How we unknowingly create the Reality of our Beliefs as Delusions

There’s an interesting thing about beliefs that make them hard to realize as not being true. Anything that we belief to be true, and therefore real, we create through our ability to “see it” in any situation. We see it not as an actual reality in and of itself, but as an “interpretation” of reality. A belief is usually formed as an interpretation of reality rather than an objective observation of an actual event. We can have difficulty understanding the power of belief in forming our reality because we don’t understand that what we call “reality” is formed as our “perception”, and it’s our “mind” that producing our perception. The subconscious aspect of our mind is what serves to shape all of our outer perceptions of reality to match our inner perceptions by “what we tell ourselves” about something. Because our outer reality is produced by our subconscious in an automatic fashion (unconsciously), we lack “direct awareness” of the fact that we’re actually the “one” telling our subconscious what to produce through our very “thoughts”.

If we look at the true nature of how a belief is constructed we can gain awareness around how it is that we’re creating our reality with our thoughts and intention. A belief doesn’t originate as an objective observation of reality that exists independent of us, but results rather from the “meaning” we give things by what we tell ourselves about them. Most people don’t realize that our internal dialogue as our thought processes is how we use “one aspect” of our mind to communicate with and direct the creative process of “another aspect” of our mind. What we consciously think about and picture in our mind as an inner experience of reality is actually directing our subconscious on what to create as a consistent and ongoing outer reality of the same nature and kind.

Another common mistake that results from a lack of self-awareness in understanding our own creative ability to produce our reality, comes by perceiving beliefs as being singular and independent of each other, rather than resulting from a “dynamic system of correlated beliefs”. As children, we have the full capacity of our subconscious mind, while our logical, rational, reasoning mind hasn’t developed yet. It’s the rational and discriminating “thought producing” aspect of our mind that acts as the “gatekeeper” to our subconscious, and has the ability to rationally evaluate and logically analyze ideas in order to “decide” what to “let in and take hold”, and what to reject and keep out. When only the subconscious is dominantly active, we readily take in and internalize whatever we witness happening around us and whatever it is we’re told is true and real. We have no ability to discriminate and simply create the reality of whatever we’re taught. Because we can create any idea as an imaginary experience that makes it seem real, we form a belief around it as being real and therefore true.

It’s our conscious, thinking mind of outer awareness that perceives a world of separation and tells stories about things as being apart from and independent of us, while the subconscious sees everything as connected and related and simply acts to internalize whatever is happening to make it “about us” personally. While in our subconscious, group mind, we imagine that we’re apart of everything that’s happening around us, and that whatever someone says about us is describing us in some way, and we form all of our initial beliefs accordingly. As children we perceive ourselves as being a part of our family unit and intimately connected to our parents. We imagine that their pain and sorrow is somehow our fault or because of us, and that we can change it by changing ourselves. In a similar manner we can have a tendency to believe that we can also make them happy or take away their pain by doing something special or changing how we’re acting.

As children, all of our perceptions stem from our emotions and we form our initial beliefs about ourselves and life in general out of emotional states we acquired from our parents and family dynamics. Whatever they were feeling and outwardly expressing, we feel to, and whatever we hear them saying about us or talking about with others, we take in without discretion and internalize as being a fact. Because we create it internally as an imaginary reality based on feelings, we perceive it as being real and therefore true. We listen to whatever is being said about us and we form a belief around it without questioning it, and it becomes a form of self-fulfilling prophecy. The subconscious isn’t literal like the conscious mind, and creates out of thematic ideas that it uses as metaphors.

If our parent has a tendency to scold us by telling us to “quit acting like an idiot”, we don’t have the evaluation skills to associate it with a particular behavior or act, and instead come to believe that we’re an idiot as a general rule. If our parent is upset and crying, or lashing out in anger, telling us that we ruined their life, we translate that into meaning we’re not loved or wanted, and we begin acting that way as a general theme that carries over into every aspect of our life. Once we internalize an idea and make it into an experience of reality as meaning something about us and about how others see us, it becomes a “core belief” as a primary life theme, which, as we go along we continue to create more experiences of the same kind in different relationships and situations, spawning correlating beliefs of a similar nature.

Our parent(s) not wanting us becomes everybody not wanting us. We develop all of our relationships in a way that results in us being rejected, ridiculed, blamed, disliked, and abandoned in the most basic sense. We then form a belief that everyone, our romantic partner, friends, and co-workers don’t want us, and we not only go into every situation with an attitude, intention, and expectation of not being wanted, we also unconsciously produce the behaviors that cause us to not be wanted. We often display an attitude of treating others in a way that makes them feel unwanted by us, causing them to respond to us in a like manner. The very behavior and reality we expect we also unconsciously produce that causes us to consistently be rejected, ignored, abandoned, or left out in the cold.

Because this is an unconscious process, we usually do it without any real awareness of what or how it is we’re doing it. Then, when the other person or group responds in kind by thinking that we don’t like or want to be around them, we create the experience of “once again” not being loved or wanted. Beliefs are the unconscious formula for consistently producing the reality of the belief that bridges the inner, imagined reality with the outer, actual reality to be of the same nature as a “type of experience”. We can have a tendency to do this our whole life without ever realizing that we’re actually the one doing it to ourselves and others.

The Nature of Core Beliefs

 We all form our core beliefs as our mental model produced in our formative years as our initial conditioning. A core belief is created while we’re in a primarily unconscious state as an imaginary reality produced by the emotion we were feeling at the time we formed it. A belief is a holistic pattern as a “model” used for perceiving that contains every ingredient (emotion, mood, thought, imagined reality, set of behaviors, memories, etc.) necessary to produce the reality of the belief, except for the rational, logical, and reasoning aspect. A core belief is used as the means for providing us with an “instant interpretation” of reality that transforms every objective fact or situation into the reality of the belief, making it difficult for us to realize that we’re the one creating it. Due to the fact that it appears to us as an honest evaluation of what’s actually happening, we can interpret even the most loving and caring behaviors to mean the opposite. When someone openly demonstrates wanting to be with us, we don’t trust it, think they’re lying, and instead of using it as evidence that contradicts and undermines our belief, we reshape it to conform to our belief, and continue to act as if it’s true.

This usually results from the fact that our entire paradigm used for perceiving the world is structured out of our core beliefs as a correlated system that all acts to explain, describe, validate, and justify our beliefs through every aspect of our perception. We usually don’t know how to accept a contradictory idea as possibly being true and create an experience of “being loved and wanted”. We don’t know how to “be” in that situation. We don’t know how to act as if we’re wanted. We’ll literally fight, accuse, and challenge anyone who claims to want us, until it makes them “not want us anymore”. Then we think, “ah ha, I knew it, you were just lying the whole time”, usually without realizing that we were hell-bent on creating it the whole time. We have no model for how to be in a situation where we honestly feel loved and wanted, and so we don’t know how to act.

Likewise, someone who believes they’re an “idiot” or stupid will continuously produce the behaviors that warrant them being called an idiot, because they don’t have a model for “being” smart. For this reason our belief system as our mental paradigm is only transformed through a gradual process of realizing our beliefs and consciously deciding to “question them” by considering contradictory evidence that will ultimately serve to modify them. It’s only through a continuous process of study and self-reflection that we’re able to begin incorporating new information that serves to grow and evolve our current ideas about our self and our life.

We can begin realizing our own unconscious tendencies and correct them through consciously developing new concepts of ourselves, embodying new feelings and qualities, and intentionally employing new ways of being and behaving. As we begin looking at life from a new perspective while intentionally embodying qualities as a new way of being, we can learn how to begin telling a new kind of story about our life. This is something that only we can do for ourselves through self-awareness that brings realization around the creative nature of our mind and our ability to create and transform ourselves. If someone else tries to interject contradictory evidence that discredits our beliefs about our self, we’ll argue to defend them as being true and accurate. And, as the saying goes . . . “whatever we argue to defend is ours to keep”. We have to open our mind in being willing to consider a new possibility for ourselves.

Defining Reality – Objective, Subjective, and the Nature of Illusion

There tends to be a constant form of confusion around the idea of what we call “reality” in the objective sense, and the nature of subjective reality as a personal experience. Whenever the term “illusion” or “delusion” is used, it’s referring to the subjective reality that we all create out of or in place of the objective, neutral and meaningless reality we all share in common. So let’s break these interrelated ideas down by describing and explaining them separately . . . .

Objective Reality

What we refer to as objective reality is the one that we all share in common and exists in a neutral state that’s void of meaning. This is what we can think of as the “unified field of information” that contains all attributes, qualities, archetypes, images, life-forms, and so on, that lays the foundation necessary for creating individual realities that are cohesive and correlated to the overall shared reality. This is the field of possibility that exists before anything is filtered out, abstracted and reformulated by the individual mind. In an outdoor setting we all see and hear the same trees, sky, bushes, flowers, sidewalk, cars, buildings, etc. In an indoor setting we all see the same furnishings, artwork, plants, people, and so on, as the basic elements that make up that environment.

When we share an environment or event, we’re all submerged in and a part of the same group information that’s available to everyone involved as a means of forming our perception and experience of the situation. This can be thought of as the universal, archetypal reality of the collective unconscious or mass consciousness of humanity (and Nature) as the group mind of the earth plane. This is a global reality that’s comprised of common elements.

Subjective Reality

What we refer to as subjective reality is the one that’s naturally created by the individual mind as their perception and how they form their own individual “experience” of the objective reality through an internal process. Our experience of the external world is formed by our mental paradigm as the informational structure of our mind formed out of accumulated memory. Our mental paradigm basically consists of our habitual mood, values, beliefs, preferences, and memories. As we form a “value” of some kind, a mental filter is created and set in place that acts to filter all the information that’s available in any given situation, abstracting and causing to stand out whatever pertains to our value in some way – whether for or against it.

Likewise, as we form a belief about something it sets up a series of mental filters that bring forward in our outer reality only what matches and can be used in a cohesive manner to create the reality of our belief. All other information that doesn’t pertain to our belief recedes and fades into the background where it goes largely unnoticed. We don’t use it in order to create our experience. By way of this natural process of filtering and only using certain parts of the information available in the whole, we act to naturally perceive our beliefs as an actual reality, making them seem real and because of this we don’t realize their beliefs. Preferences as likes and dislikes do the same thing. Filters are created based on preferences that produce a feeling of harmony or discord and become attributes that aid in shaping our experiences.

