“16” – The Lightning Struck Tower, Destruction of Illusion, and the Dark Night of the Soul

The major Arcane of the Tarot, also known as the “Hermetic texts”, is comprised of 22 Universal Archetypes that operate simultaneously on multiple planes through the “creative process” conducted through the utilization of the 10 primary Universal Laws that govern all material manifestation. The first 11 principles involve the dissension of spirit into matter, and the second 11 illustrate the principles as “stages” in the process of transformation and ascension.  The principle represented by the number “16”, also called the “lightning struck tower”, describes the dissolution of the material world that we have falsely constructed as “delusions” based on our formative conditioning and unbridled passions.

As we create an illusion of the material world, we simultaneously produce a “false image” of ourselves based on how we “identify” with our own illusions. This false image as an identification with our body and life circumstances forms what has traditionally been called the “ego”, or more accurately the “false ego”, because our “identity”, which is synonymous with “ego”, is created by our higher soul. As we begin creating imaginary realities through a story we start telling ourselves about what things mean and why, we sense ourselves through the experiences we create, and shape ourselves to be of the same nature.

We’re always the main character and author of our own life story. We create our “self” by how we create our “life experiences”. This “false reality built as an illusion” is represented by the principle of the “Devil” and the number 15, which signifies our lower, passionate nature and our false belief in the “outer appearance” of things, which are actually a facade. 16 represents the destruction of illusions, which is traumatic in nature and comes as a form of “death of the false self” that was built out of and sustained by the illusion, because we’ve also constructed our “self” out of the same illusion. So without the illusion to sustain us, we don’t know “who we are” anymore. When the illusion we built our life out of becomes apparent, so does the illusion we built our identity out of.

The Lightning Struck Tower

16 is represented by the Hebrew letter “Peh”, has a value of 80, and is one of 7 double letters (pair of opposites), and is ruled by Mars. It’s portrayed symbolically as a tower (castle) that sits alone on a pentacle shrouded in complete darkness, with no doors, and three windows that are high up. The tower is being struck by a bolt of lightning and a man and woman are falling from it headfirst into the abyss of the unknown. The tower is topped with a crown, and so is the woman, representing physical reality and the subconscious mind ruling over the self-conscious mind. The tower is constructed of 22 layers (22 principles of the Tarot), and the windows are arranged in a triangular shape, representing the Triad as the 3 aspects of the mind, soul, and reality.

The power associated with Peh is the “organ of speech” (similar to key 7), and the “mouth” as the organ we speak with that calls forth and defines our physical world.  Like all double numbers, when we break it down to a single digit it provides us with a formula for not only understanding it more fully, but also for utilizing it in an intelligent manner. 1 + 6 = 7.  Key 7 represents the power of the spoken word as our “will” which is how we call forth and structure our outer reality (word > world). Just as our own words and thoughts structure our existing world, they are also what we use as the means of transforming it.

The tower being destroyed by “light” is the manifestation of a world based on illusion that became a prison from which there was no escape (no doors). 1 is represented by the archetype of the “Magus” and the “art and science of architecture” as the “house” of the soul formed by whatever we consistently concentrate on. It’s the will made manifest through the spoken word as directed attention. We’re always using one aspect of our mind to communicate with the other aspects. As we “think” with our self-conscious mind using words, we’re actually instructing our subconscious mind on what to create as an outer reality.

The two figures falling from the top of the tower are the same ones represented in Key 6 of the “Lovers”, and represents the relationship between the subconscious and self-conscious in producing a unified reality. There’s no “door” in the tower, which is represented by Key 3 (Daleth), as the “fertile imagination”, and the means through which we transform our outer circumstances. It’s the doorway that connects the inner and outer as a continuation and extension of each other. We transform our existing outer reality by working on our inner representation of it using our imagination. The secret of the will lies in mastering our imagination.

