How to become Aware of Yourself through your Reaction to Everything Else

One of the easiest ways to gain awareness around the hidden aspects of yourself that are actively creating in your life is by realizing that all outer stimuli only serves to awaken what’s alive within you as correlated qualities. As inherent aspects of us are activated and brought out by others, they form the basis for what type of reality and experience we create as a result. This is because our psychological makeup is comprised of unconscious, semi-conscious, and conscious aspects that interact in relationship with each other to produce our perception of reality. All aspects of ourselves that we’re fundamentally unaware of (don’t own or acknowledge) still play an active part in creating our perception of reality and others, and can be known by learning to observe our own “reactions” to them. As we’re stimulated by something outside of us it activates the same qualities and patterns inside of us, and they start playing out as the means of creating how we experience whatever it is we’re reacting to. When we keep our attention focused on whatever it is that’s stimulating us instead of what’s happening inside of us as we’re being stimulated, our own unconscious complexes remain elusive and hidden from us. This idea is commonly represented in Esoteric Sciences as a “veil” that hangs between two pillars (aspects of the mind) and keeps the underlying reality hidden from us.

Once we realize that anything we form a reaction to outside of us is showing us hidden aspects of ourselves that are normally vague and feeling oriented, we can learn how to use it as a mirror for seeing our own soul. We can see it as a tool for working with parts of our self that normally operate in an automatic and unregulated manner to create in our life. The outer sphere of our conscious awareness is structured, held together, maintained, and animated by our mind as a “whole”. We can become aware of our unconscious aspects because they form a natural part of our outer awareness and what it is that we notice and react to. This idea is represented in philosophical mathematics (algebra) by the fact that we can realize unknown parts of an equation by how the exist in “relationship” with known aspects of the same equation.

Every “quality” is an “energetic vibration” that’s polar in nature, and forms all of our natural characteristics. A characteristic has both an active (aware) and passive (unaware) component that “act on each other” to stimulate each other into an active and expressive state. The passive and latent (feminine) aspect of our character is a “magnetic receptor” for its active and projective (masculine) counterpart. All vibration as a quality of consciousness has a metaphorical pattern inherent in it that produces the “type of reality” that’s analogous to the qualities being expressed. As we bring certain aspects of our character into active expression, they have natural behaviors inherent that “run” automatically to produce a specific type of experience as a form of theme.

When qualities that make up our character remain hidden from us we can’t “see them” as they truly are, but when they’re activated by their complementary opposite in our outer environment and rise-up in an active state, we can become aware of them by “observing” them as they play out within us. By removing our attention from the outer source causing it and placing it inward and watching our own thoughts, emotional activity, and what automatically starts running through our mind, we can gain great insight into our own psychological makeup. As we learn how to observe our own internal activities while in a reactive state, we can begin gaining awareness around how it is we came to develop them and what memories they’re associated with. The subconscious mind runs in an automated fashion through the patterns provided as memory that are married to an equivalent emotion.

The Nature of Judgment

One of the most powerful mirrors we’re provided with through introspection comes by way of how we judge others. We all judge others in the same way we were judged “by” others, and come to judge ourselves using the same criteria. In order to form a mirror into our own soul, we have to create as objective, neutral, and detached perspective and mindset as possible. We have to remove all “personalization” from the process and observe our own thoughts and tendencies from a neutral and detached perspective. Judgment, like all activities born out of perception, comes in two basic ways: one as a process of true evaluation that’s based on facts being demonstrated and used to make good decisions formed out of “sound judgment”; and the second comes as a “value judgment” formed out of a kind of classification as an opinion that assigns qualities to someone that are not readily being demonstrated by them.

Value judgments make something good or bad based on a biased opinion rather than an observable fact. Value judgments that are designed to tear people down, make them inferior, and make them into bad people by the story we tell ourselves about them, are the ones that provide us with the greatest insights into our own hidden nature. This is because we judged those same qualities in ourselves to be just as bad, which is why we denied having them and refused to express them. As we deny having certain qualities and desires or tendencies, we repress them, and lose direct awareness of them, while they still remain a fundamental part of our character and continue to operate in a subliminal manner. As we render ourselves unconscious of our own undesirable traits and tendencies, we continue to project them onto others and react to them in a pronounced manner.

 As you find yourself reacting to someone by judging them in a harsh and detrimental way, detach yourself from your own dialogue and the story that starts running through your mind, step outside of yourself momentarily, and witness it instead with a neutral attitude. As your story about it starts automatically running through your mind, don’t restrain it in any way, and allow it to play out while silently watching it. As you let it unfold without censoring or modifying it, see what it’s about by letting a natural chain-of-association to occur. As it plays out internally and you watch it from a detached perspective, you’ll start associating the same characteristics to other people, ideas, and behaviors of the same nature from your past, and you can begin to see how it originated through an event or series of events of the same kind where those traits and behaviors we’re actively expressing through a complementary dynamic of some kind.

As you tear someone apart and belittle them through what you tell yourself about them, notice how it makes you feel, and ask yourself what it is that’s “motivating” you to do this. What’s “in you” that’s somehow being fulfilled through this type of mental activity? What need is involved? How do you use this dialogue and perception as the means of shaping yourself to be the opposite? What does this judgment and story “allow”? What is it attempting to explain or describe or justify? Allow yourself to go fully into the feeling that’s motivating it and allow a free-flow of memories that are associated with it. As you penetrate the unknown aspects of your own psyche, a natural process of unfolding occurs as a synchronized series of memories that will eventually take you back to its roots. Once you can objectively see the root cause, you bring it out of the shadows and into the light of self-awareness. Once you’re actively aware of how and why you formed these judgments, they no longer operate subliminally in an automatic, knee-jerk fashion, and you begin resolving them.

All character traits, behaviors, and activities are “appropriate” when used within the proper context. Usually when we disown traits it’s because they’re expressed in an inappropriate way or through activities that bring us face-to-face with moral issues that cause a dilemma. By realizing that we disowned traits because of how they were being expressed in certain situations, we can ask ourselves what an appropriate use would be and in what way we could utilize those traits to create in a productive and desirable way. Once we associate the character trait to its appropriate use and expression, we can integrate the characteristic and behavior congruently into our paradigm through the experiences it brings, and we no longer project it onto others while reacting to it. All healing, no matter what form it takes, always involves returning to a “whole state of being” where we’re fully self-aware and conscious of our own actions and create consistently in a responsible manner.

Emotional Reactions

This same process as a tool for self-awareness is available to us anytime we’re forming an emotional reaction to someone or something. An emotion being outwardly expressed by someone acts to stimulate and bring out that same emotion in us. By realizing this and removing our attention away from what’s causing it and turning all of our attention to what’s happening inside of us, we can gain new forms of self-awareness. All memory is formed out of events that have a strong emotional impact on us. The emotion associated with an idea or activity is what shapes our experience of it through the story we told ourselves about it that gave it the meaning it has. Emotion serves as a triggering mechanism for memory that was produced out of that same or similar emotional state. In a like fashion, as we think about and replay memories in our mind, we activate and bring forth the same emotional state that we were in when we created the memory.

As we’re triggered by something emotionally we instantly search our memory bank for all memories of the same kind, and the memory selected based on the emotion associated with it is used as the pattern for producing “automatic behaviors” in the current event or situation. We form our reaction out of an unconscious state as the reenactment of the same idea of the past and use it to create more of the same type of experiences in the present. Emotion is the motivating force of the subconscious which creates in an automatic fashion by using the preset patterns of memory. As someone is acting angry with us or in the immediate area around us, it activates a sympathetic response in us and we either become angry also, matching it, or we become afraid, based on how we reacted to those same feelings in the past. All responses are ultimately pre-programmed in us through the memories of our childhood and continue to provide thematic patterns for creating consistent experiences of reality as adults.

Anytime we’re being stimulated inwardly with an emotion being expressed around us or projected at us, we’re provided with a mirror for examining the unknown (disowned) aspects of ourselves formed out of and as a result of that same emotion. By removing our attention from the cause and placing it on the effect it’s producing “in us”, and we simply witness the activity taking place, we can gain new realizations about ourselves and our life. We can see into the memories associated with the emotion and begin resolving its magnetic grip over us. We can resolve the issue by following it all the way back to its roots. Once we find the root cause of a tendency formed out of an event, we can gain new awareness from within the event that changes how we experience it. Most of what we call “core” memories were created out of an unconscious state while we were children and served to provide us with the thematic templates for creating more events and experiences of the same type as adults. By simply reviewing these core memories from a different (adult) perspective where we remain fully aware of what’s happening and why, we evolve them by learning how to tell a new kind of story about them that makes them mean something different.

Habitual Thoughts

Using this same process of introspection and self-reflection we can learn how to observe our own habitual, redundant and repetitive thought processes that run constantly in an automatic and spontaneous way. While we can do this with any of our random thoughts, whenever we’re feeling stressed, anxious, upset, irritated, annoyed, and so on, we can gain deeper insights into our own mental complexes. We can learn how to see the “type of story” we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about what may be the most ordinary things. Through a regular practice of self-reflection and observing our own mind, we can begin realizing the theme to all of our commentary and inner dialogue.

Another form of habitual thinking comes by having conversations as a means of playing out ideas to predict possible outcomes as a form of “preconceived idea”. Whenever we’re anticipating something, especially if it’s important or meaningful, we “rehearse” conversations and play out possible scenarios in our imagination. We do this as a way of being able to not only predict the future based on the continuation of the past, but also as a way of practicing composure in order to lead or somehow control what happens and direct how it transpires. By learning how to let habitual thoughts play out in an unimpeded way while simply watching and contemplating them, we can gain great insight into our formative conditioning. By recognizing our own conditioned tendencies we begin realizing our own insecurities, fears, motives, and relationship patterns. We can begin recognizing how we form our identity by the stories and dramas we’re programmed with and run in an automatic and fluent manner.

Summary

Anytime we form an instant reaction of any kind to an outside stimulus, it’s providing us with a mirror into the hidden aspects of our own soul. The reason an active force being expressed around and therefore transmitted through the air enters into us and causes an equal or greater reaction, is because we possess the same quality and trait in its passive and latent state. The active is projected outward and transmits through the atmosphere and seeks out its passive aspect of the same pattern. Complementary aspects seek each other out through a magnetic attraction, and when they meet, they copulate, and work harmoniously to produce the same reality as a co-creation. The passive component of the same pattern is “magnetic” and “draws in” the active by serving as a receiver and transducer for it. Once they’re connected as one, a pattern is activated and they produce offspring as a shared reality and joint experience of the same type and kind.

By removing our attention from the other person and whatever is stimulating us in any situation and placing it on the internal activity produced by it as a feeling and emotion, we can “see” the behavioral pattern associated with it as it begins playing out within us, and we can see things about our self that normally elude us. As we bring what’s vague, elusive, and hidden within us out into the light of direct awareness, and gain whatever realizations it provides us with as a result, we can own and fully embrace them. As we begin seeing them with full awareness and clarity, they’re integrated into our mental paradigm as an energy that’s brought into balance as a harmonious state, and we “heal” ourselves of it as a result. We know when we’ve honestly looked at our own reactive and habitual tendencies because they no longer affect us. We still see them as a normal part of our outer environment without reacting to them or being controlled by them. When we no longer form a pronounced reaction to them, we’re no longer serving as a magnet and an unconscious receiver for them. As we integrate fragmented and disowned parts of our self, we become “whole” and begin creating in an aware and conscious manner, and we transform our life as a result.

Realizing your True Self and Transcending the False Ego of your Past

One of the most fundamental spiritual errors we make in life is in believing that we are the personality of our body and conditioning. As a human soul born into an animal body, we acquire the physical characteristics and ancestral memory that’s inherent in our genes. Our genetic makeup bestows us with the basic tendencies that are then developed by our family dynamics (those who share the same tendencies) as our formative conditioning that serves to birth our initial identity (ego). Through our formative conditioning we form a story about our self that becomes our life theme. As we grow into adults we take over the process of continuing to condition ourselves by living out of the same story. We usually do this without ever realizing that the only reason it holds true for us is because we continue to live our life as though it’s true. Many people (actually most), firmly believe that they “are” their personality as they were shaped by others and society, and have no real ability to change themselves. They live their entire life without ever realizing that they’re actually the “story-teller” and one that’s producing the reality of their story, rather than a mere consequence of the story itself.

As we come into this life and our soul acquires the qualities of our genetic makeup, we’re initially shaped by others and outside forces to strengthen and develop certain qualities while others remain latent and underutilized. We exist as children in a predominately unconscious state (of hypnosis) where we readily take in and internalize whatever consciousness is actively being expressed and demonstrated all around us. Whatever dynamics we’re apart of as a family structure, we become programmed with, and they serve to form the foundation for the story we begin telling ourselves as a means of making sense of things as we begin developing our conscious mind (between 8 and 21 years).

Our personality is formed from an unconscious state as a form of hypnotic programming that lays the foundation as a life theme for our identity to spontaneously emerge through our conscious development. As we begin thinking for ourselves and forming our own ideas about things (somewhere around puberty) we take over our own unconscious programming as our internal dialogue and the perceptual filters that we use for producing all of our experiences. We take over where our family left off, and our parent’s voice becomes our own internal voice and the means through which we interpret things to give them meaning through the story we begin telling ourselves about them. Our conditioning forms the basis for all of our initial internal dialogue as our means of thinking and processing information to form a consistent experience of our self, others, and the world around us. Out of this initial story-line as a life theme we consciously begin developing our identity by the roles we naturally take on and play through the relationship we form with the outer world and our life circumstances.   