Our memories serve as a kind of metaphorical filter that we look through that brings to the foreground in an enhanced manner whatever can be used in a situation to create the same type of experience as the memory. Our memories set the basis for all of our intentions and expectations in a situation. Whatever expectation we hold as a preconceived notion forms a predisposition and acts to only select and utilize the information that’s necessary to create what we expected.

Our mind acts as an information processing mechanism that’s always sorting out information and reorganizing it into unique configurations as a means of creating our experiences of any given set of circumstances. Our mental model exists as a kind of “theme” (frequency) that consistently produces the same type of reality that’s unique to us as our own creation. Every personal experience is the expression of one possibility out of an infinite number of possibilities. And every person will form a unique version of reality out of the same overall reality as their perception of it.

Perception, Meaning, and the Nature of Experience

Our perception in any situation is formed by the perceptual filters set into place as the means of sorting through billions of bits of information to abstract only a handful and reconfigure it into a new idea as an “interpretation” of the data selected. The data obtained in any situation is abstract and void of meaning until it’s interpreted. Out of a small amount of selected information we form our interpretation as a means of creating our experience by the “meaning” we give it by how we reform it internally as a congruent part of an ongoing story.

The meaning we give things forms our internal dialogue as a kind of story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about things. We take the information naturally selected as a match to our values, preferences, and beliefs and further modify them by how we adapt them to the ongoing story we’re always in the process of telling as a means of explaining and describing things. This ongoing story that we’re always in the process of telling is what gives things the meaning they have for us and ultimately becomes a kind of “life theme” that produces a consistent version of reality. Through a simple process of self-observation you’ll notice that there’s always one part of you talking to another part of you.

The very act of observing and perceiving something reorganizes the different aspects of it, enhancing and strengthening some, while downplaying and ignoring others, reshaping it into a new variable as a means of experiencing it. Any belief that we form becomes a filter that not only determines what we see or don’t see in a situation, but also determines how we interpret it to give it the meaning that it has. Things only mean what we say they mean. This forms another fundamental misconception. All meaning is subjective in nature and varies with every single person. We create our experience of any situation or event based on the meaning we give it and what we “tell ourselves” about it as a result.

What something means to us is based on our values and what’s important or not important to us, what we believe to be true and thereby use as a means of evaluating it for accuracy, and the memories we associate with it as a means of interpreting it. Our memories not only act to shape our values and what we come to believe or disbelieve, but are in return shaped out of our values and beliefs, which all act together in a cohesive manner to spawn each other while also serving to support, validate, and justify each other in forming a coherent version of reality that’s consistent and always makes sense to us.

Our values, beliefs, preferences, and memories work together to produce a coherent model as a dynamic series of mental filters that function to only perceive the information in the whole that can be used to construct the reality of our mental paradigm. Each person acts to develop their own mental model which is used to produce a subjective variation of an objective neutral reality as the means of creating. Our experience of reality is something we’re (our mind) always creating. While others may act to give us the subliminal suggestions that become our subconscious programming, we are always the one accepting and integrating it into our mental paradigm and then utilizing it as a means of creating ourselves.

For example, a person who forms a belief that they’re “not wanted” will interpret any situation or actions of another to mean that. They’ll only see in any situation what they can use as the means of creating an experience of not being wanted, and are constantly acting to validate their own beliefs. Even when someone does want them and demonstrates that through their actions and how they treat them, they’ll still interpret it in whatever way they need to as a means of creating the experience of not being wanted. This tendency and natural ability to skew reality to make it mean whatever we decide to, is what’s commonly referred to as an “illusion”.

Illusions that become Delusions

When we form convincing realities out of our beliefs (which is a natural function of the mind), it forms an illusion that we use as the means of deceiving and deluding ourselves. This means it’s only real to us and nobody else sees it or experiences it in the same way that we do. The same situation will cause one person to feel not wanted, while another may feel they’re being coerced or manipulated, while still another may find it friendly and inviting. Each person will interpret the same behaviors and activities to mean different things and create entirely different types of experiences based on their subconscious programming. Every person that’s a part of the same situation is experiencing it in a different way based on how it’s filtered through their mental paradigm.

 We don’t ever change the objective outer reality directly in terms of what everyone else is also seeing, but rather how it “appears” to us. All things take on the appearance they do as a reflection of the mind viewing them and acting to shape them as a mental projection. The same objective reality appears different to each individual observing and producing an experience of it. As we turn an objective reality into a personal version as our experience, we become subject to our own creation. As we create our own experience of reality, we sense ourselves “as” and “through” our experience, and we shape our perception of our “self” to be the same.

We “become” whatever we believe about ourselves as an experience, and by what we tell ourselves about things that make them mean what they do. As we assign meaning to things we form our story about our self out of them by experiencing our self “through them”. As we form realities out of our beliefs, they become delusions that we willfully maintain even when situations serve to contradict or disprove them. Most people will argue to defend their beliefs about things rather than change them. They fall in love with their own opinions while mistaking them for being true. As we tell our story about things we build our identity around them and use them as a means of explaining what happened to us that made us the way we are, and rather than changing our inner world we expect the outer world to somehow magically change instead. This is because we don’t realize that the outer world is being created by our inner world as a correspondence.

Delusion and how we Deceive Ourselves

Our core beliefs are formed by us as children based on how we interpreted intense emotional events before we developed our ability to reason and logically analyze them in an objective manner. As children, we’re in a purely unconscious and subjective state where everything is about us. The primary beliefs we formed out of emotional states became the premise and mental filters out of which we formed all of our other beliefs. The story we began telling ourselves as a child in order to try and make sense of emotionally charged experiences, formed the basis for our mental model out of which we processed all information as a means of creating our perception of reality. It became our subconscious programming that formed the basis for all of our experiences. Whatever we program our subconscious with as an “imaginary emotionally intense idea” becomes the basis for reality as an experience. Because we can experience the reality of our beliefs we don’t realize that they’re only true due to our ability to create them through our perception of them.

We don’t form individual beliefs about things, but rather form a system of beliefs that are compatible and serve to support, justify, validate, and prove each other. This is why experiences that contradict a single belief or perspective is usually ignored, argued against, or discredited using other beliefs, and the belief maintained instead, and sometimes even strengthened as a result. To change a belief requires changing the core belief spawning it, which comes only through a shift in awareness that alters and modifies our paradigm.

All beliefs are formed out of our mental model and can only be changed by incorporating new information that modifies the whole structure. This only comes through direct experience that’s contemplated as a consideration that’s allowed to take hold in the imagination where it’s formed into a possible, and therefore “believable” reality as an internal experience. We can only comprehend what we can form as an internal representation, and we can only do what we can first imagine ourselves doing.

This natural process of the individual mind in creating reality by imagining it is what’s referred to as replacing objective reality with illusions that become a form of delusion. When we don’t realize how our own mind works to create our reality, and we’re always operating out of an unconscious state, our tendency towards self-deception is enormous and often very compelling. This results from the fact that we don’t understand how our own mind works and haven’t developed the skill in knowing how to operate it consciously. Because the most powerful aspect of our mind operates without our direct awareness we don’t realize its power to create. Through a lack of true self-awareness we become subject to our own creations instead of mastering our ability to create. Anytime we live out of the story of our formative conditioning as the basis for our perceptions and means of interpreting the events of our life, we live a life of delusion and unknowingly act on ourselves to deceive ourselves.

Summary:

What we’ve come to call “reality” is a very elusive idea that’s constantly being reshaped to take on a new and unique appearance based on the mind interacting with it. Each individual cultivates their own mental model which acts as a filtering system for abstracting certain information in any situation and reorganizing it by how they interpret it to give it meaning. The meaning we give things shapes how we form our experience of it. Our experience comes as our feelings and internal dialogue as what we tell ourselves about it while reforming it in our mind as a internal representation. Meaning, like the mind creating it, is threefold in nature. Whatever we make something mean through our story about it means the same thing about us, other people, and the world in general. Whatever beliefs we form about ourselves, we also use as the means of shaping others and the events of the world to be of the same nature and idea. Every aspect of our reality supports every other aspect, and serves to prove and justify it as being real and therefore true.

We create a subjective experience of reality from a completely unconscious state, and as a result, don’t realize what we’re doing. We don’t realize our mind’s own power to create, and so we imagine we have no control over it. We can live our whole life feeling as though everything is happening “to us” and beyond our ability to change it. Because we’re programmed subconsciously at an early age, we consistently grow up in the reality being produce by our programming, and don’t realize we’re the one actually creating it. Once we begin realizing how our own mind works to form beliefs around whatever we’ve been taught, we can become self-aware and recognize how it is we’re doing it. Once we begin realizing and forming a practical understanding of how our mind works to create our experiences of reality, we can begin operating it in an intentional and deliberate manner by learning how to program ourselves to produce the type of experiences we want.