On the Metatron Cube of Space, 16 represents a “place of darkness” (North) as ignorance maintained by a fear of the “unknown”. Mars rules Aries (Key 4), and Scorpio (Key 13), and is exalted in Capricorn (Key 15). When we put these together as principles that form a kind of “code for discerning”, we get the “death of an illusion that changes our constitution”. Our constitution is our character as our mental paradigm for creating our experience of our self as a reality. Mars signifies scientific observation (sight) and the force that destroys what is manifest in order to create something new in its place.

Words (as thought or speech) are “reproductive” and generate realities as their offspring. Our thoughts are expressed through our actions and form the basis for all of our activities. Thought is “action” on the higher planes, and as we think we become the manifestation of our thoughts. From a purely psychological application, this idea represents the destruction of habitual tendencies born out of our formative conditioning (subconscious training) and traditions as the activities that formed the initial foundation out of which we formed all of our illusions. The tower represents our “paradigm” (mental construct) which keeps us imprisoned by our own ignorance.

This is one of seven letters that have what’s called a “double pronunciation” as a “pair of opposites” that are complementary in nature. The pair of opposites active in 16 is “grace and sin”, or “beauty and ugliness”. All of the issues of life are directed by human speech as a manifestation of will, and ultimately result in one or the other. Sin = missing the mark, and results in maladjustment and ugliness, whereas Grace = hitting the mark, and results in the manifestation of that which is beautiful and harmonious. We form the basis for all of our life experiences through our thoughts, passions, and actions, and when used unconsciously our creation becomes our prison, whereas when they’re used with a higher form of self-awareness, become the means through which we liberate ourselves from our own delusions.

Red is the color associated with Mars, and is an “exciting intelligence” that produces change and facilitates transformation. In order to change our situation the illusion it was built out of has to be completely destroyed and its foundation reworked. When the structure we’ve built our life around become realized as delusions of our own making and fall apart, we become free of them through their destruction. As long as we maintain them on a false basis, we remain imprisoned by them. All material structures are organized, held together, and maintained through our continued belief in them and as what we give our life-force to in order to maintain them. When the physical form is destroyed, it “frees” our attention (consciousness) and will being used to maintain it, so it can be directed into other things.

This is the same process that liberates the soul from the illusion of the body at the moment of death. This symbolizes the “dark night of the soul” that follows the total destruction of an illusion that we built our life around and fashioned our identity out of. Its destruction casts us forcefully into the unknown where we “lose our identity” and no longer know who we are. This is the same process described as the “death of the false ego”, which is necessary in order to give birth to our “true self” in its wake. When we build our “self” as our soul out of material things, we render ourselves “mortal beings”, and our material identity “dies with our body”. The death of an illusion is the death of the false image created through that illusion.

The lightning represents the “Fire from Heaven”, and the tower is the “Tower of Babel” as the “house of God” that forms the exoteric structure of religious belief. Lightning destroys structures while electrifying and fortifying them. It charges water (the Primordial Substance) with new patterns as the seed of new life-forms. It symbolizes the spiraling force that “enters into” and energizes form from the inside in order to transform it into something new. The “Supreme Spirit” is the “god of the spiral force” that fertilizes the substance of life as an organized pattern based on the frequency of the charge emitted. It’s what “breaks down the material form” that imprisons the soul in order to liberate it from the ignorance of a false identity. This is the “shock” that “enlightens” the soul with the realization and connection to its higher power. This is the power that’s “drawn down” by the will of the Magus (Key 1) and to consciously create.

The power of will as the spoken word is represented by the “double edged sword” that cuts both ways. If we take the “s” off of the back of “words”, and place it on the front, we get “sword”. Speech as will is often depicted as a double edged sword coming out of the mouth as the tongue. The sword also represents the mind and the intellect as “thought”. The scepter or wand represents the “will” that’s used to direct the “spirit force”. This is analogous to the light streaming from the Hermits lantern as the “light of realization”, formed by a 6 pointed star. 6 represents equilibrium between the two minds of the material plane (Key 6) and between the higher and lower mind, symbolized by the guardian angel overseeing them.

