The Creative Power of the Imagination – Free Choice, Will, and the Nature of Memory

“The way to alter an outcome is to alter the pattern (memory) producing the outcome”

       In order to create by way of laws in a fully aware manner, we have to create a working concept of how the laws operate within the material realm that allows us to understand and apply them in the practical sense. Once we’re able to see something with absolute clarity, we can use it to create in our daily life and it forms the very basis of our perception of reality. In order to understand how our own mind works to create our experience of reality, we have to be able to self-reflect and observe natural processes and tendencies that operate from a primarily unconscious state.

Anything that we call “natural” comes as automatic processes and behaviors that don’t require us to intentionally produce them by thinking about them or using our will as a form of discipline to create. We’re always using our mind to create our reality, but because we do it without any direct awareness of what we’re doing or the realization that our experience of reality is something we create for ourselves, we create our life in a way where we experience it as simply happening “to us”. This is one of the most primary forms of ignorance that we’re all conditioned to believe, and as a result, we can spend the better part of our life feeling helpless to change the course of events and the nature of how we use those events to create our experiences.

What we call our mind is a natural aspect of our soul, and like the soul, is threefold in nature, meaning it’s comprised of three basic aspects that all play different parts in creating what appears as a single unified reality. The idea of what we have come to call “reality” is a bit elusive and misleading, because it’s formed out of our “perception” of it. Perception “is” reality in terms of how we experience it. While we tend to form an idea that matter exists in a stagnate and solid form as something specific and that everyone experiences reality in the same way (mass consciousness), the fact is matter in its primary state is actually comprised of particles of light that exist in a “potential state” until organized into a “form” by the mind observing it.

        All created material form exists as an organized field of information that produces the form as what we can call a universal archetype. The consciousness of the individual observing material form enters into “relationship” with the field of information and through an interaction of attention and resonance, the individual consciousness as a mental model or vibratory frequency, reorganizes the information to match the holographic pattern of the model being used for structuring it (information) into a specific “type” of reality as the “experience of it”. Individual consciousness doesn’t produce an entirely new material form, but merely modifies how the existing one “appears” to them. The mind is always taking a universal archetype as an idea and producing a personal version of the same idea as a unique possibility and variation. Consciousness influences and determines how matter is organized into a material matrix that forms what we can call the “illusion of reality” as a fixed idea or subjective reality.

While many of us have been taught that atoms exist as fixed systems that’s comprised of electron, neutrons, and protons, the fact is an atom exists as a “cloud-like substance” (wave-form) of pure potential, meaning it contains the information as possibilities for being stabilized into an infinite number of possibilities, and only becomes organized into one possibility based on how it enters into relationship with the mind observing it and acting to shape it through resonance. The wave of possibility is “collapsed” around a single possibility, forming it into the reality of that possibility as the person’s perception of it. Every single individual has a mental structure as a vibratory frequency that not only forms a holographic, 3-D pattern as a form of spatial map, but also contains a self-organizing mechanism that acts to structure matter into the corresponding shape of that same pattern.

Matter is neutral and passive in nature as a primordial substance that acts as an “empty shell” for consciousness as pure energy to enter into through sympathetic resonance, organize into the same thematic pattern as a frequency, and form a coherent outer reality that matches or is of the same nature as the inner reality of the mind shaping it. Matter is magnetic in nature and consciousness is electric, and together they copulate to form an electromagnetic field that organizes matter into living forms as the energetic matrix for producing the illusion of reality as both an inner and outer space-time continuum. The body, being structured by the consciousness that inhabits it and gives it life, vibrates at the frequency of the soul’s consciousness, and is the active mechanism for orchestrating the entire outer world of material form.

The soul is comprised of “memory” as the dynamic pattern of its frequency, and is what provides the subconscious mind of the lower, material plane with the template for creating as an experience of reality. The subconscious is passive and receptive in nature and doesn’t have the ability to make new decisions or act out choices to create in a unique and original manner through willful action that’s outside of its “memory”. In order to create within the material world, we have to seed the subconscious mind with a “memory” of the reality we want it to create and the nature of the experience we want to have by way of that reality.

Ideas, Archetypes, and the Nature of Vibration

All ideas and information form a mental image as the physical form of the idea that organizes the information available into a fixed pattern of some sort that forms a corresponding vibratory frequency. All vibration exists as an organized pattern of information that serves as a model for organizing all similar information into the same pattern as a correspondence. Frequencies exists as a wave-form that contains an infinite amount of information as a “theme” that can be organized into an infinite number of variations based on how the same information is structured and what emotion is animating and motivating it.

The vibration provides the type of information and the emotion is the motivating force that determines how that information is structured to create a certain “type of experience” as a story about it. Any scenario or live setting can be turned into a drama, adventure, comedy, or horror story based on the attitude and perspective it’s being told from. Any scenario as a material setting (field of available information) being “shaped” by someone in a sad mood, will serve to tell a sad story that will create an experience of it that makes them feel sad. Whatever emotion being expressed in a situation shapes it in a way that produces and gives us more of that same emotion. The material reality itself is meaningless outside of its ability to give us a “feeling” of some kind.

An archetype exists as a universal idea that’s thematic in nature (memory) and lends itself as a generic template for organizing matter into animated forms. An archetype not only has the basic type of idea inherent in its natural form, but also the operations of that form as a natural set of behaviors. All form that’s produced by how information is organized into a pattern, determines the natural function, operation, and behavior of that form and the outcome it produces through a creative process. To change the function and the outcome, you have to change the pattern as the memory being used to produce it.

       An idea as a material reality exists as a “memory” that comes to us in “whole form”. It contains everything necessary to produce and replicate or reproduce more of that same idea. A universal memory as an archetype is used by the individual mind to produce a personal memory of the same kind, varied only by how it’s adapted to the mental model of the individual and as applied to a unique set of circumstances and conditions. A universal theme as a memory lends itself to creating a personal experience as a memory of the same nature, and is returned to its universal status by how it’s integrated into the overall model of the individual.

When we form a memory of a certain type of flower, we don’t remember that specific flower itself, but it adds to our overall memory of that type of flower in general. As we create experiences that seem to be specific to the exact set of circumstances in which they took place, subconsciously, they form back into the general pattern as a theme that’s being used to create them. So each time an idea is applied to a unique set of circumstances it creates a unique variation of that same idea as the feeling it gave us through the experience of it. The same idea as a pattern forms a memory as a vibratory frequency that’s used to organize our experiences to be of the same nature by resonating with the field of information involved, reforming it as our interpretation and perception of it, forming a coherent inner and outer reality of the same idea and overall pattern as a theme.

The Nature of Memory and the Faculty of the Imagination

While many people think that memory is formed as a factual recollection of an event in our life, in reality, we create our memories in our imagination by how we form our experience of the event. We then use our imagination to recall the memory and play it out once again in our mind as the means of keeping ourselves tuned to the reality of the memory as a theme for producing more of the same type of experiences in our present situation. Our memories of the past are formed largely by what we told ourselves about the experience that made it mean something and formed the story we told ourselves about it as a way of experiencing it. The meaning and story we told ourselves about something gave us a certain internal feeling, and out of that feeling we formed our experience of it.

As we formed our experience, we also formed an experience of how other people are, the world in general, and how we are in relationship to it all. Meaning and experience, like the mind and soul that’s creating it, is also threefold in nature and creates on three levels and scales simultaneously. As we create our experience of others and the world, we create ourselves by way of those same experiences. We create out of memory of the past as our mental paradigm to produce more of that same type of reality in the present, which sets the basis for the future as a form of self-regeneration and replication.

        Our material body, which means the brain, heart, gut, nervous system, and all aspects of the body, as well as our outer material reality (the whole material plane) is created by the subconscious aspect of the mind through memory as whole patterns that form a theme as a generalized idea that can be applied adequately to any situations and circumstances to reshape it into the “nature of the memory” by how we form an interpretation of it. We’re always looking through the memory of the past to perceive the present and interpreting it to mean the same thing. We only look at the information in any situation that matches or is conducive to forming the same idea over and over, and we ignore or can’t see what doesn’t. All of our perceptions are formed out of partial information that’s been reorganized through our interpretation of it that forms how we perceive it and how we form an experience of it as a result.

We’re always creating out of memory of some kind while in a material body, whether it comes as our own seemingly self-created memories, the ideas given to us or taught to us by others, or memories as archetypal ideas we draw into our mental sphere from higher planes. The subconscious, which is the creative aspect of the mind on the material plane, needs a memory as a thematic pattern for producing a perception of reality as our experience and personal creation. We change our experience by either changing the set of integrated memories producing it or by creating a virtual memory in the imagination that acts to give the subconscious a new idea for turning into a corresponding reality. The subconscious doesn’t know the difference between an actual reality and an imagined one because they’re both created the same way in the faculty of the imagination. As we conceive of something we form an internal representation of it in our imagination that conforms it to us, and provides a generalized idea for organizing how we first perceive, then experience it.

Transforming Memory 

We transform our memory of something, not by intellectually reinterpreting it, but by emotionally creating a new experience of it. We reform how we experience it in our imagination, until we get it the way we want it, then we replay it several times until it comes naturally without having to think about it. Once we can recall it instantly and we begin thinking about it as a part of our natural thoughts, we produce what we can think of as an artificial or virtual memory that provides the subconscious with a pattern for creating as a reality. As we form an inner experience of it that’s embellished with sensory information that naturally elicits an emotional response, and replay it in the exact same way over and over, we seat it in our subconscious and it becomes a natural part of our psyche. By changing our memories, we change our internal nature, and transform the nature of our outer reality as our experience of it.

Emotion is the motivating force of the subconscious and imagination, which is the creative component of the mind in terms of its ability to shape reality. Regardless of what intellectual or conscious decision we appear to make, it’s the emotion associated with our decision that determines what aspect of it we focus on and run through our imagination consistently that actually creates the experience we produce. Thought as an imagined reality is creative, and emotion drives the nature of our thoughts and how they form to tell a story. If we seem to consciously choose success, but then dwell in the fear of failure, we’re actually (unconsciously) choosing to create the experience of failing. By imagining an experience vividly and with intense feelings, we’re literally giving the subconscious the command and pattern as the “type of experience” we want it to create around the idea of what it means to succeed.

When our three minds are not coherently “aligned” and all acting in unison to create the same idea as a reality, we naturally default in favor of whatever has the strongest emotion associated with it. Strong emotion acts as a “hook” that controls our attention and what we consistently focus on, causing us to dwell in the reality of it repeatedly. Whatever idea produces a strong emotional charge in us tends to control what we focus on and create as an inner reality by how we run it through our mind as an actual scenario or possible experience. Our imagined experience acts as a rehearsal and preview of what’s to come.

The Conscious and Unconscious Nature of Choice 

While we tend to relate to the idea of choice as something we only engage in consciously through a form of deliberate and calculated act, the fact is we’re making a very fundamental decision to create by whatever it is we focus on and think about. While we can say the subconscious doesn’t have the ability to discriminate or “choose possibilities” as a means of consciously creating, it does have the ability through our emotional state to determine what it is we give our attention to, think about on a consistent basis, and therefore use our will to create as an outer reality.

The outer perception of reality ALWAYS comes as a correspondence to the inner reality of the imagination. This is because both are being created by the same aspect of the mind through the natural laws that govern it. You can’t dwell in hardship and suffering by constantly imagining it as an experience in your mind while acting to produce its opposite as an outer experience. You can’t produce what “you want” by constantly thinking about and creating the emotional state of what you “don’t want”. Whatever we dwell in, good or bad, we use our will to create as our experience of reality. Even if we are a part of what exists as a primarily positive set of circumstances that contradict our imagined idea for things, we’ll act to distort it and make it into the same feeling experience as our imagined thoughts by how we interpret it to create our experience of it. The mind uses its mental paradigm as the means for interpreting things to create a consistent story about them.