Creativity – The Relationship between Choice, Will, and Creating Reality

It doesn’t take long to realize that in life all things exist in relationship to each other. There’s really no such thing as an independent or solitary act. Everything comes as a result of something else, or as a synchronized series of events that play out over a period of time. While we can say that “no choice” is a choice, or that unconscious decisions that are seemingly made without awareness or in a deliberate manner, that are based primarily on feelings, emotions, or impulses of some sort, are still using your will because you’re willingly acting them out, this is passive use of the will that likewise creates in our life in an unconscious manner. Choice and will, like all faculties of the mind and soul, exist in both active and passive form based on awareness and deliberate action, or without direct awareness and in an automatic fashion. Anytime we’re aware of choice, and we negotiate it in an intentional manner, it usually comes as a decision between a conditioned response and a conflict of some sort as a conscience or inner awareness that makes us hesitate and resist it, and so we look for other options. Whenever we make an “actual” and true decision in a fully aware and intentional manner, we naturally leave all other options we were previously debating behind and move forward to create the choice we’ve made as our reality. We remove our attention from all other ideas, become single-minded, focusing exclusively on the reality of our choice, and we direct all of our attention and actions into creating it. Once our mind is made up and all conflict dissolves, our only movement becomes directed by the imagined reality of our decision, and we act systematically to create it. This is why “choice and free will” are always presented together, because they’re different aspects of the same creative process. If we experience the inability to do something that we believe we’ve chosen to do, it’s due to the fact that we haven’t truly made the decision for it, but are still bartering, debating, and negotiating it. It can be showing us that we still harbor inner conflict around it, still have attachments of some kind to what we’re deciding against, or we have conflicting beliefs and values of some sort that are holding us to indecision. Often our emotions and feelings are contradicting it or wanting something different than our rational, reasoning mind, and so our mind is divided. Anytime there’s a division between the subconscious and conscious mind, with one aspect of the mind acting to contradict or counteract the other one, we sit in limbo not knowing what to do, always going back and forth, sabotaging our own efforts, never actually able to settle on one or the other, until someone or something makes the decision for us and we no longer have a choice in the matter. While there’s a tendency for society to tell you to pick “one over the other”, to follow your heart and not your mind (as if they’re different things), the fact is, it’s always about a balance between the two. An alignment that forms a single mind as a single goal, free of all conflict, that works dynamically in-sync with each other to create the reality of that choice. Anytime we pose one aspect against another, we’re doomed to failure or a seeming success that merely forms the foundation for inner turmoil and conflict to play out as a constant realization of betraying ourselves in some way. Thought and emotion, intellect and feeling, heart and head, are always unified, one producing and sustaining the other. There’s no such thing as a division in the true sense of the word. The masculine and feminine aspects are only capable of creating when forming union that produces an offspring that’s a combination of the two. They always act in unison as “one idea” that produces the material reality as a correspondence of that idea. The Power of Emotions Making a “true decision” where all aspects are aligned and agree, can often be quite difficult, and may actually come over a period of time while different aspects that negate the desired outcome in some way are played out and explored in greater depth, so that the necessary realizations can be obtained, which serves to confirm what you need to decide. Our subconscious, which is the seat of all of our conditioning as our mental paradigm, habitual tendencies, regular emotional states, and dynamics that are magnetic and compulsive in nature, seeks only to maintain the status quo as a form of self-preservation by continuing to play out the thematic dynamics that we’ve built our identity around, and need to keep playing out somehow in order to maintain our “sense of self”. We keep casting ourselves in the roles we know how to play, and telling the story we know how to tell and do so in a natural, automatic, and compulsive fashion. We’re magnetically drawn to it even when intellectually and through reasoning we know we don’t want to be or shouldn’t. It works through our emotions, which are often gripping and intense, holding us captive to passions and intense emotional experiences that saturate our body with the chemistry and hormones of the emotions, satisfying a form of addiction. Emotions, being the motivating force of the subconscious mind and body, which is habitual and automatic in nature, are habit forming and we literally become addicted to them, even when we hate ourselves for doing it. Emotions, which are the driving force of instinct, are designed to produce automatic behavior that don’t require will, thought and decision, or self-awareness of any kind. We become addicted to pain just as easily as we do pleasure, because they’re both a drug produced internally that we become dependent on and use not only to create and maintain our state of mind, but also to create our reality out of, which is how we act in an indirect manner on ourselves to create ourselves. Anytime emotions and passions go against reasoning and rational thought, they nearly always win, because they’re experience as a strong internal sensation that’s very compelling with a form of urgency, whereas clear thought is more neutral and something we seem to experience in more of a dissociated perspective of witnessing as being outside of or above the situation looking at it from the perspective of a “whole” rather than in it as a “part of it”. Once emotions take hold and grip us in some way, usually through memory of some kind that’s used to create in the present, it tends to cloud and control our thinking through a form of seductive persuasion, making it difficult to resist. When this happens, decisions usually come as a gradual process, where once the desire to change becomes persistent, and we continue playing out the emotional dramas preventing us from implementing them, we begin having realizations about them that start dissolving the illusion we’ve built around them, loosening their grip, and they begin disintegrating and falling away. Once we have a notion as the desire to change in some manner, breaking an established pattern, it tends to steadily grow until it reaches fruition as an actual decision that we begin acting on to make it an actual reality, leaving the old behind and starting something new. The Power of Belief In a like manner, we can appear to have made a decision, and started it in motion, while maintaining a belief of some kind that prevents it, causes a feeling of conflict somehow, or results in what seems like the inability to take action, or not knowing what to do. Beliefs can be quite difficult to identify because they form the very basis of our experience of reality, and we often mistake them as being “fact or true”. Belief and the reality formed from it is the most basic and prevalent demonstration of the “power of the mind to create reality”. We create the experience of our beliefs perfectly without realizing that it’s our own creation, and is not real or true at all in the objective sense. Because many of them come from actual experience in terms of how we “interpreted” the events of our life by telling ourselves a story about them, we don’t realize that we actually made them up using our imagination (will). Likewise, we’re also taught certain ideas that we accepted as being factual or true, and use as the foundation for building entire networks that are all based on the same belief system, and accepting the ideas of others that were given to us and willingly adopted by us as our own thoughts. Usually the only way to upsurge a belief and bring it back into a fluid and negotiable state, is by introducing contradictory evidence that proves it wrong, one-sided, or reveals it as a skewed version. While many choose instead to argue against, deny, or ignore altogether anything that serves to shine light on the validity of long held beliefs, this too is a decision that we willingly act out and employ as the means of creating the reality it implies. When we always act to defend our beliefs instead of being willing to consider other possibilities, we condemn ourselves to the confinement of the reality of those beliefs. When we feel we’ve made a clear and conscious decision to change our life in some way, no longer running on memory and autopilot, and are confronted with what seems like the inability to act in order to create it, or the “path to take” in moving in the new direction, it’s usually due to a conflicting and limiting belief of some sort. We know when both aspects of our mind are in alignment with each other when we make a decision that lacks any kind of inner conflict, and we feel a sense of passion and urgency in acting to create it. We don’t have to figure anything out, we’re not stumped or confused, lacking motivation of the drive to do it, but instead, from that point on direct all of our attention and energy into actively moving forward on it and systematically producing it. Knowing What to Do The idea of being aware of the need or ability to make a decision puts us in the position of actually creating in a conscious and intentional manner. We create our decisions by focusing and concentrating our full attention on them, and consistently acting on them in whatever way is immediately apparent. We move forward with the attitude of being and doing. It’s very natural for us to not necessarily “know what to do” or how to be when we’re stepping into something new, because we don’t have memory or previous experience to go on. All new actions and creations come to us, not as a whole idea or plan laid out in detail for us to follow, but as a desire for what we’ve chosen, and a notion about how to start. If we simply act on what we know to do while remaining focused on our intention and desired outcome, it starts a process in motion that comes as an intuitive and synchronistic unfolding where one idea leads to another, and investigating or penetrating one aspect reveals the next aspect as the “next step”. We’re often required to have faith in the fact that if we simply act on what we do know and therefore step into it and start the process in motion, that the next step will become apparent. Stepping into the Unknown All well laid out “action plans”, so to speak, come as the result of rehashing and reformulating past memories to form what appears to be a new idea, yet in reality, is merely a new version of an old idea. When we form a truly new idea as a reality for creating, it usually comes through a part of us that’s always been there, urging us on to “become” who we truly are as our dream for our life that we negotiated away in an attempt to conform to the ideas of society imposed on us and the need to fit in, and we step into the flow of life by embracing an inspiration that comes to us seemingly from out of nowhere (though its often been there forever), that takes hold within us, becoming relentless and persistent. Once we receive it as an intimate connection that appeals to our true self, urging us on and encouraging us, it can almost become an obsession. An idea for our life that we can’t seem to let go of because it speaks to us with a vivid honesty as a form of promise that restores hope and the fulfillment of our true purpose and mission in life. All truly inspired ideas come to us by resonating with our deepest parts, the ones that we remain unfamiliar with while having a deep longing for, crying out to be free, shrouded and suffocated by illusions that we blindly accept as our fate, surrendering our true destiny and condemning our soul to a wasted and meaningless life. These form the big, life-altering decisions. The ones that are truly difficult to make, because in doing so, our identity and who we’ve been up to that point becomes compromised, and is no longer validated and sustained. To follow it, make the decision to surrender to our higher calling, means our entire previous life situation and roles will change, sometimes drastically, and we’ll be left scrambling, faced with the unknown, new conditions and circumstances, a new way of being that requires trust and a belief in ourselves and our inherent ability to know what to do when faced with brand new options that only guarantee uncertainty. When we make a decision to be and do something different in our life, especially when we’re older and have an established lifestyle and habitual patterns that we’ve built our identity around, where we have no past memory to go off of, we realize that the path unfolds through the series of decisions we’re making moment by moment as we go. In this total newness comes true creativity. Every decision, no matter how minute, becomes about “who am I?” What do I want to create? Who am I going to be, here, now, in this moment? What am I going to do, how am I going to act, and what consequences will result? We start getting a true feeling for how we actually create our lives through our everyday choices and actions, often for the first time as an adult. Once we’re cast into a life that we just sort of ended up in through an unconscious and natural process of growing up, where decisions seem to be made for us by our situation and responsibilities, and we fall into the habit of making decisions in an unconscious manner where they’re made for us or we simply accept them, and even when we maintain an awareness of what we want to do instead, we choose to give it up in favor of what we feel we need and should do. After a while we find ourselves living life in an automatic and habitual fashion where the only decisions we have to make is what to eat for dinner, or what to watch on TV, and even those decisions can be made for us by others. We can slowly fall into the reality of never having to make decisions and actually creating something new, and instead just act to maintain the habitual pattern already established and go with the flow by coasting through our life. To make true decisions that bring about change and create in a conscious way requires a form of courage and willingness to create something new and unfamiliar. It can mean giving up security and established success, or a glorified self-image, and wiping the slate clean, starting all over with a brand new idea for yourself and your life. When we make one decision and actually act to create the reality of that decision, it naturally leads to the need to consistently make more decisions, because you’re the creator and they’re not being made for you by someone else. When this happens a new sense of freedom comes about, and you start getting a real sense of who you actually are. Anytime and unconscious process becomes conscious, we gain tremendous insights into unfamiliar aspects of ourselves that remained hidden, subdued, or just barely out of sight. Naturally with this awareness and freedom comes the true responsibility for what we create and who we become through our own volition. We can no longer dodge responsibility or blame our shortcomings on others. This realization alone can be as terrifying as it is empowering.         Many people go through their entire life with decisions that are being made for them by others, or simply complying with the general consensus and trained mindset of society. Many “fall into a situation” in what seems like a haphazard method of chance, because they were creating from an unaware state with no realization of the consequences or end results of the actions. Many start off not knowing for sure what they want to do, then as they go along just end up in situations that seem to dictate the course of their life for them, and they feel trapped, or something about it becomes more important than their freedom to decide, and so they choose it instead, going with it till the situation ends or drastically changes somehow, then, they’re right back where they started. Drifting aimlessly into an abyss with no sense of purpose or vision for their life, scared and filled with an unbearable sense of dread and insecurity. Having lived so long without the ability to create through active use of choice and will, they feel lost and confused, and as if they have no ability to move their life in a new direction. Usually, without even knowing what direction they want their life to move in. When this happens, they usually simply find a new situation that they can wrap themselves around, and continue on their way, choosing to remain unconscious in the most basic sense of the word. Creativity All true creativity comes through a balanced and aligned mind, where feelings, emotions, and desire are the motivating force and formative factor of thought as an imagined idea. To decide on something is to choose an idea that you then act to willfully create. You direct all of your attention (undivided mind) and activities into the fulfillment of your decision. Choice gives us a vision as a firm idea that we’re then required to create. In this same way, an artist decides what feeling they want to capture and express by becoming one with it. They envision that idea as a sensory reality in a way that invokes a love for it, and then they go about doing what’s necessary to create it. They engage in whatever course of action is necessary to produce it. Naturally this requires great skill that only comes through constant practice and a sense of diligence. So if you’re struggling with creating what you want, or making the necessary decisions in your life to better it somehow, and you’re always going back and forth, or never actually being able to bring yourself to do what seems like a “big move”, just allow yourself to reflect on and become aware of all that comes up in relation to it as a conflicting feeling or idea. Then, go into each conflicting idea in depth in order to gain whatever realization about it that you need in order to make a true decision as to whether or not to continue with it, tweak and reformulate it, or leave it behind and quit thinking about it altogether. As you gain insight into what it is that’s preventing you from making a decision, you’ll know what other decisions you need to make first. Because decisions for change require sacrifice of some kind, they can produce a lot of inner turmoil that will need resolving in order to reside peacefully in that decision. We know when we’ve actually made a decision because we’re no longer debating it while considering other options, and we simply go about creating it. We hold an idea firmly in our mind with no inner conflict or anxiety around what we have to give up in achieving it, and we feel a sense of purpose and inspiration in regards to it. A feeling of devotion and dedication to it fills us, and we feel peaceful and content in the reality of it. All distractions fade away and focus all activity towards producing it. We move forward with a clear conscience and a feeling of certainty, and no longer look back or miss what we left behind. We’re filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation, alive with the true power to create the life we desire in an intentional and deliberate manner. We gain a new sense of ourselves that becomes a self-perpetuating force, and we fall in love with life as our own creation and ourselves as our own creator. Creativity – The Relationship between Choice, Will, and Creating Reality