All of our primary memories are formed from significant emotional events in our life that had a strong impact of some kind that altered us in some way. The emotional impact came at a time when we couldn’t rationalize it in an objective manner, and so we processed the experience internally by making it all about us. As a child we perceive ourselves as being one with our family unit and haven’t yet developed the mental capacity to see ourselves as sovereign individuals. Whatever we hear being said about us by others around us we accept as being true without questioning it, and form beliefs about our self as a result. Through a basic form of hypnotic suggestion we’re given (subliminally programmed with) the same values, attitudes, perspectives, beliefs, emotional states, and behavioral dynamics as our family unit. We always shape ourselves to be just like our family, or what we imagine to be the opposite (relate or contrast), but either way, we still form ourselves by way of our family.

As we grow older we fall into a very specific and pronounced role within that dynamic and we begin developing ourselves based on what we’ve been taught to believe about ourselves and the way things are. Whatever other people say about us when we’re a child acts as a creative directive (hypnotic suggestion) for our subconscious to produce as a reality. The beliefs we form about ourselves as a child become our “core beliefs” out of which we form all of our other beliefs as a correlation, and ultimately becomes a form of “self-fulfilling prophecy”. What we call our soul’s “destiny” is usually the result of our conditioning as our “false identity”.

By the time our conscious and self-aware mind develops fully (around 21 to 28 years old), where we develop the powers of reasoning, discernment, and the ability to logically analyze things, and we separate emotionally from our parents and begin seeing our self as an individual, we’re already programmed and take over the process of conditioning (creating) ourselves by continuing to live out of our past. We continue to see ourselves and process our experiences as we’ve been taught to through our conditioning, and the voice of those who judged and criticized us becomes our own internal voice that we continue playing over and over in our mind.

How we Shape Ourselves

We all have a tendency to only live out of a handful of memories that we use as the means of constructing our story about ourselves and our life. These are the memories that had the greatest impact on us, and that we use in a continuous fashion to shape ourselves accordingly. There are many other memories that we could use that would contradict our story, or tell a different type of story altogether, but we choose to ignore and exclude those, and often, over time, forget them completely. This natural ability to select the memories that we use to build our life story out of is a demonstration of our soul’s true ability to create itself, but of course we usually fail completely to realize “how” our mind is operating to “create”, and focus instead on the conditioned content as what we’ve been taught to think and feel. We don’t know how to recognize the laws by which our mind works to create an image of ourselves “as” a certain type of person, and believe instead in the illusion of our own making.

My own experience of this as a realization came from a basic form of inner guidance that called me on my own story about things. One of the feelings I always had as a kid was that nobody knew me as I really am, and judged me instead to be the same as my family, which I was nothing like in the most basic sense. As a young adult I moved to a town where nobody knew me or my family, and as I was getting ready to walk through the doors of a restaurant I was working at, it seemed like a kind of metaphor for walking into a new reality, and a voice inside said . . . okay Linda, you’re always saying that people don’t know you for who you really are, so who are you? The only thing that people are going to know about you here is what you choose to tell them. No one knows anything about your past or what you’ve been through. And I decided at that point that I wasn’t going to talk about my past or my family.

What I immediately noticed is how people looked at me and how they treated me based on being myself. I felt a kind of heaviness had been lifted from me, and a strange, newfound freedom. Like I was standing in front of a blank canvas and deciding what I was going to create. I had a blank piece of paper where I could write whatever story I wanted to. As a result of never talking about my past and deciding I was going to create myself in a conscious manner, I began forgetting about the past and over time thought about it less and less. As I no longer chose to dwell in memories of the past, I began feeling different about myself and my life. My personal growth during this time was phenomenal and I slowly began transforming myself into a completely new type of person. The person I consciously decided to be.

Many years later, when I finally opened up and talked briefly about my childhood and what I went through growing up, people that knew me were shocked. They had no idea and thought I had come from a well-to-do family, had an extensive education, and was nurtured as a child by loving parents. As time went on, many years later, when I would talk about the crazy stuff we did as kids (I had 3 older brothers), instead of talking about it as abuse and tragedy, I decided I was going to embody the outlook and attitude of two of my favorite fictional characters, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, and I re-told the stories of my past in a humorous and adventurous way. All of my stories about running away, hoping trains to who knows where, and living in forts on the streets became exciting adventures of exploration and freedom. I retold the exact same experiences from and entirely different perspective, and as a result changed the memories themselves in terms of how I “experienced” them and how I felt about myself as a result. I literally recreated myself using the same memories as life events while experiencing them in a whole new way. This was my first lesson in the art of self-transformation.

Now, as a fully mature person who has lived many lives in the course of this life and personality, I hardly ever talk about my past or myself in the general sense, and instead practice being present, talk about ideas and what my life is about currently. I’ve grown so much in terms of my ability to create myself intentionally that I don’t even relate to the little girl in my memories anymore. Many people see me as mysterious and a bit hard to get to know, without realizing that it’s because I no longer choose to live from my unconscious conditioning of the past, and instead identify with my true self as a universal being that’s the “storyteller” and the one creating the reality rather than the hypnotized personality still living out of the past and how I was shaped by others.

To wake-up in life isn’t to “heal from the past” by going through years of therapy where you “work through the issues of your past”, which usually only causes you to become even more identified with your past and the need to tell about “what happened to you” as a means of explaining why you’re the way you are. It comes instead through realizing who you really are as a soul and identifying instead with being the one who’s doing the creating by way of the story you keep telling yourself and others, often referred to as “your truth”. It’s detaching from your own past memories formed as a child when you had no real self-awareness and assuming the position of being the one who’s creating an image of yourself and producing the reality of your life “as” that story. You decide that you no longer need to keep telling that story as an expression of who you are, and you let go of it as a result. You no longer present yourself through the stories of your past and realize instead that you can create in the present whatever experience of yourself you want to by simply choosing to operate your own mind and imagination in an intentional manner.

What we think of as our “self” is formed out of memories. Our memories only remain alive if we continue to give them life in the present by constantly reliving them in our imagination. To change the self, you have to change the memories that serve to form it. All memories are actually something we create by how we interpret the events of our life out of whatever emotional state we were in at the time. By constantly reliving the memories over and over keeps us locked into the same emotional states. Whatever memory we play out and the emotion it keeps us infused with forms all of our natural perceptions, behaviors, and activities. You don’t change a memory by reinterpreting it to give it new meaning, but by “experiencing” the same event from a different perspective and attitude that causes you to “feel different” and elicits a different emotion in response to it. We evolve and transform ourselves by re-imagining our life experiences. All will to create lies in masterful use of your own imagination.

Understanding the Nature of Emotions and how we Create Reality out of Unconscious States

We can gain a clear understanding of the nature of emotions and how they work in our life to control us by simply observing what happens when we experience an emotion and have a reaction as a result. Emotions are the natural forces of the material world that are designed to produce automatic behaviors that don’t require thought or a decision. They are what operate the “instinctual field” that governs all living beings of the natural world that don’t possess the higher mental capacities of self-realization, thought, discrimination, and will that are necessary to self-create. Emotions themselves are invisible forces that are constantly being generated, transmitted, and received within the atmosphere of the material plane, also referred to as the astral plane. Emotions are always associated to memory of some kind and are an animating force that works through the etheric body of the astral plane to stimulate the subtle organs (chakras), which then stimulate the Endocrine glands of the physical body, producing a whole series of chemical messengers that change the energetic state of the whole body to match the emotion.

We can think of emotions as being the language of the subconscious mind which forms the unified field of the material world, and is what unites and serves to orchestrate the instinctual behaviors of both the animal and plant kingdoms, of which we as humans are a natural part. Emotions are always associated to memories, which are what produces the patterns for automatic behaviors in animals that all reside in and live out of a primarily unconscious state that lacks self-awareness and the ability to create in a unique fashion. The memory used by the animal kingdom is universal in nature, and used by all members of the same species to produce the shared behaviors of that species, whereas humans have the creative ability to produce their own memories as a personalized version of the universal memory that governs all of humanity.

The Relationship between Thought, Memory and Emotion

Only humans have to ability to “think” as a way of producing the imaginary reality of our thoughts as internal representations that form personalized memory of various forms that’s used as a “thematic template” for creating a corresponding outer reality as an illusion that simultaneously produces all of our natural behaviors. All of what we call “intelligence” exists as organized fields of information that form patterns of reality as memory. A memory is produced as an interpretation of an event that gives it meaning as the expression of the emotion being experienced during the event. The meaning we give something forms a kind of theme that can be applied to any number of situations as the perceptual lens and filtering system that provides us with an instantaneous means of interpreting events to all mean the same thing. The meaning something has as a feeling it gives us forms the basis for the story we tell ourselves about it that creates how we experience it. We don’t ever form memories as the recollection of factual details of the event itself (unless we set out with the specific aim of doing so), but rather by forming a story as a “type of experience” based on the emotion we were experiencing at the time.

Self-made memory as a unique account of an event is always formed out of an emotional state, and is only “accessible” and able to be recollected from that same emotional state. The memories we naturally reference and use to form our thoughts and perceptions are directly correlated and a by-product of the emotional state we were in at the time we formed them. We act as an energetic tuner and receiver for thoughts and memories that are correlated with and produce the realities of our emotional state. If we’re in a positive and uplifted state, we access and use memories formed out of that same state as our perceptual lens for creating more memories of that same kind. If we’re sad and depressed, we dwell in past experiences that were sad and depressing, and think about things that give us more of that same feeling. Our “emotional state” becomes our perceptual lens for perceiving the present to be of the same nature as the past. All states of mind are self-perpetuating and act to multiply and produce more of the same states through the experiences they serve to propagate.

The Collective Unconscious of Humanity

What we call the material world is produced and governed by a unified field of the subconscious mind as the collective unconscious of humanity as it pertains to our mammalian body and personal existence. The entire natural world of the plant and animal kingdom is unconscious in nature, and is operated by emotional impulses that produce natural (automatic) behaviors. The subconscious mind, which is the aspect of the mind that connects all of us, is emotionally driven and functions out of universal memory that’s tuned into the state of mind and consciousness of the individual, downloading it with certain types of information as collective memory. As humans we experience this as random thoughts that come to us seemingly out of nowhere, but that are so similar to our normal thoughts that we mistake them for being our own.

Different species and types of animals tune into the memory within the collective unconscious that provide it with self-knowledge and instructions for living as its natural instinct. They don’t have to be taught or accept the belief of someone else, or have the ability to create personal beliefs in place of actual knowledge, but instinctively know what to do in order to live and survive from birth. Animals don’t have a self-conscious mind and the ability to create in an individual manner apart from their species and kind, and all form the same behaviors that only differ in the sense of the personality they possess in how they perform them. All dogs, for example, act like a dog, though they have their own unique personality that makes them distinguishable from other dogs in “how” they do the same behaviors.

Instinct comes as universal memory that provides the intelligence and animating life force for creating, orchestrating, and maintaining an incredibly diverse Eco-system in an automated fashion that all live and function in harmony with each other. Emotional charges as impulses and passions are what serve to activate the memory necessary to produce automatic, natural behaviors, that don’t require and form of realization, calculated decision, thought-process, or will to carry out. All behaviors of the animal kingdom are produced and driven by natural impulses as emotional charges that are being transmitted from one being to another and throughout the atmosphere as a form of telepathy.

What Distinguishes Humans from Animals

What separates us from the animals is that we have the ability to create our own memories in our imagination by how we emotionally interpret the events of our life to give them meaning. We take a universal idea as a theme and use it to produce a unique version as a personal reality that forms our soul’s memory and makes us unique and different from everyone else. While our thoughts, which are associated to individually created memories, are somewhat unique and different from others based on how we interpreted the events of our life to create them, the emotions we share in common are universal in nature and experienced pretty much the same way by everyone. Emotions weren’t originally designed to be “brought into our thinking” as the means of creating illusions as personal realities that form our memory base, but merely as a form of instinct that aids us in our ability to live and survive within the instinctual world by giving us automatic behaviors as instant reactions.

The other unique ability we have as humans that sets us apart from the animal kingdom is we have the ability to generate and produce our own emotional state based on what we focus on and think about. Emotion typically comes in two ways, one as a transmission from one person or being to another where it’s absorbed and taken on, and as a response to our own thoughts. Whatever we focus on and think about automatically produces our emotional state as a correspondence. Thought and emotion are always connected, and one serves to form and determine the other. Likewise, whatever memories we dwell in produces in us the same emotional states we were in when forming the memories. We have the ability to “choose what we focus on” and direct our own thoughts to intentionally keep ourselves tuned to certain emotional states. Whereas animals are purely impulse driven based on the present events of their life and what behaviors are the most beneficial and appropriate.

Instinct as universal knowledge on the higher plane of consciousness comes to us in the material plane as intuition. When we intuitively sense something through a feeling about it, we perceive its inner nature and character as a form of “knowing” that comes without a cognitive thought process. We know the true nature of someone or something without knowing why or how we know. It comes in an instantaneous and automatic fashion as a realization that forms a mental impression in our imagination, similar to how we play out a memory as the means of creating an experience, except it’s not of a personal nature and not generated or formed by us. The entire material world of “formed beings” as a dynamic ecosystem is formed out of and animated by various forms of universal memory.

Energy as Emotion and Patterns for Automatic Processes

Memory, whether universal in nature as an archetype, instinctual as the basis for life, or personal as our own creative ability to produce personal versions of reality, comes as an organized field of information that’s stabilized into a fixed pattern. While we commonly hear that all “things” vibrate at a certain rate, meaning energy as a material object or being exists within a certain level and quality of consciousness, the fact is all material objects are formed out of memory as an electromagnetic field that’s contained in DNA, the subconscious mind, and the soul, all of which form union and combine with each other based on shared memory. This unification of shared memory is what acts to form a unified field as a pattern that produces a vibratory frequency. All material form is a mental construct formed out of memory that vibrates at a certain frequency.