This electric force breaks down existing forms as the means of transforming them into new ones. The soul is commonly represented as a “shape-shifter”. In the Qabalah a lightning flash is the symbol used to represent the 10-fold emanation of the Light-power. The Tree of Life is a system based on universal principles descending into form, and then being liberated from form as a process of transformation necessary in order to ascend. A “flash of inspiration” is what allows us to clearly see the truth. It breaks down the structures built on ignorance and false reasoning. This concept is represented by the garden of the Magus (will), the throne of the Emperor (constitution), the field of death (transformation), and the turning of the wheel of destiny (fortune).

The 2 people that are falling are the same ones chained to the chest of gold coins in Key 15 (Devil), and in Key 6 (Lovers), and represent the subconscious (feminine) and self-conscious (masculine) aspects of the same mind. The subconscious is the “root substance” which takes form first as mental images, and then as physical things, and is being transformed from moment to moment based on whatever qualities it absorbs and integrates to reform its energetic constitution. The subconscious is the Prakriti of the Hindus, and true knowledge makes Prakriti disappear, first as containing Purusha (identity), and then as separate from Purusha.

The woman is wearing the “crown”, the same one that tops the tower, and symbolizes the subconscious dominating or running the self-conscious, represented by the male figure of thought and action. When we create based on our conditioning, habitual thoughts, emotional reactions, and as the fulfillment of physical passions and the pursuit of pleasure, we’re enslaved by our own creations. The subconscious is motivated by emotions and passions, and when they’re allowed to dominate and run our thoughts, create reality as the expression of ignorance. We’re often completely run by our feelings and emotions instead of bringing them under the direction of our higher will. People often fail to realize they’re acting out of ignorance by saying “I can’t help it because it’s how I feel”. When our feelings and emotions are the basis for our decisions and actions, we create our life out of a fantasy. The domination of our personality by emotion and the “telepathic invasion” through a shared subconscious, is overcome by right knowledge and true self-awareness. The most prominent form of ignorance we all fall victim to come as a belief in the division of the two minds of the material plane (6).

The crown is being knocked off of the top of the tower, representing the false materialistic notion that matter and form are the ruling principles of existence. The icon of a “crown” represents “higher will”, and is commonly misunderstood as being something that’s personal and can therefore be set against the impulse originating in the cosmic purpose of Divine Providence. We often mistake will with being a power of our personality instead of our higher, human soul, and as a result, we try and create by working against our self. This is the same tendency we fall victim to when we don’t even realize or acknowledge both aspects of our own material mind. We commonly pose one aspect of our mind against the other one, usually without ever realizing that that’s what we’re doing. This is demonstrated by sayings that are often portrayed as good advice that tells us to “follow our heart instead of our head”. To deny our intellectual capacities in favor of our feelings and emotions, or vice versa, instead of realizing that all manifestation of a higher order comes through harmonizing all aspects of our self in creating the same thing.

The tower has 22 layers of masonry, built with white bricks that resemble moonlight. Bricks are made of “clay”, just as the human body is. The human body is made out of the 4 Elements as the substance of material existence. The windows of the tower are shaped into a triangle, representing the 3 aspects of the soul, mind, and reality. All material structures are built-up by human speech through the 22 principles that correspond to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. It sits on an isolated mound, representing the illusion of personal isolation which forms the basis for false philosophies and moral belief systems. There are 22 Yods falling from the electrified sky, 12 on one side, representing the zodiac, and 10 on the other representing the Tree of Life, and the forces that are analogous to them. 12 represents the archetypal principles that form the material world, and the 10 universal laws as the process necessary for creation and transformation. They’re suspended in the “air”, which is symbolic of the mind that precedes and determines physical existence and has no physical foundation.

This process of the “death of the false ego” is the second stage of spiritual unfoldment, and transpires through a dynamic series of sudden “flashes of inspiration and insights” that bring deeper realizations which reveal the illusion of personal existence as separateness as being a “false science” that’s born out of a delusion. At this stage of awakening our whole former philosophy becomes known intimately as an illusion based on residing in a predominately unconscious state and misapprehension. This is reality formed as a superficial observation of surface appearances (Key 15), memories acquired from our ancestors (genes), false reasoning, and an erroneous theory of will. Structures we form out of an illusion serve as our own prison, and when we mistakenly identify with being a body confined to a set of circumstances, the illusion of ourselves “die” with our body. It’s our own lack of self-awareness as a higher, immortal being with creative abilities that condemns us to a life of ignorance created out of an unconscious state.

