Exercising the Power of Choice to Create your Life

The most fundamental way we direct the events of our life and create our own experiences is through the decisions we make that we then use our will in fulfilling by taking action on them. Many think that the power of choice only matters in the big decisions we make regarding what seems like the important issues we’re faced with, yet the fact is we’re always making decisions in every moment, both unconsciously and consciously, as to who we’re going to be. The future is created in the present. The past no longer exists unless it’s kept alive by continuing to think about it. Major decisions come as a natural progression of many smaller decisions we make along the way. All decisions come as an expression of our character and as the basic means through which we create ourselves through the type of experiences they produce that we play a part in initiating and cooperatively participating in.

When we practice the art of staying present in our life, and keep our attention on what’s actually happening as a direct experience, we can realize that the only “real time” is the present moment and that all future events come as the result of the decisions we’re making as to who we’re going to be, what we’re going to do, and what type of things we’re going to participate in co-creating in the moment. No one is ever really making our decisions for us, but simply act to influence us by getting us to agree and cooperate with them, or causing us to doubt ourselves and what we know to be true in favor of their ideas about things instead.

Three Basic Types of Choices

There are three primary forms of decisions: conscious ones that we make with awareness and in an intentional manner; unconscious ones that we do without thinking or that are emotionally based; and natural selection, or ones that come as a form of perceptual default based on our mental paradigm. One of the most basic types of decisions that we make all the time without realizing it is in terms of what we focus on, give our attention to, and think about consistently. Whatever we think about in a repetitive manner, we literally program ourselves with as a reality, and ultimately become through the activity we generate out of it. We can use the self- aware aspect of our mind to decide what we focus on and think about. We can learn how to keep our attention focused in the present and only think about what actually matters.

We’re making an unconscious decisions anytime we focus on the past and continue running the stories of our conditioning through our mind over and over. As we continue to tell stories about what happened to us in the past, and what it means about us as a result, we simply repeat the past in the present and create ourselves out of an unconscious state. When we allow our mind to wander in a random and habitual manner our thoughts tend to control us instead of us controlling them. Unconscious decisions are often made purely out of emotional states as reactions. As we go through our day, current events form a chain of association to similar events of the past, and we constantly go off into whole thought processes as memories that we consistently replay and tell stories about in a redundant manner. When we allow our mind to operate on auto-pilot without being self-aware and directing it in an intentional manner, we continue to live out of a primarily unconscious state.

Birthing New Realities

Choice and will are intimately connected because we always use our will as the means of producing the reality of our choices. Likewise, self-realization is what forms our awareness around our ability to make moment by moment decisions and then realize the outcomes we produce through willful action. We apply realization through our ability to recognize several options available to us in any moment, then imagining the reality our decisions will produce as an experience. Choice and will work “as” the Law of Cause and Effect. All action causes an equal or greater reaction of the same nature. As we make a decision, then take action on it, we act to birth a whole new reality. As we create the reality of our decision, we form new realizations about our self and life and begin living in a much more intentional manner.

We’re always acting to consciously and unconsciously produce our own reality while simultaneously experiencing ourselves “within” that reality as a certain “kind and type” of person. Choices, like all things, stem from our mental paradigm formed out of our conditioning as our fundamental means of perceiving things. Most of our decisions come as a form of perceptual habit that’s applied consistently while in an unconscious state where we lack awareness of what we’re actually doing in the direct sense. While many believe that choice is a conscious act, the fact is most of our decisions come unconsciously as what we choose to focus on, think about, and play out in our mind as imaginary scenarios and the mood that results from it. 

 Realization is important as the means for being able to make intelligent decisions by playing out possible choices to see what type of consequences they’ll possibly render. By playing out a choice as the reality it’ll produce, we can learn how to make good decisions that will bring the best possible outcomes. We can’t ever blame our own decisions and creations on other people who we imagine made our decisions for us by giving us no choice, or that put us in a bind, or that we imagine led us astray somehow, because intuitively we’re always “sensing things” as our feelings about it, and know right away the character and intentions of the person and what type of drama as a relationship and way of interacting that will result from it. Emotions that are intense can act to override and take control of our intellect. When we begin making emotional decisions we use our will to engage in co-creating the illusion inherent in the emotion.

 In our modern society we entertain ideas like it’s “alright” to say no, as if you’re doing something wrong or that you’ll “make someone feel bad” by being true to yourself. We’re often taught to ignore red-flags that come as intuitive awareness in favor of the emotional illusion being unconsciously played out by others instead. Many stay in bad relationships for years because they feel they’re wrong somehow in making the decision to leave, and then become resentful, bitter, and depressed while imagining it’s the other person’s fault.

The Power of Intuition

Within the animal kingdom of instinct, there’s no such thing as illusions that replace objective reality. There’s no lying to yourself and others by presenting them with an illusion in place of truth, and there’s no manipulative and covert agendas being played out as a means of gaining control over others. As humans, we also possess an animal body and experience instinct as intuition and body consciousness. When we listen to our body (how we feel) and intuition (the awareness that comes from it) we always know the truth in any situation, and if we allow an idea to spontaneously arise out of our intuition as a mental impression, we can know the reality that will result from it.

Intuition as feelings is based on the energies at play that systematically produce patterns as the reality inherent in it. As we steadily move into a situation we’re constantly being stimulated energetically forming an intimate awareness around it that’s always connecting us to the truth about it. When we form an intuitive awareness around something, but then either feel bad or doubt our awareness in favor of a story we begin telling ourselves that either explains it away or justifies it somehow, and we keep moving into it instead of away from it, we make a fundamental error in judgment, and act to co-create an illusion in place of the truth. Naturally, at some point along the way what we knew from the beginning starts becoming evident, then we feel “disillusioned”, lied to, let down, and somehow betrayed by the other person, when in fact it was us who lied to and betrayed ourselves because we didn’t listen to what we knew to be true right from the start.

The power to self-create in an aware fashion comes by realizing that we’re always making the decisions as to what direction our life takes, what relationships we maintain, what environments we place and keep ourselves in, and who we are in terms of our character and morality. As we make decisions in a moment by moment fashion as to who we’re going to be and what type of qualities we employ as the means of creating our experiences, we are simultaneously creating our “self” in relation to everything else. We can begin realizing that we always have a direct connection inwardly to the truth that exists outwardly. All we have to do is realize it and trust it as the means of making good decisions. Once we realize that all of our mental and emotional pain and suffering is caused by our own hand through the choices we make and the actions we take based on our decisions, and how we use our mind to experience the reality of our choices, we gain access to a very fundamental power as the true nature and creative ability of our higher soul.

Our Higher Self isn’t separate or different from our lower soul that’s confined to our personality and our unconscious conditioning, but is what acts to produce the entire material reality of our lower soul “through” how it operates as the consciousness of the body. When we “choose” to embody and utilize our higher consciousness as the means of creating, we learn how to tune into and skillfully use our intuition as the means of always knowing the truth in any situation and begin creating our life in a self-aware and intelligent manner. When we ignore and subdue our higher, subtle awareness as our intuition in favor of surface appearances, we use the power of our will to form illusions in place of truth. As unconscious beings that lack true awareness, we’re always deceiving ourselves. In the ultimate sense all deception is self-deception. We’re only deceived when we first disconnect from our self in favor of someone else’s truth, and act on ourselves to cooperate in creating an illusion in place of what we know deep down to be true.

All betrayal comes initially from betraying ourselves by choosing to ignore what we know to be true and therefore real, in favor of a lie. We can only be lied to by another when we first lie to ourselves by going against our inner feelings. When we lose touch with our true self, which is only known intimately as our feelings and the awareness that arises from them, we become an inherent part of a grand illusion created by surface appearances and facades designed to mask the truth and engage in a primary form of self-delusion.