Material reality in and of itself is not the point or objective of the mind (soul) in creating reality, it’s the “experience” created through the material means. It’s how we use whatever material means or situation is available to us as our means for creating the “same type” of experience as our imagined ones. The material objects themselves have no meaning or value outside of the one we give them. Things only mean what we say they mean. Truth is whatever we say and believe is true. There really is no such thing as a truly “objective reality” because all reality is created by our mind as our perception of it formed by our mental paradigm as our vibratory frequency, and is ultimately “subjective” in nature. This means that not only are we the one creating our reality, but that we are then subject to (formed and determined) our own creation. We are always “creating ourselves” through how we create our experience of reality. We’re always acting on ourselves to create ourselves by how our mind operates to form the entire material plane as our experience of ourselves within a specific type of reality.

The Nature of an Idea as a Memory

All ideas come to us and exist as a form of memory. They provide us with a pattern as all the information needed that’s structured in a specific way to create the reality as a material form of the idea. An archetype of a chair, for example, provides us with the basic idea of “sitting” that we can then use to produce any number of styles or different types of chairs. And idea as a specific type of form vibrates at a specific frequency as a thematic pattern that can be used to organize matter on any level and scale of existence. If we have accumulated memory of being “betrayed”, we can interpret any number of behaviors or scenarios into meaning we’re being betrayed once again.

We form ideas into realities in our imagination, and in doing so, “tune ourselves” energetically to the reality of that idea where we act as the channel or vehicle for that idea to express through and produce an experience of itself. By tuning ourselves to an idea, we form it as an internal representation that acts as a virtual memory to produce a live simulation as an outer reality that allows us to experience that idea and our self “through that idea”. We first act to reshape the outer world to match the theme of the inner world as its creator that provides us with the means for creating an “experience of our self” through it. Whatever ideas we become a channel for as memory that we embody, we shape ourselves through the expression of those ideas, and they become a part of our personal memories forming our essential nature as a soul.

The subconscious can’t tell the difference between an actual experience and an imagined one, because they’re both created with the same faculty of the mind. They’re both created in exactly the same way. Our memories of the past are the creative template for creating more of the same type of experiences in the present. As we think about memories of various sorts, whether those of our actual experiences or ideas we’ve been taught and given by others, we use them to direct and command our subconscious to create more of the same type of experiences within our current situation. We literally tune ourselves to the vibration of our thoughts as a theme for creating experiences of our self. The soul is comprised of memory acquired through an infinite number of combining various forms of memory to express and reform the same basic idea of “itself”.

 The Motivating Force of Pleasure and Pain

The subconscious and all memory is driven by emotional states and motivated by ideas that represent pleasure or pain. These two types of motivational forces can also be translated as being similar to the idea of love and fear, which act to produce complementary opposites of the same idea. Regardless of what idea we hold in our mind, the emotion we associate to it determines whether we create an experience of it as being either pleasurable and therefore desirable, or painful and therefore something to be avoided. Whatever emotion we experience in relation to the idea determines whether or not we create it or its opposite as a possible variation. Whether or not we expand and move into an idea with the desire to become one with it, or contract and move away from an idea as a means of separating ourselves from it.

Many times we say we want something, yet, at the same time, we fear it, and in thinking about it we create it in our mind as a fearful experience rather than enjoying or loving it, and we program our own mind to dread and move away from or avoid something we ultimately desire. These same laws apply and operate in an absolute fashion regardless of our ideas of right and wrong, and good or bad, and serve to create in a negative fashion just as readily as they do in a positive fashion, all based on how we imagine them and create an inner experience of them as a command, rehearsal and preview for our subconscious to produce as an outer reality.

Belief and Knowing through Direct Experience

It’s very important to get a thorough understanding of an idea as a law or principle in order to use it by applying it in a fully aware and deliberate manner. While belief is important until we actually know something as a fact through the direct experience of it, it can also lead us astray if we believe in the wrong thing, and therefore can never create the actual experience of our belief, while unconsciously engaging in creating the opposite without realizing it, because of course we’re the ones that are creating it by how we use our mind. We only truly know what we can do. All law is known by its ability to produce our experience of reality. When we’re asked to believe in something we can’t apply and experience, we invest in a fundamental form of deception.

A lack of belief in what operates as law negates and argues against something, producing the imaginary reality of its beliefs, entering doubt as a form of contesting its own psychological powers. It directly challenges an operation out of a lack of true self-awareness and understanding. When we don’t realize we’re the ones creating the reality of our beliefs, regardless of what they are, we imagine that reality is something that exists separate from us instead of as an inherent part of us. We believe our perception of reality comes from our ability to accurately observe and evaluate it from a detached perspective where “we’re in reality and it’s happening to us from outside of us”. While this is true in one respect of the objective reality of the collective unconscious that we are all a part of as the “original creation” that provides the primary substratum as a universal idea that we all use to create personalized versions, “how” we experience our joint reality is a personal creation based on our “model of the world”.

Once true clarity is achieved through the self-recognition of how we’re always using our mind to create, we come to know it as a fact through the direct experience of it, and we begin working cooperatively with it by learning how to operate our own mind and imagination. The truth is there is no absolute truth in terms of the true nature of “what reality is” in the objective sense of a generalized consensus, because every single person perceives the same general idea as a potential wave-form of information, in a slightly different way, based on their mental paradigm and conditioning as the memory being used as a filter to perceive it. The only way we have of trying to figure out if something is actually real or not, is if two or more people “appear to be seeing the same thing”. Even then, they’ll see a somewhat different version of the same thing based on what stands out and is emphasized and what’s ignored or not noticed. A unique version is formed through a filtering system that determines what they’re able to see and comprehend, and what they can’t see or comprehend.

The Nature of Will – Self and Others

One of the most prevalent laws there are as a kind of universal rule that governs both good and evil, and everything in-between, is that we can’t ever act to violate another person’s free choice and will. This isn’t just a nice idea or a form of courtesy, it’s a universal law. What this means in terms of our ability to create at a personal level, is that whatever we imagine and set forth as a vivid internal experience as the means of producing the outer equivalent, can’t involve another person specifically. If someone else is involved in our wish, we have to create a generalized or universal idea of the person as simply being someone of the same desire, karma, and will as we are. While realizing that when the experience manifests, the other person that will be a natural part of it will be of the same memory (vibratory frequency) and will as we are. If we form an idea that involves a specific person that won’t naturally play a part in that kind of reality, then we experience it as not working, or we struggle endlessly in an attempt to get the other person to comply and cooperate in an agreeable manner.

All wishes and virtual memories produced in the imagination as a request and template for creating as an experience of reality, should only involve yourself or a universal concept of another person who would naturally be a part of that same type of experience. Just as the realization that when we act to change actual memories that were formed with other people, we have to change their nature in order to act it out in a different way, because as long as their nature stays the same, they can only participate in creating the same type of experience over and over again. You can’t create a new type of experience from the same old memories as perceptions and behavioral attitudes. In creating a new experience based on a new idea, you have to leave the nature and identity of the people involved open knowing that only those who are capable of creating those types of experiences will be involved in the actual reality that manifests.

The Threefold Nature of our Mind, the Art of Self-Perfection, and the True Nature of Choice, Imagination, and Higher Will

One of the problems we have in realizing the true nature of not only ourselves, but of reality in general, is that we have a hard time not thinking in separative, dualistic terms, while trying to comprehend a reality that’s the unification of multiple dimensions into a cohesive whole. We fail to recognize the relationship that exists between higher and lower planes, between spirit and matter, and between ourselves as we exist simultaneously on various levels of consciousness. We imagine that spirit exists separate and apart from matter, that our Higher Self is a being separate and different from us, that our own subconscious and conscious mind exists and operate independently of each other, and that our outer reality is objective in nature and has nothing to do with our inner reality and how we form an experience of the outer world. We’ve been trained to a mindset that sees all of life which exists as a unified whole as being comprised instead of a bunch of separate parts that have no direct relationship to each other and as being able to function independent of everything else, when in fact it’s actually an intimate and cohesive part of everything else.

The confusion arises from the fact that we exist in a primarily “dual state” as a form of paradox while in the material realm. This dual state as the perception of separation that creates the appearance of our self and others, as if “we’re in here” and they’re “out there”, apart from us, is necessary in order to have an experience of ourselves as someone or something specific. We can only “experience ourselves” as we exist in relationship with everything else. Our very perception is formed by “seeing ourselves in everything else”. This is because we actually exist as being “universal in nature”, comprised of a unique combination of archetypal attributes and qualities that make up our “self” as memories formed out of self-created experiences of ourselves, which are the very foundation for the psychological make-up of humanity as a whole, and that of the Natural world which is also governed by a form of archetypal memory as the “instinctual field” of the “collective Unconscious”.

What we refer to as the invisible realm of spirit that underlies, permeates, and animates the material world giving it Life, is the realm of archetypal ideas and principles that serve to give rise to all material form. Archetypes exist as a form of generalized, universal idea as attributes, qualities, and personality traits that are used at the personal level to self-create by embodying them and becoming one with the idea they represent and acquiring those same traits as a result. Universal memory as archetypes are very similar to personal memory as whole realities or experiences that are complete with qualities, characteristics, personality traits, emotions, thoughts, meaning, roles and identity, and behavioral dynamics that naturally lend themselves to telling certain types of stories. They are the complete ingredients necessary not only for creating a personal inner reality, but also an analogous experience of the same type of outer reality. How we experience something is what forms the basis for creating a memory out of it as a union between the inner imagined reality, and the outer equivalent, that together allow us to experience the inward born idea outside of ourselves as an inherent part of our environment and we get a “sense of ourselves” within and as an intimate part of that idea, and it forms into a personal memory that serves to shape us. We’re always using universal memory to create our experience of reality, and create ourselves by way of those experiences.

       Because all of life is a coherent part of the same universal memory as the collective unconscious, whatever archetypal memory we resonate with we act to draw into our mind and imagination, and “become one with it in mind and spirit”, tuning ourselves to it by taking on the same qualities and personality traits, and we simultaneously connect with those same qualities and ideas in everything around us. As we change our inner constitution, our outer experience of ourselves changes accordingly. As we incorporate and integrate ideas into our mental paradigm, we form a natural relationship with that same idea in everything outside of us. Once an idea and way of being becomes a natural part of our inner being it also becomes a natural part of our outer world as our unified experience of our self. The inner and outer worlds exist as complementary opposites of each other, which means that if you change one, the other one changes automatically to match it. We’re always connecting to and forming a relationship with ourselves as our inner nature in everything around us and creating an experience through the unification of the inner and outer that becomes an inherent part of us as our soul’s memory. We’re always borrowing from the universal as a means of creating our self as an individual.

All creation comes by way of what’s called the primary “3 in 1” Law of the Trinity. Every single entity is comprised of two complementary opposites that work together to produce a third entity as a functional, unified whole. The material mind also exists as complementary aspects of the subconscious (inner self) and self-conscious (outer awareness of self), which work together to produce an offspring as a unified reality that’s a fundamental part of both. Each aspect of a whole acts to emanate and give rise to the other. While we tend to think of the self-conscious mind as being of a different nature and function as the subconscious mind, it’s actually a complementary aspect of the subconscious which is what gave birth to it. The true conscious mind, which is that aspect of us that we commonly call our Higher Self, is the unification of both the subconscious and self-conscious in an exalted state as a single entity on a higher plane, and is actually the aspect of the mind that operates as “Will” within the lower mind.

The self, like the mind and soul, is threefold in nature and exists simultaneously as three aspects on three parallel planes that function together to produce a unified whole as a cohesive reality. Within each plane, the single aspect of the self within that plane exists in a dual state of polarity as complementary opposites of itself, forming a triad. The Higher Self is what we call the human soul of the middle plane that acts as a medium between the Oversoul and the lower soul, and when manifesting in the lower plane of material existence, also separates into dual and complementary aspects of itself, and emanates the subconscious mind which acts to form and give life to the material body as it’s vehicle, contains the self-conscious aspect of the mind in its potential and latent state. After a period of gestation, this aspect of the mind is then birthed by the subconscious through a natural growth process as it’s complementary opposite. This idea is represented metaphorically as the “Madonna (Mother) and male child” as her divinely conceived offspring. The subconscious mind is the direct emanation of the Higher Soul and is formed out of the memory of all incarnations as an accumulation of integrated experiences to form a summation as our personality.

