached to our material existence that we can’t imagine life without it. Yet, what we often fail to realize is that all of our pain and suffering come from our attachments and addictions to whatever it is that causes us as divine beings to become associated to a mortal existence. Our belief in our mortality forms a tomb as a prison for the soul, inhibiting it from higher forms of expression as the creator of our life story, and who we truly are apart from our material body, possessions, roles and status, and our life circumstances. To shed the ego means to dissolve the “false ego”. To quit forming our identity out of our physical existence, and begin instead identifying and forming a love for the spiritual realm, our higher self, and sensing ourselves out of our divine spiritual soul instead.

Whatever we identify with, we bond ourselves to. By identifying with our material existence, we remain connected and attached to being incarnated in a material body, and we render ourselves (through choice) mortal and temporary in nature, with our “sense of self” dying with our body, instead of as immortal souls who live beyond the body in the true realm of the soul, which is purely spiritual, uninhibited, and eternal in nature. Those who remain identified with and only knowing themselves through their body, dies a thousand deaths, and remains a mortal being within the material realm of pain and suffering, a fate that’s willfully self-determined and a life sentence that’s self-imposed and regulated.

Creating a Vision for your Life – Choice, Will, and the Power of the Imagination

While many of us may say or feel as if we have a vision for our life, it’s usually more of a vague story that we keep running through our mind about what we want to do or what we’d rather be doing instead of what we’re doing now, or as a kind of fantasy that we treat more as a leisurely thought that provides us with a kind of coping mechanism or escape from our present situation. It’s hardly ever formulated into a precise idea with vivid details, or formed into a strategy as a plan of action that we then take consistent action towards. And while we can certainly say that a goal written down is far more likely to be accomplished than one that not, we can go a step further and say that a goal that’s turned into a vision as a reality or “well-formed outcome” that’s imagined as if it’s real and actual, then acted on in a consistent manner, is nearly always accomplished.

Many of us get into our life through random situations and relationships that we engage in spontaneously and then weave together in as congruent a manner as possible, and we just kind of end up somewhere in life through a form of default, or we start off with a dream as a kind of vision for our life, and get side tracked or pulled into other things that lead us away from it altogether, sometimes into a situation that we like even better, or sometimes as a means of sacrificing our dream for others and putting it on the back burner for “someday”, or giving it up all together, only to end up unhappy and feeling unfulfilled where resentment and regret sets in and begin eating at us little by little. Still others get pulled into the currents of their life early on and never really had a dream, or looked for who they are in a relationship that they then built their identity around, only to have it shattered at some point along the way when the relationship ran its course, began changing in the fundamental sense, or ended altogether, throwing them into an identity crisis of some form.

We are all born with some kind of dream for our life that’s a part of our essential nature, and exists as the most basic form of spiritual guidance there is that’s meant to lead us into our destiny. Every soul has an energetic composition as what forms our personality, basic character, and identity. Out of our character comes a natural form of story as ideas, situations, and activities that we naturally “see ourselves” engaged in and doing somehow. We have various forms of desire for certain ideas that we feel a natural connection to. Ideas that we have a kind of innate love for, interest in, and curiosity regarding, and we’re always moving towards and into them in a completely natural way. We picture ourselves in those types of situations doing those types of things, and it feels completely natural to us.

When we participate in certain types of ideas and activities, we enter into a state of rapport and sympathy with them, uniting with them in body and mind, and have a heightened sense of being fully present in our own life as a form of natural concentration. We enter into an energetic current as a flow of consciousness where we lose all awareness of ourselves as separate and apart from our experience, and we literally have the experience of becoming one with something that’s greater than ourselves. What we dream of and desire to become one with as a means of experiencing ourselves through the feeling it gives us, we have an internal longing for that always keeps us dreaming of it and actively seeking it out in some manner. This dream as a sense of our life purpose, is relentless in nature and never really goes away, no matter how deep we bury it or how hard we try to ignore it.

To create a vision for our life means to recognize what our dream for our life is, embody that fully as an actual reality that we create in our imagination “as if” we’re actually experiencing it. As we imagine the idea as a situation or scenario, we imbue it with sensory information that brings it to life as an actual experience of it. We create details and crystalize it by asking questions like . . . what am I seeing? Then enhance the visual aspects in full vivid Technicolor. Then, what am I hearing? And create any sounds involved, no matter how small. Then, what am I touching and feeling? What am I smelling or tasting? What am I telling myself about my experience as my internal dialogue? Once we have a full sensory experience that’s sensuous and life-like, then we form a feeling of love for it, we infuse it with very positive emotions that make it desirable and extremely compelling. Then we allow it to take on a life of its own while noticing how we’re feeling and “being” in that situation. What parts of us are being brought out and expressed that make us become a certain “type” of person, and how we relate and associate with the experience. Who and how we become by way of the experience that’s different from the way we normally feel.