Whenever we allow someone to persuade or convince us to go against what we feel to be right, we make an unconscious agreement to participate in a very basic form of self-deception where we deny our self in favor of another that we believe knows better than we do. The “truth” is never something we have to be persuaded to believe, it’s something that comes from within as a basic form of “self-awareness” as to how we feel in relationship with the outer forces we’re interacting with. We’re always choosing both unconsciously and consciously in any given moment to either make decisions based on what we know internally or what we’re being influenced by externally. We’re always either allowing our Higher Self to show us the way and create through us, or allowing others to make our decisions for us where we lend our will to creating our life according to the illusions they produce. Either way, the choice is always ours.

Self-Mastery: Mastering the Ability to Control and Direct your Thoughts and Attention

While knowledge as theory gives us the basis for practice, we only truly “learn” (live and earn) by bringing the knowledge into practice somehow in our daily life. We only truly know what we attain through direct experience and can willfully demonstrate as a part of our normal abilities and behavior. Conceptualizing something in a purely theoretical form while frequently contemplating or discussing it will have a tendency to explore and penetrate the deeper levels of an idea, but until we “become one with an idea” and experience it in a direct way by being it, we never actually acquire or own it. Knowledge that’s contemplated or studied but never applied is merely a form of entertainment or mental hobby.  Whenever we study something, we’re always using other people’s ideas and perhaps imagining them in our own way, but we only really know if something is true or produces what it claims to through the direct experience of it.

We have to always maintain a sense of equilibrium between the body, soul, and spirit by utilizing them simultaneously through an actual practice. One-sided training is not only unproductive, but it can cause an imbalance that can be destructive and produce undesirable effects. This is obvious in our modern day society’s tendency to try and educate without first teaching the ability to control compulsive, random thinking and the ability to concentrate without interruption from unwanted thoughts for an extended period of time. The only knowledge we truly maintain at the eternal level of the soul, which is our “nature” that forms our character, is what we build into our muscle by turning it into a habit that becomes a part of our natural behavior, way of perceiving, and daily lifestyle.

Applying knowledge not only requires the knowledge itself as a theory of some kind that gives you the means to start, but it also requires you to develop “qualities” that are necessary in applying it. Theory is the intellectual aspect, practice is the intuitive aspect as a process, and art is the manifestation as a result. While we think in materialistic terms that we’re acquiring the skill implied by the knowledge, from the soul perspective, which is always about “being”, it’s the qualities we have to employ and develop in order to apply it that’s the actual knowledge in energetic and intuitive terms as a form of soul conditioning. In all spiritual practices the most basic conditions for development are intention, diligence, patience, perseverance, concentration, and devotion. It’s comes as a love and desire for the knowledge by becoming one with it in spirit, mind (soul), and body. It requires diligence and a deep sense of utter devotion. While you can be kind, forgiving, and lenient towards others, you must develop an attitude of being studious, unrelenting, and pitiless on yourself. You have to exercise a stringent form of self-discipline in everything you do. Set high standards and expectations, and then push yourself to not only achieve them, but master them.

Only what’s practiced in a consistent and diligent manner becomes a habit. When something becomes a habit it arises in us naturally. It becomes a part of our natural tendencies in any given situation and forms our natural perception and behaviors. By building practices into our daily lifestyle as a part of our normal routine, we faithfully employ them and develop ourselves by way of them. Once we have become accustomed to a particular exercise, the urge for it comes naturally. It’s only when we begin doing something as a natural part of our being that we have actually “acquired it” as part of our souls memory which forms our inner nature. We have to always be disciplined and diligent in all our efforts in order to progress and thereby ascend.

The very first step in any form of spiritual development is controlling, disciplining, and mastering your thoughts. The mind has a tendency to wander constantly and operate out of autopilot most of the time. Our thoughts come so natural and automatic that even when we are disciplining ourselves, we’re often in the midst of a thought process before we even realize what we’re doing, and are able to bring ourselves back into a focused state. This is perfectly natural, and in the beginning, when first employing your will to direct and redirect your thoughts, it’ll be a constant process. However, like anything, the more you’re able to stay focused and continually realize and direct your thoughts, the easier and more natural it becomes. This is why patience and perseverance are required. So don’t let yourself become discouraged in the beginning when it can seem somewhat difficult.

In order to cultivate abilities, we need to start off with simple practices that  we perform two or three times a day for five to fifteen minutes at a time. It’s recommended to do these in a balanced way in the morning upon rising, midday when relaxing, and in the evening. Start off with small time frames of 5 minutes, then as you master them, gradually increase the amount of time you spend doing them to 10 minutes. Increase the frequency you do each in whatever way is appropriate according to your daily activities. Always start with small steps and only after you have mastered each step, work your way up. Each process must be mastered before moving on to the next, because the next step requires full use of the previous step which lays the foundation for it. We have to be able to use certain abilities in order to perform other abilities that are an extension or outgrowth of it.

Equilibrium of spirit (still), soul (will), and body (automatic) are always important to maintain and practice together because they ideally operate in a cohesive manner. The problem most have with controlling and directing their thoughts is that the lower mind of the body that produces a continuous stream of automatic and redundant thoughts has been allowed to run unchecked, while the willful mind of the soul has been greatly underused or ignored completely, and the still, empty mind of the spirit is something many feel they can’t actually achieve. This is due to developing in an unbalanced way with sole emphasis on the lower mind. For this reason, development that’s undertaken intentionally must always be conducted in a balanced way, exercising all 3 levels of the mind and body. So for this exercise, which is in 3 parts, we’ll work on developing the ability to observe or simply witness your own thoughts and bring them under control, discipline and direct your thoughts through concentration, and the ability to master your thoughts by stilling and emptying your mind of verbal thoughts altogether and entering into the experience of pure being.

Preparation for each step:  All exercises should be done in a private and quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed for 5 to 15 minutes, while in a fully relaxed position.  Don’t do them when feeling tired, as you must remain fully awake and aware throughout the process. Awareness is key. It may be a good idea to splash your face and upper body with cold water before you begin. Do not fall asleep during these exercises or they won’t be beneficial.

  • Sit or lay down with your body fully supported.
  • Close your eyes to block out distraction, and focus on the rhythm of your breathing. Let your mind enter into the rhythm.
  • Relax your entire body by setting the intention to relax, then mentally directing it to relax, and then feeling it relax.

Step 1) Thought Control

       This step allows you to begin gaining an awareness of thoughts that normally operate in a completely automatic and unconscious fashion. This is the habitual and compulsive aspect of the subconscious mind controlling the conscious and willful mind. Whatever we focus on and think about we become, and we act to create more of in our present situation. When thoughts are allowed to run in an unchecked manner, we lend our will to them and we create in our life in an unconscious manner. On the spiritual plane “thought is action”, and thoughts are how we create in the most fundamental sense on the material plane. So the first step to any form of conscious development is gaining control over our thoughts through self-awareness and being able to intentionally guide and determine our thoughts in a willful manner.

  • Allow a natural train of thought to form and spontaneously begin free-flowing. Make no attempt to control these thoughts, simply observe them to become aware of what they are.
  • Notice that most pertain to whatever is happening in your life at the moment, issues that have a strong emotional content, family or relationship issues, job related issues, whatever is weighing on your mind, and simply redundant meaningless thoughts that are purely habitual and automatic in nature.
  • When thoughts arise that tend to “pull you into them” where you begin dwelling in them, simply stop, pull your attention away, and allow them to continue in a free-flowing stream of thought while silently observing them from a detached perspective of not being “in them as a part of them”, but rather remaining free and independent of them, observing them from a distance watching them as they flow by, or as they rise and fall.
  • Don’t try to control your train of thought or lose sight of yourself by getting side-tracked and dwelling in any one thought, but simply observe them in as attentive way as possible gaining an awareness of them.
  • Be conscious of everything, and don’t try to hurry the exercise. Let it flow naturally while giving it your full attention.
  • You’ll notice that in the beginning you’re bombarded with thoughts in an almost chaotic manner as they quickly pass by. Pay close attention to them and try to remember them.
  • As you become aware of what normally operates as an unconscious and automatic process, you’ll also gain a natural form of control over it. Awareness itself brings a sense of control as the natural use of your will.
  • You’ll notice from one exercise to the next that these thoughts appear less chaotic and will gradually begin diminishing until only a few thoughts emerge in your consciousness as if coming from afar.