The mind itself exists in a potential, unformed state, and is the medium that uses a universal archetype as a thematic idea for shaping matter into a pattern that then generates and emanates an electromagnetic field as a frequency. We know that a frequency contains a pattern and a self-organizing mechanism that serves to organize information into a formula or configuration as a living being, while often failing to realize that it’s the mind that produces the frequency by how it forms an “internal representation as the etheric double” that acts as a spatial map for organizing and structuring matter. As we form an internal reality as a thought-form, we magnetize it by drawing in the equivalent emotion, which acts to produce the activity as a vibratory frequency that transforms it into an actual outer reality of the same nature. All reality is formed by our “perception of it”, which comes by way of a filtering system that reorganizes the information available into a pattern that matches our memory, making it appear different to us.

       Through our ability to construct material forms in our imagination, we produce a form of virtual memory that gives the subconscious mind the pattern necessary for organizing the outer into a similar idea. The imaginary reality we form as an internal representation, whether out of an actual memory or universal one that’s not based on an actual experience, is a form of “request” for an equivalent outer experience. As we feel, think, and imagine the reality of our thoughts, we tune ourselves to the emotional state of that reality and it acts as a receiver and generator for more of the same type of realities. Whatever we think about in a consistent and emotionally intense way forms our perceptual lens that we look through and use to form our experiences by how we interpret the information that’s available in any situation to form our perception of it.

This process also works in reverse, and anytime we absorb and “take on” an emotion that’s being projected and transmitted through the atmosphere by another, it acts to adjust our emotional state to be equivalent to it. Once our emotional state is tuned to the same frequency, it determines how we act, what type of memories we use to form our interpretations, and what type of things we think about. We form a “coherent state” and act to co-create a joint reality out of the same state. As we express an emotion by coupling it with a memory as a correlating idea, it produces an instant experience that amplifies and gives us more of that same emotion. In this way, our state of mind and the reality it perceives and creates becomes self-perpetuating and forms a kind of closed system. As we take on the emotions being projected by others, and that exist naturally in the space around us, we “adjust” chemically to become of the same nature and state as our environment. This is the most basic form of evolution that serves to constantly form us to be of the same nature instinctually as the environment we live and survive in.

The Language of the Subconscious

Emotions are the energetic language of the material plane that acts as a mechanism for organizing information as memory into corresponding realities. Emotion and thought act together to produce internal realities that provide the perceptual filter and lens for producing an equivalent outer reality as our experience of it. Whatever outer reality we have to work out of, we act to reorganize the information available in it by only noticing and bringing out what matches it and can be used to produce our desired experience, while simultaneously ignoring and leaving out what doesn’t. We’re always taking what exists as an objective and neutral reality that’s a part from us, and restructuring it to produce a subjective reality that’s an inherent part of us as our creation.

We never really perceive things as they actually are, but rather as “we are” by how we reform them out of our memories and mental paradigm. We’re always remaking others in our own image according to our own beliefs, preferences, and judgments about them. Every single person that’s a part of the same event will form a different experience of it and tell a different story about it. This is because as humans we’re bestowed with the higher capacities of the mind and “create reality” out of our perception of it through a dynamic filtering system that operates by the principle of “natural selection”. When we’re governed by our emotions and exist in a constant reactive state, we live out of a primarily unconscious state as a subverted form of instinct. We engage in a constant form of automated processes that run redundant behavioral patterns over and over as a means of creating ourselves.

Summary

Once we understand the principle at work in emotions we can realize that anyone who lives out of a state of constant emotional reactions is always creating the present to be the same as the past. They’re constantly bringing the memories of the past into the present as the means of interpreting and perceiving the present events to mean the same thing and tell the same type of story about them. When we live out of the illusions created by our emotional reactions, we’re living and creating our life out of an unconscious state without any direct awareness of what we’re doing and why. We create illusions based on applying past memories to the present as a way of shaping them into the same type of story and experiencing them in the same way. Through awareness of how we act to create our own experiences, we can begin neutralizing the emotions of others being outwardly expressed and projected towards us, and can perceive things from a calm and relaxed state instead.

As we live out of constant emotional states we form our experiences of reality out of our beliefs and judgments about them rather than perceiving them in a neutral and unbiased way as they actually are. We take on our animalistic tendencies and create in an automatic and instinctual way by simply forming the same type of perceptions and behaviors over and over without realizing that we have to ability to change them and create in a more purposeful manner by choosing the meaning we give things and using our will to produce new types of experiences by learning how to tell a different type of story. As we begin recognizing our own emotionally driven tendencies we steadily empower ourselves to be able to think and create in new and more diverse ways.

Self-Awareness and how we Become Who we are – Realizing the Nature of Relationships and Exercising the Power of Choice to Self-Create

We’re all in the process of “becoming” in life through a constant interaction as an outer stimulus that causes an inner response of a like nature. From the time were born, we’re subject to a constant form of outer stimulation from others, our environment, and the conditions of our life circumstances that begin shaping us as a person. An outer stimulation awakens in us the same type of qualities that we’re being stimulated with, bringing them out in us where we form an interaction based on the shared qualities. As we embody the same type of qualities as the person we’re interacting with, we establish a relationship with them that expresses the shared qualities as a dynamic and we create an “experience” of ourselves by way of that dynamic. As we create an experience of something through our relationship with it, we simultaneously “sense ourselves” within that experience as a certain kind of person playing a certain type of role, and we become identified with our experiences as a result. Through this natural and fundamental process of cause and effect, we are initially developed through an unconscious state of our formative conditioning to be like the people we live in relationship with and the dynamics we play an active part in. We are all subject to the family dynamics we play a role in as the initial means of developing our personality and identity. By the time we’re in our mid to late 20’s, our personality and identity are firmly established and we begin the process of simply living out of and repeating the same patterns, behavioral dynamics, and type of relationships through a natural unconscious state the rest of our lives. This is what’s often referred to as the “first birth”, which sets the basis for transformation as being “reborn” through our “second birth” which is undertaken with full awareness of what’s happening and why. It’s by becoming aware of the natural process of self-development that we can begin working with it consciously to create ourselves in a deliberate and intentional way. We’re all born into this world with a Higher Conscious, subconscious and self-conscious mind and the capacity to become self-determined by exercising our ability to self-realize, discriminate, reason, and choose how we’re going to respond, and then willfully act out that decision while resisting habitual tendencies that come naturally to us as automatic responses. This powerful ability to self-create starts with awareness of the laws operating in an situation as the means of creating, becoming aware of what’s happening inside of you at any given moment based on how you’re being stimulated, and the type of person you become through your immediate and natural reactions as a result. All of life results from a dynamic series of relationships and how they all work together in a synchronistic and accumulative fashion to create a stable and consistent idea.

       The most fundamental laws that are always operating between the inner and outer world, between the masculine and feminine energies, and between us and others, are the Law of Cause and Effect and the Law of Vibration. The Law of Cause and Effect demonstrates that all actions produce and equal or greater reaction of the same nature. This is very easy to realize through self-observation by noticing that whatever emotion is being outwardly expressed by another acts to stimulate you with that same emotion. It serves to alter your “state” to match theirs and brings out in you the same emotional qualities where you become the “same as” or “just like” the person stimulating you. You then form an immediate reaction by either becoming congruent with them or by taking on the complementary aspect of the same idea and opposing them. Anger for example, when being actively projected towards you will cause you to either become just as angry and aggressive or more, or it’ll cause you to feel scared, and back down or feel overwhelmed. If you become just as angry, it escalates and intensifies, if you back down and become subordinate, it diffuses and neutralizes it. Whatever your reaction you become “that type of person” through the experience of yourself it creates. Whatever the nature of the energy being openly expressed by another within near proximity of you, acts to enter into and transform you to that same state. Likewise, if we’re the one who is actively expressing an emotion we serve to transform everyone around us who’s in a different state to that same emotion. The active component in one always acts to awaken and seed its passive, latent component in another bringing it into an active state. The Law of Vibration works in precisely the same way through sympathetic resonance, where one vibration as an emotional mental state, vibrates that same state in another through sympathetic induction where it’s literally projected outward by one person towards another person as a form of energetic transmission, where it literally enters into their body, vibrating that same state in them, amplifying and multiplying it, where they then form coherence and begin vibrating in harmony with each other as a “shared state”. Once the shared state is achieved they co-create a congruent experience together as a joint reality. The Law of Vibration always works through the complementary Law of Correspondences and Analogies where “like always begets more of what’s like itself” as a form of propagation.

       In this very sense of what operates as an energetic interaction, we are constantly being influenced by everyone around us to be like them. To take on the same emotional state, attitude, type of thoughts, and behaviors as they openly demonstrate and outwardly express through their very being. We also act on others in exactly the same way to influence them to be more like us. Vibration as a certain type and kind of energy always acts to generate more of what’s of the same nature as it is, just as we’re only capable of creating as an expression of our mental state as a form of offspring. All of life and our self is the result of how we enter into relationship with everyone and everything else. In every moment we’re being stimulated somehow, and either unconsciously reacting or consciously deciding who and how we’re going to become in relationship with it. This takes place unconsciously or without our direct awareness of what’s happening as a natural reaction, or consciously through self-awareness as a clear and calculated decision that’s not based on how we’re being stimulated, but rather on our ability to resist it, not let it enter into us and affect us, and from an independent response based on who we decide to be instead. The first step of transformation becomes the awareness of what’s actually happening, and the second step as the ability to prevent the emotional stimulus from entering into our being and body, and neutralizing it instead. We can keep other people’s emotions and projections from affecting us through the simple awareness of them and by resisting the tendency to react in a like manner. By controlling our own reaction, we counteract, neutralize, and deflect their energy. We bring it into a balanced state rather than an unbalanced state by serving to amplify and increase it.  Once we acquire the ability to prevent other people’s energy from entering into and affecting us, we exist in a form of inner calm where we realize that we actually have a choice as to how we’re going to respond or if we’re going to respond. In some cases we may choose to simply withdraw all of our life-giving energy that only acts to empower it and simply ignore it. Whatever we react to we give life in us and through us, and whatever we ignore and withdraw our attention from, dies to us. We don’t let it become a part of us and determine us as a result. In this spacious moment of inner calm produced by deflection and no reaction, we can ask ourselves . . . who do I want to be right now? What kind of person do I choose to be in relationship to this person or event? Am I going to allow this person to control me and determine who I am as a result? Do I like how this person is being and do I want to become like them? We can self-reflect in the moment and make a conscious decision as to how we’re going to respond in a thoughtful and intentional manner. And through our controlled and deliberate response based on a calculated decision, we can become self-determined and the master of our own fate.

       Whenever we maintain a calm and undisturbed state in the presence of active emotional expression, we act to neutralize it, and ultimately calm them down by influencing them to match our state. In every interaction as a transmission and reception of energy there’s always a dominant (active and projective) and subordinate (passive and receptive) aspect. Anytime we allow another person’s energy to enter into us and produce an effect, we are the passive receptor in the equation. One person is always the one producing an equal effect in the other, especially when both people are unconscious as to what’s really going on and acting “naturally” by reacting in a like manner to whatever they’re being stimulated with. Whenever we act to “give somebody back their own medicine” or what “they deserve”, we’re actually allowing them to control us and we have to become “just like them” in order to do it. This means that they act “on us” to transform us to be the same type of person as they are. Whoever is fully conscious and self-aware in the situation and not actively taking on the other persons energy, exercises the ability to dominate and manage the state of the other by bringing their emotions into a neutral state and then intentionally employing emotions as the means of expressing that influences them to match your emotions. The most fundamental form of self-mastery and conscious creation comes by neutralizing yourself to other people’s emotions and attitudes while simultaneously learning how to employ and direct them to create your experiences, or joint experiences, in a deliberate way by skillfully managing the state of others and eliciting a state of cooperation and participation. The only true power in the ultimate sense is being able to control and utilize your own will and the will of others to participate in creating the same type of reality. This same creative process as the operation of fundamental laws is also how we create ourselves in an intentional manner by associating with people who openly display the qualities and attitudes we want to acquire and develop in ourselves. By only being willing to enter into and maintain relationships with those we admire, respect, adore, honor, and revere, then allowing them to naturally influence us by bringing out those same qualities in us in a natural and unguarded way.  We work by way of natural laws by consciously choosing relationships with others who serve to stimulate positive emotions that bring out the best in us and the parts of ourselves we want to actively develop. Allow yourself to always notice what “part of yourself” shows up in your different relationships and “who you become” in that relationship as a result. Then simply ask yourself . . . “do I like who I become”? Is this how a want to be? Cultivate and nurture only those relationships that bring out the best in you, where you really like who you are because of them. Energetic Imprinting, Conditioning, and Dynamics – Liberating your Soul from the Unconscious Tendencies that Bind You

Our soul is comprised of essence as memory that comes from the relationship it forms with the body, which resides in a predominately unconscious state, and how they work together to create experiences of reality. The subconscious mind of the body also runs off of memory which it uses to form repetitive and habitual patterns that produce a consistent and congruent version of reality. What we call “reality” is produced as both an inner imagining and the outer complementary correspondence of what’s imagined internally. The subconscious is passive and receptive in nature, meaning it has no will or ability to discriminate and make decisions of its own based on reasoning, and simply takes in ideas from the active, willful mind as suggestions that it forms into thoughts as a sensory reality in the faculty of the imagination, which is where all reality as an outer projection is born and fabricated out of essence (astral light or photons).

