The Art of Creating Yourself as a Higher Level of Consciousness

       The most notable difference between humans and animals lies in our ability to create ourselves in an intentional and deliberate manner. We all suffer from a common dilemma due to the fact that we’re multidimensional beings and manifest into the world through an animal-like body, and as a result, have what we call both a higher and lower nature. We’re all born as children into our lower nature where only our subconscious is active and dominant, and is what forms our personality through how we’re conditioned by others in our formative years. All of our formative conditioning, which is what forms all of our core-beliefs that later spawn a whole series of correlated beliefs as our “belief-system” and mental paradigm, is accomplished while we’re in a primary form of hypnosis.

       We don’t develop our conscious, self-aware mind until we enter adolescence, where our primary nature is already established and we tend to continue the process of being shaped and determined by others and our social environment. The self-conscious aspect of our mind begins developing around seven or eight, and becomes fully developed as young adults. By the time we enter our mid to late twenties our self-conscious mind is fully developed and we’re capable of assuming the responsibility for creating ourselves, yet often don’t know how because we’ve never been taught. Very few of us are ever taught how to use our mind and imagination in order to choose how we want to be, and then act to willfully create ourselves in a deliberate and controlled manner.  

       We don’t need to undergo years of psychotherapy and numerous healing modalities as a means of finding ourselves or dissolving the psychological wounds that prevent us from living a fully conscious and self-aware life. We can’t begin accessing our true nature as our higher self while we’re submerged in and still identifying with the conditioned consciousness of our upbringing, which was formed out of an unconscious and unaware state. As long as we’re living the stories of our youth by replaying selected memories over and over, continuing to identify with them, we remain locked in a prison of our own making. We possess the key to our own freedom, but usually don’t realize it, or don’t know how to use it when we do realize it.

Forming an Image of Yourself

       Throughout our life from around 12 to 14 years on, we begin forming our higher faculties which involves creating our identity. Our identity, or what’s referred to as the “I” or “I am” of the higher Soul is the most natural way we self-create in an automatic fashion. As humans we form a personal identity that separates us from others while still fitting into the group mind. It’s by way of our ability to choose and actively create our own style and identity that we begin forging ourselves through the experiences we create of ourselves. As we associate ourselves with others, we act “on ourselves” to create ourselves to be like them in some way. As we both like and therefore relate to someone, or dislike and fail to relate to them, we shape an image of ourselves in relationship with them.

       Whatever traits and emotional states the people we maintain relationships with have and are actively and openly expressing, serves to develop those same emotions and traits in us. All true creation as the act of producing a “new element” through a unique combination of qualities comes naturally as part of our development through our relationships. By combining two qualities that are of a similar yet unique nature, we systematically produce a third as a new way of being and functioning. As we enter into relationship with different types of people they serve to stimulate us in new ways that bring out different qualities and ways of being in us and we develop those qualities by way of whatever dynamic we play out through the nature of the relationship itself. In this way, qualities and dynamics are always intimately related. As we embody a way of being we naturally assume acting out the same type of dynamic we used initially in actively expressing it.

Unconsciously Creating Ourselves

       Most people go through their entire life creating themselves through their relationships and who and what they associate with or live in near proximity of, without ever realizing it. This is what an “unconscious state” is, you don’t have an actual awareness or realization of what you’re doing to yourself or why, because you do it automatically without having to “think about it”. Thinking as its being used here, is when we step back for a moment, detach from the idea and emotions involved briefly, and view it from a purely non-personal perspective where we move out of our “story about” things and are able to intuitively perceive the laws that are operating instead. We form a momentary evaluation of ourselves in terms of how we’re “sensing ourselves” as that type of person, and we decide whether or not we’ll use it as the means of continuing to develop ourselves in that way.

       From an unconscious perspective we view everything from within our personal awareness acquired through our formative conditioning where we began forming a story about ourselves and life in general as a kind of theme. This story, formed as a way of trying to make sense out of what was happening to us while not possessing the ability to view it in a detached and logical manner, formed the basis for our “life theme” that we then continue to live out of as adults. The unconscious mind is instinctual and emotionally driven, which means it’s the state we were in during emotionally intense experiences that formed the meaning they had for us that we then began identifying with through the story we told ourselves about it. Because our identity is formed out of the meaningful story we’re always telling ourselves internally through our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, we can have trouble changing because we find it too difficult to give up our story about ourselves. It’s through our identity that we know “how to be” in different situations. To give up our story is to not know “who we are”.

       In order to create something new and different you have to let go of the old and step into unknown ideas about yourself where you create yourself as a different “type” of person. The motivating force of the subconscious mind is “self-preservation” and maintaining the status quo. It creates by repeating whatever patterns as habitual tendencies it’s been programmed with. It does this by way of maintaining consistent emotional states, which tend to run our thoughts and imagination, making it very powerful and somewhat hard to manage. Our subconscious produces all of our natural perceptions and behaviors, and is the essential means for all forms of personal transformation as self-facilitated growth and development.

       What this tells us is that in order to truly change as a means of actively creating ourselves, we have to not only work with the subconscious, but we also have to “speak to it” in its own language. One of the problems people have is they don’t realize that not only do the two aspects of their material mind speak and communicate in different ways, but also play different roles and functions in creating the same thing. We only change and grow ourselves while in a particular body and personality by learning how to use our self-conscious mind to direct and influence our subconscious, which is what it’s actually designed to do. The means by which we do this is by realizing the natural laws that govern the mind and learning how to work intelligently with them in a cooperative and intentional manner.

Self-Creation and the Art of Transmutation

       While many approach this idea by imagining that they need a clean slate, this is never the answer. All intentional self-creation, which is only possible as a mature adult with a fully developed self-conscious (grey matter of the brain) mind, comes as transformation of an existing quality and character trait to another that’s of a complementary nature. Habits are never “broke” or simply stopped, but are instead replaced by better, more beneficial habits. The largest part of our being is conducted below the level of awareness and comes as a natural way of being in the world that we’re doing all the time, even when we’re not aware of it or making it a point to do it. You know when you’ve actually changed when it becomes a natural part of your subconscious mind and you no longer have to produce it in a thoughtful and deliberate way. It simply becomes a natural part of your awareness and perception of the outer world, and forms natural and automatic behaviors as a result.

       All transformation comes through the act of altering the “state” of something. We move something from an existing state and set of conditions to another, more desirable state. The basic principle for doing this is through a practical understanding of polarity. All things not only exist in polarity to everything else, but also in a polar state of complementary opposites that are an inherent part of the same pattern. We have to remove our attention from the outer appearance of things and direct it instead to the “inner nature” that’s acting to give it life and animate it with a certain type of character. We have to move from thinking in materialistic terms and perceive energetically (spiritually) instead. The outer appearance of a being is somewhat irrelevant outside of the fact that it’s produced in relationship with the spiritual being inhabiting and using it to express through. All personal transformation only comes by way of intentionally developing your character, which is what produces all of your perceptions, attitude and style of thinking, emotions, and correlating behaviors and activities.

Self-Reflection and Realizing Your True Potential

       In order to consciously begin this dynamic process of self-creation, we have to start by first becoming aware of what exists within us as latent potential. We all come into this world as a Soul that has a specific design. Our design is formed out of a dynamic matrix of qualities and characteristics, which are formed by the personalization of archetypal energies we share with all of mankind (zodiac), that are either active or dormant, and are developed to certain degrees and potencies through our formative conditioning as children. Through our childhood conditioning only some aspects and qualities are stimulated and brought out in us, and then developed into strengths through the dynamics being played out by our family and prominent relationships, and others remain latent and untapped. So wherever you are and whoever you’ve become at this point in your life is due to a certain formula of active and latent potential.

         Whatever exists in you as underutilized potential exists as a form of raw, untried qualities that were developed to different degrees in previous lives, and are available for expression and continued development in this life. Whatever hasn’t been brought out and developed in us through life events and circumstances can be actively “chosen”, and brought out through active use of your will, or you can consciously place yourself in relationships of various sorts that will act to naturally stimulate them and provide the dynamics through which you can develop them. In the same manner, qualities that we’ve been trained to express in negative and unproductive or destructive ways, can be transformed through self-awareness and consciously choosing to replace them with their opposing complementary aspect.

Creating an Ideal

       Like all acts of conscious creation you have to begin by creating a vision or symbolic idea of what it is you’re going to create. Your vision for creating as a form of self-expression has to be undertaken through a form of inspiration. All transformation comes as growth of some kind, and the idea you create has to require you to “grow into it”. We only grow through effort and striving, so it needs to be something you aspire towards that creates a kind of “labor of love”. All possibility for growth only comes by making latent potential and energies active and outwardly expressive. We can only grow what’s already within us as an inactive part of our nature.

       We don’t ever grow and transform ourselves by acquiring something that we don’t already possess. The only thing that can be awakened in us is what’s already there in a dormant and inactive state. So in creating an “ideal” of yourself as your best possibility, never look outside or for someone else to tell you how you should be. This is purely an “inside job” and everything you need to undertake a transformational journey to your higher self is within you simply waiting to be discovered and brought to life through realization, actively choosing it, and willfully embodying it as the means for expressing yourself in a different way. This is something that only you do to yourself. As an adult with a fully developed self-conscious mind, nobody else is ever doing anything “to you” without your consent and willing participation.

       Your “ideal” can be thought of as a higher, more authentic and true version of yourself. It comes through the decision to develop yourself to be the best you can be. It’s the art of bringing your full potential into an active and expressive state. It’s creating a model as a kind of blueprint or diagram for transforming all qualities that have been developed in a negative and self-destructive manner. It becomes the model of yourself that you use as the means of self-reflecting and realizing all the qualities and traits in you that need to be transformed in order to achieve your highest possibility for self-creating as your normal way of being.

       An ideal provides you with the means for recognizing parts of yourself you don’t like to acknowledge or own so that you can finally act on yourself to change them in whatever way you want to. Your ideal self shouldn’t pertain to purely physical goals in terms of enhancing your body or acquiring worldly success, but rather to your inner essence and the qualities you naturally possess that are “causal” in nature, and act to systematically produce the equivalent outer manifestation as your perception and interpretation of reality. Our inner nature (Soul) always produces the outer nature as a by-product or equivalent analogy.

       What we refer to as “qualities” are metaphorical and therefore universal in nature, and when embodied and used to express yourself, produce a certain “way of being” that naturally causes you to live a certain way by telling a certain type of story. Our current personality and identity are produced automatically through the combination and formula of active energies as qualities that work to produce our natural characteristics. By changing the formula being used to actively self-express, we change our inner nature and how we naturally are in the world, and we begin “sensing ourselves” in new and different ways. So the first step required to consciously create yourself is to develop an idea about yourself that brings a heightened sense of awareness to all of your inner qualities, gifts, talents, special abilities, interests, likes and dislikes, traits, values, and attitude and beliefs, in order to form an objective and unbiased image of yourself as you currently exist. Then form an image of how you’d like to be instead as the full expression of all your special talents and abilities.

       Our ideal should be something only we create and should serve to invoke a deep feeling of reverence in us as the means of achieving it. It should be comprised of qualities and ways of being that we respect, admire, adore, honor, and ultimately fall in love with. It should inspire us with feelings of beauty, love, and devotion in its creation. All Artists always create out of a love for their subject and the joy of creating as an “experience”. If we create it in a way that makes us feel hard-pressed to become it through a form of drudgery, where we struggle and suffer in some way, then we not only won’t accomplish it, but will come to resent and ultimately resist it. It’s the attitude we employ that determines our approach and method. Whatever feeling we embody as the means of creating determines the actual outcome that’s produced.

       The outcomes of all goals are determined by the feeling and experience we create in pursuing it. If your ideal doesn’t inspire you with a kind of unconditional love for its creation, then you either need to keep working with it or start over with a different attitude. You don’t want to make it unrealistic, but rather even more realistic because it’s something that lives inside of you as a possibility for your life. You should focus on qualities and character traits that you want or would need as a way of “becoming it”. It’s not the physical body as an “image” that you’re going for, but rather the “type of person” you become as a way of being.

       Once you have your ideal formulated in a specific way, you can use it as a rule or general guide for making decisions and creating in all areas of your life. It becomes the vision and focal point for your life that provides you with the means for directing all of your activities and making moment by moment decisions by asking yourself “who am I?” and how am I going to be right now in relationship with this? It provides you with the outline for producing a whole series of smaller goals as the process necessary for achieving it in a step-by-step manner. You don’t want to try and make too many changes at once because it can become overwhelming and may only act instead to scatter your energies and prevent you from concentrating. Most life changes come as a sequence of activities where one lays the foundation necessary for the next one to systematically emerge and take place. One of the most common ways we sabotage ourselves is by bringing to many things into the picture all at once that serves to create an experience of struggling, loss, and suffering as a result.

       You want to pick one quality, habit or tendency, or one area of your life that you want to transform, concentrate all of your attention and effort into creating that, and don’t move onto the next until it’s been thoroughly accomplished as a “natural part of you”. You know when you’ve succeeded in apprehending or transforming a quality when it becomes a natural part of your perception and natural way of being without having to think about it or put effort into it. This usually takes around 40 days or 6 weeks to accomplish by “building it into the muscle” as a spontaneous part of your nature and identity. Once it becomes natural and automatic it lays the foundation necessary for you to move on to the next goal.

       The secret to creation and transformation lies in self-awareness, making clear decisions from a fully conscious state, and concentrating your mind without distractions or going unconscious and losing track of what you’re doing. It comes by forming a “devoted practice” where you concentrate on a single idea for the period of time it takes to turn it into a habit as a natural way of being in the world. If you lose your focus and forget what you’re doing for several days because you get distracted and caught up in stuff, reverting back to a fundamentally unconscious state, simply realize and become aware of it, and redirect your attention back onto your goal and continue practicing. The more you do this the easier it gets and the longer you can remain fully conscious in your life. All life skills only come by way of consistent and devoted practice as a love for the work itself.

Realizing your True Higher Purpose

       There are very few things that give our life more meaning and provide us with natural motivation as a kind of passion and devotion than realizing what our true purpose in life is. While we may have several purposes in the general sense of life responsibilities that are born out of love and devotion of some kind, we all possess what we can think of as our main purpose that involves what we have come here as a soul to learn, bring into higher forms of expression, and use to grow ourselves in some way. Our soul’s purpose is recognized as an all-prevalent idea that comes completely natural to us and is what acts to sustain us through our darkest and most fear-driven moments, as well as what brings us a true sense of fulfillment and contentment in the accomplishment of overcoming life challenges and expressing ourselves in terms of our gifts and talents.