 

It doesn’t take long to realize that in life all things exist in relationship to each other. There’s really no such thing as an independent or solitary act. Everything comes as a result of something else, or as a synchronized series of events that play out over a period of time. While we can say that “no choice” is a choice, or that unconscious decisions that are seemingly made without awareness or in a deliberate manner, that are based primarily on feelings, emotions, or impulses of some sort, are still using your will because you’re willingly acting them out, this is passive use of the will that likewise creates in our life in an unconscious manner. Choice and will, like all faculties of the mind and soul, exist in both active and passive form based on awareness and deliberate action, or without direct awareness and in an automatic fashion.

Anytime we’re aware of choice, and we negotiate it in an intentional manner, it usually comes as a decision between a conditioned response and a conflict of some sort as a conscience or inner awareness that makes us hesitate and resist it, and so we look for other options. Whenever we make an “actual” and true decision in a fully aware and intentional manner, we naturally leave all other options we were previously debating behind and move forward to create the choice we’ve made as our reality. We remove our attention from all other ideas, become single-minded, focusing exclusively on the reality of our choice, and we direct all of our attention and actions into creating it. Once our mind is made up and all conflict dissolves, our only movement becomes directed by the imagined reality of our decision, and we act systematically to create it. This is why “choice and free will” are always presented together, because they’re different aspects of the same creative process.

If we experience the inability to do something that we believe we’ve chosen to do, it’s due to the fact that we haven’t truly made the decision for it, but are still bartering, debating, and negotiating it. It can be showing us that we still harbor inner conflict around it, still have attachments of some kind to what we’re deciding against, or we have conflicting beliefs and values of some sort that are holding us to indecision. Often our emotions and feelings are contradicting it or wanting something different than our rational, reasoning mind, and so our mind is divided. Anytime there’s a division between the subconscious and conscious mind, with one aspect of the mind acting to contradict or counteract the other one, we sit in limbo not knowing what to do, always going back and forth, sabotaging our own efforts, never actually able to settle on one or the other, until someone or something makes the decision for us and we no longer have a choice in the matter.

 

While there’s a tendency for society to tell you to pick “one over the other”, to follow your heart and not your mind (as if they’re different things), the fact is, it’s always about a balance between the two. An alignment that forms a single mind as a single goal, free of all conflict, that works dynamically in-sync with each other to create the reality of that choice. Anytime we pose one aspect against another, we’re doomed to failure or a seeming success that merely forms the foundation for inner turmoil and conflict to play out as a constant realization of betraying ourselves in some way. Thought and emotion, intellect and feeling, heart and head, are always unified, one producing and sustaining the other. There’s no such thing as a division in the true sense of the word. The masculine and feminine aspects are only capable of creating when forming union that produces an offspring that’s a combination of the two. They always act in unison as “one idea” that produces the material reality as a correspondence of that idea.

The Power of Emotions

Making a “true decision” where all aspects are aligned and agree, can often be quite difficult, and may actually come over a period of time while different aspects that negate the desired outcome in some way are played out and explored in greater depth, so that the necessary realizations can be obtained, which serves to confirm what you need to decide. Our subconscious, which is the seat of all of our conditioning as our mental paradigm, habitual tendencies, regular emotional states, and dynamics that are magnetic and compulsive in nature, seeks only to maintain the status quo as a form of self-preservation by continuing to play out the thematic dynamics that we’ve built our identity around, and need to keep playing out somehow in order to maintain our “sense of self”.

We keep casting ourselves in the roles we know how to play, and telling the story we know how to tell and do so in a natural, automatic, and compulsive fashion. We’re magnetically drawn to it even when intellectually and through reasoning we know we don’t want to be or shouldn’t. It works through our emotions, which are often gripping and intense, holding us captive to passions and intense emotional experiences that saturate our body with the chemistry and hormones of the emotions, satisfying a form of addiction. Emotions, being the motivating force of the subconscious mind and body, which is habitual and automatic in nature, are habit forming and we literally become addicted to them, even when we hate ourselves for doing it. Emotions, which are the driving force of instinct, are designed to produce automatic behavior that don’t require will, thought and decision, or self-awareness of any kind. We become addicted to pain just as easily as we do pleasure, because they’re both a drug produced internally that we become dependent on and use not only to create and maintain our state of mind, but also to create our reality out of, which is how we act in an indirect manner on ourselves to create ourselves.

Anytime emotions and passions go against reasoning and rational thought, they nearly always win, because they’re experience as a strong internal sensation that’s very compelling with a form of urgency, whereas clear thought is more neutral and something we seem to experience in more of a dissociated perspective of witnessing as being outside of or above the situation looking at it from the perspective of a “whole” rather than in it as a “part of it”. Once emotions take hold and grip us in some way, usually through memory of some kind that’s used to create in the present, it tends to cloud and control our thinking through a form of seductive persuasion, making it difficult to resist.

When this happens, decisions usually come as a gradual process, where once the desire to change becomes persistent, and we continue playing out the emotional dramas preventing us from implementing them, we begin having realizations about them that start dissolving the illusion we’ve built around them, loosening their grip, and they begin disintegrating and falling away. Once we have a notion as the desire to change in some manner, breaking an established pattern, it tends to steadily grow until it reaches fruition as an actual decision that we begin acting on to make it an actual reality, leaving the old behind and starting something new.

The Power of Belief

In a like manner, we can appear to have made a decision, and started it in motion, while maintaining a belief of some kind that prevents it, causes a feeling of conflict somehow, or results in what seems like the inability to take action, or not knowing what to do. Beliefs can be quite difficult to identify because they form the very basis of our experience of reality, and we often mistake them as being “fact or true”. Self-Awareness and Realization – All Knowledge can only be acquired through Direct Experience

To fully grasp this idea, wipe the slate clean of all preconceived ideas of good and bad, right and wrong, should or shouldn’t, and move into a space of simply observing and realizing “what is”. Be present in your experiences by giving your full attention to them while stepping outside of your conditioned mindset and beliefs, and allow whatever is naturally being stimulated to rise up fully within you without squelching, resisting, censoring, editing or corrupting it with preconceived ideas and rules about it. Simply stay present and witness it from a spacious and wide open perspective. Allow it to “reveal itself to you”, and simply see what it is. Allow all contradictory feelings and ideas about things previously held as fact to freely express, giving them your full attention while relinquishing all judgment of them.

Create spaciousness around stuff as a kind of open arena where feelings, emotions, and ideas that normally arise in any situation, or do to any stimulus or activity, are allowed to freely express and reveal to you in very clear terms what they are and what they’re about. Resist the need to try and explain or justify them, and don’t label them as something that causes you to go into denial about having them, or that creates the need to repress and shun them out of shame and guilt of some kind, or without trying to ignore them all together. And in this spacious free flow expression of what you’re feeling and experiencing that’s coming from within you due to what  you’re observing from a neutral and unbiased perspective of witnessing it from a dissociated position, fully take in what its showing you that may offer evidence that contradicts or undermines long held beliefs that caused you to repress how you really felt, and be willing to consider that your beliefs may be inaccurate and need revising with new information obtained through direct experience.

As we grow and are conditioned by our family unit, authority figures, and everyday situations of our youth, we “acquire” and take on as our own the beliefs, values, and thoughts of others. As children we don’t have the mental ability to think for ourselves and rationally evaluate information we’re being taught and programmed with for accuracy or validity, and so our mental paradigm as our formative conditioning is established from a predominately unconscious state of hypnosis. The subconscious mind is passive and receptive in nature, with no active will of its own, and simply acts to take in suggestions as seeded ideas, that it then develops into a reality in the imagination, which is fully active and well developed at this age. By making the suggested idea into a reality in our mind’s eye, which provides us with an “experience” of it that makes it seem real, we form a belief around it. Likewise, whatever family model as a dynamic we’re raised and trained to play a role in as a kind of life theme or “type of story”, we’re not only trained to the same behavioral dynamic and the emotional states that naturally produce those behaviors, but we’re also conditioned with the same values and mindset that act to drive the dynamic.

