The Triune Nature of the Soul – How the Divine Soul can use the Lower Soul as a Vehicle and Instrument for Self-Development

The idea of “what the soul is” can be very confusing because most try to comprehend it from a purely materialistic form. Yet the soul itself, is not material in nature, though it’s the subtle field of energy that acts to create not only the material body in which it then inhabits, but also creates the entire material realm of what we call “reality” while in a physical body. All of the material reality as various separate forms that together comprise a larger unified form as a cohesive and coherent reality is accompanied by a field of subtle energy that acts to “in-form” it, and animates it through various creative processes and behaviors as the expression of certain attributes, qualities, and characteristics. This subtle field of holographic (structured) information that accompanies every physical form, is invisible in nature as what we call the “mind” or intelligence of the organism, and is what acts to give it life as an “entity” of some kind. This “intelligent field” is comprised of certain types of information as memory, and is what acts to sequence the DNA of the material body generating a physical form as its equivalent correspondence on a denser plane. All of what we call “reality” exists as multiple planes that act as correlating parallel dimensions that form a gradient scale that move from subtle to dense levels within the same frequency as a larger scale.

In all major spiritual traditions the idea of the soul is described in a similar manner through the concept of the Holy Trinity, the Monad of Sacred Geometry, or the primal Law of Three-in-One. This threefold nature of the soul is the basis for all analogies describing the threefold nature of the mind and the individual produced by the mind. In all spiritual traditions the soul and mind are considered the same thing, although the mind can also be seen as the vehicle or instrument of the soul. It’s only in modern times that we’ve attempted to explain everything from a material basis as being “causal in nature” while presenting the mind as being something that the brain (body) gives rise to and is somehow mysteriously capable of producing. Whenever we look at stuff through a purely material perspective we take an attitude of separating everything into parts, and creating a whole out of the parts, which in reality are unified in nature and a part of the same thing (holographic). The entire material world exists as a unification and expression of the spiritual realm of pure energy and consciousness, which acts to provide the intelligent matrix as a substratum out of which it arises and is animated through a form of mass consciousness.

The Psyche

The soul is described in most traditions as an “individual entity” that’s distinct and a part from the body, and is what serves to organize, form, and give life to the body. It produces life through the “Principle of Life” that operates as vibration that we experience as feelings, emotions, thoughts, and activity. It’s described as the incorporeal essence of a living sentient being – capable of feeling, sensing, perceiving, and experiencing. The soul is often described as the “psyche” or the mind as the place where our thoughts come from. The soul and the butterfly were given the same name in ancient traditions, which is the center of thought, feeling, and motivation, consciously and unconsciously directing the body’s reaction to its physical and social environment. Psychology, a field of science that studies the mind, soul, and spirit, is derived from the Greek term of “Psyche” used to describe the soul.

Modern day psychology is a science of mind and behavior, which has unfortunately begun moving towards eliminating the very source of its own study as a means of following suite with other material sciences in order to be accepted as a valid and credible field of science. Many other traditions become much more lucid with the soul being equivalent to “breath” or “air” (atmosphere in which life exists) in the Elements as the combination of Fire (will) and Water (feeling) as an invisible power that animates the material world through a form of Divine Inspiration, which comes through a Divine Voice as the “Word of God”, Spirit, or Holy Ghost. The essence that underlies our existence as the third person in the Trinity referred to as the Holy Ghost, is the Etheric Body (phantom-like hologram) as the psyche in form that provides the blueprint for organizing and producing the physical body as an exact replica or double.

For practical purposes we can create a “model” of the threefold nature of the soul-mind in order to gain an understanding of how it operates, which is necessary in order to consciously utilize it to create. While we commonly hear sayings like “we’re not a body having a soul experience, we’re a soul having a body experience”, many don’t know what this means in the most basic sense of actually experiencing it that way, or, more importantly, what it means to be a “soul within a body”. This is largely due to the fact that while we have a tendency to continuously separate them, the body is an aspect of and produced by the Higher Soul as it’s material equivalent that serves as a temple, vehicle, and instrument for the Higher Soul to create within the lower and denser material plane. In order to “work” (create) within a given plane, you have to create and exist within the conditions of that plane and work by way of the laws that govern it. The true soul exists on several planes above the physical plane, and has to undergo a transformative process as multiple stages of a step-down process of transduction in order to fully manifest as a body within the material plane. The highest level of the soul, which exists on an entirely different plane, is usually referred to as the Higher Self or God, and the “middle soul” which acts as a medium between the higher and the lower is the human soul of our individuality, and the lower soul is the etheric body that forms the physical body as a member of the collective unconscious of the animal kingdom.

The mind, without a physical body, doesn’t fully exist within the material plane as an actual entity capable of taking action and creating in a deliberate manner, and instead can only act to “influence” other minds within physical forms. In order to exist and create within the lower, denser realms, the Higher Soul of pure energy must fashion and inhabit or energetically bond with a body. It must take on a physical form that’s of the same nature and likeness (frequency) as it is. It acts to bond with the DNA that’s of the “same potential” as it is in terms of memory that will naturally produce certain types of experiences as the means of self-expression and self-creation. The lower soul of the etheric/physical body possesses the same “mind” of the middle (higher) soul in its dual components, and shares the same type of personality, identity, and karma as the genetic makeup and ancestral heredity (memories of our ancestors) of the body.

The Higher Soul, which is commonly called the “Higher Self”, never fully manifests within the material plane of form, but rather projects into it by taking on dual aspects necessary for producing both a visible and invisible component of the same thing. The mind first aligns with (resonates) and merges into (sympathetic induction) the DNA of an equivalent nature (same frequency) and kind, infusing it with the life-force energy that sequences and formulates it with a self-organizing mechanism inherent in vibration itself as a holographic model (etheric body) or paradigm (field of information organized into a thematic pattern).

The Lower Soul of the Subconscious Mind

The soul, like the DNA of the body is comprised of “memory” as the information that “in-forms it” and gives it the qualities, characteristics, temperament, disposition, and tendencies it naturally exhibits as normal perceptions and behaviors. The body’s DNA carries with it the memory of ancestors that are aligned with the same nature as the Higher Soul, which is what caused the soul to resonate with it. The Higher Soul forms energetic sympathy with the same “type of soul” in the lower realms. In the lower, material realm, the soul exists as the subconscious aspect of the mind that we share with all of the animal kingdom that has a sentient nature, and thinks and acts from a purely unconscious state as instinctual behaviors.

The lower soul of the body operates strictly out of memory of various sorts that provides it with the means for producing more of the same type of behaviors produced out of the same type of perceptions. For human beings this comes as a form of “tribal mentality” where we exist purely as a part of a greater whole of shared consciousness that has no individuality apart from the tribe. When living out of our lower nature, equivalent to that of an animal, we’re shaped purely through our conditioning and whatever perceptual models and behaviors we’ve been trained to by participating in them. When living out of a predominately unconscious state, we simply live out of the past as a means of perceiving and interpreting the present to mean the same thing as the past, and forming the same responses and behaviors, creating the future to be of the same nature as the past. In this sense we become identified with our body and lower nature, and fail to realize our true identity as a higher, divine being with creative abilities, and never learn how to use our conscious mind and ability to think, reason, and decide for ourselves. When this happens, we fall into a primary state of unawareness, become totally identified with our past conditioning and our physical existence, and lose contact with our Higher-Self as our true identity and ultimate potential, and we become lost in what is in reality an illusion of our own making.

When we come to realize instead that there is a higher aspect of ourselves, of our mind and soul, and learn to quit identifying with our past by continuing to live out the story we created out of it in the present as the means creating our reality and “sense of ourselves” as fully identified with our body and life circumstances, we can begin to realize that the body as the subconscious mind, is the “creative powerhouse” of the material plane and can be used skillfully to create in an intentional and deliberate manner. If we simply detach from our identification with it and the past, and observe how we can use our mind to create our reality, we can learn how to use it in a like manner to create in a deliberate and precise way. We can come to realize that we don’t have to keep dwelling in the past as a means of experiencing the present by playing the same group of memories over and over in our mind, and we begin consciously choosing “how we want to be” instead by recognizing our true nature. We can let go of our attachments to the past and our beliefs about things and remain fully aware instead, and in that awareness decide in every moment what we choose to create as a true expression of who we actually are. We can decide what kind of story we want to tell and what kind of person we’ll become as a result of that story.

Conscious Self-Creation and Destiny

In order to create anything in a conscious manner you have to first form a clear idea of what it is you’re creating. You have to do a form of “soul searching” where you begin to sense who you really are and who you want to become. We’re all born with a “story” imprinted within us as the dream for our life. This story requires certain aspects of us as qualities and characteristics to be actively employed in order to “tell” it by living it. The Higher Soul comes into the physical world in order to create itself through a developmental process of growth and self-expression. Whatever memories we’ve accumulated up to this point merely act as the foundation for continued growth. Some potential is active and fully expressing, while others remain dormant and are not being actively utilized or developed. Our dream as the story we’re imprinted with at the soul level (human/middle soul) that we came here to tell, requires us to transform what qualities and aspects of ourselves are active and which ones are passive.

Often, in order to obtain our dream and bring into active expression latent aspects of ourselves requires us to move into and resolve some of our greatest fears. These fears are what have prevented us from actively moving forward in our life pursuing our dream, and have kept us from becoming empowered in our own process of self-creation. All of our limitations that aren’t “actual” are the result of a fear that we’ve built a belief around as a story we tell ourselves about why we can’t do something. When we embody a sense of courage and employ a more neutral and open mindset, and we decide to move ahead in spite of our fears, the fears themselves steadily dissolve and we come to realize there was never really anything to fear. It was all something we made up in our imagination that was only acting to hold us back.

Creating your Ideal – your Soul’s Highest Potential

The first step to conscious self-creation by embodying your true identity as the creator of your own reality, is to develop a well-defined idea of yourself as your “ideal self”. This is where you create yourself according to your highest potential, and to be the best person you can be. Where you choose to actively employ your best traits, utilize your gifts and talents, and decide with detailed accuracy the type of story you’re going to tell by how you live your life. You create a model as a moral code of conduct that you hold yourself to in making all of your moment by moment decisions. You decide which qualities you want to develop into strengths and use to express and create, and you do so in an intentional manner as a daily practice. You constantly review this ideal, concentrate on it, imagine yourself being that way in different situations as a form of “mental rehearsal”, and actively practice “being that way” in a constant and consistent fashion. Like all creation which comes from habitual behaviors and perceptions, you have to practice something for an extended period of time until it becomes a natural part of you that’s automatic in nature.