       Our soul’s purpose as the main theme that serves to shape our life as a whole forms the basis for other purposes we form that help us navigate stages of our life or that are set as phases of personal growth that are met and undertaken in a fully conscious and willful manner. The fulfillment of our purpose comes only through realization and making decisions in the most important moments to really apply ourselves to the best of our ability and even beyond what we thought we were capable of. It also becomes apparent to us through the administration of what we call “karma” (unconscious use of will to create) and the necessary path as a process of transformation for redeeming ourselves from what was set into motion as a cause and effect relationship through our own perceptions and actions.

The Nature of our Soul and Mind

       What we commonly tend to think of as our soul, is threefold in nature just like our mind is, because they’re ultimately the same thing, and function in identical ways through the same principles on different levels or planes of existence that form a hierarchical structure based on vibratory frequency that move from a higher vibration to a lower one in the manifestation of the same thing (idea). In a similar manner, each level of our soul exists at a different level of consciousness with a different kind of purpose and reason, which are all correlated in a way that can be played out together in a harmonious fashion.

       What we refer to as the “lower soul” is directly associated with our bodily existence as a higher animal-like being and is the offspring (produced and maintained by) of our higher, human and immortal Soul. The main purpose of our lower soul is survival, self-protection, and propagation of the species. It’s primarily unconscious in nature, instinctively driven through emotional states, and lacks any real awareness of its higher, immortal existence. The purpose of our lower soul usually involves family, children and loved ones, and providing for them while keeping them healthy and safe. The means for doing this usually involves our profession and how we make a living and the lifestyle we create through purely material and natural means.

       Our higher or “medium” soul is a part of the human kingdom, which exists on the plane directly above the animal kingdom of the lower soul, and is both mortal (physical) and immortal (energetic) in nature. Our human soul acts as a medium between our Over Soul and is what forms the bridge as a step-down process between higher and lower worlds. The primary purpose of our higher soul is to redeem itself from patterns created while in the unconscious state of the lower soul, and fashion itself instead to be of the same nature as the Super Soul. The main function of our higher soul is transmutation through the conscious act of self-creation. We are created initially through our formative conditioning while in a purely unconscious state. Our higher soul takes over the process of creating itself by becoming self-aware and using its higher capacities of the mind to impregnate the subconscious of the lower soul with ideas that it then acts to produce as a reality that provides the higher soul with an “experience of itself”.

       The higher, human soul is the creative aspect of us that witnesses and forms realization of itself around the realities it acts to indirectly create. It shapes itself through the decisions it makes by always asking itself “who am I”, and then producing the reality of that decision that provides it with experiences of itself. Through various acts of self-realization it makes decisions that it then directs the body to act out as the means of creating itself in an intentional and fully aware manner. This is the aspect of us that creates itself through association and how it identifies with its own self-produced experiences. Its purpose always involves transforming itself to higher and more virtuous states of being that operates through more of a universal identity rather than a personal one. As it transforms itself through constant self-expression of selected attributes and qualities, it simultaneously seeds the collective unconscious of the animal-soul providing the pathway as a vibratory frequency or mental state that becomes available for all those seeking a similar path.

       The higher soul resides fully within the astral plane of Light which is constructed out of multiple planes of higher and lower regions as specialized rates and modes of vibration. The lower regions of the astral plane are instinctual and emotionally driven, and the higher regions are intelligent and willfully driven. It acts to marry thought as an archetypal idea to the feeling sensations and emotions of a complementary nature (the thought naturally gives rise to corresponding sensations and emotions) in order to manifest the idea as a reality of the same nature. For this reason its purpose always involves growth as transformation that dissolves karma as unconscious creation and creates itself in a fully conscious manner through use of its higher capacities of self-realization, free choice, and will.

       The Super Soul or Over Soul exists in an “unformed state of pure potential” as a unified field of infinite possibilities. Its only purpose is to provide the substance and means for the human soul to use in order to create itself and always “works”, so to speak, for the benefit of all involved in a universal manner. It’s not “personal or individual” in nature, but is what forms all individuals and personal realities. It contains all of the archetypes as “whole ideas” (ideals) that are willfully drawn down into the Astral plane by the higher soul and formed (transformed) into personalized versions of the same idea through a continuous process of adaptation and modification. This is where we obtain substance as universal archetypes that we use to fashion our human nature as “mass consciousness”.

       Just as instinct governs the lower soul, archetypes as gods and goddesses that make up the Zodiac and Mythology govern the higher planes of creativity. This plane provides the human soul with what it needs in order to self-create in a deliberate and precise manner by choosing, embodying, and becoming certain qualities that form characteristics. All higher, human souls are comprised of certain combinations of the same universal archetypes in different degrees and potency. Its purpose is always universal in nature and involves serving mankind and the entire natural world in the most beneficial way possible based on how they use their own powers to self-create. When in our highest purpose as universal beings we realize we are the “caretakers” of Nature (and our body-soul) and live in harmony with all of life which originates from the same ultimate source.

       Naturally, these three aspects of the same Soul share a common purpose that moves the same idea from a universal and unified state down into an individual and personal expression as our purpose for transforming ourselves. Our soul’s purpose in the ultimate sense is formed by a metaphorical idea that’s played out simultaneously on all three levels in a congruent and harmonious way where one forms the foundation for the next to spontaneously emerge out of it. The purpose of the lower soul sets the stage necessary for the higher soul to gain self-realization and actively shape itself by utilizing the archetypes, qualities, and characteristics of the Supernal plane. Our lower soul forms what we call our “personality” (natural to all animals), which is developed through our childhood, whereas our higher soul forms our “identity”. Our identity is something that we create while in an adolescent and mature state.

       While the purpose of our lower soul comes in an automatic fashion through instinct to survive, reproduce, and raise and protect our family, or achieve material success of some kind, our human soul’s purpose involves using its higher capacities in a skillful manner in order to create from a self-aware and intentional state. As humans, our ultimate purpose is to develop ourselves to a higher state by “becoming one with God” (embodying archetypal ideals), and form ourselves to be divine and self-determined as a sovereign being. Our personality lays the foundation out of which we can deliberately create “who we are” as an individual through use of our higher, creative capacities in a congruent and harmonious way.

       Our main purpose as a human soul is to wake-up in the unconscious state of our lower nature and realize that it only acts as a vehicle and means for us to create ourselves, not the other way around. Most people live their entire life being determined by others and their life conditions and circumstances, and are shaped almost exclusively in relationship and response to others while unaware of their true identity and creative abilities. As long as we have practical responsibilities as the fulfillment of our lower soul’s purpose, it can prevent us from making the true decisions about who we are and how we’re going to be because of what it would mean if we did and how it would affect everyone else. This is why our spiritual path usually isn’t taken up fully until our kids are grown and on their own, and we no longer have the responsibility to care for loved ones. It’s only at this point in our life that we can make decisions for ourselves that don’t violate the free will of everyone else involved.

       This change in purpose from our lower one to our higher one, often comes through what’s called a “mid-life crisis”, or where what we built our identity around our whole life through a role we played in a certain dynamic, suddenly ends or changes, and we find ourselves feeling lost and without a purpose anymore. We no longer know who we are or what it is we’re meant to do. This is one of the most natural forms of transformation that we go through as the fulfillment of one purpose, freeing us to take up another purpose of a higher nature that involves our individuality as a soul, and consciously exercising our ability to create in a concentrated fashion, instead of as part of a group mind.

       At this point we begin asking ourselves who we really are when not being defined by our relationships and life situation. We begin stepping into a more universal role and make decisions in terms of what it is we want to contribute to life before we die. We move from shaping ourselves based on others to shaping ourselves based on our own ideas about our self. We begin looking at our own issues and habits with new eyes and addressing our own unconscious tendencies in order to transform them into a fully conscious awareness where our actions become deliberate and well-thought out and nothing acts to bind or limit us. We move from being almost exclusively focused on others to going within and focusing on our own nature and developing ourselves by way of our own hand.

Our Soul’s Design

       As a human, immortal, and creative being, we are born into this world with everything we need to fulfill our ultimate purpose. We’re all designed as a specialized pattern of natural desires, interests, gifts, talents, special abilities, attitudes, disposition, and temperament that provides us with the tools and means necessary for doing what we came here to do. Our higher soul’s purpose comes natural to us and requires us to actively utilize our full potential in order to achieve it while also moving through whatever is acting to prevent or counteract it. Our lower soul’s purpose, which is materially based, sets the stage that’s ideal for doing this. Our true purpose always requires us to move through our fears, character flaws, and false beliefs in order to actualize latent qualities necessary in order to create in new ways by transforming them.

       Our higher soul’s purpose can’t be fulfilled while we’re still nurturing and protecting our weakness and fears formed through our formative (unconscious) conditioning. Fear must be transformed by choosing to employ courage in its place, allowing us to move ahead in spite of our fears, and dissolve them as a result. Fear, like all emotions, when brought into our thoughts is an illusion whose only purpose is to stop and prevent us from doing something we want and need to do. Our natural weaknesses and shortcomings are what act to prevent and counteract our soul’s true purpose and we have to actively employ and exercise our higher capacities of realization, reason, choice and will in order to turn them into strengths as creative tools. We transform them through awareness and the practical application of universal laws that provide us with the processes necessary for transformation.

       Our immortal soul’s purpose is to ultimately redeem itself from a prison of its own making produced out of past errors in perceiving and by facilitating its own process of growth and transformation. It requires us to step into our true identity as creative, conscious beings and shape ourselves by way of our own mind. This is a manifestation not built with the hands or by way of others, but by the soul that’s acting to direct the activities of the body and material world. This purpose and the process it presupposes are intimate and highly personal in nature and don’t ever require other people to accomplish. Its purpose is to become autonomous as a sovereign being that’s not being controlled and determined by others or the natural forces of the material world.

        The process of personal growth involves transforming vices into virtues in order to become more “god-like”. It seeks to transform itself through the vision it creates of itself that acts to heal the trauma and conditioning incurred by the lower soul by witnessing it from a higher, detached awareness. The awareness as self-realization is what acts as the means of transformation because it brings what’s operating in your life just below the level of awareness into the light where you can see it in a clear and more accurate way. Through awareness alone, which alters our perception, it loses its grip and we’re no longer caught up in the illusion of it. As you become aware of the false nature of it, you realize simultaneously that you actually have a choice as to “who you’re going to be and what reality you’re going to create” instead.

       The ultimate purpose of your higher soul is to step fully into the awareness of your ability to create from a fully self-aware state, and make new, intentional decisions that you then act out in a deliberate way as the true means of creating. We can only break patterns of the past that we were continuing to faithfully act out without direct awareness by forming an objective and non-personal awareness around them. By becoming aware of what previously eluded us, we step into a true position of actually being able to create in new and more beneficial ways. Once we’re able to clearly see an illusion that we played an active part in, we continue to see it any time it’s being played out around us and we recognize when we’re being triggered somehow in order to continue acting it out.

Higher Forms of Self-Awareness

       Our true purpose in life is to wake-up in the dream we’ve mistaken for being real and realize that it’s actually something we’re doing to ourselves. While in our higher nature as a sovereign soul we realize that nothing is ever being “done to us by another” in terms of how we experience things, and that we’re always the ones creating ourselves in relationship and response to others. Once we become aware of this and recognize how it is that we’re doing this, we can begin creating our experiences and ourselves by way of those experiences in a truly responsible manner, and act “on ourselves” (our lower nature) to redeem ourselves from past karma by making new decisions formed by our higher self from higher states of self-awareness. By making new decisions in the midst of what used to be automated patterns, we can replace them (transform them) with new patterns that are a product of our true identity and more accurately demonstrate our ability to create ourselves from a fully self-aware state.

       Our higher soul’s true purpose is to heal itself of past errors born out of an unconscious conditioned state by utilizing our power of self-awareness and realization, our ability to make new decisions for our self and our life, and employ willpower to act them out. By achieving a state of true self-awareness it automatically breaks the patterns that bound us to lower consciousness where we created in a predominately unconscious, emotionally driven manner, shaped by the group mind and the emotional states and behavioral dynamics we were trained to by others.

       Once we realize how we’ve been creating our experiences out of a conditioned mindset and automatic behaviors, their hold on us begins dissolving and we can see them clearly as the illusions they are from that moment forward. Once we’re in a position of creating in an aware and intentional manner, and we’ve acted to transform our weakness and character flaws into strengths, and dissolved the unconscious patterns that bound us to a life of delusion, our true purpose can be realized and fulfilled. We gain a true realization that the lower soul of the body is merely a vehicle and instrument for the higher soul to express and self-create rather than what acts to create and determine our higher soul.

Summary

       The lower soul of the body is what forms our “personality” as a member of the animal kingdom through genetics and formative conditioning. This part of us only “knows” what it’s taught and lacks the ability to create by “thinking for itself” (inventing in an original way). The higher soul of the human kingdom is the “I” in the equation and its purpose involves creating its own identity as an individual. When we remain in a primarily unconscious state, our identity comes as the offspring and natural evolution of our personality and is formed by whatever situation we find ourselves in and what roles we naturally take on and play as a result. In order to employ our higher consciousness and ability to be self-determined, we have to realize who we are in terms of how we’ve been created by others up to this point, and accurately identify what it is about ourselves that we need to transform in order to take over our own creation from a fully self-aware state. We do this by actively employing the archetypes and qualities of the Supernal plane, and by transforming vices as weakness and addictions into virtues as strengths that are of a higher morality and immortal in nature. The Higher soul isn’t concerned with material possessions and accomplishments, but only of “who we become” by way of our material body, possessions and creations. It’s only our identity as our self-created individuality that transcends the material plane at the death of the body.