Practice this first step until you gain the ability to easily control your thoughts by becoming aware of them. Mastering this first step is critical to the development of all other steps. In all forms of self-development nothing is more important than gaining control over your thoughts and being able to direct them in a willful and intentional manner. Only move on to the next step when you have completed this step sufficiently and have mastered it.

2) Thought Discipline and Developing Concentration

       This step deals with being able to concentrate our thoughts without letting other thoughts obtrude. What usually prevents us from concentrating solely on one idea for an extended period of time is that other thoughts having to do with our daily chores and annoyances spontaneously arise and distract us away from what we were thinking about. We must learn how to avoid thoughts that do not belong in our personal life while only entertaining those that do, and in doing so, we’ll become a different person altogether. In this exercise we will develop our ability to be present in our daily life in a fully attentive manner, and be able to concentrate our mind solely on one idea for an extended period of time without interruption from unwanted and meaningless thoughts.

  • Pick an idea, subject, or concept and direct all of your attention into that thought alone. As you concentrate on it and other thoughts obtrusively arise, redirecting your attention in an automatic fashion, become aware of them, and then simply remove you attention from them and place it back on your chosen subject. Resist all distractions repeatedly until they begin subsiding and you no longer have a problem staying focused for extended periods of time by maintaining full control of your attention.
  • Move this same idea out into your daily life and apply it in a broader sense. Whatever it is that you’re doing, be fully present in it with your full attention on it, and anytime a distraction arises as a thought that doesn’t pertain to the moment, become aware of it, and redirect your attention back into your present situation.
  • Remain present in your daily situations and only allow thoughts that pertain to the moment or situation occupy your mind. Anytime thoughts of the past or another situation arise and steal your attention, realize it, and redirect your attention back into the moment.
  • When you’re at work, block out thoughts of your personal life and focus all of your attention on work. When you leave work and go home to your private life, leave all thoughts of work behind, and think only about what pertains to your private life. As thoughts of work arise while in your private life, become aware of them, and consciously redirect your attention back into your present situation.
  • The more you practice the ability to control your attention, the easier and more natural it becomes.

This practice when mastered will have a huge impact on all areas of your life, and will greatly improve your ability to enter into a truly creative mode. The only time we can actually create in our life in an intentional and meaningful manner is in the “present moment”. Do not move on to the next step until this one has been mastered. Each step is required in order to be able to achieve the next.

3)  Mastery of Thoughts and Residing in Eternal Peace

This step teaches you how to create a complete vacancy of mind that’s void of thought and fully present in your inner sense of pure being. By subduing all active thought you enter into a fully relaxed state of inner peace and calmness. All stress subsides and you’re able to experience everything in a direct and actual manner rather than through the commentary of your thoughts. When all thought subsides we enter into a form of rapport with the present and we experience everything as it is in this moment without filtering it through the past and reshaping it to be like us through how we think about it. In this way, we form an entirely different relationship with life and become an entirely different person as a result.

  • Create a complete vacancy of mind while resisting all thoughts that try to command your attention. Empty your mind completely, and enter into a state of presence and pure being.
  • Rigorously reject any thought that competes for attention, and return to a complete mental vacancy. Do this repeatedly until thoughts begin completely subsiding and you exist in a state of pure beingness for an extended period of time.
  • Bring this same practice into the ordinary moments of your daily life by becoming fully present in whatever you’re doing, empty your mind of mental commentary and habitual thinking, and simply perceive things as they are in that moment. Form an expanded awareness of everything around you without letting thoughts about it enter your mind.

When you are able to stay in this state for a full 10 minutes, the purpose of this exercise has been achieved. This is important because it lays the foundation necessary for continued development.

Once you have mastered these three basic mind exercises and learned how to control and direct your attention and thoughts, you’ll be ready to move on to other steps in self-mastery that require self-control and your ability to use your will in an intentional and deliberate manner. By learning how to perceive things without a mental commentary or by bringing past ideas into the present and using them to create your experience of the present, you’ll be able to naturally correct perceptual errors that have become automatic and perceive things in a new light as they actually are a part from you and your preconceived judgments about them.