Knowing that the subconscious mind works out of memory as an experience of reality as the basis for creating more realities that produce more of the same type of experiences, we know that the way to provide it with a new template for creating is to create the desired trait or reality as an “imagined experience”. It’s not about intellectually conceptualizing an idea in a theoretical and detached manner as a form of command or order, but rather creating it as an actual experience with full sensory enhancement and intense feelings, and with emotions that make it very desirable and compelling. You create it in your mind “as if it’s happening” and you’re “in the experience of it”, having it. You have to convert all ideas you want to manifest into the language of the subconscious, which is memory as an actual experience that has strong emotions connected to it.

We say in psychology that you can “only do what you can first imagine or see yourself doing”. This is because it’s the subconscious mind that does the “doing”. Anytime you want to create an experience of reality that doesn’t already exist, you have to first create it as an imaginary experience, feel and sense yourself “in it” doing it. You have to set the stage as the necessary conditions and possible set of circumstances in which it would naturally occur, and then create the experience just like you want it to go in your mind’s eye, while forming sensory awareness of it in very well-defined terms. Place yourself in the ideal situation then direct and develop it by asking . . . what are you seeing? Hearing? What are you feeling or touching? Smelling? Tasting? And what are you telling yourself about it? Create it in a way that stimulates and produces very positive emotions. Then dwell heavily in the feeling-emotional aspect of it, amplifying it to make it intense (calibrate yourself to that vibration). This sets the frequency as a thematic pattern in our mind that acts also to organize the outer environment into the same pattern. Whatever we vibrate we not only connect to in our environment, but we actually act to orchestrate and recompose our environment according to the same pattern as a larger theme necessary for the event to naturally take place.

The subconscious mind is motivated by pleasure and pain. It moves into and towards pleasure, seeking it out, and out of and away from pain, avoiding it at all costs. You have to always remove any sense of pain or conflict around an idea in order to use the subconscious to deliberately create it. If you associate pain of any kind to an idea, you’ll be acting to repel it instead of attracting it. As you imagine the idea and develop it in sensory terms while feeling very positive emotions because of the experience, play it over and over in your mind until you can recall it instantly in its complete form, just like an actual memory. Concentrate your attention on it in a redundant, daydreaming fashion just like you do other memories. Then create more imaginary experiences of the same idea, playing them over and over until they can be recollected in their whole-form instantly, and play it out in your mind in a habitual and automatic fashion like your normal memories do.

All realities as sensory experience formed into a memory, produce their own electromagnetic field as a vibratory frequency. All vibratory frequencies as an electromagnetic field has a self-organizing mechanism that organizes matter into patterns through a process of activating and deactivating certain properties, forming a new pattern, and through attraction and repulsion. This basic law of vibration works on all scales and levels existence, whether in making a single entity, scenario, or creating a greater reality. As we think by replaying memories, we keep ourselves tuned to the frequency of those thoughts, forming a gravitational field between us and the outer elements of the same type of reality. Our imagined thoughts as memories of some form become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Thoughts formed into ideas as possible realities are the creative power of the mind to shape matter. In this way the Higher Soul of the human (self-conscious) mind, instead of identifying itself “as” the lower mind, and creating unconsciously through a form of instinct and conditioning, can learn how to utilize the lower subconscious mind to create itself in an intentional and deliberate manner and impose a direction on its destiny by evolving itself to a higher level of consciousness.

Mastering your Will to Create and Transform

Many people don’t fully understand what we mean when we use the term “will”, and as a result they don’t know how to use it in a deliberate and powerful way to create. Will is always associated to choice, because anytime we’re actually using our will , it’s to move out of conditioning and automatic, habitual tendencies that we do naturally, and create in a new and more individual way instead. When we’re trained to belief systems and certain mind-sets as “group consciousness” of some form, we’re actually lending our will to others and allowing them to shape and determine us as a result. Our will isn’t our ability to “resist” things or not give in to passions, pleasure, desires, or cravings of some kind through an act of sheer strength and willpower, but rather our ability to decide on what we want to be and do, and use our imagination to form the correct “internal representation” (IR) of ideas that either make them repulsive and disgusting, or desirable and attractive. While we tend to think that things have power over us in the same sense that they’re dictating our experience and how we respond as a result, the fact is that we shape the outer world into an internal representation (IR) that we then use in place of the actual thing or activity as a way of experiencing it. As we think about something we’re associating other ideas with it, and using our “sensory system” to embellish it with sensory qualities that invoke emotional states. An idea that’s turned into an internal reality that serves to elicit strong emotions in response to it are how we’re using our will all the time to direct our own behavior and what we participate in by desiring and becoming one with it; as well as what we don’t because we find it unappealing for some reason. If we’ve made a decision to stop doing something, and we constantly struggle to resist it and create an experience of suffering because we’re abstaining from it, it’s because we haven’t learned how to use our higher mind to direct ourselves, and we’re using it incorrectly as a result. The body, which is what we also refer to as the subconscious mind, because it inhabits and operates it, is operated by memory, and forms all of our natural behaviors as repetitive patterns and daily rituals and tendencies. The subconscious “thinks” in pictures and is experiential in nature. This means we communicate with it and act to program it with a form of virtual memory by imagining ideas as an experience of them. Its primary motive is “self-preservation”, so all of its impulses as feeling emotional states are geared towards maintaining the status quo and habits engaged in on a routine basis. It’s primarily instinctual in nature and motivated by pleasure or pain. It moves deeper into and seeks out whatever it deems pleasurable, and moves away from or avoids whatever it deems painful. It forms, firmly establishes and faithfully maintains habits and addictions, and is nearly always craving and wanting something. All of its needs are physical and material in nature and it works and is driven by emotions, making it impulsive and urge oriented. When it doesn’t get what it “needs and desires” it causes pain and suffering through emotions and physical withdrawals, which is experienced as a form of death (no longer able to sustain itself through that activity). The subconscious mind is the creative aspect of the mind that’s capable of shaping and producing material realities, both inwardly and outwardly. It does this by turning a feeling or idea into a reality in the faculty of the imagination. Being memory oriented, it acts to create our memories from actual experiences, replaying them as a means of continuing to create by way of them, and as the means of being fed an idea as a form of “seeded thought” that it then fashions into a reality as a form of virtual memory. The imagined idea as an original creation is formed and appears in the imagination in exactly the same way as an actual memory does. This virtual memory as an internal representation of an idea operates in exactly the same way as an actual memory creating a kind of blueprint or template as an internal experience that forms the basis for the correlating external experiences of the same kind. This “virtual memory” is an image, scenario, or movie-like idea that’s translucent (like a reflection on glass) in nature (can be seen fully while looking at something else), and becomes our perceptual lens as a filtering mechanism that reorganizes the elements of our outer reality to match the theme and emotions of the inner one. The IR becomes a kind of template or map for structuring and navigating the outer experience. Because of this tendency to “perceive out of memory and IR’s”, we never directly see or experience things as they actually are (a part from us), but rather as we “remake them” through our perception of them. This perception based on or produced by an IR or memory, works through the same principles as value judgments and either makes something appear desirable, likeable, and pleasurable, or undesirable, despicable and unappealing, or disgusting somehow. When we decide and say we’re no longer going to do something, but we continue to form it in our mind as pleasurable and desirable, we struggle to resist it and continue to want it. We make giving it up a painful experience and the longing for it never goes away, so we’re always “tempted” by it. If instead, realizing how the mind works, we change the IR we’re forming into something that’s disgusting, repulsive, and painful, then we have no trouble resisting it, and thoughts of it eventually go away altogether. When we no longer think about it, it’s no longer a part of us and it exercises no control over us. This is the accurate use of the will – to make a decision to take control of what’s normally and unconscious process, and inject instead the idea we want to create in its place – then change the IR of what we’re stopping or looking to transform, while embellishing and enhancing the IR of the new idea we’re replacing it with. Internal Representations, like reality itself are formed through sensory attributes, qualities, and characteristics that either makes it up-close, in vivid color and compelling, or far-away, black and white and neutral. If we make something up-close, immediate, full Technicolor, and create it as a full sensory experience of what you’re seeing, hearing, feeling, touching, smelling or tasting, and what you’re telling yourself about the experience that gives it meaning, and you create it with very positive emotions that make it pleasurable and beautiful, you create a strong desire for it. This gives your subconscious a very compelling “memory” that it steadily move towards and into, while seeking it out and connecting with that same idea in your immediate outer environment. If you then neutralize the current idea that you want to eliminate by turning it to black and white, pushing it out far into the distance so it seems far away, and assign negative sensory qualities and emotions to it, the subconscious, being given a more desirable alternative forgets about it, moves away from or avoids the old, eventually disconnecting from it all together outwardly, and moves instead into the fulfillment of the new and pleasurable idea. The will is the active component of the conscious mind that can make new decisions that are not a part of its formative conditioning and habitual in nature, and can rule out one idea while replacing it with another. It impregnates the subconscious imagination with the seed as a unique idea that is then grown and formed into maturity in the imagination and manifests as an experience that bridges the inner with the outer, both of which are the creation of the subconscious mind as its offspring. The subconscious mind, when not being fed by its own personal will as an intentional idea for creating, absorbs instead the will of others as mental and emotional impressions or suggestions going on around it that it uses to generate thoughts in the imagination, and not only creates the individual (mind and body) according to those thoughts, but also creates the outer experience of those thoughts as its reality. Anytime we passively take in an idea from outside of us (thoughts of another), and we form them into IR’s as a virtual reality, and make them our own by continuing to think about them, we’re choosing (unconsciously) to manifest and give life to the will of others through us. We’re literally lending our will to them, allowing them to determine us and the reality we experience as the perceptual lens we look through. The conscious, willful mind, is what’s traditionally called the “gate-keeper”, and is the aspect of the self that decides what’s allowed into the subconscious and what’s not. It analyzes, intuits, and evaluates the information to decide whether it’s true or not, valuable in some way, or would be beneficial as a means of upgrading the mental paradigm by incorporating it. It’s the “editor” that filters information through reasoning. It’s the part of our selves that’s always actively choosing even when we’re unaware (no choice is a choice) and decides what stays and what goes. It’s the aspect of the mind that has the ability to intentionally self-create through the active transformation of old ideas into new ones. Mental, Emotional, and Physical Purification – The Prerequisite for Transcending to Higher Forms of Consciousness

The definition for the purification process is to remove toxins, pollutants, and contaminates, returning it to an original state of purity. It’s the process of making something spiritually or ceremonially “clean”. Free from anything that debases, pollutes, adulterates, degrades, or contaminates it. Clean of all “foreign” elements. In the spiritual sense it means freeing the soul from sin and guilt, which means errors in perception and actions, and doing things that you feel or know are wrong or bad somehow. It comes as a form of restoration of grace that redeems our soul and promotes our salvation. It’s removing from our mind and body anything that defiles, desecrates and makes us profane, that violates and corrupts, or that perverts and tarnishes us in some way. It’s cleansing ourselves of all forms of negativity that act to reduce us somehow in terms of our morality. It comes through our ability to resist temptation of physical pleasures and impulses that will cause us to “acquire” qualities that will digress us to a lower, animal-like nature.