Naturally, our values and beliefs, and the life theme as a dynamic we’re programmed (trained) with, produces a consistent version of reality that gives us a limited and “specific” sense of ourselves within that reality. If this model is inherently incorrect, which nearly all are, especially in a group dynamic that requires multiple roles and people to play those roles, all with their own personal models bearing an influence, then the reality perceived and experienced out of that model is also incorrect and merely acts to validate, support, and substantiate the model producing it. An incorrect model and version of reality that’s superimposed over the outer objective reality (looked through like a lens), changing how it appears, also gives rise to constant inner turmoil and conflict because often what’s being stimulated in us and wanting to rise fully in our awareness, directly contradicts or disproves our belief about it, which undermines it, and we’re either forced to maintain the value and belief by arguing to defend it and ignoring the evidence against it (with ourselves), or use the new information to grow and evolve our values and beliefs to more accurately match our experiences. The choice is always ours and is being made both consciously and unconsciously within us all the time. Do we pose ourselves against truth that comes as direct experience in order to maintain an idea that we were given by others, or do we open our mind around it, and be willing to consider whatever comes as a result?

Many people are afraid to trust their own thoughts and feelings that naturally arise in them through certain experiences that act to contradict what they believe to be right or wrong, and good or bad, which is how our values play into the picture in a big way. While we can say there’s no such thing as right and wrong, or good and bad, except as we make it up in our minds by assigning those values to an idea, we still have a tendency to use these ideas to direct and create our experiences by way of them. This imaginary component of reality is true in the most basic sense that we’re always the one “making up” everything in our reality by assigning it values, qualities, and characteristics that conforms it to our story about things. While we know (or believe), there’s what we can call an objective and neutral reality that we all share in common, often described as the “original creation”, which sets the stage and provides the foundation for us to continue creating out of, the fact is that all reality as we’re capable of knowing it is “subjective” and “personal” in nature as a product of our own mind.

When we go into a situation with any form of preconceived ideas about it (which we always do), we tend to only “see” what we expect to see, or what matches our belief about it and can be used to form the experience of our belief about it by how we organize the elements involved, and how we interpret it through the story we tell ourselves about it that gives it meaning. Yet often, at a purely unconscious level, we’re being stimulated in a way that naturally causes other ideas as possible realities to arise in us as new possibilities that don’t seem to be a part of “us”, and therefore feel a bit foreign and often taboo. Yet these ideas are very much a part of us because they naturally arise out of our subconscious which is a part of the collective unconscious, or the level of the mind we share with everyone and everything else in the natural world of the astral plane or Earth’s atmosphere. The subconscious, having no active will of its own, which is necessary to manipulate or corrupt ideas through an agenda of some kind, is innocent in terms of only responding to and acting as a vessel for “what is” in terms of vibration and consciousness.

The subconscious is primarily emotionally driven and is always picking up impulses as mental impressions that it turns into imagined realities as thoughts. As we’re stimulated with the “feelings” involved in any activity or event, they’re drawn into the energy field of our subconscious mind and translated into thought-forms. These thoughts as imagined ideas that come as an experience are showing us the latent potential inherent in the feeling as a possible reality. Whatever we can imagine as an inner experience, we can do or make real as an outer experience of a corresponding nature. Whatever we “acquire” through the direct experience of it is “real”, and therefore “true” in terms of the possibility it offers for creating ourselves by way of that experience.

When we’re having an experience that draws up in us contradictory possibilities that go against our values and beliefs somehow, we are faced with options and the need to make decisions based on those options. When what existed previously as a firm belief or “rule of sorts” that we used as the means of deciding what we allowed to arise in us and lend ourselves to express by “becoming it” in body and mind, is uprooted by a new possibility that contradicts its “truth” and validity as the only possibility, or certainly the one we “should” allow ourselves to consider, and we can tell by how it feels as it arises in us giving us a preview of sorts, that it’s not “bad” or “wrong”, but rather a new kind of experience from a new perspective that shows us something different as a new way of being, we’re presented with a choice as to whether we step into it and try it on, or whether or not we don’t like how it feels and what it would mean about us, and so we shun and negate it by withdrawing our attention from it, returning it to a latent state.

All ideas and activities energetically contain all possibilities for creating various realities out of it as latent potential. Our mind acts to “resonate” only with certain potential within an infinite number of possibilities, activating and bringing a possibility by drawing it in and allowing it to rise up in our mind as a kind of preview of the reality inherent in it as a means for creating based on us being the channel for it. Whatever we give our attention to we channel our life-force energy into and bring it to life in the sphere of our mind, which encompasses our immediate environment. By continuing to focus on and think about it we structure it into a complete detailed reality in our mind as an energetic template (vibratory frequency) for producing the equivalent outer reality through resonance. It exists as a transparent idea of a possible reality that is imbued with an electromagnetic field (life-force) the we “look through” as a lens that changes what’s active (brought out) and passive (ignored or not noticed) in the outer environment, changing how it appears to us. While simultaneously forming a gravitational field between us and the outer elements of its fulfillment, and we naturally begin having an analogous outer experience of our inner imagining. When we withdraw our attention from a possible idea for creating, it recedes from our awareness and returns to a latent, inactive state. The only things that are “alive for us” (within us) is what we willfully direct our attention into and remain focused on for an extended period of time.

Our power to create by learning how our mind and soul operates, and learning how to use it intentionally comes by realizing the nature of our conditioning and how we act to form and build our own mental paradigm. Instead of being locked into a belief system we acquired through systematic training and accepting other people’s ideas as our own, we can realize that our paradigm is just a foundation as a starting point that we can continue to design and develop ourselves through our ability to recognize and give rise to aspects of ourselves that hold a greater truth. By embracing this new truth we’re provided with a path  as evolution that we must undertake by utilizing our creative capacities of choice and free will in skillfully creating ourselves by way of our own hand.

Once we realize the nature and power of our values and beliefs, and we return them to a fluid, mobile state of growth and development, and we stay present in all of our meaningful experiences, always honoring how we feel, and freely giving rise to the thoughts and feelings we’re naturally being stimulated with while observing them from a dissociated and objective perspective to see the actual reality they hold and imply, we can choose which ones to adopt and step into as a means of growing ourselves to a specific means, and which ones to let go and not allow to take hold. As we do this more and more and become experienced, we realize that our decisions come with much greater clarity as to who and how we become because of them, yet the results become more vague and often slippery because we often change our position and perspective in terms of how we enter into relationship with everything else, that changes, often entirely, how we look at things that we previously had a very definite and limited idea around.

As we begin honoring our personal experience as the basis for all of our decisions, we notice that it requires us to develop different aspect of our character, and changes how we reference our source of power from an external one to an internal one. It requires us to trust ourselves to know right from wrong, what will be good and beneficial for us and what won’t, what hurts and reduces us, and what enlivens and expands us, and to honor always our own experience over the experience of others. As we develop the ability to realize the reality that rises out of our experiences in a direct and intimate way as feelings that are imagined as scenarios and movies that “inform us” through the direct experience of them, and our ability to consistently make good decisions based on them, we become more secure and confident in our ability to make decisions that will foster our growth and direct our development in the way we want, and in doing so, we will come to implacably trust and believe in ourselves.

All true knowledge only comes through the direct experience of it. It’s something that’s “in us” that’s stimulated and brought to life in the imagination by that same knowledge outside of us. We never acquire knowledge from without, but only from within as the experience of it. It’s awakened in us in relationship with its outer source that’s of the same nature (sympathetic resonance). We can never know the truth of anything by accepting someone else’s experience over our own. When we deny our experience in favor of others, we live a life of delusion and give our will and creative ability over to another, becoming formed and determined by them. When our experience contradicts the experience of another, and we “trust them” to know better than we do, and we doubt and discount ours in favor of theirs, we literally sell our soul and reside in a basic and all-pervading form of darkness as self-imposed ignorance. We choose to live unconsciously (like a trained animal) and live out of an illusion instead of the truth.

To take back, and step into our God-given ability to self-create through realization, choice, and free will, is to first realize what experience we’re having in an given situation or activity, without censoring, editing, or repressing it, what’s rising in us because of it, and step into it as a possibility in order to see its true nature, then, based on the information we derive from it as the reality and experience it offers, make a decision as to whether or not to step into it further by embodying it and cooperatively participating in the experience of it. In this way we’re never required to “believe in something” in order to make it real for us, but instead we can “know it as real”. We can come to realize that we have a direct method for accessing truth, and we can have faith in our ability to know the difference. By developing confidence in ourselves and skill at discerning the truth as it exists “within us”, we begin taking full responsibility for our own creation and truly become empowered in our own life.

The Dual Nature of Truth – The Relative and the Absolute

Truth, like all ideas that prevail within the material realm, is dual in nature. The entire material realm is formed by a universal (common) and personal (individual) aspect that are complementary in nature. These complementary aspects are separated from each other by degrees that that form a scale as a range of possibilities between the two that ultimately connect them. Many people believe that truth, like reality, is always absolute and objective, meaning it’s the same for everyone, and that what we call “truth” in terms of what’s true for us, is also true for everyone else. Yet nothing could be further from the truth (pun intended). Just as we have both an objective and neutral (devoid of meaning) reality, and a subjective and relative one (based on meaning) as a “personal version” of reality, we also have what we can securely call a universal and absolute truth based on Laws and Principles that govern and operate to create the material world, and we have personal truth which, in the ideal situation comes as the result of identifying and working by way of law in the practical sense, comes as the result of how we perceive things, which is what makes it “true for us”.

What’s true in the ordinary sense, is whatever we say is true and can prove or validate somehow using our mental model of the world, which is what forms our perception that we then call “true”. Truth exists on a scale of “degrees of consciousness” that serve to facilitate our evolutionary growth process from childhood to maturity. This is easy to understand when we simply self-reflect and realize that what was true, and therefore “real” for us as a part of our perception of reality at 16, may not have been at all true for us at 25. Though at 16, that truth served our growth somehow and was a natural part of our personal evolution as the understanding we formed through an integrative learning process of acquired knowledge and experiences. Personal truth exists much like a belief in the sense that we structure our reality out of it (it forms our perceptual filtering system) and so it’s constantly being validated through our experiences, because we don’t fully realize we’re creating our experiences out of our beliefs and what we deem to be true.

Universal Law is what we actually call “absolute” truth, which means it’s neutral and non-personal in nature, and operates as natural laws equally for everyone and in every situation. Truth as Universal Laws, are the very foundation for all material creation and operations, and are the same creative laws that govern the mind, which has the ability to create unique versions of reality as a personal, subjective perception, by way of those laws. So the only actual truth in any situation is the recognition of the laws operating within it, which are working equally for everyone, and are eternal and unchanging in nature. Our personal truth comes more as an evaluation of what we imagine to be facts based on the appearance and behavior of someone or something, that’s being “interpreted” by us through our mental paradigm which is what evaluates it according to perceived attributes, qualities, and meaning that we ourselves possess. Only some of which we’re actually aware of and recognize as being “of us”. As we perceive everything else we shape-shift it to match our beliefs and thoughts about it. Anything that exists outside of our paradigm, we literally can’t see, and it’s therefore not real or true for us.

