The Merkabah – Resonance, Sympathetic Induction, and Coherence as the Vehicle for Ascension
The idea of the Merkabah, which is typically represented by two interlaced triangles or tetrahedrons that form a hexad, or what some refer to as the Star of David, scientifically represents the laws that govern dual aspects of our mind, each represented by a triangle oriented in opposite directions. Each aspect of our dual (polarized) mind, called the conscious and subconscious, reside on parallel planes structured as an hierarchy, and when harmoniously combined, the higher serves to raise the vibration of the lower mind to a higher level of consciousness. The term Merkabah typically refers to a ‘vehicle of light’ or ‘light body’, which is formed as the means of permanently ascending into higher dimensions through resonance, sympathetic induction, and coherence. While sacred geometry and the laws and principles each spatial concept represents are multi-dimensional and have as many diverse forms of meaning as there are people interpreting them, they also represent a set laws that can be used in numerous ways as practical tools for creating not only within the physical realm, but simultaneously in the astral, mental, and causal realms. Laws as geometric shapes form a series of correspondences with letters, numbers, colors, sounds, states, planetary influences, and so on, all of which provide us with explicit instructions for how to use our own mind-body system to move between higher and lower dimensions, which exist as polarized planes of a greater unified dimension, all of which operate according to the same set of universal laws.
The basic idea behind the hexad, formed as two interlace triangles, each of which represents an aspect of the mind, one pointing down, and the other up, is equilibrium or harmony formed between a higher and lower level or region of the same plane, where the higher draws the lower up forming single plane that resides on a higher arc. Parallel-polarized planes normally form a span or range of vibration that can vary significantly based on which end of the scale we reside on most often. A hexad, like the triad, represents a universal law, which means it’s fundamental in forming the basic structure (light body) of reality itself, and represents structure, function, and order. This tells us that the way something is structured or formed determines how it functions or behaves and the order or growth process it naturally undergoes as a means of becoming. Vibration, in and of itself, is formed out of a pattern (model or idea) that’s systematically constructed and maintained by a self-organizing force (will) which also imbues it with a distinct set of natural behaviors in the form of a personality. Light, when viewed through a scientific model, is the same thing as matter. Light (photons as microscopic packets of light) exists as both substance and a wave-form, at the same time. A part is contained within a greater whole of the same nature (vibratory frequency). They differ only in degree and rate of vibration, both contained within the same overall or greater frequency. The higher plane of light, being of a higher vibration is invisible or translucent to the lower plane of solid matter, which moves at a considerably slower rate. Because all planes that combine to make-up the material world are of the same basic energetic substance, separated only by degrees of vibration formed as a scale that moves between a higher and lower level of the same frequency, the way to move within these interlaced planes is by working to raise your vibratory frequency as your state of mind.

In order to achieve the level of consciousness we refer to as divine or heavenly, which is pure and virtuous in nature, completely devoid of our lower, animal nature, we have to become like God (god-like). The celestial beings referred to as gods never come down from heaven (higher dimensions), because to do so they’d have to lower their vibration as a degradation or corruption of their consciousness, expressed through the legend of the fallen angels, and so work with the lower planes through the soul or astral body of man as an intermediary or medium between planes. We move between parallel planes through purely mental means by letting go of our lower nature and residing primarily in our higher nature. This raises our mental vibration to a more medium point where we’re drawn up into the lower region of the higher plane through sympathetic resonance. We polarize ourselves to the higher plane by becoming “like it” in nature, where we vibrate at a similar enough frequency, that we’re drawn into it through sympathetic induction. This is represented by two triads which originally reside on parallel planes, one higher, one lower, where the upper flips and draws the lower up, combining with it, forming a coherent state which raises its vibration. This is why all spiritual traditions involve a form of personal transformation as the basis for spiritual regeneration, where we are required to use the higher capacities of intelligence, choice and will to shape ourselves to become virtuous and of the same nature as God (the gods). In order to move into a higher dimension that vibrates at a higher frequency, we have to tune ourselves to a high enough vibration that we begin vibrating in harmony with it, and are drawn into it as a result. We are energetic beings whose vibratory frequency as a mental state demonstrates our level of morality and quality of consciousness. We can only blend into what we’re like in essence and morality.
As humans we possess three levels or aspects of the mind, represented by the triangle of the trinity, referred to as the higher mind or Self, the subconscious or lower self, and the conscious or self-aware mind. While most think of the mind as being the conscious mind, the part of us that’s aware and thinks about things, while in our physical body, our conscious mind is formed as an aspect of our subconscious, and we live in a reality shaped primarily by the collective unconscious of Nature and humanity. Being a part of the lower-animal kingdom of the Earth, governed by the subconscious mind which is habitual and functions through an automated mindset and behaviors, we exist in a fundamental state of hypnosis, where we’re a part of the group mind of mass consciousness. Here we take in ideas as suggestions given to us by others, and formulate them in our mind as a part of our reality. We’re constantly absorbing information from our environment and the suggestions given to us by others, and by thinking about them, we mold them harmoniously into our mental model where they become a form of programming that produces our perception of reality and spawns automated thought processes and a correlating set of behaviors. We’re all shaped by others and the world around us to be like it in nature through our formative conditioning as a child and young adult. This shapes our initial vibratory frequency which runs on autopilot until we wake up in the midst of our own dream, realize what we’re doing, and then exercise the higher capacities of our conscious mind to transform our mental model and begin developing ourselves in a more conscious and deliberate manner.