The soul bonds to the body through the memory inherent in its DNA, which is of a similar and compatible nature, capable of providing the soul with the corresponding reality of its memories so it can continue fashioning itself by way of the experiences the reality provides. The memory, as the essence of the soul resonates with the ancestral memory of the body, and enters into it as an active force that animates and structures it, giving it life as the ideal home or material vehicle for the soul. All levels of consciousness exist on a hierarchical plane, where the lower is always subordinate (passive) to the higher one (active), and provides the form or shell for the higher force to inhabit, bringing it into an active state of expression and creation within the material realm. This hierarchy of consciousness exists as spherical fields nested within greater and smaller fields, all of which vibrate within the same frequency as a range of vibration and lend themselves to the creation of the same type of nature and level of reality.

This level of consciousness that acts to naturally produce and actively play a role in a common (shared) reality forms a whole or singular dimension that’s structured by a dynamic interweaving of an infinite number of vibrations, all with a common core of information that act as their building blocks. All reality in this sense exists within an even greater reality as a unified dimension, where unique formulas of common elements are shaped by the individual mind to form an original version as a variation or possibility. The archetypal world of pure consciousness exists as archetypes in their potential state as what we might call generic templates. Archetypes manifest by undergoing a process of adaptation and reformulation that modify and reshape them into a new form that’s still indigenous to the greater, shared reality in which they’re birthed, maintained, and used to express at the individual level of self-creation.

        As the soul resonates and bonds with the body, forming coherence as a harmonious vibration that creates in a spontaneous manner, it acts first to reform and establish the psychological patterns of its memory as a predisposition, temperament, general attitude, and tendencies that make up its personality, then those same patterns as dynamics are played out through its conditioning, because the memories of the parents are of the same nature and dynamics of the soul, as a form of “group memory” (soul groups). As these dynamics continue to play out and we have a role in them, we’re further trained and conditioned to those dynamics as behavioral patterns that have a theme as a story-line inherent in them.

In an attempt to make sense of the events of our life and the dynamics that we’re actively a part of creating, we begin telling ourselves a story about them. This story makes them mean something, and it’s the meaning as a story-line that we become imprinted with as a dominate and habitual tendency. This means we readily perceive it and participate in it in an unconscious manner without any direct awareness or realization of what we’re doing and why. We don’t realize that all of our experiences are subjective in nature, meaning we’re the ones that are creating them by how we interpret events of our life to give them meaning, and so we imagine that life is happening “to us” in an objective manner and we have no control or say so about it. Yet, though we can’t control the events of our life (necessarily), we absolutely have full control over how we choose to experience them.

What we call reality comes as a cohesive series of events that take place outside of and around us, and how we “experience” those events, while they may seem like two separate ideas, are in fact correlated correspondences of each other. The outer, objective, abstract, and neutral reality that’s common to all of us as a form of shared or mass consciousness provides the stage and the means for organizing it in such a way that we experience it in a consistent manner through the story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about it. This story as an interpretation makes it into a personalized version of reality as our own creation that we’re then subject to (it determines us).

        We reshape our outer reality based on personal feelings, tastes, and beliefs. We view it through the paradigm of our mind (soul memory) and we reformulate it through our emotional state to match it. We reshape it to be of the same nature as we are where it lends itself in a complementary manner to naturally tell our story about it. As we create our experiences of things, we simultaneously get a sense of ourselves through those experiences, identifying with our own creation, and shaping ourselves through the memory it provides that becomes a part of both the subconscious mind of the body and our soul’s essence. We’re constantly forming and in-forming ourselves through the experience of our own creation, by taking what exists as a “universal idea” and using it as a thematic template for creating a “personal version”.

Our formative conditioned patterns are established through the “theme” as a life dynamic that’s being played out all around us that we play a role in and are an inherent part of. While we play a certain role in a greater dynamic as a child, we are in fact “imprinted” (unconsciously programmed) with the “whole dynamic” and every role that’s required in order to act it out. Whatever role we’re not actively playing in the dynamic is being demonstrated for us by others, and we actively engage in it through our relationship with the greater whole and our constant interaction and participation in it. These dynamics are created in several areas of our life at the same time, based on the same general theme being played out in different ways through different types of relationships. How we’re treated as a child in a situation, is of the “same nature” (behavioral dynamic) as how our parents treated each other, our siblings, relatives, and all other relationships they maintained and participated in, where only the roles they actively played changed.

The relationship between our parents (or guardians) that’s being openly demonstrated and modeled for us in the normal sense, becomes the same “relationship dynamic” we play out in some form or another in our adult romantic relationships. As a general rule, we typically become one of our parents and marry the other one. Whichever parent we identify with most and align with in terms of playing the same role, we play most often, yet we unconsciously play all roles in the dynamic as a general theme. For example, if one parent is always criticizing the other one, putting them down and sarcastically belittling them somehow, and the one being criticized responds with a particular behavior (lashing out, retaliating, equally belittling, being hurt, crying, outraged, angry, or running away, etc.), that same parent will have a tendency to treat the children the same way as a general rule, and they’ll respond in a like manner to how the other parent responded (according to what’s being modeled for them to imitate). Whatever we witness going on around us is being modeled for us, and as children we tend to learn by imitating whatever’s being demonstrated for us as a relationship and means of “appropriately” responding. The same “pattern” as an overall theme is being played out in a variety of ways with every relationship within the family, based on the theme both parents share in common and the behavioral dynamic that naturally issues forth from it.

        If we’re used to being criticized as children, we’re attracted to (naturally respond) and seek out relationships of various kinds where that same dynamic is shared and can be played out faithfully in a natural and automatic fashion. We initiate and provoke the pattern, regardless of what role we play just through the nature of our interaction. For this reason, because it’s unconscious, we often have no idea we’re doing it, and so we imagine we’re innocent and once again it’s being done to us, instead of realizing that we’re the perpetrator. If we’re used to being criticized, we have a tendency to also criticize others (though we may view it different), and naturally produce the behavior that warrants criticism. We can do this intentionally through a reaction to being criticized ourselves, or as a way of retaliating and getting even by switching roles. Even when we respond by turning inward, crying and becoming meek, we’re lashing out in our thoughts and criticizing or despising them to the same degree or more that we feel criticized. Yet often, when we’re doing the criticizing, we don’t see it that way, but rather as just giving them back their own medicine or giving them “constructive feedback”. We feel justified to respond in a like manner, usually without gaining any recognition whatsoever of the overall pattern that’s being played out at the unconscious level.

When something exists in us at the unconscious level, which all of our automatic, habitual behaviors do, they serve to form the very basis of our perception, our emotional states, and what memories we use to interpret things to give them meaning through the story we tell ourselves about it that describes, explains, or justifies it, forming how we experience it. Because they’re a normal and cohesive part of our perception and way of experiencing reality, we believe they’re real in the objective sense and we have no ability to change them, because we don’t realize that we’re actively participating in creating them. We don’t know how to see something different because we’ve perceived things that way our whole life and it comes natural to us. The experience is spontaneous and comes in a natural and automatic fashion without any awareness of choice or will being involved.

So the first challenge is to be able to become aware of our own tendencies by recognizing the behavioral dynamics as a theme that we’re playing a natural part in that’s of the same dynamic that we grew up with. This can often come with us realizing we’re having a tendency to say the same thing and act in the same manner as our parents did. By developing our ability to self-reflect and focus on our own feelings and motivation, instead of always focusing on the other person, while recognizing what memories are being triggered through association that are of the same nature, we can begin realizing what exists in us as a tendency that we’re either unaware of, or only partially aware of. We have a natural tendency to always focus on the “other person” by thinking almost exclusively about how they’re being and what they’re doing “to us”, then our whole approach becomes how to “change them” so they’ll stop doing it. Yet even if they were to stop doing it, we would act out in an unconscious fashion to provoke it in them as a way of keeping the pattern going because we don’t know how to play a part in another type of relationship.

       This is because we’re not only conditioned with one role or position in a pattern or idea, but with the “whole pattern” and behavioral dynamic of which we can play every role, whether through an aware state or an unaware one, because every role in that dynamic was constantly being modeled for us, and we were either the one doing it or watching it be done. Whatever role we identified most strongly with we continue playing out with awareness, and whichever one we didn’t, we continue playing out unconsciously. Because we build our identity out of the experiences this dynamic provides, we not only keep it going in an automatic fashion, but when we get into situations where it’s not being cooperatively played out, we don’t know how to act or what to do, and so we unconsciously initiate it and provoke the proper reaction in others that sets it into motion. Once it’s set into motion and begins playing out, we’re in our element, and we have an automatic “script” where we know exactly how to be, what to say, and what to do.

When we live our life out of perceptions of our conditioning, we live from a primarily unconscious state that simply acts to repeat patterns as themes (karma) in every area of our life, over and over. This habitual state of mind forms the “life dynamic” that produces the experiences that become our soul’s memory as our essence, character, and constitution. Our soul is developed through accumulated memory attained through the body and how it identifies with it. The more of a certain type of memory we accumulate, the stronger and more stable the pattern becomes, trapping the soul at an unconscious level where it often fails to realize it has the ability to become consciously aware of unconscious tendencies, and through that awareness, dissolve the pattern, freeing itself to create in new ways by making new decisions that produce brand new experiences.

       The soul not only possesses the higher capacity of consciousness necessary for self-creating, but it also exists in polarity to higher planes of consciousness, where it acts as a medium between the upper and lower regions, and serves as the passive aspect of the active higher will, which is capable of impregnating it just as it’s capable of impregnating the imagination of the subconscious mind with an idea that it turns into a material reality. Habitual patterns only continue to play out when we’re unaware of them. By utilizing the witnessing capacity of the soul to realize the unconscious patterns being played out, they no longer take place in an automatic fashion, because our very perception changes through the awareness, and if we begin engaging in the same tendencies, we catch ourselves and realize what we’re doing and why. We can learn how to realize our own part in things by dissociating from our experiences (not “in them” having them from an internal perspective) and viewing them instead from a detached and objective state. When we view our life from a second or third person perspective, we view the events from a distance (as another person would) and see ourselves not as the main character in our movie, but simply as one character in a greater story, and we can see ourselves in a different light as simply playing a role in acting out a common story.

Once we become aware and fully conscious in our life, no longer reactive and bound to habitual mindsets, we’re free of them and have the ability to make conscious decisions instead. Through our ability to choose who and how we’re going to be, what qualities we’re going to take on and express through, we begin creating ourselves in a more novel and unique manner. In this way we break free of the karma as unconscious states that dominate and bind us to a mindless process of creation, and we become fully empowered in our own life. The minute we decide to stop doing one thing as a natural response and role, we have to decide how we’re going to be and what we’re going to do instead. All habits are dissolved and transformed through awareness, choice, and replacing them with new patterns that create in a more intentional manner through a fully awake state.

Religion and the Sacred Sciences – Dogma, Individuality, and Intuitive Creativity

Probably the biggest difference between the terms “religion” (as its come to be known) and “spirituality”, is one of a group experience as opposed to allegories and analogies that have to be intuitively interpreted in order to see the laws that are operating within the stories that attempt to illustrate them. Much religious doctrine is deciphered for the common person, who simply has to accept and adopt someone else’s  ideas as their own, and consider them an “accurate interpretation” that they choose to call right and accept as being true. When an interpretation is made for us and given to us in place of knowledge derived from actual experience, it requires us to “believe” in it and have faith. It doesn’t require us to “think for ourselves” or form our own interpretations, which would require an in-depth breath of knowledge of many branches of science, philosophy, and the arts, acquired only through a dedicated life of study and inquiry. It would require the devoted meditative practice of acquiring knowledge through direct experience, which integrates it, and the ability to bring it into practice in our daily life.

In the spiritual realm, creativity is of the essence, and all true knowledge exists as Laws, Principles, and Archetypes, all of which are universal in nature as “creative processes” or the natural forces and means through which things come into existence through conception of the individual mind, where they’re developed into a unique variation as a possible reality. All Archetypes and creative forces are universal in nature, providing a dynamic template as a form of ideal or prototype for creating at the individual level as a personification. All personal creations come as the result of a unique interpretation of what originates as a Universal theme that’s naturally ingrained in the human psyche.

We have been led to believe that we’re not capable or qualified to make accurate interpretations because we lack the knowledge necessary to do so, which of course is only partially true, because we’re not given the education that it requires through our conventional conditioning and have to seek it out on our own through a desire for it, and it’s only through our own interpretation that we conform to our mental paradigm, making it applicable to create at the practical level. Only what has been integrated into our mental paradigm through a fundamental and intuitive understanding of it can be utilized to create in the sense that it changes our very perception of reality and how we choose to conduct ourselves as a result.

There’s no absolute truth as an interpretation or way of perceiving something, but only in regards to the laws involved. Spiritual knowledge is written in symbolic metaphor, analogy, and allegory because it’s the universal language that’s ingrained in our very DNA as a form of subconscious code, and it’s always in an evolutionary and creative flow as adaptation and modification that produces a unique version of a common idea. When we interpret things for ourselves, we adapt and modify the basic idea according to our age and maturity, stage of growth, level of education, culture, beliefs, values, preferences, memory of past experiences, and based on how and in what way we’re going to relate and apply the knowledge in our everyday life to create by way of it. All ideas when translated by the individual to form a unique and personal version are “ideal for that individual”. There’s really no such thing as somebody else knowing and giving us our truth without any effort on our part. All truth, like all knowledge is only known through the experience of it. All theory simply provides the basis for practice as experimentation designed to create an experience of it.