Our mental paradigm, which consists primarily of beliefs, values, preferences, decisions, and memories, all compiled through how we’ve integrated our experiences up to this point, serves as a “filtering system” that forms our perceptual lens that we “look through” in order to perceive everything else. We only “see” what matches (is of the same nature) and can be explained, described,  understood in the practical sense, and validated as being true or real through our model, which is our “criteria” for judging and interpreting everything to give it meaning. We judge, evaluate, and interpret everything to be “like us”, to have the same qualities, characteristics, to play a part in the same dynamics, and be motivated by the same reasons, as the means for interpreting their behavior and actions in order understand and experience them in a way that makes sense to us. We’re always reforming everything else to be of the same nature as we are through our very perception of it. We’re only capable of seeing in other what exists first in us, because our mind is what’s doing the perceiving, and we’re literally “creating” through our perception.

To project or impose our “truth” onto someone else, claiming it to be “the truth”, and therefore an accurate observation and interpretation or opinion as also being “their truth”, is a blatant misunderstanding of the nature of their own mind. What is true for me that I readily use to guide my life and conduct, may not be true at all for someone else who has a whole different version that naturally arises and is fully supported by their paradigm as their way of looking at things. We are all the ones responsible for not only producing and formulating our own truths, but also for evolving those truths with the introduction of new information that grows and expands on them, transforming them to a higher level of understanding that’s at once a demonstration of our growth, while simultaneously facilitating it by opening our mind to be able to behold new ideas. Relative truths are more like conclusions we naturally formulate based on the information we currently have and are working with. These truths, much like scientific truth and life itself, are in a constant state of growth, expansion, and evolution based on the realization and integration of new information that upgrades our mental model.

The relative nature of truth as a personal interpretation of a perceived reality follows along the same lines as the truth behind the fact that all of what we call reality is actually “subjective” in nature. This is obvious through a basic understanding of the laws of physics as the relationship between the mind (consciousness) and matter, where the material reality is influenced by the consciousness observing and interacting with it, and changes how it “shows up” in terms of appearance and behavior to match the intention and expectation of the mind interacting with it. So every “reality” being “perceived” by the individual mind is unique to that individual as a personal creation. It’s using the same “objective and non-personal reality” as archetypal forms to reshape into a unique version of the same idea. Even if we were all quantum physicists observing what we believe to be the same reality or phenomena, the only way we would have of knowing whether or not it was real and therefore true, is if two or more people “appear” to be seeing the same thing. And even then, we can’t be 100% sure.

What we call the Universal mind or objective reality as the original creation that we’re all a part of, is archetypal in nature, which means it exists as a dynamic theme in a purely “potential state” that contains within it every possibility for creating a variation of that same theme. The basic act and art of creation that’s always going on, is that the individual mind exists “within” the universal mind, which being archetypal in nature is void of meaning, and resonates with “certain aspects” of that whole reality, which activates some aspects (the ones that are complementary) while deactivating other ones, abstracting partial information that matches its internal structure, and uses it to compose a whole reality based on partial information. Truth, like all things is based on perception which is formed out of “everything we know up to this point”, and is evolved to higher truths through the induction of new information that wasn’t previously recognizable. Once new information is obtained through our ability to perceive and conceive of it, we integrate it into our model, modifying and upgrading it to be able to perceive greater and greater forms of truth. So truth in this sense, is a living and dynamic entity. It’s not stagnate and dead.

The Universal and Absolute truth involved in this equation is based on the laws governing energy as both consciousness and matter, one of which is active and the other passive, and together they form an imagined reality that appears equivalently and simultaneously inwardly and outwardly. It’s based on vibration as a frequency or range of information that “vibrates” that same information in everything around it, activating and “bringing it out” (to the surface), while failing to stimulate other aspects which recede and aren’t a part of our awareness, that it then “organizes” into a new pattern or theme of the frequency as a specialized version of a universal idea. Through sympathetic resonance we’re only able to absorb, imagine, and comprehend what’s of the same nature as we are. Once we absorb certain aspects of a whole reality or informational field, we organize it into a pattern that makes sense to us, forming coherence as harmonious, and we see, experience, and interact with the reality of our own making, perceiving it outside of us and therefore making it real and true.

The Absolute Truth are the laws operating in the situation which have nothing to do with the outcome involved in terms of the material manifestation, but rather forms the creative process that produces the personal reality as a unique creation. These same laws of vibration as frequency that tunes us to certain aspects of a greater whole, that has a “self-organizing mechanism” inherent in it that forms elements into a thematic pattern of the frequency, reshaping it into a coherent and cohesive reality that matches and is the product of our own mind. These are the laws involved that are eternally true, because they’re the same for everyone, and are always operating in any situation as the fundamental creative capacity of the individual mind.

By understanding the ability and natural tendency of the individual to create its own truths, we will never impose our truths on them again, and instead we can come to realize the nature of their minds structure in terms of why and how something is true for them. We can gain insight into the beliefs and values and how they apply those to form their perception of right and wrong, good and bad, and truth and lies. We can come to realize what’s true for them and how they conduct themselves as a result. We can also self-reflect and gain new insight into our own “professed truths” and begin opening our mind around them, questioning their origin and validity and become more open to considering new forms of information that return us to a growth and evolutionary process of becoming more, rather than stagnating on a personal creation that we mistake for being true that limits us in some way, much like a belief does.

Whatever we proclaim to be true for us becomes a self-imposed limitation (necessary for creating it) that can often be an illusion that prevents us from seeing the very thing that reveals its illusive qualities. Whatever we say is true, outside of universal law, is really more of an assessment and conclusion that we’ve drawn based on what we know and how we’ve integrated information into our mental paradigm up to this point in time. Once we learn something new through the experience or realization of something that contradicts it, and thereby proves it to not be entirely accurate, we evolve our perception to incorporate the new information and evolve ourselves and the world around us at the same time. This is how we grow in awareness and in doing so, expand on what’s possible, and hold ourselves to greater and greater forms of truth as our souls evolution through time located within a body posed to a limited perspective within certain conditions and circumstances.

