Human Will as Speech directs the Forces of the Subconscious Mind

What we symbolically refer to as the “serpent power” in esoteric sciences is the Astral Light of the Formative planes that’s governed by the subconscious. It’s the universal principle as a subhuman force that builds everything from the inside out and is controlled and directed through mental means. Serpent power is the source of all “illusions” created from emotional reactions as instinctual behaviors that are unconscious and automatic in nature. When this primal force is tamed, overcome, and directed by mental means, it becomes a primary instrument of transformation, and ultimately provides us with the secret to immortality.

 The symbol of the snake eating its own tail reveals how it feeds on itself as its own emotional reactions by absorbing the experiences they create, and digesting and assimilating them into its being. The universal consciousness is eternal, unchanging, and remains forever the same, while entering into various forms of expression that all feed on one another as emotional interactions. The icon of the serpent represents emotion, which is the motivating force of the subconscious that activates complementary thoughts to produce the reality of the emotions as an unconscious creation.

 Habitual realities as a life-theme are created when we live out of the same fixed perceptions and emotional states and the memories we create from them. All creation comes as patterns produced by the vibratory frequency that acts on itself to assemble itself as both an inner and outer reality of the same nature and kind. We bring the formative power of the serpent energy under control by employing the disintegrative forces of Mercury as the conscious direction of mental states. While it operates systematically from an unconscious state, we can use it to consciously create ourselves by selecting and assimilating the right “mental food”.

The serpent energy of arousal and passion is represented by Leo, which governs the spine and nervous currents of the body that can be directed upward through the energy centers of the body (chakras), activating, and transforming their energetic frequency into coherent patterns. Leo is exalted in Neptune, sign of water, which represents the principle of emotion and memory (self-assimilating patterns as a frequency) that work together to form life. It’s the inner essence and life giving energy that animates form as its soul and spirit. Spirit as life-force activates the memory (constitution) of the soul to produce reality as an experience of itself. The soul not only produces and inhabits its material body, but also the entire outer reality that emanates from the body as a projection of memory (perceptual lens) that it uses to create specific types of experiences of itself.

Our subconscious works through the creative imagination to generate mental imagery that serves as a symbolic idea that it lays over the outer reality and uses to develop detailed realities of the same essence and nature. It takes whatever thoughts (ideas) we feed it, matches it with a complementary emotion, and produces an experience of the meaning of our emotional-thoughts as an outer reality. Our soul uses the experience as a means of simultaneously creating itself by identifying with its own self-produced realities. It forms an interpretation of the experience that gives it meaning, then forms a memory of itself out of the meaning as a kind of metaphorical (universal) idea that can be used to create more experiences of the same nature by how it’s adapted to different situations.

As we direct our mental focus and concentrate on an idea, we build up forms by organizing them to create an inner reality as a representation that serves as a memory. The self-conscious aspect of the mind (active awareness) selects an idea that it them impresses in the imagination as a metaphor and mental state that’s developed into a detailed reality by thinking about it in a concentrative manner. Whatever we choose to focus on, and digest and integrate depends on our conscious selection of ideas that we then “become one with” in mind and body. Our self-conscious is what we can think of as the “gatekeeper” that actively chooses what to let in and serve to “seed” the subconscious with what it “wants” to create, then acts to witness the offspring of its own mental creation as a projection.

The mind, which is dual in nature on every level of existence, works by way of the holographic principle, where an image is illuminated with the same light source that remains unadulterated as what witnesses and absorbs its own creation as a material form. One light source as a concentrated beam is split in two, and one is impressed and programmed with an image that’s then projected and realized as a three-dimensional form by the other aspect of the same light source. As we speak, we simultaneously form the internal image of the meaning of our words in our imagination, which acts to instruct our subconscious to produce as a corresponding outer reality as the means for experiencing our own creation.

What’s referred to as the Akasha Field of memory (the Astral Field of Light), or The Book of Life, acts as a permanent record of all our soul’s creation. We use our will to direct our subconscious through language and how we construct sentences to form an idea. As we think about an idea we define it with detail as both energetic and material attributes. As we speak or think, we call forth the reality of our words in our mind’s eye, where they’re projected and turned into a reality as a kind of movie or living scenario. When we combine our intellect with the forces of Nature in order to create, we impress those forces with human consciousness, and they become available as memory for others to receive and assimilate.

We intelligently utilize the natural forces of the material world by taming the lion (energies of the body). We tame it by feeding it words as metaphors that it then uses to articulate and create realities out of. Words organize Astral Light into forms in the imagination, and are the intelligent medium that connects all of humanity through the same emotions and mental imagery. The electrical forces of the world are tamed and modified by humans through speech and mental imagery. Speech is the universal reverberation that acts systematically to produce the reality of its meaning. If you change the pattern as a mental image, you change the reality that results. By infusing an image with a positive (magnetic) feeling that elicits adoration, courage, and gallantry, we engage the lion (beast) and it becomes our servant, instead of us being its servant.

The Great Secret of Manifestation

What’s referred to as the great secret of esoteric sciences is that the subconscious is always in control of every subhuman manifestation of cosmic energy. Every force in Nature that governs all kingdoms can be directed and utilized by intelligently using the subconscious. We create in the material world by directing these forces into ideas. All new elements and creation have their origin in the mind of man. Ideas become “things” in the external world as a result of ideas conceived of and developed in the creative imagination that acts as a seed that’s gestated into a physical form by the subconscious.

Creation always comes as the harmonious union and balanced action of the self-conscious (masculine) and subconscious (feminine) to produce the reality (first internal then external) as its offspring. Patterns are selected and set by self-conscious interpretation of experiences as meaning that’s expressed as a story we tell by living it as an experience of our self. The subconscious creates the reality of our thoughts and emotions, which “is” our will to create. When we speak internally as thoughts that are unconscious in nature, our will becomes the means through which we employ destructive patterns and we become as animals that are ignorant of the very laws by which we create. By understanding this law as the secret to moral strength and accurate use of our will, we become our own master and begin creating in a more conscious, precise, and responsible manner.

Seeing Challenges as Opportunities for Personal Growth

       As a kid growing up, I was born into a very challenging life. My mom was a single mother with five kids, one of which was mentally retarded, and we were on welfare. We lived in a small two bedroom house in the worst neighborhood in town, and experienced many forms of abuse while being neglected and left unsupervised for days at a time. My older brothers ended up going to detention homes, my younger sister passed away at 9, and I ended up running away in order to avoid what would happen to me if I stayed home. I became quite accustomed to living on the streets and fending for myself by the time I was 12.

       Throughout my teenage years I was taken away from my mother due to abuse and put into the court system where I went in and out of foster care that was almost worse than living at home, so I ended up running away from those also. Though all of this I continued to go to school while living in a fort I built in the park. In spite of all of this I did very well in school where I was put into accelerated learning classes and graduated high school at 16 with a scholarship to college. I filed for emancipation at 16, got a job and started college, where I graduated at 18. I experienced unimaginable hardship while trying to survive and protect myself, and was hospitalized on two occasions for malnutrition. As I continued through life I seemed to be thrust from one challenging situation to another, enduring many hardships, traumas, tragedies, and crisis, which are still continuing to this day.

        When I was young I remember feeling as if I was always being punished for something, but I couldn’t figure out what I had done to deserve to be punished because I was a really good kid (seriously). I was the only “white sheep” in my family, always helped out, and never got in trouble (except for fighting and running away). As I got older I began to look at things from a much deeper perspective of wanting to penetrate the secrets of life, which I found to be very mysterious.

       One thing that I recognized about myself at a fairly young age was that I was a very “strong” individual with a will that could push through what seemed like unbearable situations with a positive attitude, and I always seemed to have a clear perspective on what was happening forming realizations that led me to consistently make clear decisions about who I was and what I was going to do. I was never easily led, could care less about fitting in, and never had anyone to look to for guidance and help. Many of my decisions were quite difficult to make as I felt torn with a sense of love and loyalty to the very people I sought to get away from, and was terrified to leave and face being all alone and vulnerable to the unknowns of life. My first few years living on the street as a child were terrifying and very stressful, but after a while I got a system down that seemed to work pretty well.

       As a young adult, having gone through a problematic pregnancy my son was born with serious medical problems that required me to persist in trying to get him diagnosed to a point where they thought I was suffering from some kind of “postnatal depression and hysteria”. He was finally diagnosed in just enough time to save him, and I underwent a year of repeated hospitalization and several major surgeries, while also being told at one point that he was dying, where I decided to take him home, and administered the care that caused him to fully recover and begin thriving again.

       During this time my entire life fell apart and I think I may have had what seemed like several nervous breakdowns in trying to deal with it all at once. One of these breakdowns (completely distraught) came as the result of having to go against the system and everything I was being told in order to save my son’s life, that resulted in having a direct encounter with what I came to recognize as my Higher Self as what intuitively “showed me what to do”. Yet in spite of it all I walked away from the situation a year later with a healthy and happy little boy. I lost everything I owned through the process and had to file bankruptcy the next year due to the astronomical medical bills. During this time I accessed a part of myself I didn’t even know existed, and it transformed my way of thinking and being in a way that began taking on a life of its own. I felt like I became a different person because of this experience. I was no longer afraid or unsure of myself and could see things with a great sense of clarity and confidence in myself.

           I then went through the lingering process of trying to revitalize a dead marriage, pursued what became a demanding career in order to take care of my son, became very independent, came face to face with drug addiction and trying to somehow manage what deteriorated into an abusive situation. Though I found this period of my life extremely challenging at times, I also started feeling very strong, mature, and capable and eventually felt unaffected by the situation I found myself in. I was no longer afraid and vulnerable, and instead felt grounded, calm and calculating, and able to manage even the most difficult situations with relative ease and psychological skill.

       Another breaking point came several years later when my husband tried to strangle me in the midst of a jealous rage, and I was finally able to make him leave by being willing to face the consequences of what I thought he might do to me. A few months after our separation he was stabbed through the heart while in a bathroom stall of a restaurant, and died four days later. I left the hospital and went directly to the police department where I was interrogated for several hours and given an idea of what charges were being filed and given the details on the nature of what happened. This was followed by a murder trial in our small town of 2,400 people (so it was the biggest thing that happened there in years) that lasted for 14 months, and I won’t even try to convey the insane experience this brought and what I came to realize about how our justice system works.

       As I was sitting quietly one day and reflecting back on things and wondering why “bad things” were always happening to me, no longer feeling punished but more confused and mystified . . . a voice inside of me said “think of it as training. How can you teach and help others through things if you don’t know how to make it through them yourself? See this as your education so you can fulfill your life’s purpose as a teacher.” This was profound because at this point in my life I had no idea I was going to end up teaching. That experience set a transformation into motion and I began taking a whole different attitude towards the seemingly tragic events of my life, and looked back on them with a new awareness around the reason for things.

       I realized that even as a child who was conditioned to a very dysfunctional way of living and dependent on a bizarre set of circumstances, that I was always aware of what “I couldn’t bring myself to do.” I wasn’t making clear decisions at first, but rather ones that came from feelings inside of me that realized I couldn’t be “that kind of person” or let “those kinds of things happen to me.” In every crisis I face as a major event of some kind I noticed that it brought out the worst in everyone involved, including me, and I got to see myself in a different light. I saw myself as reflecting the traits of those around me, and I didn’t like who I became. I then realized that in my worst moments as a child I was making the most important decisions of my life in terms of who I was going to be, and those decisions served to shape me as an adult and set my destiny in motion.

       As I saw the traits in the people around me and how they made me feel by what they were doing and how they were treating each other and me, I thought there’s no way in hell I’m ever going to be like that or act to make someone feel the way I’m feeling right now. I felt disgusted and extremely disappointed. I lived every moment never knowing when someone was going to be “set off” by something and take it out on me, or what kind of mood they were going to be in from one moment to the next. I was actively choosing, even as a child, who and how I was going to be because it wasn’t “in me” to do that. It wasn’t in my nature to be that way. I couldn’t even imagine myself participating in the insane activities going on all around me, and started going off and being by myself as a result.

       One of the things I began telling myself at a young age was that I felt like no one knew who I was because they were always judging me to be like my family, and I was nothing like them. In schools teachers would recognize my last name and knew who my brothers were, and would make off remarks and treated me as though I was going to be a problem to deal with. Every time I encountered a cop for some reason, they would ask me how my mom, dad, and brothers were doing. I was perceived as being a juvenile delinquent and possible trouble-maker or bad influence (many of my friends parents wouldn’t allow them to hang out with me), even though I was living on my own in the park while continuing to go to school and never got into any serious trouble with the law. The only illegal activity I was engaged in was what I needed to do in order to survive and protect myself, which I did.

       When I finally moved out of my home town and to a brand new community where no one knew me, I was going to work one day and a voice said to me . . . “okay Linda, you’re always going on about how people don’t know you for who you really are, well no one knows you here, so who are you going to be?” And I realized in that moment that no one would know anything about my past unless I told them. So I made it a point from that moment forward to never talk about my family, where I came from, or what I had been through, and took an attitude instead of “creating myself” as I really am.

       This not only put me in touch with myself in a new way and “who I am” as a conscious choice, but taught me to quit talking about my past and telling stories about “what happened to me”. As a result, I not only got to the point where I hardly ever thought about it anymore, and eventually started forgetting about a lot of things, but I also learned how to stay present in my life and consciously create myself in every moment to be the person I truly was inside. When people I had known for years finally started finding out about my upbringing and where I came from they were shocked. Most thought that I had come from a fairly well-to-do family, had a formal education, and didn’t have a problem in the world because I “seemed” so “well-balanced and confident.” Of course this was also the community where my son was born and my husband was killed, so it set a whole new type of reality into motion that brought with it a whole new set of challenges and obstacles to be overcome and resolved to a favorable end.

       Every time I hit a point of mental and emotional collapse, where I felt like giving up because I didn’t think I had the strength or know-how to make it through my situation and I felt completely alone in life, I realized that I didn’t know how to give up. What would it mean to give up? How would I live with myself knowing I gave up? What do you actually do when you give up? And after a period of severe stress and not knowing what to do, literally falling apart, crying to the point of heaving, I would get pissed (at myself and God, even though I was an atheist at that time), and state firmly and repeatedly that I refused to give up – and in those moments of complete mental breakdown, feeling diminished and lost yet determined to persevere  – I connected with a higher power that seemed to consume me by “coming into me” and kind of taking over as my own consciousness.

       Its consciousness became one with mine and I felt more alive than ever before with a feeling of intense elation and self-awareness. An amazing feeling of calm came over me and I became very focused with a feeling of absolute power in what I was sensing. I seemed to know intuitively exactly what I needed to do, how I needed to do it, the reason for doing it, and what would result from it. All of my grief and despair vanished and I immediately proceeded to carry on with a renewed sense of moral strength that felt unstoppable. This was a profound awakening for me because I had always felt abandoned by a higher power and as if I was being made to suffer because I was a “good person.” I had felt betrayed and condemned by religion and always saw it as a form of mass delusion, even as a child.

       I then started experiencing what I came to realize were premonitions about the events that led up to my husband getting killed, where I literally tried to intervene and stop it from happening because I thought that was why it was being revealed to me. As I tried to change the course of events based on what I was seeing, they simply happened in a different way. Then, after he was stabbed and died on the spot, and was resuscitated several times while undergoing open-heart surgery, only to die as soon as he was taken out of ICU from a blood clot, it changed my perspective on everything. This set a whole new realm of investigation into motion that completely changed the course of my life by leading me down a path of deep inquiry into the true nature of destiny and the meaning of life. I became consumed with wanting to know what happens when we die? What do we experience? What’s it like? Where do we go? And I began reading everything I could find on the subject while talking to other psychics about their experiences with seeing people’s death and what happened when they tried to intervene by warning them.