The story of Moses, for example, and how he attained what became known as the 10 commandments (of Christian faith), originated as the 10 primary Universal Laws that were given to him by God as a direct experience. These Laws, were not rules meant to be handed down in a mindless way, only requiring acceptance and abeyance, but were a dynamic mathematical and philosophical system that laid out the creative process of the mind and soul for evolving itself through various stages of self-creation as the dissension of spirit into matter and the resolution of matter back into spirit as experience that formed an eternal memory. The first time he came down, he had 10 Laws written on sapphire tablets (symbolic code in itself), and when he saw the people partying, engraving idols as a means of worship, eating slain animals and fornicating, realizing the people were to ignorant and unintelligent to be able to comprehend them, he became enraged, and broke the tablets while ascending back up to the mountain top (symbolic of higher knowledge), where he converted them into rules and commandments that were written on ordinary stone. He delivered them instead as a form of dogma that “told the people what to do”, instead of requiring them the impossible task of thinking for themselves and being able to intuitively discern the laws in a way that would allow they to create in their life by using them. This story illustrates the mindset of what became organized religion that acted to interpret Laws and “give people” that interpretation as their own. In this way, the masses are trained as a unified whole or group mind, just like animals that are unconscious and instinctual in nature exist in a “herd mentality”.

The human soul sojourns through life as the means of self-creating and evolving itself through its own creations. We all have full, 100% responsibility for our own creation. Nobody else is responsible for us, and we can’t blame inaccurate perceptions and actions on other people. The term “sin” means to “miss the mark”, or think, perceive, and act out of an error. As humans, we have both a higher divine, and lower animal nature. Our lower nature is equivalent to the animal kingdom which lacks the creative ability to think, decide, and willfully act in an individual fashion. It lives out of a group mind as a herd mentality, and fails to think for itself, and instead passively accepts the will and thoughts of others as its own, and lives out of other people’s ideas which it perceives to be more correct than its own. Just accepting the thoughts and ideas of others in a passive manner, and using them as your own to create and align yourself with, also fails to provide the means for developing the higher faculty of intuition, which is necessary in order to form interpretations as clarity of thought.

Intuition comes as a form of allowing an idea in its symbolic universal form into the mind’s eye, while sensing and perceiving its spiritual, invisible nature as the laws and forces at work that merely act to organize the outer appearance as symbolic correspondences that change every time its applied or used to create. The outer appearance or material concept does not represent truth, it merely acts as the empty and passive shell for spirit as law to operate and express through. The inner qualities apparent and outwardly expressing in any idea or entity, simply act to show us it’s true nature in terms of the “mode of consciousness” it actively engages in and uses to express.

Conventional religion as we know it today doesn’t teach law as a higher form of knowledge that require individual interpretation, but forms instead a standard interpretation that the individual merely has to accept and believe in as being “the truth”. It’s based on God as a human figure that resides over mankind with the same emotional (lower) nature, only requiring our obedience and worship. It teaches that we don’t have a “direct connection” to God, and have to go through the clergy of the church instead, who advise, guide, and tell us what to do. Its designed and set-up to rule over mankind through a set of golden rules and dogma as the interpretation of those rules that appeal to and train people to be fully in and of their lower, animal-like unconscious nature of ignorance that’s incapable of making up their own mind or thinking for themselves. It promises salvation through blind acceptance of superior men having authority over us, and lays the foundation for the premise of slavery.

Spiritual Sciences, often called Secret or Scared Sciences, teaches spiritual knowledge as or of God as being consciousness Itself in all its natural forms, and the laws an archetypal principles that govern and act to produce the entire material and subtle realms. It teaches the Principles that can only be known by intuitively imagining them as an “inner experience” necessary to comprehend them in material form and provide the basis for practicing them. Knowledge as Laws and Principles are written in the universal language of symbolic imagery and dynamic systems that require individual interpretation in order to be understood and thereby applied as a practice of some form. It honors and works by way of every interpretation, just like every individual, being a unique (evolving) variable (personal creation) of the same universal (archetypal) idea. It doesn’t imply a general lack of intelligence in terms of corralling the mass population into the same school of thought by telling them what to think and training them to a concept, but rather requires an extensive level of knowledge and intelligence in order to intuitively form your own interpretation of it.

The higher spiritual realms exist in polarity as the complementary opposite of the lower, material realm, which is created and maintained by it as the laws that govern it, and where the subconscious, animal, instinctual group mind prevails and is dominant on the material plane, while individuality, uniqueness, and deliberate forms of self-creation through active use of will is dominant on the higher, spiritual planes. We only step into and embody our divine nature when we form a love and deep sense of connection with the spiritual realm over the material realm, and we use the higher capacities of our mind to think, evaluate, reason, decide, and act, and create ourselves as unique individuals, apart from and complementary to (of the same nature) other unique individuals.

When lower intelligence pursues spiritual knowledge, it does so through a system that has been laid out for it by another that it merely adopts as its own. It attracts to the spiritual ideal while still employing the animal, inability to think for itself, mindset and level of consciousness. They don’t seek true knowledge by studying laws and philosophy, but rather grab onto someone else’s idea as an interpretation and claim it as their own. They bring a sense of ignorance into the intellectual realms and argue that their interpretation, which is really someone else’s, is the correct one, and create an idea of themselves as being enlightened and superior somehow. They fail almost entirely to realize and appreciate the value of diversity in terms of perception and unique ways of looking at the same idea. They’re not willing to devote themselves to a diligent life time study and pursuit of higher knowledge required to actually think for themselves and form their own unique ideas about things, which is what’s required in order to attain it. They create a false image of themselves, much like a sorcerer imitating a Magician, as a spiritual authority and arrogantly prance around preaching by correcting other people while proclaiming to possess true knowledge, without seeming to realize that just this attitude alone demonstrates an incorrect perception as the foundation required to apprehend higher truth.

All symbolic imagery represents laws and principles as a dynamic composite of corresponding and interrelated qualities and characteristics of the same “nature”, type or kind. All allegory as stories of the same kind are representations of laws being applied in the practical sense as a life experience, which creates in a unique fashion as a theme formed into a variable as a dynamic series of relationships being acted out or created by a certain “character” or group of complementary characters. The only value, meaning, or significance of a story is to identify the “morale of the story” as the principles operating in it. All metaphor, likewise, is merely representing laws as archetypes or scenarios that represent and are active expression of laws and principles.

A variety of spiritual systems have be set-up that are symbolic and analogous in nature, all of which form a direct correspondences with each other, and provide us with the means for learning how to interpret symbolic imagery and archetypes. Some of the major ones, all of which correspond to each other and provide the “keys” for decoding the same primary set of laws, are the Qabalah (Tree of Life), Tarot (Book of Hermes), Astrology (Archetypes of the zodiac), Mythology (gods of human nature), subtle energy system of the body (microcosm), musical scale and theory, color and the vibratory spectrum of light, Angels and Demons (natural forces), all of which represent qualities of consciousness as states and natural ways of being as behaviors and operations inherent in them, architecture, sacred geometry, Hebrew alphabet, Numbers and mathematical equations, and so on. All of these systems are interrelated and correspond with each other and can be used in correlation to interpret the symbolic meaning of each other.

For example, the Tarot, based on 22 fundamental Universal Laws of descending and ascending, provides the “key” for decoding and interpreting the Qabalah. The Tarot lays out the same fundamental laws and principles as archetypes that represent states that perform certain “modes of consciousness” as an operation that’s a part of a greater creative process conveyed symbolically through a composite image of corresponding ideas, behaviors, colors, letters, numbers, sounds, elements, geometric shapes, planetary influences, and so on, that provide the means for factually, intuitively, and scientifically interpreting the symbolic imagery. Sacred Geometry is a philosophical mathematical system that represents the primary laws as form, function, and order that are the essential, life-forming laws inherent in all of nature. These all form a larger scientific system that’s of a universal nature and keeps the subtle and gross realms in a unified and holistic state.

In Spiritual Sciences each individual forms their own interpretation of ideas as the means of using a universal idea to form a personal idea of the same nature as a unique variation that still holds true to the basic idea as a theme of sorts. The interpretation produced by the individual, is ideal for that individual based on their current level of understanding, which is necessary in order to apply it in a beneficial manner. All knowledge is of Laws and Principles that can be perceived intuitively because they’re the invisible component that acts to organize the form, giving it its attributes, qualities, and characteristics, which determines how it behaves and what creative processes it naturally serves as a part of. Intuition is systematically developed through the knowledge and exercises involved in learning how to perceive and interpret invisible and unknown aspects through the relationship they form with the visible, known aspects. It develops the ability to readily perceive the spiritual aspect as the inner nature of things. It teaches you how to think, reason, evaluate, make clear decisions, and willfully act by applying the knowledge learned to your life, creating an experience of it, which is what allows you to attain it through the integration of it, modifying and updating your own mental paradigm to include it. It creates by way of obtaining knowledge of laws that become actual memory. The soul, as the spiritual, eternal aspect is comprised of memory, and only what is applied and practiced as experience becomes a part of our nature and is carried forward.

Our vibration as a quality and level of consciousness only changes based on the integration of knowledge as experience, which serves to form a dynamic system of memory. It’s only through daily devoted practice that we raise our vibratory frequency. Theory that’s not applied doesn’t alter us or our minds ability to perceive and comprehend higher forms of knowledge. It’s only by becoming one with divine knowledge as the nature of the spiritual realm that we increase our ability to resonate and be drawn up into higher dimensions. Whatever we equate ourselves with, we become like. Through experience, we associate ourselves with our experiences, relate to and identify with them, and “become” by way of our associations. We are always the sole creator of our own experiences. By acquiring spiritual knowledge in theory, and bringing it into practice by way of theory, we create our experiences, and absorb the knowledge as wisdom, becoming it in habit and memory, and we acquire the secret of ascension.

How we Stay Stuck in Patterns, and How to Transform them

One of the most valuable things we can learn psychologically is to really tune into the nature of patterns. All of life operates by way of a dynamic interconnected system of patterns. Patterns are not only formed out of memory as habits or routines, but also out of how we think and reason as creative processes that form our fundamental perception of things, and as the filtering system produced by our mental paradigm which is a dynamic model comprised of correlated, congruent patterns that are constantly being developed and evolved based on our experiences and what we integrate to produce our memories. As we go through life, we’re steadily forming our mental paradigm through our conditioning and what type of dynamics we’re a part of and play a role in, that shape the way we think and perceive, while simultaneously developing and “bringing out” our own style of perceiving through the type of story we begin telling ourselves as a way of making sense of things and making them mean something.

The most basic pattern we form that births and gives rise to all other patterns, is the “life theme” we develop as “our story” about things. This story emerges naturally through our conditioning out of a series of beliefs we form due to our experiences, what we start telling ourselves about them as an interpretation and thought process, and based on what we’re taught and accept as being true and real. All stories emerge naturally out of meaning, which, as children, comes from feelings. As our mind begins developing, and we begin actively creating how we experience things based on how we begin using our mind to reason, we begin constantly asking ourselves in any situation that has significant emotional impact . . . what does this mean?

Meaning, which forms the basis for reality, like the mind and soul producing it, is three-fold in nature, and creates on three levels simultaneously. The meaning we give something that forms the basis of our story as our way experiencing, means something about others, the way the world is in general, and about us in relation to it. All of our “experiences”, which are self-created, don’t come from the actual events of our life, but from how we interpret those events. Interpretation forms perception, and perception “is” reality. Our reality as our experience of the outer world is formed 100% from our perception, which is a by-product or natural expression of our paradigm as our “model of the world”. A model is comprised of an infinite series of memory that are all of a complementary nature and work together faithfully to produce a congruent and consistent version of reality. The structure of our mind as a paradigm is what we can call the core or fundamental pattern that orchestrates and acts as a choreographer for systematically producing all of our perceptions and experiences. It’s what we could think of as our “parental pattern” that produces a series of smaller fractal patterns of the same nature and theme as its offspring. We never have independent or singular patterns, beliefs, or areas of our life, but rather a holistic and unified “system” of patterns, memories, and beliefs. If we try to work with a specific pattern or area of our life that we don’t like and want to change, without ever identifying the “core belief”, conditioned tendency, or habit of perceiving and thinking that’s naturally producing it, we fail to be able to change it, and even when we seem to have changed it in terms of outward appearance, it collapses back into the same pattern and tendency we thought we had changed. This is because it can’t be sustained as independent from the system that’s producing it as a natural and automatic way of thinking and perceiving.

We can however use specific areas of our life and relationships as the means for identifying and becoming aware of our core beliefs and fears, where our feelings counteract our intellect and rational thinking, or where we’re aware that we’re not producing what we want to through various forms of sabotage and deep seated tendencies that are purely emotional in nature and act to magnetically pull us back into habitual patterns. Once we realize that we’re playing out the same fundamental pattern in a variety of ways in every area of our life, we can pick one to work on consciously as a way of influencing and affecting the primary, parental pattern. In doing this, and implementing the proper type of change, one that acts to modify and upgrade the entire system, we not only bring change into that one area of our life, but in the same manner in all areas of our life. It’s only by modifying our mental paradigm as our primary pattern and model, that we ‘break patterns” in selected areas, while replacing them with new patterns that are more beneficial and produce the outcome and type of experience we desire. We’re never “stopping one pattern” or quitting something, but rather changing an old pattern into a new one, or replacing something with something else. This means that it’s not enough to decide what you don’t like or want to change, but also what you “do want instead”, and what new behaviors or idea you’re going to employ in their place. When we decide to change our self and life in some way, we’re moving out of a form of unconscious and natural way of producing habitual experiences and into a role of actively creating with full awareness of what we’re doing and why. This means it requires a strong desire, steady focus, and constant effort (at first). All intentional change only comes through active use of our will and our ability to choose new options and ways of being.