The “shock” which we often perceive as being a tragedy or crisis of some kind, is what actually breaks us free of our own self-constructed prison, and often comes as what seems like “fate” that ultimately serves to break us free from a situation that we couldn’t break free from on our own. It’s the creative force that’s always transforming and evolving itself by taking on different forms. We often become complacent and comfortable in physical circumstances of our own making, and stop growing and evolving as a result. What seems like a “tragedy” that’s destroying their house is actually what’s breaking them free of their own unconsciousness. The fear of change commonly keeps us in an unproductive state where we stay in situations way to long and become a “product of them” as a result. We begin using our imagination to call forth and create the very thing we fear and only work constructively within the limitations they impose on us. We “become one with fear”, and shape our life as the expression of our fears.

All single numbers contain the full summation of the numbers it’s constructed out of, because all laws are systematically birthed out of the one that proceeds it which lays the foundation necessary for it to naturally arise as a growth process. The summation of numbers 1-6 provides us with the principles as the process for bringing about change as transformation. 1 = directed attention and focused concentration; 2 = Memory and emotion that creates from an unconscious state through automatic actions; 3 = creative imagination where we form pictures out of words and memories; 4 = our constitution as our character and mental paradigm; 5 = the connection to our higher-self and power of adaptation; 6 = bringing our 2 lower minds into a harmonious balance with each other; 7 = will as action and the unification of the inner with the outer. The bricks that are used as building blocks for material forms that house our spirit, is represented by the Hebrew letters LBNH. Letters form correspondences to numbers, and how something is spelled gives us clues as to their hidden meaning. L = Lamed = as universal justice or karma (the basis for unconscious creation); B = Beth = concentration of the spoken word that impregnates the imagination; N = Nun = death as the transformation of form that frees the spirit from the form; and H = Heh = constitution as the word made flesh.

Mars represents “war” as the energy of destruction that’s led and directed by thought and speech. It’s the destruction of fixed form by fire (will). In terms of our mind and soul, which is the “builder of our reality”, we have to destroy the old in order to build a new reality in its place. We have to take it out its roots, so it won’t grow again. In the Hindu pantheon, Shiva is the destroyer, and is symbolized by the 3rd-eye which acts as the receiver and transducer for higher knowledge. Perfection is only found in “nothingness”, and all manifestations, no matter how fond of them we are, are merely garments. In order to attain perfection, all “things” that we identify with and use to build our self-image out of, must be destroyed. We have to “die” to our “false image” in order to transform our material existence. We have to work to emancipate our soul from the prison of an organized life, which is formed out of habits and rituals that we cling to as “ignorance of our self”.

When the “eye of Horus” (Shiva) opens, it destroys the created universe, and we emerge into a whole new dimension. This idea is represented by the 3 windows and the presence of total darkness. Opening this “single eye” allows light to shine in where we can bath blissfully in its radiance. This idea is commonly symbolized by a “dove carrying an olive branch” and the serpent. The symbol of the serpent is represented by the lion serpent (Key 8) as the Xnoubis or Abraxass, as two primary forms of desire, the will to live and the will to die, both of which are feminine and masculine impulses that drive our instinctual impulses.

Love is the primary law that unites us with our own creation, but its love under the direction of will, and not what we commonly think of as the love of emotion. In all forms of Initiation, the love of ordinary and profane things, which is what most of us think of as love, has to be given up as the first step towards a higher ideal. In order to transform and ascend the material plane of illusion (maya), we have to form a deep love for truth and the spiritual wisdom of our Higher Self. This idea is clearly understood once we surrender our belief in duality and the separation of things, and instead view life and death as a single manifestation of the same energy as a full cycle.