       It was at this moment that I finally realized that if I didn’t believe in God, then who was I always talking to, and who was talking to me? I realized I was always engaged in a form of intimate conversation with another being that was inside of me. What was the voice inside of me that was always guiding, instructing, and comforting me? How was it that I could foresee events of the future while unconsciously engaging in behaviors as a part of what led up to them (I bought a black dress for an event a week before he died that I ended up wearing to his funeral). Was our life predetermined and we were just going through the motions as the experience of it, or were we truly creating our life moment by moment through the decisions we make?

      What I realized through all of it was that in every moment, through every life challenge and crisis, I was able to see different aspects of myself brought out by the shear panic and despair I was feeling, where I was making a decision, conscious or not, as to who I was going to be in relationship to that moment, and taking what often amounted to drastic actions that were terrifying in and of themselves as the means of fulfilling my decisions. These weren’t decisions made in an analytical way through reasoning as a debate, but rather ones that resulted from feelings, intuition, and a heightened awareness around the true nature of things.

       I became very clear on what was “in me to do and what wasn’t.” My choices came out of an awareness of who I am as a soul. Not from what I was “taught” was right or wrong or acceptable based on the circumstances. I couldn’t “imagine myself” being that way, and if I was, I would hate myself while knowing I had the ability to change it, but chose not to out of fear and self-doubt. All of my unconscious decisions resulted not from my conditioning and the values and behaviors being demonstrated all around me that I was an inherent part of, but from my inner sense of morality and what I knew deep inside to be right and wrong. It was my morality and intuition as a soul that was my compass and beacon shining through in even the darkest moments when all hope seemed lost and I was beside myself with fear. All the answers I sought weren’t outside of me, but within me, simply waiting to be acknowledged. I realized that questions and answers are opposite ends of the same thing, and the questions we ask in our most private moments with a deep sincerity to know bring the answers to us as life experiences.

       As I continue through life, I’m still experiencing one challenge after another, I’m currently in the process of going blind (have been for several years), but now I look at things from a completely different perspective where I see them as the ideal situation for showing me parts of myself that I still need to transform. I see them as opportunities administered by my Higher Self that serve to facilitate my moral and spiritual grow by teaching me the lessons they hold as a result. I’m completely clear on the fact that karma is administered in an unbiased and compassionate fashion by my Higher Self lovingly affording me the opportunity to redeem myself from past errors instead of blindly repeating them in new ways, and develop all of my weaknesses and bad traits into moral strength and mental skill. Realizing that problems are actually loving gestures designed to grow me in new ways, I feel a deep sense of appreciation for all of what I imagine to be tribulations.

       I’ve learned that every situation, no matter how challenging or difficult it seems, brings out in me all kinds of qualities and traits in response to it, many of which appeal to the mentality and emotional states of my conditioning where I can detach from them in order to see them in a different light and not let them consume me by making them personal. Through the challenges of my life I can see what weaknesses I still need to transform into strengths. I have developed a strong ability to look at myself as I truly am, and take an attitude of always rising to every challenge I’m faced with in order to develop myself in a fully conscious and deliberate way. I realize with complete certainty that this material life is not the prize to be won or story to be lived, but simply sets the stage necessary for me to decide in every moment who I’m going to be in relationship with it and as a co-creator with it.

       I realize that my true purpose in life is to grow my soul in ways that allow me to help other people grow. I consider myself a teacher and know that I can only teach others what I know from experience. I know that in blazing a path from the lowest level of despair to the highest level of optimism and confidence casts this into the astral light of mass consciousness where it can be accessed and utilized by all who are searching for their own answers. It has provided me with the knowledge and practical skills to be able to embrace and walk head on into any situation, no matter how bad, with a sense of compassion, reverence, and confidence in my ability to not only to endure it and know what to do in new situations, but use it to actively develop the parts of me it naturally acts to calls forth in response to it.

       I know that this life and these circumstances are simply a phase and step in my soul’s overall growth and are only meaningful in terms of setting the stage that’s ideal for my eternal process of self-creation. It’s not about what happens to us in life or why, but rather who we decide to become by way of what happens to us. In every moment we’re making decisions based on one question, and that is “who am I?” Who am I going to be in this moment? What am I going to create? We’re always the one determining our own creation and setting the course for our destiny. The only purpose to this life is to master our ability to not be controlled by the conditions and circumstances of life, but to engage at the point of actively directing the natural forces of the world through the power of self-realization, choice and will. How we live this life sets the karmic basis for the next as a continuation of our journey from an unconscious state to a fully conscious one.

Developing a Moral Code of Conduct as the Practical Application of Universal Law in Order to Regulate Yourself

  One of the most profound practices that have been largely abandoned in our modern era is the practice of developing a moral code of conduct as standards that we hold ourselves to as the means for governing ourselves through all kinds of situations. While many have been taught to adopt the moral values laid down for them by others as “rules for living their life” in order to be a “good person”, it’s actually something that we all do for ourselves based on how we want to be. This is because only we are truly responsible for how we live our life and who we become by way of our own actions. Only we can decide what’s right and wrong for us in terms of our perceptions and the behaviors that result from them, and how we act within our own life to create. As sovereign beings born with the ability to create ourselves, only we are responsible for whom we become as an individual.

       There’s currently a gross misconception being cultivated around all ideas of what it means to actually discriminate and use our ability to make accurate evaluations as somehow being prejudice, because these ideas are only being viewed from a negative context with a specific agenda in mind. One of the primary differences between what we call our lower and higher nature comes as our ability to think for ourselves and make our own decisions as to whom and how we’re going to be. This doesn’t come as making a decision as to what ideas formed by others we’re going to choose to accept as our own so we don’t have to figure stuff out for ourselves, but rather through our ability to reason, analyze, and evaluate ideas in order to see what their morality is in terms of the actions and outcomes they produce. The foundation used for creating our own moral values comes through our ability to both recognize and comprehend universal laws and apply them intelligently to our everyday life as the means of creating ourselves and determining the path our life takes.  

         Many people look to religion and the laws of society as the means of acquiring ready-made moral values, and we all acquire the moral values of our family through our formative conditioning as children. Many have been taught by religion that we’re not born moral beings, but rather born into a life of sin as our lower, animal nature of pure instinct. Where our greatest challenge is resisting our own impulses and being seduced into doing things we don’t really want to. Yet the idea of a moral code used to monitor your own behavior originated in a much more objective and intelligent form as guidelines that we created for ourselves through the recognition, understanding and conscious application of Universal Laws. Laws are what unify multiple dimensions of feelings, thoughts, emotions, and actions to produce a single reality in order to consciously create at the spiritual or energetic realm of pure consciousness. It’s a tool used for developing ourselves to a higher level of consciousness as the use of absolute truth inherent in the Laws and Principles themselves.

       If we look at the story of Moses and how he acquired the 10 Commandments, we’ll realize that he originally received the 10 primary universal laws that were engraved on sapphire tablets. But when he descended from the mountain to deliver the Universal Laws as a means of guiding the people, he saw that they we’re engaging in “pleasures of the flesh” and were not capable of receiving (comprehending or utilizing) the laws. This made him angry and broke the original tablets and went back up the mountain where he then translated the laws into commandments as “rules” engraved on ordinary stone that could be given and blindly followed by those who didn’t have the ability to understand higher laws and use them as the means of governing themselves. He then tried to lead them out of slavery (metaphor for ignorance) where they were being governed by others through the inability to comprehend higher knowledge, where they wandered aimlessly in the desert for 120 years, still unable to guide themselves.      

       What we think of as our spiritual nature is of a substantially higher level of consciousness that has the ability to create itself by way of the practical use and thorough understanding of higher laws of the mind, which are used to shape our morality. All spiritual development comes as moral development that’s produced through our ability to decide for ourselves what’s right and wrong, and based on our decision willfully direct our own actions as the means of creating ourselves. All universal laws provide us with the keys to operating our own mind-body system as the means of creating ourselves by way of our own hand. The higher soul is bestowed with the creative capacities necessary to govern and direct its own growth and development. Who we become is something that only we can determine through our own perceptions, decisions and actions.

       How we choose to live our life, what beliefs we buy into and how we conduct ourselves as a result, is constantly reforming us as a direct correspondence and determines “who” and “how” we become by way of our own actions. We’re not required to “believe” in higher knowledge in order for it to be true, because it’s always true in every situation in terms of how things operate, whether we’re aware of it or not. Our moral code is what we use to direct our behavior and use in order to remain fully conscious in situations that normally render us unconscious or tempt us in some way. Unconsciously we simply live out of whatever morality we we’re taught and trained to as children that comes more as feelings rather than a clear thought process. We engage in activities of various sorts without ever really questioning it in terms of “what type of person” we become due to our actions. Consciously, we form our moral code of conduct out of our understanding of Law that provides us with intuitive instructions for how to create ourselves at both the conscious and subconscious levels. We use the higher capacities of our mind to create ourselves from a fully conscious and self-aware state.

        As a higher soul bestowed with self-awareness, realization, the ability to choose for ourselves, and the will to actualize our choices, we are all fully responsible for our own conduct and who we become by way of our own actions. We can never rightfully blame someone else for our own misgivings and bad decisions, even when we were persuaded, seduced, or emotionally enticed in some way. Once we realize what universal law shows us in terms of how we act on ourselves to shape ourselves by producing the events of our life through our decisions as to what we cooperatively participate in and what we don’t, we’re provided with a powerful set of tools for shaping ourselves as a moral and intelligent being.

       The idea of stepping fully into our power as a sovereign being capable of guiding our own actions through intelligent decisions can become even more confusing through the misconception that after we die we’re going to be “judged” by some higher being and then eternally punished for all of the mistakes we made while unaware of what we were doing. Many people buy into this idea even though it defies reason and has no real purpose. The only being that’s going to judge us after we leave our lower nature (body consciousness) is our self (higher-self) on a higher plane that comes as more of a “life review” that allows us to see the results of what was in fact “cause and effect relationships”. We review our life in terms of the growth we incurred through active use of our higher capacities and the results we created while caught up in emotional illusions of some kind. Our life review brings awareness to the karma we created that sets the basis for the lessons to be learned in our next life. It shows us how we created ourselves out of fundamental errors in our thinking and being.

Primary Universal Laws of Creation

       To begin this journey into a fully conscious and self-aware state, we have to look at the most primary law of creation, often referred to as the “parent law” or the “sexual principle” that forms the very foundation for all life in the entire material world. This is the Law of the Dyad, also called the Vesica Pisces or “womb of the universe”. This is the point where all things come into being, and where all things of the spirit are transformed. Our spirit as our higher soul is eternal in nature and already exists in a self-created state that evolves itself based on whatever it enters into relationship with that’s of a similar nature. Naturally, when we’re talking about a higher plane and the aspect of ourselves that reside naturally on that plane, we’re referring to the mind and our energetic nature that’s void of a physical body, and is what incarnates into the body as the means of experiencing itself by how it expresses using the body. This is the aspect of ourselves that has no beginning or ending within the material world because it originates on a higher plane (dimension) that exists outside of time and space.

The Vesica Pisces birthing reality

          The Vesica Pisces is formed by the regeneration of the Monad that then separates from itself and projects outward in order to form a perception of itself as another. The Monad is represented by a sphere of energy as a field of information that’s polar (electromagnetic) in nature and both expands and contracts (principle of respiration) at the same time within the same space. It forms the experience of the self (within the body looking out) and the outer reality of the self, which are both produced simultaneously by the same mind and soul on different levels and scales. The same pattern (vibratory frequency) is used to create both (inner and outer) as a kind of metaphorical theme that’s sets the (outer) stage necessary to act out certain ideas allowing the opportunity to gain new realizations regarding who’s the one actually creating both. All reality as we’re capable of knowing it only comes through our perception of it. We perceive others and the entire outer world to be “like us” in nature because our mind is what’s creating it all as a projection of known and unknown aspects of ourselves.

        As multidimensional beings, once we enter into a body we have both a lower nature, which is unconscious and instinctively driven through emotional states, and a higher nature that’s intelligent and intuitively driven, and always utilized through various forms of self-control and our ability to regulate ourselves by harmonizing both of our natures as the means of self-creating. Energetically, we only resonate with what’s of a similar nature to us, and whatever we enter into and maintain a relationship with through shared qualities we become more like in terms of the qualities being actively expressed and how we’re being as a result. As we absorb the consciousness of another through the interaction that takes place, we blend with it and begin vibrating in harmony with them, conducting ourselves in a similar manner. They act to stimulate qualities in us that we then use to express and create through the activities that naturally ensue from them. Because this is all happening at the unconscious level, meaning naturally and automatically without our direct awareness, we don’t always realize what’s going on and how it is that we’re being transformed by the consciousness of another.

       As we participate in the same type of behavior, we produce experiences of our self that transform our identity to be more like that of the person influencing us. All actions produce a correlating reaction of the same nature. Through our conduct we draw specific and immediate consequences to ourselves through another fundamental Law of Cause and Effect. Like always acts to produce more of what’s like itself. Whatever we align ourselves with and become like in attitude and behavior, we use to shape ourselves by modifying our original vibration to form a new pattern as our mental paradigm (shaped out of experiences). Whenever we engage in the same activities of another, becoming more like them in nature, we simultaneously form a similar destiny. Whatever energy we take on as a perception that produces certain types of behavior, determines who we are and the path our life takes by how it serves to organize the events of our life as a dynamic, interrelated series of correspondences. The same act, undertaken for different reasons, still produces the same ripple effect as the consequences of our actions and what they mean about us.

       All of reality evolves out of the Parent Law of the Dyad as a new combination (relationship), and is what forms the Triad as its offspring. The Triad represents the reality of the new combination (inner and outer, self and another) formed within the mind and imagination that gives rise to the electromagnetic field as a vibratory frequency for forming an equivalent outer reality of the same nature. Our inner model forms our perceptual lens that we look through in order to perceive the outer world to be of the same nature as we are. All ideas formed in our imagination provide us with a preview of the reality they’ll create, and when played out as a whole experience or scenario, will give us insight into the reality they’ll produce as a series of consequences. Whatever we participate in creating through our actions create not only our outer reality and life situation, but also our inner reality and experience of our self. It’s not what we say that matters, but rather what we do. Our actions always reveal us as they serve to define us.

       Out of the Triad, birthed within the womb of the Dyad as a passionate conception, the Tetrad is formed as a “mirror image” or reflection of the Triad. Whatever we imagine with vivid sensory detail we create as a template for producing as an actual experience of reality. This is how we seed the subconscious with an idea that we want it to create as an outer reality of the same nature. On the spiritual plane of the mind and soul thought itself as an imagined experience of reality is the same as action on the lower, material plane. It’s how we produce something out of nothing. All ideas made into an internal reality within the mind are produced by the soul, and act to express the diverse matrix of ideas that make up the soul as a mental paradigm or vibratory frequency. This is why it’s not enough to simply refrain from taking action on ideas, but rather not forming them in the imagination to begin with, because we’re still actively creating ourselves spiritually by way of our own thoughts by becoming “one in spirit” with the idea. Any thought dwelled in passionately is being gestated and grown and will eventually be expressed outwardly through actions of some kind.

       The Law of Vibration shows us that all things that are of a similar nature vibrate in harmony with each other and are compatible in terms of co-creating. Whatever frequency we vibrate at, forms our internal nature as a specialized pattern or theme, and determines what we resonate with in the world around us. As we begin resonating with a similar frequency, we are drawn into it and it into us (sympathetic induction), where we mutually influence each other and form a new vibration as the combination of shared qualities. There’s no such thing as being influenced by someone who’s vastly different from us. When we’re stimulated by (form a natural reaction to) people and ideas that we perceive as being of a completely different nature than we are it’s because they’re appealing to unknown (denied and repressed) parts of us that we haven’t been able to successfully integrate and bring into expression in an appropriate and acceptable way.