       The self-conscious mind, which is what most people think of as “the” mind, is birthed and exists solely within the material body as our outer awareness and what we think of as “brain consciousness”. The self-conscious is the masculine offspring as “self-awareness” that’s based exclusively on the body and current life conditions of the body, forms what we refer to as the “ego” as our soul’s identification with the body and the material world. Naturally, because this identity or sense of self is formed entirely within the current incarnation and based on outer awareness of the self, it’s also the mortal part of us that dies with the body. As humans, we are both immortal and eternal and mortal and temporary.

While we tend to think that the self-conscious mind has the ability to generate its own consciousness and therefore has a “will of its own” as a personal will, it actually doesn’t. All material bodies only have the consciousness it acts as a vehicle and vessel for and is able to “draw in” from the Aether and assimilate through resonance. What it does have is the ability to discriminate and evaluate ideas, and is the aspect of the mind that chooses and selects what it focuses on and thinks about, and thereby becomes one with producing a form of “seed” for the subconscious mind to produce inwardly by imagining it as a possible reality that it then uses to give birth to an outer reality of the same nature. This is the aspect of the mind that acts as the gatekeeper to the subconscious through its ability to discriminate and select what it “let’s in” to the womb of the subconscious, and what it rejects and keeps out by withdrawing attention from it.

The self-conscious is the aspect of the mind that forms conscious thoughts and internal dialogue that works together with the subconscious mind to manifest both an internal reality and external reality of the same nature and likeness. There’s always a fundamental paradox at work in everything as the feminine and masculine qualities that operate as complementary opposites, because while we consider the subconscious to be our “inner self” and internal nature, it’s also what produces and gives birth to the “outer world” as an extension, projection, and equivalent of itself as a kind of metaphorical theme. And while we say that the self-conscious mind is our awareness of the outer world, it produces the thoughts and internal dialogue we experience as our inner nature, and is what acts to witness the outer world of which it provided the seed of the subconscious mind for creating.

       Whenever someone is unaware of the multiple aspects of their mind and self (which are most people), and how these various aspects operate together to produce a unified whole as a cohesive inner and outer experience of reality, their self-conscious mind of thought tends to be run almost entirely by their subconscious mind, which operates exclusively out of memory of some form, and is habitual and repetitive in nature. When we remain in a primary state of unconsciousness, unaware of our true capacity for creating in an original manner, most of our thinking is repetitive and based on memory. When this happens our thoughts appear random, sporadic, compulsive in nature, lack meaning and a sense of coherence, and are constant. We simply replay the same type of thoughts as memory over and over like a broken record. All of our thoughts are something we’ve been taught, heard, told by others, or of past experiences that are played out by applying them to current situations producing more of the same type of experiences as variations. The capacities of the self-conscious mind as the ability to select, focus attention, and form thoughts, which together produce a seed for impregnating the subconscious imagination with brand new ideas for creating in an original and unique manner, exists for the most part in an unconscious state and uses its creative ability instead to merely focus on memories of the past and create more of the same type of experiences over and over.

The Higher mind of the human soul has the ability to truly create by choosing and drawing in universal memory of archetypes as qualities and characteristics that naturally forms an idea as a material form. It then willfully projects the archetype into the subconscious mind in the form of a memory that seeds it with a new pattern for creating on different scales within the material plane as both an inner and outer reality. The idea, once drawn in and conceived by the subconscious is reflected in the imagination as  a mental impression that the self-conscious mind witnesses in a passive manner as an inspired thought that comes to it out of nowhere. The self-conscious mind evaluates it and has the option to either choose it by continuing to think about it, or to reject it by saying no and withdrawing attention from it. When the self-conscious selects and continues thinking about the idea, fashioning it as a possible outer reality, it adapts and modifies it by defining it with details and sensory attributes into a new variation as a unique and personalized version.

This unique adapted version of a universal archetype is then concentrated on by continuing to think about, and it acts to re-seed the subconscious mind with a new version of the same idea, as a form of virtual memory that it can easily use to create both an inner and outer reality as the experience of the idea that becomes the basis of an “actual memory”, that serves to shape all three aspects of the self and soul at once. All actual creation (of brand new ideas) within the material world comes as a form of feedback loop that undergoes a transformative process of adaptation and modification between the Higher Self and the lower self, and between the higher and lower planes. This is symbolically represented by the Hexagram as interlaced triangles (a triangle represents the 3-fold nature of the mind) oriented in different directions (star of David) of higher to lower and lower to higher, as in the axiom “as above, so below, and as below, so above, in the manifestation of the One thing”.

       This creative process is also illustrated in the Tetragrammaton or Tetrad, as the four letter name of God, as will, intellect, feeling, and the manifestation of will. This process forms the symbolic basis for the four Elements of the material plane as fire (will), air (thought), water (sensation), and earth (manifestation). Naturally, there are only really two true Elements, that of fire (Higher Will that injects the archetypal idea) and water (subconscious conceives and reflects it), which together in a unified state produce air (thought as form) and its denser version of earth as it’s material manifestation or outer reflection.

Spirit as the Life-Power is always represented as air and breath, which is the unification of the feminine and masculine principles that form a functional whole. Together they work as a single entity. We inhale the outer, integrating and assimilating it into our molecular structure, then exhale infusing the outer reality with the molecules of our inner structure. There’s always a mutual exchange going on between the inner and outer, between the individual self and it’s greater self as the outer reality, which are comprised of the same substance. Will exists as the Higher, creative Soul that operates in dual aspects on the lower, more dense plane as intellect and feeling sensation that together form a unified whole as the etheric body or holographic blueprint as an inner imagined reality that produces the outer world as a material manifestation. Whatever we focus on and think about with emotional intensity forms a kind of request as a command to the Will of the Higher Self, which acts in a neutral and unbiased fashion to create it as an outer experience.

When we reside in a primarily unconscious state, we have no real awareness of our subconscious mind or our higher consciousness, and imagine the thoughts they produce and reflect in the mind as novel thought-forms to be our own willful creation. Yet because the self-conscious aspect has to choose the thoughts given to it by the Higher Mind (usually as a form of guidance or answer to an inquiry) and use its ability to develop them by continuing to think about and concentrate on them, it often doesn’t, and as a result they’re never allowed to take hold, and it reverts back instead to its redundant habitual way of thinking. Whenever the self-conscious rejects an idea and doesn’t allow it to be developed and grown in the imagination to fruition, it doesn’t act to use the idea to seed the subconscious, and it never manifests as part of its outer reality. This is often what happens when we ask for guidance from our Higher Self and when an idea comes to us intuitively in response to our request, we evaluate it momentarily to decide whether we like it or not, and if we don’t, we say “nope, this isn’t it”, usually because it didn’t show up the way we wanted it to. Then we go right back to asking for more guidance.

       Part of the problem many have is they have trouble telling the difference between ideas conceived from the Higher Mind and ideas received through the willful actions of others. The subconscious mind acts as the womb for any suggestion that’s allowed in and to take hold by the self-conscious mind. Whatever we give our attention to while in a passive state without discriminating or evaluating, and readily engage in by becoming a part of it and continuing to think about it, becomes a natural part of our thoughts and our perception of reality. This is most prevalent through various forms of entertainment and passive engagement where we surrender all resistance to the ideas we’re being fed and relinquish the need to discern them intuitively for meaning and accuracy, and as a result, they become a part of our natural thoughts and we think about them in a random and habitual manner. Usually without having any idea of what’s actually going on. Our mind is constantly accessing memory through association of various sorts. This is why songs frequently pop into our head out of nowhere and plays over and over, we imagine a scene in a movie we watched years ago, we think about the news we heard two days ago, we process the ideas of an article that we read over and over, and so on.

We all have the ability to self-create through our ability to choose or select ideas, then develop them by concentrating on them until we form them in our mind as a full, intense sensory reality that gives us an experience that develops them into an imaginary memory that impregnates the subconscious mind where it then becomes a natural part of our behaviors and outer reality, producing an experience of it as an analogy. We can likewise choose to actively develop qualities and characteristics that are latent within us as a means of self-development that evolves us to higher states of being. The ultimate goal of our higher soul is to achieve a state of self-perfection as a form of completion that actively utilizes all of our potential as the basis of being and creating. Who we become in our life is always a matter of choice and what it is we choose to give our attention to and concentrate on by thinking about repetitively. Whatever we choose to think about and create as an imaginary reality and life-like scenario, we impregnate our subconscious with as a pattern for producing as an experience through our activities.

The subconscious, once given an idea as an actual possibility for reality, begins taking action on it while connecting to that same idea in the greater subconscious mind of the material world as a primary form of telepathy or mental transmission. This is the same way instinct and intuition works.  A well-developed idea formed out of energetic essence in the imagination becomes magnetic and acts as a passive vehicle and receptor for electric energy of a complementary nature. It forms an organized pattern of primal matter (light essence) that becomes a holographic blueprint for creating that attracts and “draws in” consciousness as vibration that brings it to life through activity. All material form, whether imagined or actual, provides a kind of empty shell for consciousness to ensoul and bring to life as a vibratory frequency. Just as all frequencies have a pattern in it and a self-organizing force, all patterns as organized matter forms a frequency.  As an idea comes to life inside of us as a living form infused with strong emotions, and attracts and emanates an electromagnetic field, which are the natural forces of the mind that shapes matter as light-essence into material forms that serves as a vehicle for consciousness to express through, it acts to “vibrate” at a certain frequency that vibrates that same idea in everything else through sympathetic resonance, and reorganizes how the outer world “appears” as a composition to be analogous to the inner one. Matter only becomes organized into a fixed form when it’s being “observed” by a mind. When not being observed, it returns to a state of pure potential as a fluctuating field of information.

       All vibration has both a pattern as a living form inherent in it and a self-organizing force that shapes matter into the form of the pattern. How something functions is based on its energetic structure. Form always indicates the behavior, function and natural operations and activity the form takes on. As we think about and form an idea in our mind as a well-defined sensory reality coupled with a strong emotion that produces an inner experience of it as the “meaning” it has, we literally become “one with that idea in spirit” and we tune ourselves to its vibration. Our vibratory frequency is based on our emotional thoughts and what memories we live out of. All vibration as a pattern for producing life act to structure the same type of pattern on all scales and levels simultaneously as both an inner and outer, and an upper and lower, that function together as a unified whole or cohesive and coherent reality of the same nature. Whatever we think about and imagine with intensity we are “literally” creating as our life experiences and creating ourselves by way of those experiences.

When we begin waking up from our unconscious state and begin realizing how our own mind is operating on many different levels to create our entire material existence, we consciously move out of creating through repetitive patterns of past memories, and we can begin to intentionally determine what we focus on, give out attention to, and concentrate on instead. We can begin choosing who and how we’re going to be by intentionally embodying new qualities and characteristics as new ways of being that serve to transform us and our experiences of our self within a corresponding outer reality. We can begin realizing our full potential as a creator and begin acting on ourselves to intentionally create ourselves. We can learn how to consciously direct our attention into ideas that we want to become one as the means of self-creating. We can mentally blend only with ideas we want to become a part of our self and our experience of our self as our outer reality. We can begin using our mind the way it’s designed to be used to create ourselves as a higher, perfected, and glorified being.

Once we begin using universal ideas and archetypal memories born out of our true nature as the means of creating ourselves, we can begin vibrating at a higher level of consciousness that resonates with our Higher Self instead of our lower, unconscious, desire and impulsively driven self. When we strive towards self-perfection as the means of self-creation of our highest potential, we become aware of who and what we’re blending with energetically, and we tend to become steadily isolated from others because very few people are engaged in the same creative process in the same way or at the same level as we are. This is why the spiritual Adept and Initiate are symbolically portrayed as a Hermit. Higher consciousness is the awareness of the true self and the true nature of reality. Consciousness is the root and foundation of all physical manifestation. We are always the one creating our self and our experience of the outer world as a projection and correspondence to our inner world. All reality as we know it is formed out of our relationship with ourselves in everything else.