Sub-personalities – Internal Conflict and the Voices in your Head

good and bad One of the most natural aspects of our everyday experience is this constant inner dialogue going on within our mind as a form of discussion, negotiation, or argument between different aspects or parts of ourselves. This natural phenomenon is evident in how we describe it when we say that “one part of me wants to do this, while another part of me wants to do that”. This split decision causes us to feel torn between ideas, and often leaves us never really making a firm decision while constantly going back and forth between extremes of the same idea. This same reality is often depicted as a devil on one shoulder, and an angel on the other, both whispering in our ear. Carl Jung recognized this basic process of consciousness always going on, and developed the idea of the psyche being composed of multiple archetypes or personalities that are always engaged in discussion and persuasion as part of our normal thinking. Of course this idea wasn’t unique to Jung, but is a basic part of ancient wisdom and the archetypes of mythology as aspects of consciousness that represent different personalities, and astrology based on the individual make-up being based on the archetypes and their main focus within a persons basic personality. These are not to be mistaken for “multiple personalities”, which is an entirely different condition, but rather as different aspects of one personality.   These inner voices, all with personalities of their own, each exerting themselves in various situations, competing for control of our will, are actually what in psychology we call “sub-personalities”, “inner aspects”, or “different parts”, all of which make the greater overall personality. We’re born with a cluster of archetypal personalities as part of our soul’s make-up, and we acquire them as we go through life from our conditioning, events of strong emotional impact, extreme fear, or trauma’s of some sort. Our parent’s voice, for example, becomes a natural part of our inner dialogue that continues to play out and talk to us from the same attitude, perspective, intention, and demeanor. Our belief system, likewise, comes as an inner discussion that’s always telling us about something from the perspective of the belief it represents. When we encounter shocking, fearful, or intense situations, we can draw into us and take on new aspects that are ideally suited for negotiating that situation “for us”, or as a means of coping with it. Whenever we’re devastated in some way, and fall apart, we let down our resistance to outside forces and influences, and become vulnerable to them through a form of magnetism. energy design Whatever emotional state we indulge in, we polarize ourselves to, become a magnet for the consciousness of that emotion, and draw into us thoughts that create realities out of the emotions as a possible expression of it. We “take on” the quality of consciousness equivalent to the emotional state, and think thoughts that form inner realities that express and produce more of that emotion. These emotional thoughts, seemingly generated by our mind as the expression of the emotions, take on a life of their own, become an aspect of our personality, and continue to operate in us through a voice that becomes a natural part of our thinking. It’s an aspect of the emotional state that produces it that perceives everything from that perspective, and has its role and intention “as” that perspective. It stays alive in us by thinking through us, and always talking to us in a convincing manner, negotiating the terms of its existence.   The sub-personality is always describing things, explaining them, and pointing them out while telling us about them. While they’re active “in us”, we are rendered passive, and allow them to exert themselves by giving them the stage to speak freely. Even when we recognize them, and willfully subdue them, as soon as our guard is down, they reassert themselves and begin controlling our thoughts without our direct awareness. They’re so automatic that they become a natural part of us. After awhile, we can’t separate ourselves from them, come to depend on them, and let them run us and use our mind and will to create by way of us. As long as we fail to integrate the parts, they continue to exert themselves without our direct awareness, through our subconscious nature. Whatever exists in us at the subconscious level, meaning without our direct awareness of it, we continue to act out in an automatic fashion, usually producing what ultimately becomes an internal conflict. They form opposing unconscious aspects of ourselves that go against conscious aspects. We make a decision consciously to do something, and then our subconscious mind brings into play everything that contradicts it and is acting to prevent it, sabotaging our willful efforts. Because these aspects were formed out of intense emotional states, whenever we begin reliving them, or they rise in us and begin playing out by controlling our thoughts, they’re accompanied by strong emotions, which tend to overpower us, and negate rational and reasonable thinking that’s devoid of a strong emotional component. Man with conceptual spiritual body art When two ideas come into direct conflict, each represented by a different aspect of ourselves, the one which elicits the strongest emotion tends to win out. While our first approach may be to fight against the emotional aspect preventing us from consciously progressing in a more favorable direction through active choice and will, this can prove hopeless and at best a temporary gain through dominance and suppression, yet the real solution lies in negotiating terms with the sub-personality, by gaining realization around it, what its purpose and agenda is, what it’s meant to do, and thanking it for its service to you by helping you through the difficult situation in which you acquired it in, then telling it to leave, while mentally forming a pathway out of your body and sending it back out into the universe to be of service to someone else.   All energies and natural forces as qualities of consciousness only come into us through a vacancy or void that creates a vacuum as magnetism of some sort, which we could think of as a form of invitation that pulls or draws it into us through resonance, we can simultaneously realize that regardless of the role it takes on, the intention is beneficial because it was designed to help us through a situation we were in as a state of mind that attracted it, or awakened it in us. While we tend to think of the mind as a product of the brain or heart, and therefore “set” and comprised of fixed qualities, the fact of the matter is we are born with a constitution as a set of information and memories that form our initial personality, and we are engaged in a constant process of growth and development through a constant exchange of energy with everything around us. The mind is energetic and invisible in nature, and works through vibration, sympathetic induction, and synthesis, in much the same way we take in the molecules of the air around us by breathing it, which then become an essential part of our molecular structure, while discharging or exhaling molecules no longer needed as a form of recycling. Likewise, the food we eat becomes the building blocks that form our physical body, determining our health as a physical state or condition. Our mind is the electromagnetic energy system of our body that’s drawing into it energies as qualities the consciousness around it. Blending with and becoming the same as them, altering the vibration of the mind through the integration, while emanating or sending back out energies no longer magnetized to it. bit by bit The energies of the mind as the invisible forces in the invisible space around us, are “qualities of consciousness” with a singular nature that form an aspect of a larger matrix of energies and become a sub-personality with a specific perspective and perception, that forms a part of our overall personality, modifying it by incorporating the singular perspective, altering the overall perspective. We experience it as a “voice in our head” as “thought” that enter into and become a part of our normal perspective of everyday reality. Because they come as thoughts and feelings, we often don’t realize that they’re not our own, and are something we “acquired” instead, and we give our will to them by letting them rise in us as our perception, thoughts, and interpretation of the meaning events take on. They begin discussing everything as a form of argument that clashes with and negates other aspects, always seeking to win over and resume control of our perception and thought processes.   Like all things of the mind and the invisible plane of pure energy that we are submerged in and an integral part of, the only way to extract unwanted aspects, or aspects whose part and role is no longer needed or beneficial, is through recognition and awareness of them and how they operate to influence and control you. Because we acquire these automatically while in an unconscious state of delirium (emotion, trauma, shock, intense fear, etc.), and they’re absorbed into our unconscious mind and arise in us automatically without our direct awareness of them, they continue with us until we become conscious and aware of them. Once we become aware of different aspects of ourselves, and how they exist in conflict with other aspects of our nature, and we realize how they’re serving us through protection and service of some sort, we can appreciate them, feel gratitude for their help, and let them know they’re no longer needed. They no longer serve a desirable or necessary purpose. We can then locate them in our body through the emotion they are a part of and the bodily sensations it produces, and direct them to leave while mentally escorting them out of our body and back into the universal soul of mass consciousness where they’ll become available to be drawn in by someone else in need of their services.   The interesting thing about qualities or aspects of consciousness is that they exists on the plane of the mind as consciousness, and can only be worked with from that same plane. The mind controls the mind, and our own conscious awareness and imagination is used to acquire, exchange, utilize, and discharge the consciousness available all around us. We work with our mind by way of our mind. We can realize that our will commands aspects of the mind not only as energies around us, but through the mind of others. We are constantly taking on and exchanging consciousness with everyone and everything around us. By becoming aware of this we can simultaneously learn how to exercise control over it.   Once we realize that our soul as our consciousness actually “jumps out of” and exits our body during events of fear, shock, and trauma, causing what you could think of as a vacancy and a form of vacuum as a magnetic pull that draws in energy equivalent to or of the same vibration and quality of our state of mind, or that’s inherent in the situation, we can begin realizing the powerful role emotions and fear play in governing us through acquisition of consciousness that increase and amplifies the state itself. Fear draws into us consciousness of the reality inherent in the fear, and makes us think fearful thoughts, or react with anger and rage, through an inner voice that begins dialoguing with us about the fear and from the perspective and attitude that sees the same type of fear in everything around us just through its perception of it. Looking through the lens of fear, we only see more fear or what warrants fear. MindfieldBy learning how to manage our state of mind, we can recognize aspects we’ve acquired that aren’t “us”. We can begin distinguishing between our real self and our acquired self. We can begin realizing that certain aspects of our thinking are associated to specific events of our life where we “acquired them” and they became a normal part of our thinking. We can begin realizing how they play a part in sabotaging other aspects of our life, or argue against and negotiate through seduction to prevent willfully bringing about desired changes through conscious decisions to do so. By becoming aware of their strong emotional component we can not only resist their control, but learn how to identify them further, while simultaneously using compelling emotions to fuel and empower our conscious decisions. By gaining realization around them and what they act to prevent, protect us from, deal with, or cause, we can see their purpose and how they were intended to protect us, and how through that same attitude and behavior now act to sabotage our intentional efforts, we can thank it for its help, and tell it it’s no longer needed, then consciously and willfully release it, freeing it from the body and mind, and no longer be subject to it. Anytime we are “removing” one aspect creating a void or opening, we have to consciously draw into that space what we want to fill it, or it’ll do it automatically with whatever is available without our direction. As we create an opening or vacuum we have call or pull our soul back in to fill it, recovering it and becoming whole again. This is traditionally referred to as “Soul Retrieval” in Shamanic Arts. All energy as spirits, entities, qualities, or emotions is subject to and commanded by the will of the human mind. We willfully acquire them through needing or wanting, or by vacating our body creating an opening for them to enter, take hold, and remain apart of us. While they occupy a part of us, our own soul can’t fully enter back into and operate through us, and remains on the outer boundaries of the mind where an opening has to be created in order to draw our own soul aspects back into our body. Only through awareness, realization, and willful control over them can we release or discharge them. The problem is, once they become a part of us, we build our identity around them as an essential part of ourselves, and form a kind of love for them, and hold them to us as a result. We don’t want to let them go because we’ve become accustomed to the story we began living out of them due to the traumatic circumstances we acquired them through, and feel as if we would lose an important part of ourselves by letting them go that would change tour very psychological make-up by making us encounter and experience in us what they were designed to protect us from. We only draw into us and acquire consciousness that’s of service somehow and therefore useful. ethereal body Even when we perceive them as bad or destructive, they’re preventing us from coming face-to-face with other aspects of ourselves that we fear even more, even though they might be ultimately good and serve our growth. For example, anger and hostility may be acquired in response to something terrifying that was exactly what we needed to deal with that event, and so it helped us cope and be able to get through it, that once the terrifying event passed, we still maintain an aspect of us that approaches ordinary experiences with an attitude of anger and aggressiveness, or we see them in a way that makes us feel angry and aggressive that’s an inappropriate response. We can continue to look at ordinary things from a perspective that warrants anger and a hostel attitude. In this way, the very quality that protected us in one situation, now becomes our downfall because it becomes a primary part of our everyday life and we’re “angry a lot”, or it becomes an inappropriate response that we can’t seem to help, and we begin employing volatile reactive behavior in the ordinary sense.   While we may come to a conscious decision of no longer needing their diversion, and are willfully choosing to step into what we originally feared and resisted, they continue to play out preventing it by introducing contradicting thoughts and emotions that go against our active decisions and hold us to the same attitudes, identity, and behavioral tendencies they served to develop in the first place. Once they become apart of us, we mistake them for being us, and continue to let them control us by living out of them and never sticking with our decisions that would eradicate them by rendering them subjective to our will.   Like all things, the idea is never to fight against or resist something, but rather to remove it and its influences from the system altogether, modifying the mind, and removing all blocks to progressive growth through willful decision making. At the level of the mind and consciousness, awareness is the key! Anything we remain unaware of continues to play out in our life, without our consent. By becoming aware of unconscious or shadow aspects of ourselves, we can dissolve them through awareness itself. Not through hating them or judging them to be bad, weak, or wrong, but rather by recognizing how they were serving us at some level and were exactly what we needed to deal with the situation we were in when we attracted them. When they entered us they were helping us to cope with and negotiate some situation that was difficult for us, or that we didn’t feel equipped to deal with. It’s only through true recognition and love and gratitude, that we work with the very consciousness that makes up our own being and serves to create our life experiences and impose a distinct direction on our life’s path by playing a part in controlling our choice and will to bring about certain realities. Conscious Programming – “The Art of Self-Creation”

The conscious mind has the ability to program the subconscious mind, yet we have to first realize that they actually speak (work by) different languages. The conscious mind is abstract and thinks in terms of verbal language as words that lack behavior as actualizing, whereas the subconscious mind is experiential and emotional in nature and speaks in terms of pictures and sensory images as life-like realities that mimic actual memories. The conscious mind programs the subconscious (body awareness) through the imagination as an inner vision that transforms an abstract idea into a conceptualized reality. The imagination as the mind’s eye takes a basic idea, and through the process of applying it to a specific situation or set of circumstances, reinterprets it by personalizing it. We imagine it “as if” we were actually experiencing it as a real life situation. This creates the idea as a living pattern equivalent to a memory, which the subconscious uses to produce behavior that “acts out” the same scenario as a real life experience.

 
By imagining the desired idea as a reality, we not only create a pattern for application, but also create it as a believable possibility that we simultaneously identify with through the enactment. This creates the desired reality as an inner reality that the subconscious superimposes on the outer reality, organizing and reinterpreting it accordingly. The mind constructs realities by how it composes ideas to give them meaning. The meaning we give an idea determines how we experience it. Meaning shapes experience. It takes the imagined reality as an actual experience, which integrates and incorporates it through an accumulative effect that modifies the current paradigm as a system of beliefs based on memory (living realities) as a unification of the physical with the spiritual that provides a new template for generating thematic realities as analogous correspondences. It creates experiences that are of the same nature as a form of theme.

We take an abstract idea as a universal theme, and create an inner reality as a template that produces a frequency that’s used to magnetize and organize the outer reality as being of a similar nature. It won’t be exactly the same as the inner imagining, because it can only use elements in the immediate environment that are of the same frequency and therefore lend themselves to telling the same type of story. The outer experience will be of the same nature and basic idea of the imagined reality based on what’s available in the immediate environment that can be used to orchestrate the experience as a congruent theme.