       What we deny and repress, and eventually become unaware of having, still form a natural part of our outer environment and serves to mirror back to us our own hidden aspects. All denied and repressed (disowned) parts of us came by way of how we judged ourselves as being “bad or wrong” somehow, usually according to how we were taught to judge ourselves by others, and allow us to once again access those parts of ourselves and make new decisions as to how we’ll appropriately incorporate them into our natural behavior as the means of expanding our ability to self-express in new ways. All repressed parts of ourselves came by how we accepted the values and beliefs of others, rather than consciously deciding for ourselves. As we accept the morals of others as our own, we create ourselves by way of their decisions and perceptions, and shape ourselves to be like them. When we do this, we’re living out of our lower nature that lacks true self-awareness of the ability to think for ourselves and create ourselves based on our own conclusions, evaluations, and decisions about the morality of things.

       While most of us have been taught that certain actions and behaviors are always bad and should always be refrained from, the fact is that all behaviors are specialized in nature and appropriate within the right context. Our behavior is only inappropriate when used in the wrong way and for the wrong reason, or when it doesn’t produce the outcome we intended to produce in doing it. All actions create realities as consequences within the material plane and are undertaken for a specific reason. Whenever we react to someone else’s actions, we become the “effect” and create out of an unconscious state. Violence is considered good or bad based on the reason it’s being employed and situation it takes place in. If it’s initiated as the means of hurting someone or taking something from them that’s rightfully theirs, then it’s wrong, bad, and destructive. If it’s used to defend ourselves and our loved ones against the aggressive acts of another, then it’s appropriate, good, and the right thing to do.

Making up Your Own Rules for Creating Yourself

       As higher, sovereign and creative souls, we have the natural capacities of our higher mind to create ourselves in a willful and deliberate manner. By understanding the universal laws that govern the higher and lower planes simultaneously through natural processes, we can gain the means for developing our own moral code of conduct. We can design our own system of values that we use to regulate ourselves from a fully conscious perspective. We can become clear on what our standards are that we use to evaluate our relationships in terms of what we want to blend with and become like in nature. We can decide from a clear state of mind, unclouded by emotions and conditioned issues, what qualities and characteristics we want to embody and use to create ourselves and our experiences. We can realize that in every moment we’re making all our decisions by asking ourselves one primary question, “who am I?” How am I going to be in this moment and in relationship to this idea?

       Our moral values involve “qualities” as states of mind that we embody as a “way of being” and use as the means for self-expressing. They involve ideas like honesty, loyalty, integrity, compassion, kindness, generosity, courage, respect, devotion, justice, honor, and so on. Developing a moral code comes by thoroughly thinking about what you know to be right and wrong as your own conscience, and setting guidelines for yourself as standards that you don’t violate under any circumstances. They’re the rules you make up for yourself that prescribe to righteous behavior. They define the type of person you’re creating yourself to be and provide you with the means to do it. They’re what you use in situations where you’re being emotionally triggered into unconscious behaviors, or are being tempted in some way by something you know you don’t really want to do because of who you’ll become by doing it. They provide you with moral guidelines as standards for yourself that you use in making all your decisions as to what you’re going to participate in by becoming it. A moral code provides you with the means for regulating yourself and consistently evolving yourself to a higher level of understanding.

How to Create Moral Values as the means of Directing your Lower Nature

        What we refer to as our lower nature is our body consciousness as our subconscious mind. All perception and natural behaviors are produced by the subconscious, which is also the same mind as the collective unconscious that governs the entire material world of Nature. The subconscious acts as a passive receptor for the suggestions and commands of the higher, conscious mind, which acts to seed it with the reality it wants to use as the means of creating itself. The subconscious doesn’t know the difference between an actual reality and an imagined one, because they’re both actually created in the same way through the faculty of the imagination as described in the Law of the Dyad.

       Our subconscious doesn’t have the ability to make decisions as the means of directing itself, and when not being willfully directed by the conscious mind, creates out of memory, instinct, and illusions formed through emotional states. It doesn’t know how to process a “negative”, or being told what “not to do”, and works to create whatever “picture it’s given” as the reality it’s being directed to create. For this reason all guidelines have to be stated in the positive as what “to do” and how to be, and not in terms of what not to do. As you’re forming an image in your mind of what you don’t want, it simply sees the image as a directive and acts to create it in an automatic fashion without a conscience. It’s only the conscious, self-aware mind that has the ability to decide what it wants to create and how wants to be outside of the conditioned and instinctual nature of the body.

       For this reason, all ideas given to it as an internal representation for creating, have to be formed as “what to do”, what quality to employ in place of automatic behaviors, and how it wants to be as an experience of itself. We shape our identity by how we exist in relationship to everything else. The relationship we form not only exchanges energy and ideas with another, but also gives us a sense of ourselves as a particular type of person. As we act either consciously or unconsciously to create our experiences, we simultaneously create ourselves by way of how we associate and identify with them. Whatever quality we’re embodying as a means of expressing and experiencing ourselves, determine who we become as a soul and what type of experiences we act to naturally create more of.

Understanding the Nature of Relationship and our ability to Discriminate

       Naturally, the type of person we become through our own conscious acts also determines the nature of our relationships and what we act (decide) to attract, repel, and transform. If we decide, for example, that we’re going to be a loyal person, it doesn’t mean that we stay loyal to those who aren’t loyal themselves, or remain loyal to those who turn their back on us during difficult moments, or outright betray us somehow, but rather maintain the ability to discern the difference, and end our relationship with them when we realize they don’t warrant our loyalty. When we realize that they are of a poor character, or have different values than we do, we also realize that our continued relationship with them will only stimulate and bring out in us the same type of attitudes and behaviors, creating more experiences of disloyalty. If you’re truly a loyal person, then you won’t willingly maintain a relationship with a disloyal person. If however, you’re creating an illusion of yourself as being loyal by contrasting and being hurt by a disloyal person, you’ll maintain the relationship in order to continue acting out the drama involved, which is what you’re really using to create yourself.  

        If honesty is a moral value for us, and we’re in relationship with someone who is dishonest and has values that justify lying, then we don’t argue to try and change them or make them see their faults (according to us), but simply acknowledge their tendency to be this way, and end our relationship with them as a result. Like always produces and acts to create more of what’s like itself. Whatever morals we set for ourselves, sets standards and guidelines for what type of relationships we naturally form and maintain with a sense of awareness. If we value honesty, yet tolerate lying, and are willing to stay in relationship with a dishonest person, then our value as a standard for ourselves becomes dishonesty. Whatever we tolerate and allow through the relationships that we maintain in a consistent fashion sets the standards as a type of experience and moral character that we use to create ourselves to be of a similar nature.

       If we realize we’re doing this without direct awareness of what we’re doing and why, then it provides the mirror for us to look at parts of ourselves that are operating in us unconsciously. It shows us where there’s conflict between the unknown and chosen parts of us. It shows us how we’re working against our self in being able to make conscious decisions for how we’re going to be and what kind of person we are. If we choose honesty as a moral value that we use to direct all of our own behavior, that means that even in the moments when we find ourselves tempted to lie for whatever reason, we make our self be honest instead. We use it to discipline ourselves and hold ourselves to our code of honor as an honest person. We use it as the means for guiding ourselves in moments when we’re triggered into an unconscious state as an emotional reaction or where we feel tempted because of the nature of the situation at hand that ultimately results in being dishonest.

         Even in the event that we find ourselves being dishonest for some reason, we can self-reflect on what caused it, and make the necessary corrections to our own actions. If you can justify your right to be dishonest (telling a white lie so you don’t hurt someone’s feelings) and therefore give yourself exceptions to your own rule, then it’s not an actual “moral value” or true standard. In this case you can either use it to correct your own perspective and perception of the situation or you can eliminate it as a moral value. This doesn’t make you wrong or a bad person for being dishonest, it’s simply how you’re choosing to conduct yourself as a certain type of person, and reveals your willingness to create an illusion in place of what you know to be true. As you make a decision to allow yourself to be dishonest, you’ll naturally attract people who are also dishonest (where it’ll be accepted as part of the relationship) and co-create situations that are based on lying. Either way, it’s how you’re using your own will to create yourself as the type of person who participates in creating whatever reality results from it.

The Unified Nature of Things

       Likewise, when we set a standard for ourselves as being honest, especially to ourselves, we use that anytime we find ourselves in a situation where we’re being tempted to lie, and force ourselves instead to be honest. All values exist as a “system of values” (rather than independent of each other) that all play off of and are interdependent with each other. One produces and acts as complementary to the others. In being honest we demonstrate integrity, which is honorable, warrants respect, and makes us trustworthy. Likewise all people who are honest and therefore have integrity also command our respect and we come to trust them. If we’re willing to lie in the right situation, then we lack integrity, are not trustworthy, and are seldom respected by others once they realize we’re lying. So our moral values and standards, like our beliefs, exist in a unified state as a dynamic system. One value produces, validates, and maintains all of the other ones through the relationship they form with each other. Just as our beliefs are formed out of a whole system of interrelated beliefs that together form all of our perceptions and how we interpret the events of our life to give them meaning.

       Whatever values we hold and the standards we set for ourselves as the means of governing our own conduct through our higher nature, becomes the most prominent means of creating our self from a fully conscious state. It’s how we step outside of our conditioning where we were created by others while in a predominantly unconscious state, and act on ourselves to transform ourselves to a higher idea. All spiritual development comes through our moral development and our ability to be self-determined through our own choices and actions. It comes through our ability to form correct perceptions of ourselves by the mirror others provide, and make actual decisions about how we’re going to be in relationship with everything else. It comes through realizing who we are and how we’re being in the most ordinary sense. We’re able to let go of the illusions we were conditioned with through our upbringing, and step into the realm of self-awareness where we realize we can direct our own mind and actions in a deliberate and precise manner by using our will to discipline ourselves in acting out our decisions. When we wake-up in the midst of the reality created from an unconscious state and begin seeing things in a new light, we become clear on the fact that in every moment we’re making the decisions as to who we’re going to be, and begin consistently imposing a direction on our life as the one who’s consciously creating our own destiny.

The Art of Creating Yourself as a Higher Level of Consciousness

       The most notable difference between humans and animals lies in our ability to create ourselves in an intentional and deliberate manner. We all suffer from a common dilemma due to the fact that we’re multidimensional beings and manifest into the world through an animal-like body, and as a result, have what we call both a higher and lower nature. We’re all born as children into our lower nature where only our subconscious is active and dominant, and is what forms our personality through how we’re conditioned by others in our formative years. All of our formative conditioning, which is what forms all of our core-beliefs that later spawn a whole series of correlated beliefs as our “belief-system” and mental paradigm, is accomplished while we’re in a primary form of hypnosis.

       We don’t develop our conscious, self-aware mind until we enter adolescence, where our primary nature is already established and we tend to continue the process of being shaped and determined by others and our social environment. The self-conscious aspect of our mind begins developing around seven or eight, and becomes fully developed as young adults. By the time we enter our mid to late twenties our self-conscious mind is fully developed and we’re capable of assuming the responsibility for creating ourselves, yet often don’t know how because we’ve never been taught. Very few of us are ever taught how to use our mind and imagination in order to choose how we want to be, and then act to willfully create ourselves in a deliberate and controlled manner.  

       We don’t need to undergo years of psychotherapy and numerous healing modalities as a means of finding ourselves or dissolving the psychological wounds that prevent us from living a fully conscious and self-aware life. We can’t begin accessing our true nature as our higher self while we’re submerged in and still identifying with the conditioned consciousness of our upbringing, which was formed out of an unconscious and unaware state. As long as we’re living the stories of our youth by replaying selected memories over and over, continuing to identify with them, we remain locked in a prison of our own making. We possess the key to our own freedom, but usually don’t realize it, or don’t know how to use it when we do realize it.

Forming an Image of Yourself

       Throughout our life from around 12 to 14 years on, we begin forming our higher faculties which involves creating our identity. Our identity, or what’s referred to as the “I” or “I am” of the higher Soul is the most natural way we self-create in an automatic fashion. As humans we form a personal identity that separates us from others while still fitting into the group mind. It’s by way of our ability to choose and actively create our own style and identity that we begin forging ourselves through the experiences we create of ourselves. As we associate ourselves with others, we act “on ourselves” to create ourselves to be like them in some way. As we both like and therefore relate to someone, or dislike and fail to relate to them, we shape an image of ourselves in relationship with them.

       Whatever traits and emotional states the people we maintain relationships with have and are actively and openly expressing, serves to develop those same emotions and traits in us. All true creation as the act of producing a “new element” through a unique combination of qualities comes naturally as part of our development through our relationships. By combining two qualities that are of a similar yet unique nature, we systematically produce a third as a new way of being and functioning. As we enter into relationship with different types of people they serve to stimulate us in new ways that bring out different qualities and ways of being in us and we develop those qualities by way of whatever dynamic we play out through the nature of the relationship itself. In this way, qualities and dynamics are always intimately related. As we embody a way of being we naturally assume acting out the same type of dynamic we used initially in actively expressing it.

Unconsciously Creating Ourselves

       Most people go through their entire life creating themselves through their relationships and who and what they associate with or live in near proximity of, without ever realizing it. This is what an “unconscious state” is, you don’t have an actual awareness or realization of what you’re doing to yourself or why, because you do it automatically without having to “think about it”. Thinking as its being used here, is when we step back for a moment, detach from the idea and emotions involved briefly, and view it from a purely non-personal perspective where we move out of our “story about” things and are able to intuitively perceive the laws that are operating instead. We form a momentary evaluation of ourselves in terms of how we’re “sensing ourselves” as that type of person, and we decide whether or not we’ll use it as the means of continuing to develop ourselves in that way.

       From an unconscious perspective we view everything from within our personal awareness acquired through our formative conditioning where we began forming a story about ourselves and life in general as a kind of theme. This story, formed as a way of trying to make sense out of what was happening to us while not possessing the ability to view it in a detached and logical manner, formed the basis for our “life theme” that we then continue to live out of as adults. The unconscious mind is instinctual and emotionally driven, which means it’s the state we were in during emotionally intense experiences that formed the meaning they had for us that we then began identifying with through the story we told ourselves about it. Because our identity is formed out of the meaningful story we’re always telling ourselves internally through our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, we can have trouble changing because we find it too difficult to give up our story about ourselves. It’s through our identity that we know “how to be” in different situations. To give up our story is to not know “who we are”.

       In order to create something new and different you have to let go of the old and step into unknown ideas about yourself where you create yourself as a different “type” of person. The motivating force of the subconscious mind is “self-preservation” and maintaining the status quo. It creates by repeating whatever patterns as habitual tendencies it’s been programmed with. It does this by way of maintaining consistent emotional states, which tend to run our thoughts and imagination, making it very powerful and somewhat hard to manage. Our subconscious produces all of our natural perceptions and behaviors, and is the essential means for all forms of personal transformation as self-facilitated growth and development.

       What this tells us is that in order to truly change as a means of actively creating ourselves, we have to not only work with the subconscious, but we also have to “speak to it” in its own language. One of the problems people have is they don’t realize that not only do the two aspects of their material mind speak and communicate in different ways, but also play different roles and functions in creating the same thing. We only change and grow ourselves while in a particular body and personality by learning how to use our self-conscious mind to direct and influence our subconscious, which is what it’s actually designed to do. The means by which we do this is by realizing the natural laws that govern the mind and learning how to work intelligently with them in a cooperative and intentional manner.