        From a purely psychological perspective, this is the state of being as the awareness that all volition is universal in nature, not personal. Whatever we choose to think about and become one with is brought into fruition through our Higher Will, which acts as a form of neutral force for creating whatever we ask for and have a predisposition for as an unconscious state that creates out of memory of the past. It’s the realization that the idea of “personal will” originating in the animal body as a function of the personality is an illusion. The material body, like all creatures of the animal kingdom is driven by instinct that comes as intuition and has no consciousness or creative will of its own, but merely acts as the vehicle of expression for the Will of the Higher Soul.

Because the intelligence of the Higher Will works through the intelligence of the lower mind and body, it creates the illusion of being the outcome of a personal effort and aspiration, while in reality it’s simply the final stage as the outcome of work initiated and carried out by the Life-Power Itself. The Great Truth is that the “heavenly man” (Archetypal Man) reproduces himself in the “earthly man”, symbolized by the archetypal “ideal” man of Adam Kadmon (Adam of the Bible), also called the “microcosm”. The Microcosm is a direct reflection of the Macrocosm on a smaller scale and plane because it’s comprised of and operates according to the same laws and principles. In this idea we find the truth hidden as a clue of the spiritual doctrine of the Christ as being “begotten, and not made”. Who was also described as being “in this world but not of it”. We find the meaning of Christ’s words when he said “of myself I am nothing, all power comes from my Father”. We are a reproduction of an original source and not created by our own hand. What we perceive as our physical make-up and concrete mind is but a vehicle and aspect of our higher source as our true nature.

All “original ideas” that are used to perfect the formation of our essential nature comes as a relationship with our immediate environment, what’s stimulated and brought out in us in response to it, and how we spontaneously develop as a result. The only thing that can be actively brought out in us is what’s there in latent form to begin with. We are never given something from another or from a source outside of us, nor do we ever acquire something we didn’t originally possess. The outer world only acts to stimulate, awaken and bring into an active state what exists in latent form within us that’s of the same universal nature. We perfect ourselves to a higher level of consciousness by overcoming emotionally driven instinctual tendencies and becoming aware and identified instead with our true Higher Self. Whatever we “choose” and give our attention to, we unite with in mind and become “like in nature”. By becoming aware of this natural process and choosing to focus exclusively on our Higher Nature, we perfect ourselves and transform into our Divine Nature, free of all internal conflict and indecision born out of an unconscious state.

Learning how to Operate your Own Mind – The Power of Questions, Wondering, and Curiosity

We’ve all heard the saying “ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you”. But what many don’t realize is that this isn’t an inspirational saying designed to encourage, but is stating a law of the mind more as a fact in how to operate it. The brain has what’s called the “reticular activating system” (RAS) which is what “directs our awareness” and is literally “operated” by questions and inquiries of various sorts, and scans our environment looking for information that pertain to a possible answer. Questions and answers are opposites of the same thing. When the brain perceives information that may provide answers to our questions, it places our attention on them, we notice them, and we intuitively recognize them as pertaining to our questions through a form of association. These often come as insights, realizations around an idea, or as an intuitive awareness that’s a form of synchronicity. Questions and answers are synchronized to each other, and are of the same frequency or nature. We are connected vibrationally to everything in our outer environment, and are always resonating with the information around us through attraction and repulsion. Activating same information by awakening and “vibrating it”, while having no effect on others. The heart center of the body is what connects us to our outer environment as our subconscious mind, and is what would we could call “instinctual” in nature, because it interacts with everything around us at the subconscious level. It’s always in a state of anticipation, and identifying what’s the same as we are (same vibration), and what’s not (like the immune system which is operated by the same principle and is regulated by the Thymus gland which is attached to the heart). All pertinent information from the environment (horizontal plane) that we resonate with comes into our system through the heart, where it’s distributed throughout the body, some of which is sent to the brain for sensory decoding, and the RAS of the brain directs our attention and awareness of certain aspects that pertain to the frequencies of our questions. Whenever we wonder about something, or compose a thought into an actual question, we form a frequency that connects to the same frequency in everything around us, and sets into a motion a form of “seeking out the answer”. Even when we’re no longer thinking about it, the subconscious mind continues using it to scan and connect to the same idea in our everyday life, and when it resonates with information of the same nature, we notice it and it stands out. Sometimes we have a direct intuitive awareness of it, and realize it pertains to the answer, other times it seems like a coincidence that we’re not quite sure why we’re noticing it. All coincidences and intuitive recognition that are not investigated further or followed up on, don’t go anywhere. We have to discern and interpret it in order for it to have any meaning. We have to see it as a clue or sign of some sort and “merge into it” in order for an association to take place. Most answers don’t come as a one-time realization, but more as one idea, that when recognized for its relevance and followed, leads to another idea, which leads to another idea, and formulates a chain-of-association that ultimately reveals the answer in its fullness. One idea or a notion often appears as a closed door, which has to be penetrated in order for the unknown to become known through observation and realization. It’s only ideas that we pursue and continuously form more questions around with every clue that lead us to actual answers that bring a full understanding. We only truly comprehend something through an experience of it. Usually answers come that when digested and integrated into our current model only serve to form more questions, and so a single inquiry can set into motion a lifetime of learning. It’s only what we have an interest in and sense of curiosity around that engages and intrigues us that naturally forms the path of our development as a learning process that comes through direct experience. By realizing the answers in real life situations as the direct experience of them, they are automatically integrated into our mind, modifying our mental paradigm through incorporating them. All information obtained through experience becomes synthesized as memory and reforms our perceptual lens which readily “sees it” as a part of our outer reality from that point forward. Experience, which brings self-realization, breeds understanding. What we understand through our own realization becomes known to us as an intuitive awareness. Intuitive perception comes as a knowing that seems to be an integral part of us without a direct awareness of why or how we know. It comes more in an automatic fashion. When we intuitively know about something as an in-depth understanding of its true nature, it doesn’t come by what’s communicated through its outer appearance, but is felt and understood inwardly. As we realize things through our experience of them, we realize things about ourselves at the same time, because it’s “our” realization, not one being explained to us by someone else or as an account of their experience that we substitute for our own. We form the understanding out of our own mind, and it automatically becomes a part of our mind as a new mental filter that allows us to see it as a natural part of our normal everyday perception.

Once we realize how this process works as a law of the mind through resonance (attraction), sympathetic induction (absorption), and coherence (synthesis), we can gain a better understanding of the importance of questions. Many times we ask questions whose answers would not be valuable to us in any way, or as a means of drawing those types of ideas to us by giving our attention to them. By learning how to ask pertinent questions whose answers would provide us with valuable information and resources in the practical sense of gaining knowledge that can be utilized to create in a meaningful way, we facilitate our own growth and development while simultaneously connecting ourselves to those ideas all around us. Questions and their answers are of the same idea, and one acts to initiate the other as a pathway of understanding by merging into and becoming one with ideas in their whole form. They are of the same idea as a frequency (pattern), and answers are drawn to us through resonance, then absorbed by us as induction (experienced), and integrated to form coherence as a shift in vibration through the incorporation of new information. Anytime we wonder about something, we become magnetized with the whole idea and we set a process in motion to find the answer in everything around us. Spiritual DNA – Our Souls Signature for Creating Reality

Physical DNA, which operates not only according to the same laws that govern all of life on the physical plane, but also to the laws of the spiritual or energetic realm of the mind. Not the mind as a product of brain function, as many people believe, but the mind as the subtle electromagnetic field of the body, also referred to as the soul. Just as physical DNA as a combination of information is used to generate the body, giving it very distinct genetic characteristics and behavioral tendencies, which are further developed through family dynamics of people who share the same DNA, the soul is comprised of energetic information as memory. The fully integrated memory of the soul maintains its basic structure as a paradigm formulated out of accumulated memory.  Experiences as  memory accumulated from multiple lifetimes gives the soul its basic disposition, temperament, and tendencies, which are continuously evolved through the experiences it acts to co-create and attain by how it enters into relationship with the body as corresponding (of the same frequency or nature) memory, which evolves it through the new attributes and emphasis it produces.

This soul memory, unlike genetic or hereditary memory of the race and culture (bloodline), doesn’t give us specific physical characteristics, though it does maintain energetic tension within the body which alters the physical appearance and potential for illness and disease manifested through energetic tension as a form of “programming”, but it’s the memory that forms our personal signature and the stories we tell by how we live our life and form our personality and identity. In terms of “soul expression”, biography forms our biology. The souls vibration or internal nature can be recognized through the story we naturally start telling from a very young age. Our personality is fully developed as the combination (all of life comes from combinations) of hereditary and individual (soul) memory. A new variation is formed out of the series of relationships that take place and as we begin forming our identity with our body and life conditions through adulthood, we steadily evolve our soul through continuous adaptations that alters and modifies our mental paradigm.

This soul memory as a mental paradigm that regenerates itself within a new body is what we commonly refer to as karma. Not in the sense of good or bad, or as independent behaviors as many think, but rather as patterns that produce much larger overall effects in terms of the perceptual filter it forms that determine how we interpret the events of our life to give them meaning. The meaning we give things forms a “theme” out of which our “life story” begins naturally formulating through our formative conditioning, which we begin cultivating early in life by how we naturally react to what happens to us, and what qualities the events of our life and the behavior of others activate within us that become the basis for our experiences in the present. These overall life patterns that we’re imprinted with at the soul level, recreate the same themes as a story that we begin telling ourselves about things that forms our reality, how we create our experiences, and how we behave (create outwardly) as a result.

Our spiritual DNA as soul memory produces the same perceptions and tendencies, the same “type” of thoughts and emotions, which naturally lend themselves to begin telling the same type of story about things as a means of making sense out of it. How we interpret things to give them meaning is how we begin developing ourselves through our own soul expression. As we begin expressing the same tendencies, we develop our personal reality out of the same mind-set or paradigm. This mental paradigm is what we carry forward into each succeeding life as an accumulative effect based on how it was evolved through each life experience. We start each life with the summation of all previous lives that form the basis of our mental paradigm, which sets up and initiates the same overall patterns as a “life theme” that determines what body (DNA) we resonate with and the natural circumstances our conditioning provides us with, that we then experience as “happening to us”, while at the same time possessing the mental filters and producing the behaviors that cause it. A life theme is usually something like not being loved, not wanted, not good enough, betrayal, abandonment, rejection, and so on. We then act out these themes at various levels throughout our life through numerous relationships. We attract to and pick the people who are of the same nature as we are and who will participate in acting out the same reality, giving us more of the experience we’re programmed with, and whose behavior can be readily interpreted to “mean” it. Then, through our interaction we simultaneously produce the behaviors that will cause it.

Example: if abandonment is our theme, then issues around abandonment are constantly being stimulated in us, both consciously and unconsciously. As they’re stimulate and brought forth in us we form behaviors around them, both as actual dynamics and behaviors designed to compensate or protect us from it, as well as the ones that initiate it. We readily engage only with those who have the same theme as a dynamic, and will act to not only abandon us, but respond appropriately to being abandoned by us. Then anything, any form of behavior or gesture that can be interpreted to mean we’re being abandoned, is how we experience it, while simultaneously abandoning them in the same way we imagine we’ve been abandoned as a retaliation or defensive mechanism (cause and effect). We play all roles in our theme simultaneously as the attitude and behaviors that result in us being abandoned, and respond in kind by abandoning them. Like always begets more of what’s like it. We don’t recognize our own tendencies when we do it to others because we tell ourselves a different story about what we’re doing and why that makes it seem different, or we do it unconsciously as a behavioral tendency that we do without direct awareness, that others perceive as us abandoning or not wanting them, and they respond in turn by abandoning us.