Introspection, Self-Awareness, and Transforming Yourself by Learning how to Work through Your Own Tendencies

       One of the ways we keep ourselves locked into a dis-empowered position in our own life is through the tendency to believe that other people are the ones who “do things to us” beyond our control, and by always focusing on the other person in a situation while making what’s happening all about us somehow. We get emotionally triggered by something someone says or does and we instantly react by going unconscious and playing out the natural tendencies we’ve been conditioned with. We focus our attention on what we imagine the other person is “doing to us” by how they’re being and a whole preconditioned script begins playing out in our mind as our “perception” of the situation. We glaze over the object reality and what is in fact a neutral event and replace it with a subjective reality of our own making that we imagine to be real. The story we begin running through our mind forms our interpretation of it as an illusion born out of our past conditioning. Anytime we’re “reacting”, we’re instantly overcome with an emotional state that “takes over”, and we begin playing out our “issues” of the past in the present. We replace the current reality with a belief that shapes how we experience it through the story we tell ourselves about it that gives it meaning.

       There’s always a fundamental paradox playing out where we tend to focus all of our attention on the other person or external events and circumstances going on, while simultaneously telling ourselves a story that makes it all about us. Because of this natural tendency we form a belief around the idea that others are deliberately doing things to us that are beyond our control. They “make us” feel the way we do. Then, whatever they say about or to us we take personally and form a belief about ourselves out of the story we tell ourselves about it that explains, describes, and justifies it, and as a result, we use it as the means of shaping ourselves. This is the most natural way we’re shaped by other people without realizing it. We form a belief that others can attack, hurt, traumatize, betray, put us down, and basically control and determine us through their actions. We do this usually without ever realizing that this is actually something that we’re doing to ourselves in response to them.

Looking at the Nature of Reactive Behaviors

        All reactive behaviors come from an emotional trigger of some kind that instantly transforms us to an unconscious state where we begin acting out and creating the reality of our “issues”. It’s our conditioned behavior and model of the world that forms our perceptual lens and gives us an “instant reality” that we use in place of the current reality. As we’re being stimulated somehow, our mind immediately references all memories of the same feelings and emotions, and associates them to the current situation by saying “this is the same as that”. We give the present the same meaning as the past, which produces instant behavior through the story we tell ourselves about it, and act to produce the same type of reality as a result. This is how we continue to repeat the past in the present by playing out the same patterns as behavioral dynamics. Our past experiences give us a kind of preformed template as “instant interpretations” that don’t require us to think about them in order to form new patterns instead.

       We always frame any situation as a means of interpreting it in a way that allows us to continue telling a certain type of story. Our beliefs form perceptual filters that we use as a filtering system for abstracting and only utilizing small portions of information available in any situation, and organize it in whatever way we need to in order to continue playing out the reality of our beliefs. If someone points it out to us, we usually respond by explaining it in a way that justifies our right to feel that way. We’ll literally argue and defend our right to feel the way we do because we create it in a way that feels very real to us. We don’t realize that we’re actually making it up and creating it through our ability to perceive it.

How to Transform our Experiences

        All transformation and growth is something only we can do to ourselves and comes by way of self-awareness that allow us to see our own tendencies as a form of delusion and work through them to produce new types of experiences. We give our true power away to others by allowing them to control us, or we try to use our power inappropriately by trying to change the other person or situation instead of ourselves. We think that by changing the outer circumstances we’ll change our inner feelings about it. We imagine that in order to be alright we have to change the world around us that’s “making us” feel that way. We become heavily invested in trying to change other people’s perception, attitudes, and behaviors so that we don’t have to change our own, yet, in truth, we only have the power to change our own. So we approach and attempt to solve one delusion by creating another one designed to remedy it.

       We only step into our true power as a creative being when we begin turning our attention inward and self-reflect as the means of recognizing how it is that we’re always acting on ourselves to create all of our own experiences. We can realize that every situation that “triggers us” somehow is also providing us with an opportunity to become self-aware in the present moment where we can actually change it. We can begin this process by simply observing ourselves as the means of realizing how it is that we create our own internal state as our reaction to something. No one is causing us to react (unless we remain unconscious), but we’re the one that’s actually creating our reaction as an internal process. We can only work with what operates in our life at the unconscious level by forming awareness around it. It’s through the awareness that we can see the actual process taking place, realize how and why we’re doing it, and then act to modify it consciously.

Self-Reflection and Awareness

       It’s probably advisable to begin this process of transformation in situations where you’re only being mildly triggered so self-control is relatively easy, and practice faithfully until you get good at it and it starts becoming automatic. Then work your way up to more difficult ones. All change is produced in baby steps that are consistently taken. As you realize you’ve been triggered into what is normally a reactive state, refrain from reacting and instead turn your full attention inward. Notice where in your body you’re feeling the stimulus, what sensation it’s giving you, and what emotion it’s acting to invoke in you. As you concentrate on the feeling, relinquish all need to try and control what’s happening, and simply give yourself fully to the feeling inside of you allowing it to take on a life of its own. As it begins playing out, notice what it seems to be about, and what it’s showing you about yourself. What past experience are you naturally associating with it in order to give it meaning of some kind. The meaning you give it is what acts to shape your story about it which is what forms your experience of it.

       Let your story play out while simply witnessing it from as detached a perspective as you can. Don’t associate to the experience by “being in it, having it”, but rather view it from a dissociated position as if you were another person looking at it from the outside. This moves you from a subjective state to an objective one. We can only see the truth of a situation when we’re not directly experiencing the emotions involved. It’s the emotion that’s associated to the memory itself that acts to initiate the whole process and pulls up the memory in your mind’s eye as the filter used to look through in order to perceive the current situation to be the same as the past. Emotions produce illusions out of memories as a false reality that we use in place of the actual reality of the present moment in order to create the same type of experiences.

       As you begin forming a clear idea around what your reaction is all about, refrain from judging yourself in any way or going into some kind of dialogue that’s designed to explain and justify it. Whatever we argue to defend is ours to keep. This is how we stay locked into delusions of our own making. Then allow yourself to notice that they’re not doing anything “to you” and that you’re actually the one doing it through automatic processes of your own mind. Realize it has nothing to do with you unless you “make it” about you and your past. Allow yourself to realize that you’re creating a state of being upset, insulted, hurt, offended, not being worthy, betrayed, lied to, abandoned or not wanted, and so on. No one is “making you” feel that way, you’re actually the one doing it to yourself by the memories you’re using as the means of interpreting it to mean something. Nothing has meaning in and of itself outside of the one we give it.

       All you need to do in order to break a pattern as an unconscious tendency is to become intuitively aware of it. The only reason ideas of our past continue to be played out in the present as the means of creating our experiences is because they’re operating without our direct awareness. Reactive behaviors literally keep us in an unconscious state. By becoming aware of what you’re doing to actually produce the reaction, is all it takes to loosen its grip. The emotional trigger that produced the reaction begins subsiding and fading to the point where you can easily control it, and it eventually subsides altogether. Once you’re able to remain calm and stay fully conscious, and you’re no longer taking it personal or making it about you somehow, you form a different way of looking at it where you can intelligently choose how to respond and interact. In this way, you quit creating your life out of your past conditioning and can begin creating in a more deliberate and intentional manner. As you begin consciously creating your experiences through a calm inner state, you step into your true ability to transform yourself to a new level of being.

Sacred Geometry – The Tetrad and the Universal Law of Creation

All spiritual knowledge exists as laws, and Sacred Geometry is the symbolic language that’s used to illustrate and communicate these laws. Universal laws are the invisible forces and primordial intelligence of the natural world that operate as “processes” that organize and animate the physical forms that make up the “reality” of the material world. These laws are not the forms themselves as such, but the energetic intelligence that forms the holographic substrata (astral matrix) that gives rise to the phenomena of the gross realm of creation. The Tetrad or Tetragrammaton, represents the material form that’s created by organizing the four elements of the material world that are directed and shaped by the higher capacities of the mind. When we learn how to properly interpret the laws represented by the Tetrad, we find that it provides us with “basic instructions” as the creative process necessary for creating our self and our reality.

All Universal Laws operate as a process of growth and development where one law systematically emerges out of the active expression of the one that precedes it. As one unfolds it lays the foundation necessary for the next one to spontaneously unfold as a natural sequence. All laws are represented by a series of correspondences that not only have geometrical shapes associated with them, but also numbers, letters, colors, archetypal forms, sounds, qualities, characteristics, and cohesive ideas that are inherent in certain “psychological states”. Our state of mind or “soul’s mood” is the vibratory frequency that contains both a pattern in it’s potential state and a self-organizing mechanism for assembling it through a process of synchronistic unfolding. 

All natural phenomena as we know it rises naturally out of our state-of-mind as our mood. How we feel mentally determines what we focus on, think about, what emotions we experience in relation to our thoughts, which memories we play out in our mind through association, what type of story we tell ourselves about something, and so on. Whenever we’re looking at one law, such as the Tetrad here in this article, which is represented by the number 4 (with the value of 5), we know that it comes as the full expression of 0 through 4, while still containing the latent potential of laws 5 – 9, which unfold out of it in a synchronized fashion as a natural growth process.

Each law represents a single aspect and specialized operation as a stage of development in the dynamic unfolding of an even greater creative process. A law is a organizing force that shapes an “idea” into a “coherent field” as a kind of “seed” for impregnating the womb of the subconscious. Whatever idea we inject into our subconscious is imagined as an actual experience of reality, and “magnetized” with sensations that produce an equivalent emotional response. It’s the “reaction” (movement) that causes it to begin vibrating at the frequency of the emotion that it birthed. As it begins vibrating at a certain rate and mode, it resonates with the light around it,  and organizes it into structured patterns that outwardly display distinct characteristics and express through specialized behaviors.They come as an interaction between spirit and matter as the mind and body working together as different densities of the same thing to produce what we experience as a coherent material reality.

This “reality”, which is a product of the “greater mind” operating through the “individual mind” on different scales, planes, and magnitudes simultaneously through a dynamic process of adaptation and modification, is first produced as a kind of “original creation” that’s purely unconscious in nature (based on the universal memory of the collective unconscious) and shared by the entire natural world and all its inhabitants. As we impregnate our own subconscious with an idea, we impregnate the entire space around us with that same idea, because we all share the same subconscious mind. What we refer to as “our” subconscious is also the group mind of the “collective unconscious” and what we call mass consciousness which all acts together harmoniously to produce the same reality as a theme or metaphor. This reality of mass consciousness provides us with the “objective foundation” as a starting point for creating a personal reality unconsciously through our very perception of it, and in a conscious manner by learning how to operate the higher capacities inherent in our own mind.

When we understand how the universal laws of the mind work, we can work by way of those laws to create our self and our experience of reality, which are both simply symbolic outplays and projections of each other on smaller and larger scales and at higher and lower levels. When we fail to recognize and understand the laws that govern our own mind and reality, we often work in a way that contradicts them and we create in a haphazard and random way as a result. We experience our lives as though we have no control over what happens to us or why. We don’t realize in the ultimate sense that we are actually the one creating our experience of our self and reality through our “inner character” as an idea we’ve cultivated about ourselves and our natural ability to perceive that same idea in our outer world.

We form “ourselves” out of our own thoughts and emotions as a kind of archetype or “mental model of the world” that acts as a theme for producing both our inner and outer reality as a continuous part of the same idea played out at both the personal and universal level at the same time. This law is illustrated in the primary 3-in-1 Law of the Monad, which contains the seeded potential as a full expression of all laws that it acts to give birth to as a growth process of spirit “becoming” fully actualized in material form. Thought produces the physical form as a light-matrix, and sensation as emotion produces the feeling that animates it, which blend together to produce a certain “type” of experience. Whatever type of experiences we produce with our mental paradigm, we also experience our “self” through, and we shape our identity accordingly. Whatever we wrap our identity around we use as the means for creating ourselves through the story we live as the expression of the relationship that’s formed.

The Monad – the Mind, Soul, and Self

All of life as we know it is the result of “combinations” of polar opposites that form a dynamic relationship as new variations of a universal idea or theme. The Monad is represented as the combination of 0 and 1 (nothing and something) as a sphere or circle with a dot in the center, the same symbol that’s used to represent the sun as the center of our solar system. This can also be seen as the “dual state” of light (photons as the essence of matter) that exists simultaneously as both a particle and wave, or as the individual mind located within a material body and the outer reality of the universal mind that they experience themselves through as a cohesive version of the same metaphorical idea. All material forms are accompanied by a holographic electromagnetic field that forms its “etheric double” as a kind of “spatial blueprint” or 3-D model that’s used to inform, maintain, and animate it, giving it life temporarily.

The Monad represents the human soul as a “medium” that exists on the “Astral Plane” and serves to draw down and absorb ideas from the higher spiritual plane of archetypal ideas in order to create itself “as” a reality. Through a dynamic process of mental imagery, vibration, sympathetic resonance, and coherence, the human soul creates in an infinite variety of ways that are unique and diversified, yet still a part of the main, overall theme of humanity. The Monad is the combination of spirit as laws and principles that serve to imbue the personality of the body with attributes and characteristics through the medium of the mind, which acts to create the body out of archetypal memory, and then inhabits it in order to express as a material being. All creation within the material plane is produced by a combination of three corresponding planes and levels of the mind all vibrating in harmony as extensions of each other.

The Monad contains the life-force energy that causes a single cell to regenerate and multiply while undergoing a process of differentiation in order to specialize and play a unique part in an even greater unified whole. Through the process of Mitosis, a single cell regenerates itself in order to produce trillions of cells that all share the same basic information in different combinations and degrees necessary to perform different functions as a part of the same being. While we think of the body as being comprised of trillions of individual cells, the fact is, it’s actually comprised of “one cell” of coded information that regenerates and replicates itself trillions of times. This is the same principle that operates the DNA of our body where we form new combinations through the feminine and masculine aspects of the same genetic code and produce a unique variation as our offspring based on what’s turned on and turned off to produce a unique formula comprised of the same basic information.

The Monad regenerates and separates from itself forming the “appearance” of itself as another or as an outer reality that’s of the same nature (idea as a theme) on a larger scale. There’s never a total separation from ourselves in the real sense, but more of a projection and expansion of the inner that blends with itself in the outer, connecting to the core or center of being in everything else, transforming how it appears to us. The center (dot) of one exists on the periphery (outer boundary of the sphere) of the other. This act of self-regeneration, represented by the energetic substrata of the mind and matter intimately woven together as a whole, forms both the core self of the individual as a certain “type of person”, and the outer reality as the type of story that person acts to naturally tell by how they live their life.