What Reactive Behaviors are showing you about Yourself

Reactive Behaviors show you the Areas of your Life that you’re still Unaware of

spiritual-awakening In order to understand this idea, we have to look at the nature of a reaction, and what’s actually happening when we react, as well as what it means to “heal” in the sense that it’s being used here. Someone who acts to stimulate you into a reactive state because of how they’re being, what they’re doing or saying, or how they’re treating you, shows you areas about yourself, that you still remain unaware of,  either through denial, repression, or conditioning of some sort. Anytime we begin reacting, we switch into a form of auto-pilot, and literally go unconscious to what’s happening and what it is we’re actually doing. We’re being “controlled” by the person or idea that’s eliciting an immediate reaction in us. Because of this instant, automated factor, we not only create out of an unconscious state, but we do so by repeating patterns born out of memory of the past, which is what gives us the pattern necessary to act out in an automated fashion, requiring no awareness or thought process on our part as to what we doing and why, let alone realizing the consequences we draw to ourselves while in the illusory state. Reactions come through associations of some sort that instantly references a memory where the same type of idea was being played out (which is the triggering mechanism), where we pull it out, superimpose it over the current situation using it to perceive it through, making it about the same idea, and act the same way we did in the memory, by making what’s happening in the present mean the same thing as the past. Our mind registers that “this” is the same as “that”. Because we make it mean the same thing, and therefore react in the same way, we can be triggered into a blind reaction by a behavior, tone of voice, a feeling, an attitude, an emotional state being demonstrated around us, the words being used, or through an idea being played out that we have strong emotional ties to that form what we call our “issues”. Reactions can be both of a good nature, stimulating positive emotions that bring about pleasurable experiences, or of a bad nature that stimulate negative emotions that are painful and violent, and ultimately destructive in nature. But no matter the nature of the experience it causes, it comes as being controlled by whomever or whatever is causing the reaction, and going unconscious in our own life and acting in a way that creates our experience, shapes us by way of our own self-created experiences, and renders a like reaction to our actions as a chain reaction, where what we do in a reactive state becomes the cause for producing an equal or greater reaction in others, which becomes self-perpetuating and gains momentum through escalation. This is the most basic form of repeating the past in the present, or being a product of our conditioning and what we call karma, and the basis for all “sin” as creating while in an unconscious state and unaware of what we’re doing, and therefore creating in error. DNA and the Pineal The opportunity being offered anytime we’re feeling stimulated inside to instantly react to something outside of us in a pronounced and intense manner, is it allows us to see what idea as a conditioned memory is still alive in us, able to be activated and repeated in the present, causing more of the same ideas and situations as in the past. In shows in what ways we are controllable by outside forces, and how we keep repeating the past in the present as a means of determining our future. It allows us to see what our karma is as unconscious tendencies that we repeat over and over without any actual realization of what we’re doing. It allows us to see things about ourselves that we don’t normally see or recognize, because we’re covering them up or justifying them (as being real) through the story that we keep telling ourselves about them that make them seem real and true, and therefore justify our right to feel the way we do and “keep” them. By realizing this ability to show us aspects of ourselves that we remain unaware of, where we build an illusion around it through the story we tell about it that makes it appear different than it really is, we fail to own it or be able to regulate it through awareness and willful action. If we completely remove all attention from the outside source causing the reaction, and instead place all of our attention on what’s happening inside of us that has nothing to do with what’s happening outside of us, we can see a process that takes place, instantly forming a “version of reality” that we systematically superimpose over the present situation as a means of instant interpretation that has a whole, preprogrammed pattern of behavior inherent in it as what we did before when the same thing happened to us. If we refrain from actually reacting while still letting the process that’s going on internally continue while observing it, we can notice what memory we associate to it, reference in relation to it, and use as an automated program for repeating a past idea by acting it out. We can notice what begins running through our mind as a story we start telling ourselves “about” what’s happening and what it means about us, other people, and the way the world is in general. Through reactive behaviors we repeat the patterns of the past in the present and they set the basis for our creating more of the same idea in our future. If we turn all our attention inwardly while allowing the reactive state to continue playing out in us, we’ll get a very clear idea on what areas in our life still remain unresolved and alive inside of us, that we’re continuing to create out of. Through awareness alone, we can see our own internal process for how “we create” the reactive state as a means of cooperating with the same quality of consciousness in the present that we did in the past. We can witness what we’re doing to create our reactive state. Nobody ever “makes us” do anything, they just provide the stimulus for us to do it to ourselves. We create the inner state which produces the outer behavior as what we call a reaction that’s compulsive in nature. Nobody ever really controls us, we simply fail to be able to control ourselves, and in doing so, allow ourselves to be controlled by others. Because we imagine that something’s being done “to us” by another, we claim no responsibility for our own actions, and instead blame it on the person causing it. Blame itself is an illusion, because our internal state is always being conducted by us, and whatever is being done to us, is being done by us through a lack of self-awareness as to who’s doing the doing. So by becoming aware of what memories we have associated to reactive tendencies, and how our memories of the past continue to define us by shaping our experiences in the present, we can neutralize the “triggering mechanism” as an emotional charge, and in doing so, consciously decide how we want to perceive and respond to whatever is happening in the present moment, with full awareness of what we’re doing and what will result from what we’re doing. howtoraise_compressed Most of our memories as our primal conditioning are created by the mind of a child ingrained with a certain nature, predisposition, temperament, and tendencies, as an “interpretation” of events and activities in order to make sense of them, which comes by way of the meaning we give them that fashions the story we begin telling ourselves about them as a result. This story, formed from the imagination, intelligence and emotional state of a child, forms our “core beliefs” as the reality of our story and what’s required to sustain it, which is a personal creation as an illusion, which continues into our adulthood, where we continue perceiving reality according to our childhood story. Our beliefs shape our reality, not in the literal sense of the external elements themselves, but in terms of what we see and don’t see in any situation and how we interpret it to give it the meaning it holds for us as the means of experiencing it, while shaping our identity by way of our story about things. In this way, our memories, which are formed largely through an imaginary process of storytelling based on not knowing the true reality or other facts to what’s going on and only viewing it from “our perspective”, becomes our programming as our perceptual lens and mental filtering system, which forms the basis of all our perceptions of what we call reality, which is in fact a subjective experience of an outer objective reality. In this way our beliefs replace “actual” objective reality as an illusion that becomes a delusion, because we live out of this illusion as though it was true and thereby making it true for us. As we witness the whole process that’s taking place within us, and being conducted by us, while shutting off all reference to the outside conditions and circumstances prompting the internal process, we can see clearly the illusion of it. We can see what we’re doing to ourselves to create the emotional state of the reaction. Through this self-awareness of the true reality of the situation, neutralizes the emotional charge as the triggering mechanism, dulling the compulsiveness, and in that moment of calm where their used to be a storm, we realize we have a choice. We can choose how to first perceive it in a new light from a new (mature) perspective by staying in the present with what’s actually happening now, and how we want to respond accordingly. What originated as a thoughtless, knee jerk reaction, becomes a thoughtful relaxed response. In this way, the only thing that has changed, is that we took control of our own internal process instead of forfeiting it to others. We move from being “other referencing” to being “self-referencing”. By becoming aware of what we were previously unaware of, it loses its grip on us, and we find ourselves easily taking control of what was previously out of control. Once we realize that our “perception as an interpretation” is actually something we do with our mind as a process of association and referencing the past with the present, we can actively engage in incorporating new models and paradigms necessary to form new types of experiences. We can literally take control of our own internal mental processes and direct them in an intelligent and deliberate manner by learning how to work by way of the laws as natural processes of the mind to create reality as a personal interpretation of what originates from a neutral set of events, completely devoid of personal meaning. Things only mean what we make them mean. Meaning is something we assign to material things as a way of interpreting them through a story about them as a way of experiencing them while simultaneously fashioning ourselves by way of our own perceptions. We can realize, that any time we experience being controlled by somebody else through a reaction were forming to them, we can realize that what’s actually happening is we are failing to take control of ourselves and turning over that right to another by remaining unaware of our own internal experience as a creative process. As we become aware of how we create our experiences, and we learn how to take control of our own internal processes, we come to a place where we no longer react, and instead remain relaxed and calm inside, and able to think clearly through an isolated state of inner peace. By taking control of our own mind, we exist in a constant state of introspection, that once we master, forms inner peace as self-awareness, responsibility, and competency in regards to our own self-creation and soul evolution. Vibration as Patterns of Energy – Fractal Patterns and the Soul’s Personal Signature for Creating

Perception is Reality

The nature of vibration is a sound frequency that shapes light into imagery and living ideas as potential scenarios. Vibration forms geometric patterns which structure the material world at the subatomic level. DNA, blood, and body tissue, for example, are formed out of pentagons and hexagons which are combined to form composite structures. All material matter in its most fundamental state is made up of photons as visible light that has zero mass and charge. Light, of course is invisible to the eye, so matter as a form of some kind is comprised of a non-material substance and is mostly invisible. An atom is a composition of subatomic particles that can either form into a series of particles revolving around a nucleus, or transform into a wave-form as more of a misty, cloud-like impression. All atoms possess both particle and wave properties, and only exist as a particle (something specific) when being observed or measured by a mind. When not being observed, it reverts back to a wave form that exists in a “potential state”. Vibration as subtle energy or essence, has a self-organizing mechanism that shapes matter (light) into forms that have distinct properties, modes of consciousness, and behave in specific ways while engaging in certain types of activities.

The structures that in-form a material body as a living entity, which is primarily geometric in nature, determine its quality and level of consciousness as a form of personality or personal signature that forms the basis for its individuality and unique characteristics. Subtle energy is the consciousness that inhabits and gives life to the material body, in which it first fashions (makes the cellular structure), and then consciously inhabits and uses as a vehicle for expressing through by forming an initial or parent pattern as a frequency or energetic signature, much like a theme that further shaped by a personal style, that continues to express and thereby create out of that same thematic pattern, forming all perception of reality as an offspring or analogous version of the same nature and likeness. These smaller fractal patterns as offspring of the parent pattern, form in a spiraling motion as expanding outward from center (projecting and superimposing), providing and energetic template that restructures the sensory reality its interacting with to vibrate at the same frequency, and then absorbs the corresponding reality as an “experience” that’s a form of regeneration, replication, and propagation.

The parent (original) pattern exists as a thematic idea, that extends outward as a mental projection, superimposing the vibratory frequency as an “organizing mechanism” onto everything outside of itself, reshaping the basic elements involved into the same type of idea, as an analogy to itself, then as it plays out its own idea about life, it captures its own pattern or projected frequency as an experience of itself that produces feedback, that’s absorbed into itself, sustaining and nourishing itself with more of the same frequency or idea, which is acquired as a memory. The soul-mind acts to rearrange the elemental properties of light in the outer world into the same pattern or idea as a corresponding vibration or quality of consciousness (through resonance), and sees (perceives) itself through its own arrangement, then absorbs that idea back into itself as its own self-created experience. In this way the soul acts to create all of its life experiences out of its vibratory frequency as a primary form of self-expression, creating experiences of the same nature that it then acquires as memories that it uses to continue creating itself as a form of self-programming out of the same vibratory frequency.

Whatever frequency we vibrate at, which is a distinct level and quality of consciousness as a paradigm or mental model of the world, we create more of as a projection (directed attention) and resonance that creates (interprets and composes) the outer to match (be of the same nature) the inner, creating our own personal experiences as a primal form of self-expression. Perception is an interpretation as a reformulated version of an outer neutral reality (elements) to conform to an idea as a thematic story that produces smaller patterns of the same type as the mental paradigm forming them. The object or material world being observed, and the individual mind doing the observing are a part of the same event or “reality”. How the outer reality appears to us as a form of interpretation, is a product of our own mind.