We continue living out of this same theme as a set of dynamic behaviors, some of which we’re aware of and others we’re not aware of, through all of the relationships in our life (parents and family, dating or marriage, work, friends, etc.) usually without ever realizing that we’re the ones producing it by the memory as a “thematic pattern” that we’re programmed with. We then, after creating many experiences of being abandoned and abandoning others (before they abandon us), begin identifying with our own self-perpetuated experiences, and our entire behavior as a style or way of being, is always acting out “abandonment” at all different levels of our life. We form our identity through the stories we tell about ourselves and others, and become thoroughly conditioned by that story, and therefore honestly don’t know how to tell a different story. When we try, we feel awkward, clueless, don’t know who we are or “how” to be, feel like we’re not being ourselves, phony, inauthentic, and so on, because everything about us and who we’ve created ourselves to be is based on telling that story. In this way, we can live our whole life out of the same karma as inherent memory, or several lifetimes for that matter, usually without ever realizing that that’s what we’re doing.

So our soul’s memory as our vibratory frequency forms the dynamic model of our mind as our mental programming. Our memories become the basis for our mental filters, which produce the perceptual patterns of our mind as an interpretation that determine “who” and “how” we become. Our mental paradigm forms our soul’s signature by how we express ourselves through feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Our soul’s signature is the story we’re always in the process of telling by living it, and the people and situations we attract and enter into relationship with that are programmed with the same dynamics and will participate in co-creating the same type of story with us. Those who are programmed with a different type of story than we are, we can’t relate to, don’t feel compelled towards, or have an affinity with, and in many cases never really even come into contact with.

This continues as a self-perpetuating motion until we become aware of the fact that no one tells us what to think and how to feel, but us. Even as children we are always the ones creating our experiences by how we interpret things to give them meaning, and the stories we begin telling ourselves in an attempt to make sense of things, which acts to shape us by way of our own creation. Once we become aware of our own tendencies and how we’ve formed our identity around and out of them, and are truly willing to let go of our attachment to our story, we can begin learning how to tell a new story, and transform our lives as a result. Like all things, we can only consciously work with what we’re aware of. Through self-awareness, we begin realizing our own unconscious tendencies and can decide what we want to do instead and willfully act out that decision in a disciplined manner. It’s only through self-awareness and using our power to self-create that we can resolve our karma by breaking the unconscious patterns that govern our life, and intentionally form new ones that are more productive and creative, instead of detrimental and destructive. We have to begin taking control of our own mind and using our will to form our experiences with a sense of intention and purpose, and begin telling a new type of story that will systematically transform us into a new type of person.

Personality, Identity, and Ego – Our Main Tools for Transformation

The personality, identity and ego have a tendency to be used intermittently, and their actual meaning can remain somewhat obscured or vague. This may be due to the fact that they “emerge out of each other” as a natural growth process of becoming. While our personality is related to our bodily consciousness or subconscious mind, and is developed in a completely unconscious (automatic) and spontaneous way in childhood, our identity naturally begins emerging out of or as an extension of our personality when we move into adolescence, and begin building a relationship with the outside world beyond our close knit family unit, and begin thinking for ourselves. As we begin problem solving and reasoning, and as we begin developing our sense of self by what roles we naturally take on and begin playing in group situations, we begin consciously developing our identity through the choices we make, what we’re willing to experiment with, and by how we feel when having certain kinds of experiences. Though in most spiritual scripture, the term “ego” is the same as “identity”, in our modern usage of the idea, the ego has become associated with forming our identity out of an association to purely material things, and is more accurately referred to as the “false ego” or “alter ego”.

 
Our personality gives us our basic characteristics and tendencies as natural behaviors and way of being in the general sense. These develop naturally as children based on the relationship we form with everything around us and how we’re stimulated through a cause and effect, action – reaction type of process. Once this initial stage of development has taken place, it sets the basis for the next stage of development to spontaneously emerge and begin taking shape. As we form relationships with other people, activities, ideas, situations, and so on, more of our inner self is brought out and expressed by how we interact, what we say and do, what roles we begin naturally taking on, what parts we begin playing in a larger whole, and how we sense ourselves through our own experiences. Some ways of being we like, and so we develop them by moving deeper into them, others we don’t like, and so quit doing them while trying something else. Our teenage years are about experimenting with our ability to create ourselves, and as we approach and move into our twenties, our basic identity is in place as far as how and where we see ourselves, what roles and situations we naturally gravitate towards, and what relationships we natural form through resonance. As we create our experiences, we identify with them, and they serve to shape us in terms of our being.

 
This process of identification continues as we move through life, and the ego is naturally formed as an extension of our identity based on how we begin forming our identity around material aspects that we use to form our self image. As we dress a certain way, we feel a certain way, and form it as a part of our personal style. As we drive a certain type of car, we get a sense of ourselves by way of the car as an image we begin forming of ourselves. The house or apartment we live in is related to a certain neighborhood, social and economical status, racial group, etc., and fashions our self-image even further. As we move through life we’re steadily accumulating material possessions and playing certain roles that we continue to identify with and become the basis of “who we are” as an image we form of ourselves, and we become dependent on them. We enter into various relationships that bring out certain qualities in us, and make us consistently feel a certain way, and we sense ourselves by way of these feelings, and they continue to fashion us.

This aspect of our identity built out of material possessions and our desire to acquire more, or the need to begin exercising control over others through the status we achieve by way of material possessions, forms what is typically referred to as the ego. The ego is a false identity and self-image that produces a false reality that becomes a delusion, because it’s temporary, always subject to changing, and can be taken away or lost, which would cast us head on into a full fledged identity crisis. We wouldn’t know who we are or what to do without them. It would lead us grasping desperately for any form of security we could find. We would be out of our element, in a brand new position and situation with no memory to fall back on, and no longer possess any real form of power and control. When we identify with the material world, we bond ourselves to the material plane, and become “mortal” in nature in the sense that our “self” dies with the body, and our soul seeks life in another body in order to continue living.

 
In most spiritual traditions the term “identity” and “ego” are considered synonymous, and have essentially the same meaning. Our identity is the faculty we use to function and operate in the outside world as the roles we naturally play. It’s only within Christian or religious applications that we find ideas of “killing or destroying” the ego. In spiritual traditions, every part of the whole is a valuable and necessary part, and plays a key role in the overall development of the soul within the body. Every aspect of being plays a specific role in our whole being. You can’t kill or destroy any one part, without simultaneously destroying or disrupting all parts. The idea around the ego as identification with the body and material world is to “transform” it. We can transform it through intentional use of our mind and what we choose to identify with. Whatever we identify with we align ourselves with and draw on as our basic source of power – our inner self or true being – or an outer source by identifying with material possessions that we use to create an image of ourselves in place of who we really are. We use this false image to present ourselves as being important and superior somehow, not through our “actual” character void of material attachments, but by flaunting and over valuing our material wealth.

 
To transform the ego is to change what we associate and identify with. If we choose instead to identify with our Higher Self, the spiritual world or God, then we move into being one with our true identity that always comes from within and is based solely on “who and how” we’re being in any moment. It doesn’t rely on attachments to the material world, and is a source of strength that we possess no matter what our outer circumstances are. We begin operating out of our center of being in terms of our true nature, which remains consistent and is available to us all the time, and can never be taken away from us by another, unless of course, we allow them to. By always drawing on our inner source of invisible powers, we become associated with our spiritual essence, and nourish our immortal self, which transcends the death of the body and remains intact in the invisible realms of the spiritual plane.

The secret of our ego / identity is that whatever we associate with, we become like in nature. By associating and identifying with something, we move into it and merge with it, embody the same qualities, and take them on by expressing out of them, creating our experiences of ourselves, and shaping ourselves by way of them. We alter our vibratory frequency by working directly with our identity. Whatever identity we employ and exist out of, determine how we’re being in every moment and what type of story we act to naturally tell. Our identity is our character which forms all of our behavior, and how we enter into relationship with everything else. When we’re getting our identity from outside means, we’re always in the process of trying to control and manipulate them. We form strong attachments to outcomes and how others need to be in order for us to be okay. We’re literally being controlled by the very thing we seek to control. When we shift that mentality, and draw only on an inner source of being, it doesn’t matter what others do, and we have no need to quest after power, because we already possess it.

 
To identify with our Higher-Self is to focus our attention on “states of being” as qualities of consciousness. We embody and become those qualities and express through them to create in the world by how we enter into a new kind of relationship with it, and act therefore to directly influence it. Instead of saying that when I dress a certain way I feel confident, you become confident as a way of being regardless of how you’re dressed. You ask yourself, what does it mean to be confident, how would I feel if I was confident, and how would I act? What would my posture be? How would I think and talk? You develop the idea of what you’d have to be and do to “appear” confident. You then model those behaviors, practicing being that way, which makes you feel that way. If you continue to intentionally model being confident, by pretending to be, it starts becoming natural and not only acts to completely transform how you think and feel, but how you act naturally to influence other people by how it changes your “cause and effect” relationship as a natural interaction that takes place between you. In this way you cultivate that quality within you and it becomes a natural part of you. As you begin feeling, thinking, and being confident in all areas of your life, it transforms your identity by how you sense yourself and what kind of person you are. Whatever you allow to express through you, you become the same as.

 
When we develop ourselves by cultivating inner qualities we synthesize them into our being, and they remain a part of our eternal self. The quality of consciousness we possess creates the nature of our experiences which become the memory that makes up our soul. Our soul is built up and developed by the memories it acquires through the experiences of the body. At the death of the body and the material possessions we acquired, only what is an essential part of ourselves are carried forward and maintained. Our sense of self based on our body and our position and possessions, dies with the body. By identifying with the material world, we resonate with it, maintain a strong connection to it, and fail to ascend. Because we bond with our material identity, we continue to reincarnate on the lower planes of the Earth, and fail to utilize the power of our material existence to grow ourselves internally by consciously developing our character to a virtuous state and a higher level of vibration. When we identify with the spiritual plane, we form ourselves to be like it in consciousness, resonate and bond with it, and naturally ascend to it after we shed our material existence.

Love, Equilibrium, and the Power of the Imagination

The Law of the Hexad

While all forms of sacred geometry represent universal laws that govern multiple interlaced dimensions of the spirit (invisible forces), soul (formed consciousness), and matter (ethereal substance), and lend themselves to only being understood through individual interpretation, which is a unique creation to the person interpreting it, and where every interpretation is different in some way based on the perspective taken and the knowledge of the person doing the interpreting. But because geometric shapes represent laws, which, is the scientific language of spirit, we can use universal models in order to form a working idea of the operations indicated in terms of application or utilizing the knowledge in the practical sense to create within the material world.

 
Symbolic language of philosophical mathematics as universal laws is the cosmic language that requires intuition to discern accurately. Not intuition void of or in contrast to logic, as many think, but as a holistic way of perceiving that forms the foundation for logic as its most practical aspect. Sacred geometry demonstrates a series of interrelated relationships, with the most basic being that of the mind structuring matter, demonstrated by the invisible inner space, forming the relief of the outer material structure, whose outline repeats the inner shape as its outward overall shape. While spirit may be seen as taking the shape of it’s container as a neutral force with no desire or attachments of its own, organized into its initial form by entering the soul which directly inhabits the material body, giving it its nature which determines its behavior, in fact, the spirit is what structures the very container that it then inhabits and operates.

 
The Heptad, Hexagram, or Sexagram are different names given to the same basic six pointed star or shape, represented by the number 6, is comprised of six equal parts structured in a balanced manner, as all geometric shapes are. The properties of “6” can best be thought of as the culmination, much like a growth process, of 0 – 6, where laws spontaneously emerge from each other, in a synchronized fashion of unfolding, while still containing the potential of the laws that will naturally proceed out of it. 5 bring us into the idea of mind over matter as the basis for regeneration, as the minds ability to direct and shape the 4 elements of the natural world, which also possess psychic mind-like properties. Because laws emerge in pairs of opposites that are complementary aspects of the same idea and operation, 5 brings us into the idea of regeneration of the formed world represented by 4, and 6 gives us the process for doing it. The symbol of the Hexagram is made out of two interlaced triangles with different orientations, one pointing up, and the other one down, forming what’s traditionally called the star of David. The triangle represents the mind which has a triple or three-fold nature, as dual aspects of the One. The single or greater mind exists in dual and complementary aspects of itself. Each interrelated part of the whole performs different functions at different levels of consciousness, each of which is also three-fold in nature. The 3 in 1 law is the primary law of the mind or vibration represented by the triangle or pyramid. The pyramid, as a square base with four triangular sides, represents the material reality (4) that is formed out of the mind (3). It shows us that our experience of the outer material world is a direct reflection of our inner imaginary world as the structure and nature of our mind, which is our vehicle or perceptual lens for perceiving the outer world.