The goal of undergoing the process of self-purification is to produce a state fit for a specific purpose that requires us to meet certain standards. The higher soul, which is non-material and eternal in nature, is “unchangeable” because it’s pure in nature and isn’t influenced or affected by material elements. It doesn’t blend or mix with anything of a different nature. The human soul and the body form a relationship as an amalgamation where they blend with each other and take on the same state, qualities, characteristics, and tendencies. By removing all of the negative influences that have served to mask our true nature and corrupt our consciousness with passions and desires that render us “animal-like” (unconscious), we return to our essential self as being “in this world but not of it”. We can free ourselves of all material passions and addictions and the illusions they create that keep us in a constant state of bondage as longing for meaningful experiences, craving physical pleasure, wanting material possessions, and suffering when our cravings aren’t met somehow.

In order to understand the true process of self-purification from a soul level, we have to look objectively at the nature of desire, lust, connection and the power of the magnetic forces of the material plane that we experience as emotion. Whatever we feel a connection to, we have a desire and longing for. We think about it naturally and on a regular bases, gravitate towards it by always seeking it out somehow, wondering about it, and dream about what it will be like when we unite with it, experience it and become “one with it”. All of which tunes us to the same vibration and “magnetizes us” to it. Whatever image or idea we hold in the mind as a mental impression that we develop into a vivid reality as a possible experience of it, we align ourselves with and alter our vibration to match it. This is the most basic law, the Law of Vibration as resonating with something that we unconsciously seek out and “enter into” as the experience of it from “within it”, that acts to modify our mind through the incorporation of it as a memory of some form, causing us to vibrate at the same frequency. We’re always calibrating ourselves vibrationally by what we think about and imagine as a reality, and what we actively participate in.

Whatever we willingly become one with in mind and emotion (chemically), we become the “same as” in terms of frequency, and it becomes a part of our normal thoughts and what we associate with that keeps our body tuned to the emotional chemistry of the thought, which forms a gravitational field between the imaginary idea within us and that same idea outside of us. As we think and imagine, we feel and sense, and we provide our subconscious mind with a pattern as a virtual memory to use to not only produce our physical expression and behaviors to be of the same nature, but to draw and direct our attention to that same idea all around us. It becomes like a beacon of sorts that stands out when we naturally scan the environment by making it take on an enhanced quality that seems more vivid and intimate than other ideas that we don’t think about or entertain much. In this way, through the very nature of our thoughts and what we choose to “let into” our mind and entertain by contemplating and give our attention to on a regular basis, we align ourselves to that idea as a mental and emotional state, and it becomes a part of “us” as an inherent and regular part of our reality.

Once a compelling mental image or strong emotional event is allowed to penetrate and inhabit our mind, it can become a permanent thought as our ability to reference it in association with something else. It becomes a memory that populates our thoughts with more of the same type of thoughts. As we encounter other ideas of a similar nature, it pops into our mind and plays out as a means of creating our experience of the present based on how we associate it with the past. While there are many things we can’t help seeing, witnessing, or becoming a part of because they’re a natural part of our immediate and everyday reality, we can and do make constant conscious decisions as to what we intentionally or willingly engage in and give our concentrated attention to, and “let into our mind”, and allowing it to “take hold” by continuing to think about it. As we engage in the reality of the thought, forming it into an experience, we integrate it into our mind as a virtual memory that’s used just like a real memory to create us to be of the same nature, and it becomes a possibility for an actual experience. We “tune ourselves” to it through the very act of thinking about it as a sensory reality that we’re in the process of experiencing.

Thought and emotion are always intimately connected as one produces and gives rise to the other and are of the “same nature”, because thought produces and idea as an imagined reality experienced in sensory terms as feeling sensations that produce emotion as the physical chemistry of that reality. Emotions, being of a material nature, produced by sensory stimulus that’s produced in response to thought, is the “language of the material world” that’s always being communicated through a natural form of energetic transmission that flows freely through the atmosphere (astral plane) in which our body acts as a receiver for. Just as thought provokes the emotion associated to the thought in the individual mind, emotion also provokes thought that produces the reality of the emotion in the imagination. Emotions exist as more of an “archetypal theme” designed to produce automatic, unconscious behaviors, and are what drive the instinctual plane of the animal kingdom, of which our body is a kin to.

All emotion serves to automatically produce certain types of reality by first altering the chemistry of our body through energetic stimulus that modifies our “state of mind” (energy field) accordingly through resonance, and utilizes our will by controlling our thoughts to produce the “type of reality” that serves to naturally express and produce more of the same emotion. So while the thoughts themselves as an imagined reality may vary from individual to individual, all being stimulated with the same emotion, the type of reality as a “theme” and the behavior it automatically produces will be the same (very similar). Emotions, when left unchecked, render us unconscious because they take control of our physiology and run our mind, controlling and determining how we perceive and behave, and what type of dynamics we naturally engage in.

We are literally being “given our thoughts” as mental impressions by other people that we communicate with, and various forms of media that bombard us with constant ideas as videos, movies, advertisements, propaganda, articles, sayings, pictures, music, and so on, much of which we readily engage in while in a passive state of non-resistance (being entertained by it), or through sensationalism of some form being used as an emotional hook by how it’s presented, that we feel magnetically drawn to, or have simply been trained to give our mind over to anything that’s out there vying for our attention. The whole quest of culture and society is to take control of our will by introducing information as sensationalized ideas that we willingly take in an incorporate into our mental paradigm and therefore act as a natural channel for it by participating in it in a fully cooperative manner. Anything that becomes a part of our everyday reality we accept as normal, build it into our experience in a way that makes sense to us, and fail almost completely to recognize as a program that we’re being given and systematically conditioned to.

Whatever we take in from our environment unsuspectingly and without careful analysis or discretion, or any form of actual awareness as to what it is, what it means, and how will affect us, conditions us as a primary form of hypnosis. We’re literally given our thoughts in a fully interpreted manner as the visual reality and how we’re supposed to feel about that reality. We’re told what that reality will mean in terms of benefiting from it if we accept it as a natural part of us and lend our will to participate in creating by “becoming it” in mind, emotion, and actions. We’re always “becoming” by what we combine ourselves with, associate with, and create ourselves by way of. As we think, imagine, feel, emote, and do, we sense ourselves “as”, and it shapes us by way of becoming the same as it.

To purify the mind and emotions is to become aware of this natural process and begin working by way of it in a conscious and intentional manner. This means to first become aware of your own habits, what you expose yourself to and participate in without full awareness of what you’re doing as more of a habit or addiction, what relationships you maintain and how they influence and affect you, and what environments and situations you place yourself in as a part of your daily routine. It comes through an awareness of how you’re acting “on yourself” to willingly condition yourself to a form of mass brainwashing as social entertainment and information delivered through media that all of society is unknowingly and eagerly participating in. It begins by choosing to wake up and become aware, then exercising your creative power to consciously choose and willingly act out those choices to begin directing and determining your own mind and behaviors.

The minute you choose to take back censorship of your own mind and body, no longer created by others and society, and immediate question arises, and that is “who am I?” Who and how do I want to be? If I’m going to intentionally create myself and govern my own thoughts and emotions, what kind of thoughts and emotions do I want to have? It brings us face-to-face with the reality of who we are and the tremendous responsibility of consciously creating ourselves. Something many go their whole life without ever realizing. To choose to be conscious and fully aware in your everyday life as the initial step into the process of self-creation brings with it a great deal of responsibility and accountability, and can be very disruptive to your current life. Once we begin becoming fully conscious in what was previously unconscious processes that were forming us by the will of others, and we begin looking at habitual behaviors, routines, and activities that we engage in without direct awareness of what was actually happening, we can hit a moment of crisis that can seem overwhelming because we realize we’ve been living our entire life out of a conditioned state that lacked any actual form of “self-awareness”. We often don’t know where to begin because we see so many things that need to be changed that no longer engaging in them impulsively and sporadically would cause mayhem.

This is because the way we change behaviors and activities isn’t necessarily by addressing and working with the behaviors themselves, but rather by recognizing and working directly with the “state of mind” out of which they naturally arise as expressions and natural behaviors. All thought and emotion that form the basis and motivate our behavior arise naturally out of our state of mind as our paradigm, or attitude, beliefs, values, preferences, decisions, memories, and so on, as a form of by product. By changing our values and beliefs, we naturally change all of our behaviors that result from them. We have to change how we look at something and how we interpret it through a new awareness of it in order to change how we naturally exist in relationship with it and how we interact with it as a result. Once we change our perception of something, all behaviors that resulted from it change automatically. When we habitually engage in the activities that resulted from the old perception, we become very aware of it and it no longer captivates us, we can’t stay with it, or, it no longer seems interesting. Its magnetic quality subsides and dissipates, and we forget about it.

Once we choose to be aware in areas and ways we were previously unaware, or had a different awareness around, we can begin consciously choosing what we expose ourselves to and what we don’t. We can decide what activities to participate in and which ones not to. Which relationships we continue to maintain, and which ones we let go of. We can provide ourselves with new information of a desirable nature that will grow us in ways we want to be grown. We can begin participating in new kinds of activities that bring us new kinds of experiences that are more in alignment with who we are and what we stand for. We can disconnect from the mindless activities of society that’s asleep and being given their thoughts and emotions, and we can begin thinking for ourselves and engaging in a form of constant study that causes us to think in new ways, imagine new possibilities, and feel in ways that will foster our growth to a positive means.

Perhaps the most important thing that waking up within your own life and becoming aware brings about is becoming aware of your “self”. Who you are as a soul, and learning how to take responsibility for you own creation through intentional use of your ability to realize, think for yourself, decide, and act out your decisions creating your reality, experiences, and self by way of your ability to think in original ways. By being able to consciously direct ourselves out of our conditioned and habitual mindset, we can take back control of our own destiny and guide ourselves down a deliberate evolutionary path of self-discovery and self-creation.

Mastering Your Will to Accomplish Goals – Thought, Desire, Imagination, and Action

Harmony and Alignment is the Key to Creating

Many times we set goals for ourselves as a means of self-development, lifestyle change, or improving our life conditions, where we start off with a feeling of determination and will power, only to have it fade, weaken, and give up relatively early in the process. We don’t seem to have the ability to stick with something long enough to accomplish it, or we start doubting it, wavering, and changing our mind as soon as it becomes difficult. Then we can feel disappointed in ourselves, let down, and realize weaknesses of various sorts that become discouraging, often preventing us from trying again. We simply give into the feeling of being unable to create and be empowered in our own lives, and live a mundane and unfulfilling existence, or succumb to the very things we have a relentless desire or moral need to overcome. The more we try and fail the more discouraged we become, until at some point, we quit trying.