The outer world as what we have come to call “reality” is produced and only exists through our perception of it. As we “look though” our mind as our mental paradigm, we can only “see” what matches it in everything else. We can only comprehend what can be constructed, described, explained, and given meaning using our mental model. We act unconsciously to shape the appearance of the outer world and everyone else to be of the same nature as we are. Our mental vibration forms a thematic pattern as a paradigm that serves to stimulate and bring out the same qualities as complementary opposites in everything around us, setting the stage necessary for expressing through a story we tell ourselves about things as a way of producing our experiences. As we create our inner experiences of an outer reality, we sense our self through those experiences and simultaneously create ourselves by how we associate and identify with our own story about things.

The Dyad – The Womb of the Universe    

The regeneration and projection of the Monad produces the Dyad, which creates the medium between the inner and outer world that gives rise to all of our thoughts and imaginings. The Monad is fundamentally androgynous in nature, and separates itself to produce the feminine (inner) and masculine (outer) aspect of the same thing necessary to “procreate” by producing offspring as new combinations and relationships with different aspects of ourselves in everything else. Our inner world of thought and emotions shaped into a reality in the imagination forms our perceptual lens that we use to view the outer world, and the outer world in turn acts to stimulate and influence the thoughts and feelings that form our internal world. All reality is produced by a self-perpetuating expansion and contraction of the “self” that acts to create itself on different scales within multiple planes simultaneously.

The inner and outer world exists in relationship with each other as a form of space-time continuum, represented by a straight line that connects the center (dots) of both spheres of consciousness as a shared inner nature. This horizontal line that connects the material bodies of both the self and others, as the inner that produces the outer, represents the material plane as being a product of or simulated reproduction of the mind (soul) creating it. We act on the outer environment to influence it into a new form by re-configuring it (resonance) by how we first view it and then interpret it, altering its vibration to form a new pattern (coherence). Once we’ve altered the appearance of the outer reality through a mental interaction and relationship, we then absorb and draw the experience of it back into ourselves, stimulating ourselves with our own creation. All of our perception and creative activities come through the relationship we form with ourselves (same idea as a life theme) in everything else.

The Triad – the Power of the Imagination

As we connect with and perceive ourselves in others through the activities and events of our life, we’re stimulated in ways that activate, call forth, and intensify some qualities, while returning others to a passive and latent state. We form thoughts as an internal representation of possible realities based on new combinations. We take a metaphorical idea and adapt it to our current life situation by how we apply it and form a modified version of the same basic idea. As we think and imagine, we alter our vibratory state and “tune ourselves” internally to the outer reality of our thoughts. Whatever idea we connect with and readily take in and begin thinking about, we become one with in spirit. By continuing to think about an idea that was stimulated in us by another, we integrate it into our paradigm through the reality we form of it in our imagination that sets the basis as a pattern for being able to first perceive it outwardly, then resonate and connect with it, forming a gravitational field between the inner idea and corresponding outer idea of the same nature or vibratory frequency.

This internal representation of reality produced in the imagination by the absorption and integration of a congruent idea, forms a new and unique combination of the same basic qualities to produce the triad. The triad is represented by a triangular shape whose base is formed by the straight line connecting the inner with the outer of the same nature, which then peaks in the center as a harmoniously “exalted state” on the upper plane as the imaginary creation of the mind / soul. The Law of the Triad represents the Law of the Imagination which forms an internal reality as the basis or energetic template for producing an outer reality of the same theme.

The reality created in our imagination as a potential reality tunes us energetically to the state of that reality, and forms the “vibratory template” as the “etheric hologram” for attracting, organizing, and perceiving that same type of reality outwardly. As we think and picture our thoughts as an internal representation or working concept, we form the “filtering system and lens” that we then look through in order to create our experience of reality. The same idea as a kind of metaphor or archetype is played out on multiple scales as the foundation for both a personal and universal reality. The inner is looked through and reflected downward in a polarized, reverse image on the lower plane, producing another triangle joined by the same baseline or foundation (horizontal line), producing a diamond shape as the Tetrad. When a diamond is reoriented horizontally, it forms a square or cube, which is symbolic of the material world shaped by the Four Elements. The Four Elements of the Pentad (5) form an equilateral square on the lower plane that’s shaped by the Fifth Element of the mind on the higher plane directly above it, all of which are symbolized by triads.

The Tetrad – the Birth of Reality

The Tetrad is the complementary opposite of the Triad on a different (lower) plane and is produced in a similar fashion to the Dyad, which exists as a reflection or mirror image (opposite) of the Monad on the same correlating plane. In this sense, the inner and outer, and the upper and lower are complementary opposites of the same thing and are produced by the same fundamental law of self-replication and reproduction. One acts to produce the other as smaller and greater expressions of the same metaphorical idea. Our internal nature as the qualities that make up our character, become the basis for producing an outer reality that’s comprised of the same, yet opposite qualities and characteristics. We’re always creating our opposite outside of us as a means of contrasting and relating to it in order to define ourselves by way of it. We can only know ourselves as “good”, by contrasting and comparing ourselves to what we deem “bad”. The idea of good and bad are opposites of the same idea that are simply cast in different roles, and one is necessary in order to define the other.

The soul creates itself by whatever it has a natural connection with (resonates with) and desires to become “one with in mind” through that connection. The soul acts as a medium between upper planes of the spirit as laws and archetypes, and the lower plane of the material world as coalesced light that produces the material reality as the “meaning” of our thoughts. Whatever idea the soul takes in and produces a possible reality out of by thinking about it and applying to their daily life in a specific and detailed manner, becoming “one with it in spirit”, acts to create through a natural process of adaptation that modifies the idea to become a congruent and meaningful part of its natural outer perception and daily life.

Our inner nature forms our natural feelings of connection with whatever is of the same nature and idea all around us. As we become one with an idea in thought and form a picture of it internally as a potential reality that’s played out in our daily life, and we concentrate on it repetitively while infusing it with magnetism (passion), it becomes a perceptual filter and we systematically see, connect with, and produce it as a corresponding outer experience. The soul as the mind only learns through experience, and creates itself as having certain qualities and characteristics by producing an experience of itself as the outward expression of those qualities, producing a memory of it. As the soul produces the reality of an idea, it senses itself by way of and in relationship with that idea, and acts on itself to shape itself in a completely self-contained and self-perpetuating manner.

How the Soul Creates its own Reality

We can only truly “do” what we can first imagine ourselves doing. When we’re left to our own devices, all of our goals and desires emerge naturally in our imagination by thinking about them. As we create an internal sensory experience of an idea, we create an “energetic template” that provides the subconscious with the pattern as a form of “virtual memory” for producing as an outer correspondence. Just the act of imagining an idea as an “actual experience” gives us the pattern as a way of being and the pathway for creating it as an actual outer experience of the same nature. Our ability to create in the outer world is based solely on our ability to first create it inwardly. Both the inner and the outer are constantly being transformed by each other through the nature of their interaction to produce an endless variety as an evolution of the same idea.

The model of the Tetragrammaton shows us that the inner mind of the subconscious is also what produces the outer world of self-awareness. The core or central self of the personality produces the outer world that it exists in and uses to experience itself. In order to change the outer world of manifest reality, we have to change the inner world of the imagination. We have to learn how to seed our own subconscious as the means of producing new experiences. We do this by picking intentional thoughts as ideas that we hold in our mind, concentrate on and imagine as a detailed sensory reality while infusing it with very compelling emotions, forming a strong desire for it. The subconscious is “experiential” in nature as the faculty of the mind that acts to produce our outer experiences, and we have to program it for new realities by turning an idea into an experience that produces a form of virtual memory. The subconscious, as an aspect of the soul, creates in an automatic fashion based on the memory it’s programmed with.

Emotion is the motivating force of the subconscious and is what naturally produces all of our behaviors and activities while in a physical body. How an idea is expressed to produce an outer reality is based on how we present the idea to ourselves internally and what emotion it naturally acts to invoke in us as a natural response to the idea. Emotion is the active and formative energy and connecting medium of the material plane. Any emotion being inwardly experienced and outwardly expressed produces an electrical charge that’s transmitted through the atmosphere, stimulating the same emotion in everything around us, bringing it into an active state in order to create a joint reality out of it.

The subconscious is motivated instinctively by feelings of pleasure or pain, and as a general rule, moves towards pleasure and away from pain, as a form of attraction and repulsion. In order to manifest a reality intentionally, we have to make sure we present it to ourselves in a way that elicits the proper emotion and type of experience. Otherwise we act to repel and negate the very thing we say we want. All reality is produced by the congruent unification of a combination of factors. It’s a combination of unconscious ideas and behaviors that play out automatically without direct awareness and conscious intention that’s designed to transform and evolve natural tendencies to a higher and more beneficial expression.

Summary

Whatever we think about and picture in our imagination as an actual experience, we become one with in mind, and produce metaphorically as our personal reality. Whatever thoughts we think that produce and keep us in certain emotional states, become the nature of all our outer experiences and what serves to motivate all of our natural and automatic behaviors. If we’re feeling sad, we focus on and think about sad things, replay sad memories over and over in our mind, and act to create more sad experiences. The thoughts we naturally think in an automatic fashion are based on our soul’s nature and character, and come by strengthening and reinforcing certain parts of our soul’s nature through our formative conditioning. Whatever we think about we become one with in mind and spirit, and set as a mental template and request for producing as an outer experience of reality. On the higher spiritual planes, “thoughts are actions” and are creative.

To change our life and reality, we have to change our habitual thoughts and the emotional states they produce or were born out of, and seed our imagination instead with new thoughts that we imagine as intense experiences that act to naturally elicit strong positive feelings of desire and emotional pleasure in response to them. We have to upgrade and evolve our mental paradigm through the incorporation of new ideas conceived of and born in the imagination as a detailed internal representation. Once an idea is imagined as an emotionally intense experience of a pleasurable nature, it integrates into our mental model as a possibility and becomes a natural part of our make-up and perception of reality. We tune ourselves to the vibration of that idea, and form a gravitational field between us and whatever’s of that same idea around us that can be used coherently to co-create it as a joint experience.

The Art of Setting Goals and Manifesting your Dreams

Setting goals and “dreaming” is one of the most primary ways we use our mind to create realities. While “task oriented goals” are relatively easy, as they only require us to direct our attention and perform remedial acts, producing entirely new experiences as realities requires more skill because it’s done by how we use different aspects of our own mind to program other aspects. Our mind has what we can think of as three primary aspects that are always performing different functions while working together in unison to produce the same reality. What we refer to as “reality” is created both internally and externally as a unified experience that’s metaphorical in nature.

We often feel confused around the idea of what we call the “same reality” being literal as an exact match, where it “shows up” just as we imagined it, when in fact it actually comes as a correspondence to our imagined idea as the same “type or kind” of reality that’s composed of different elements. The mind works out of patterns as themes that allow an idea to be applied and adapted to various situations to produce a modification of the same overall idea. So how the reality of an imagined goal formulates and shows up may be different, but it serves to create the same basic type of experience.

The key word here is the idea of a “type of experience”, rather than an exact event. We have to formulate the goal as an experience of reality, focusing primarily on the “feeling” we’re striving to get from the reality of the goal, then let go of all control as to how it formulates within our given conditions and circumstances. We create an idea as a symbolic, metaphorical idea that we use as an “organizational mechanism” (vibratory frequency) for organizing the elements available in our present environment to be of the same nature, and be organized to create the same type of experience.

Designing Mental Programs

All mental programming designed to produce an actual experience of reality, comes by way of the conscious mind programming the subconscious mind. The subconscious is different than the conscious mind in the sense that it’s always present in the moment, is experiential in nature, emotionally driven, and creates out of preexisting memory. What unifies all aspects of our mind into a cohesive singularity is “state”. Our state of mind is what also acts to adjust the chemistry of our body to “match” that state, as well as what acts to adjust and organize the events of the outer world. The “unified mind” that we all exist as a part of, commonly called the “collective unconscious” or “mass consciousness”, is the subconscious aspect of the mind that we share with all of Nature as the instinctually driven mind that governs the entire material world of both the body and its outer environment.

What we refer to as our conscious mind, which can also be thought of as our self-aware mind that forms our outer awareness, is abstract in nature, always consumed in the illusion of time and hardly ever present, and is what forms our verbal thoughts and internal dialogue that’s always talking to ourselves about things. This is the aspect of the mind that gives things meaning then tells a story about them based on the meaning. The conscious mind of outer awareness has the ability to discriminate, analyze, and evaluate situations in order to make conscious decisions. It works in-sync with the subconscious by acting as the “gatekeeper” of the subconscious and decides what to “let in” and what to “keep out”. It also has the ability to “seed” the imagination of the subconscious with an idea it wants to create as an outer reality, but they speak different languages, and so it has to form an idea and directive for the subconscious as a “direct experience” of an idea that replicates a memory, coupled with a positive state and emotion.

The Power of State

What acts as the “unifying field” or mechanism between all aspects of the mind is the “feeling state” we exist in as our perspective and basis for creating experience. This idea is probably the most confusing for people in understanding how to formulate the reality they desire to create and experience through what we imagine to be a form of prayer or be requesting and asking for it. If we exist in a state of “wanting” what we don’t have, we’re creating an “experience of not having”, and we’re actually “programming” our subconscious to create more experiences of wanting. It’s the experience we’re “in” as a state of mind forming a perception that acts as the directive for the subconscious mind.

This is due to the fact that the subconscious is feeling and experience oriented, rather than abstract and time oriented. Whatever feeling we live out of and maintain as an inner experience and emotional state “is” what we’re connecting to all around us and acting in an organized manner to create more of. The subconscious has no concept of time and simply operates to create material reality based on using memory to create more experiences that are of the same nature as the memory. The subconscious doesn’t exist in time and doesn’t have the ability to focus on “being without something” that it needs to seek and try to get outside of itself in the outer world. This means that it’s “present in the experience of not having”, and acting on our behalf to create more of the same type of experiences, because this is the actual command we’re giving it.

The outer world is always a direct correlation and reflection of the inner world, because they’re both created as an extension of each other within the same mind. We do not exist as separate from our environment, but rather as a coherent part of it. What we experience as reality is based on our own perception of it, which comes from our mental paradigm as our “model of the world”, used as a dynamic system for interpreting what we perceive to be outer events to give them meaning as the way of “experiencing” them. The experience of something comes as the feeling sensations that produce emotions and an “inner reality” that acts as a “representation” we use in place of actual events. We “reshape” the outer elements to produce the reality that matches the inner feelings and emotions, reforming them according to our model used for perceiving them.