Self-Creation and the Art of Transmutation

       While many approach this idea by imagining that they need a clean slate, this is never the answer. All intentional self-creation, which is only possible as a mature adult with a fully developed self-conscious (grey matter of the brain) mind, comes as transformation of an existing quality and character trait to another that’s of a complementary nature. Habits are never “broke” or simply stopped, but are instead replaced by better, more beneficial habits. The largest part of our being is conducted below the level of awareness and comes as a natural way of being in the world that we’re doing all the time, even when we’re not aware of it or making it a point to do it. You know when you’ve actually changed when it becomes a natural part of your subconscious mind and you no longer have to produce it in a thoughtful and deliberate way. It simply becomes a natural part of your awareness and perception of the outer world, and forms natural and automatic behaviors as a result.

       All transformation comes through the act of altering the “state” of something. We move something from an existing state and set of conditions to another, more desirable state. The basic principle for doing this is through a practical understanding of polarity. All things not only exist in polarity to everything else, but also in a polar state of complementary opposites that are an inherent part of the same pattern. We have to remove our attention from the outer appearance of things and direct it instead to the “inner nature” that’s acting to give it life and animate it with a certain type of character. We have to move from thinking in materialistic terms and perceive energetically (spiritually) instead. The outer appearance of a being is somewhat irrelevant outside of the fact that it’s produced in relationship with the spiritual being inhabiting and using it to express through. All personal transformation only comes by way of intentionally developing your character, which is what produces all of your perceptions, attitude and style of thinking, emotions, and correlating behaviors and activities.

Self-Reflection and Realizing Your True Potential

       In order to consciously begin this dynamic process of self-creation, we have to start by first becoming aware of what exists within us as latent potential. We all come into this world as a Soul that has a specific design. Our design is formed out of a dynamic matrix of qualities and characteristics, which are formed by the personalization of archetypal energies we share with all of mankind (zodiac), that are either active or dormant, and are developed to certain degrees and potencies through our formative conditioning as children. Through our childhood conditioning only some aspects and qualities are stimulated and brought out in us, and then developed into strengths through the dynamics being played out by our family and prominent relationships, and others remain latent and untapped. So wherever you are and whoever you’ve become at this point in your life is due to a certain formula of active and latent potential.

         Whatever exists in you as underutilized potential exists as a form of raw, untried qualities that were developed to different degrees in previous lives, and are available for expression and continued development in this life. Whatever hasn’t been brought out and developed in us through life events and circumstances can be actively “chosen”, and brought out through active use of your will, or you can consciously place yourself in relationships of various sorts that will act to naturally stimulate them and provide the dynamics through which you can develop them. In the same manner, qualities that we’ve been trained to express in negative and unproductive or destructive ways, can be transformed through self-awareness and consciously choosing to replace them with their opposing complementary aspect.

Creating an Ideal

       Like all acts of conscious creation you have to begin by creating a vision or symbolic idea of what it is you’re going to create. Your vision for creating as a form of self-expression has to be undertaken through a form of inspiration. All transformation comes as growth of some kind, and the idea you create has to require you to “grow into it”. We only grow through effort and striving, so it needs to be something you aspire towards that creates a kind of “labor of love”. All possibility for growth only comes by making latent potential and energies active and outwardly expressive. We can only grow what’s already within us as an inactive part of our nature.

       We don’t ever grow and transform ourselves by acquiring something that we don’t already possess. The only thing that can be awakened in us is what’s already there in a dormant and inactive state. So in creating an “ideal” of yourself as your best possibility, never look outside or for someone else to tell you how you should be. This is purely an “inside job” and everything you need to undertake a transformational journey to your higher self is within you simply waiting to be discovered and brought to life through realization, actively choosing it, and willfully embodying it as the means for expressing yourself in a different way. This is something that only you do to yourself. As an adult with a fully developed self-conscious mind, nobody else is ever doing anything “to you” without your consent and willing participation.

       Your “ideal” can be thought of as a higher, more authentic and true version of yourself. It comes through the decision to develop yourself to be the best you can be. It’s the art of bringing your full potential into an active and expressive state. It’s creating a model as a kind of blueprint or diagram for transforming all qualities that have been developed in a negative and self-destructive manner. It becomes the model of yourself that you use as the means of self-reflecting and realizing all the qualities and traits in you that need to be transformed in order to achieve your highest possibility for self-creating as your normal way of being.

       An ideal provides you with the means for recognizing parts of yourself you don’t like to acknowledge or own so that you can finally act on yourself to change them in whatever way you want to. Your ideal self shouldn’t pertain to purely physical goals in terms of enhancing your body or acquiring worldly success, but rather to your inner essence and the qualities you naturally possess that are “causal” in nature, and act to systematically produce the equivalent outer manifestation as your perception and interpretation of reality. Our inner nature (Soul) always produces the outer nature as a by-product or equivalent analogy.

       What we refer to as “qualities” are metaphorical and therefore universal in nature, and when embodied and used to express yourself, produce a certain “way of being” that naturally causes you to live a certain way by telling a certain type of story. Our current personality and identity are produced automatically through the combination and formula of active energies as qualities that work to produce our natural characteristics. By changing the formula being used to actively self-express, we change our inner nature and how we naturally are in the world, and we begin “sensing ourselves” in new and different ways. So the first step required to consciously create yourself is to develop an idea about yourself that brings a heightened sense of awareness to all of your inner qualities, gifts, talents, special abilities, interests, likes and dislikes, traits, values, and attitude and beliefs, in order to form an objective and unbiased image of yourself as you currently exist. Then form an image of how you’d like to be instead as the full expression of all your special talents and abilities.

       Our ideal should be something only we create and should serve to invoke a deep feeling of reverence in us as the means of achieving it. It should be comprised of qualities and ways of being that we respect, admire, adore, honor, and ultimately fall in love with. It should inspire us with feelings of beauty, love, and devotion in its creation. All Artists always create out of a love for their subject and the joy of creating as an “experience”. If we create it in a way that makes us feel hard-pressed to become it through a form of drudgery, where we struggle and suffer in some way, then we not only won’t accomplish it, but will come to resent and ultimately resist it. It’s the attitude we employ that determines our approach and method. Whatever feeling we embody as the means of creating determines the actual outcome that’s produced.

       The outcomes of all goals are determined by the feeling and experience we create in pursuing it. If your ideal doesn’t inspire you with a kind of unconditional love for its creation, then you either need to keep working with it or start over with a different attitude. You don’t want to make it unrealistic, but rather even more realistic because it’s something that lives inside of you as a possibility for your life. You should focus on qualities and character traits that you want or would need as a way of “becoming it”. It’s not the physical body as an “image” that you’re going for, but rather the “type of person” you become as a way of being.

       Once you have your ideal formulated in a specific way, you can use it as a rule or general guide for making decisions and creating in all areas of your life. It becomes the vision and focal point for your life that provides you with the means for directing all of your activities and making moment by moment decisions by asking yourself “who am I?” and how am I going to be right now in relationship with this? It provides you with the outline for producing a whole series of smaller goals as the process necessary for achieving it in a step-by-step manner. You don’t want to try and make too many changes at once because it can become overwhelming and may only act instead to scatter your energies and prevent you from concentrating. Most life changes come as a sequence of activities where one lays the foundation necessary for the next one to systematically emerge and take place. One of the most common ways we sabotage ourselves is by bringing to many things into the picture all at once that serves to create an experience of struggling, loss, and suffering as a result.

       You want to pick one quality, habit or tendency, or one area of your life that you want to transform, concentrate all of your attention and effort into creating that, and don’t move onto the next until it’s been thoroughly accomplished as a “natural part of you”. You know when you’ve succeeded in apprehending or transforming a quality when it becomes a natural part of your perception and natural way of being without having to think about it or put effort into it. This usually takes around 40 days or 6 weeks to accomplish by “building it into the muscle” as a spontaneous part of your nature and identity. Once it becomes natural and automatic it lays the foundation necessary for you to move on to the next goal.

       The secret to creation and transformation lies in self-awareness, making clear decisions from a fully conscious state, and concentrating your mind without distractions or going unconscious and losing track of what you’re doing. It comes by forming a “devoted practice” where you concentrate on a single idea for the period of time it takes to turn it into a habit as a natural way of being in the world. If you lose your focus and forget what you’re doing for several days because you get distracted and caught up in stuff, reverting back to a fundamentally unconscious state, simply realize and become aware of it, and redirect your attention back onto your goal and continue practicing. The more you do this the easier it gets and the longer you can remain fully conscious in your life. All life skills only come by way of consistent and devoted practice as a love for the work itself.

Understanding the Nature of Emotions and how we Create Reality out of Unconscious States

We can gain a clear understanding of the nature of emotions and how they work in our life to control us by simply observing what happens when we experience an emotion and have a reaction as a result. Emotions are the natural forces of the material world that are designed to produce automatic behaviors that don’t require thought or a decision. They are what operate the “instinctual field” that governs all living beings of the natural world that don’t possess the higher mental capacities of self-realization, thought, discrimination, and will that are necessary to self-create. Emotions themselves are invisible forces that are constantly being generated, transmitted, and received within the atmosphere of the material plane, also referred to as the astral plane. Emotions are always associated to memory of some kind and are an animating force that works through the etheric body of the astral plane to stimulate the subtle organs (chakras), which then stimulate the Endocrine glands of the physical body, producing a whole series of chemical messengers that change the energetic state of the whole body to match the emotion.

We can think of emotions as being the language of the subconscious mind which forms the unified field of the material world, and is what unites and serves to orchestrate the instinctual behaviors of both the animal and plant kingdoms, of which we as humans are a natural part. Emotions are always associated to memories, which are what produces the patterns for automatic behaviors in animals that all reside in and live out of a primarily unconscious state that lacks self-awareness and the ability to create in a unique fashion. The memory used by the animal kingdom is universal in nature, and used by all members of the same species to produce the shared behaviors of that species, whereas humans have the creative ability to produce their own memories as a personalized version of the universal memory that governs all of humanity.

The Relationship between Thought, Memory and Emotion

Only humans have to ability to “think” as a way of producing the imaginary reality of our thoughts as internal representations that form personalized memory of various forms that’s used as a “thematic template” for creating a corresponding outer reality as an illusion that simultaneously produces all of our natural behaviors. All of what we call “intelligence” exists as organized fields of information that form patterns of reality as memory. A memory is produced as an interpretation of an event that gives it meaning as the expression of the emotion being experienced during the event. The meaning we give something forms a kind of theme that can be applied to any number of situations as the perceptual lens and filtering system that provides us with an instantaneous means of interpreting events to all mean the same thing. The meaning something has as a feeling it gives us forms the basis for the story we tell ourselves about it that creates how we experience it. We don’t ever form memories as the recollection of factual details of the event itself (unless we set out with the specific aim of doing so), but rather by forming a story as a “type of experience” based on the emotion we were experiencing at the time.

Self-made memory as a unique account of an event is always formed out of an emotional state, and is only “accessible” and able to be recollected from that same emotional state. The memories we naturally reference and use to form our thoughts and perceptions are directly correlated and a by-product of the emotional state we were in at the time we formed them. We act as an energetic tuner and receiver for thoughts and memories that are correlated with and produce the realities of our emotional state. If we’re in a positive and uplifted state, we access and use memories formed out of that same state as our perceptual lens for creating more memories of that same kind. If we’re sad and depressed, we dwell in past experiences that were sad and depressing, and think about things that give us more of that same feeling. Our “emotional state” becomes our perceptual lens for perceiving the present to be of the same nature as the past. All states of mind are self-perpetuating and act to multiply and produce more of the same states through the experiences they serve to propagate.

The Collective Unconscious of Humanity

What we call the material world is produced and governed by a unified field of the subconscious mind as the collective unconscious of humanity as it pertains to our mammalian body and personal existence. The entire natural world of the plant and animal kingdom is unconscious in nature, and is operated by emotional impulses that produce natural (automatic) behaviors. The subconscious mind, which is the aspect of the mind that connects all of us, is emotionally driven and functions out of universal memory that’s tuned into the state of mind and consciousness of the individual, downloading it with certain types of information as collective memory. As humans we experience this as random thoughts that come to us seemingly out of nowhere, but that are so similar to our normal thoughts that we mistake them for being our own.

Different species and types of animals tune into the memory within the collective unconscious that provide it with self-knowledge and instructions for living as its natural instinct. They don’t have to be taught or accept the belief of someone else, or have the ability to create personal beliefs in place of actual knowledge, but instinctively know what to do in order to live and survive from birth. Animals don’t have a self-conscious mind and the ability to create in an individual manner apart from their species and kind, and all form the same behaviors that only differ in the sense of the personality they possess in how they perform them. All dogs, for example, act like a dog, though they have their own unique personality that makes them distinguishable from other dogs in “how” they do the same behaviors.

Instinct comes as universal memory that provides the intelligence and animating life force for creating, orchestrating, and maintaining an incredibly diverse Eco-system in an automated fashion that all live and function in harmony with each other. Emotional charges as impulses and passions are what serve to activate the memory necessary to produce automatic, natural behaviors, that don’t require and form of realization, calculated decision, thought-process, or will to carry out. All behaviors of the animal kingdom are produced and driven by natural impulses as emotional charges that are being transmitted from one being to another and throughout the atmosphere as a form of telepathy.

What Distinguishes Humans from Animals

What separates us from the animals is that we have the ability to create our own memories in our imagination by how we emotionally interpret the events of our life to give them meaning. We take a universal idea as a theme and use it to produce a unique version as a personal reality that forms our soul’s memory and makes us unique and different from everyone else. While our thoughts, which are associated to individually created memories, are somewhat unique and different from others based on how we interpreted the events of our life to create them, the emotions we share in common are universal in nature and experienced pretty much the same way by everyone. Emotions weren’t originally designed to be “brought into our thinking” as the means of creating illusions as personal realities that form our memory base, but merely as a form of instinct that aids us in our ability to live and survive within the instinctual world by giving us automatic behaviors as instant reactions.

The other unique ability we have as humans that sets us apart from the animal kingdom is we have the ability to generate and produce our own emotional state based on what we focus on and think about. Emotion typically comes in two ways, one as a transmission from one person or being to another where it’s absorbed and taken on, and as a response to our own thoughts. Whatever we focus on and think about automatically produces our emotional state as a correspondence. Thought and emotion are always connected, and one serves to form and determine the other. Likewise, whatever memories we dwell in produces in us the same emotional states we were in when forming the memories. We have the ability to “choose what we focus on” and direct our own thoughts to intentionally keep ourselves tuned to certain emotional states. Whereas animals are purely impulse driven based on the present events of their life and what behaviors are the most beneficial and appropriate.

Instinct as universal knowledge on the higher plane of consciousness comes to us in the material plane as intuition. When we intuitively sense something through a feeling about it, we perceive its inner nature and character as a form of “knowing” that comes without a cognitive thought process. We know the true nature of someone or something without knowing why or how we know. It comes in an instantaneous and automatic fashion as a realization that forms a mental impression in our imagination, similar to how we play out a memory as the means of creating an experience, except it’s not of a personal nature and not generated or formed by us. The entire material world of “formed beings” as a dynamic ecosystem is formed out of and animated by various forms of universal memory.

Energy as Emotion and Patterns for Automatic Processes

Memory, whether universal in nature as an archetype, instinctual as the basis for life, or personal as our own creative ability to produce personal versions of reality, comes as an organized field of information that’s stabilized into a fixed pattern. While we commonly hear that all “things” vibrate at a certain rate, meaning energy as a material object or being exists within a certain level and quality of consciousness, the fact is all material objects are formed out of memory as an electromagnetic field that’s contained in DNA, the subconscious mind, and the soul, all of which form union and combine with each other based on shared memory. This unification of shared memory is what acts to form a unified field as a pattern that produces a vibratory frequency. All material form is a mental construct formed out of memory that vibrates at a certain frequency.