This stage of spiritual awakening comes as a major life crisis that transforms us from the inside out. The veil obscuring the illusion falls away and we see reality with a brand new awareness that has a traumatizing affect and overwhelms us with a feeling of insecurity and not knowing what to do. We can’t go back to living a lie, yet we don’t know who we really are or how to move forward in creating our life from an entirely new identity. The slate is wiped clean, and the painting we thought was completed is now a blank canvas in front of us, empty and bare. Everything that we used to create ourselves before is no longer within our grasp, and we’re forced to create our self and our life in a whole new way. This stage of transformation is a turning point where we are either overcome by what we perceive as tragedy and misfortune, or we rise to the occasion with a new sense of self-awareness about things that’s invigorating, wide open, and filled with the potential for new possibilities. Total destruction of an existing illusion clears the way for a new creation formed out of a clear mind, open heart, and by seeing the true light of our own soul.

“14” – The Art of Transmutation and Regulating Your Vibratory Frequency

The symbolic interpretation of the Tarot card 14 – Temperance by Dr. Linda Gadbois

In the occult sciences all “numbers” represent powers or potencies, laws or agencies, and conditions or effects. All double numbers exist as a formula of principles utilized in performing an operation, and are added together to form a single digit number as the primary law involved. All numbers are correlated with the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which also represent principles and powers of creation and transformation. When we look at the number 14, we have a process indicated by 1 and 4 in undergoing the operation indicated by 5. Our formula is represented by the equation of 1 + 4 = 5.  All of what we call “laws” is actually the processes that are at work in any situation as the basis for creating the material world. The laws themselves are what you can think of as the invisible forces that energize, organize, and animate the material world.  1 represents mental power of concentrated thought that forms the basis for all manifestation, represented by 4, and 5 is the basic principle of “mind over matter”.

We form a basic translation of the meaning of numbers by utilizing a system of correspondences as a chain of associated ideas (intuitively). All major systems of spiritual sciences (Qabalah, Tarot, Astrology, Sacred Geometry, Numerology, etc.) can be used as the means of translating each other in order to find their shared meaning. The number 14 represents the principle of Temperance and the Art of Transformation in the Tarot, and corresponds with Tiphereth (5th Sephiroth) in the Qabalah Tree of Life. The Hebrew word assigned to 14 is Samekh, which means support, foundation, or what holds something up. It’s what makes the house secure as its foundation. It’s that which sustains, preserves, and maintains our personal existence.

The literal meaning of the Hebrew noun is “quivering” or “vibration”. Vibration is the fundamental power of the fiery force (fire) that makes sight possible. Sight is the sense that observes what has manifest as a sensory experience and is the function represented by Key 4. The fire element is represented by the “lion”, which is associated with “strength” (Key 8), and the value of Geburah in the Tree of Life (Qabalah) as “severity”, which is the strength aspect of 5 (Tiphereth) . The quality associated with Temperance is wrath, which indicates a strong action that causes a quivering or trembling (vibration) movement, and is represented by the Hebrew word RVGZ, which is translated numerically through the Keys of the Tarot forming:  R=19 (value of 200), V=5 (value of 6), G=2 (value of 3), and Z=6 (value of 7). When added together they form 216, which equals 9. When translated using Astrology we get:  R = Sun, V = Taurus, G = Moon, Z = Gemini > 19 + 5 + 2 + 6 = 32 = 5, the reduction of 14. Five is symbolized by the Hierophant as the higher-self working to create on the lower plane through the 2 lower aspects of the self-conscious and subconscious mind. In Sacred Geometry it represents the Pentad as the 5th element of the ether that resides over the 4 Elements of the lower plane. It symbolizes “mind over matter” and our ability to change our physical constitution using the power of our mind to alter our vibration.