Vibration is a frequency as a range of vibration that forms a structured model as a mental paradigm, which modifies light (matter) into the same type of pattern as an offspring or natural product of the pattern itself. It doesn’t do this by changing the actual objective elements of what we call a shared, outer reality, but by changing how it “appears” in terms of the meaning we give it as the means for telling a story about it that creates how we experience it. We only notice and abstract from the outer environment and reorganize into a new composition what’s necessary to form our story about it. Our mental paradigm shapes how we experience all of life as the basic creative ability of the mind as a natural form of self-expression, much like an artist interprets their subject by how they “represent it” through their own personal style. How we “see the world” is how we see ourselves within that world through the relationship we form with it. The same model creates both our inner and outer perception. The outer is the equivalent reflection of the inner, which is produced by the vibrational structure of the mind as our mode of consciousness.

Subtle energy as vibration or “mental states”, organizes and transforms photons as energetic essence into the indigenous patterns of that vibration. Material substance is produced (created) by the concentration and organization of consciousness into living (moving) patterns of a distinct nature or personality. The nature of the patterns as a living entity forms classifications or species, which are further endowed with distinct personalities and characteristics as natural behaviors that comes as self-expression and creation. As we express through perception, which, through resonance, changes the appearance of the material world to take on the same image (form) and likeness (qualities) as the mind producing them. The mind as the individual soul only resonates (acts to vibrate) with the same frequencies as “qualities with characteristics” in the outer world, which changes the active and receptive properties within the circumstances, re configuring them into a new version that matches the mind producing it. Energy as vibration directed into material objects as attention with intention, through resonance, stimulates only what’s of the same nature as a vibration, entering into it, becoming one with it as sympathetic induction, and effects it, altering its state to match the state interacting with it, forming coherence (equalizes) as harmony which modifies the purely material aspect into the pattern or quality of reality as the mind that’s organizing it.

Matter, as photons of light held together by invisible forces to form bodies (objects), doesn’t have consciousness (self-awareness and will) of its own, and acts merely as the passive receptor of individual consciousness as vibration, and shape-shifts according to the vibration inhabiting it. This is self-evident by the fact that we always see whatever we expect to see in a situation, and we act to trigger or stimulate the same state in others, which changes their behavior to match ours and they cooperate in acting out the same idea with us. While their physical form itself remains the same, technically speaking, how they appear and the nature of the energy driving their behavior can be strikingly different based on what state of mind they’re embodying. The mind only sees what it wants to see, and can only see what can be perceived through its mental model. It’s only capable of seeing what matches it. The nature and character of the individual produces their own version and experience of reality as the natural product of their mind.

If an idea exists outside of our model or mental paradigm, and we don’t have the ability to shape it into a mental concept as an internal reality or working model, we literally can’t conceive of it. It’s not real to us, and we reject it or argue against it. We can’t understand it, because it makes no sense to us. It’s only by being able to form a mental concept of something as “real”, understandable and therefore possible, that we can also perceive it in the outer world. In this way all “reality” (what’s real to us) is created by the mind as a unique and individual possibility. All of life as we know it is a product of our level and quality of consciousness. The mind (individual) literally produces a unique version of reality. Objective reality as nature, the original creation, or a dynamic living matrix of a broader range of frequencies all interwoven and existing within each other, is created by the universal mind of mass consciousness, and produces all the frequencies necessary for an infinite number of possibilities as potential realities, which are produced systematically by the individual mind.

Matter as light exists as a neutral aspect of consciousness, and is “impregnated” by consciousness, which in-forms it by shaping it into the pattern of the consciousness animating it. Matter, as photons of light, shape-shifts based on interaction (stimulation) as observation by the individual mind perceiving it. It forms into a complementary form as a correlation with the mind. Matter only exists as “something specific” when being perceived and interpreted (reformed into a correspondence) by the mind. It has no existence (specific form) outside of the mind. If a mind is not observing or perceiving it, it doesn’t exist “as” something, but rather turns back into a wave of potential as an impressionistic form that contains all forms within it in their potential state. The act of observing and the object being observed are a part of the same event or creative process. Matter is an illusion that caters and conforms to whatever mind is interacting with it. All of reality as we know it is an illusion as a possible variation produced by the minds ability to change the appearance of things to be whatever we believe, need, or want them to be. Our perception of the material world is an interpretation of what’s “real for us” and therefore “true”. The only thing that’s true is what we say is true and can be perceived by us as being real. The only absolute truth is the realization that all of life as we know it is an illusion or personal version created by the mind itself. Just as all of life comes from and exists within the Universal Mind of God, the individual life comes from and exists within the individual mind of the soul.

Learning how to Exercise the Powers of our own Mind

When we use the term “meditation”, who knows exactly what it means, because like all words and ideas it means different things to different people. Some perceive it as stopping all thought as internal dialogue or calming the “talking mind”, others call it blending into the void (nothingness) and emptying the mind, which is kind of the same idea, others achieve it through chanting or repeating a sound or word as a mantra (which is a basic method of trance induction); and others may be completely confused or unsure of what it means. Yet, all of these ideas are true and untrue at the same time. Meditation, which is a form of trance or self-hypnosis, is primarily a calming or stilling of the internal dialogue (self-conscious mind) as the fluttery,  jumping from one subject to the next, or the type of thought that’s automatic, uncontrolled, and runs on and on about stuff in a repetitive manner like a “broken record”, stuck on replay, and instead forms a calm and passive state of mind and through a deepened state of concentration, enters into a singular mind with the idea or concept being concentrated on. Through this single-mindedness of becoming one with an idea, we penetrate that idea or enter into it as it (resonance), giving it life inside of us by thinking about it in terms of what we already know about it, which initiates and unfolding process, much like a growth process, which continues unfolding beyond the boundaries set by our current perception, where we attain knowledge of it by simply witnessing or observing it as it continues to unfold, revealing it’s secrets to us, allowing us to “attain knowledge” by being in a passive and receptive (trance) state.

It’s only through this passive state of simply focusing on and observing an idea in motion inside of us that we’re not acting to control, that we truly learn through direct experience. Anytime we’re in a controlled state of only thinking about what we already know or believe we know, and controlling the idea to fit our idea about it, we can’t readily perceive anything outside of it. While we’re in control of our thinking, we can only perceive (produce) more of the same type of thinking. When, however, we fixate our mind on an idea, and penetrate it by concentrating on it in a single-minded fashion, stimulating it into motion within us as a kind of growth process of deepening into its internal nature, we “see” it as it actually is, apart from us (not modifying it with our active mind). As we move into it with a neutral and unbiased mind it begins moving inside of us as a living force, and begins revealing its true nature to us. We then attain knowledge of it by simply observing it as it forms and moves within our mind as a living idea.

Anytime we become fully present and engage in an activity with full awareness as concentration, free of distractions or thoughts that replace and cover over or modify our actual experience, we are in a meditative state. When we practice constant meditation by becoming fully present with what we are doing, and we become one with our experience of the present activity or idea we’re engaged in, we form realization around it that brings a new awareness of it that went unnoticed with a half-minded state of constant distraction and mental preoccupation that prevents us from being in the present. By being present and concentrating our attention on what we’re doing and our experience in doing it, we attain constant realizations that eluded us whenever we weren’t paying attention. Many people as a general rule can spend the better part of their life never present with what they’re doing and how they’re being, but rather caught up in a constant thought process that has nothing to do with what they’re doing. Because of this human tendency to be consumed by a wandering, fluttery, spaced out mind, we can live the better part of our life from an unconscious delusional state. Because of this, we fail to learn and grow from our experiences, and simply run the same type of thoughts over and over, creating our current experiences out of delusions or beliefs of the past, and failing to learn through realization only obtained in the present.

A state of meditation, comes from our ability to control our mind, stay focused in the present, and penetrate ideas born out of our daily practices as concentration on the now. All true knowledge as an inner realization only comes to us through direct experience. It’s our experiences obtain with an open mind that show us the true nature of things. Our mind, through concentrated attention void of verbal thinking, or superimposing a belief over the present experience changing it, and simply being present with it, observing and experiencing it as it is, attains knowledge “of it” through self-awareness. All knowledge comes to us by becoming “one with an idea”, and perceiving it by being it. By being the mode through which it expresses, we perceive it “as us”. We become the channel through which it becomes realized as an inner experience or realization.