The mind itself exists in a potential, unformed state, and is the medium that uses a universal archetype as a thematic idea for shaping matter into a pattern that then generates and emanates an electromagnetic field as a frequency. We know that a frequency contains a pattern and a self-organizing mechanism that serves to organize information into a formula or configuration as a living being, while often failing to realize that it’s the mind that produces the frequency by how it forms an “internal representation as the etheric double” that acts as a spatial map for organizing and structuring matter. As we form an internal reality as a thought-form, we magnetize it by drawing in the equivalent emotion, which acts to produce the activity as a vibratory frequency that transforms it into an actual outer reality of the same nature. All reality is formed by our “perception of it”, which comes by way of a filtering system that reorganizes the information available into a pattern that matches our memory, making it appear different to us.

       Through our ability to construct material forms in our imagination, we produce a form of virtual memory that gives the subconscious mind the pattern necessary for organizing the outer into a similar idea. The imaginary reality we form as an internal representation, whether out of an actual memory or universal one that’s not based on an actual experience, is a form of “request” for an equivalent outer experience. As we feel, think, and imagine the reality of our thoughts, we tune ourselves to the emotional state of that reality and it acts as a receiver and generator for more of the same type of realities. Whatever we think about in a consistent and emotionally intense way forms our perceptual lens that we look through and use to form our experiences by how we interpret the information that’s available in any situation to form our perception of it.

This process also works in reverse, and anytime we absorb and “take on” an emotion that’s being projected and transmitted through the atmosphere by another, it acts to adjust our emotional state to be equivalent to it. Once our emotional state is tuned to the same frequency, it determines how we act, what type of memories we use to form our interpretations, and what type of things we think about. We form a “coherent state” and act to co-create a joint reality out of the same state. As we express an emotion by coupling it with a memory as a correlating idea, it produces an instant experience that amplifies and gives us more of that same emotion. In this way, our state of mind and the reality it perceives and creates becomes self-perpetuating and forms a kind of closed system. As we take on the emotions being projected by others, and that exist naturally in the space around us, we “adjust” chemically to become of the same nature and state as our environment. This is the most basic form of evolution that serves to constantly form us to be of the same nature instinctually as the environment we live and survive in.

The Language of the Subconscious

Emotions are the energetic language of the material plane that acts as a mechanism for organizing information as memory into corresponding realities. Emotion and thought act together to produce internal realities that provide the perceptual filter and lens for producing an equivalent outer reality as our experience of it. Whatever outer reality we have to work out of, we act to reorganize the information available in it by only noticing and bringing out what matches it and can be used to produce our desired experience, while simultaneously ignoring and leaving out what doesn’t. We’re always taking what exists as an objective and neutral reality that’s a part from us, and restructuring it to produce a subjective reality that’s an inherent part of us as our creation.

We never really perceive things as they actually are, but rather as “we are” by how we reform them out of our memories and mental paradigm. We’re always remaking others in our own image according to our own beliefs, preferences, and judgments about them. Every single person that’s a part of the same event will form a different experience of it and tell a different story about it. This is because as humans we’re bestowed with the higher capacities of the mind and “create reality” out of our perception of it through a dynamic filtering system that operates by the principle of “natural selection”. When we’re governed by our emotions and exist in a constant reactive state, we live out of a primarily unconscious state as a subverted form of instinct. We engage in a constant form of automated processes that run redundant behavioral patterns over and over as a means of creating ourselves.

Once we understand the principle at work in emotions we can realize that anyone who lives out of a state of constant emotional reactions is always creating the present to be the same as the past. They’re constantly bringing the memories of the past into the present as the means of interpreting and perceiving the present events to mean the same thing and tell the same type of story about them. When we live out of the illusions created by our emotional reactions, we’re living and creating our life out of an unconscious state without any direct awareness of what we’re doing and why. We create illusions based on applying past memories to the present as a way of shaping them into the same type of story and experiencing them in the same way. Through awareness of how we act to create our own experiences, we can begin neutralizing the emotions of others being outwardly expressed and projected towards us, and can perceive things from a calm and relaxed state instead.

As we live out of constant emotional states we form our experiences of reality out of our beliefs and judgments about them rather than perceiving them in a neutral and unbiased way as they actually are. We take on our animalistic tendencies and create in an automatic and instinctual way by simply forming the same type of perceptions and behaviors over and over without realizing that we have to ability to change them and create in a more purposeful manner by choosing the meaning we give things and using our will to produce new types of experiences by learning how to tell a different type of story. As we begin recognizing our own emotionally driven tendencies we steadily empower ourselves to be able to think and create in new and more diverse ways.

Self-Mastery: Metamorphosis, Self-Creation, and the Art of Becoming

The true meaning of what we call “self-mastery” is our ability to master our own nature and resume conscious control over our higher capacities for creating ourselves. The fact is we’re always in the process of creating ourselves in every moment based on what we enter into relationship with, blend with energetically, and become like in nature. The mind, like the body, is comprised of vibrating essence that’s undergoing a constant process of metamorphosis by exchanging subtle energy with everything around it. The mind is a combination of both spirit and matter, and while it coagulates into temporary forms and becomes somewhat fixed and habitual in nature, it still remains in a constant flux and flow within the same fixed patterns and tendencies. The mind is what constitutes the inner nature and essence of form, and is what gives it its character and personality that determines how it functions and behaves, and what type of stories it naturally participates in.

Nothing can be truly “known” unless it’s experienced and lived. We “become” by way of our self-created experiences. In order to know ourselves in a certain way, we have to create an experience of it. By experiencing it, we get a sense of ourselves as the experience, and identify with “being that way”. The more experiences we have of a certain nature, the more firmly we become identified with being of the same nature. This is how we’re “conditioned” through the dramas and dynamics being played out that we’re a part of that serve to shape our personality and inner nature as our constitution and character. Once the initial pattern is established, we then act unconsciously to generate more and more of the same type of experiences as the outer expression of our inner nature that acts simultaneously to create us through habitual tendencies. The mind is fluid, malleable, and fixed simultaneously, and readily shapes into patterns as a self-organizing mechanism that then undergoes a constant state of re-organizing its essential structure by blending with other natures (minds) of a similar, yet diverse nature.

The Nature of the Mind as the Monad

The mind, as a combination of both spirit (archetypes) and matter (essence), forms a sphere of stabilized energy as an electromagnetic field of alternating currents, referred to in modern science as a Torus, and simply as a “sphere” or “Monad” in Spiritual Sciences. This electromagnetic sphere of energy is comprised of information that’s constantly being absorbed, broke down to complementary terms, then assimilated and synthesized into an overall information matrix, upgrading and modifying it. All energy as vibration contains information as patterns that produce form structured by an inherent self-organizing mechanism. The main frequency for our information matrix as our mental paradigm or “model of the world” is always absorbing and integrating other information of a similar nature, and reorganizing itself by incorporating.

We can only resonate with and thereby absorb into our mind information that’s of the same or similar frequency (nature) to us. While all have what we can call a “consistent frequency” that we vibrate at as our core, habitual frequency (mind-set), it can still act to attract, draw in, and integrate information that’s somewhat different yet close enough in nature that it serves to grow and evolve our model by expanding it. Other information that’s too different in nature and can’t be readily incorporated, that’s vibrating at a frequency to far apart from ours, can’t be recognized or understood, and so we can’t serve as a channel for it to manifest through us. For this reason, evolution only comes through a constant process of “learning by becoming one with other spheres” and steadily modifying our vibration and inner nature through gradual increments. When learning stops, growth stops, and we become fixed and start dying.

The mind-field as a Torus (sphere), represented in Sacred Geometry by the “Flower of Life” as a sphere of complementary electromagnetic currents circulating in opposite directions simultaneously within the same space, both expands and contracts as a form of respiration. As it expands out to a peripheral boundary, it’s simultaneously attracting and repulsing information, then turns back towards its core and draws the magnetized information into itself for metabolizing. As its vibration shifts through the incorporation of new energy, it no longer resonates with old, outdated information vibrating at a different rate, and it’s eliminated from the system as a form of waste by exhaling and sending it back out into the space around us as a form of recycling. So we’re constantly in the process of organizing and reorganizing ourselves as an energetic matrix of knowledge attained by blending into it and becoming of the same nature.

Sexual Union

The Sexual Principle

We’re always mixing and blending into the spheres of intelligent energy around us through the natural activity of the subconscious mind. We do this naturally and without any direct awareness of what’s taking place, and what’s acting “on” and “in” us to create us. As we blend and mix with other mind-fields, we take on the same nature and essence and start becoming like them in nature. This is a natural form of influence that’s going on all the time through the relationships we naturally form with everyone and everything around us. Whomever we associate with on a regular basis, we start becoming like in attitude and outlook, mind-set, emotions, thoughts, behaviors and tendencies, and so on. The stronger and more intimate the relationship, the more it effects and transforms us. No bond is greater than sexual intercourse, or mother and child, where an actual “fusion” takes place, or the child grows in and is produced by the same nature as the mother.

Anyone that we’ve had sexual intercourse with we permanently bond with in nature and essence, shaping us morally and determining our destiny through a shared nature. This is why marriage was only consummated through sexual intercourse where two people became “as one in spirit and mind”, and began operating as a single entity. This principle is represented in modern quantum physics by an “interference pattern”, formed by two fields of the same frequency blending together, altering the frequency of both to form a new coherent frequency, and “entanglement” where any two particles (entities) that are “born together” or become entangled (fuse energetically), become “as one” and continue to function as the same nature or frequency even when separated by great distances. This is often hard for us to understand in practical terms because it happens at the subtle level of the subconscious mind that operates automatically without our direct awareness. This is how we form “karmic bonds” with people that last throughout time where we continue incarnating together through a shared energetic (spiritual) nature that cooperatively plays out a joint experience of reality.

The Principles of Sacred Geometry

In Spiritual Sciences this same idea is represented in Sacred Geometry as the Tetrad, where the Monad (sphere of consciousness) blends into and forms union with a regenerated aspect of itself as an energetic marriage of polar opposites. This marriage forms the Dyad as the “womb of the universe”, and together produce a new inner nature as the Triad (subtle body), which then provides the foundation for the outer reality of the Tetrad as its offspring(physical body). This symbolizes the “three in one” principle of all single entities being comprised of complementary opposites who interact to form a third, functional aspect as a new and unique combination of shared qualities. Our inner nature is always mingling with everything around us, fluctuating and changing, yet stable and consistent, forming our perception of reality and all of our actions and deeds.

As we go through life, we’re always exchanging energy and information with others and our environment, experiencing ourselves by way of the exchange in new and varied ways, and transforming our identity by way of the experiences it brings. This is the process we develop our ego through as our identification with the material world. Likewise, this is also the process we use to form our identity in and intentional and purposeful way. All of our life events and our relationship with others provide us with a kind of “moral test” where we’re attracted to and seduced by other people’s nature and actions. As we enter into relationship with them and the activities they naturally engage in and take on the same qualities as a result, and we like how we become and thereby start identifying with being that type of person, we become the same in nature and are ultimately corrupted by it at the soul level. As we transform ourselves to “lower energies”, those born out of desire for pleasure and personal gain of some kind, that strengthens our identification with material things, we can no longer serve as the vehicle for “higher energies”, and we cut ourselves off from our spiritual source as the result. We condemn our soul to the material existence our identity is dependent on for creating ourselves, and that “false identity” dies with the body that birthed and sustained it.

        In all forms of initiation as spiritual growth and awakening a process of self-purification is necessary as the first step, because all higher knowledge can only come “through” a nature that’s of a similar or equivalent nature. One that’s of a similar morality and vibratory frequency in terms of its moral character. We can only “attain” knowledge through our ability to become one with it as an experience of it. Higher, spiritual knowledge only comes through direct experience, not as a theory that’s recited and talked about but never brought into practice. All spiritual knowledge is a practice of some kind that produces and experience of it “as” it. We only learn by living. So a purification process is the prerequisite and foundation necessary for becoming a vehicle for higher knowledge. We purify ourselves through conscious use of the same creative process of what we’re identified with and use as the means of creating our experiences.

We’re always forming an amalgamation with the nature of others as the means of becoming “like them”. The Higher Soul exists in a constant purified state that’s symbolically represented by gold. This is because of the properties gold naturally possesses that allows it to blend with and form a new solid (fixed form) with other metals, that can then be reheated and returned to a liquid state where it separates from the other metals and resumes its natural constitution as “pure gold”. Gold is soft and malleable in its natural state, and only hardens into a rigid and fixed shape when combined with other profane metals. This is the same property the soul possesses in being able to blend with other essences, becoming stabilized and fixed in form as a result, then through active use of the will, separate from the essence it took on and return to its pure unadulterated nature. Gold is also “non-reactive”, and so it never tarnishes or corrodes. In order to maintain the soul in a purified state, we have to neutralize ourselves to the emotional states that govern the material plane and not “react” to them or be altered by them in any way.

Temptation

The true test of “temptation” is when we’re not tempted at all by it because we’re not identified with it and it’s not “in us” as a part of us. We’re only tempted by things and idea we have a desire for, feel a strong connection to, and form a natural reaction to in some way. We’re seduced by the experience it offers that we use in turn to shape ourselves through. When we find something repulsive or disgusting, we’re still using it to shape ourselves through the experience of our reaction to it. Any reaction is a form of corruption because we’re still forming our identity based on the experience the adverse reaction gives us. We shape our identity by contrasting and opposing it, so we’re still identified with it and literally being controlled and determined by the material world. The whole process of spiritual purification and assuming our true identity comes by not being effected by the material world or the nature and behavior of others.

This is forming the recognition of the true nature of things as the spiritual world as the mind and internal nature of things being what “animates and determines” them, and not the other way around. The spiritual world has supremacy over the material world and is what acts to create it and give it life. Once we become identified with our higher nature by “becoming it” in essence, material forms and ideas no longer affect us and don’t cause a reaction of any kind “in us”. We no longer act to “draw in” and become one with them as a joint experience of the same nature, and remain in a neutral state in relationship to them. When purified (mentally, emotionally, and physically) and embodying higher levels of consciousness, we become a vehicle and instrument for higher powers that are neutral and unbiased to the actions and nature of others, where we’re never controlled or determined by them.

The Nature of Compassion

By acquiring a thorough understanding of how this process works through the Law of Vibration and Resonance, we can begin working with it in an intentional manner to self-create while forming compassion for others. We can “blend with” and then “un-blend” with others at will. We can blend with those whose character traits we want to awaken in us, actively express, and become identified with, then dissolve the connection once that has been achieved. We can also learn how to dissolve our bond with those who are of poor character or never form a relationship with them to begin with. By intentionally entering into and becoming one with the nature of another and “experience life as they do”, we can become compassionate and truly see and understand them as they are. Then we can separate ourselves from them and return to our normal state a part from them. When this becomes a conscious process undertaken with full awareness of what we’re doing and why, we don’t become a permanent part of them by beginning to participate in the same reality from the same perspective as a drama of some kind because we relate to them and begin identifying with them. This is what happens when it’s an unconscious process that takes place without our awareness or intention.

True compassion is a demonstration of self-mastery as the conscious application of law. We can only create on any given plane by utilizing the laws governing that plane. We have to enter into the sphere of that plane, becoming of the same nature as it is, and work with the experience it naturally produces while still maintaining full awareness of our self and our intention for doing so and not get lost in the experience of it. It’s easy to get lost in the illusion of the experience because it’s so real it draws us into it through a form of reverie and we lose memory of ourselves as being apart from it and recognition of the truth that’s operating through it. Whenever we get caught up in an experience where we’re truly and intimately involved and participating in it as part of it, we enter into a primarily unconscious state. It requires constant practice and full awareness in order to maintain an awareness of the laws involved that are making the experience possible. Once we can get to the point where we can stay aware of what’s going on through the whole process, we can begin using it as a profound tool for our own spiritual growth and advancement by becoming an instrument for Higher Powers to work in the world through sole identification with our Higher, Universal Self that’s not subject to reality, but is instead the one that’s orchestrating it.