Vibration is the basis out of which all physical forms manifest. Vibration is essentially a sound (spoken word) that organizes light (matter) into the meaning as an image associated with the word. Sound as an inner voice is the mode of consciousness associated with the Hierophant as “hearing”. Our 5th chakra is associated with the throat, and “will” as calling forth (speaking) the reality of the vision formed in the 6th chakra of the imagination. Vibration is a fluctuating motion as an undulation, pulsation, and alternation that creates a “wave-form”. A wave is formed through the polarity of complementary forces that work together as a single entity. This indicates the combination of rhythm and cycles, represented by Key 10 as a completed cycle of formation and growth. 10 = 1, this represents concentration on an idea in a single-minded fashion and the attentive observation of experience.

The mode of consciousness associated with 14 is Tentative Intelligence as “probation” or “trial”, because experience is the true test of all ideas. All theory is put to the test of practical application. As we apply an idea to our life, we produce an experience. We can then modify it by working directly with the experience. As we set an idea into motion we set up a kind of “feedback loop” where we begin receiving direct feedback as to the effectiveness of our application. This feedback is recognized by paying close attention to what we’re experiencing as we apply an idea to our everyday life. Based on the feedback we receive, we modify our idea until it produces the experience of reality it claims to. All learning as the means of acquiring knowledge through experience comes through experimenting with an idea through trial and error.

Temperance means to temper and modify something through a process of “adaptation” (Key 5), which is the basis of all practical work. All things are birthed as the adaptation of a universal idea to produce a personal version of the same idea. As we draw on an archetypal idea, we adapt it to our mental paradigm and the life situation we plan on utilizing it in as a means of creating an experience, and modify it accordingly. To adapt is to make adjustments necessary in order for it to work within a special set of circumstances. As we adjust an idea we undergo a constant process of equalization in order to coordinate it harmoniously with all other existing ideas. “Equilibrium is the basis of the Great Work”. The art of transmutation comes by applying universal knowledge through experimentation in order to “grow” in a continuous manner.

The image most commonly associated with Key 14 is an angel standing with one foot on land and the other in water, holding a container in one hand filled with water being poured onto the earth, and a wand in the other hand that’s directing a flame downward, combining water and fire as the passive (form) and active (life-force) aspects that form the same thing. A rainbow connects both sides of the angel’s wings, and symbolizes a bridge that unites the two minds in a harmonious and balanced state. By changing the proportion of the qualities being combined, we alter the results. The colors of the rainbow (7) reveal the hidden nature of light as interwoven frequencies that blend together to form a unified whole. Vibratory qualities exist as complementary pairs of opposites that are extremes of each other, and are used to modify each other.

The pool of water represents the subconscious which is the seat of automatic consciousness as the “vital soul” of man (light body), which is regulated and directed by the higher-self, represented by Tiphereth (5) on the center of the Tree as an equilibrated state. Water is influenced by the Moon (as instinct) and symbolizes emotion and memory (which are always connected) that takes the shape of its container and “informs it”. This is the same pool shown in Key 18, called the Moon, which symbolizes the subconscious. The rolling hills in the background imitate the motion of a wave as peaks and valleys, which is the characteristic as a “range” of all forms of vibration. A path rises from the pool and undergoes many cycles of growth by adapting too many life situations and circumstances, which serve to modify and grow it accordingly.

The angel is wearing a crown designed as a headband with a “Monad” directly over the forehead, representing the 3rd-eye where archetypal ideas are translated into visual images that become the creative instructions for the subconscious to produce as an experience of reality. The attainment of higher consciousness comes as self-mastery where we master our lower nature to create the kingdom of the Higher Soul. Key 1 symbolizes attainment through self-realization of perfect union with primal will. Wisdom and Understanding (Chokmah and Binah) are only attained through experience. All of our experiences are created by how we’re using complementary aspects of our mind to produce our reality. If we don’t like our experience of reality, then we need to change the thoughts and ideas we’re using as the means of creating it.

The number 7 (7 + 7 = 14) represents creative expression as a variation produced through the adaptation of an idea to a practical situation that modifies it. In Sacred Geometry, the Heptad (7) is comprised of 7 angles within a circle that have no precise measurement, and so each time it’s drawn or constructed, it’s a unique variation of the same shape. 7 is the number that represents “will” as our innate ability to select a new idea and apply it in order to create something new, or transform what already exists into a new variation. We take a new idea and start by forming it in our imagination as a possible reality that serves to provide us with a kind of template for applying it.