In the most general sense of the word, being always produces doing. All action results from our inward sense of our self. To produce an outward change, we have to work by changing the inward state of being that’s acting through a fundamental form of self-expression to systematically produce it in a habitual fashion. We don’t change the world or other people by trying to work “on them” directly, but by changing ourselves inwardly, which automatically produces how we exist in relationship to the outer world, how we perceive others (in our own image), and how we act naturally to influence them in new ways that change how they respond to us. It’s only by changing ourselves that others and the world in general appears different to us. As long as we remain the same internally, everything remains the same externally. The entire world operates according to the Law of Cause and Effect. All action produces and equal reaction of the same nature and type. To change how someone else is acting, we have to change how we’re acting to stimulate them, and how we sense and perceive ourselves in relationship with them. As long as we’re employing the same attitude, way of looking at something and behaviors, we consistently produce the same thing over and over.

Learning how to Change Your Story

The first thing we have to do when deciding we have to change somehow, is learn how to actively “give up” our story about stuff and form instead a desire to tell a new kind of story that changes how we experience the events of our life and causes us to feel different and “become” a different type of person as a result. Most don’t want to give up their story about things, but instead want to be validated in it, and have everyone and everything else change through a form of agreeing and acting to counteract or go against instead what they’re actually the one creating. Someone who never feels “wanted”, for example, wants to keep telling that story and feeling that way, while having someone demonstrate or prove to them that they “want them”, yet their perceptual filters will always act to interpret any behavior to mean they’re not wanted. Usually of course without realizing that that’s what they’re doing, because we often don’t fully realize that we create our story perfectly through our feelings and perceptions, and only see and “experience” what matches them, and what can be skewed or recomposed in a way that lends itself to telling our story. The “feeling” that at once produces our story, creating an experience that gives us more of that same feeling, being the key component.

Our story is difficult to change because we’ve built our identity out of it as how we perceive and sense ourselves, and as a result don’t know how to tell a different type of story. When we try, we can often feel awkward, unfamiliar and uncertain, in new territory without a means to navigate, and don’t know how to “be” or what to do. All behavior is learned, and with learning comes the unknown. We have to practice something before we get good at it and it starts becoming natural. Change at first feels like we’re not being ourselves, or we’re someone phony or inauthentic (to use a buzz word), and this feeling and thought is what often sabotages our attempts at change and causes us to revert back to old and familiar ways of being that are more comfortable.

We don’t have to work through all of our “issues” and complexes through years of therapy and self-reflection on the events of our life, what happened to us, and why we’re the way we are, which usually only validates and strengthens them, but by learning instead how to use our creative power of choice and free will. We can produce any change we want by making the “clear and actual decision” to change, then disciplining ourselves to consistently produce and act out that decision until it becomes natural and automatic. Ways of feeling, thinking, perceiving, and acting are merely habits we’ve established as the means of producing the experience of ourselves and our life. Like all habits, they can be changed by simply replacing them with new habits. You have to want the change bad enough to do what it takes to produce and then maintain it, by deciding in a fully aware manner who and how you’re going to be and what type of story you’re going to tell by how you live your life.

Changing our story doesn’t mean we form an illusion over what we imagine to be fact, or deny the events of our life that formed our memories, but rather by learning the art of transforming them by interpreting them and telling our story about them from a new and different perspective that changes the experience of them. For example, when I was a kid, one of the stories I kept telling myself was that nobody really knew me for who I am, but rather by judging me to be like my family. I had a fairly traumatic childhood, and was a compulsive runaway, living much of my life on the streets, and was used to those who tried to help me looking at me and saying things like “you poor thing”, which was just about the most god-awful feeling I ever had because it made me out to be weak and pitiful, when my life circumstances actually served to make me very strong and capable. When I became an adult, and moved to a different city where nobody knew my past or family, a voice inside me one day casually said, “ok, now you’re in a situation where nobody knows to judge you based on your family and past . . . so who are you going to be?” And at that moment, the entire course of my life changed, and I was truly in a position of creating myself, which I found exciting.

I started off by vowing to never talk about my past or how I grew up with any new people, living fully in the present and giving them only an impression of what I was like at that time. I did this for years, and it became a natural way of living for me, and I quit thinking about my past altogether in the normal daily sense. I learned how to stay present and to realize in every moment I was deciding who I was going to be by how I acted and what I talked about. Later, when I was in another new environment, I decided to talk about my past as my childhood experiences while only picking the ones I could tell from a humorous and adventurous perspective. I made what was actually drastic and traumatic at the time, seem funny and exciting. I decided to tell stories of running away and hoping freight trains to unknown destinations from a perspective of “Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn”, as an exciting adventure met with constant surprises and quirky opportunities. I learned how to pick different memories to tell stories around rather than the ones I had previously focused on. I became so good at this, that my staff found them very entertaining, and on slow afternoons would ask me to tell them more stories about growing up.

The point to this is that the “way” I told the stories made me feel entirely different and turned me into a different type of person. Because I imagined them vividly from a different perspective, and played them out repeatedly from that perspective, it literally changed my memories by evolving and transforming them. From that point on, every time I thought about those events, I remembered them from a new perspective, and after a while I not only couldn’t remember how I experienced them originally as a little girl, but got to where I no longer felt like that little girl. She became more like somebody I knew really well and loved very much. She was no longer an essential part of me, and wasn’t the one who created the story I was still living out of as an adult. I began realizing that what tends to become our story as our “life theme” that we continue creating out of as adults, originates from a child’s perspective who is simply trying to make sense of things as best they can with the limited resources they have. As an adult I was much more equipped to tell a far more accurate story of my life based on an adult, mature perspective and mindset.

One of the first things you want to notice when forming a new story about yourself and your life, is that you have many memories of your past, but you consistently pick a small handful, usually the ones with the greatest emotional impact, to use consistently to “tell your story” about what happened to you and what your life was like. You could just as easily let go of those and pick a whole new set that you use to tell stories out of (to yourself and others) that would completely change the way you feel and who you become. You can also take the same major events of your life, realize how you interpreted them at the time you were going through them to create how you experienced them, and decide from a perspective of hindsight and what they served to teach you through the realizations you obtained because of them, and (re)perceive them from a new, more mature perspective, and retell your story about them in a way that makes you feel different, and become different by way of them as a result. As you form a new perspective, you imagine it as a reality that created a different type of experience, the type you want as the means of developing yourself in that way. As you create a new experience of it, and you get it just the way you like it, you play it over and over in your mind from within the experience of it. By playing it repeatedly, in vivid sensory terms of being in the experience of it, you establish it as a new memory and pattern that forms the basis for telling a new type of story. Instead of being scared or freaked out, you can be courageous, brave, confident, or surprised and filled with anticipation as a form of excitement. Instead of hurt and feeling betrayed, you can see it clearly, read all the signs of what was going on, and realize that as it happened it had nothing to do with you, and so you remain unaffected by it.

Because we’re the ones that are always creating our experiences of the events of our life, we form our memories also. Our memories become the established patterns as fully interpreted realities that provide us with instant patterns in the present to create more of the same type of experiences through similar events. As we create our experiences that become our memories, we simultaneously create ourselves by way of those experiences. All of our perception and resulting behaviors are produced in a natural and automatic way from memory. Our memories are shaped by the primary patterns of our life as our “theme” or “life’s story” that we’re always acting out and creating in some manner in every area of our life. To change a pattern as a memory, is to either transform an existing memory into a new experience, or create a new memory that you’ll use in place of the old memory that provides a pattern for the subconscious mind to act out naturally and use to produce more realities and experiences of the same nature.

To create a new (virtual) memory, start by selecting a scenario or behavior in your current life that you’d like to change. Form a very clear idea of what you’d like to change it to. How would you like to experience it or behave instead? As you go over the course of events, reflecting on how it went, what your interaction was, how you felt, and what you did, form a clear idea on how you would have liked it to have gone instead, and how you would respond or interact through hindsight. Reform it in your mind accordingly, until it plays out the way you want it to. If changing a behavior and not the overall pattern as a dynamic, leave everything the same (the emotion, meaning, trigger, etc.), and simply “choose” how you would have liked to have behaved, and play that out instead as a new response to the same stimulus. Once you have it the way you want as a general flow, replay it in your mind until it’s consistent. Once it’s consistent as a pattern that can be replayed in the imagination, begin enhancing it with sensory attributes and qualities. Make it vivid, in full color, and up close (immediate). Then shape it further by asking:

  • What are you seeing (picture in detail)
  • What are you hearing?
  • What are you touching or feeling? (objects or textures)
  • Smelling and tasting?
  • How are you feeling? (internally)
  • What are you telling yourself about it (internal dialogue)?
  • Feel it as an emotional experience – as if it’s actually happening.

Play it over several times as an actual experience that’s just the way you want it, until you can recall it automatically. What references a memory in the present is whatever feeling and emotion is connected to it. In order to use it to replace another memory, associate the same feeling and emotions to it. So that anytime you’re in a situation feeling that way, it triggers that memory and you see it as a pattern for creating the same type of experience and reality in the present one.

If you’re creating a brand new type of experience that you want to create, focus heavily on the feeling it gives you, and realize that brand new experiences may not come in the same way you imagine as a specific situation or set of circumstances, but it’ll produce the same type of feeling. You won’t be able to recognize it by what it looks like, but rather by how you feel when in it, having it. The appearance it takes on will be based on what’s available in your immediate, everyday environment that’s of the same nature and will naturally lend itself to co-creating the same type of experience. The reality it comes by way of will however be of the same theme, dynamic, and over-all pattern.

The other thing you have to keep in mind is that you can’t inflict your will on others. If you’re not of the same will, nature, and destiny, the reality you produce that includes them will never manifest. You can’t require specific people to be a part of your memory/reality, and it can’t be an attempt to change someone else, it can only require you to change by directing your own perception and behavior. If other people are involved, they have to be archetypes only, or a representation of a “type of person” who would act naturally to create that type of experience. So “who” actually participates in co-creating the experience, and the set of circumstances it takes place in, might be quite different than you imagined, yet it’ll be the same “type” of experience.

The Unified Reality of the Lower Plane and the Nature of the Subconscious Mind

There’s always a Divine Paradox playing out in the most basic sense as what appears to be a single reality that’s actually three-fold in nature as multiple planes that act together to create the perception of a single, unified reality. This is because what we refer to as the “higher plane” and it’s parallel “lower plane” exist in polarity to each other through what we could call a “reflection” of each other as a reverse image or as an “inner reality” that forms the basis for the perception of itself as an “outer reality” where the inherently “passive aspects” become the “active components” of its outer reflection. And while we like to think that the upper plane exists in a harmonious state of unity and singularity, while the lower plane is dual in nature and exists in a primarily “separated state” of individual components all operating independent of each other, one having nothing to do with the other, the fact is that what we call a “unified state” actually exists as having “dual” masculine and feminine components as the electromagnetic forces that serve to structure and animate the entire material plane in an harmonious and unified manner.

We take this basic misconception a step further and say that “we are all one” down here in the material plane, while imagining that when we return to a true unified state of shedding the material body and existing purely in our spiritual state, that we “blend back into the whole“, shedding our identity as an individual. Yet exactly the opposite is true. We are able to manifest (be born) into the material plane by taking on a physical body of the animal kingdom. This body is solely governed within the material plane by the subconscious mind which in the lower plane is the feminine and passive aspect of the mind, that is actually the active component that has full creative capacity but no “personal will” to think for itself in terms of original thoughts or to “create itself” in an individual manner apart from its species and kind. The subconscious mind is what we also refer to as the “instinctual mind” as the morphogenetic field (astral) of the material world that generates reality based on sensory, emotional impulses that serve to produce automatic behaviors.

The language of the subconscious is symbolic and metaphorical as ideas formed in the imagination as pictures and the reality of an idea. These “reality oriented thoughts” are memory and archetypes of some form that simply act to impregnate the subconscious with a possibility for producing as an experience that gives it an automatic program that it plays out as a means of creating without resistance. Emotion as a state of mind is always directly connected to memory as the reality and type of experience produced by that emotion that multiplies and increases it through the expression of it, which serves to give us more of the same emotion. Emotion is the electrical current that stimulates and sets into motion an entire unconscious process as a perception of reality that produces automatic behaviors. Emotions serve as a “colored lens” we look through that determine what aspect of reality as containing an infinite number of possibilities we act to “tune into”, bring into an active state by resonating with it, and cooperatively participate in providing the vehicle and the means for it to express in the outer world as a reality that affords us an experience of a particular nature as an automated process. Whenever we’re triggered by a strong emotion, it instantly renders us unconscious and we begin running an automatic program.

This is self-evident and very easy to realize by simply observing our own minds activity, and realizing that emotions are always associated to memories as the “state we were in” when we created the memory as a story-line of some sort, that also acts to keep that memory playing out in our life in a repetitive manner by simply maintaining the emotional state associated with it. We are conditioned (trained in an automatic fashion) to dynamics as emotional states that produce distinct types of realities that have correlating behaviors inherent in them. Emotions form “chemistry in our body” that act in much the same way any psychoactive drug acts, and not only alters our state of mind forming hallucinations of various sorts, but are also addictive. We become addicted to certain emotional states, and we not only live out of those states in a habitual fashion, but we act to create the experiences that will give us more of the same type of emotions. This acts to provide ourselves with a “fix”, because we’re capable of producing the drug internally through the proper external stimulus.