       As we reform the elements of the outer events of life to match our ideas about them, we form them into an internal reality as a representation that becomes our “memory of them”. All memory is produced in the imagination as a personification of an outer, object reality, and then replayed in the imagination as a way of continuing to form reality as our perception, and create more realities of the same nature as our memories. This is because the subconscious, which is the “group mind” of mass consciousness, has to have a set-pattern as a kind of theme or metaphor for producing both an internal reality and corresponding external reality of the same nature. The subconscious needs a “memory of reality” in order to produce an “experience” of reality. The subconscious can’t tell the difference between an “actual memory” and an imagined one, because they’re both created the same way, in the faculty of the imagination. In order to give the subconscious a pattern and directive for creating, we have to form it into a virtual memory as an experience of it, as if it’s already real.

What makes a “real memory” different from a made-up one, is that the one created from a real life situation came as an actual experience that had a strong feeling, vivid and intense sensations, and a strong emotion as the “self-organizing mechanism” that gave it meaning and shaped it into a story of some kind. Actual events, which are subliminally shaped through natural unconscious states, contain all the key components for shaping as a “mental record”, which, when recalled and replayed, contain all the emotional sensations and instant story-line for producing an immediate experience of the same nature and kind. Our entire experience of reality is based on an incredibly diverse and dynamic matrix of interwoven and integrated memory. Our mental paradigm as a dynamic (living) holographic pattern (frequency) is a “reality generating machine”, much like a computer simulation or video game where everything is being produced in a progressive manner moment by moment through our perception of it formed out of memory.

       The “connecting factor” that forms the basis for and that generates and maintains all reality, is “feelings”. Whatever reality as an experience we produce by imagining it, acts to express a feeling, amplifying and reproducing it, and serves to give us more of that same feeling. If we form a wish or goal from a feeling of lack and scarcity, from a state of “not having it”, while we think we’re giving the subconscious a verbal command to produce or find it, the real directive being received by the subconscious is to produce more of the same feeling as an experience of the outer reality. We’re actually forming a goal around the experience of “deprivation and lack” at the subconscious level.

This is a very important factor to realize in using your own mind to create within the material world. Thought as we know it, as verbal words we speak to ourselves internally, is a product of the self-conscious mind of outer awareness. The thought and “intelligence” of higher planes of consciousness (regardless of what we call it), is what acts to organize and orchestrate the material plane of phenomena, and comes intuitively as feelings. Within feelings are whole realities as experiences that produce more of the same feelings. The governing force of the mind and the reality it creates and perceives, both internally and externally, comes as feelings that act to systematically produce matching thoughts and emotions.

Goals as Mental Programs

In order to produce a goal as a means of creating reality, rather than performing a simple task, it has to be formed into an “experience of the goal” as an actual reality. We have to form it in our imagination in full sensory terms as being “within it” having the experience of it. We have to first produce the reality internally in order to connect with, match, and perceive the same type of reality externally. All perception of the outer world is formed as the correspondence to the internal representation formed in the imagination. The same pattern as a theme or metaphor is played out on different scales and levels simultaneously. The entire material world, which is constructed of light by the mind, is produced by the Higher Mind of the Soul, of which both the subconscious and self-conscious are functional aspects within the lower plane and are what is used to produce, experience, and maintain the entire phenomenal world. In order to work within the material plane in a truly creative fashion, we have to work by way of the laws that govern the mind that’s acting to create it. Two complementary aspects brought into harmony produce a functional third.

We produce our goals as imaginary realities by developing them as actual scenarios in full sensory terms, while also creating our experience by what we’re telling ourselves about them that give them meaning and form a story-line about them. We picture it in our mind while asking ourselves . . . what am I seeing? Then imbue it with visual details that are rich in terms of colors, textures, and qualities. Then ask, what am I hearing? While filling in the experience with any sounds, activities, or other people talking. Then, what am I feeling or touching? Smelling? Tasting? While filling in details of sensations of touch, smell, and taste. What am I feeling as emotional sensation? What am I telling myself about it as internal dialogue and thoughts? And so on, until you develop a detailed sensory experience that acts to invoke a very positive emotional state.

Emotions Motivate Action and Behavior

The subconscious is emotionally driven and motivated by the two primary emotions of either pleasure or pain. It moves towards and into anything it deems pleasurable or pleasant, and away from or avoids anything it perceives as painful or unpleasant. It’s very important that the visualization of our goals as an experience act to naturally produce positive, compelling emotions in us. If feelings of fear, apprehension or discomfort arise from our goals, we have to resolve them at the same time as a means of developing our vision, or they’ll act as a natural means of self-sabotage. Because fear is such a strong and compelling emotion, it can take on a life of its own, and sends the message to the subconscious that this type of situation (our desired goal) will cause fear as a result, and the subconscious will act to avoid, resist, and counteract it as a way of preventing it from happening.

Spiritual Basis of Desire and Fear

From a purely spiritual, soul-oriented perspective, which is always based on growth by realizing and overcoming limitations, all of our true desires as the dream for our life are directly associated to our greatest fears, and require us to step into and resolve our fears in order to willfully create. This factor can be confusing for many because there’s a general misconception that’s being widely taught as the belief that “what’s meant to be” comes with ease as a harmonious and synchronistic unfolding of congruent events. While this is true at the unconscious level of karmic patterns repeating in a systematic fashion, when we assume the position of “consciously creating” in a precise and deliberate manner by breaking habitual patterns of established realities, we have to operate according to a higher set of laws that are polar and causal in nature to the laws of the lower plane, which come in an automated fashion without our mental initiation.

When we step outside of automated processes, which create out of fears as much as they do desires (whichever one is strongest), we encounter a kind of paradox that acts to keep our current life situation stable and maintains it in a consistent fashion. As we set goals to accomplish things that are outside of our normal reality, we encounter both the positive and negative aspects at play within the same reality. In order to create something new and alter the existing pattern of reality, we have to not only develop and embellish the positive aspects, but we have to also realize and dissolve the negative emotions that will serve to counteract and prevent it.

How we Sabotage Ourselves

Whenever we act against our own desires as a means of destroying opportunities, ruining key relationships, or producing destructive behavior, we have fears and beliefs operating at the subconscious level that we haven’t identified that are stronger than our desires. We are often our own worst enemy and what acts in our own life to destroy our dreams and ultimately produce our own demise. When fear is stronger than desire, it becomes the dominant state that we create our experience out of. What we fear we simultaneously think about and imagine, programming our subconscious with the reality of our fear. All behaviors come in a completely natural fashion without our direct awareness, and whenever emotions and intellect clash, emotion nearly always wins because it’s what’s driving all subconscious activity to produce us and our reality.

The Creative Power of Beliefs

Because our mind is what produces our perception of reality and all of our natural behaviors based on our perception, we act in an unconscious manner to faithfully produce the reality of our beliefs. Whenever we have a belief that contradicts or counteracts our desire for something, we use the desire to produce the reality of our belief instead, which prevents us from being able to accomplish it. Our beliefs “appear real to us” because they’re an inherent part of our perception, so we usually don’t realize that they’re actually something that we made-up, or was given (taught) by someone else that we accepted as being real and therefore true. Because we don’t truly realize the power of our own mind to create our reality (perception), we don’t realize that our beliefs aren’t “real”.

       We form limiting beliefs around our desires and dreams that require dissolution through self-awareness and realization, and the deliberate use of our ability to willfully correct our own false illusions. Usually, even when evidence is provided that contradicts and therefore proves our beliefs to be false, we’ll deny it or argue against it in favor of our beliefs. This is because our beliefs are not singular in nature but are formed out of a “belief system” as our mental paradigm that all support and validate each other through a cohesive experience of reality. As we transform what seems like a single belief, we undergo a paradigm shift that systematically transforms all beliefs that relied on it in order to be “real”.

This can and does act to turn our perception and experience of reality completely around. We all have a story built around our beliefs that shape us according to them, and when a core-belief (one formed through our formative (childhood) conditioning) is transformed, it transforms our identity by way of the reality it creates that we use to experience ourselves, that can often cause a form of identity crisis. This experience is what’s been traditionally referred to as “soul liberation”, because the beliefs used to structure our reality are a form of self-induced limitation. While limitations of various sorts are necessary to express something in a specific manner, and as the means of developing an idea by giving it detail, when they prevent us from becoming a certain “type of person”, or from producing a certain type of experience, they act to prevent self-expression as growth in the most basic sense of the idea. What kind of limitations we impose on ourselves determines what we are capable of creating using our soul, mind, and will.

Ecology Check – Creating Harmony

Another potential problem we have is that we set goals for one area of our life that conflicts with, undermines, or causes problems in another area of our life. When this happens we form inner conflict around them, associating pain and suffering with them, or the experience of having to “give up or lose” something we value in order to have or achieve them. Because the subconscious is the aspect of the (unified) mind that creates reality, it avoids and sabotages our goals, or acts to keep us in a constant state of inner conflict. Again, it’s the “state” we’re in and the “experience” that acts as the “program as a reality” for the subconscious to create more of.

For this reason, all goals should be developed in a way that’s congruent and harmonious with all other areas of our life, or if you’re acting to change behaviors, make sure you identify when and in what way the new behavior is appropriate and desired, and when it’s not. This requires moving an idea from a generalized state to a detailed and specific state by developing it in your imagination. Goals as standards exist in all areas of our life, and have to always be harmonious with each other in order to accomplish and maintain them. A financial or professional goal shouldn’t act to prevent or go against a health or relationship goal. Whenever intentional goals clash, it has a destructive nature and puts you in a constant state of inner turmoil and tearing you apart by having to let go of one area of your life in order to achieve in another area. All goals should be integrated harmoniously with all other goals and standards by adapting and modifying them accordingly, and should always produce a positive emotional state as the “imaginary experience of them”.

All Goals should be Self-Oriented

All true goals should only involve you in order to achieve and produce. They shouldn’t require the participation of anyone else specifically to achieve as a joint reality. If goals require the cooperation of others in order to create, they should be discussed, set as a joint experience, and developed as a group. Any goal as a reality that’s not already a part of your everyday life requires you to make an inward change in order to produce outwardly. It requires you to give your own subconscious mind a program as a virtual memory to create an outward reality of the same nature. All goals come as our ability to willfully create an experience of them both inwardly and outwardly as an actual scenario or event. The only people who can actively and naturally participate in a playing a part in them are those who have similar goals or who are already a natural part of the reality we’re acting on ourselves to create.

There are many articles written on the nature of goal setting, most of which are the offspring of conventional thought that’s been made popular, which state that it’s only goals that are written down and remembered that tend to come true. And while this is certainly true, it’s actually only the initial steps to actually creating the reality of your goals. As we write them down, we further develop them by making them detailed and specific, which becomes the basis for setting the intention to create them by visualizing them. All true creation that produced a brand new situation and experience began as a dream in the imagination. As souls, we are all programmed with our destiny through the dreams we naturally hold for our life that we’re born with and come natural to us. We all form ideas in our mind as kids of the type of characters that we want to be like and we develop those same characteristics in ourselves by “pretending to be like them”. We act out the same stories as an identity that has specific qualities and characteristics, and we “program ourselves” with those imagined realities as a way of “becoming”.

Setting the Criteria for Evaluating the Accomplishment of a Goal

As you visualize a goal that’s set as a “reality” (not as acquiring an object or performing a task) and begin moving into it, it can become easy to lose sight as to whether or not you’re making real progress, or at what point you have actually accomplished your goal as an outcome of reality. We have to form realization around what it is that will provide us with evidence of our goal becoming an actual reality. At what point will we realize we’ve accomplished it? What is it in our outer environment as an event or situation that will let us know? This is critical because all imagined realities that act as a template and program for creating, are symbolic and metaphorical in nature, and when they’re produced as an actual reality, may be quite a bit different than the way we imagined it. For this reason, we have to identify and become quite clear on the “feeling” the reality was designed to give us.

All experience is only designed as the means of producing a feeling in us by way of that reality. It’s the feeling that gives us a sense of ourselves inwardly that forms the basis of the memory we create of it as a result. The events themselves, or the specific set of circumstances that take place as our outer situation are irrelevant in and of themselves, but merely set the stage necessary for us to create a specific type of experience out of them. It’s the experience we create from the material reality that shapes us in terms of our identity. The outer events themselves are neutral in nature and lack meaning outside of the one we give it as a means of experiencing it. As we create our experience, we relate and associate with it, forming a “sense of ourselves” within and “as” our experience, which serves to shape us as an individual. By identifying the feeling the goal is designed to give us, we can form a clear idea as to when we have accomplished our goal as an outer experience that provides us with a certain inner feeling.

Overview:

We create our reality in an intentional manner by how we use our conscious mind to program our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is intuitive in nature, and requires an idea as a metaphorical pattern that it uses as a form of instinct to create a corresponding outer experience. Our subconscious is the material mind that we share with the entire natural world, that has no ability of its own to discriminate and evaluate, decide, or willfully (going against habitual tendencies) act out an idea that’s apart from its outer environment, and needs to be “seeded” with an idea in the form of a memory for creating as an outer reality of the same nature. It’s only by first producing the reality inwardly that we can then produce it outwardly.

All goals for new creations have to be resistant free and harmonious with our mental paradigm in order to achieve, because it’s our paradigm that produces it. We have to identify all fear and negative emotions associated with it, and any other areas of our life it will conflict or act to undermine and ruin. We have to realize any core beliefs we have that will prevent it or act to sabotage it. We have to develop it as a reality from “within the experience of it” as an already existing reality. Form it from the position and perspective of already “having it”.