Acquiring Higher Knowledge: Condition, State, and Quality of Consciousness – Drawing Down Energy into our Mental Sphere

We now know that the consciousness associated with the brain that serves to operate it isn’t produced by the physical organ itself, but the brain (all material bodies) merely act as a “receiver” and transducer for consciousness which exists in its potential form in the atmosphere around us, also known as the ether, Astral Plane, Akashic Field, Quantum Plenum, and the Unified Field of intelligence. We actually act to “absorb” thoughts and ideas from the universal mind of the collective unconscious, rather than actually being the one “producing them”, as many believe. We also act to absorb the thought-forms of others in a parallel manner, which also populate the astral plane around us as the instinctual field of the subconscious mind that are of the same nature as we are through a subliminal form of telepathy.

The brain, heart, and body itself only contains and possesses the consciousness it serves as a vehicle for by first absorbing it through various forms of suggestion and intuition that it then develops into a unique version of reality by continuing to think about it while picturing it in the mind’s eye, forming it into an imaginary reality as the basis for a personal creation. What we refer to as the “body’ consciousness” operates out of memory and it’s only creative capacity is by way of using memory as a thematic blueprint or template for creating material forms of the same nature. It lacks originality and individuality and is developed through conditioning as a form of training that establishes the personality as a mental paradigm or mental sphere of consciousness as a vibratory frequency, that it continues creating out of in a natural and repetitive manner.

State of Mind

In order to acquire, absorb, or “call” energetic entities as ideas into our sphere of consciousness, we have to create the conditions in which that consciousness naturally exists. We have to create the conditions as a vibratory state that’s equivalent to it, which is what allows it to be drawn into our mental sphere through resonance and sympathetic induction. If we don’t exist as the same state of mind and level or quality of consciousness, we don’t resonate with it and we can’t become a vehicle or medium for it to manifest within us as our very own thoughts and feelings. This is true not only for the energies as qualities of consciousness (memories) that naturally inhabit the material plane that we experience as emotional states that appeal to us and bring out in us complementary traits and characteristics, but also in regards to higher planes which are predominately archetypal in nature and provide us with distinct patterns for embodying as a way of “becoming” like them.

In the spiritual, invisible, energetic realm of subtle energy, the primary principles that are always operating is the Law of Mentalism, Law of Correspondences, and the Law of Vibration, all of which go hand in hand as extensions of each other and provide the means of manifesting within the material plane through the proper energy and moving energies necessary to manifest as qualities between parallel planes that together form a cohesive and coherent reality. As a soul within a material body, we can only act to acquire or draw in and absorb energy that’s of the same or similar vibration as we are. In order to draw in a select and desired energy as a quality that we don’t already possess in its active state, we have to align ourselves with and create the mental, emotional, and physical conditions that it naturally exists in or that are of the conditions of that dimension, and thereby “resonate with it”.

The energies of the upper and lower planes, commonly referred to as nature spirits, angels, demons, jeni, and so on, which can also be thought of as the Elements and natural forces that have creative potential and are “singular in nature” and perform distinct operations inherent in that quality faithfully without distortion. Humans are composite beings that are multidimensional in nature and possess and actively employ multiple qualities and characteristics of all planes in which it’s a part. We all have the ability to intentionally develop ourselves by choosing what qualities we align ourselves with and actively employ as the means of being able to perform the operations and behaviors that naturally ensue from that quality. Whatever and however we’re “being” as a quality of consciousness or state of mind, determines what we’re doing and how we’re acting. All actions as an expression of consciousness create realities on the material plane.

Archetypes and the Gods of Creation

The energies of a still higher plane, the Akashic field of universal memory, entities exist that are of a complex nature just as we are. These entities are archetypes, which have historically been referred to as the “gods”. An archetype exists as a “whole idea” that involves multiple qualities as a formula or dynamic that has a certain type of personality and character traits, an identity as a specific type of person prone to play a certain type of role and be ideal for acting out a certain type of story as a form of theme. Archetypes from these higher planes form the basis for all human development, and we are not only born into this world as a dynamic formula of multiple archetypes (zodiac birth chart), but we “are” an archetype ourselves. We embody and live out of a dominant archetype as a unique variation formulated by our souls ability to access, select, and draw in (embody) the archetypes of its choice and actively expressing those qualities as the means of creating ourselves by developing those same qualities to various degrees as a natural part of our personality and identity.

The gods of antiquity was a mythology that provided us with a kind of menu as to what was possible and available for practical use based on our nature and desire for “how we want to be”. We all resonate and feel an affinity for certain types of characters and heavily relate to certain types of stories that naturally result from the expression of certain ways of being. The gods of mythology represent archetypes as a way of being that provide us with a model that we can choose with precision and actively employ as a means of intentionally developing ourselves to be of a similar nature. We can only really embody and know how to bring a way of being into expression by imitating what’s being modeled and demonstrated for us. Archetypes are characters that are whole in nature as complex dynamic beings that provide us with a template to practice out of. They possess a certain combination of qualities in varying degrees that make up their character. By stepping into and practicing “being like” an archetype, we activate and bring out those same qualities in ourselves. Naturally by imitating we don’t become just like them, but we create a unique version of the same idea, or incorporate new qualities into our existing character that expand our range of expression.

If we have a desire to be more courageous and less prone to fear, for example, we choose and embody an archetype or god that is the full expression of fearless courage. We can study them, get a feel for their personality, and how they feel, think, and perceive things, what perspective they take, how they hold and conduct themselves, and just through imitating and being like them in body, posture, and behavior, we tap into and access the same consciousness and way of perceiving ourselves. Physiology forms a direct correspondence with state of mind, which corresponds with a distinct way of feeling and thinking. Thought, feeling, emotion, and action or behavior is “always” aligned with each other. So just be employing the same behaviors we adjust our state of mind to match it, creating a new experience of ourselves, and we begin perceiving in new ways. We gain a new sense of ourselves through our behaviors and ways of conducting ourselves that we then become associated and identified with, and through repetitive practice, it becomes a natural way of being. We’re not meant to “worship” the gods of mythology (or religion) as many have been led to believe, but rather use them as tools for self-development.

Becoming One with our Higher Self

In a similar manner we can also connect to our Higher Self, which is what most are actually referring to when they think of God (as a person or entity), which exists on a higher plane and acts to guide and direct us through an internal voice while also orchestrating the events of our life based on karma and what we “ask for” through our thoughts and intention, and is also a constant companion to us. Our Higher Self is also commonly referred to as our Holy Guardian Angel, and is the part of us that remains fully within a higher plane and never manifests (blends with material substance) in the lower plane, and remains unaffected by magnetic forces (emotions) of the lower regions of the Astral Plane. It exists in a natural and unbiased state and doesn’t respond or even necessarily seem to acknowledge our emotional states, passions, and instinctual urges, and guides us instead through pure reasoning and absolute clarity that’s always taking into account the big picture of which we are commonly unaware of.

By forming a connection with our Higher Self, through deep feelings of reverence, trust, and devotion, and committing whole-heartedly and sincerely to our souls development (which is its only concern), and we invite (ask) our Higher Self to come into us and be the consciousness we “look through” as the means of acquiring a more accurate and objective perspective and perception, we act to “pull down” the energy by consciously embodying it. We blend with it and become one in awareness. We can only do this consistently by creating ourselves (body and mind) to be of an equivalent nature to our Higher Self. This means we have to purify ourselves of toxic emotions and the illusions born out of them, and not be subject to emotional states and the emotional projections of others. We have to cleanse ourselves of our emotions, passions for material pleasure, and be able to willfully resist compulsive urges (instinctual behaviors). As long as we exist as the equivalent of the lower, unconscious plane of animal instinct, driven by emotions, reactive behaviors, and passions, we can’t act as the vessel for higher energies, because these things don’t exist on higher planes (only lower planes of an unconscious nature), and so the conditions don’t correspond and aren’t appropriate. The higher mind is willful in nature and isn’t affected or “controlled” by the emotions intended to produce automatic behaviors.

So anytime we’re looking to acquire new qualities and ways of being, we have to recognize the natural conditions as the atmosphere that quality, entity, or archetype naturally exists in, and create the same conditions in our mental sphere through gaining rapport with it. By becoming like it as a state of mind. We have to “become” through an act of awareness, choice, and will, of the same nature. We have to vibrate at a similar rate in order to be able to draw it in or absorb it by resonating with it. Once we absorb it, embody and become one with it, it activates those same qualities within us and we’re able to express through them. Once forces become active within us and we’re able to express ourselves through them by becoming them, we create experiences as them, sense our self through those experiences, associate and identify with our own experiences, absorb them as memory, and through an accumulative process of consistent practice, they become a natural part of us. They become fully integrated into our mental sphere and built into our muscle. We begin employing them automatically as a natural part of our being. Once this is accomplished, we no longer need the entity or archetype, and we can release it back into the sphere from which it came.

       This is an important step many fail to recognize and do intentionally. The only purpose of an entity or quality that performs a certain function in a specific way is to stimulate, awaken, make active, and bring out in us that same quality, characteristic, and behavior or activity. It’s not meant to take up permanent residence within us where it can begin taking on a life of its own as a form of alter-ego. Once the desired result is achieved and obtained as a permanent part of our character, just as we consciously invoked and embody it, we have to thank it sincerely for the service it provided, then instruct it to leave by ushering it out of our body and back into the atmosphere and universe where it can continue to be of service to others.

This rule applies to every aspect except our Higher Self of course, which always exists as a fundamental part of us and our connection with it is eternal and nourishing in nature. It doesn’t offer qualities and archetypal personalities for us to embody and acquire, but rather exists as a neutral state of being that always acts to inform, advise through awareness, and instruct us without ever making decisions for us or imposing its will on us in a way that overrides our own ability to make decisions for ourselves.  All self-creation is our full responsibility and comes by way of what we choose and ask for and what we willfully bring about through our actions.

       The easiest and most basic way to tell the difference between true “guiding forces” of a higher nature (some call spirit guides, angels, teachers, etc.) and those of a lower nature (emotions, passions, urges, impulses, etc.) is that Divine forces NEVER violate choice and free will, tell you what to do, or make decisions for you. They only act to educate, inform through increased awareness, and bring insights and realizations that reveal new choices and possibilities, increasing and expanding your ability to choose. Lower forces can only express by taking control of or commanding your will through emotional states and passions of various sorts that when allowed to take hold, can easily run your thoughts and make decisions for you as impulses, desires, passions, emotional reactions, and physical urges.

All forces, whether celestial or terrestrial, only have the ability to “influence you” and can’t actually make decisions for you. They have no will of their own, which is what’s required in order to step outside of instinct or a singular nature that’s a part of a collective unconscious, and make new decisions that require original thought that produces new behaviors and ways of being. Only humans have this ability within the creative realms. This is our “God given ability to create” that makes us capable of governing all of the natural forces that partake in the material world as a means of being fully responsible for our own creation. We have the ability to utilize these natural forces as the means of creating and creating ourselves by way of our own creations, but we have to not only realize that we do, but also know “how to do it”. Otherwise the creative forces of the material plane use us to create through and we become a product of unconscious instinct that’s determined by our animal nature instead of our higher Divine nature.

Self-Awareness and how we Become Who we are – Realizing the Nature of Relationships and Exercising the Power of Choice to Self-Create

We’re all in the process of “becoming” in life through a constant interaction as an outer stimulus that causes an inner response of a like nature. From the time were born, we’re subject to a constant form of outer stimulation from others, our environment, and the conditions of our life circumstances that begin shaping us as a person. An outer stimulation awakens in us the same type of qualities that we’re being stimulated with, bringing them out in us where we form an interaction based on the shared qualities. As we embody the same type of qualities as the person we’re interacting with, we establish a relationship with them that expresses the shared qualities as a dynamic and we create an “experience” of ourselves by way of that dynamic. As we create an experience of something through our relationship with it, we simultaneously “sense ourselves” within that experience as a certain kind of person playing a certain type of role, and we become identified with our experiences as a result. Through this natural and fundamental process of cause and effect, we are initially developed through an unconscious state of our formative conditioning to be like the people we live in relationship with and the dynamics we play an active part in. We are all subject to the family dynamics we play a role in as the initial means of developing our personality and identity. By the time we’re in our mid to late 20’s, our personality and identity are firmly established and we begin the process of simply living out of and repeating the same patterns, behavioral dynamics, and type of relationships through a natural unconscious state the rest of our lives. This is what’s often referred to as the “first birth”, which sets the basis for transformation as being “reborn” through our “second birth” which is undertaken with full awareness of what’s happening and why. It’s by becoming aware of the natural process of self-development that we can begin working with it consciously to create ourselves in a deliberate and intentional way. We’re all born into this world with a Higher Conscious, subconscious and self-conscious mind and the capacity to become self-determined by exercising our ability to self-realize, discriminate, reason, and choose how we’re going to respond, and then willfully act out that decision while resisting habitual tendencies that come naturally to us as automatic responses. This powerful ability to self-create starts with awareness of the laws operating in an situation as the means of creating, becoming aware of what’s happening inside of you at any given moment based on how you’re being stimulated, and the type of person you become through your immediate and natural reactions as a result. All of life results from a dynamic series of relationships and how they all work together in a synchronistic and accumulative fashion to create a stable and consistent idea.

       The most fundamental laws that are always operating between the inner and outer world, between the masculine and feminine energies, and between us and others, are the Law of Cause and Effect and the Law of Vibration. The Law of Cause and Effect demonstrates that all actions produce and equal or greater reaction of the same nature. This is very easy to realize through self-observation by noticing that whatever emotion is being outwardly expressed by another acts to stimulate you with that same emotion. It serves to alter your “state” to match theirs and brings out in you the same emotional qualities where you become the “same as” or “just like” the person stimulating you. You then form an immediate reaction by either becoming congruent with them or by taking on the complementary aspect of the same idea and opposing them. Anger for example, when being actively projected towards you will cause you to either become just as angry and aggressive or more, or it’ll cause you to feel scared, and back down or feel overwhelmed. If you become just as angry, it escalates and intensifies, if you back down and become subordinate, it diffuses and neutralizes it. Whatever your reaction you become “that type of person” through the experience of yourself it creates. Whatever the nature of the energy being openly expressed by another within near proximity of you, acts to enter into and transform you to that same state. Likewise, if we’re the one who is actively expressing an emotion we serve to transform everyone around us who’s in a different state to that same emotion. The active component in one always acts to awaken and seed its passive, latent component in another bringing it into an active state. The Law of Vibration works in precisely the same way through sympathetic resonance, where one vibration as an emotional mental state, vibrates that same state in another through sympathetic induction where it’s literally projected outward by one person towards another person as a form of energetic transmission, where it literally enters into their body, vibrating that same state in them, amplifying and multiplying it, where they then form coherence and begin vibrating in harmony with each other as a “shared state”. Once the shared state is achieved they co-create a congruent experience together as a joint reality. The Law of Vibration always works through the complementary Law of Correspondences and Analogies where “like always begets more of what’s like itself” as a form of propagation.