By allowing emotions being transmitted through projections of others and as active states in the atmosphere around us to enter into our body, take hold and rise up in our imagination as the reality of the emotion, that’s then used in place of the neutral, objective reality as an illusion that simultaneously produces automatic behaviors, we become instinctual animals that are governed by the same forces that operate within the natural world of the plant and animal kingdom. In this sense, we are absolutely directly connected to and a part of the “same mind” as being “one with” everybody and everything else. When we live primarily out of this aspect of our mind, we become like an animal and prone to the “herd mentality” of simply creating out of our formative conditioning as a trained mindset that lacks the ability to ‘think for itself” and therefore shape itself as an individual apart from the herd through active use of choice and free will. This conscious, willful aspect of the mind is the active mind of the higher plane that’s always self-creating in an intentional and deliberate way, cultivating it’s individuality by not being subject to emotional states and the illusions they create, and thereby not acting as a blind and passive receptor for the thoughts of others. Anytime we utilize the higher capacities of our mind to self-create in a unique fashion, we shape ourselves as individuals that are strikingly different from the crowd and are not influence and changed by the group mentality of the “collective unconscious”.

When we actively cultivate ourselves by first recognizing and fully embracing our divine nature and higher capacities of the mind to create within the material world in a deliberate way, then actively utilize those capacities in the everyday sense of staying fully conscious and present within the events of life making constant choices as to what to take on and allow to express through us, and what to keep out so it doesn’t contaminate us, we become the master of the lower plane. The conscious, willful and aware mind is the aspect of the mind that guides, directs, and seeds the passive, subconscious mind with the ideas it wants to create as an experience of reality through which it then actively creates itself by identifying with those creations. Whatever reality we act as a channel for expressing and creating as “our reality”, serve to shape us through how we associate with it through the experience it gives us. As we have experiences, whether passively or actively produced, we are sense ourselves within those experiences, and identify with them. We become the product of our experiences, all of which, naturally, are self-created either from a primarily unconscious state that feels as though our experiences simply happen to us without our control, and therefore not being created by us, or as intentionally produced by how we choose to use our own mind and imagination to create the type of experiences we want to use as the means to shape ourselves by way of them.

A great deal of confusion can result from the inability to distinguish the difference between neutral events within the outer world that seemingly take place without our will or control, that we refer to as ‘objective in nature”, and how we “experience those events” as an inner process that reforms them in our imagination giving them meaning while telling ourselves a story about them. All events of the material world, though produced by the subconscious mind as a group mentality, exist as neutral and unbiased to the conscious mind of the higher nature that doesn’t get its identity from the material plane, but rather uses the elements of the material world as the means for creating its own experiences. When we live out of our unconscious mind as our conditioning, we’re always using the memories of the past as the means for interpreting the events of the present to mean the same thing. Whatever emotion is being expressed in the event in terms of it stimulating us with that same emotion, determines what memories we access and call forth that were created out of events of the same emotional nature, and use as the means of producing the same “type of experiences” as an “interpretation” of the current events. In this way, the lower mind of instinct driven by emotion and memory govern and render the higher capacities of our mind passive and use our will to create in our life in an impulsive and unconscious manner.

While we tend to think that life itself is basically dual in nature, because only dual aspects are active on the lower plane, the fact is life as reality is three-fold in nature, and produced by three parallel dimensions that together form the same plane as multidimensional in nature. Likewise, the mind and soul are also three-fold in nature, and all act in unison to create the illusion of a unified material reality. Just as we classify that there are “4 Elements” that make up the material world, there are actually only 2 primary and actual Elements, the masculine (Fire) and Feminine (water), who blend together as a combination to produce the other 2 (air and earth) as their offspring. Likewise, while there is always an active and passive component of the same thing on each plane that together operate as complementary opposites to stimulate each other, the planes themselves also exist in polarity to each other where one is active and expansive and the other passive and receptive. While we have a subconscious mind as the dominate mind of the lower plane that acts to “birth” and give rise to the self-conscious mind of the “personal will” that identifies and operates fully within that plane, we also have an active component of the higher plane as our Higher Self (Mind) and Will, that exists in a polar state to our lower self.

When the conscious mind of the lower plane is active, it tends to override and prevent the conception and transmission of the Higher Will. The only way we can draw down and act as a receptor for Higher Consciousness is by quieting and returning the “conscious, thinking mind” to a passive and subdued state, so that the Higher Mind can act to impregnate the subconscious mind, which acts as a natural receptor for the masculine counterpart, with a seeded idea that it’ll turn into a reality. The subconscious mind reflects and casts the image of the conceived idea in the imagination, allowing the conscious mind to witness it as a mental impression and realize that it has come from a higher source because it’s original in nature, and therefore align itself with it and act in a cooperative manner to co-create it as an experience of reality. Reality in this case being a product of both aspects of the mind acting in a harmonious and unified fashion to produce a joint reality. The Higher Will seeds the lower mind of the subconscious with an idea that it then produces both as an internal reality that’s witnessed by the self-conscious mind of the personal will, and together they act to produce the external reality of the same nature as an experience of it, that’s then used by the soul as the means of shaping itself by way of that experience.

The paradox becomes obvious when we realize that the entire lower plane exists in a unified state within the higher plane, which is what serves to organize, orchestrate, and sustain it through its passive component, which is the active and dominate component of the lower plane. The entire lower plane is unified through the same passive mind and DNA, which is a component of the subconscious mind that’s also passive and receptive in nature and seeded as suggestion by the active and willful mind of the higher plane. The lower plane itself also has active and passive components, both of which interact with each other to produce a unified reality. The Higher Consciousness of the upper plane, which exists in a unified state of containing dual aspects in a harmonious state of equilibrium (represented by the element of air or atmosphere), separates as it descends into the lower planes of materialism, producing a masculine (fire) and feminine (water) aspect of the same thing necessary in order to perceive itself as another, and to bear witness to its own creation.

The Higher Self, which contains both the active and passive components, just as the material mind it produces does, divides Itself as the means of creating an inner and outer, self and other, essence and object, all of which are the same idea being played out on different levels and scales while partially submerged in an animal body governed by the subconscious mind that produces and maintains the entire material plane through a passive state that’s operated in an automatic fashion by instinct. Within the material plane of the subconscious mind, we are prone to becoming “like everyone else” and accepting the general mindset of mass consciousness through a form of “herd mentality” where the same impulses cause us to behave as if “one unit”. On the higher plane of what we think of as a unified state of true oneness, where the conscious and willful aspect is dominate, we imagine that we lack “individuality” and exist as a part of the same consciousness and have no will of our own. Yet the fact is, the only thing that transcends the lower realms and is drawn up and into the higher realms is the part of us that’s individual in nature and created by our own hand through active use of choice and free will. All aspects of ourselves developed to be “animal like”, stay within the lower planes of which they are a part.

When we live our life out of a predominately passive state of mind, driven by our emotions and programmed in an automatic fashion by the thoughts of others that we blindly accept as our own, acting impulsively through various forms of emotional, knee-jerk reactions where we’re completely controlled by the elemental forces of the lower regions, we develop ourselves through a lower, instinctual form of consciousness, and after death of the body, remain in the lower regions of the animal kingdom. When we employ our ability to consciously create by thinking for ourselves, making decisions based on our original and individual thoughts, and willfully act out those choices to form our reality, and we sculpt ourselves as self-made individuals that are unique in nature, where no two are alike outside of the fact that we all share an animal body with basic needs. At death of the body, the energies that it’s comprised of disintegrate and migrate back into their natural habitats. All energies return to the sphere from which it originates and resides as a natural state. The only part of us that transcends to the higher spheres is the parts that were self-created in an intentional manner and formed our individuality. Only our individuality exists in full and remains intact on the planes of higher consciousness.

When we create the larger part of ourselves to be “unique and original”, created while in a fully conscious state through personal will, we transcend to higher planes where will is the governing and active factor. The most fundamental paradox that we all live out of is the fact that we are all responsible for our own creation, and who we become is based on either lending our will to others, or utilizing the higher capacities of our mind to direct and create ourselves. We are always either being controlled by material means of some form, or the one doing the controlling. We’re always either consciously utilizing forces to self-create, or we’re being utilized by them. We’re either being determined by others and society, or we’re determining ourselves by separating from them and identifying fully with our divine nature and our ability to self-create by way of directing the natural forces that govern the lower, material realm of emotion, memory, and instinct. All that’s created to be of an animal nature stays within that realm and isn’t capable of transcending to the higher realms that require full use of higher capacities of the mind. All who are self-created to be of a divine nature transcend naturally to that domain at the death of their animal body.

Energetic Imprinting, Conditioning, and Dynamics – Liberating your Soul from the Unconscious Tendencies that Bind You

Our soul is comprised of essence as memory that comes from the relationship it forms with the body, which resides in a predominately unconscious state, and how they work together to create experiences of reality. The subconscious mind of the body also runs off of memory which it uses to form repetitive and habitual patterns that produce a consistent and congruent version of reality. What we call “reality” is produced as both an inner imagining and the outer complementary correspondence of what’s imagined internally. The subconscious is passive and receptive in nature, meaning it has no will or ability to discriminate and make decisions of its own based on reasoning, and simply takes in ideas from the active, willful mind as suggestions that it forms into thoughts as a sensory reality in the faculty of the imagination, which is where all reality as an outer projection is born and fabricated out of essence (astral light or photons).

The soul bonds to the body through the memory inherent in its DNA, which is of a similar and compatible nature, capable of providing the soul with the corresponding reality of its memories so it can continue fashioning itself by way of the experiences the reality provides. The memory, as the essence of the soul resonates with the ancestral memory of the body, and enters into it as an active force that animates and structures it, giving it life as the ideal home or material vehicle for the soul. All levels of consciousness exist on a hierarchical plane, where the lower is always subordinate (passive) to the higher one (active), and provides the form or shell for the higher force to inhabit, bringing it into an active state of expression and creation within the material realm. This hierarchy of consciousness exists as spherical fields nested within greater and smaller fields, all of which vibrate within the same frequency as a range of vibration and lend themselves to the creation of the same nature and level of reality.

This level of consciousness that acts to naturally produce and actively play a role in a common (shared) reality forms a whole or singular dimension that’s structured by a dynamic interweaving of an infinite number of vibrations, all with a common core of information that act as their building blocks. All reality in this sense exists within an even greater reality as a unified dimension, where unique formulas of common elements are shaped by the individual mind to form an original version as a variation. The archetypal world of pure consciousness exists as archetypes in their potential state as what we might call generic templates. Archetypes manifest by undergoing a process of adaptation and reformulation that modify and reshape them into a new form that’s still indigenous to the greater, shared reality in which they’re birthed, maintained, and used to express at the individual level of self-creation.

As the soul resonates and bonds with the body, forming coherence as a harmonious vibration that creates in a spontaneous manner, it acts first to reform and establish the psychological patterns of its memory as a predisposition, temperament, general attitude, and tendencies that make up its personality, then those same patterns as dynamics are played out through its conditioning, because the memories of the parents are of the same nature and dynamics of the soul, as a form of “group memory” (soul groups). As these dynamics continue to play out and we have a role in them, we’re further trained and conditioned to those dynamics as behavioral patterns that have a theme as a story-line inherent in them. In an attempt to make sense of the events of our life and the dynamics that we’re a part of, we begin telling ourselves a story about them. This story makes them mean something, and it’s the meaning as a story-line that we become imprinted with as a dominate and habitual tendency. This means we readily perceive it and participate in it in an unconscious manner without any direct awareness or realization of what we’re doing and why. We don’t realize that all of our experiences are subjective in nature, meaning we’re the ones that are creating them by how we interpret events of our life to give them meaning, and so we imagine that life is happening “to us” in an objective manner and we have no control or say so about it. Yet, though we can’t control the events of our life (necessarily) we absolutely have full control over how we choose to experience them.

What we call reality comes as a cohesive series of events that take place outside of and around us, and how we “experience” those events, while they may seem like two separate ideas, are in fact correlated correspondences of each other. The outer, objective, abstract, and neutral reality that’s common to all of us as a form of shared or mass consciousness provides the stage and the means for organizing it in such a way that we experience it in a consistent manner through the story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about it. This story as an interpretation makes it into a personalized version of reality as our own creation that we’re then subject to (it determines us). We reshape the outer reality based on personal feelings, tastes, and beliefs. We view it through the paradigm of our mind (soul memory) and we reformulate it through our emotional state to match it. We reshape it to be of the same nature as we are where it lends itself in a complementary manner to naturally tell our story about it. As we create our experiences of things, we simultaneously get a sense of ourselves through those experiences, identifying with our own creation, and shaping ourselves through the memory it provides that becomes a part of both the subconscious mind of the body and our soul’s essence. We’re constantly forming and in-forming ourselves through the experience of our own creation, by taking what exists as a “universal idea” and using it as a thematic template for creating a “personal version”.

Our formative conditioning patterns are established through the “theme” as a life dynamic that’s being played out all around us that we play a role in and are an inherent part of. While we play a certain role in a greater dynamic as a child, we are in fact “imprinted” (unconsciously programmed) with the “whole dynamic” and every role that’s required in order to act it out. Whatever role we’re not actively playing in the dynamic is being demonstrated for us by others, and we actively engage in it through our relationship with the greater whole and our constant interaction and participation in it. These dynamics are created in several areas of our life at the same time, based on the same general theme being played out in different ways through different types of relationships. How we’re treated as a child in the situation, is of the “same nature” (behavioral dynamic) as how our parents treat each other, our siblings, relatives, and all other relationships they maintain and participate in, where only the roles change.