While some interpret this to show the connection between the higher mind and the physical or lower mind, to be more precise, it demonstrates the relationship the soul forms with the lower-bodily mind, and the spirit of the higher Divine mind. For this reason, the Hexagram is the symbol that represents the soul of man. As human beings we have two souls or basic natures. The divine soul is the medium or vehicle that connects spirit as pure consciousness with the lower, material world. The 6 as interlacing triangles represents the principle of “love” and sexual union as resonance and sympathetic induction which is what binds the two spheres together to form a single whole. Love is the principle of resonance that forms a connection as a desire for itself in another, and seeks to unite with the object of its desire. What we love we desire and our desire is the gravitational force that pulls the soul into the body where they fuse together and operate as a single unit (form coherence). We can only love what we understand and relate to. We only truly understand something from the intimate perspective of “being it”.

 
The relationship indicated by the Heptad is that of “lovers”. The relationship of complementary opposites is the masculine and the feminine energies which unite by entering into each other, becoming as one, and operating as a single unit. In the creative sense of the mind, the Hexad represents the unification of the conscious and subconscious minds with the higher mind of our divine soul. As humans we have two souls which give us two natures, and two distinctly different conscious functions. This again, demonstrating the fundamental law of the One existing in polarity as two separate aspects that act to stimulate and complement each other to perform the necessary functions that blend two levels of reality into one. The inner with the outer, and the upper with the lower. As humans we are composite creatures, and have an animal-soul, and a divine soul. This is often depicted as the devil on one shoulder tempting us with vices, and an angel on the other shoulder encouraging virtues.

While our divine soul never fully incarnates in the material realm, it does produce, operate and sustain the dual and complementary aspects of the subconscious and self-conscious minds of our material existence. Our subconscious mind, which is both instinctual and passive in nature, meaning it doesn’t have a will of its own but receives suggestions as commands from an active source, gives birth to the conscious mind as the identity of the body, that has the power to create through choice and free will, and direct the lower instinctual nature in order to use it as a vehicle for self-creation to produce its own individuality. The conscious mind exists in an active-passive relationship with the subconscious mind. The subconscious, like the soul, is a medium between the higher conscious and the personal conscious, and acts as a passive receptor for the will of both. The subconscious is programmed through suggestion which it readily takes in, visualizes and imagines as an experience and uses in place of instinct as memory to produce natural behaviors that are creative in nature.

 
The higher conscious which communicates telepathically through vibration gives the subconscious suggestions through dreams that are living realities of emotional intensity that the subconscious perceives as “actual experiences” and uses in the same way it uses all memory, as a template for creating more of the same type of experiences while producing automatic behaviors. The self-conscious mind, which is our awake, active and thinking mind, has the ability to intentionally program the subconscious mind and willfully create by way of it, but only by entering into proper relationship with it, and giving it the programming information in the language of the subconscious as an actual experience. The conscious mind speaks to and directs the subconscious mind by giving it suggestion as an imagined experience. Because the imagination is used to create all experience, whether actual or made up, in order to form a memory which it also replays through the imagination as a means of continuing to use the memory to create more experiences of the same nature as the memory, the imagination is the vehicle through which we communicate through multiple dimensions and aspects of ourselves. We take an idea and shape it into a full sensory reality intensified by emotion, and telepathically communicate it to the subconscious mind as an actual experience of reality. The subconscious mind then readily takes it in as an actual experience and uses it in place of memory to superimpose it over our outer reality as a perceptual lens, which sees, interacts with, and recreates more of the same type of experiences.

Love and sexual union indicates the relationship the conscious mind needs to form with the subconscious mind, in order to use it as the means for creating our desired experiences and wishes. This relationship, as indicated in the form that represents it, works both ways, and if the conscious mind doesn’t know that it can direct the subconscious mind and use it as the means for creating chosen experience, then the subconscious mind directs and runs the conscious mind through emotional states that control our thinking and the imaginary scenarios we run through our mind. Love is magnetic and draws into itself what it loves. By loving ourselves, we embody the conscious state of love, and being love, we harmonize both aspects of ourselves to form a unified whole that bridges the inner with the outer, the subjective with the objective.

 
By loving ourselves, meaning existing in a loving state, we make decisions that are best for our whole being. Because of this, 6 represents health (body) and healing (mind) as achieving equilibrium as a harmonic balance between mind (conscious) and body (subconscious). Not as done to us or for us by an outside force or entity that intervenes on our behalf, but as we do unto ourselves. We work with our own subconscious mind through a loving attitude that comforts, persuades, and convinces. The most basic motive governing the subconscious, instinctual mind is self-preservation, so only by suggesting ideas that are pleasurable, health promoting, safe, and in present tense as an actual experience, do we elicit the cooperation in fulfilling our wishes, rather than instigating a fight or flight response that intentionally works against our intentional directives.

So the process of mind over matter comes by bringing the 3-aspects of the mind into a resonant balance that harmonizes them. All development comes through a response of the inner with the outer, as demonstrated in the Dyad of the Vesica Pisces. It’s the feminine natural response to the masculine which readily takes in his seed and creates life with it by fashioning it with her own body (matter) that brings ideas into actual form as the reality that allows the experience of them. When the subconscious and conscious act in unison and cooperate in creating a unified idea through a form of intercourse, motivated by love for each other, they produce offspring that’s a combination of both in a new and varied form. By introducing a seeded idea into the womb of the subconscious, shaping that idea into a living form in the imagination, provides it with the template necessary to regenerate more experiences of the same nature. The soul merges with the body and creates itself as the body. While the soul has the ability to direct the body consciousness through awareness, making conscious decisions, and willfully directing the actions of the body, it has to first realize its creative ability, and resist the temptation of the bodily mind, which is moved and determined by its emotions and passions, which tends to control the will of the conscious mind instead. This relationship and co-creative ability is a two-way street, meaning, it works both ways as indicated by the shape itself as triangles moving in different directions.

 
Through a process that virtually amounts to meditation and self-hypnosis, we have the ability to take control of our life and soul’s development, and direct our lower conscious mind by reprogramming it with virtual memories that it uses as the vibratory frequency for attraction, and the perceptual lens for seeing and creating more of the same type of experiences. The sixth chakra of the body, referred to as the third-eye, which governs the imagination as the unification of both hemispheres of the brain, which correspond to the subconscious (right hemisphere) and the conscious (left hemisphere) mind, provide the basis for conscious creation. A further correlation is made between the heart (subconscious) and the brain (conscious), as dual aspects of the same thing that bridge feeling with thought, that create an internal imagining as a sensory translation that forms what we experience as our outer reality, which is produced by our inner reality as the very structure and function of our mind.

vesicaThis idea of a dual aspect forming a series of unification’s is inherent in all of life as we know it. Whereas the Dyad demonstrates the relationship between the inner and the outer as an interaction of our inner consciousness with itself (same vibratory nature) in the external reality, the Hexad demonstrates our relationship between the upper and the lower as a complete submergence of consciousness into physical form. The soul fully inhabits the body and becomes one with it as a means of existing and creating within the material realm. The soul fully experiences itself “as the body”, and therefore has a tendency to mistake itself for the body. This relationship is so intimate that there’s no immediate sense of separation, and the lower body-consciousness of the animal soul, which is mortal and subject to dying, becomes the identity of the eternal and immortal soul of man, who not only unconsciously develops himself to be like an animal, unconscious and emotionally driven to habitual behaviors, but also experiences death of the body as annihilation of the self and soul. Through this fundamental state of mistaken identity and failure to develop the soul’s creative capacity within the body, it condemns itself to the darkness of ignorance through a fundamental lack of self-awareness.

 
So the hexad is providing us with the creative process for using our conscious mind to direct and reprogram our subconscious mind so it will cooperatively serve to regenerate experiences of a higher level of consciousness. We can use our imagination in a creative way to produce virtual memories that give the subconscious mind a creative template for connecting to that same vibration and quality of consciousness in our outer environment bringing it into our conscious awareness as a natural event. We can reprogram our subconscious mind to natural states and the natural behaviors that are a product of those states. We can give it the virtual memories to produce our perceptual lens that determine our everyday perceptions of reality. We can use the higher aspects of ourselves to reprogram and redirect the lower aspects which are responsible for producing our experience of our outer reality. We can cultivate the inner state as a quality of consciousness that will determine what we attract and naturally enter into relationship with in our outer environment.

 
Through this formula we are provided with the creative process for unifying our minds and creating a life of beauty, joy, and harmony. We can resolve all inner conflict and the residual affect of our conditioning by reconditioning ourselves with memories of a desirable nature. We can control our development, not by manipulating the outer world of “effects”, but by altering our inner world of “cause”. Instead of being determined by others and our environment, we can draw on and form our sense of self from within and use it to impose a direct influence on others and our environment. We can take back full control of our own soul development through right use of our mind and bringing all aspects of ourselves into a harmonious agreement as a unified state.

The Unified Theory and the Law of the Mind

While science tends to say that it still hasn’t discovered the “unified theory of Everything”, or the single law of Nature with which all natural phenomena can be assessed without exception, its as if it fails to recognize in the most basic sense the very law or apparatus that makes the perception of all things possible. All arts and science and the material world as we know it is “mental in nature”. All perception, awareness, and natural phenomena are a primary function of the mind. Not what some have been taught to think of as a brain function, but rather as the energy field that not only operates the brain and body through the neurological system, but animates, structures, and holds together all forms of matter that make up the natural world. Nothing exists unless it’s perceived “as” something. The mind is the conscious source that generates all reality as we know it. Every science there is, with no exception, is a process of thought and conscious awareness. In fact, what we call the objective outer reality of separate and interactive things, may be the fabrication of our own individual mind, that produces our waking reality in much the same way it produces realities in our sleeping dreams.

The law as a unified theory that science is always on a competitive quest to discover, is in reality an essential part of themselves postulating the very questions that drives its search to discover its own true nature, the mind out of which all things emerge as an interconnected whole. Without consciousness, reality itself wouldn’t exist, because there would be no awareness of it. Even with all our modern day scientific knowledge and technology, the only way we have of knowing whether of not something “actually exists” is if “two or more people appear to be seeing the same thing”. In the most basic sense, every individual is forming a unique and varied perception of the same outer, objective elements or events. No two minds perceive exactly alike. In fact, their perceptions outside of containing the same universal elements as a generic idea, are completely different, and often don’t even resemble each other.

This “unified theory of everything” that sciences gropes in the dark to find, is the very basis of their very being. It’s the fact that energy and matter are different aspects or degrees of the same thing. Energy and matter are equivalent and interchangeable as correspondences of each other. The primal substance of matter as light (photons), is a product of vibration as movement that produces the appearance of a solid substance. Vibration as invisible forces that become what we call physical reality by organizing light into three-dimensional shapes that have an ordered and formulated set of attributes and properties that animates it with distinct functions and behaviors, is consciousness itself, out of which everything as we know it emerges and is formed out of, then decays and blends back into.

Consciousness as the universal mind is ALL. Everything that we can see, hear, feel, smell, taste, and experience as real is consciousness itself, perceiving itself in everything else, acting on itself in others, and creating a sense of itself as something specific through the very nature of its thoughts and feelings. Consciousness is not only the light forms we call material reality, but it’s also the invisible space that organizes it, sets the stage for it to emerge, and holds it all together. The world as we know it is a product of our own thoughts and feelings. When we render ourselves “unconscious” by subduing the conscious aspect of outer awareness, everything ceases to exist and we are void of experience of any kind. Nothing exists without a conscious mind to perceive and experience it. So the basic nature as the “oneness” of all existence is the mind in its universal and individual state that exists on multiple levels, scales and at varying degrees throughout the cosmos.