This penetrative quality of the mind that learn by entering into, uniting with, and becoming the same as (vibration, sympathetic induction, and coherence), can be easily understood through extended practices of deep concentration on an idea, free from all distractions and the need to “control the idea” with preconceived notions. By thinking about an idea with a singular mind, we resonate with it, enter into it, become the same as it, and learn about it from within it or within us. By “being the same as it” in body, mind, and spirit. By taking on the same quality and consciousness. We perceive it by conceiving of it (allowing it to impregnate us). We understand it from the perspective of being within it or having it within us, by experiencing it through our mind. In this way, all learning as the realization of truth comes as an inner process of concentrated thought which acts as a “receptor”. Our mind has the ability to enter into (sympathize with) ideas, and gain knowledge of them from the inside out. We become one with its consciousness, and understand it by observing its reality from the same mind-set.

So we don’t necessarily meditate to control or stop thinking and blend into a void or nothingness, which is only the initial stage of meditation that frees the mind from random thoughts that distract it, scattering its power to concentrate, but rather as the means for inducing a trance state that removes the conscious mind (talking mind) from its normal state of dominance, rendering it passive and inactive, and making the passive and receptive subconscious (experiential) mind dominant and active instead. Once we calm the sporadic automatic thoughts, creating an empty spaciousness as an open arena, we can introduce an idea into our mind as a kind of seed with hidden potential, and grow it by giving it our full, undivided attention. Through concentration we penetrate it, activate it, become the same as it in mind and body, and gain realization of it by being one with it (within us). We gain “knowledge of it” through the self-realization of being the same as it. Through focused concentration on a single idea for extended periods of time, we know it inside and out, and it becomes a permanent part of us. We incorporate it into our mind (paradigm) as an experience, which becomes memory. Once we form a memory of it as a direct experience of it, it can be recalled and referenced, and exists as an inherent and natural part of us. We only “attain” knowledge, as self-knowledge through exercising the concentrative powers of our mind (will).

By concentrating our attention on an idea, becoming one with it, we become the same as it, vibrate at the same level of consciousness, and readily perceive that same consciousness of the idea in everyone and everything around us. Once we “know and understand” an idea, it’s fully integrated into our paradigm or mental structure, which forms the lens and filtering system that we look through to perceive everything else. Once we know by becoming the same as, forming a memory of it as our soul’s structure, we resonate with that idea, no matter what form it takes on in everything around us. It becomes a natural part of us and helps form our understanding of everything else. Our experiences become memory which inform us by giving us instant interpretations of what appears to be random information (organizes everything into coherent patterns). Once we attain a memory of something, the knowledge in that memory remains apart of us and is instantly recalled and associated as a part of our normal mental processes of perceiving ourselves (the same structures) in everything external to us. Meditation is the method of learning through direct internal experience of the internal nature of the idea itself (soul-to-soul), where we become fixated on, and experience it from within us as an inherent part of us.

The True Reality of Forgiveness – The Realization of Illusion that’s Co-Delusional

A Problem can’t be Solved from the Same Mind that Created it . . .

In order to truly understand the reality of forgiveness, we have to look squarely at the nature of what we call “reality”. Reality in the general sense that it’s commonly used, is whatever we perceive as being “real” in terms of what we naturally see in any situation, have a shared belief around, and automatically engage in with others who share the same reality with us. What’s real to us is a product of our own “quality of consciousness” which acts naturally to generate different “versions of reality” as an outer expression of an inner dialogue or imagining. Our reality, as the creation and expression of our consciousness, is formed as a story that we’re always engaged in telling (projecting) and seeing the outer world through our inner perceptual lens, which we react and interact with through the natural relationships that we form with it. What we “see” in any situation is of the same level and quality of consciousness as we are, and we act naturally to tell the same type of story by living it out through drama’s and the behaviors that ensue from those dramas through the activities inherent in our story.

This personal creation of a specific type of reality as an expression of our quality of consciousness, is an illusion of our own making out of a belief system or series of harmonious theme’s and patterns that are the natural offspring of our consciousness as a vibratory frequency. Vibration as frequencies (range of vibration) has a self-organizing mechanism inherent in it that spontaneously forms patterns. These patterns are consciousness are creative in nature and generates thematic realities as individual perceptions. This means that our vibratory frequency is a quality and level of consciousness as primarily a belief system or series of interrelated and congruent patterns that all create a cohesive and consistent version of reality as a “life theme” or drama that we perceive naturally, attract and are attracted to, and are always in the process of acting out as a life drama or certain type of experience with those of the same consciousness or indigenous thematic patterning. When we engage in these dramas with others, because they’re our own creation and therefore real to us, we are directly affected by them. We have strong feelings associated with them, and react to them (engage automatically), find them pleasurable and profound, or painful and destructive. But no matter “how” we’re affected by them, we are affected in a pronounced manner. This comes from believing them to be true instead of realizing them as the self-made delusion they really are.

As long as we’re of the same consciousness we create the same type of experiences with others, we perceive them as being capable of hurting us, attacking us, or ultimately shaping us through their perception of us and behavior towards us. Because of this “shared belief” in the reality we co-create with them and fully participate in as if it’s real, we believe that they have power over us through their ability to continue effecting us through the story we play out together, and we struggle with the idea of what it means to “forgive them” for perceived trespasses (wrong doing). We then develop an idea of what it means to forgive them from the same perspective and mind-set of the perceived injury, which, of course, is impossible to do. In this way, we simply create more illusions around the idea of what it means to forgive (in an attempt to actually do it), and continue to define ourselves (be effected by) our own delusions.

When we can gain self-realization around our own tendencies and can honestly realize that the story we’re telling ourselves about another, what happened, what they did to us, and so on, is actually an illusion or story that we made up about it that shaped how we experienced it, and what we believed to be true about it as a result, and in “seeing” this reality clearly, and therefore no longer fooled by it, we stop believing in it and acting to cooperatively participate in co-creating it by being a part of it as an imaginary story, and, in realizing this, it no longer holds true for us. Once we see the illusions of our life and no longer believe in them, or act naturally to co-create them, we no longer perceive being effected by them. Because we’re no longer effected we don’t react and produce the behavior of them anymore (being hurt, sad, humiliated, disappointed, betrayed, etc.). Once we become clear on what our part was in telling or living out the illusion as a co-creation of that types of reality and experience, it loses its hold on us, we dissociate from it, see it in a detached and objective manner, and in that moment, we realize, there’s nothing to forgive. The perception of the “need to forgive” comes from still being within or a part of the same consciousness that perceived and experienced the injury, and is reacting to it (still believing in it) by needing to no longer be effected by it (forgive). The injury and therefore the need to forgive the injury all come from sharing in the same illusion of reality or level of consciousness. Forgiveness can’t be attained through the same level of consciousness, it can only be achieved by moving into a higher level of consciousness that no longer perceives being injured by the actions of another.

Once the illusion is dissolved for us, and we realize that the other person(s) is still caught up in the illusion, and believes it’s real, and so honestly doesn’t know any better, they no longer stimulate us with their attitude and behavior towards us, or the type of activities they continue to engage in. We move into a different way of seeing the same reality that makes it seem very different and a part from us. We are no longer invested in that reality, and so don’t participate in co-creating it. Because we experience a “shift in consciousness” where we no longer perceive the same reality, we no longer attract or are attracted to it, and virtually are no longer even able to “see it”. It no longer holds us hostage by continuously thinking about it within the pain it caused, and within a very short period of time, we forget about it, and we forget about them. We go for longer and longer periods of time without thinking about them or remembering the experience we went through with them, until we hardly ever think about them, and even when we do through an association of some sort, experience it (talk about it) in a completely detached and unemotional manner. We experience the memory in a “matter of fact” way, and no longer identify with it, or the state we were in (who we were) when we willingly participated in it.