The relationship between our parents (or guardians) that’s being openly demonstrated and modeled for us in the normal sense, becomes the same “relationship dynamic” we play out in some form or another in our adult romantic relationships. As a general rule, we typically become one of our parents and marry the other one. Whichever parent we identify with most and align with in terms of playing the same role, we play most often, yet we unconsciously play all roles in the dynamic as a general theme. For example, if one parent is always criticizing the other one, putting them down and sarcastically belittling them somehow, and the one being criticized responds with a particular behavior (lashing out, retaliating, equally belittling, being hurt, crying, outraged, angry, or running away, etc.), that same parent will have a tendency to treat the children the same way as a general rule, and they’ll respond in a like manner to how the other parent responded (according to what’s being modeled for them to imitate). Whatever we witness going on around us is being modeled for us, and as children we tend to learn by imitating what ever is being demonstrated for us as a relationship and means of “appropriately” responding. The same “pattern” as an overall theme is being played out in a variety of ways with every relationship within the family, based on the theme both parents share in common and the behavioral dynamic that naturally issues forth from it.

If we’re used to being criticized as children, we’re attracted to (naturally respond) and seek out relationships of various kinds where that same dynamic is shared and can be played out faithfully in a natural and automatic fashion. We initiate and provoke the pattern, regardless of what role we play just through the nature of our interaction. For this reason, because it’s unconscious, we often have no idea we’re doing it, and so we imagine we’re innocent and once again it’s being done to us, instead of realizing that we’re the perpetrator. If we’re used to being criticized, we have a tendency to also criticize others (though we may view it different), and naturally produce the behavior that warrants criticism. We can do this intentionally through a reaction to being criticized ourselves, or as a way of retaliating and getting even by switching roles. Even when we respond by turning inward, crying and becoming meek, we’re lashing out in our thoughts and criticizing or despising them to the same degree or more that we feel criticized. Yet often, when we’re doing the criticizing, we don’t see it that way, but rather as just giving them back their own medicine or giving them “constructive feedback”. We feel justified to respond in a like manner, usually without gaining any recognition whatsoever of the overall pattern that’s being played out at the unconscious level.

When something exists in us at the unconscious level, which all of our automatic, habitual behaviors do, they serve to form the very basis of our perception, our emotional states, and what memories we use to interpret things to give them meaning through the story we tell ourselves about it that describes, explains, or justifies it, forming how we experience it. Because they’re a normal and cohesive part of our perception and way of experiencing reality, we believe they’re real in the objective sense and we have no ability to change them, because we don’t realize that we’re actively participating in creating them. We don’t know how to see something different because we’ve perceived things that way our whole life and it comes natural to us. The experience is spontaneous and comes in a natural and automatic fashion without any awareness of choice or will involved.

So the first challenge is to be able to become aware of our own tendencies by recognizing the behavioral dynamics as a theme that we’re playing a natural part in that’s of the same dynamic that we grew up with. This can often come with us realizing we’re having a tendency to say the same thing and act in the same manner as our parents did. By developing our ability to self-reflect and focus on our own feelings and motivation, instead of always focusing on the other person, while recognizing what memories are being triggered through association that are of the same nature, we can begin realizing what exists in us as a tendency that we’re either unaware of, or only partially aware of. We have a natural tendency to always focus on the “other person” by thinking almost exclusively about how they’re being and what they’re doing “to us”, then our whole approach becomes how to “change them” so they’ll stop doing it. Yet even if they were to stop doing it, we would act out in an unconscious fashion to provoke it in them as a way of keeping the pattern going because we don’t know how to play a part in another type of relationship.

This is because we’re not only conditioned with one role or position in a pattern or idea, but with the “whole pattern” and behavioral dynamic of which we can play every role, whether through an aware state or an unaware one, because every role in that dynamic was constantly being modeled for us, and we were either the one doing it or watching it be done. Whatever role we identified most strongly with we continue playing out with awareness, and whichever one we didn’t, we continue playing out unconsciously. Because we build our identity out of the experiences this dynamic provides, we not only keep it going in an automatic fashion, but when we get into situations where it’s not being cooperatively played out, we don’t know how to act or what to do, and so we unconsciously initiate it and provoke the proper reaction in others that sets it into motion. Once it’s set into motion and begins playing out, we’re in our element, and we have an automatic “script” where we know exactly how to be, what to say, and what to do.

When we live our life out of perceptions of our conditioning, we live from a primarily unconscious state that simply acts to repeat patterns as themes (karma) in every area of our life, over and over. This habitual state of mind forms the “life dynamic” that produces the experiences that become our soul’s memory as our essence, character, and constitution. Our soul is developed through accumulated memory attained through the body and how it identifies with it. The more of a certain type of memory we accumulate, the stronger and more stable the pattern becomes, trapping the soul in an unconscious level where it often fails to realize it has the ability to become consciously aware of unconscious tendencies, and through that awareness, dissolve the pattern, freeing itself to create in new ways by making new decisions that produce brand new experiences.

The soul not only possesses the higher capacity of consciousness necessary for self-creating, but it also exists in polarity to higher planes of consciousness, where it acts as a medium between the upper and lower regions, and serves as the passive aspect of the active higher will, which is capable of impregnating it just as it’s capable of impregnating the imagination of the subconscious mind with an idea that it turns into a material reality. Habitual patterns only continue to play out when we’re unaware of them. By utilizing the witnessing capacity of the soul to realize the unconscious patterns being played out, they no longer take place in an automatic fashion, because our very perception changes through the awareness, and if we begin engaging in the same tendencies, we catch ourselves and realize what we’re doing and why. We can learn how to realize our own part in things by dissociating from our experiences (not “in them” having them from an internal perspective) and viewing them instead from a detached and objective state. When we view our life from a second or third person perspective, we view the events from a distance (as another person would) and see ourselves not as the main character in our movie, but simply as one character in a greater story, and we can see ourselves in a different light as simply playing a role in acting out a common story.

Once we become aware and fully conscious in our life, no longer reactive and bound to habitual mindsets, we’re free of them and have the ability to make conscious decisions instead. Through our ability to choose who and how we’re going to be, what qualities we’re going to take on and express through, we begin creating ourselves in a more novel and unique manner. In this way we break free of the karma as unconscious states that dominate and bind us to a mindless process of creation, and we become fully empowered in our own life. The minute we decide to stop doing one thing as a natural response and role, we have to decide how we’re going to be and what we’re going to do instead. All habits are dissolved and transformed through awareness, choice, and replacing them with new patterns that create in a more intentional manner through a fully awake state.

Spiritual DNA – Our Souls Signature for Creating Reality

Physical DNA, which operates not only according to the same laws that govern all of life on the physical plane, but also to the laws of the spiritual or energetic realm of the mind. Not the mind as a product of brain function, as many people believe, but the mind as the subtle electromagnetic field of the body, also referred to as the soul. Just as physical DNA as a combination of information is used to generate the body, giving it very distinct genetic characteristics and behavioral tendencies, which are further developed through family dynamics of people who share the same DNA, the soul is comprised of energetic information as memory. The fully integrated memory of the soul maintains its basic structure as a paradigm formulated out of accumulated memory.  Experiences as  memory accumulated from multiple lifetimes gives the soul its basic disposition, temperament, and tendencies, which are continuously evolved through the experiences it acts to co-create and attain by how it enters into relationship with the body as corresponding (of the same frequency or nature) memory, which evolves it through the new attributes and emphasis it produces.

This soul memory, unlike genetic or hereditary memory of the race and culture (bloodline), doesn’t give us specific physical characteristics, though it does maintain energetic tension within the body which alters the physical appearance and potential for illness and disease manifested through energetic tension as a form of “programming”, but it’s the memory that forms our personal signature and the stories we tell by how we live our life and form our personality and identity. In terms of “soul expression”, biography forms our biology. The souls vibration or internal nature can be recognized through the story we naturally start telling from a very young age. Our personality is fully developed as the combination (all of life comes from combinations) of hereditary and individual (soul) memory. A new variation is formed out of the series of relationships that take place and as we begin forming our identity with our body and life conditions through adulthood, we steadily evolve our soul through continuous adaptations that alters and modifies our mental paradigm.

This soul memory as a mental paradigm that regenerates itself within a new body is what we commonly refer to as karma. Not in the sense of good or bad, or as independent behaviors as many think, but rather as patterns that produce much larger overall effects in terms of the perceptual filter it forms that determine how we interpret the events of our life to give them meaning. The meaning we give things forms a “theme” out of which our “life story” begins naturally formulating through our formative conditioning, which we begin cultivating early in life by how we naturally react to what happens to us, and what qualities the events of our life and the behavior of others activate within us that become the basis for our experiences in the present. These overall life patterns that we’re imprinted with at the soul level, recreate the same themes as a story that we begin telling ourselves about things that forms our reality, how we create our experiences, and how we behave (create outwardly) as a result.

Our spiritual DNA as soul memory produces the same perceptions and tendencies, the same “type” of thoughts and emotions, which naturally lend themselves to begin telling the same type of story about things as a means of making sense out of it. How we interpret things to give them meaning is how we begin developing ourselves through our own soul expression. As we begin expressing the same tendencies, we develop our personal reality out of the same mind-set or paradigm. This mental paradigm is what we carry forward into each succeeding life as an accumulative effect based on how it was evolved through each life experience. We start each life with the summation of all previous lives that form the basis of our mental paradigm, which sets up and initiates the same overall patterns as a “life theme” that determines what body (DNA) we resonate with and the natural circumstances our conditioning provides us with, that we then experience as “happening to us”, while at the same time possessing the mental filters and producing the behaviors that cause it. A life theme is usually something like not being loved, not wanted, not good enough, betrayal, abandonment, rejection, and so on. We then act out these themes at various levels throughout our life through numerous relationships. We attract to and pick the people who are of the same nature as we are and who will participate in acting out the same reality, giving us more of the experience we’re programmed with, and whose behavior can be readily interpreted to “mean” it. Then, through our interaction we simultaneously produce the behaviors that will cause it.

Example: if abandonment is our theme, then issues around abandonment are constantly being stimulated in us, both consciously and unconsciously. As they’re stimulate and brought forth in us we form behaviors around them, both as actual dynamics and behaviors designed to compensate or protect us from it, as well as the ones that initiate it. We readily engage only with those who have the same theme as a dynamic, and will act to not only abandon us, but respond appropriately to being abandoned by us. Then anything, any form of behavior or gesture that can be interpreted to mean we’re being abandoned, is how we experience it, while simultaneously abandoning them in the same way we imagine we’ve been abandoned as a retaliation or defensive mechanism (cause and effect). We play all roles in our theme simultaneously as the attitude and behaviors that result in us being abandoned, and respond in kind by abandoning them. Like always begets more of what’s like it. We don’t recognize our own tendencies when we do it to others because we tell ourselves a different story about what we’re doing and why that makes it seem different, or we do it unconsciously as a behavioral tendency that we do without direct awareness, that others perceive as us abandoning or not wanting them, and they respond in turn by abandoning us.

We continue living out of this same theme as a set of dynamic behaviors, some of which we’re aware of and others we’re not aware of, through all of the relationships in our life (parents and family, dating or marriage, work, friends, etc.) usually without ever realizing that we’re the ones producing it by the memory as a “thematic pattern” that we’re programmed with. We then, after creating many experiences of being abandoned and abandoning others (before they abandon us), begin identifying with our own self-perpetuated experiences, and our entire behavior as a style or way of being, is always acting out “abandonment” at all different levels of our life. We form our identity through the stories we tell about ourselves and others, and become thoroughly conditioned by that story, and therefore honestly don’t know how to tell a different story. When we try, we feel awkward, clueless, don’t know who we are or “how” to be, feel like we’re not being ourselves, phony, inauthentic, and so on, because everything about us and who we’ve created ourselves to be is based on telling that story. In this way, we can live our whole life out of the same karma as inherent memory, or several lifetimes for that matter, usually without ever realizing that that’s what we’re doing.

So our soul’s memory as our vibratory frequency forms the dynamic model of our mind as our mental programming. Our memories become the basis for our mental filters, which produce the perceptual patterns of our mind as an interpretation that determine “who” and “how” we become. Our mental paradigm forms our soul’s signature by how we express ourselves through feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Our soul’s signature is the story we’re always in the process of telling by living it, and the people and situations we attract and enter into relationship with that are programmed with the same dynamics and will participate in co-creating the same type of story with us. Those who are programmed with a different type of story than we are, we can’t relate to, don’t feel compelled towards, or have an affinity with, and in many cases never really even come into contact with.

This continues as a self-perpetuating motion until we become aware of the fact that no one tells us what to think and how to feel, but us. Even as children we are always the ones creating our experiences by how we interpret things to give them meaning, and the stories we begin telling ourselves in an attempt to make sense of things, which acts to shape us by way of our own creation. Once we become aware of our own tendencies and how we’ve formed our identity around and out of them, and are truly willing to let go of our attachment to our story, we can begin learning how to tell a new story, and transform our lives as a result. Like all things, we can only consciously work with what we’re aware of. Through self-awareness, we begin realizing our own unconscious tendencies and can decide what we want to do instead and willfully act out that decision in a disciplined manner. It’s only through self-awareness and using our power to self-create that we can resolve our karma by breaking the unconscious patterns that govern our life, and intentionally form new ones that are more productive and creative, instead of detrimental and destructive. We have to begin taking control of our own mind and using our will to form our experiences with a sense of intention and purpose, and begin telling a new type of story that will systematically transform us into a new type of person.