The main reason we think we’re making decisions for ourselves that we can’t willfully complete or produce, is because we fail to align all aspects of ourselves to the same goal. In order for us to manifest a new behavior, character trait, or reality of any kind, requires the alignment of the conscious (the one making the decision) with the subconscious (the one that produces it as a reality) mind. This alignment of the two material minds is synonymous with aligning the two hemispheres of the brain, because the mind operates the brain, and the entire system through the brain. The conscious mind is the aspect of the mind that possesses the ability to choose as a change of some sort, and is the intellectual “talking and dialoguing” mind, while the subconscious is the emotional, feeling and experiential aspect of the mind. Thought and emotion are always in-sync, and whatever emotion is married to the thought, becomes the formative motive for shaping the thought as a material manifestation.

Goals, and what seems like choices we make that are never fulfilled, is usually because the wrong emotion is associated to the thought as a reality. The subconscious only motivation is self-preservation and maintaining the status quo through habitual states. It’s habitual (automatic) in nature and operates out of memory as established patterns. In order to manifest something new or to change a habit, we have to work directly with the subconscious mind by programming it with the “reality of the desired goal”, while convincing it of how it will benefit in emotional terms.

Emotion is produced basically in two ways, one is as a response to our own thoughts, or from a charge we absorb that’s being projected from others or from our environment. Emotions are the primary energy of the astral plane, which can be equated to the atmosphere around us (of the Earth) that acts as an energetic medium that not only connects us to everyone else, but also serves as the means of transmitting emotional charges as a basic form of communication as “vibratory states”. Emotions of the physical plane are absorbed into the body, stimulating the chakra system (energy matrix of the astral body) that in turn stimulates our endocrine glands, which produce hormones that are of the same frequency (nature) as the stimulation, and alters our body chemistry and state to match or be the equivalent of it. This is how, from an evolutionary perspective, we stay in-tuned too and at the same energetic vibration of the environment in which we live, interact, and survive.

Anytime there’s a conflict of interest between the two minds, they act to sabotage and counteract each other. We have not only to bring the conscious and subconscious minds into harmony with each other, but also match the inner vision of the goal with our life conditions, circumstances, and associations. You don’t ever want to set yourself up so that in order to achieve the goal you have to constantly resist something that’s conflicting, or expose yourself constantly to what prevents it or steadily moves you away from it. All goals need to be of a personal nature and can’t require somebody else to achieve. The only real goals in life are those that pertain to developing yourself in some way through use of your creative power to “choose and willfully produce” desired experiences of reality that give you a certain type of “feeling”. Feelings are the language of the soul, and the desired result of all material goals.

The only way we create in life is by operating according to law, not by working against law. Law states that’s the feminine and masculine must always be in alignment and harmonious in order to pro-create or produce a material reality as its expression or offspring. We have to associate the proper emotion to our thought as an experience of the reality we wish to create, and then match the outer environment and what we connect and associate with, with the desired inner reality. We have to associate with whatever and whomever is of the same mind-set and reality as that which we wish to create. When we connect and associate with what’s of the same nature as our desired creation, it’s supported, strengthened, and amplified. When we continue to exist in relation with what’s not of the same nature (frequency), that contradicts or undermines it, we’re constantly tempted, filled with self-doubt, feel weakened and ultimately lose our focus.

Whatever we associate with we become like. Like always produces more of what’s like itself. This is the Law of Vibration. We only resonate (serve to vibrate and bring into an active state) with “shared qualities and characteristics” of that which we exist in relationship with. If our desired goal for manifesting change is not a natural part of the relationships we form with others and our life circumstances, nothing is serving to activate or vibrate us with that same idea as qualities and characteristics, and instead is constantly activating contradictory ideas in us. To manifest ourselves and reality, we have to create a completely harmonious and synchronized process.

As we make goals for desired change, we need to check those goals with all areas of our life to make sure they’re compatible and can be harmoniously integrated, producing beneficial effects in all areas of our life. If a desired change in one area contradicts another, or will cause problems in another area, they act to counterbalance each other, and a form of debate takes place as a negotiation and internal conflict. Anytime we’re experiencing internal conflict around an idea it acts to sabotage and contradict it. So any goal as a desired manifestation should be thought out in terms of how it’ll affect relationships, lifestyle, spiritual practices, health, economics, career, and so on. The idea has to be integrated into your life in a congruent and beneficial manner, or you’ll have to decide if the goal is more important to achieve than what you’ll have to give up or let go of in order to accomplish it.

There has to be a clear realization of the reality of what you’re achieving in terms of your entire life, and only when there’s congruence and continuity should you continue. Sometimes the goal simply needs to be modified to accommodate other areas in an agreeable way. All internal conflict has to be resolved around the goal, and all areas brought into alignment in terms of how achieving the goal will affect them. The benefits that will come through achieving the goal have to be well defined and infused with positive emotions that will make it very compelling and desirable. The most natural form of “willpower” lies in our “desire” for something and our ability to imagine it as an actual experience.

Once a life ecology check has been made, and all internal conflict resolved, the goal has to be concentrated on and formed in the imagination as an actual experience of the reality it implies. It has to be formed in sensory terms – what are you seeing, hearing, feeling, touching, smelling and tasting, and what are you telling yourself about it that makes it mean something – and you have to play it out as a scenario that’s exactly as you want it, while associating very positive and compelling (magnetic) emotions to it. You have to form it as an internal representation that’s up close, in full vivid color, imbued with strong sensations, and create your experience of it as being very fulfilling and satisfying, and really tune into the “feeling” it gives you. All goals are ultimately to acquire a feeling of some kind, and the feeling will act as your barometer and navigation system. The feeling of an experience is its vibration.

Imagine the desired reality in as many different scenario’s and circumstances as possible, developing each one until you get it just like you want it. Then, when you’ve perfected it, play it over and over, enhancing the sensory experience and emotion it brings, while telling yourself a story about it that infuses it with meaning. As we form internal dialogue around it while imaging it in vivid terms, feeling it deeply as an actual experience, we seat it into the subconscious mind as a form of virtual memory. This memory as a sensory reality forms a vibratory frequency as a pattern that the subconscious uses to produce the emotional state (body chemistry) and behavior (actions) necessary, while connecting to that same idea as a frequency in the environment around us, magnetizing us to it.

The subconscious acts to connect us with the reality of our thoughts in everyone and everything around us, while also producing all the behavior and actions necessary for initiating, interacting, and causing it. The subconscious mind produces all of our natural behaviors out of various forms of memory. To manifest an idea as a new habit, behavior, way of being, or experience of reality, the goal must be created as a form of memory, that’s very emotionally compelling. Positive emotions attract and move into, while negative emotions repel and move away from. The subconscious is motivated by emotions associated with pleasure and pain. The feelings and emotions associated to an idea, determine whether or not we are unconsciously (without direct awareness) moving into and towards our dreams, or away from and avoiding our dreams. Anytime we’re feeling apprehension, fear, anxiety, dread, loss, sacrifice, or pain around an idea, even one we say we want, we are actually acting “on ourselves” to prevent it. The subconscious mind always moves towards pleasure and away from pain. To move naturally into an idea you have to associate pleasure (positive feelings) with it, and hold it in positive regard.

If we set a goal that represents loss of any kind, especially if what we’re losing is valuable to us, or brings pain and grief of any kind, we have to come to terms with it, and decide to give it up in favor of the goal. Otherwise, again, they’ll act to contradict and sabotage each other. What tends to manifest and become naturally established is what exists in a harmonious fashion with both the conscious and subconscious, with the subconscious typically dominating the conscious mind. If it comes down to feelings and emotions contrasting thought, emotions nearly always win, not only because of the strong motive quality, but also because behavior is emotionally driven and are what connect us to everything else in the material plane of our natural environment.

The conscious mind has the ability to direct and program the subconscious mind through choice and will, but only if it knows how to work intuitively with the subconscious, and convert ideas into emotional realities as vibratory states. We have to speak to the subconscious in its own language, as experiences with full sensory enhancement that naturally elicits positive emotions in response to it. Every idea is developed and actualized based on the emotion associated with it. Emotion comes as the result of experience, and is what shapes the experience through the thoughts produced as the story we tell ourselves about it that interprets it to mean something. An idea as an emotional experience and internal dialogue (interpretation as a story) forms a memory. Memory is the language of the subconscious, and is what it uses to create our experience of both the inner and outer world as a correspondence to each other.

The way to form a goal as a manifestation of a new form of reality, is to decide on the change you desire to bring about, make sure that it only requires you to achieve, run an ecology check with all other areas of your life to ensure its congruent, modifying it as necessary to ensure it will produce desired results. Then imagine it as if it’s already real, forming an internal representation of it as up close, in vivid color with strong sensations (feelings), and in a way that makes it emotionally pleasurable and compelling. Then developing the idea until you get it just the way you want it in terms of how it makes you feel, then replay that idea over and over in your imagination, seating it in your subconscious as an actual memory. Once established and utilized by the subconscious as a memory, it provides a template as a pattern for creating it as an outer reality or experience of reality. All realities are created using the elements available in the immediate environment, and though it may not look like you thought it would or come about tin the way you thought it would, you’ll know it by the feeling it gives you. The feeling is the key to recognition.

As we think and feel, we tune ourselves to the vibration of that reality, and we begin resonating with it in everything around us.  We naturally connect and form a gravitational field with that same reality as a “type of experience” in our outer environment. The memory as an internal representation provides a kind of “road map” as a steady chain of association that provides “action steps”. We begin noticing things through a form of coincidence, where things stand out that connects us to it, drawing it to us and us to it, as a form of synchronicity. Whatever memories we associate ourselves with, we experience in our outer reality. This is the creative power of the mind that we’re using all the time without realizing it. We create our experience of reality based on our memories. Memories are formed from how we interpret the emotional events of our life that we then continue to think about and replay over and over, creating more of the same type of experiences. Anytime we think about something, we’re conditioning ourselves with those thoughts, and creating more of the same type of experiences. All emotional thought is a form of “request” to the Universe that says, “give me more of this”.

To create the future, create it as a preview of what’s to come. Our memories of the past create more of the same type of experiences in the present, which becomes the basis for the future. Our subconscious programming becomes our reality. By learning how to program our own mind with desired experiences, we learn how to literally manifest our reality at will, and shape ourselves by way of those realities. Our ability to choose (intentionally create) and the will (desire and imagination) is our soul’s ability to create reality and itself by way of that reality. It’s our mind that produces our experience of reality. As we think, feel, and imagine . . . . we become, and we reside in that world!