In order to draw in higher forms of consciousness as a quality and way of being, gaining a rational understanding of the principles that govern the material realm, we have to cultivate ourselves to be of the same vibratory frequency or within close enough range that we can still absorb it by resonating with it. The most fundamental way we move between a hierarchy of parallel planes of existence formed as levels of consciousness or intelligence, is through energetic sympathy. When we exist within a certain range of vibration, we can resonate with other vibrations that are in close proximity of that same frequency. Through resonance, energy as qualities of consciousness merge into each other, combining to form a coherent state, where they begin vibrating in harmony as a single state. We change our vibration as a mental state by combining with ideas and states that vibrate at a higher rate and more expanded mode of consciousness. When the lower vibration raises itself to come within range of the higher vibration, an induction takes place, and it draws the lower vibration into a higher rate of vibration, forming a new level of consciousness as a coherent and consistent frequency. This is often described as a paradigm shift, where we accumulate enough new information, that we cross a threshold, and our entire mental model instantly reorganizes itself to an expanded level of awareness.
By raising our vibration to the highest point of the lower plane to come into near proximity of the lower point of the higher plane, it causes a paradigm shift that upgrades our mental model, forming new and more inclusive levels of awareness, shifting and expanding our ability to conceive of new ideas. Through a paradigm shift, formed by expanding our knowledge base, it systematically upgrades and modifies all ideas held in our mind that involves and is affected by the new realizations, and our mind is literally restructured and transformed to be able to perceive and comprehend higher worlds that exist simultaneously within the physical plane. Reality itself doesn’t change, but how we see and experience that same reality changes. We’re able to perceive things we couldn’t perceive before, and our world expands as a direct correlation.

Summary
In order to attain a higher level of consciousness that exists on a higher plane that’s interlaced with this dimension, where we can conceive it, we have to develop ourselves to the level of that plane while in the lower one. We can only attain what is equivalent to us, or that which we are similar to in nature, and therefore vibrate in harmony with. We have to develop ourselves to a higher level of intelligence and morality in order to consciously facilitate our own mental and emotional transformation. We can only know God by becoming god-like in consciousness and identifying exclusively with our divine nature. Whatever we identify with and use as a means of experiencing ourselves, we polarize ourselves to, and all movement, whether within the same plane or between a higher and lower plane, occurs naturally through polarity. This is why all initiatory processes involve purifying the soul, releasing attachments to our material existence, cultivating virtues to develop our morality, and through the constant study of philosophy, the arts, and the sciences. A pure mind that possesses knowledge of the higher worlds is necessary to be able to act as the tuner and receiver for higher vibrations and lift ourselves to the celestial realms. We must engage in a form of devotional study to attain higher knowledge through meditation, concentration, contemplation, and by bringing that knowledge into practice within our daily life. We acquire it like we acquire anything, by merging with it, embodying it, becoming the channel for it, and transforming ourselves through synthesis. Only through sympathy do we attain the knowledge, essence, qualities, and virtues necessary to vibrate at a higher rate.
By realizing our true nature, not as unique beings or advanced animals, but as divine beings imbued with the ability to consciously create ourselves, we let go of our personal agendas born out of a selfish nature, and step into our roles as universal beings that are in this world, but not of it. As divine beings sent here to evolve mankind by merging into the collective unconscious, becoming one with it in mind and body, while still maintaining awareness of our true identity and creative power to transcend and therefore evolve mankind from the inside out.
All growth and development is self-facilitated. It comes only through desire, devotion and willful effort. No one can make us learn or grow or do our work for us. We are the sole creators of our experiences and of ourselves. What we have been taught to look for outside of ourselves, that gives our life purpose and meaning, only resides within us waiting to be acknowledged and consciously birthed while in our body. It’s only through self-awareness and gaining knowledge of ourselves as our highest possibility that we can begin actively and consciously undergoing the process of personal transformation by purifying our mind and body and tuning ourselves with the proper qualities and thoughts that intentionally develop our vibratory frequency. By developing our mind to a higher state we ascend one plane at a time, undergoing the process of death and rebirth while still living. Through death of our lower nature and birthing our higher nature in its place, we use our will in being able to permanently reside on the higher planes of consciousness, which is our true home.