The Steps for Creating a Vision of Our Goal:

  • Decide on what you “want” and set the intention for creating it.
  • Integrate it with all other life goals and standards for living as a way of developing it into a specific and detailed reality that’s congruent and coherent with your existing model.
  • Recognize any fears, negative emotions, conflicts, and limiting beliefs associated with it that arise naturally in response to the thought of it, and set a series of smaller goals as the means for transforming them.
  • Develop the goal as an actual experience of reality by giving it full sensory detail – seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting, and what you’re telling yourself about it.
  • Develop your internal dialogue as your “story about things” and yourself in a way that’s congruent and forms positive emotions and feelings about yourself.
  • Form a strong desire for it by making it very compelling and associating only positive emotions to it.
  • Once developed the way you want it, replay it over and over several times until it becomes a natural thought that can be instantly recalled just like a memory.
  • Write it down or record it, then review and visualize it every morning before you start your day, throughout the day when you’re in a relaxed state, and every evening before you fall asleep.
  • Set the intention to take some form of action towards it that day as a smaller set of goals that form an “action plan”.
  • As you go along and your actions begin producing results, evaluate those results to see if they’re in alignment with your desired outcome, and make any adjustments necessary to your action plan. Keep doing this until you produce the results you desire as a certain type of experience.
  • Form a strong realization around how you will feel when you’ve accomplished your goal and use that as the means of measuring it’s completion as an outer series of events that become a natural part of your experience and identity.

Archetypes as Laws and Principles that Provide Tools for Personal Transformation

In order to gain an understanding of how archetypes work in our psychological make-up, we have to start by defining what an archetype is. An archetype is what’s used in the most primary sense to illustrate or represent natural principles and laws. An archetype represents a kind of prototype, universal template, or ideal that we use for creating in every aspect of our life. As multidimensional, multifaceted beings, our personality and psychological make-up is comprised of universal archetypes that we share with all of humanity, represented by the zodiac and the ancient gods of Mythology. An archetype as a principle is represented as an “idea” or “being” that has certain types of attributes, qualities and characteristics, that form its basic personality giving it a natural disposition, temperament, perspective and “type” or kind of behaviors that naturally lend themselves to telling a certain type of story as it’s “identity”. Our basic psychological make-up as our personality is formed by the twelve universal (everyone has them) archetypes of the zodiac as personality traits in varying degrees and aspects that are composed into a “formula” as our primary “state of consciousness”.  As we go out into the world and begin participating in co-creating reality, this state of consciousness as our personality acts to predetermine and form our “identity” as the roles we naturally cast ourselves in or take on, and the type of story we tell by how we express our character traits and live our life. In order to change the character traits that make up our personality and identity, we have to work by way of these same principles as archetypes by reformulating them. The ultimate form of transformation as self-development, doesn’t come by changing individual or select behaviors, habits, or tendencies, though it can be in the ordinary sense, but rather by working with attributes and qualities that form new characteristics. By evolving characteristics that form our personality and have natural behaviors inherent in them as a “way of being”, we naturally produce new experiences that give us a new and different “sense of ourselves”, that simultaneously produces a new kind of reality as the story we naturally begin telling through our newly acquired perceptions and behaviors. “Being” always produces “doing”, and doing always results in physical manifestation. To work through principles says that the way to change how something or someone functions and performs, and the reality they create through the story they naturally tell as a result, is to work with their character and nature to alter, modify and reformulate its inherent properties and elements. By adjusting and modifying the qualities one expresses through, we change the entire operation. So instead of trying to change one aspect within a whole, natural operation, often without ever identifying what attribute is ultimately causing it, you work instead to adjust the inner nature as their character, and let the changes that ensue from it naturally take place. Then evaluate them to determine if or what other attributes need to be adjusted, until it naturally acts to produce the change you want. All change ultimately comes in a natural and permanent manner by changing the character of the person forming the behaviors that you desire to change. All other methods may solve a specific application or instance, but the behavior and tendency itself will continue to play out in others ways. What’s referred to in Alchemy as the “chemical marriage”, comes through coupling, combining, and assimilation of its equal and complementary opposite. Transformation takes place by mingling, blending, and combining contradictory opposites to form a new whole. By returning what is fixed and dead to a fluid and growing state. When we assume habitual qualities that make up our character and nature, and fail to grow in the essential sense of our inner self, we become as dead matter, measured only by quantity and proportion. We stagnate and begin living a life of routine and dogma, performing the same rituals day after day in an automatic way, and begin living out of the same mindset telling ourselves the same story day in and day out. When we stop growing, learning, and becoming something new and different in each moment, we begin the process of withering and dying. All behaviors and habits are merely the expression of established and well-practiced qualities that make up our character. So the way to change a habit, specific behavior, or tendency, isn’t to work directly with it in the practical sense of breaking a pattern to form a new one, but rather by identifying what part of your nature is producing that behavior as a natural expression and working through the law of sympathy and antipathy to modify it. It’s only by changing our inner nature somehow that we change our outer expression which is what produces our experience of reality.

        Qualities exist as attributes that are polar in nature as complementary opposites that form extremes of each other, with a gradient scale between them as degrees. We seldom ever fall exclusively on one side or the other, but rather somewhere in between, and express in favor of one extreme or the other under different circumstances. Many behavioral tendencies come more as a dynamic and interactive combination of qualities that must be worked with as groups or complementary clusters rather than as singular in nature, although often what is spurned as a quality actually results from a “core or parent” quality, which, when transformed, changes all offspring produced by it systematically. For example, jealousy and envy, whose opposite is admiration and trust, may be the offspring of self-doubt, lack of confidence, and low self-worth, and until this is addressed and transformed, the jealousy won’t go away. At best it’ll be repressed and subdued or corrected (seemingly) in one situation, while still existing as a tendency and natural perception in any other situation that warrants it, because what’s “causing it” hasn’t been changed. Once self-worth has been transformed into a healthy state of confidence, self-love and admiration, the tendency towards jealousy in all areas dissipates and is no longer apart of personal awareness and feelings. In other words, the person no longer feels that way in situations that used to warrant a deep feeling of jealousy and envy. To breed confidence in place of being timid and feeling unsure of yourself requires working with believing in yourself, trusting yourself, and honoring your uniqueness. Just trying to correct the behavior itself by telling them (or yourself) to not be timid or afraid, or by making them feel bad somehow for being that way, not only doesn’t transform it, but can in fact compound and exaggerate it, making it even worse. Qualities as our inner nature and personality form an interactive model as a cluster of qualities that have been developed through an active and expressive state to produce our experiences. We form beliefs about and around ourselves and others through the active expression of innate qualities being brought out in us through the dynamics, conditions, and life situations we grew up in, that served to establish our initial personality as traits and characteristics we naturally possess and outwardly express in a fluent manner as adults.

       All of these active, well-developed qualities have their complementary opposites, which also exist within us in a latent state, and can be used in a strategic manner to transform them. We simply have to realize it, form a desire and intention to perfect ourselves, and use our will creatively to transform our character into new habits. We “become” whatever we form a habit of. By intentionally working to develop ourselves by embodying and acting out counteractive qualities, and practicing “being that way”, we transform and evolve our perceptions, how we “sense ourselves”, and how we feel about ourselves. For example, just by changing our posture from a slumped one to an erect one, back straight, head held up high, making eye contact, all characteristics of “confident behavior”, we actually feel more confident. As we feel more confident, we create an experience of ourselves as “being” confident, and we start acting that way more and more, until it becomes a natural part of who we are in the most ordinary sense. All qualities have a state-of-mind and physiological characteristics associated with them. By becoming an actor in our own life, so to speak, we can imagine the state-of-mind out of which confidence would be the result, and by employing the behaviors and postures that communicate and outwardly demonstrate confidence, and “become” confident. We can actively choose to embody that state and quality of being, and act it out as a means of expressing ourselves in some situation, as the basis for creating an experience of ourselves in that manner. If we feel we don’t know how to be, feel, and act confident, we can find someone that we consider confident and self-assured, study them to see what they’re attitude, frame of mind, physiology (the way they hold themselves, gestures, facial expressions, voice tone and quality, etc.), and how they act, then we can model them by “pretending” to be the same way. Just like when we were kids and we developed ourselves by pretending to be just like our favorite characters. This whole process of self-development is natural to us as children when we’re in a primary state of creating ourselves using our imagination, but we tend to lose this ability as we become adults. As adults, we’ve established patterns and instead of taking an attitude of “creating new memories”, we begin simply living out of the memories already created in a repetitive fashion, feeling and being the same way over and over, creating the same type of experiences in the present as in the past, and we stop growing as a result. While the subconscious mind, which forms our personality, is habitual in nature, working to create and behave in an automatic fashion based on memory as habits, it’s also passive and receptive in nature, lacking a will of its own, and can be directed by the conscious mind to employ new qualities, behave in new ways as the expression of those qualities, and form new memories that will become new habits as a natural way of being. We don’t always need to go through years of therapy in an attempt to try and resolve or understand our story about things and what happened to us, and why we became the way we are. Sometimes all we have to do is realize as adults we still have the ability to create ourselves in any way we want to by simply detaching from the past and our story about it, deciding what aspects of ourselves we want to grow and transform into something better and greater, set the intention to do so, then begin the work of practicing in a disciplined manner to become it.

       We can bring what’s in a fixed and established state back into a fluid and growing state. We can realize who we’ve become up to this point, and who we want to be instead, or in moving forward to continue the process of actively developing ourselves. We see ourselves and our life as a “work in progress” of continuous and never-ending growth. Not as “being” a certain way, but rather in a continuous state of “becoming”. We can decide what story we want to tell by how we live our life, and what “kind” of person we have to become in order to do that. We can move outside of the mindset that says we’re always determined by other people, by how they act and treat us, or by what situations we found ourselves in or acted unknowingly to create, and begin taking an attitude instead of being responsible for our own development and who we become by way of our own willful decisions and disciplined actions. We can disconnect from all the memories and illusions of the past, be present in the moment, and become aware of ourselves in terms of how and who we’re being, and “in that awareness”, actively choose how we’re going to be, regardless of others and what’s happening around us. We can detach from our emotional connection to others that keep us constantly affected by and responding to them, reside apart from them as our own person, and choose how we’re going to interact accordingly. We’re only affected by people because as children in our “formative years”, only our subconscious was fully developed and dominantly active and we were constantly taking in the suggestions and attitudes of others and using them to shape ourselves in relation with them. This tendency becomes established as a way of self-development, so that even when the self-conscious aspect of the mind develops to the point of being active and dominate as our awareness, which has the ability to judge and decide what to let in or keep out, we continue acting to develop in an unconscious manner. Once we develop a conscious mind, which separates us from our parents and others and gives us the ability to think for ourselves, discriminate and reason, and act based on choice and will to give suggestions to our own subconscious mind as a way of self-development instead of other-development, we acquire the ability to become self-determined. The problem is, by the time we’ve become adults it’s become a habit as an automatic process of stimulus – response, action – reaction, and we don’t realize that we now have a will and can act independent of others in determining our own psychological makeup. We can finally realize that who others are, how they’re being towards us, and what they think of us has nothing to do with us, unless we let it by engaging through a reactive, like-response. As soon as we realize this, break the unconscious emotional connection, and see ourselves as a part from others, where their behavior and attitude no longer produces a reaction in us, we step into our true power to decide in every moment who and how we’re going to be, then act it out producing an experience of ourselves as being that way.

Summary: All transformation comes as an “inside job”. It comes through transforming the qualities that make up our character that naturally produce all of our perceptions and behaviors as a natural way of being that serve to tell a story of some kind. We don’t transform by addressing specific behaviors, but rather by working with the personality traits and character that act to naturally produce them as a tendency. By changing our “core” or kernel, we change how it expresses outwardly and what it acts to create through behaviors and deeds of some sort. Archetypes are tools for transformation because they provide us with a dynamic system of what qualities and personality traits produce what type of behaviors that naturally perform a stylized operation as a thematic story-line. All qualities exist in polarity, with a wide range of degrees and variances in between, and can be modified by employing their opposite and contradictory aspect. All vibration as a pattern is altered by coupling with a similar, yet variable pattern of the same nature, where different degrees of the same quality are being expressed, that allows it to acquire and take on new attributes. We train and condition ourselves to new ways of being by modeling the qualities necessary until they become a natural part of us. Whatever we pretend to be, we become. Alchemy and the Process of Initiation – Transformation and Growth through Challenges and Ordeals

The ancient art known as “Alchemy” dealt with the idea of soul purification and self-creation through masterful use of the will. It works through Universal Laws that govern all of the material world as a primary form of mind-over-matter, or the mind’s ability to willfully direct the behaviors of the body (subconscious) and determine what type of energies as states of consciousness we take on, become one with, and bring into expression as a way of creating ourselves by way of them. It works through the same laws that govern the chemistry of the body, where, when two or more substances are combined, they form a chemical reaction as biological processes of transformation. All change and transmutation comes from new combinations of some kind that form new relationships as a unique variable that alters it from its original state.

The alchemical process acts first to “purify” the substance (soul) to be transformed through various forms of changing the solution by filtering and separation, that identify and remove all impurities acquired through previous combinations and amalgamations, returning it to its virgin state. This process takes repeated steps of breaking down existing conditions and established patterns as active qualities, refining them through a process of distillation, and removing all corrupt aspects as weaknesses, vices, and vulnerabilities. Once returned to its original state, the true aspects of its character can then fully express and be developed into strengths as the means of true self-creation that comes from self-awareness, self-knowledge, and intentional actions and deeds. We can then act “on ourselves” to develop ourselves in very distinct ways by choosing what qualities we want to intentionally embody, become one with, and bring into expression as a way of apprehending those qualities and developing our character to include them.

       The Law of the Tetragrammaton or Tetrad (4), demonstrates this process and method of “becoming” through the Dyad (Vesica Pisces) as the blending together of two energy fields, joined at the center, where outside energies serve to stimulate and awaken those same energies in us, and together in the overlapping area, form an interference pattern as the reconfiguration of that pattern in both to form a new variation. This new variation of the same quality and idea, births the Triad as its offspring as an inner or imagined idea that provides the subconscious pattern for producing its outer equivalent as a projection or reflection, birthing its correspondence as an outer expression or experience of reality, represented by the Tetrad.

This same principle is demonstrated in the most primary law of all, the Law of Vibration, which states that whenever we vibrate in harmony with something else, we act to magnetically draw it into us through sympathetic induction, blending with it, and both of our complementary, yet variable vibrations influence each other and begin vibrating in-sync, forming coherence as a new vibratory rate that together forms a new pattern. This law forms the very foundation as a guided process for not only realizing “how” we’re being shaped all the time by whatever we associate and interact with energetically, but for how to engage in and use that same process intentionally as a means of developing ourselves.