The mind of the individual is the invisible energy field that surrounds, permeates, and inhabits the body, and contains a certain combination and measurement of consciousness. The group mind is formed as a larger mind of shared consciousness. Mass consciousness is the combined consciousness of a species or kingdom. All material objects, both organic and non-organic are accompanied by energy fields as the active and creative life giving force of that object. This energy field of the mind or consciousness is also referred to as the astral or Akashic field. The Earth has an astral field as its atmosphere, which contains all the consciousness of the life forms that inhabit it also referred to as the instinctual or morphogenic field of the collective unconscious. All of it is based on the same principle of consciousness at different scales and levels of existence.

The first law of Universal Laws, is the law of the Monad, represented by a circle with a dot in the center, the same symbol that represents the sun as the center and life giving source of our solar system, is the Law of Mentalism. All is Mind. The substantial reality underlying all manifestations and appearances known as the “Material Reality” or the “phenomena of Life” as matter and energy, perceivable through the five senses of the body, and the higher sense of intuition, results from the perceptions formed by the Mind. All physical reality is a mental creation. The universe exists in the mind in which we all live, move, and have our being. There is considerably more to the greater Universe than the human being can perceive and know of, that’s outside of information obtained from our five senses, which is only tuned into and capable of interpreting a very small amount of the total information available. All laws that systematically evolve out of this primary law are laws that provide us with the means for using our own individual mind to transform ourselves and the reality we naturally experience and partake in. By changing our mind, our entire experience of life and what we act to naturally perceive changes also. All reality as we know it within this narrow plane that exists as a parallel aspect of a much greater realm beyond our ability to perceive it is all a creation of the mind. The mind, which is an invisible field of vibrating energy, often perceived as “empty space”, is the unified theory of everything, without which, nothing would exist. Spiritual (Hermetic) Sciences has known this for thousands of years, and its philosophical science is based on it. All new discoveries are simply rediscovering the same ideas and laws, viewing them through different models, and giving them different names. How we Form our Thoughts – The Role Suggestion Plays in our Daily Lives

I often get asked “can everyone be hypnotized”? Or are there some people who can’t? What this shows me is that most people don’t understand what hypnotism is or how our mind naturally operates by way of it. A better question would be, “is there anytime we’re NOT being hypnotized”? Many people spend the better part of their lives in a constant state of hypnosis, being basically unconscious of how they’re being influenced by everyone around them, and how they’re systematically “given” thoughts, that they then adopt as their own, personalize them by how they imagine them, which simultaneously modifies their paradigm by incorporating them. These thoughts then become our own, and we use them to program ourselves by way of them by simply thinking about them. Our thoughts, as our internal dialogue is the most basic form of self-hypnosis. We program ourselves by way of our own thinking. In order to understand how this works, all we have to do is look at what hypnosis is, and what laws of the mind it operates by, and then learn how to recognize those same processes as they operate in our daily lives.

 
All hypnosis can be thought of as the primary means through which a thought as a suggestion is introduced into the mind which is receptive to it, meaning, there’s no form of resistance to it. We have two aspects of the mind that are always operating in tandem to create our experience and turn ideas that are introduced into it into full fledged inner realities by imagining them. The subconscious, which is the powerhouse of the system, is programmed and operates out of memory and produces all our natural behaviors by regulating our emotional state which is attached to memories of various sorts. As emotions are stimulated in us, we reference memories associated to those emotional states and use them to perceive our outer situation. The subconscious is passive and receptive, which means as long as information is delivered in its language as an imagined reality with strong feelings or emotional content, it doesn’t resist, argue against, edit or analyze the information, but simply accepts it as an “actual reality” that it then utilizes like an actual memory producing a whole series of behaviors out of it that act to produce it as an outer experience, while simultaneously forming our perceptual lens to include the idea, connecting us to that idea in our outer environment.

The self-conscious aspect is the “thinking mind” that forms our internal dialogue as what most think of as our “thoughts”, that are a form of self-talk, and acts as the gatekeeper to the subconscious by examining and editing everything to decide what’s allowed in to take hold, and what’s resisted or declined, and therefore prevented from taking hold. Whenever we’re in a relaxed state and have no strong objections to the information being received, we are in a passive state, and readily allow ideas in. Likewise, whenever information is delivered with a strong emotional component, especially fear, the emotion overrides the logical aspect, and is instantly taken in and allowed to take hold. Emotion is like a hook that seats the idea in the psyche where its then “dwelled on” and thought about extensively. The emotion married to an idea is what determines how we develop that idea in our imagination through the meaning we give it. The meaning shapes the story we tell about it, and the emotion intensifies it. Through this process all memories are produced by emotional states of some sort, and the emotion activates the memory associated with it as our perceptual lens that restructures our outer objective reality into a personalized subjective reality by how we interpret it. Memories are an interpretation mechanisms that provide us with instant realities as a means of creating consistent types of experiences based on them.

 
The primary forms of hypnotic induction that most commonly take place in our daily lives is various forms of entertainment (especially ones that come as movies or virtual images with music and sound), researching information (with a sense of anticipation), shock or fright of some kind, experiences that have strong emotional impact, and mental entrainment that comes from a strong feeling of familiarity or resonating with someone or something, being seduced, and of course, the most powerful of all, falling in love or being mesmerized by someone or an idea about something. Naturally, fear causes us to close down, stop, avoid, move away from, or hide in some way, and love, being compelling, draws us towards things with a desire to become one with them. Both extremes, love and fear, control our thoughts and we form internal images that first produce and amplify those feelings, then act to intensify and increase them, giving us more of them. Our thoughts act as suggestions to our subconscious mind which converts them into imaginary realities that it perceives as being real or actual experiences. Because the subconscious operates out of memory and forms behavioral patterns based on memory, it turn imaginary realities into actual memories and creates automatic and natural behaviors out of them. When this happens we are living a great deal of our life out of an illusion of our own making.

The basis of hypnosis is the willing intake of an idea as a suggestion that has a strong sensory component that invokes a strong emotional response, intensifying it, that we take into our mind and begin developing it by imagining it as an actual reality or conceptualization that makes it believable, forming what the subconscious mind mistakes for an actual event or outer reality. An idea given to the subconscious as an actual life-like reality with strong emotions (making it seem actual), it interprets the same way it does an actual reality as an outer experience, and uses it as memory to form its programming. The imagined memory programs the subconscious mind with new patterns that become our perceptual lens and connects us to those same types of emotional patterns in our environment, magnetizing us to them. By imagining an idea with strong sensations, incorporates that idea as a modification to our overall mental programming as our paradigm, giving you a new way of perceiving things and new behaviors for creating and cooperatively participating in that reality as an actual experience or possibility. We naturally begin anticipating more of those same types of experiences, setting an expectation for them, and being able to create more experiences out of them by how we perceive and interpret things. We only pull out of any situation the elements that can be reshaped into our pattern as a storyline by how we interpret it to give it meaning and significance and use it as the basis for telling our story about it, while ignoring anything that doesn’t fit in.

 
If you simply sit and observe your own thoughts for awhile, you’ll notice that most of them came from some form of outer source. Even the ones that form your paradigm as the thematic storyline you’re always telling yourself about things, probably came to you through something that was said to you, some movie or video you watched, the lyrics of a song, an article you read, an idea you studied, or something you learned in school. Most of our thoughts come as suggestions from others that we continue developing by how we think about them and evolve them through various life situations or stages, and acquire them as our own, constructing our paradigm by way of them.

The Nature of the Monad – “The Primary Law of the Mind for Self-Creating”

The Monad can be thought of as a sphere of consciousness that’s energetically charged (programmed) with specific types of information as its potential for expression as a process of growth and development. The Monad represents a mind-field as a morphogenic field that flows in an electromagnetic toroidal pattern that’s circular in nature. It’s like a seed that contains all the information as its potential for expression, that’s activated in a synchronized fashion as a growth, development, and evolutionary process that it undertakes systematically. This “information” can be thought of as a form of vibratory DNA that’s not fixed in itself, but exists as a frequency of oscillating vibration that forms a dynamic matrix that also undergoes a constant form of evolution based on how it bonds and blends with the body and everything in near proximity of it.

As we blend energetically with everything around us we exchange properties and qualities as the acquisition, build up, and dissolution of consciousness. The mind starts its evolutionary process through the relationship it forms with the body that it also designs and then inhabits, by programming it with the memory of the soul that shapes our basic personality and sets the basis for all of our conditioning. Once the initial structure has been set in place it then develops and evolves the original formula of memories by exchanging, absorbing and assimilating, and discharging information as consciousness with others and its environment. Every influence is the experience of a vibration outside of us that’s stimulating and calling forth in us the equivalent vibration, then developing it through the interaction that takes place forming a new pattern as a behavioral dynamic that reformulates our basic make-up based on new emphasis and amplitude or intensity of qualities. The most basic form of evolution comes by keeping us in a constant state of harmony with everything in our outer environment where we live as a dynamic part of a greater whole.

Only a certain amount of our potential is activated and developed into patterns as living dramas or interactive dynamics by our formative conditioning (childhood), while others remain latent and unused. This unused potential can only be activated through an outside stimulus or need of some kind. This unused potential exists as qualities we possess, while often not fully realizing we possess them. Under the right conditions we can willfully access our latent potential, or we can recognize it and “decide” to access it and intentionally develop it by using it in a conscious manner within our life, which strengthens it through a form of continued conditioning. The well-developed aspects of ourselves (character traits) that have already been formed into patterns (interactive dynamics) through how they were expressed also continue to transform into new patterns based on how we use them or apply ourselves in new ways, forming new behaviors that tell new stories and create new experiences that simultaneously transform our identity by reprogramming us.

Intelligence as living information or consciousness, is vibration as patterns that are always undergoing a constant form of transformation through the basic law governing the Monad of resonance (with like energy outside of us), sympathetic induction (absorption and synthesis that modifies the vibration into a new vibration as a combination), which ultimately forms coherence producing a new pattern as a physical expression or behavior. This oscillating, living pattern of the torus is doughnut shaped and expands from its center outward blending with everything in its immediate environment and absorbing from it whatever is of the same frequency (range of vibration) as it is. It then turns back on itself and draws the information gathered back into itself (its core), integrating and assimilating the new information to upgrade the entire system, while discharging all energy that no longer vibrates in compatible range, eliminating it from the system as obsolete, and then expands again, repeating the process.

This constant respiration of energy is going on all the time at the unconscious level as an energetic interaction with everything around us. This same integration of an infinite number of biological systems is happening throughout nature and all of life simultaneously as a dynamic, living matrix or correlated information. When we lack awareness of spiritual law and our spiritual-energetic nature, we undergo transformation without any real awareness of what’s happening or why. We exist in a basic state of unconsciousness and as a result fail to direct and determine our own soul development. Instead of being self-determined, we are determined by others and the conditions and circumstances of our life which we imagine to be separate and apart from us.

By waking up, and becoming aware of what’s happening to us and by us, realizing the laws that govern our energetic nature and learning how to work in the world by way of them, we can begin consciously creating ourselves by determining what we blend with, take on, and become like, and of course, what we don’t! We can begin realizing how we’re being influenced by everyone and everything around us by recognizing how we feel in relationship and response to everything. By recognizing what’s happening within us at any given moment in terms of how we feel we can realize what’s being activated and developed in us because of them. We can become aware of what we previously engaged in without any real awareness. We don’t ever really acquire anything from others or the outside world, it simply acts to “awaken and make active” the same qualities in us.

We’re always modifying our vibration as our consciousness through a natural and ongoing energy exchange between our inner and our outer environment. While this is natural and happening all the time, as we become aware of it we can begin learning how to regulate what we allow to enter us and what we allow to stimulate us, rise up and take hold in us, and how we express through the perceptions, feelings, thoughts, and activities it forms as a result. We can stop the stimulus before it takes hold. By recognizing the “nature” of whatever it is we’re being  stimulated by we can make a decision regarding it. We can gain an accurate awareness of how certain people serve to develop us to be “like” them by altering our vibration as our state-of-mind to match theirs. Where we take on, begin feeling, thinking, and acting out of the same quality of consciousness and perspective, and as a result, become the same “type” of person while acting out the same type of dynamics. We can realize which people, situations, and environments produce positive effects, and which ones produce negative effects, and make decisions for our own development accordingly.