 
Ideas, as feeling experiences, represent a vibratory frequency that attracts what is of the same nature and therefore has the same inherent tendencies that can be used to express the same idea as a joint reality. Whatever is of a different frequency, likewise, is simultaneously repelled. We only “see” ourselves (what matches our paradigm) in others and our environment, even though many other possibilities coexist within the same space and time. What is of the same nature as us we not only notice and give attention to (it stands out), we simultaneously allow to enter into us (energetic sympathy), stimulating an inner reaction (resonance) to it as a result. This is what we refer to as chemistry that produces a natural interaction based on an affinity of sorts.

When we allow ideas to readily and willingly be introduced into our mind, and take hold by thinking about them, we are allowing ourselves to be “programmed” by others or an external source. We then become subject to it because it acts to “tune us” to the same vibratory frequency as a joint reality that we create inward using our own mind. We allow ourselves to be determined – created – by outside forces. This is the result of the subconscious and passive aspect of the mind as our animalistic (body) nature that can be readily trained and domesticated by outside influences that we align with and allow to control us. We are influenced by another mind that imposes a direct influence on us, dominates by introducing an active force as an idea that’s willingly accepted by our passive and receptive mind, that controls us by absorbing and commanding our will.

 
When we give our will to the service of another by conforming to them, they act to control us and determine our behavior, which also shapes our identity accordingly. We enter into a sympathetic relationship with them, and through suggestion that acts to modify and manipulate our inner reality, we respond to them in a very predictable way. They train us to behave in a certain way by how they interact with us. Through the emotional quality of their communication, which acts as the hook for seating ideas in the imagination, allowing them to take hold long enough to develop them into personal realities by thinking about them in a compulsive manner. They “give us” emotional thoughts that are theirs, and we adopt them and then act to develop them as our own. This forms the basis of what we refer to as the “group mind” which is ultimately a form of subliminal mind entrainment designed to train people to certain types of behavior that they mistaken for their own.

 
Once we understand how we use our mind to self-create by creating internal realities that become the living patterns for outer realities of the same nature, we can withdraw our mental and emotional power from the group mind, and use our imagination to self-create in unique and individual ways instead. We can program our own mind and body by creating inner experiences of our desired reality, then enhancing them with sensory details, while infusing them with very positive emotions that magnetize them by making them compelling. Positive attracts and grows, negative repels and diminishes. To “become” by growing ourselves, is achieved through positive and active means, while allowing our negative, self-sabotaging aspects to fall away and subside, because we no longer keep them alive in our imagination. Fill your mind constantly with what you desire to experience and how you want to feel as a result. Sense yourself in very desirable ways that will shape your identity accordingly and will form your character as the means of bringing ideas into physical form as experiences that are self-perpetuated and performed by you!

Emotions are Drugs – “The Chemistry of Experience”

We have to always keep in mind that the body is one of the most sophisticated chemistry labs known. This is largely due to the fact that as humans, we experience complex emotions that are not only due to instinctual responses to our environment, but are also largely self-induced through our thinking and how we perceive things to give them meaning.

 
Because chemicals alter the state of the organism, which greatly influences our thinking, we form habitual thinking patterns that are naturally associated with our emotions. Because of this, we not only become addicted to certain emotions, but then attached the same type of thoughts as a way of interpreting and forming fundamental perceptions that become habitual also. Our dominant emotional state forms our basic attitude. Our attitude shapes our approach. Our approach determines the perspective we take and from what position we look at things. Our predisposition shapes the type of experiences we have into a consistent theme that forms a predominant meaning . . . that says ‘this is the way life is”.

 
What shapes the experiences we have is not the emotion itself, but the type of thoughts we attach to it that creates a concept of a possible reality that gives it meaning. The meaning becomes the moral of the story that spontaneously emerges as a natural expression. The meaning shapes and produces the experience that expresses it through a story that we first tell ourselves, then we literally call forth by telling others. We first run it through our imagination, composing it as a potential reality which serves to program the subconscious with a live experience, which it then automatically produces as a form of correspondence (like begets like). The experience may not be exactly as we had imagined it, but it will ultimately result in the same idea that will induce the same emotional state.

 
The reason that we can say that everything that has ever been “created or invented” began in the imagination, is because the imagination is where common elements of an inspired idea are brought together and composed in such a way that they form a believable experience. It is how we first structure then preview potential realities. Once we form a belief around an emotional concept, we have a blueprint, or kind of template for producing it. We create experiences of it, that serves to express it. We move it from the inside as our personal creation, to the outside as a perceivable experience of our self.

Because emotions cause motion, are motivating, they tend to run the system randomly until we learn how to not only create them, but direct them with our thoughts and how we use our body. When we learn how to begin cultivating them intentionally and calling them forth at will, we can begin using them as the powerful expressive tool that they really are. The emotion that we use to communicate not only to our self (internal dialogue), but also in communicating with others, is what determines the reaction we produce which is of a similar nature. Our emotional expression triggers the same emotions in other. Once we understand this, we can learn to use them as powerful creative tools with a sense of intention and purpose.
To learn how to first cultivate then direct our emotions using them intentionally is one of the most valuable skills we can learn. Nothing else will produce as drastic a shift in your own life, as well as your skill in communicating with others, than this alone.

Our Vibratory Frequency is our Soul’s Essence

The term vibratory frequency is used a lot to describe ideas around ascension or spiritual awakening, without really explaining what it means or how to actually alter your vibratory frequency as an intentional act or form of self-development. In order to be able to work with anything in a conscious and deliberate manner we have to have a fundamental understanding of it in practical terms. Through an inherent understanding we can either employ methods or create methods of our own for working on ourselves to facilitate our own growth, and alter our level of consciousness which “is” our vibratory frequency.

 
In order to understand vibration, we have to look at the nature of energy itself, not as a form of electricity, although electricity is a form of energy, but in terms of the “subtle” energy that permeates all of life and the universe as a whole, which is a very dynamic form of consciousness, often referred to as “life-force” that forms a synchronistic step-down process that in-forms and animates matter through specific characteristics as a “quality” of consciousness. Consciousness itself exists as a dynamic configuration of various attributes and qualities that form characteristics. Vibration as a quality of consciousness forms patterns as a form of accumulated memory, that “in-forms” matter with corresponding qualities and behaviors.

Vibration as a state-of-mind emanates corresponding realities through a form of projection and mental filters, as a natural expression of that vibratory frequency as a dynamic matrix of various forms of memory all created out of the same quality as a “theme”. The vibratory frequency as the core or essential nature emanates and projects onto the environment and others forming our perception of them through the filter of our mind, which reforms them into the same image (basic pattern) and likeness (dynamic qualities and behaviors) as itself (resonance alters vibration and restructures it forming coherence). In other words, we reshape others to be like us by how we interpret them through the story we tell about them. The “story” we tell is the offspring of a larger pattern as an “over-all theme” which “is” our vibratory frequency in the most practical sense. Vibration as a quality of consciousness forms our character which is ideal for telling certain types of stories, which are dynamic patterns that are altered forming endless variations based on how we adapt it to a variety of situations and circumstances. While the elements being used to tell the story may change, the story itself holds true to a consistent theme. Vibrations as states have whole realities inherent in them. These vibratory frequencies as living patterns are often referred to as “spheres of consciousness”, which symbolize the Monad.

 
Vibrationally speaking, we can only enter into other spheres of consciousness that are of the same vibratory frequency, and naturally lend themselves to forming the same thematic structures. We can only perceive ourselves (what’s of the same nature) in others. Resonance which awakens and vibrates the same frequency through energetic sympathy in others, enters into them and affects them by stimulating the same qualities and bringing them out through the nature of the interaction itself, which develops both people into a new pattern (interference pattern) based on the qualities they share in common.

Vibration produces certain types of experience as it’s expressive component, that then become memory as a form of programming that builds itself out of more of the same vibration, amplifying and increasing it. Change the nature of the experience that forms a new kind of memory, which exists at both the mind and cellular level, and you form a new structure accordingly. We can only work directly with our vibratory frequency through our state of mind as a basic mood. All experience emerges as a direct correspondence to our mood. Our state determines what type of thoughts we think, what realities we form in our imagination, and the emotions we experience in reaction to our own thoughts. By cultivating and working intentionally to create the proper state of mind out of which we experience life through the stories we tell ourselves about it, we work directly to alter our vibratory frequency. By holding a certain state or mood consistently and creating our experiences out of that state, that we then identify with and become new memories which begin building up through an accumulative affect, we can literally alter, and hopefully raise our vibration through use of our will as intention action.

 
Because we are held within a certain vibratory range, most change comes in a gradual way as a form of progression. When we begin forming an awareness of what our state of mind is in the general sense, we can also begin realizing why our life is the way it is, and we can decide on what type of changes we want to make, and what mind-set that reality would naturally flow out of. Our state of mind is basically created three ways, each of which acts to unify the other two. Our state is created by what we focus on, what we tell ourselves about what we’re focused on that gives it meaning, and what we’re doing with our bodies as our physiology. These three aspects are always in-sync with each other. Change any one of these, and you change the other two automatically, to form a unified state.

 
If you feel as if you can’t control your thoughts and what you give your attention to, then you can work by way of changing the story you’re telling yourself about it, or by changing your physiology. Change what you’re doing with your body. Notice that the body is always a direct and proportional reflection of the mind. Positive states have behaviors inherent in them. Employ those behaviors, and you alter your state accordingly. By becoming active, energetic, expressive with your hands and body gestures, or how you hold yourself in general, your posturing, you feel different, sense yourself in a different way, and alter your state of mind to match it.

So the most direct way to alter your vibratory frequency is by learning how to manage your own mind in terms of what you are focused on, channeling attention into, how your thinking about it in terms of what you’re telling yourself about it that makes it mean something, and how that’s reflected in your body language. While we may think that we have no control over these in the direct sense, because they are largely unconscious and automatic in nature, the fact of the matter is, we do have control. We just have to realize we do, and begin practicing “choosing” and intentionally creating our mood by how we’re using our own mind.

 
By becoming aware of our different moods, and what strategy we’re employing as a means of producing those moods, we can develop a strategy for intentionally producing whatever state of mind we want to based on what type of experiences we want to create. Then, by taking control of what we focus on, how we look at what we’re focused on, and what we’re doing with our body, we can intentionally control our own state of mind, and in doing so, work consciously with our vibratory frequency and the type of realities as our personal experiences that we live out of and act to create as a result. By recognizing our own tendencies and what type of story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves, and living out by how we act and how we influence other people to embody the same mood, we can begin working consciously in our own lives to learn how to tell a new story. One that we want to tell and one that we want to use to intentionally change our memories to produce a new way of being in our own lives. In doing this, we alter our vibration and evolve our soul into new forms of expression breaking old karmic patterns.