The same process of returning a solid substance to a fluid state, purifying it by breaking down and dissolving all impurities and corruption, then reforming it through new combinations, occurs naturally in life anytime we’re faced with challenges, ordeals, major life crisis, and extreme forms of hardship and loss, where we’re forced to reevaluate our life and values, and embrace our identity with a full sense of awareness. It’s easy to see that the only time we change or grow in some way, is when we have to in order to overcome or negotiate a new situation that presents a problem or unfamiliar territory. It’s only when we’re taken out of our comfort zone, our ordinary conditions, circumstances, and situations that we’ve become accustomed to, and thrown into brand new, unexpected situations that we’re forced to respond by acting in a new and deliberate way. Where we go through the process in our mind of not knowing what to do, no previous experience or memory to draw off of or repeat, and we go through a decision process that requires us to willfully act it out, usually going against our own natural and habitual tendencies. Only in these moments are we truly self-creating in a fully aware manner. We’re initiating and producing our own reality that brings us into a new feeling and sense of ourselves. We embody qualities that we’ve never really expressed or developed before, and they transform us as a result. While in these moments, we’re back into a position, often for the first time as an adult, of having to make conscious decisions in every instance of what we’re going to do, how we’re going to be, and what we’re going to act intentionally to create.

        The process of initiation in the ancient mysteries, prepared the initiate by putting them in extremely challenging situations that were designed to invoke extreme fear and a deep sense of insecurity, which revealed their will to either give-up or give-in, or to persevere and push through difficulties, developing great mental fortitude through the process. The object was to not only become fearless, but to also be able to remain calm, highly focused, clear minded, and confident in extreme situations of all kinds. This came through the ability to not allow the energy challenging you to enter into your sphere of consciousness and alter your state of mind to match and be “like it”. This is what you might call a form of reverse engineering of the initial process of alteration through “combining and coupling” represented by the Dyad. In this process you deflect the energy, keeping it outside of you, refrain from reacting to it in any manner while staying centered and grounded internally, and in doing so, you neutralize the energy and act instead to influence and direct it through your mental projections and actions.

All of life evolves out of various combinations as the relationships of complementary opposites that act on each other to transform each other to be more alike. Every person or being that we meet or interact with, is acting naturally just through the nature of the interaction to make us like them, and we act to make them like us. This is what all relationships are, a natural method of transformation through adaptation and modification that (re)forms a new whole as a variation. This process is always going on between us and everything around us all the time at the subconscious, unaware level of the mind. We are constantly absorbing, integrating, assimilating, and becoming “like” the energy around us as a basic form of evolution that keeps us in the same state and condition as the environment we exist in, function as a part of, and have to survive in. Once we fully understand this law and fact, we have the tools necessary to work by way of that same law to consciously direct and influence the operation.

All energy is a form of consciousness that exists as “qualities” and feelings that naturally produce certain types of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The spiritual-energetic world exists in a parallel dimension to the physical as a hierarchical structure. Whatever exists on a “lower plane” is fully contained within the higher plane as its foundation. The higher plane, which contains the entire lower plane, is what acts to govern and sustain that plane. The invisible plane of energy, which is consciousness, is what shapes matter as essence into form through imagined thoughts. An idea introduced into the mind as a frequency or feeling, stimulates and initiates a thought process that forms it into an image of some kind as a reality in the mind’s eye (3rd eye), that’s further developed and evolved through a narration as internal dialogue. The entire physical, manifest world is produced and animated by consciousness as thought, intention, and imagination. And it’s through this same process, by working with the laws of the higher plane governing the lower plane that we direct and work with the energies of the lower plane.

       Once we return to a virgin state through the process of being broke down through constant challenges and crisis, where all illusions that prevented us from seeing ourselves and life as it really is dissolve, revealing only what’s real and eternal and unchangeable, we’re in the position to not only take over control of our own development, but can develop the necessary capacities of the mind that prevent us from being influenced, altered, and corrupted by others. All energy as states that produce emotional realities can be directed and brought into a submissive state by the will. We can control and regulate all energy within our own mental sphere (immediate surroundings) by exercising our will to direct it. This is not the same thing as “imposing our will on others” in an attempt to control and influence them to think, feel, and behave in a certain way, but rather to exercise full dominion over ourselves and our own mind and soul. Alchemy doesn’t concern itself with the idea or need to somehow change others, but only with the mastery necessary to become fully self-determined and self-controlled. The best way we have of influencing others is by controlling our own state and behaviors in how we interact with them, which influences them to “match us”.

Once we realize that our mind exists as a spherical field of energy that not only permeates and surrounds our body, encapsulating it, but also extends out into the environment around us quite some distance, and is always mingling with and taking on the energy of everything else, we can begin acting deliberately to regulate our energy field by using our will and imagination to determine what we allow in to become a part of us, and what we keep out or deflect, so it doesn’t affect or alter us. If we learn how to tune into the energy in any situation and become aware of how it interacts with us to transform us through resonance, we can learn how to “sense it” by feeling it while imagining its quality, motives, and behavior, while keeping it “outside of us”. We can then realize that people who are willfully projecting through some form of intensity, and those who live out of and are always expressing and projecting strong emotions of some sort, can only “enter into us” and infect us, becoming a part of our mind, if we choose to let them.

Energetic interactions take place naturally at the subconscious level, where, even though we realize how strongly we’re affected by them, we don’t realize what’s actually going on in the objective sense. We don’t realize that by becoming aware of what operates at the unconscious level, we can learn how to work with it consciously (with awareness). We can imagine an invisible barrier around us as the outer edge of our mental sphere where ideas and emotions being projected at us by others are allowed to reflect and “spread out” so we can see them as if “looking through a transparent image”, where we can “read them accurately” while preventing them from entering our mind and altering our state accordingly. By practicing this, we can remain calm, centered, and unaffected while in the midst of extremes and intensity of any kind. By remaining neutral in the presence of projected emotions we act to neutralize and diffuse them. But most importantly, we exercise the ability to regulate our own mind and body. This is a key ability of vital importance in terms of intentional self-creation.

        In this same manner we can consciously choose energy that we do want to blend with and become one with as a means of intentionally acquiring the same qualities. While we tend to use terms like “acquire”, “apprehend”, or” get”, to describe the energy and consciousness we embody as a means of developing qualities in ourselves, the fact is we don’t ever “get energy” as qualities “from” something else outside of us, but they act instead, through resonance, to “awaken” and bring into an active state those same qualities that are already “in” us. We then develop them through repetitive expression to become a prominent part of our character. Anything that we consistently develop through expression and interaction of some sort becomes a habit as second nature, which means we begin doing it naturally in an automatic fashion without direct awareness, having to think about it, or exerting intentional effort.

This same process of union as combining and coupling with someone or something else as the natural means of transforming and growing, is represented in what’s called the “chemical marriage” of Alchemy, as the relationship between the active and passive forces of the same mind and soul, and the conscious minds ability to direct, guide, and create by way of the subconscious mind as a unified and harmonious act. It’s learning how to make an adjustment through an understanding of sympathy and antipathy, attraction and repulsion, magnetizing and projecting. By learning how to use our own personal will to seed and work to create through our subconscious, we create both ourselves and our reality in an intentional and purposeful manner.

       Likewise, the burning away of impurities as character flaws, unconscious complexes and tendencies, incorrect evaluations and calculations, or bad habits we developed as unconscious conditioning, we can resolve our bad (self-destructive) karma and create a more positive and beneficial form of karma. Redemption comes by first bringing what’s operating in our life unconsciously into conscious awareness where we can not only see what we’re doing and why, but we can also begin working with it consciously to resolve it. All manifestations produced by actions can be cancelled out and brought back into a balanced state by equalizing opposites. It’s only by realizing and owning our own part in things that we see clearly what we’re doing in any situation that acting to co-create it, whether passively or actively, that we can willfully change our own perceptions and behaviors. It’s by counteracting an idea that we transform it by reformulating it, bringing what’s out of balance (emphasized) and being done unconsciously back into balance through awareness that brings realization. The realization alone is what acts to dissolve and transform the illusion. To redeem ourselves from an attitude and the actions that result from it, is to form and embody the opposite attitude and action, and repeat it consistently until it becomes automatic and something that we do without thinking about it. We can only be transformed and evolved by what becomes a habit as an essential part of our nature (through reprogramming our subconscious).

Those of us who came into this life with many difficulties, challenges, and ordeals to overcome, are naturally walked through a process of initiation as soul purification, often without realizing it. Others intentionally choose a hard life because there’s a desire in them to meet and overcome difficulties. Still others refuse to compromise their dignity in a world that teaches conformity at the cost of morality, and in doing so, welcome the consequences of integrity, which can often seem brutal. All growth and development, in the sense of being the soul’s only true goal and purpose in life, is considered an act of love from a higher, spiritual perspective. It’s only when we’re challenged and overwhelmed and we reign as victor, that we’re exalted. The greater our fall, the more exalted our rising. It’s only when we push through tremendous odds, and when faced with devastation and wrought with unimaginable grief, in those darkest moments when we’re forced to reach down into our unknown depths of our self to find our true source of light and power that we ascend to the higher rungs by virtue of our own volition.

Spiritual DNA, the Soul’s Code, and the Subconscious Mind

 

As humans we have what we can think of as a three-fold nature as three minds operating in one body, which merely acts as the vehicle or instrument of the mind, which not only serves to operate the body, but is also what constructs it and gives it life. The three minds exist on multiple planes and correlate with three-dimensional reality of what we call the material world. The three minds, known as the higher or super-conscious, the lower or subconscious, and the conscious or self-conscious  minds, exist as a single unit or unified field as a vibratory frequency that has dual electromagnetic properties that are self-creating, self-perpetuating, and self-sustaining. The higher mind contains the two lower minds as inherent aspects of its dual nature, that all systematically emerge out of each other as a form of division that’s actually a form of regeneration, or in other words, one aspect births the other aspects as a form of growth process that undergoes a life cycle within the lower material realm.

The higher mind, which exists entirely on a higher parallel dimension in its whole state, descends into the lower material realm through a form of division, much like cellular mitosis which regenerates itself as a growth process while taking on specialized functions within a whole living organism. The higher mind or over-soul impregnates a living cell (embryo) with a form of blueprint as an etheric hologram that’s used for cellular specialization and spatial orientation in constructing the whole organism. This etheric holographic map serves to systematically organize the cellular growth of the living organism that is imbued with the same qualities and characteristics of the parents (higher mind-soul) that acted to create it by infusing an energetic code with Life-Force Energy, multiplying it and growing it out of nothing, through a process of self-regeneration.

The energetic code of the higher mind is a form of spiritual DNA as the soul’s code, and operates according to the same principles as the physical DNA, and together form a vehicle that’s of the same vibratory frequency or nature as the “soul-mind” that inhabits it through resonance and coherence. The soul attracts to and serves to give life to the body that’s of the same frequency, through a form of DNA match that’s comprised of various sorts of memory, which are compatible and ideally suited for each other. Just as our physical DNA has the memory and genetic code to structure the body, giving it distinct characteristics and tendencies, and carrying the memories of the ancestral bloodline, the soul is structured and comprised of memory from multiple lifetimes which are compatible to the ancestral memory of the body, and together, form a complementary and congruent experience of life as the “self”. All of life comes as a result of combinations, which through a process of natural selection (resonance) as dominant and recessive aspects of the same shared characteristics, form a new pattern or formula as a unique combination, which births a new variation, evolving it based on the expression of newly acquired characteristics and tendencies as temperament and disposition.

The higher mind is born into the lower, animal body as the subconscious mind, which contains the self-conscious mind as latent potential and gives birth to it as its offspring through a natural growth and development process. The subconscious mind, which is the aspect of the mind that we share with the animal and plant kingdom (living organisms), operate all the biological processes of our body in an automated and natural fashion, requiring no awareness on our part, and is what gives us our personality as our natural disposition, temperament, tendencies, and style of behaviors. The subconscious mind is passive and receptive in nature, and acts like a sponge to only absorb and imitate what’s around it. All of the formative conditioning which comes through the parents, living situation and conditions, and behavioral dynamics that it’s a functional part of, all serve to activate and bring out certain traits that are apart of both the ancestral memory and the soul memory, and together acts to set the stage for continued development and expression of the active components, while other memory remains dormant as latent potential that’s available to be activated and brought into expression through proper stimulus.

The self-conscious mind is birthed out of our subconscious mind around the age of seven or eight, and becomes predominantly active during adolescence. It’s during this time that we begin separating from our parents and forming our personal identity. Our “identity” (ego) is formed through our ability to begin thinking for ourselves, problem solving, making decisions, and forming an “image” of ourselves that create the experiences that we then use to self-create by how we identify or get a sense of ourselves within our own self-made experiences. The self-conscious mind is fully active and established around the age of twenty eight. We basically develop in four seven year increments, with the first two, birth through 14, establishing our subconscious formative conditioning where we create without any direct awareness as an extension of our family and environment, and 14 to 28, establishing our self-conscious, self-aware mind that’s fully identified with the body (subconscious) that birthed it. The self-conscious mind is imbued with choice and free will in order to actively separate from their parents and become their own person as an individual.

The self-conscious mind which establishes our identification as our body, social status, and lifestyle, is what’s commonly referred to as the ego. Yet ego and identity are actually the same thing, and in spiritual texts, the term ego is often used in place of identity. What, how, and who we become in life, is all about what and who we identify with or resonate and feel a connection to. The people we like and associate with, what type of experiences we create through the choices we make and the reality of those choices that we then “sense ourselves” through, is what forms the basis for the story we begin telling ourselves “about” ourselves that act to shape us as a certain type of person. We’re attracted to and naturally participate not only in certain types of situations and dramas, but also to certain roles within those situations and dramas.

As we become adults we establish our identity as a lifestyle that’s built out of all the components and conditioning that went into making us who we are, all of which originated and became established through predominantly unconscious means. Even when we develop our conscious mind and start becoming self-aware, our subconscious mind and conditioned tendencies are what formed our mental paradigm, perceptual lens, and the thematic story we used as the means of interpreting the events of our life to give them meaning and significance. So all of what we call “self-awareness” originated from our unconscious mind as natural tendencies and perceptual-behavioral patterns that we were already programmed with and continued expressing as a means of creating ourselves. All of our perceptions serve to validate us by justifying whatever it is we need in order to maintain our perspective on things, and to validate, defend and keep telling our story about things. Our story about our life, what happened to us that made us the way we are, about the way people are, and the way the world is, becomes the reality we use as a belief system to create a consistent and congruent experience of life that makes sense to us, and is how we “act on ourselves”, through our own mental perception to create ourselves.