       In this very sense of what operates as an energetic interaction, we are constantly being influenced by everyone around us to be like them. To take on the same emotional state, attitude, type of thoughts, and behaviors as they openly demonstrate and outwardly express through their very being. We also act on others in exactly the same way to influence them to be more like us. Vibration as a certain type and kind of energy always acts to generate more of what’s of the same nature as it is, just as we’re only capable of creating as an expression of our mental state as a form of offspring. All of life and our self is the result of how we enter into relationship with everyone and everything else. In every moment we’re being stimulated somehow, and either unconsciously reacting or consciously deciding who and how we’re going to become in relationship with it. This takes place unconsciously or without our direct awareness of what’s happening as a natural reaction, or consciously through self-awareness as a clear and calculated decision that’s not based on how we’re being stimulated, but rather on our ability to resist it, not let it enter into us and affect us, and from an independent response based on who we decide to be instead. The first step of transformation becomes the awareness of what’s actually happening, and the second step as the ability to prevent the emotional stimulus from entering into our being and body, and neutralizing it instead. We can keep other people’s emotions and projections from affecting us through the simple awareness of them and by resisting the tendency to react in a like manner. By controlling our own reaction, we counteract, neutralize, and deflect their energy. We bring it into a balanced state rather than an unbalanced state by serving to amplify and increase it.  Once we acquire the ability to prevent other people’s energy from entering into and affecting us, we exist in a form of inner calm where we realize that we actually have a choice as to how we’re going to respond or if we’re going to respond. In some cases we may choose to simply withdraw all of our life-giving energy that only acts to empower it and simply ignore it. Whatever we react to we give life in us and through us, and whatever we ignore and withdraw our attention from, dies to us. We don’t let it become a part of us and determine us as a result. In this spacious moment of inner calm produced by deflection and no reaction, we can ask ourselves . . . who do I want to be right now? What kind of person do I choose to be in relationship to this person or event? Am I going to allow this person to control me and determine who I am as a result? Do I like how this person is being and do I want to become like them? We can self-reflect in the moment and make a conscious decision as to how we’re going to respond in a thoughtful and intentional manner. And through our controlled and deliberate response based on a calculated decision, we can become self-determined and the master of our own fate.

       Whenever we maintain a calm and undisturbed state in the presence of active emotional expression, we act to neutralize it, and ultimately calm them down by influencing them to match our state. In every interaction as a transmission and reception of energy there’s always a dominant (active and projective) and subordinate (passive and receptive) aspect. Anytime we allow another person’s energy to enter into us and produce an effect, we are the passive receptor in the equation. One person is always the one producing an equal effect in the other, especially when both people are unconscious as to what’s really going on and acting “naturally” by reacting in a like manner to whatever they’re being stimulated with. Whenever we act to “give somebody back their own medicine” or what “they deserve”, we’re actually allowing them to control us and we have to become “just like them” in order to do it. This means that they act “on us” to transform us to be the same type of person as they are. Whoever is fully conscious and self-aware in the situation and not actively taking on the other persons energy, exercises the ability to dominate and manage the state of the other by bringing their emotions into a neutral state and then intentionally employing emotions as the means of expressing that influences them to match your emotions. The most fundamental form of self-mastery and conscious creation comes by neutralizing yourself to other people’s emotions and attitudes while simultaneously learning how to employ and direct them to create your experiences, or joint experiences, in a deliberate way by skillfully managing the state of others and eliciting a state of cooperation and participation. The only true power in the ultimate sense is being able to control and utilize your own will and the will of others to participate in creating the same type of reality. This same creative process as the operation of fundamental laws is also how we create ourselves in an intentional manner by associating with people who openly display the qualities and attitudes we want to acquire and develop in ourselves. By only being willing to enter into and maintain relationships with those we admire, respect, adore, honor, and revere, then allowing them to naturally influence us by bringing out those same qualities in us in a natural and unguarded way.  We work by way of natural laws by consciously choosing relationships with others who serve to stimulate positive emotions that bring out the best in us and the parts of ourselves we want to actively develop. Allow yourself to always notice what “part of yourself” shows up in your different relationships and “who you become” in that relationship as a result. Then simply ask yourself . . . “do I like who I become”? Is this how a want to be? Cultivate and nurture only those relationships that bring out the best in you, where you really like who you are because of them. The Subconscious Mind as the Vehicle for the Soul and the Secret to the Manifestation of Cosmic Will

The aspect of the mind known as the subconscious mind is also what we can think of as our “body consciousness” and is symbolized in Esoteric Sciences by the Moon which acts as a “ship of the sky” that serves as the means for transportation and communication. The subconscious mind is of the astral plane and is “magnetic” in nature, which means it acts as a passive receiver for electric, willful transmission of information as archetypes; just as the moon has no light of its own, and merely acts to reflect the light of the sun, becoming a source of light in the dark. Light itself is clear and dark until it’s absorbed and reflects off of dust particles or matter of some form, which produces the illumination that we call light where we can see material forms based on their ability to simultaneously absorb and act as a mirror for light (forming holograms). The subconscious acts in much the same way and doesn’t generate or produce visual images and thoughts of its own, but merely acts to absorb and reflect them in the faculty of the imagination as a form of memory or as an idea that comes to it in complete form as a “field of information” with a ready-made pattern and set of instructions for producing a similar pattern as both an inner and outer reality of the same nature.

The subconscious mind is a dual aspect of the higher, human soul and is what forms the personality out of memories that are carried from one incarnation to another. Because it’s passive and receptive in nature, and takes in consciousness and information from everything around it without the ability to judge or discriminate (it doesn’t select or choose), it assimilates and is modified by whatever it comes into contact and communication with as an exchange of information being transmitted between two things. The subconscious is considered the feminine principle and “uniting intelligence” that’s connected to all other subconscious minds and personalities throughout the natural world, regardless of distance, as a natural form of telepathy we think of as “instinct”. It’s the agency of telepathy that exists not only between all living beings of the material plane, but also between higher and lower planes as “intuition”. It acts as a blind receiver of the masculine aspect of “will” as thought and ideas which are reflected in the imagination of the subconscious which acts like a womb that grows and develops the idea into a possible reality by how it applies and adapts it to the immediate environment and incorporates it into a field of information as memory, allowing it to connect to that same idea in everything else, forming a perception of it, and automatically producing the behaviors and activities that produce it in material form as an experience.

The subconscious carries the self-conscious mind within it in its potential state as a form of gestation, and births the self-conscious aspect of the same mind at puberty, symbolized esoterically by the Madonna (Mother) and Male child, which is the stage of development when we first begin to be able to think for ourselves and make our own decisions about what to do and who we become. Birth of the self-conscious mind marks the stage where we consciously begin creating ourselves as an individual. This is the aspect of the mind associated with “brain consciousness and thinking as internal dialogue”, that’s born exclusively within the body and forms our ego as the full identification with or as our body. This is the aspect of the mind that discriminates and makes decisions and gives us the ability to take over our own creation by using our thoughts to direct and inform our subconscious mind. All thoughts act as a form of suggestion that seed the subconscious with ideas for turning into experiences through our outer reality. The self-conscious mind is primarily based on outer awareness of the material world and forms our identity by how it senses itself in relationship with it. It first acts to give the inner, subconscious mind the suggestion for what to create outwardly, then witnesses its own creation in the outer world and fashions itself by identifying with the experience it brings.

        The subconscious is under the control of the self-conscious will as directed thought (of self or others) and is obedient and subject to being directed and commanded by the active, masculine aspect of the mind. The subconscious is the aspect of the mind we share with the animal kingdom and all of Nature, and is the agency through which we are both controlled and led in an obedient and mindless way by others, and are able to control and direct ourselves as the primary form of self-creation. The subconscious is subordinate to the Higher-Self and self-conscious and directly controlled and in-formed by suggestions that originate as the mental activities of both the Higher-Self the self-conscious aspects of the mind. It will take in the suggestions from any source outside the self as well and manifest the reality inherent in those suggestions. It acts as the receptive and regenerative aspect of the Life Power. The self-conscious mind, which also has the ability to analyze, evaluate, and discriminate, serves as the “gate keeper” to the subconscious and can actively decide what to let in and take hold, and what to reject and keep out as the means of “protecting” itself and only allowing or intentionally providing what it wants to become a part of its reality.

The subconscious as the feminine principle is the “root substance” as the invisible matrix and substratum beneath all objective planes of existence that acts to organize and compose and animate all material reality. It’s the connective medium between us and everything else. It’s the medium of instinct and intuition that operates within the Astral Plane of the Elements as a unified field of coherent information, and is also the means by which the Higher Mind controls the Elements as the means of creating, orchestrating, and animating material reality. Just as the subconscious is the telepathic and regenerative medium for the self-conscious will and the will of others, it’s also the medium through which the Higher-Will communicates and provides direction and instruction as a form of what we call “guidance” as well as objectively administering karma (past memory formed out of our deeds) as universal justice, providing us with the experiences on the receiving end of past deeds allowing us to realize and make new choices, and rectify and correct them by responding in a new way.

Communication comes to us from our Higher-Self or Soul through intuition, sudden insights, as thoughts reflected in our imagination, day dreams, and night time dreams, because the active will needs a passive receiver to “conceive of ideas” and move them from a purely latent potential state to and active state. These ideas, once conceived by the subconscious are reflected in our mind’s eye, allowing the self-conscious to witness them and they become a natural part of our outer experience through a form of synchronicity and free flowing chain of association that’s reorganized intuitively. Ideas of a higher nature come as archetypes which are universal and metaphorical in nature, and simply provide a symbolic prototype as a form of thematic template for producing as a personal creation. Once conceived by the subconscious and reflected in the mind for the self-conscious to see as a mental impression or internal voice, it evaluates it and decides whether it wants to use it to create. If the self-conscious likes it, it chooses to continue thinking about it, and as it thinks about it, it adapts and customizes it into a new variation that can be easily created as part of its outer reality. Once developed into a new variation by concentrating on it and defining it, it becomes a form of virtual memory as a seed or pattern for reproducing by the subconscious mind.

       Though the subconscious mind is the creative mind of the material plane, it only creates based on memory, which it simply repeats as a metaphor or theme and duplicates, transcribes, and copies in a repetitive fashion over and over until it’s given a new memory as a pattern for creating. It creates reality as an experience out of whatever suggestion it’s given by first imagining it, then connecting to the elements of the same nature all around it, producing the means for experiencing it. It creates lies and illusions in exactly the same fashion as it creates truth because it doesn’t know the difference. It relies on the self-conscious mind to filter the suggestions through reasoning, discrimination, and discernment. It doesn’t have the ability to perceive errors or formulate the necessary action to correct itself of errors in perceiving (sin). It simply takes in the mistaken results of faulty, superficial self-conscious observations and repeats and elaborates on them. While it lacks the ability to critically analyze suggestion, it’s also the channel for telepathic communication and acts to receive and metabolize suggestions from any active source when left unguarded by its own self-conscious aspect.

The subconscious mind only creates reality out of memory and forms habitual patterns and tendencies that are rooted in resistance to change and inertia, and only acts to maintain the status quo and repeat the same ideas of the past in the present. It operates out of the tendencies established in our formative conditioning, and simply repeats the same type of experiences over and over in different situations and circumstances. It operates naturally to resist the suggestions of change given to it by the self-conscious mind as its opposing, yet complementary opposite. It operates to create through the association of ideas and memories of a similar nature. If the suggestion given is in to sharp a contrast with its ecology of interwoven memories, it doesn’t know how to adapt it properly and can’t intuitively connect to it in everything else. For this reason, suggestion needs to be given as a gradual process undertaken in stages as a form of intuitive growth and development. Each aspect of the same mind is of itself non-functional in terms of creating, and they only become functional when operating in a unified manner as a whole.

The subconscious and self-conscious minds tend to speak different languages, which makes communication between them even more difficult. While the self-conscious mind is non-emotional, logical, time-oriented, and abstract in nature, the subconscious is emotional, intuitive, metaphorical, always present, and experiential in nature. In order for the self-conscious to give a proper, easily translated suggestion to the subconscious, it must be delivered in much the same way as a memory is formed as a sensory experience that’s emotional in nature and forms meaning as the basis for the reality created from it. Whatever we want the subconscious to produce, we have to imagine it as if we’re experiencing it, endow it with sensory intensity in terms of defining it through what we’re seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, smelling, and what we’re telling ourselves about it that gives it meaning and forms the basis for the story we tell ourselves as the means of “experiencing it”. By making it intense in sensory terms we form a strong emotional response to it, and the emotions associated and related to it become what drives all our automatic behaviors and serves to produce it.

       The subconscious is intuitive which means it sees any idea as a metaphor or analogy that’s a form of theme or generalized idea, much like an archetype, and connects to whatever is of a similar nature in everything around it and produces a similar type of experience using whatever elements are available to it in the immediate environment. So the experience created won’t be exactly as we imagined it, but it’ll hold true to the same type of idea as a form of theme. This is why we often don’t recognize our own creations, is because they’re formed as analogies and correspondences to the ideas we formed in a specific way by how we imagined them. So all suggestion, in order to be effective needs to be created and planted in the subconscious as a form of virtual memory of an actual (imagined) experience. We recognize the fruition of our suggestion intuitively as a similar type of experience that holds true to the same type of idea as a kind of theme, though the elements used to orchestrate it may be of a very different nature than we imagined.

The subconscious also houses all memory of the soul that is latent and undeveloped powers in their virgin state that haven’t been stimulated into activity. Only a portion of our soul’s memory is activated and brought into expression as our development through our initial conditioning, while the larger portion of it usually remains dormant and underutilized. In this sense the subconscious is only “potentially reproductive” and has to be given a seed of an idea as a pattern or dynamic, which serves to activate the latent powers of our inner nature that are of a similar nature in response to it. This works in much the same way the male provides the seed as one strand of DNA or group of information as potential qualities and characteristics and the female then matches it with another strand as a form of natural selection of complimentary qualities that together form a new whole of a unique, yet similar nature. The outer acts to stimulate the complementary aspects inwardly, bringing them out in an active state where they’re developed through expression as an interactive dynamic of some sort.

Memory is produced as accumulated experience through the dynamic marriage of the subconscious and self-conscious mind as “that which was, that which is, and that which will be” as a continuation or evolutionary flow produced by whatever we couple and combine with. This interaction between the masculine and feminine, between the self-conscious and subconscious produces a “stream of consciousness” as automatic internal dialogue and habitual thoughts replaying memories over and over. While the self-conscious has the ability to seed and impregnate the subconscious with new ideas for creating, what usually ends up happening is the subconscious drives thoughts in a repetitive manner by replaying memories over and over in our mind in a habitual manner.

       It’s easy to realize through self-observation of our own thoughts that we tend to think the same type of thoughts over and over, and what we’re thinking about today is the same things we thought about yesterday, last week, and last month. Through memory that’s replayed repeatedly through internal dialogue, we’re actually using the creative power of our self-conscious mind to program and direct our subconscious mind with the same ideas of the past as memories and simply create more and more of the same type of experiences, usually without ever realizing that’s what we’re doing and why. In order to embrace and begin utilizing our true ability to create, we have to learn how to still our constant random thoughts and prevent the emotional states they create and keep us locked into, and learn how to be fully present instead and think in terms of what we do want to create, and begin artistically designing the suggestions as imagined experiences that will provide new direction for our subconscious to begin creating.

In the symbolic idea of the “Book of Life”, which is the Astral or Akashic Field of the imagination, all experiences as deeds and actions, whether actually performed or just thought about intensely are “recorded” or impressed upon the soul and subconscious as its constitution, which is comprised of memory. The subconscious incarnates into a material body with the soul memory of all past events, of the race, the planet, and of humanity, all of which share the same subconscious mind, much like smaller fields that are nested within and interwoven with greater fields. The cosmic subconscious record of the entire planet are contained in what we call the “collective unconscious” of Nature and humanity, and acts as a natural form of instinct and intuition as interwoven memories that are an integral part of the same overall reality as a larger ongoing story and interactive dynamic.

The soul uses universal memory as archetypes for self-expression that provides the means for producing personal memory that becomes a permanent part of our soul’s psychological make-up. We create memory as the personal expression of universal archetypes that shapes us as an archetype ourselves. As humans with creative ability, we use various combinations of qualities and characteristics to shape ourselves as a unique, composite nature. The gods create man “in their image and with their likeness” as archetypal forces and powers that we “draw into ourselves” and use as the means of self-creating by becoming “like them” in personality, identity, and behaviors. We acquire the same qualities and characteristics of whatever we “become one with” in mind and body. All of humanity draws off of the same field of archetypal powers as the means of self-creating. So in this sense we’re all of the same universal mind and nature, just in different combinations and potencies.