Once we’ve created it just as we want to experience it as an initial idea, we then incorporate it into other areas of our life to see how it will affect the other areas of our life, and we make whatever alterations and adjustments we need to in order to incorporate it in as congruent and harmonious way as possible. We keep reforming ourselves and the vision itself until it becomes a fully integrated idea that will work well in all areas of our life. If we can’t integrate it into a specific area or relationship in our life as it currently exists, then we know what decisions and changes we need to make, and what we need to give up or let go of in order to do it. Conflict and inharmonious ideas will only act to sabotage, contradict, or oppose the idea we’re going for and prevent us from achieving it. In order to truly manifest a new reality and way of being, we have to form an alignment with all areas of our life in a sympathetic and harmonious fashion, or they’ll act as emotional blocks and internal conflict, which may prevent our ability to create it or leave us filled with guilt of some kind.

Once we have a fully integrated vision for our life, we play that vision like a movie over and over in our mind as various experiences within that life, until we create it as a “thought-form” that acts as a virtual memory or actual experience of reality, that the subconscious mind can use as if it were an actual memory, and uses it to connect us emotionally and energetically with that same idea in our outer environment. Concentrated thought as an idea brought into form as an imagined reality married to its emotional equivalent, literally becomes infused with our life-force energy which generates an electromagnetic field and takes on a life of its own as a separate entity, and both projects and stimulates that same frequency as an idea all around us, and magnetizes or attracts and draws to us, and us to it, that same idea as a set of circumstances or situation necessary for acting out that idea as an experience of that type of reality.

We give life to ideas through concentrated thought imagined as a sensory reality that invokes its complementary emotion as the electromagnetic force of the material plane. All matter as subtle energy is formed and arranged into structured patterns by the mind through the creative use of the imagination. A desire for something acts as a unifying, self-seeking force. We only desire what we love, and we can only love what we understand, and we only come to know and therefore understand by uniting (sympathetic induction) and becoming one with it (forming coherence). What we love we desire to become one with, and in union with it we gain knowledge of it by being it. Love and desire are the attractive, unifying force as the most natural use of the will, both higher will and lower will. We always know what we’re meant to do by what we have a natural connection and desire for.

A fully imagined idea as a feeling, sensory, and emotional reality, creates the pattern of an idea as a vibratory frequency that possesses electromagnetic properties. Thought shapes light as essence into archetypal forms that become prototypes for producing an equivalent or corresponding reality. An idea or archetype that’s dwelled upon, concentrated on, and infused with feelings and emotion, is the most basic form of prayer as a request, or as providing a template for the experience desired that serves to organize the natural forces of the material world, drawing us into the same type of reality in our immediate environment (through resonance).

Whatever we focus on and give our attention to, we move towards and interact with. Attention is an active force that stimulates whatever it is we’re thinking about. As we form a vision as a desired experience that will make us feel a certain way, we can also realize what’s involved in creating that reality, and we can form a kind of process or strategy as a step-by-step process for producing it by connecting to it and interacting with it. All creation works by way of laws as processes that grow, generate, and produce living forms as thematic (archetypal) realities. So all forms as a reality has a growth process involved for creating it, as well as a state-of-mind as the “quality of being” necessary to exist within it in a harmonious and natural fashion as a part of it, and ultimately the creator of it.

As our vision becomes a reality for us and we can see the components involved that make up its structure, we can form the strategy as a progressive process necessary to grow, formulate, and produce it. Once this process becomes evident, we can form a series of smaller goals that need to be accomplished in order to lay the foundation necessary for it to spontaneously occur as a creation, and more importantly, maintain it as a new lifestyle and way of being. Out of these goals we organize priorities and which ones need to come first in order to produce the other ones as a form of growth process or systematic emergence and unfolding. Ideas grow, mature, and blossom. Once our process is laid out in a hierarchical format, we commit and discipline ourselves to consistently take action to achieve each goal, while cultivating an attitude of perseverance and mental fortitude that presses through fears and challenges, overcoming all that acts to prevent it, until each step is accomplished providing the basis for the next step.

As we begin executing our strategy, we’ll begin getting feedback as to the effectiveness of our methods, allowing us to make whatever adjustments we need to along the way. The initial plan as a strategy simply provides us with an organized process for beginning, and is not meant as a rigid set of rules that we adhere to even when they’re clearly not working. The implementation of any plan is always a “work in progress” that we allow to take on a life of its own as we begin manifesting it, and we modify and tweak it based on feedback, new information, or better ideas for doing the same thing.