When we move to a different level of consciousness, and shift our vibratory frequency, we become fully engaged in the perception of the reality inherent in that level of consciousness. A movement to a higher level of consciousness comes by way of self-realization as a paradigm shift where we are literally of a different mind and we “become” a different person by “being” of a different quality of consciousness which engages in a whole new version of reality as its natural offspring or self-expression. We begin living a whole new story told from a new perspective and we “become” a new person by way of that story. As we shift between dimensions as qualities of consciousness, we no longer remember the previous ones, and so we truly “forget them”. They are no longer a part of us, we no longer create out of them, and we no longer identify with them. They then feel foreign to us. They are of a different frequency and no longer perceivable by our mind and soul.

To forgive, is truly to forget . . . .

The Nature of Personal Power – “How to Become Empowered in your own Life while Empowering others in Theirs”

The quest for personal power takes on many faces, and can present a real dilemma for many people, most of which induce an endless compromise as a negotiation between unconscious-feeling aspects of themselves, and conscious-aware aspects. Whether or not we “own” our power and employ it as part of our personality and normal ways of doing things is not based on our conditioning in the typical sense, but rather how we respond to the events and activities of our life that establish and develop our identity. Even our conditioning and how we’re trained to certain dynamics being acted out and what role in that dynamic we take on as a part of our natural personality, develops the story we begin living out of that gives us a sense of ourselves by way of that story. We begin taking on a position early in life of either defiance, or stubbornly standing our ground when others act to intimidate or exercise power over us, or we back down, submit, become meek and emotionally weak, and allow them to control us, and thereby determine us.

Whatever role we take on in the dynamic we’re raised with develops us according to that role, and the story we begin developing in our minds as a way of understanding the way people are, and the way life is, also comes to define us in relation to it all. The story we begin telling ourselves as a way of making sense of it all, becomes the role we take on in general, and how we come to identify with our own story about things. We develop “interactive dynamics” out of our story about things where we are either in a position of self-control and initiation, or where we’re reacting to being controlled and manipulated by others through a reactive state.

 
When we feel powerless, there are typically a couple of ways we approach it, either succumbing to it and being a victim, helpless to change while suffering because of it, or we begin the quest of “getting” power by taking it from others. Some engage in a constant process of trying to exercise control over others or a situation by being manipulative, coercive or antagonistic. They’re always trying to figure out what they need to do to get others to do what they want them to do. They design their behavior strictly according to manipulative strategies that rely on a victim mentality that will give into them. In this dynamic, the person seeking power has to hook-up with the person whose willing to give up their power, and the victim who lacks power or looks to readily give theirs away, hooks up with the villain who gladly takes it. We always form relationships with our complementary opposite and continue acting out dynamics as a form of negotiation and soul-bartering.

 
You can always tell the difference between who has power and who doesn’t by their behaviors and what attitude they’re expressing and demonstrating. These same type of dynamics are being played out in all areas of our life, through various relationships, whether they be friendships, romantic, siblings, parent-child, social, or in the workplace. Whatever idea a person is imprinted with is integrated into their psychology and becomes a dynamic part of even their most basic behaviors. It becomes a natural part of who they are and how they’re being as a fundamental part of their personality and identity that they carry with them into all of their life-situations.

All relationships involve an interaction of consciousness as energetic dynamics formed by complementary opposites, that act on each other, stimulating in each other the opposite expression of the same trait that they share in common, that together form the interactive roles necessary to act out a dynamic as a joint reality that reinforces and strengthens each persons role in that dynamic. In every relationship you have the attraction and interaction of opposites as active and passive, masculine and feminine, outer and inner, and dominant and recessive. When relationships first form, one person or element establishes dominance over the other, which sets into motion a larger dynamic that the relationship serves to act out. In a healthy relationship, the roles of dominance are shared and move back and forth depending on what they’re doing or dealing with, where each individual’s strengths and powers are utilized to serve the greater good of both as a unit or interactive whole. This “dynamic-duo” action utilizes the strength of both as a dance with life. Here power is shared and equally moves between them as a coordinated effort or psychological strategy. In unhealthy relationships that exist with a lack of balance, one person consistently dominates and intimidates the other into submission, even when they clearly lack knowledge and abilities in the area of life they’re dealing with. This is where one person wants to exercise exclusive control over the other through a form of dictatorship, that ultimately becomes abusive. In this type of situation, one is always in the process of trying to get power by taking it from the other, and a power struggle ensues. The other usually responds by retaliating and contesting, purposely deceiving them behind their back, or by becoming passive and weak while building resentment that turns into hatred.

 
In any situation or behavioral dynamic being acted out as a relationship, you can immediately establish who has power, who’s looking to get power by taking it, and who readily surrenders and gives up their power while succumbing to the will of another in order to be accepted, loved, or to be apart of things. A person who has power, and therefore doesn’t need to get it from others or establish it outwardly through station or status, is not only comfortable in themselves, but act to stimulate others through the demonstration of their own power, employing them in a sense through a form of shared power. When we outwardly demonstrate power, we inspire others to access their own power in relation to us. We don’t necessarily give our power to those who don’t have power of their own, but rather when we demonstrate power as confidence and clarity of mind and purpose, we give them an example of what power is, what it feels like, and how to recognize it in others and themselves. Just through the nature of our interaction we connect them with that same internal resource, activate it in response to us, and call it forth in them, while giving them an example as a possible means for expressing it by stepping into it and becoming it.

 
Because true personal power is the most valued human commodity, and so few people actually possess it, and even fewer people know how to openly and comfortably express it by demonstrating it, many have no role-model that gives them a clear idea of what power looks and feels like when you’re in the presence of it. This is largely because power is a self-contained quality that’s connected to and drawn on completely from an internal source and not sought outwardly through an interaction of some sort. When we’re in the “presence” of those who are powerful we form an immediate sense of admiration for them, that causes us to feel a certain way, where we naturally access those same qualities in ourselves by resonating with them and entering into a natural state of rapport with them. Because of this, we feel more powerful when we’re around them. By watching their behavior and attitude, we can model (imitate) it, and in doing so bring out in us the same feeling. We can acquire a behavior as a form of template or instruction for learning “how” to be in our power. We can then “practice” being in such a way that we connect to the inner resources of “being that way” becoming a channel for expressing that quality which reshapes our character according to it.

geneIn order to access and develop a quality, we have to have a behavior or means for “being it”, that through the practice, we become like it. If we don’t have a pathway or way of doing something, we often stop at the realization of not knowing what to do or how to do it. This is what many people experience as being “stuck” when they’re attempting to change and transform their ability to manifest new realities by expressing in new ways. When it’s demonstrated for us, it acts to stimulate those same feelings in us, while giving us a model to imitate. By embracing that feeling while employing the same type of behaviors, we become the same in mind and body, and cultivate the same feeling state as a way of being in ourselves.

 
Whatever “state-of-being” is around us, we feel it’s presence through resonance, which activates those same feelings and qualities in us, calling them forth in response to it. As we “observe” the outward behaviors that express and inward feeling, and we “enter into them” through a state of rapport as inspiration (admiration), we naturally take on the same type of behaviors, becoming the outward expression of the same feeling-quality, and in being “one with it”, become the same as it. We not only access the same feeling-state within us that’s comparable to the outer state stimulating it, but we become the vehicle for expressing that state, and cultivate ourselves by way of that state to “be” like it.