The Law of Polarity – The Relationship between Higher (Spirit) and Lower (Material) Planes

The idea of higher and lower planes are multiple aspects that exist in a unified state and operate as what appears to be a single entity. All unified states exist in a primary state of polarity as what we traditionally call electro-magnetic, masculine-feminine, yin-yang, inner-outer, visible-invisible, upper-lower, and so on. Polar opposites of the same thing that form as extremes that never meet or touch, yet are held together in a unified manner. Electromagnetism, for example, forms a natural ‘spiral’ as two forces that simultaneously attract and repel, never actually touch or meet, yet act together to form equilibrium as a stabilized field that’s in constant motion. The most fundamental nature of matter, is comprised of particles ‘held together’ and revolving around an oppositely charged center by ‘invisible forces’. An atom is as much, if not more invisible as visible. The visible is always structured into patterns and held together in a unified manner by the invisible aspects of the same vibratory frequencies. Matter and spirit are opposites of the same thing, existing at different densities and on different planes or dimensions. Matter is the passive (feminine) aspect of spirit, which is the active force that animates and vibrates matter with qualities that form characteristics, which together, produce a unique personality with natural behaviors. The mind is the invisible consciousness that accompanies the body and gives it “life”. Without the mind, the body would die and disintegrate, no longer held together and animated in an active state.

 

The mind itself, synonymous with the soul, divides and becomes polar when entering into the “lower physical plane”, as what we call the subconscious and self-conscious aspects of the individual mind. The subconscious is what gives life to the body by systematically running all biological processes of the body in an automated fashion, in which the self-conscious is almost entirely unaware of. Our body functions perfectly without any thought process or need to direct and control it on our part. Likewise, the conscious mind lives outside of the body for the most part, and is nearly always busy thinking about stuff that has nothing to do with the body, outside of how it uses the body to create an image of itself by associating and identifying with the body. The conscious mind has the ability to directly influence the subconscious mind, and is constantly doing so just through the nature of its thinking, but seldom does so with any awareness or intention, and instead, we have a tendency to allow the subconscious to run our thoughts and create all of our life experiences out of memories of the past as an automated feature of the subconscious.

The subconscious mind of the body, when in an active state, controls the conscious mind which resumes a passive state, and simply ‘thinks’ in an automated fashion by repeating patterns as memories of some form. Likewise, when the conscious mind is in an active and therefore creative state, the body resumes a passive mode and acts as the vehicle for thought by bringing it into expression through correlating activity and behaviors. Whichever aspect of the self is active, the other one acts as its passive component. They’re never both active at the same time, and in an ideal situation, switch back and forth based on what needs to be utilized at any given moment.

 

The mind as the soul or invisible double and companion to the body, when active and dominant, is creative in nature. The body, when active, rendering the soul passive, lacks creativity in the most fundamental sense, and is simply a receptor for thought, and instead of creating in new and novel ways, acts out of memory as existing patterns or thematic ideas that are repeated producing the same “type of experiences” over and over, altered only by how they’re adapted to unique situations and circumstances. When we reside in body-consciousness as our general frame of reference, we are unconscious in the most basic sense of the word, and “create” out of past memories and conditioned tendencies. While in body-consciousness, we act only to “take in” the thoughts and ideas of others, while accepting them as our own, and whatever we’ve been taught, or by observing what’s being demonstrated in our external environment, all of which act to “program us” (condition) according to the mindset and type of thoughts. We become a conduit for other people’s will, and we’re shaped and determined by outside forces. Because of this we fail to become a unique individual – the creative aspect of your own mind – and instead become “like others”. We fail almost entirely to “think for ourselves” and act instead as a mindless vessel for others.

If, however, we choose to step into and embrace our ability to self-create by empowering our own mind, we have to learn how to keep the body in a passive state, which is what activates our higher, creative mind. This process is what meditation is built on, and provides us with the process for doing it. In meditation, we start by relaxing the body and withdrawing consciousness from it. In a fully relaxed state, we lose direct awareness of our body, and our bodily activity which primarily result from emotions, anxiety and stress, are no longer prompting and controlling our thoughts, and we enter into a calm inner space, that becomes a receptor for the thoughts and ideas of the higher mind which exists independent of the body. In a passive and receptive state, we’re able to witness our own mind as a kind of neutral and objective knowledge that’s not personal in any way, and does not stem from our own mental paradigm as the regurgitation of past ideas in an attempt to generate new ideas. It comes as brand new knowledge, which, when allowed to enter fully, take hold, and begin unfolding, reveals to us a whole new awareness around commonly held ideas. We clearly ‘see things’ that we were never able to see before. Because we see new ideas from an inner perspective, and use them to ‘look through’ in order to comprehend the outer world or previously held ideas as beliefs, we are transformed by them. Once we become aware, we’re always aware. Once an awakening of some form takes place, we never go back to sleep in regards to it. We see it in terms of how it operates in the most ordinary sense as part of our everyday life, and we begin seeing things in a whole new light.

 

This higher knowledge as brand new ideas come to us through an inward experience that “re-informs” our subconscious mind which accepts it as an actual experience, because of course it is, and it becomes an inherent part of our psychological make-up and serves to transform our mental and emotional paradigm, and how and what we perceive as going on in the outer world. It’s only through a paradigm shift as an inner realization that brings new forms of awareness that our outer life changes accordingly. The mind acts to re-inform the body, not through intellectual theories that are “self-generated” or an extension of learned behavior, but rather through knowledge that’s received through a direct inner experience as a “living reality”. Theory only provides the basis for experimentation to produce a reality as an experience of it. The lower mind is only capable of “taking in” (acting as a vehicle for) information from external sources, and attempting to conceptualize them as an actual reality in order to “prove them”. Yet, all true knowledge comes from internal sources as a reality that’s comprehended through a direct and immediate internal experience of it.

The confusion comes from the inherent paradox and belief that our body is our true self or concrete mind, out of which we seemingly generate “unique thoughts”, when in fact, we’re simply using the thoughts we’ve acted as a receptor for from other people and the conditioning of our formative years and primary education. When in our lower, bodily (concrete) mind, we’re always borrowing and accepting thoughts from other people. The lower mind doesn’t have the “creative faculty”, only the higher mind does that accompanies the lower mind. When in our higher mind, our body acts as a physical conduit, and is still “receiving ideas” from “another source”, which comes, not from the outer external plane, but from an internal, invisible plane. We don’t have to use our mind to formulate them into a conceptualized reality by imagining them. When acquiring knowledge from a higher, non-personal source, it’s given to us (conceived) as a whole reality or idea, and no effort on our part is required. In fact, effort on our part only serves to corrupt and distort it. All we have to do is “witness” it internally (being a passive receptor) as it reveals itself to us. We learn by watching it in our minds eye. Though it’s not tangible in outer sensory terms, it has a heightened sense of “realness” through the inner senses of feeling, emotion, and beauty that are used instead to perceive it. We have an intimate and pronounced experience of it, and because of this, we “know it”. By acting as a neutral receiver for it internally, we become one with it, and know it through ourselves. It inspires a sense of awe, wonder, and mystery, and we feel a deep love for it. The love we feel in response to it anchors and magnifies it, and creates a deep inner longing for more . . . .

Vibration, Mental Projection, and Creating New Versions of Reality

The Vibratory Frequency of the Mind exists as a Paradigm that Shapes our Experience of Reality

The state of mind that we exist in as a form of mood, determines our attitude, perspective, and the emotional theme we use as a filtering system in forming our fundamental perceptions, experiences, and behaviors. Our mood as a quality of consciousness, which we act the channel for, is our vibratory frequency, and is what “organizes” everything outside of us to match the theme being played out internally through our imagined thoughts. Whatever state we’re in determines what we focus on and give our attention to, what memories we access and run through our mind as a means of interpreting the present to mean the same thing as the past, conforming it to our theme, and how we act and behave as a result. Our state-of-mind as our vibratory frequency has a self-organizing mechanism inherent in it that aligns the entire mind-body system to express in a consistent and congruent fashion. How we’re feeling produces how we’re being and what we’re doing.

Our mood “is” our vibratory frequency or quality of consciousness that’s constantly being projected and transmitted out into the space around us, and interacting with that same quality of consciousness in everything else by resonating with it. Our mood or emotional state emanates from within, influencing others around us with the same type of feeling. At the same time, we’re drawing more of the same vibration or feeling energy back to us, absorbing it, being nourished and strengthened by it, multiplying and increasing it, while acquiring and accumulating it. Our vibratory frequency as our state-of-mind is the entire energy field that surrounds, envelops, and operates through our body. We literally “look through” our mind as a mental lens or filtering system, and notice in others and the environment only what’s of the same nature (quality), and can be readily used to create the reality of that mood, which makes it “provable” by appearing to be factual and objective. Because we only see and experience the reality of our mood, which validates, strengthens, and supports it as being “real”, we don’t realize that we’re actually creating it with our mind, and that we can change our experience of reality by simply changing our mind.

Our mind is an electromagnetic field which surrounds and expands several feet from our body, while transmitting its frequency and acting to stimulate the same frequency in everyone and everything around us, bringing out and making active the equivalent qualities in them through our influence, and they begin cooperatively participating in playing out the same “type” of reality as a behavioral dynamic that expresses the same feeling state. As we perceive through our mental filters, we project or superimpose our mind as a pattern of qualities or “thematic model” onto others (look through it), and see in them the same thing that’s in us. Not necessarily in the same position or role in a “joint theme”, but as the complementary role necessary to play out the shared theme as a relationship (dynamic interaction). Projection, as what we “see in others” that causes a reaction of some sort in us in relation to them, is identifying the complementary opposite of the same dynamic which can be acted out together to create a joint experience of the same nature. What we think about somebody else, and react to, is the same quality we ourselves possess, which is why we’re having a reaction or feel a strong emotional response to them. Our behavior towards others is the perfect stimulus for bringing out in them what we believe is there to bring out.

Our mental and emotional projections are stimulating at the invisible, subtle level, and are being received and felt by everyone around us all the time. Matter, as the organic substance of life that acts as a receptor for consciousness and is structured into a material bodies that represent the qualities of consciousness inhabiting it, at the molecular level, interacts with the mind (our own and others) and reformulates the appearance matter takes on accordingly. This is readily demonstrated in the “placebo effect” which works solely off the power of belief and our ability to direct and manipulate the biological world to produce the reality or effect of our belief. This is further demonstrated in what’s called “double blind tests” in which both people involved (doctor and patient) believe the same thing (that the placebo works), which increases its effectiveness. This is because the disbelief of one person (say, the administering doctor) is demonstrated and communicated through their subtle behaviors in stating what the placebo will do (is not convincing), and produces a subtle effect on the unconscious mind of the other person, introducing doubt, and thereby alters the overall outcome. Whenever an experience is being conducted involving the mind, it’s important that all people involved in the process are of an open mind or share the same belief, because at the invisible, energetic level of the mind, they will have a direct effect on the overall outcome.