       The subconscious works through intuition as a dynamic system of correspondences and is how things are connected and interrelated as a higher-form of instinct that’s always in-tune to the inner nature of things and how they relate to the outer nature of the whole. We perceive things intuitively through their natural connection and relationship to each other and as a congruent part of a larger reality or dynamic pattern. Intuitively we can perceive and recognize the same principle or idea playing out through various material forms and ecological systems as unique expressions and variations of the same nature and idea. The instinctual-intuitive mind exists as an inherent part of its environment, and is always present within that environment, unlike the self-conscious mind which exists “in time” and is usually thinking about the past or future and hardly ever present in the moment.

The two minds work together to create reality as both an inner and outer experience as a flow of concentration that’s immediate and “becomes one” with whatever idea it’s concentrating on and forming an internal representation of. Any idea that we concentrate on for an extended period of time literally becomes a part of us as a natural “thought process” or conceptual reality. As we “take in” and absorb an idea, allowing it to take hold and form into a detailed reality by thinking about it, is integrated into our mental paradigm and becomes a part of our perceptual lens and filtering system that we look through as a means of seeing the same idea as an inherent part of our outer environment. Once we form it into an internal representation of a possible reality, making it real and therefore believable, it acts just like an actual life event and memory and becomes a part of us and our ability to perceive and experience that same idea as it’s playing out all around us.

The inner and the outer, the feminine and the masculine, are dynamic aspects of the same thing, and one can’t be fully understood without the other. They act together to produce a “functioning third” aspect as their offspring. Just as the right and left hemispheres of the brain form a corresponding operation to produce a cohesive reality with contrasting aspects. The masculine is the concrete and analytical aspect, and the feminine the fluid and experiential aspect that together produce a corresponding inner and outer reality that’s used to create the memory that becomes a part of the soul’s constitution as a fundamental form of self-creation.

       What we refer to as a “genius”, use this method of single minded focus as entering into the “flow of consciousness” as deep states of concentration on an idea that allows access to the whole idea as a greater reality or corresponding idea, where intuitive insights spontaneously form. By tuning into an idea, we calibrate our mental field to the vibration of the idea as a kind of metaphor that begins resonating with that same idea as a vibration in everything else, forming sympathy with it. Through resonance, we “enter into” and become a part of that idea as a greater whole and can perceive its inner nature which appears to unfold within us, just as a memory does, revealing itself to us in its fullness. Through this process as entering into a stream of consciousness as a kind of magnetic current, we acquire knowledge intuitively as coming from an inner source as a passive vision that we simply “observe” with the self-aware mind by witnessing it. Whatever idea we “become one with” in mind and spirit, we synthesize and metabolize as a permanent part of our normal thought-processes.

The same laws of the human mind and soul are also operating in a complementary fashion on higher levels of which we’re an emanation, projection, or offspring of. Just as memory exists fluently on the material plane of instinct, it exists on the cosmic planes as archetypes, and we access both through the same method of intuition that concentrates by directing our full attention into an idea and in doing so accesses all information associated with it. We act as the vehicle for life as organized form and are able, by knowing how to use our mind to create, to evolve to higher states of organized form as a more complex and dynamic form of consciousness.

We impose limitation on an idea by confining it to a physical form located in time and space, because it’s necessary in order to self-express and create ourselves by way of being the vehicle for that idea. While involvement in a form is only temporarily binding and restricting for the Life-Force Power, being permanently incarcerated in form is extinction of the human soul and spirit. We’re always both growing and evolving ourselves to higher forms of consciousness by using our divine nature (higher mind) to self-create in an intentional manner, or degrading and devolving ourselves by creating out of the memories of our subconscious, emotional and animal-like nature.

Form disciplines force with a merciless severity (represented by the sphere of Mercy and Severity on the Tree of Life) by binding a free-moving force into a fixed idea, which represents death to the force. Incarnation of the soul and spirit into a body sets death into motion as the inevitable conclusion. Life in the body is death to the soul that gives it life, and death of the body is the birth of the soul that returns it to its natural state of liberation. The Higher-Soul acts within the etheric body of the lower soul to self-create through a constant state of evolving and “becoming” through self-perpetuated changes. The “self” shouldn’t be translated as “I am”, but rather as “I am becoming”, because it’s in a constant state of change as a continuous growth process through a basic state of self-expression. The soul becomes organized in form then constantly undergoes the process or re-organizing itself into new patterns by absorbing and taking on archetypal ideas that develop it by acquiring new qualities and characteristics. The soul and body are always transforming through constant life and death processes of regeneration. This process is carried out simultaneously on multiple planes and scales of existence.

Archetypes as Laws and Principles that Provide Tools for Personal Transformation

In order to gain an understanding of how archetypes work in our psychological make-up, we have to start by defining what an archetype is. An archetype is what’s used in the most primary sense to illustrate or represent natural principles and laws. An archetype represents a kind of prototype, universal template, or ideal that we use for creating in every aspect of our life. As multidimensional, multifaceted beings, our personality and psychological make-up is comprised of universal archetypes that we share with all of humanity, represented by the zodiac and the ancient gods of Mythology. An archetype as a principle is represented as an “idea” or “being” that has certain types of attributes, qualities and characteristics, that form its basic personality giving it a natural disposition, temperament, perspective and “type” or kind of behaviors that naturally lend themselves to telling a certain type of story as it’s “identity”. Our basic psychological make-up as our personality is formed by the twelve universal (everyone has them) archetypes of the zodiac as personality traits in varying degrees and aspects that are composed into a “formula” as our primary “state of consciousness”.  As we go out into the world and begin participating in co-creating reality, this state of consciousness as our personality acts to predetermine and form our “identity” as the roles we naturally cast ourselves in or take on, and the type of story we tell by how we express our character traits and live our life. In order to change the character traits that make up our personality and identity, we have to work by way of these same principles as archetypes by reformulating them. The ultimate form of transformation as self-development, doesn’t come by changing individual or select behaviors, habits, or tendencies, though it can be in the ordinary sense, but rather by working with attributes and qualities that form new characteristics. By evolving characteristics that form our personality and have natural behaviors inherent in them as a “way of being”, we naturally produce new experiences that give us a new and different “sense of ourselves”, that simultaneously produces a new kind of reality as the story we naturally begin telling through our newly acquired perceptions and behaviors. “Being” always produces “doing”, and doing always results in physical manifestation. To work through principles says that the way to change how something or someone functions and performs, and the reality they create through the story they naturally tell as a result, is to work with their character and nature to alter, modify and reformulate its inherent properties and elements. By adjusting and modifying the qualities one expresses through, we change the entire operation. So instead of trying to change one aspect within a whole, natural operation, often without ever identifying what attribute is ultimately causing it, you work instead to adjust the inner nature as their character, and let the changes that ensue from it naturally take place. Then evaluate them to determine if or what other attributes need to be adjusted, until it naturally acts to produce the change you want. All change ultimately comes in a natural and permanent manner by changing the character of the person forming the behaviors that you desire to change. All other methods may solve a specific application or instance, but the behavior and tendency itself will continue to play out in others ways. What’s referred to in Alchemy as the “chemical marriage”, comes through coupling, combining, and assimilation of its equal and complementary opposite. Transformation takes place by mingling, blending, and combining contradictory opposites to form a new whole. By returning what is fixed and dead to a fluid and growing state. When we assume habitual qualities that make up our character and nature, and fail to grow in the essential sense of our inner self, we become as dead matter, measured only by quantity and proportion. We stagnate and begin living a life of routine and dogma, performing the same rituals day after day in an automatic way, and begin living out of the same mindset telling ourselves the same story day in and day out. When we stop growing, learning, and becoming something new and different in each moment, we begin the process of withering and dying. All behaviors and habits are merely the expression of established and well-practiced qualities that make up our character. So the way to change a habit, specific behavior, or tendency, isn’t to work directly with it in the practical sense of breaking a pattern to form a new one, but rather by identifying what part of your nature is producing that behavior as a natural expression and working through the law of sympathy and antipathy to modify it. It’s only by changing our inner nature somehow that we change our outer expression which is what produces our experience of reality.

        Qualities exist as attributes that are polar in nature as complementary opposites that form extremes of each other, with a gradient scale between them as degrees. We seldom ever fall exclusively on one side or the other, but rather somewhere in between, and express in favor of one extreme or the other under different circumstances. Many behavioral tendencies come more as a dynamic and interactive combination of qualities that must be worked with as groups or complementary clusters rather than as singular in nature, although often what is spurned as a quality actually results from a “core or parent” quality, which, when transformed, changes all offspring produced by it systematically. For example, jealousy and envy, whose opposite is admiration and trust, may be the offspring of self-doubt, lack of confidence, and low self-worth, and until this is addressed and transformed, the jealousy won’t go away. At best it’ll be repressed and subdued or corrected (seemingly) in one situation, while still existing as a tendency and natural perception in any other situation that warrants it, because what’s “causing it” hasn’t been changed. Once self-worth has been transformed into a healthy state of confidence, self-love and admiration, the tendency towards jealousy in all areas dissipates and is no longer apart of personal awareness and feelings. In other words, the person no longer feels that way in situations that used to warrant a deep feeling of jealousy and envy. To breed confidence in place of being timid and feeling unsure of yourself requires working with believing in yourself, trusting yourself, and honoring your uniqueness. Just trying to correct the behavior itself by telling them (or yourself) to not be timid or afraid, or by making them feel bad somehow for being that way, not only doesn’t transform it, but can in fact compound and exaggerate it, making it even worse. Qualities as our inner nature and personality form an interactive model as a cluster of qualities that have been developed through an active and expressive state to produce our experiences. We form beliefs about and around ourselves and others through the active expression of innate qualities being brought out in us through the dynamics, conditions, and life situations we grew up in, that served to establish our initial personality as traits and characteristics we naturally possess and outwardly express in a fluent manner as adults.

       All of these active, well-developed qualities have their complementary opposites, which also exist within us in a latent state, and can be used in a strategic manner to transform them. We simply have to realize it, form a desire and intention to perfect ourselves, and use our will creatively to transform our character into new habits. We “become” whatever we form a habit of. By intentionally working to develop ourselves by embodying and acting out counteractive qualities, and practicing “being that way”, we transform and evolve our perceptions, how we “sense ourselves”, and how we feel about ourselves. For example, just by changing our posture from a slumped one to an erect one, back straight, head held up high, making eye contact, all characteristics of “confident behavior”, we actually feel more confident. As we feel more confident, we create an experience of ourselves as “being” confident, and we start acting that way more and more, until it becomes a natural part of who we are in the most ordinary sense. All qualities have a state-of-mind and physiological characteristics associated with them. By becoming an actor in our own life, so to speak, we can imagine the state-of-mind out of which confidence would be the result, and by employing the behaviors and postures that communicate and outwardly demonstrate confidence, and “become” confident. We can actively choose to embody that state and quality of being, and act it out as a means of expressing ourselves in some situation, as the basis for creating an experience of ourselves in that manner. If we feel we don’t know how to be, feel, and act confident, we can find someone that we consider confident and self-assured, study them to see what they’re attitude, frame of mind, physiology (the way they hold themselves, gestures, facial expressions, voice tone and quality, etc.), and how they act, then we can model them by “pretending” to be the same way. Just like when we were kids and we developed ourselves by pretending to be just like our favorite characters. This whole process of self-development is natural to us as children when we’re in a primary state of creating ourselves using our imagination, but we tend to lose this ability as we become adults. As adults, we’ve established patterns and instead of taking an attitude of “creating new memories”, we begin simply living out of the memories already created in a repetitive fashion, feeling and being the same way over and over, creating the same type of experiences in the present as in the past, and we stop growing as a result. While the subconscious mind, which forms our personality, is habitual in nature, working to create and behave in an automatic fashion based on memory as habits, it’s also passive and receptive in nature, lacking a will of its own, and can be directed by the conscious mind to employ new qualities, behave in new ways as the expression of those qualities, and form new memories that will become new habits as a natural way of being. We don’t always need to go through years of therapy in an attempt to try and resolve or understand our story about things and what happened to us, and why we became the way we are. Sometimes all we have to do is realize as adults we still have the ability to create ourselves in any way we want to by simply detaching from the past and our story about it, deciding what aspects of ourselves we want to grow and transform into something better and greater, set the intention to do so, then begin the work of practicing in a disciplined manner to become it.

       We can bring what’s in a fixed and established state back into a fluid and growing state. We can realize who we’ve become up to this point, and who we want to be instead, or in moving forward to continue the process of actively developing ourselves. We see ourselves and our life as a “work in progress” of continuous and never-ending growth. Not as “being” a certain way, but rather in a continuous state of “becoming”. We can decide what story we want to tell by how we live our life, and what “kind” of person we have to become in order to do that. We can move outside of the mindset that says we’re always determined by other people, by how they act and treat us, or by what situations we found ourselves in or acted unknowingly to create, and begin taking an attitude instead of being responsible for our own development and who we become by way of our own willful decisions and disciplined actions. We can disconnect from all the memories and illusions of the past, be present in the moment, and become aware of ourselves in terms of how and who we’re being, and “in that awareness”, actively choose how we’re going to be, regardless of others and what’s happening around us. We can detach from our emotional connection to others that keep us constantly affected by and responding to them, reside apart from them as our own person, and choose how we’re going to interact accordingly. We’re only affected by people because as children in our “formative years”, only our subconscious was fully developed and dominantly active and we were constantly taking in the suggestions and attitudes of others and using them to shape ourselves in relation with them. This tendency becomes established as a way of self-development, so that even when the self-conscious aspect of the mind develops to the point of being active and dominate as our awareness, which has the ability to judge and decide what to let in or keep out, we continue acting to develop in an unconscious manner. Once we develop a conscious mind, which separates us from our parents and others and gives us the ability to think for ourselves, discriminate and reason, and act based on choice and will to give suggestions to our own subconscious mind as a way of self-development instead of other-development, we acquire the ability to become self-determined. The problem is, by the time we’ve become adults it’s become a habit as an automatic process of stimulus – response, action – reaction, and we don’t realize that we now have a will and can act independent of others in determining our own psychological makeup. We can finally realize that who others are, how they’re being towards us, and what they think of us has nothing to do with us, unless we let it by engaging through a reactive, like-response. As soon as we realize this, break the unconscious emotional connection, and see ourselves as a part from others, where their behavior and attitude no longer produces a reaction in us, we step into our true power to decide in every moment who and how we’re going to be, then act it out producing an experience of ourselves as being that way.

Summary: All transformation comes as an “inside job”. It comes through transforming the qualities that make up our character that naturally produce all of our perceptions and behaviors as a natural way of being that serve to tell a story of some kind. We don’t transform by addressing specific behaviors, but rather by working with the personality traits and character that act to naturally produce them as a tendency. By changing our “core” or kernel, we change how it expresses outwardly and what it acts to create through behaviors and deeds of some sort. Archetypes are tools for transformation because they provide us with a dynamic system of what qualities and personality traits produce what type of behaviors that naturally perform a stylized operation as a thematic story-line. All qualities exist in polarity, with a wide range of degrees and variances in between, and can be modified by employing their opposite and contradictory aspect. All vibration as a pattern is altered by coupling with a similar, yet variable pattern of the same nature, where different degrees of the same quality are being expressed, that allows it to acquire and take on new attributes. We train and condition ourselves to new ways of being by modeling the qualities necessary until they become a natural part of us. Whatever we pretend to be, we become. Pretending and playacting is the key to personal transformation and developing your character in a natural and deliberate way. Dr. Linda Gadbois