 
This is the phenomenon of the most basic laws that govern our mind-body system as resonance (like begets like), sympathetic induction (vibration enters into the same vibration in another and produces an effect), and coherence that reorganizes the similar patterns of both to form a new pattern as a new whole. Whatever quality as a state of mind being outwardly demonstrated, stimulates, awakens, and brings into active expression that same feeling-state in everything around it. As it activates it and calls it forth, it becomes the basis of their interaction, which is the interactive expression of that same shared quality in both people. As it’s expressed through the dynamic (behavioral pattern) being acted out as the means for expression, it’s developed and strengthened in both people, and develops our character and tendencies through the shared enactment. We become one with the quality itself as a power, and it acts on us to reshape us into a new form and gives us a new way of being as the channel for expressing that characteristic.

energySo the quest for power that’s always going on, even when we don’t realize it or recognize it as such, is always acting on us to shape us in response to it. We only grow by what we resist. By recognizing this, we move into a position of not being affected by it by reacting to it in an automatic fashion, and we realize in that moment of control that we can “choose” our response. Once we begin realizing what’s going on energetically, while actively choosing how or if we’re going to respond, we begin exercising the first stages of taking back possession of our power to self-create and become self-determined through masterful use of our will. We can begin taking an objective view of any situation, seeing the underlying dynamic going on, and interact with it accordingly, with full awareness of what we’re doing and why. In this way we can truly exercise our power over the emotions of others and the material world, not by beating it into submission, but by entering into it while still maintaining full awareness of what we’re doing, become one in mind and body with it, then introduce an influence that will naturally bring out different qualities in others, and in doing so, lead it in a whole new direction through a state of complete cooperation.

 
This ability to work with the energy and consciousness of a situation is the exercise of true power and psychological dominion over the material plane as the ultimate form of leadership, where people don’t even realize they’re being led, and where you act to naturally bring out the best in people that creates an activity that serves the greater good in the most beneficial way possible for everyone involved. In a business sense, the greater good is the vision and mission of the business, and in an intimate relationship, the greater whole is the best possible response that brings out the best in each other and develops it through a loving and intimate interaction.

 
When we are in full possession of our own mind and body and able to operate it with strategic intelligence, we simultaneously realize that our power over others comes as a direct result of our power over ourselves, and the most natural way we control others is by how we influence them through our own behaviors. Not by attempting to exercise power over them or by reducing them to an inferior status, but by becoming an example for them to follow. We lead them by inspiring them in such a way that it brings out the best in them through an elevated state of being, that we then enter into a concert with becoming an example for them to imitate. We first act to bring out the necessary qualities and traits in others by embodying them ourselves, then give them a pathway for expressing them through the example we set, that elevates their station, and develops them through higher character traits to be fully empowered in their own lives by using their will as it’s intended to self-create and become a productive part of a greater idea to which they resonate and aspire towards. This not only creates a state of cooperation and uninhibited participation, but a sense of enthusiasm and passion that forms a deep sense of complete and utter devotion to the greater whole of which they are now an active and important part. The best way we lead as a demonstration of our power is by eliciting “love” in others through the beauty of our expressive abilities to inspire and enlighten and calls them to rise to new heights as an equal response to us.

Understanding Laws of the Mind and how we Create Reality “The Mind doesn’t know how to process a Negative”

Whatever we focus on and think about, good or bad, we act to create as an internal, personal reality, which strengthens and adds to that reality in the objective sense. Thought is what directs life-force energy, and uses it to give life to the thoughts, growing them into a living reality as an imagined conceptualization. Random thought, given to us as a form of suggestion, plants a seed-idea in our mind, which are readily taken in without resistance, allowed to take hold and grow within us as a full imaginary scenario. We picture ideas as a reality in order to grasp them or get a working understanding of how they function and what they imply as a result. Once we conceptualize them as a living reality, we put them into context of some sort, usually within our own lives, and begin developing them by giving them details, which personalize them by conforming them to us as a form of adaptation that has the potential to modify it into numerous variations as possible applications.

 
Once we form an inner picture of an idea as a virtual reality, we experience an emotional reaction to our own thoughts, which marries that emotion to the thought, and working together we continue to develop it as a modified reality that expresses the emotion within the context of the thought that shapes it through meaning as a story-line that gives it significance. Meaning (emotional thought) is the composer (forms a story) and the significance it has determines how it plays out as a story within the context we imagine it in that produces a meaningful and therefore significant outcome.

 
The reason why the approach to “fighting” or the “war against” any idea never works, and in fact only acts to create more of the idea itself by making it even more prevalent, is because it fails to operate within the natural laws of the mind, which is the builder of realities based on what we focus on, give our attention too, the emotional charge connected to it, and the thought-process they elicit that pictures and develops the very idea you’re trying to vanquish by opposing it. The only purpose identifying a problem has is to determine what the solution would be, or what would serve to counteract or resolve it. Once this is determined, in order to get people to create the idea that resolves the problem, you have to talk about the solution while infusing it with a positive emotional charge that inspires people towards it. By talking about what you “do want” to create, you likewise plant that seeded thought into their minds and they will naturally act to develop it by thinking about it into a believable reality that can be implemented in a practical manner within their everyday life.

This is a classic example of how we error (sin) when not working within the laws of nature because we fail to understand them and don’t know how to use our own mind, which operates perfectly according to law, to consciously create the desired reality instead of creating more of the very thing we fear and were ultimately traumatized by. By realizing this fully will help you to quit talking and posting endlessly about the problems and what you don’t want more of, and begin instead talking and posting only about the reality you will act as a seed to plant in the minds of others who will serve to develop them based on the attitude and emotion you use as the nature out of which the idea is expressed, to begin increasing it until it becomes a form of mass consciousness that eventually takes on a life of it’s own, and begins transforming the global mindset ushering in a new way of thinking. We have to become the change we’re seeking to create by demonstrating it, not acting to amplify the problem itself by complaining about or criticizing it while offering no solution.

 
Often, the reason people don’t talk about positive solutions to worldly problems is because they don’t know what they are. Some don’t even talk about the problems because they’re not sure what they are, and have to wait for someone else to tell or show them what they are, and why they should be concerned about them. Thinking of solutions or alternatives takes a great deal more intelligence and creativity than simply pointing out the problems, which often doesn’t really require much. Many spout out lofty sayings as what they imagine the answer is, yet give no directives or defined methods for actually “doing them”. There is a real tendency amongst people to talk endlessly about the content of an idea, while never discussing the methods for actually doing or applying it. When it comes to “how to do it”, they go silent, sit and stare, or change the subject. Yet the only way an idea can produce an effect is if action is taken based the idea to bring it into the practical realm of everyday life. Ideas that simply remain thoughts or imagined ideas, while they may elevate the mood of a situation, or give someone else an idea that they will develop into a method, seldom ever come into fruition in the material realm, which always requires “doing”.

 
So just allow yourself to quietly contemplate the true power of the spoken word, which is spoken both internally as thought (internal dialogue), as well as externally as the expression of the thought, and train your mind to only think and speak what you want to manifest as a personal reality . . . because it will. The story you tell about anything demonstrates your belief about that idea as a conceptualization that becomes the symbolic template for acting it out in some fashion within the context of your life to turn it into an actual experience. Usually without ever realizing, it’s your own creation. The one that you bought into and acted to willingly create by developing it as a living reality in your own mind, which then became the basis for projecting it onto others and your environment by living the story as if were true . . . making it real (for you anyway). You then tell others your story which gives them the information they need to cooperate in playing a role within your story to co-create it through the nature of how they interact with you, and treat you as a result.

Train your mind to only think the thoughts you want to manifest as a personal reality. Only speak the thoughts that you’ve developed into the reality you want by the story they tell, because they will literally act to call forth that reality in the mind of everyone you speak it too. Just the act of speaking elicits mental images as a form of internal computation of what you’re describing as your talking. Once they imagine it based on what you say and how you say it, transforming your words into mental images, they begin participating in co-creating your reality by supporting and validating it, making it appear even more real and true through their cooperation!

 
Words call forth realities by how they are pictured in the imagination. Be aware and creative in your thoughts, and discipline yourself to only think about what you want to make real, and by all means only speak to others the reality you want and are unconsciously choosing to call forth in their minds, making it real for them also. Learn to tell stories that enliven and empower yourself within your own life, and make you out to be the person you want to be. We are always the ones fully responsible for creating who we are by the stories we tell about things that make them mean something. Whatever they mean also means something about us, about others, and the way things are in general. All of which we created within the context of our own mind without fully realizing that that’s what we were doing, and are always in the process of doing! Once you realize that you’re making it all up . . . you might as well make up cool stuff! Don’t you think?