What we believe, and therefore perceive about others reveals to us what dynamic we’re programmed with as a vibratory frequency. It shows us what type of relationships we are prone to, and always acting at the subconscious level to attract and co-create. As children we’re imprinted with a dynamic as a behavioral theme. This imprinting is produced and seated through intense emotional interactions and events of some sort that have a strong impact on us. Because it’s a dynamic we “live within”, we’re trained to naturally perceive and play a role in the same dynamic. We form numerous responses to the behaviors being demonstrated by others, and because we form the same perceptions through the mental paradigm that forms because of the interaction, we naturally produce the behaviors that stimulate the pattern itself through the memory we acquire because of our experiences, and live within (act out) that same thematic pattern in all areas and relationships of our life in one way or another.

The family dynamic we’re trained to, even though as children we play only one distinct role (from the perspective of the child) in that dynamic, as we become the adult, we naturally take on begin relating to the adult position in that same pattern and continue acting it out by being able to play any role in it. What role we play depends on what role our co-star takes on in the same pattern. We can readily move back and forth between the passive role and the dominating role of the same idea. We’re always initiating it and reacting to it at the same time. We only enter into relationships with those who have similar imprinting and can participate in co-creating the same feeling experience as an ongoing relationship, expressed through a variety of situations and life circumstances. So even though the elements and people may change as circumstances, the “same idea” is being acted out in a new environment with new players as a slight modification.

When we say that the mind “creates reality”, we don’t mean literally by producing something out of thin air, but rather that the mind can take any situation or circumstances, and through a sorting process of only abstracting and reorganizing certain aspects of it, makes it “appear” different. Our mind through our perceptual lens reinterprets a neutral reality of vast potential, into a possible variation as a personal creation. Everybody who’s apart of the same event as an objective reality, will view and experience it in a different and unique fashion from everybody else. No two people will experience it in the same way. Some people’s experience will be considerably different (of a completely different frequency), some will be kind of similar (in close range), and others will be along the same lines (of a similar vibration).

We rearrange the elements and qualities in any situation, by noticing some, and not noticing others, changing the active components, then interpreting the selected elements through a story we tell ourselves about it that creates how we experience it. So even though we all share the same neutral and objective outer reality, how we experience it by creating our own personalized version of that reality, is our minds natural creative ability. As we change our mind, how things appear to us changes accordingly. As we learn and incorporate new knowledge through an experience of some form, we alter our minds structure as a mental paradigm, and it changes how we see and experience everything else based on how the integration restructures our mind’s “patterning” as a shift in vibration. We only change our vibration by changing our mind, which changes how we see the world around us and how we experience it as a result.

Consciousness – “Mood, Memory, and Vibration”

The Akasha Field and the Vibratory Nature of the Mind

The Akasha, which is called by many names – the Book of Life, Hall of Records, Quintessence, Akashic field, the Unified Field, Quantum Plenum, the Ether, and so on – is similar to the idea of a vast library of knowledge as ideas in archetypal form that exists as the basis for mass consciousness. This universal knowledge is available to all who have a “higher mind” and the creative intellectual and intuitive capacity to conceive of ideas, develop them by thinking about them, and creating by way of them by how we apply or utilize them in our own life. In this way we take a universal idea and personalize it by transforming it into a unique variation as one potential out of an infinite number of possibilities.

The Akasha field is where pure knowledge as vibratory patterns exist in wave form in a potential (uncreated) state, as the mind of God, or the Universal Mind. These ideas are like a great library that’s accessible only through resonance as a vibratory match or equivalent. Vibratory frequencies are “patterns of information” much like a seed or quantum packets of information that form the basis for constructing material realities. These archetypal seeds are comprised of all the elements of life – the attributes and qualities that naturally grow characteristics and personality with natural behaviors in them that operate as themes that “tell distinct stories”. An archetype (form, function, and order) of pure potential is “accessed” by the individual mind through resonance (similar vibration), and drawn into the individual mind as the energetic matrix that adapts it to their paradigm, their personality, needs, conditions, circumstances, level of maturity, and so on, modifying it into a new variation of the same basic idea.

The idea is self-perpetuating as a form of growth process and sets into motion a chain of association. The idea as an impression, sparks a creative thought process that develops it into a mental concept as an internal image that stimulates a sensory feeling in response to our own thoughts. We imagine the idea as an actual life-like experience that elicits an emotional response, which then continues to develop the idea by way of the emotion married to it. The emotion, once stimulated, has a reference to memories of the same type of idea that were created through a story we told about an experience that made it mean something. We pull up those memories in our imagination and superimpose it over the already modified idea, and shape it further by giving it the same meaning and shaping it into the same type of idea as a way of experiencing it.

Emotions are always connected to memory, and act as a reference and activation for creating an instant reality by using the past to create more of the same feeling and idea in the present. All memory is state-mood based. We can only access memory that was created out of the same state-of-mind that we’re in currently. If we’re in a happy mood, we have trouble accessing sad memories (remember), we only access the memories that were created while feeling happy (same state). This is because our state or mood is our vibratory frequency which only resonates with thoughts and feelings of the same nature. What thoughts and ideas we think about and replay in our mind as memories are the ones that are of the same quality of consciousness that we’re “tuned into”. They’re of the same frequency, and we draw them into our mind by resonating with them. We are literally magnetized to that frequency. Our imagination, which turns ideas into sensory realities with emotional content that give them meaning through the story we tell about them, is a form of magnet. By imagining ideas or replaying memories over and over, varying them slightly each time by adapting them to our current situation, is how we set our frequency as a theme, and program ourselves by way of those “inner realities” to automatically produce “outer realities” of the same basic idea as a theme that gives us more of the same feeling.

Likewise, we can only access and draw into our mind ideas from the Akashic field of universal intelligence that are a vibratory match. We access what’s of a “like mind” as a state that forms the foundation for producing distinct types of reality. Our state of mind generates personal realities that match it as a feeling experience. We only conceive of, or are able to perceive and therefore experience, what matches us. We reform everything by how we act to naturally reinterpret it to tell the story we need to tell about it. Our story as our frequency or parent pattern, is our interpretive mechanism for structuring reality. How we select the elements in any given situation and make them mean what we need them to mean in order to continue telling our story is how we transform life through the fundamental act or perceiving it. Our attention and the quality of our presence, is a stimulant that influences everything around us through its emotional content.

Our emotions, which are universal in nature, are what connect us to others and everything in our environment. Our emotional state is our vibratory frequency which attracts and develops into realities ideas and thoughts as the same nature as the emotion. Thought and emotion are always a vibratory match, and one serves to stimulate or produce the other in response to it. We’re always either having an emotional reaction to our own internal imagining, or we’re thinking thoughts that express our emotions. This is how the inner and the outer are always in an intimate interaction as complementary opposites of the same overall pattern (frequency) as an experience of reality.

By this same law of duality of thought and emotion directly corresponding with each other, through resonance, we can know the formula for accessing knowledge of a higher level of consciousness that comes “into us” directly through experience. Certain emotional states must be cultivated in order to resonate with a higher frequency. In order to draw into us thoughts and ideas that create a reality of love and beauty, we have to create a sense of love and devotion as a frame-of-mind. An internal feeling of adoration, respect, and awe. Only by achieving these feeling states can we access and resonate with thoughts of the same nature. The ideas and experiences that give us more of those same feelings. Only by creating the corresponding state can we resonate (attract and draw into us) with those same ideas in the Akasha field of the universal mind and become the channel through which they express as an inner experience of an equivalent outer reality..

The Mind Generates Reality – We are the Sole Creators of our Experiences

All Reality as we know it is Subjective Reality

One of the most basic misunderstandings or confusion comes from our interpretation of “reality” as opposed to our “experience” of reality. Many people believe that what they’re experiencing “as” reality is the same thing that everyone else is experiencing, or that one person’s version of reality is more accurate or is truer than another person’s. We think our perceptions are objective and universal in nature, when in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. The true fact of the matter is, every person is observing and processing the same objective outer reality through their own mental paradigm which acts to reshape the outer world forming a personal version of it as their “experience” of it.  While we can’t control reality itself as a neutral sets of circumstances, we can very much change how we experience it as an inner process that conforms it to match our model of the world.

Another basic misconception is that other people “make us” feel a certain way (beyond our control), and give us or cause our experiences. We feel a certain way and have a certain type of experience because of how someone treated us, or what they did to us. And while, as most things, this idea exists as a paradox of sorts, the fact is what they did was triggered or stimulated us to create our own experience based on the feeling they activated inside of us. Feelings are vibrations that have whole patterns as creative processes inherent in them. A feeling sensation comes as a form of resonance as sympathetic induction, where energy is transmitted and absorbed between people and things, and serves to produce and internal effect out of an external influence or cause. While we are definitely stimulated by other people and events, directly and indirectly, we have the option to allow it, or resist it, but only when we’re aware of what’s happening. If we’re not aware of how feelings, emotions, and thoughts are being constantly transmitted through the atmosphere and received, then we experience it as happening to us without any real control or ability to stop it.

But no matter what the case, as we’re stimulated with a feeling or emotion, we are the sole creators of the inner process that takes place, even if it’s due to the fact that we simply allow it. We allow the energy to enter us, take hold, and we take on the emotions, and think whatever thoughts start running through our mind and form the inner reality as a personal experience that results from it. While we are influenced on what to picture in our mind and think about based on what’s being said to us, and what emotion or attitude it’s being said with, which acts to plant the idea in our mind, where we grow it into a full fledged reality by how we continue to think about it, we also have the ability to resist it, keep it outside of ourselves and not let it effect us, and in doing so, can control what how we feel and what we think. Only we feel our feelings, act out our emotions, and think our thoughts, and create inner realities as imagined scenario’s based on it. Nobody else does it to us or for us.

In this same way, only those who are of a similar mind-set and live out of similar ideas as realities can effect us. We’re only influenced by those we relate to and who are like us, where we can act as the receptor for their energetic transmissions. Someone who’s considerably different, that we can’t relate to, doesn’t effect us emotionally, and we don’t think the same type of thoughts as they do, so we don’t resonate with them. Feelings are vibrations which have self-organizing abilities as a growth process, that form natural patterns as types of reality. A vibratory frequency is a quality of consciousness that consistently expresses through the same patterns as thematic experiences that tell the same type of story as a consistent version of reality. Whenever something happens to us, we filter it through our paradigm where we abstract only certain parts of the greater reality, which we can organize in such a way that it tells the same type of story. The mind pulls out certain aspects of a situation, noticing them and using them as the basis for creating its experience in a congruent and consistent manner. Every person in the exact same situation or event will experience it in a unique way, and tell a different type of story about it. This is evident by listening to siblings, family members, or close friends tell a story about a memory that you shared with them years ago, and you don’t even recognize it, because they’re telling it from a whole different perspective and by elaborating on different aspects of it, that you may not of even particularly noticed, let alone remembered. This is because your interpretation of the same event produced an entirely different type of experience.