We can realize that outside influences act to grow and develop us by way of the nature of their influence, which we are actively absorbing and blending with, allowing it to modify our vibration by taking on the same qualities and attitude and forming the same perspective, just through the nature of the interaction itself as a relationship. Through self-awareness of our own mind as our energy system we can intentionally “choose” which relationships we maintain and nourish, and which ones we either remove ourselves from completely, or only maintain in a casual and periodic fashion. We can begin staying awake in our own life and taking a more conscious approach to our own growth and development by intentionally forming relationships that will act to grow us in ways that we want to be grown. We can begin creating by way of natural laws and impose a direction on our life by becoming the captain of our own ship sailing the stormy seas of self-discovery, realization, and actualization of a higher ideal that we use as the means of navigating the unknown with a sense of faith born out of confidence and a deep pervading belief in our own abilities.

Spiritual Healing – “Life Crisis serves to Transforms Us”

When we ask the question “what is spiritual healing”, while all spiritual ideas are dynamic and multi-dimensional (have layered meaning), we would have to first begin by bringing definition to the terms being used as ideas that imply the processes involved in working intentionally with them through awareness. Human beings are basically what we call 3-part beings, consisting of body, soul, and spirit. These three aspects are always working in harmony with each other as our mind-body system. Our spiritual essence is equivalent to our mind, our body to our habits and behaviors, and our soul to the combination of the two as the “experiences” they create in unison.

The spirit, which is equivalent to the mind, is largely our mental-thought oriented self which is a natural expression of our paradigm (model), while our soul is comprised of accumulated memory of our life experiences as a form of life-story or biography that we’re always in the process of telling by how we live our life. While these three aspects are always expressing as one, our spiritual aspect is causal as the mental paradigm we live out of, that’s a form of vibratory frequency as a biological tuning device that projects (puts off) and attracts (draws into itself) more thoughts of the same nature that are compliant (of the same frequency) with its paradigm (model of the world). Our mind is the invisible energy field that surrounds and permeates our body, that acts as a filtering mechanism for conceiving in the outer environment what matches it as thoughts and ideas that enter into it as a form of suggestion through resonance and sympathetic induction, which we experience as our own natural thought processes. We draw into us, become one with and integrate whatever is of the same vibration as we are around us, and as a result, undergo a constant form of subliminal transformation that’s subtle and gradual, creating variations that are based out of the same vibration as a life theme. We attract and act as a receiver for whatever elements around us that can be used to structure the same type of reality as a thematic story that gives us a consistent experience of our outer life as the reflection or direct correspondence to our inner life.

The soul, which acts as the medium that bonds the mind to the body and shares properties of both (the mind and the body), links ideas as feelings to the body through emotions that are associated to memories. The idea as a thought enters our mind, and is shaped by astral light in the imagination into a living reality as an adaptation of a universal idea (archetype) that’s used to form a personalized experience as a variation. The universal idea is modified by the body and personality, and the soul as a mental paradigm built up out of accumulated memory that’s emotionally based and acquired through all factors involved, such as: the individual, their maturity and level of consciousness, the conditions they exist within, their circumstances, situation, culture, era, and so on, that modifies the original idea as a kind of template into a personal experience. The idea as a feeling (vibration) forms a series of thoughts that are transmitted from the higher or universal mind and is receiver by the soul as the lower mind, where it stimulates (awakens) an emotion and a memory of the same nature in the soul-body (memory that’s unified) as a natural response to it, that are used to further modify the correlating idea into an experience within our current reality. This idea as a thought-form, matched with its equivalent emotion and memory, formed in the imagination as a possible reality or tangible concept, acts as a program or template for the body-consciousness to act out through the behavior the reality implies, as its physical (actual) expression.

Subtle Energy of the Mind
One way we can think of this is that the idea as it originates in the Universal Mind exists in a waveform of pure potential as literally billions of possible variations of a single idea or pattern, modified by how it’s adapted through the channel (person or body) it expresses through. Though it forms a variation, it’s still an expression of the same basic idea as an analogous correspondence. When it’s received by a local-individual mind, a form of selection takes place, and only one possibility out of billions becomes expressed as a personalized version of the greater idea.

Whereas in modern society we’ve been taught to dissociate the mind from the body, and many people don’t even have a clear concept of what the soul actually is, we associate the idea of healing with the ailments and manifestations of the body, and take the approach of healing the body by purely physical means. By repairing it, changing it’s chemistry through drugs, replacing parts with synthetic fabrications or transplants, often, without ever identifying or addressing the actual cause as a paradigm (structured pattern) of the mind, driven by emotion and beliefs of some sort that create behaviors which manifest as illness and disease in the body. Because we don’t realize that energy as consciousness manifests consistently through vibratory patterning, and that all physical conditions have a psychosomatic component as karma (memory) of some sort, we never heal at the emotional and mental levels, and the same pattern simply manifests in a new way, or the same disease remains active and is controlled instead by drug therapies that simply act to manage the symptoms. This tends to keep us hopelessly in the realm of affect, looking only for “causes” that are also purely physical in nature.

Feelings are Vibrations with Patterns Inherent in them

To heal at the soul-spirit level, is to become aware of whatever is working in your life at the subconscious level. It’s to gain self-awareness by realizing what moods and emotional states you embody and live out of, what type of thoughts you tend to think on a regular basis, what memories you use to tell your life story out of, and what type of internal realities you create as a result. These internal realities, as giving form to thoughts, infusing them with emotions that motivate action of some sort that are connected to them that shapes them into thematic realities that are offspring of the memories which acts as an organizing or composing mechanism, structuring our current reality into the same idea by how we perceive and interpret it, that forms life-themes. These themes are based on the meaning we give things, which shapes the story we tell about them. The story we tell means something about us, about other people, and about the way the world is. We are always creating 3-levels of reality simultaneously through the story we tell ourselves “about” things.

The energy we hold and are comprised of, that forms our thoughts, emotions and internal realities, are also felt as distinct feeling sensations in our body. These feelings have distinct qualities to them, and are associated to our inner energy system known as the chakras. Each chakra, located at different parts of the body, are associated with our major organs and endocrine glands, which effect natural processes of the body thru emotional states that are regulatory in nature. Our emotions, which are a response to our own thoughts or stimulus in our environment, arise in us as the hormones secreted through our endocrine glands that instantly alter our state by producing body chemistry. Our emotions are the fluid-like connection with the astral or instinctual plane that connects us with our surroundings, other people, animals, and all of Nature. The astral / instinctual fields of the physical realm of emotions have “patterns” inherent in them as memory or thought-forms that motivate behavior and produce realities as the expression of the emotion. Where ever we experience and hold these emotions in our body, effects the organs and processes associated with that part of the body, and over-time, manifest in some way, producing distinct symptoms, which give us a warning to a condition that’s forming in us.

Behaviors of all kinds are largely automatic in nature, habitual and predominately emotionally driven. Often, the emotions we engage in produce behaviors as their expression or as a means of coping somehow, that cause us to engage in activities that directly produce the illness and disease that we become afflicted with. Even when we know they’re “not good for us”, or causing problems of some sort, we have trouble giving them up because we associate pleasure and comfort of some sort with them. Because of our own mental and emotional ways of forming internal representations of things, we create a sense of pleasure with the very thing we need to give up, while creating a feeling of deprivation and suffering around the idea of quitting that behavior and replacing it with another behavior. Often, choosing to take the risk of known consequences, and act in a round-about way to commit a slow form of suicide.

The Healing Power of Awareness
Spiritual healing is basically bringing what is unconscious in yourself, into full awareness, where you can see your own tendencies as behavioral dynamics. You can begin observing your own mind, and in doing so recognize your own thoughts, feelings, and emotions, what you tend to focus on and imagine as normal everyday thoughts, and what you tell yourself about your own imaginings that give meaning to your life. The meaning you give things acts to shape you, others, and your perception of the world by way of the same story as a theme of some sort. This theme acts as a template for superimposing over the external environment in order to reshape it into your story by how you interpret it to make it mean something. Meaning is a function of our higher, creative mind. Things only mean what we say they mean.

Any unconscious tendencies as life-patterns (karma) or behavioral dynamics, are projected onto others and our environment, forming the perceptual lens we look through and what we see that matches it, that we then form a strong reaction to (resonance), that causes us to go unconscious (no longer present in the objective sense), accessing a memory (of the past) that’s associated with the emotion we’re experiencing (in the present), that becomes the basis for creating an illusion in place of objective reality, where we engage automatically, without awareness of what we’re actually doing through a reactive state. This reaction, recreates the same type of experience in the present of the memory from the past.

The emotional memory has a behavioral dynamic in it as a drama of some sort which acts as the unifying aspect that’s acted out with others who share the same type of illusion and participate fully by taking on complementary roles in acting it out, which is how we can recognize our own tendencies, by indulging in emotional reactions that always create the same type of experiences, that’s formed by a theme of some sort. These themes are ideas such as; not being loved or wanted, not being good enough, betrayal, abandonment, being deceived, rejected, and so on. Though all of humanity shares the same basic themes, which is how we act them out together, each new variation of a theme is produced by “twists in the plot” that comes about through unique combinations based on the individuals or groups involved and what situations or circumstances they’re being acted out in.

Self-Realization
Once we can learn to self-reflect and through introspection observe our own emotions, triggers, and habitual thoughts, and can begin recognizing the story we’re always in the process of telling of selves, we can “see” the “illusion” we’re living out of as an emotional reaction that first acts to produce, then maintain the illusion. Once we can “see” in ourselves what’s acting to control and jerk us around in our environment, and recognize the themes we live out of, just the awareness itself loosens the grip it holds on us. By “seeing” it, we separate from it, and can distinguish it as a false reality that we made up in our mind as a means of trying to make sense of something, or as a dynamic we became conditioned to and so tend to act it out through triggers of some sort without awareness of what we’re doing or why we’re exactly doing it. Through this self-recognition in our own lives, realizing our unconscious tendencies, they no longer cause us to go unconscious in response to them, and by remaining conscious, we not only fail to see (or react) them anymore, but realize we have a choice, and can act in a whole new way to the same stimulus, and produce a whole new type of experience as a result.

We know we’ve healed from an unconscious tendency because what used to cause a strong reaction in us, no longer bothers us. The same stimulus, no longer stimulates a reaction in us. We remain neutral and unaffected in its presence. The emotions being expressed in a situation no longer enter into us and activate that same emotion in us. Because we shift our vibration through self-awareness and the realization that it brings, we no longer attract “into us” the thoughts of the false reality, and because we’ve learned the lesson the illusion was teaching us, we no longer attract (react to) the people necessary to keep acting it out and reproducing the same type of experiences. In this way, we have resolved karma by no longer creating our life out of emotional memories as illusions, and break the pattern that bound us, freeing us to act out a new pattern that will act to tell a new type of story with our life. In this, we will act to attract new thoughts that produce new feelings that form inner imaginings that turn them into a template for expressing as a channel of expression that brings the inner reality into the outer reality as an analogous experience.

In this way we have healed at the spiritual level of the soul, which is memory based, by tuning ourselves to a higher vibration, that expresses as a new story, told with new types of people. We forget about the old thoughts, because they’re no longer naturally produced by our new state. We no longer tune into, access and act as a receiver for them. All memory is state based. When we are fluently involved in an experience, then our state changes, we move into a new experience, and we can no longer remember the old experience, much like waking from a dream, and as you move from a sleeping state to an awakened one, you steadily lose the memory of your dream, and what you do retain as residue gradually fades throughout the day. You know you’ve healed when you forget. When thoughts of it no longer comes to mind, and even when reminded and trying to recapture the memory, it feels detached, distant and no longer apart of us. As if we are seeing the memory as someone else’s life, a movie that we know intimately, but not as being in the experience itself, but as watching it like a movie from a detached position.