The mind’s tendency to believe in its own illusions as the story born out of its conditioning as a trained mind-set that only utilized certain qualities and characteristics, while others remained latent, and forming their whole sense of self out of this body, these conditions, circumstances, and certain types of situations, is what forms a selective perception from a specific perspective as a self-imposed delusion that never recognizes that their true identity is as the creator of that story and not the effect of the story. When we mistakenly identify with our material circumstances and possessions, we create ourselves as mortal beings whose “self” dies with the body and is annihilated. This identification with the physical body simultaneously creates a fear of death and the tendency to desperately cling to life, without which, we would cease to exist.

The awakening, which forms the basis for rebirth, comes when we are finally able to realize in very clear terms, that we are not the product of our story, helpless to change it, and subject to it, but rather the one creating the story, and creating our “sense of self” by way of our own story about things. Once we become aware of this, we begin simultaneously realizing that we don’t have to tell this story as a means of creating ourselves in life, but we are free to tell whatever story we possess the latent and natural traits, talents, and characteristics for. We can realize the true reality of things, and by experiencing our ability to choose and willfully act out our choices, we can activate our latent potential, and by bringing it out and learning to express it by deliberately employing those aspects and abilities, learn how to tell a new type of story. A story that puts us in control as the author and choreographer of our story, and the main character. We can become whoever we want to be, if we simply realize this and are willing to give up our story about things, which means losing our identity for the brief time it takes to begin reforming it.

We’re all born with a dream for our life that lives inside of us and is known through our desire for it and imagining it as a form of soul memory. Our soul comes into life through the body with an intention for growth of some form, which only comes through utilizing our full potential for creating a certain type of experience through the story that we’re naturally designed to tell. First inwardly, by imagining and dreaming of it, then outwardly through taking action on it and willfully acting it out. All that’s required for actual growth and deliberate self-creation, is our willingness to give up and let go of our current story about things and about our life. Realizing that the only reason we’re attached to our story and don’t want to give it up, or feel that we can’t, is because we’ve built our identity out of it, and in giving it up, we won’t know “who we are”, which can overwhelm us with an extremely insecure and unsure feeling.

Our awakening as our second birth, comes as an identity crisis where whatever we’ve built our life around begins disintegrating, falling apart, no longer working, and going away, leaving us with a kind of “clean slate” to build ourselves anew. In order to build a different structure, you can’t use the same foundation or footprint. You have to completely destroy, tear down, and rework the ground that the new one is going to be built on. You have to have a completely different set of blueprints. This is why very few people actually engage in the true process of transformation and spiritual awakening, because it means completely giving up life as you know it, for an idea that’s largely unknown, obscure, and somewhat frightening. We fear change because we imagine the change is going to be worse instead of better, and we don’t have faith in our ability to actually pull it off. We’re so attached to our material existence that we can’t imagine life without it. Yet, what we often fail to realize is that all of our pain and suffering come from our attachments and addictions to whatever it is that causes us as divine beings to become associated to a mortal existence. Our belief in our mortality forms a tomb as a prison for the soul, inhibiting it from higher forms of expression as the creator of our life story, and who we truly are apart from our material body, possessions, roles and status, and our life circumstances. To shed the ego means to dissolve the “false ego”. To quit forming our identity out of our physical existence, and begin instead identifying and forming a love for the spiritual realm, our higher self, and sensing ourselves out of our divine spiritual soul instead.

Whatever we identify with, we bond ourselves to. By identifying with our material existence, we remain connected and attached to being incarnated in a material body, and we render ourselves (through choice) mortal and temporary in nature, with our “sense of self” dying with our body, instead of as immortal souls who live beyond the body in the true realm of the soul, which is purely spiritual, uninhibited, and eternal in nature. Those who remain identified with and only knowing themselves through their body, dies a thousand deaths, and remains a mortal being within the material realm of pain and suffering, a fate that’s willfully self-determined and a life sentence that’s self-imposed and regulated.

How to Change Bad Habits – Learning how to Operate your Mind

Using the Power of your Will to Change your Lifestyle

Many people seek to change what they’re doing and what practices they engage in that they find enjoyable, gratifying, or pleasurable somehow, and because they don’t realize that the only reason they experience these activities in that way, is because of how they’re using their mind and imagination to form internal representations of them. How we think about something forms an internal experience through what we associate with it. When we think about something in a way that makes it seem pleasurable, we form a strong desire for it, and we have trouble resisting it, or saying no when it’s available or offered to us, and giving it up can cause a form of pain and constant struggle where we experience suffering, simply because we don’t understand or realize that it’s our own mind and how it operates naturally that’s producing the reality of pleasure around an idea or activity.

All experience is a product of the mind, which directs and controls the activity of the body. Our behavior and actions are the direct expression of our thoughts about things as internal representations that form how we experience the outer world. We form internal reps by how we present ideas to ourselves in an imaginary form by what we associate with it that makes it seem either pleasurable and desirable, or painful and disgusting in some way. While many don’t realize that these natural internal processes are actually self-produced rather than automatic and beyond our control, and that because we produce them unconsciously, we can work to change them consciously. We simply have to become aware of how we represent ideas to ourselves by what sensory experiences we associate to them, or what other types of ideas we associate them with.

Whenever we think about and activity or doing something, a whole chain of association takes place, and we access memory of various sorts around the idea, and use it to form a representation of the idea that infuses it with the same type of experiences inherent in the memories. We use the associations to create a kind of sensory preview that acts as a template for creating our actual experience of it. We do this in what seems like a natural and automatic fashion because it’s a function of the subconscious mind, which means we don’t have a direct awareness of what we’re doing or why, unless we take a position of objectively observing what happens inside our mind whenever we’re contemplating an idea. When we learn to observe our own internal processes, we notice that as we’re considering doing something, we’re imagining the experience we’re going to have, and what it’s going to be like. We present the idea to ourselves, by infusing it with the qualities and sensory enhancements that create a desire for it, or a neutral take-it-or-leave-it position, or ones that make it undesirable or even repulsive and disgusting, which makes it very easy to resist or say no to.

Our subconscious produces all of our behaviors in a very natural and spontaneous way. The subconscious doesn’t think in “words” or through internal dialogue like the conscious mind, but rather in terms of “real life experiences” that are reproduced in the imagination as having the “experience of something”, much like a memory. So the way to work with our conscious mind to change the representations of our subconscious mind, which is necessary to change habits and addictions, is to learn how to work with our own imagination as mental and emotional previews that drive our behaviors. By changing what we associate to an idea or activity, and how we create our experience of it in our mind, we can make pleasurable ideas not pleasurable, or even distasteful and revolting, all based on what we associate to it as a way of creating the template through which we experience it. We can take an idea that we currently find pleasurable and reform it to be painful or disgusting somehow by not only infusing it with sensory qualities that are repulsive, but also associating it to other ideas or realities that we find undesirable. By restructuring our internal experience of something, we naturally change our outer behavior in response to it. In this way we can change undesirable habits in an automatic fashion that’s easy and doesn’t create a feeling of suffering.

A simple formula for learning to work with your own mind, is to sit quietly, and start self-reflecting; Think about a habit or addiction that you want to change, and what habit or activity you want to replace it with. As you think about the habit, notice how you present the idea to yourself by how you think about it, what sensory experience you create (what it looks like, feels like, tastes like, what sounds your hearing, what you’re telling yourself about it), and what meaning it has for you, what need is associated to it? Once you realize how you’re structuring your internal representation, and what other ideas you have associated with it (makes me feel better, relaxes me, comforts me, tastes good, makes me look good, etc.), you can begin realizing a kind of formula and what are the key components that make it compelling that you need to replace with other sensations and ideas that will change how you relate to them. By structuring them with a whole different kind of experience, that we play out in our mind as a reality, where we develop our desired response to it (makes me feel bad, smells terrible, looks disgusting, hurts me, will make me unattractive, etc.), as a natural response to it, or what immediately starts running through your mind in response to it. Once you get the imagined response just the way you want it, imagine yourself in an actual live situation where you’re encountering it, and run the new response to it through your mind, and repeat it several times, changing it slightly each time, until it becomes automatic and instantaneous. Until it comes automatically without thought.

If it involves giving up something that you regularly partake in, such as quit drinking soda pop, you should also form a clear idea of what you’re going to replace it with, such as tea, water, fruit juice, and so on. This way, when you’re in the moment where you normally engage in drinking soda pop, you’ll have an immediate idea of what to do instead. Whatever you replace it with, structure your internal representation so that its very pleasurable and makes you feel good about yourself and your decision, not only in sensory terms, but emotionally and psychologically in terms of what it means about you and what you’re creating as a result.

The basic formula for Creating a Positive Internal Representation:

  • Emotion: Associate a very positive emotional state with the desired behavior that makes it very compelling (excitement, relief, passionate, empowered, confident, etc.)
  • Sensory experience: what am I seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and smelling
  • Internal dialogue: What am I telling myself about it? What does it mean based on what I’m telling myself?
  • Associate other ideas to it that support it and make it desirable (being healthy, feeling good, helping someone, looking good, saving the planet, etc.).
  • What does this experience or activity mean about me as a person?
  • What’s its going to create in my life, or allow?

Once you realize how you’re structuring your internal experience, which makes it pleasurable and desirable, you can make new associations and infuse it with different qualities that will change how you think about it, how it makes you feel, and what you relate to it, or in what way you’re identifying with it. As with all things, we are the ones who create our own experiences of things, good or bad, and our internal experience forms the basis for our external experiences. The secret lies in your imagination and how you use it to create in your life. The secret of the will lies in the imagination.

Conscious Programming – “The Art of Self-Creation”

centering The conscious mind has the ability to program the subconscious mind, yet we have to first realize that they actually speak (work by) different languages. The conscious mind is abstract and thinks in terms of verbal language as words that lack behavior as actualizing, whereas the subconscious mind is experiential and emotional in nature and speaks in terms of pictures and sensory images as life-like realities that mimic actual memories. The conscious mind programs the subconscious (body awareness) through the imagination as an inner vision that transforms an abstract idea into a conceptualized reality. The imagination as the mind’s eye takes a basic idea, and through the process of applying it to a specific situation or set of circumstances, reinterprets it by personalizing it. We imagine it “as if” we were actually experiencing it as a real life situation. This creates the idea as a living pattern equivalent to a memory, which the subconscious uses to produce behavior that “acts out” the same scenario as a real life experience.   By imagining the desired idea as a reality, we not only create a pattern for application, but also create it as a believable possibility that we simultaneously identify with through the enactment. This creates the desired reality as an inner reality that the subconscious superimposes on the outer reality, organizing and reinterpreting it accordingly. The mind constructs realities by how it composes ideas to give them meaning. The meaning we give an idea determines how we experience it. Meaning shapes experience. It takes the imagined reality as an actual experience, which integrates and incorporates it through an accumulative effect that modifies the current paradigm as a system of beliefs based on memory (living realities) as a unification of the physical with the spiritual that provides a new template for generating thematic realities as analogous correspondences. It creates experiences that are of the same nature as a form of theme. universal We take an abstract idea as a universal theme, and create an inner reality as a template that produces a frequency that’s used to magnetize and organize the outer reality as being of a similar nature. It won’t be exactly the same as the inner imagining, because it can only use elements in the immediate environment that are of the same frequency and therefore lend themselves to telling the same type of story. The outer experience will be of the same nature and basic idea of the imagined reality based on what’s available in the immediate environment that can be used to orchestrate the experience as a congruent theme.   Ideas, as feeling experiences, represent a vibratory frequency that attracts what is of the same nature and therefore has the same inherent tendencies that can be used to express the same idea as a joint reality. Whatever is of a different frequency, likewise, is simultaneously repelled. We only “see” ourselves (what matches our paradigm) in others and our environment, even though many other possibilities coexist within the same space and time. What is of the same nature as us we not only notice and give attention to (it stands out), we simultaneously allow to enter into us (energetic sympathy), stimulating an inner reaction (resonance) to it as a result. This is what we refer to as chemistry that produces a natural interaction based on an affinity of sorts. unity When we allow ideas to readily and willingly be introduced into our mind, and take hold by thinking about them, we are allowing ourselves to be “programmed” by others or an external source. We then become subject to it because it acts to “tune us” to the same vibratory frequency as a joint reality that we create inward using our own mind. We allow ourselves to be determined – created – by outside forces. This is the result of the subconscious and passive aspect of the mind as our animalistic (body) nature that can be readily trained and domesticated by outside influences that we align with and allow to control us. We are influenced by another mind that imposes a direct influence on us, dominates by introducing an active force as an idea that’s willingly accepted by our passive and receptive mind, that controls us by absorbing and commanding our will.   When we give our will to the service of another by conforming to them, they act to control us and determine our behavior, which also shapes our identity accordingly. We enter into a sympathetic relationship with them, and through suggestion that acts to modify and manipulate our inner reality, we respond to them in a very predictable way. They train us to behave in a certain way by how they interact with us. Through the emotional quality of their communication, which acts as the hook for seating ideas in the imagination, allowing them to take hold long enough to develop them into personal realities by thinking about them in a compulsive manner. They “give us” emotional thoughts that are theirs, and we adopt them and then act to develop them as our own. This forms the basis of what we refer to as the “group mind” which is ultimately a form of subliminal mind entrainment designed to train people to certain types of behavior that they mistaken for their own.   Once we understand how we use our mind to self-create by creating internal realities that become the living patterns for outer realities of the same nature, we can withdraw our mental and emotional power from the group mind, and use our imagination to self-create in unique and individual ways instead. We can program our own mind and body by creating inner experiences of our desired reality, then enhancing them with sensory details, while infusing them with very positive emotions that magnetize them by making them compelling. Positive attracts and grows, negative repels and diminishes. To “become” by growing ourselves, is achieved through positive and active means, while allowing our negative, self-sabotaging aspects to fall away and subside, because we no longer keep them alive in our imagination. Fill your mind constantly with what you desire to experience and how you want to feel as a result.