All personal experience comes as an interpretation formed by a filtering mechanism that reorders the elements of a situation into a new variation that matches your pattern by the story you tell about it. The story you tell yourself about an event gives it meaning and significance, and creates how you experience it as a correspondence to your mental paradigm. We can only see or conceptualize, and therefore understand what matches and is supported by our paradigm as the model or structure (frequency) of our mind. The model or shape of our mind is a dynamic living pattern as a vibratory frequency or quality of consciousness that reforms a universal reality to match it as a personalized version of it. Our vibratory frequency is demonstrated by our character as a state or quality of consciousness that creates (conceives of) a consistent version of reality as our life’s story. What we believe about others and life itself as a whole, is what we are programmed to see in life and how we experience it as a reality.

If a person has a life theme of “not being wanted”, then they have a filtering system that can interpret every situation to somehow be about them not being wanted, which consistently proves and validates their model of the world as being “true”. If a person’s issue (core belief) is that people are stupid, they see only what can be interpreted as stupid in people, and all their stories as experiences carry this theme. If a person has been betrayed and seriously hurt by it, they see only betrayal everywhere they look. They anticipate and expect it, and interpret any number of, what are in reality neutral behaviors, to mean betrayal. The idea and suspicion of betrayal is in even their most rudimentary attitude and behaviors, and even when the tendency is not prevalent in the other person or situation, they’ll act to bring it out in them by how they interact in relationship with them. Whatever frequency we vibrate at, we attract, stimulate, and serve to bring out (make active) in everything around us. This is why we consistently experience it while telling ourselves that it’s the way the world is, and has nothing to do with us as it’s creator. We imagine that our perception and experience are objective, neutral, and common, often without ever realizing that we are the cause and effect of our own creation, and the outer world and the story we tell about it is merely showing us the pattern we’re imprinted with.

Sub-personalities – Internal Conflict and the Voices in your Head

One of the most natural aspects of our everyday experience is this constant inner dialogue going on within our mind as a form of discussion, negotiation, or argument between different aspects or parts of ourselves. This natural phenomenon is evident in how we describe it when we say that “one part of me wants to do this, while another part of me wants to do that”. This split decision causes us to feel torn between ideas, and often leaves us never really making a firm decision while constantly going back and forth between extremes of the same idea. This same reality is often depicted as a devil on one shoulder, and an angel on the other, both whispering in our ear. Carl Jung recognized this basic process of consciousness always going on, and developed the idea of the psyche being composed of multiple archetypes or personalities that are always engaged in discussion and persuasion as part of our normal thinking. Of course this idea wasn’t unique to Jung, but is a basic part of ancient wisdom and the archetypes of mythology as aspects of consciousness that represent different personalities, and astrology based on the individual make-up being based on the archetypes and their main focus within a persons basic personality. These are not to be mistaken for “multiple personalities”, which is an entirely different condition, but rather as different aspects of one personality.

 
These inner voices, all with personalities of their own, each exerting themselves in various situations, competing for control of our will, are actually what in psychology we call “sub-personalities”, “inner aspects”, or “different parts”, all of which make the greater overall personality. We’re born with a cluster of archetypal personalities as part of our soul’s make-up, and we acquire them as we go through life from our conditioning, events of strong emotional impact, extreme fear, or trauma’s of some sort. Our parent’s voice, for example, becomes a natural part of our inner dialogue that continues to play out and talk to us from the same attitude, perspective, intention, and demeanor. Our belief system, likewise, comes as an inner discussion that’s always telling us about something from the perspective of the belief it represents. When we encounter shocking, fearful, or intense situations, we can draw into us and take on new aspects that are ideally suited for negotiating that situation “for us”, or as a means of coping with it. Whenever we’re devastated in some way, and fall apart, we let down our resistance to outside forces and influences, and become vulnerable to them through a form of magnetism.

Whatever emotional state we indulge in, we polarize ourselves to, become a magnet for the consciousness of that emotion, and draw into us thoughts that create realities out of the emotions as a possible expression of it. We “take on” the quality of consciousness equivalent to the emotional state, and think thoughts that form inner realities that express and produce more of that emotion. These emotional thoughts, seemingly generated by our mind as the expression of the emotions, take on a life of their own, become an aspect of our personality, and continue to operate in us through a voice that becomes a natural part of our thinking. It’s an aspect of the emotional state that produces it that perceives everything from that perspective, and has its role and intention “as” that perspective. It stays alive in us by thinking through us, and always talking to us in a convincing manner, negotiating the terms of its existence.

 
The sub-personality is always describing things, explaining them, and pointing them out while telling us about them. While they’re active “in us”, we are rendered passive, and allow them to exert themselves by giving them the stage to speak freely. Even when we recognize them, and willfully subdue them, as soon as our guard is down, they reassert themselves and begin controlling our thoughts without our direct awareness. They’re so automatic that they become a natural part of us. After awhile, we can’t separate ourselves from them, come to depend on them, and let them run us and use our mind and will to create by way of us. As long as we fail to integrate the parts, they continue to exert themselves without our direct awareness, through our subconscious nature. Whatever exists in us at the subconscious level, meaning without our direct awareness of it, we continue to act out in an automatic fashion, usually producing what ultimately becomes an internal conflict. They form opposing unconscious aspects of ourselves that go against conscious aspects. We make a decision consciously to do something, and then our subconscious mind brings into play everything that contradicts it and is acting to prevent it, sabotaging our willful efforts. Because these aspects were formed out of intense emotional states, whenever we begin reliving them, or they rise in us and begin playing out by controlling our thoughts, they’re accompanied by strong emotions, which tend to overpower us, and negate rational and reasonable thinking that’s devoid of a strong emotional component.

When two ideas come into direct conflict, each represented by a different aspect of ourselves, the one which elicits the strongest emotion tends to win out. While our first approach may be to fight against the emotional aspect preventing us from consciously progressing in a more favorable direction through active choice and will, this can prove hopeless and at best a temporary gain through dominance and suppression, yet the real solution lies in negotiating terms with the sub-personality, by gaining realization around it, what its purpose and agenda is, what it’s meant to do, and thanking it for its service to you by helping you through the difficult situation in which you acquired it in, then telling it to leave, while mentally forming a pathway out of your body and sending it back out into the universe to be of service to someone else.

 
All energies and natural forces as qualities of consciousness only come into us through a vacancy or void that creates a vacuum as magnetism of some sort, which we could think of as a form of invitation that pulls or draws it into us through resonance, we can simultaneously realize that regardless of the role it takes on, the intention is beneficial because it was designed to help us through a situation we were in as a state of mind that attracted it, or awakened it in us. While we tend to think of the mind as a product of the brain or heart, and therefore “set” and comprised of fixed qualities, the fact of the matter is we are born with a constitution as a set of information and memories that form our initial personality, and we are engaged in a constant process of growth and development through a constant exchange of energy with everything around us. The mind is energetic and invisible in nature, and works through vibration, sympathetic induction, and synthesis, in much the same way we take in the molecules of the air around us by breathing it, which then become an essential part of our molecular structure, while discharging or exhaling molecules no longer needed as a form of recycling. Likewise, the food we eat becomes the building blocks that form our physical body, determining our health as a physical state or condition. Our mind is the electromagnetic energy system of our body that’s drawing into it energies as qualities the consciousness around it. Blending with and becoming the same as them, altering the vibration of the mind through the integration, while emanating or sending back out energies no longer magnetized to it.

The energies of the mind as the invisible forces in the invisible space around us, are “qualities of consciousness” with a singular nature that form an aspect of a larger matrix of energies and become a sub-personality with a specific perspective and perception, that forms a part of our overall personality, modifying it by incorporating the singular perspective, altering the overall perspective. We experience it as a “voice in our head” as “thought” that enter into and become a part of our normal perspective of everyday reality. Because they come as thoughts and feelings, we often don’t realize that they’re not our own, and are something we “acquired” instead, and we give our will to them by letting them rise in us as our perception, thoughts, and interpretation of the meaning events take on. They begin discussing everything as a form of argument that clashes with and negates other aspects, always seeking to win over and resume control of our perception and thought processes.

 
Like all things of the mind and the invisible plane of pure energy that we are submerged in and an integral part of, the only way to extract unwanted aspects, or aspects whose part and role is no longer needed or beneficial, is through recognition and awareness of them and how they operate to influence and control you. Because we acquire these automatically while in an unconscious state of delirium (emotion, trauma, shock, intense fear, etc.), and they’re absorbed into our unconscious mind and arise in us automatically without our direct awareness of them, they continue with us until we become conscious and aware of them. Once we become aware of different aspects of ourselves, and how they exist in conflict with other aspects of our nature, and we realize how they’re serving us through protection and service of some sort, we can appreciate them, feel gratitude for their help, and let them know they’re no longer needed. They no longer serve a desirable or necessary purpose. We can then locate them in our body through the emotion they are a part of and the bodily sensations it produces, and direct them to leave while mentally escorting them out of our body and back into the universal soul of mass consciousness where they’ll become available to be drawn in by someone else in need of their services.

 
The interesting thing about qualities or aspects of consciousness is that they exists on the plane of the mind as consciousness, and can only be worked with from that same plane. The mind controls the mind, and our own conscious awareness and imagination is used to acquire, exchange, utilize, and discharge the consciousness available all around us. We work with our mind by way of our mind. We can realize that our will commands aspects of the mind not only as energies around us, but through the mind of others. We are constantly taking on and exchanging consciousness with everyone and everything around us. By becoming aware of this we can simultaneously learn how to exercise control over it.

 
Once we realize that our soul as our consciousness actually “jumps out of” and exits our body during events of fear, shock, and trauma, causing what you could think of as a vacancy and a form of vacuum as a magnetic pull that draws in energy equivalent to or of the same vibration and quality of our state of mind, or that’s inherent in the situation, we can begin realizing the powerful role emotions and fear play in governing us through acquisition of consciousness that increase and amplifies the state itself. Fear draws into us consciousness of the reality inherent in the fear, and makes us think fearful thoughts, or react with anger and rage, through an inner voice that begins dialoguing with us about the fear and from the perspective and attitude that sees the same type of fear in everything around us just through its perception of it. Looking through the lens of fear, we only see more fear or what warrants fear.