A goal is always about producing a desired outcome, not defining the process necessary to create it. We have to remain flexible and able to go with situations as they arise, because a vision is a form of thematic idea that may not come about in the exact way we imagined it, but rather by using whatever is available and of the same idea in our immediate environment, and so the elements used may appear different, though they’ll be of the same idea and create the same type of feeling as the experience of our imagined one. The imagined idea acts as a prototype or thematic template for organizing and ordering ideas of the same nature. So they may not show up the way we think they will, but we can recognize them by how they make us feel and what they seem to be about as a type of reality.

So in order to create a vision for your life as a means of willfully creating and becoming self-determined, start formulating an idea about “who you really are”, what feeling you want to acquire, and what kind of life you would be living as a result, into a detailed, sensory reality that you feel a deep sense of love and soul connection to. Make it into an actual experience internally as a form of virtual memory that will serve as a program for your subconscious mind to connect with externally while also bringing to your attention anything that pertains to it as a form of coincidence or synchronicity. Integrate this idea into all areas of your life in a congruent and harmonious fashion, forming an alignment. Notice how it feels to be in this desired situation, and concentrate heavily on that feeling so you can recognize it in any situation.

As you live out this vision internally, notice the elements involved and what type of things are a part of it and build a creative process as a strategy for producing it in the practical sense of action steps or goals. Then commit to taking consistent action on each of these goals until they are accomplished and become real. Remember your vision is more of a “theme for your life”, and remain flexible through the whole process as it may not come about in quite the way you had imagined, though it will hold true to the theme of your vision and give you the same feeling as the one you fabricated in your imagination. Recognize any fears or inhibitions that may arise around what it takes to fulfill your goals, and be willing to push through them without letting them stop you. Avoid the tendency to make excuses for things that make you uncomfortable. Tweak your plan based on feedback and discovering new information that you hadn’t anticipated in the beginning. Adapt and adjust as you go along, and always keep moving towards it with a sense of love and determination, until it becomes an actual reality as a part of your everyday life.

Our Creative Power lies in our Imagination

 

“Perception as an Interpretation is a Product of the Imagination”

The imagination is the faculty of the mind that we use for creating reality as an internal experience. We first form our experiences by how we imagine them internally to give them meaning, which restructures them by the story we tell ourselves about them that turns them into a reality, which forms how we remember them, and is also used to recollect memories and think about them by replaying them over and over in our mind. So we’re always in the process of creating memory by how we imagine our reality creating our personal experience of it by the story we tell about it, and then by associating our present reality to the memory of the past using it to shape the present to be about the same thing, forming it into the same “type” of story. The story we tell about things, which forms a kind of theme, is what gives our life consistency. Our life’s theme as the primary story we tell about things comes from how we’ve created all our experiences by telling a consistent story about them as a kind of theme. This memory making ability as a form of multiplying and reproducing thematic experiences shaped by meaning and significance, are all done by how we (re)imagine the outer world by shaping it into a consistent storyline.

 
As we go through our day, we are constantly forming associations to memories and using those associations to form similar interpretations of the present. The themes of the past become the program that utilizes our creative imagination with its primary pattern for creating a thematic reality while simultaneously creating ourselves by identifying with our own story about things. As we tell a story about things, we get a sense of ourselves by way of that story, and form our identity out of it. Our identity and the story we act naturally to tell by how we interpret the events of our outer reality is a primary function of the imagination. Our imagination forms our perceptual lens and determines how we see things, and what we see “in” things. We can only see and make sense out of what matches our mental model, and can easily be turned into our story about things. Even when they actually have nothing to do with us or our story, we translate them to mean the same thing. In this way, we’re always shaping other people and events to be “like us”, through the story we tell about them which describes them using the same qualities that we ourselves possess.

 
Just as creative ideas are also received by and formed in the imagination, all memory is replayed and constantly being modified in the imagination. Each time we recall a memory as an association to the present, and use it to shape the present with the same meaning, we also modify the memory by adapting it to a new set of circumstances, and permanently alter it by doing so. While many of us believe memory is accurate and fixed and that we remember them exactly as we created them, and that we recall them in the same way we formed them, in reality memory is constantly being evolved through how we adapt them to the present situations, our maturity level, and our state of mind when applying it. Though we apply memories to an infinite number of new situations as a means of shaping them into congruent experiences, the theme of the memory remains intact and holds true no matter how we change the telling. So if the meaning as a theme of our memory is “I’m not loved”, and the memory becomes a sort of template as a storyline that provides consistent evidence of this based on how we interpret things, then even when we use the same memory in the present to tell the same type of story about it, and we change “how” we tell it, it’ll still “mean” we’re not loved.

Our imagination is the primary creative faculty of the mind that’s used to create our personal experience of an outer, objective reality, making it into a subjective “inner reality” as a personalization of a universal theme. While we all share and have in common the outer reality as a neutral set of events that we experience, each individual sharing the same outer event is creating a unique experience of it by how they filter the event through their paradigm as their perceptual lens that forms it into an interpretation as a variation reshaped to tell a somewhat different story using it. Each person notices different things within the situation, places a different emphasis on them, and organizes them into a new pattern that uses only some of the elements available that lend themselves to telling a certain kind of story. Any element that doesn’t match their storyline, isn’t “seen” (noticed), or is completely ignored, abstracting instead only what can be readily used as the elements of their life’s theme. Through our life’s theme, we form our life’s story, and we not only shape ourselves by way of that story, but shape everyone else by way of it also. Because of this “perceptual lens” that we look through to interpret the world, we shape everyone else to be “like us” and have the same qualities and character that we have, which is necessary to keep telling our story about things, and is the story our mind is designed to tell by how it’s structured. Our mind doesn’t have the ability to perceive things in a different way which is necessary in order to tell a different kind of story.

 
Because of this natural tendency of the human mind to create out of accumulated memories of it’s own making, the imagination, which also has the potential to be able to shape brand new perceptions of reality never experienced before, or as a unique interpretation of the present that’s not based on the past, it’s used instead to repeat the past and maintain redundant patterns that keep it locked into it’s own illusions. The imagination is usually used instead to simply relive whatever we’ve formed a memory of, whether through a living experience, or something we fantasized about, or imagined as thoughts being given to or taught to us by others, and while it still “creates” to a certain extent, it doesn’t create in the sense of being able to determine our own feelings, thoughts, and imaginings to perceive the present as dissociated from the past, and be able to create ourselves in new ways by learning how to tell new stories and evolve ourselves according to those stories.

 
Karma, which is living out of the same thematic forms of memories that recreate the same type of dynamics and behaviors over and over, prevents us from evolving in any measurable form. Instinct, as memory that produces automatic behaviors, is the product of the “lower mind” that we share with the animal kingdom, which lacks use of the higher mind and the ability to create in new and unique ways. Evolution within the animal / physical plane takes eons to produce the smallest of changes which usually come through a form of mutation, or freak accident. We as humans are born with a higher capacity to create ourselves and our reality by how we use the creative capacity of our imagination to break the patterns of memories and form whole new perceptions instead that serve to reshape and evolve our mental paradigm as accumulated memories to new and higher forms of experience. We are not bound to simply living out of our conditioning, but can “choose” to develop ourselves in an intentional and deliberate manner by simply choosing to begin telling a new kind of story that will require us to use latent qualities that will transform and evolve our character to new forms of expression.

This creative ability of the mind is the masterful use of our own imagination to let go of our attachment to our “story about things”, and our identity that formed as a result of our story, and make a conscious decision about the type of person we want to be instead, what qualities we’d have to embrace and bring into expression in order to do that, and what kind of story we would tell by how we acted and lived our life as a result. We can then practice forming experiences of ourselves “as” these qualities and employing these characteristics by imagining them and “acting them out”. Practicing “being that way” through a form of pretending and rehearsing where we get good at forming our new behaviors and practicing them repeatedly to the point where they start coming naturally. We can also set rules for ourselves through a form of moral code that we hold ourselves to that prevent us from repeating and continuing to live out of undesirable perceptions that form us according to them. One of the most standard practices for doing this is to recognize our negative traits and vices, and what positive trait and virtue we’d like to employ instead, and make a conscious effort to transform them using our will. Our will is our ability to first imagine something inwardly then act it out outwardly. In this way, we become self-aware and take the necessary steps to begin creating ourselves with full awareness of what we’re doing and how we’re being.

 
To employ any new idea, first decide you’re going to give up the old behavior and your attachments to it, then simply formulate in your imagination creating a reality out of it, apply it to your everyday situation as an action or behavior of some sort, then imagine the situations that normally stimulated the “old behaviors and attitude”, and systematically employ the “new behavior and attitude” in it’s place. Practice this over and over until it starts becoming natural and easy to do, while simultaneously practicing it in your daily life. By associating a new behavior or perception to the same stimulus or trigger, you don’t change anything or anyone else; you simply change your response to everyone and everything else. All change can only require you to do it. When we require someone else to change in order for us to be able to, we sabotage ourselves, and remain stuck in the same reactive patterns. All change begins inwardly, by changing your self and your perception of things, which then become the template or pathway for outer expression as actual self-directed and intentional behaviors.