MindfieldBy learning how to manage our state of mind, we can recognize aspects we’ve acquired that aren’t “us”. We can begin distinguishing between our real self and our acquired self. We can begin realizing that certain aspects of our thinking are associated to specific events of our life where we “acquired them” and they became a normal part of our thinking. We can begin realizing how they play a part in sabotaging other aspects of our life, or argue against and negotiate through seduction to prevent willfully bringing about desired changes through conscious decisions to do so. By becoming aware of their strong emotional component we can not only resist their control, but learn how to identify them further, while simultaneously using compelling emotions to fuel and empower our conscious decisions. By gaining realization around them and what they act to prevent, protect us from, deal with, or cause, we can see their purpose and how they were intended to protect us, and how through that same attitude and behavior now act to sabotage our intentional efforts, we can thank it for its help, and tell it it’s no longer needed, then consciously and willfully release it, freeing it from the body and mind, and no longer be subject to it. Anytime we are “removing” one aspect creating a void or opening, we have to consciously draw into that space what we want to fill it, or it’ll do it automatically with whatever is available without our direction. As we create an opening or vacuum we have call or pull our soul back in to fill it, recovering it and becoming whole again. This is traditionally referred to as “Soul Retrieval” in Shamanic Arts.
All energy as spirits, entities, qualities, or emotions is subject to and commanded by the will of the human mind. We willfully acquire them through needing or wanting, or by vacating our body creating an opening for them to enter, take hold, and remain apart of us. While they occupy a part of us, our own soul can’t fully enter back into and operate through us, and remains on the outer boundaries of the mind where an opening has to be created in order to draw our own soul aspects back into our body. Only through awareness, realization, and willful control over them can we release or discharge them. The problem is, once they become a part of us, we build our identity around them as an essential part of ourselves, and form a kind of love for them, and hold them to us as a result. We don’t want to let them go because we’ve become accustomed to the story we began living out of them due to the traumatic circumstances we acquired them through, and feel as if we would lose an important part of ourselves by letting them go that would change tour very psychological make-up by making us encounter and experience in us what they were designed to protect us from. We only draw into us and acquire consciousness that’s of service somehow and therefore useful.

Even when we perceive them as bad or destructive, they’re preventing us from coming face-to-face with other aspects of ourselves that we fear even more, even though they might be ultimately good and serve our growth. For example, anger and hostility may be acquired in response to something terrifying that was exactly what we needed to deal with that event, and so it helped us cope and be able to get through it, that once the terrifying event passed, we still maintain an aspect of us that approaches ordinary experiences with an attitude of anger and aggressiveness, or we see them in a way that makes us feel angry and aggressive that’s an inappropriate response. We can continue to look at ordinary things from a perspective that warrants anger and a hostel attitude. In this way, the very quality that protected us in one situation, now becomes our downfall because it becomes a primary part of our everyday life and we’re “angry a lot”, or it becomes an inappropriate response that we can’t seem to help, and we begin employing volatile reactive behavior in the ordinary sense.

 
While we may come to a conscious decision of no longer needing their diversion, and are willfully choosing to step into what we originally feared and resisted, they continue to play out preventing it by introducing contradicting thoughts and emotions that go against our active decisions and hold us to the same attitudes, identity, and behavioral tendencies they served to develop in the first place. Once they become apart of us, we mistake them for being us, and continue to let them control us by living out of them and never sticking with our decisions that would eradicate them by rendering them subjective to our will.

 
Like all things, the idea is never to fight against or resist something, but rather to remove it and its influences from the system altogether, modifying the mind, and removing all blocks to progressive growth through willful decision making. At the level of the mind and consciousness, awareness is the key! Anything we remain unaware of continues to play out in our life, without our consent. By becoming aware of unconscious or shadow aspects of ourselves, we can dissolve them through awareness itself. Not through hating them or judging them to be bad, weak, or wrong, but rather by recognizing how they were serving us at some level and were exactly what we needed to deal with the situation we were in when we attracted them. When they entered us they were helping us to cope with and negotiate some situation that was difficult for us, or that we didn’t feel equipped to deal with. It’s only through true recognition and love and gratitude, that we work with the very consciousness that makes up our own being and serves to create our life experiences and impose a distinct direction on our life’s path by playing a part in controlling our choice and will to bring about certain realities. Love, appreciation and gratitude elicit a natural state of cooperation necessary to direct energetic forces.

How to Begin Taking Control of your Emotional State

There’s nothing that controls us more than the emotions we experience or act to produce through the nature of our thoughts. One of the first steps to working consciously with anything is by gaining awareness around it and coming to understand how it operates. By becoming aware of what it is, how it works, the natural relationship it forms as a creative process, and what affects they produce when uncontrolled and haphazard. Emotions exist at the subconscious level of the mind, which means we engage in them, experience them, transmit and receive them, without direct awareness of what’s happening. When we enter into them, they produce pronounced and intense state of mind and bodily sensations and cause us to go unconscious while producing reactive behaviors. Our reactive behaviors create in our life and draw to us immediate consequences.

 
People who experience intense emotions are usually highly reactive, easy to control through their emotions, and prone to delusions formed out of thinking that’s driven by emotions. While in a reactive state we’re completely unconscious of what we’re actually doing and running on autopilot. Many, when they come out of an outburst or temporary loss of control, only vaguely remember it in terms of what they said and did, and once the realize what they’ve done, feel ashamed, embarrassed, guilty, or regretful. But of course, it’s too late, what’s done is done, and can’t be undone. During reactions, many honestly experience a form of black-out where they’re completely unconscious, and it’s as if something has “taken them over”, and only start coming back into awareness somewhere in the middle of what they’re doing, and so in a strange sort of way, actually aren’t fully responsible for what they say and do, even though it was still extremely destructive and damaging and came as the result of a complete lack of control. This can make emotionally reactive people very stressful to be around and unpredictable. You have the feeling of walking on egg-shells because you never know how they’ll take something or what will set them off.

So to begin the process of learning how to control your self and avoid being infected by emotions is to approach them with an attitude of understanding them. This can be done through simple self-observation and reflection. We don’t need a scientific explanation in order to understand it in terms of working with it. Emotions are something we experience everyday in an intimate fashion. We first want to look at how emotions are transmitted and received. Notice that you can sense and perceive emotions being put off by someone experiencing them. This is a kind of emanation, projection, or transmission. You sense them because you feel them. You pick up on them as internal sensations located at different spots or areas of your body. While you may not know what caused them, or what thoughts they’re actually having, you know what “kind” of emotions they are – angry, sad, happy, scared, in love, heartbroken, and so on – because they make you feel the same way. You simply want to notice this “transmission and reception” of emotions.

 
Emotions are shared by the entire natural world, and are the primary “language” or communicative activity of the subconscious mind. You want to begin forming an idea in your mind that the very atmosphere of the Earth that surrounds us and that we’re apart of, is like a field of energy that acts as a carrier wave for the transmission of vibration as emotion that stimulates us producing “states of mind”. These vibrations as emotions are experienced as “qualities of consciousness” that move freely through matter, and are transmitted by “entering us” and activating the same feeling in us. These emotions, in the animal kingdom are designed to create automatic behaviors and activities in the animals as instinct, who, of course, don’t “think about things”, but act and react as more of a “cause and effect” type of relationship, where the information of their environment is apart of them, and acts to direct their activities. This transmission of energy designed to produce automatic behaviors affects us also, causing reactions, but the problem is we also form our “thinking” out of them, and as a result, create whole realities as an illusion that’s mistaken for being real or actual. We create whole realities out of emotional states that render us unconscious and cause us to act in a knee-jerk fashion.

Notice what happens inside of you when you pick up on a strong emotion, one that’s being projected directly at you, or you’re interacting with someone who communicating through the emotion, or is in a reactive state themselves and unloading on you. Notice the intensity while refraining completely from acting on it, while letting it completely rise in you, filling you. Concentrate on being present with it by giving it your full attention. Don’t try to shut it down or suppress it through a feeling of overwhelm. You can hold the emotion fully within you without expressing it. Stay with it in it’s intensity until it peaks and starts dying down. Allow yourself to notice the thoughts you reference and think about as a form of memory associated with it. This usually comes as a scene that starts playing out, of either an experience you had while in this same state, or as the kind of experience this emotion would produce or come from. Whether an actual memory or an imagined one, notice that they come in the same way, as what seems like a memory.

 
Emotion as a state of mind is always intimately associated with all our experiences, and determines what kind of thoughts we form in our mind, or what previous experiences we continue to play over and over. Emotions have a very active component to them, and tend to make us act in some way according to them. When emotions are intense, behavior is immediate and often explosive or extreme. While we may not experience a clear thought process, the emotion does cause an instant behavior as a reaction that’s produced as a pattern for the body through memory of some form. Emotions not only keep us behaving in the same way, but living out of the same past.

 
Once you begin practicing this in your daily life, starting with the common emotions that are easy to control, then working your way up, you can begin consciously controlling not only your actual emotions, but your behavior and what you do or who and how you’re being. Because they no longer take place in an unconscious fashion, you don’t go unconscious when experiencing them. As you begin staying conscious and aware of them, from a disassociated and detached perspective of witnessing or observing them, you can literally begin directing and controlling them. You can create an imaginary boundary a couple of feet from your body as a bubble like sphere surrounding your body, that’s a shield where the emotion is experienced on the surface of this sphere and never allowed to penetrate you or produce and affect “in you”. When you keep the emotion outside of you, yet allow it to fully reflect on the outer boundary, much like looking at it through a lens, you can still see (imagine) the reality or memory inherent in it, while keeping it outside of you. You can look through the lens of the emotion as a perception of it, while never actually feeling it in your body or allowing it to become a part of you. This forms the basis for developing compassion. You may feel the residual affect of the emotion more like an echo or subtle sensation produced by the perception of it, much like your own thoughts elicit emotions in response to them, but it’ll have a distant feeling, and be easy to control and direct out of your body at will.

As you practice and get good at the process involved, you’ll naturally be able to use it in emotionally intense or volatile situations, with equal ease. By being able to still have or see the experience of the emotion outside of your body, you’ll stay conscious and fully awake in situations you’d normally go unconscious in, and you’ll be able to see the illusion of the emotion as a delusion or false representation of reality, without partaking in the same illusion yourself. You can begin realizing how emotions skew and distort perception and replace objective reality with a false interpretation of a subjective reality. You’ll be able to realize how emotions control people and keep them locked into illusions of their own making. You’ll be able to realize that their reaction and behavior is based on a lie that they perceive as real and factual.

 
Once you can keep emotions from penetrating and infecting you, you can dissociate and detach from them and stay centered in an objective and actual reality that’s not based on a shared emotional illusion. By being able to see clearly, you can understand and therefore feel a deepened sense of compassion for other people who simply haven’t learned how to step outside of their own made-up realities long enough to see the truth. By being able to witness this reality with other people, you’ll be able to see your own illusions in an objective and neutral fashion also. By understanding emotions, how they work to infect us causing a kind of mental illness, we can begin working with them while remaining fully conscious and centered in an undisturbed inner peace and equilibrium that allows for an neutral and objection perception that shows us the truth hidden in the surface appearance of things.