As we apply an idea to create an experience of it, we constantly modify it based on observation of what results, until we get it just the way we want. Over the heart center of the angel is a “7 pointed star” which has reference to “skill”, because the circle must be divided into 7 equal parts that can only be estimated through trial and error. Above it is written the Tetragrammaton as the 4-letter name of God (YHVH), which is actually a formula for creating as Will, Intellect, Sensation, and the manifestation of the intellect (idea). The 7 points represent the 7 aspects of God, the 7 colors of the spectrum, 7 notes of a musical scale, 7 planets of astrology, 7 alchemical metals, and the 7 energy centers of the subtle body. All of which form correspondences of each other.

One foot is in the pool of water = the cosmic mind-stuff of the astral plane (imagination), and the other on land = physical reality produced by the mind, and the body which bridges the two as the path we walk. The two instruments, the vessel and wand, represent the subconscious and self-conscious, and the body that holds them is the soul that utilizes them as the means of creating. They flow one into another. What’s below streams from above, and what’s above is reflected below (4/Tetrad). The inner and the outer are a single stream of consciousness where one is a continuation of the other in symbolic form. Opposites act on each other to temper each other. Thought and emotion always exist in union where one gives rise to the other as an intimate interaction.

The Holy Guardian Angel deciding and administering the whole process represents our Higher Divine Self-Soul, who makes all of our tests and trials that lead us along the path of attainment. We are always the “One” acting on ourselves within multiple planes of manifestation. We exist simultaneously on two primary planes that are comprised of 7 levels of consciousness. This arrangement (image composition) is the same as the Hierophant (5) and the Lovers (6), which both show a higher being (priest and guardian angel) overseeing a young couple (male and female), where three aspects of our selves operate as if they’re one on two levels of reality. This triangular configuration represents the 3-aspects of the mind as the Higher or Super conscious, the subconscious (feminine) and self-conscious (masculine), and the two levels of reality they exist in simultaneously.

Some pictorial composites show an arrow shooting upward, representing that we have to shoot for a definite mark or goal in all of our practices. Never accept theories or statements of others as being true, no matter how plausible they may seem, until you’ve tried them for yourself by applying them practically to create an experience of them. Always test ideas through actual practice. We only “attain” knowledge through experience, and we only transform and grow ourselves through creating experiences of ourselves that bring self-realization. The whole purpose of ageless wisdom is to provide us with the theories as the basis for actual practice. It’s not designed to persuade you to accept ideas as being true through a form of blind faith. Truth can only be known through direct experience. The only true failure in life is the failure to try. Anyone who accepts an idea as being true without trying it is foolish in the most basic sense and unintelligent. All spiritual knowledge is meant to provide us with the means for growing ourselves to higher and higher levels of wisdom and understanding. It’s only by trial and experimenting with ideas that you realize truth and the power that makes the experiment into something higher than your personality.

It’s our experiments that alter us by equalizing and coordinating our vibratory (energetic) activities. We only truly “know” by becoming one with an idea as a reality that brings realization and deeper insights into our own higher nature. Everything in the manifest world is vibrating at a certain frequency, and all forms of vibration are modified by mental means and control. The entire cosmos is mental in nature. All reality is birthed through a concentration of the mind on an idea. This path (14) leads from the moon of Yesod to the Sun of Tiphereth as the higher soul working through the agency of the subconscious and self-conscious to form the etheric body (Yesod) of Light (7), which forms the vibration as an energetic blueprint for ordering and animating the material body.

This idea represents the consummation of the Royal Marriage (Lovers) where the feminine and masculine are united to form a single androgen. All transformation comes by using the self-conscious mind to seed the subconscious mind with an idea for creating as an outer experience. We change our vibration and transform our physical world through a counter-exchange of qualities that form equilibrium as the inner made the outer and the outer an extension and reflection of the inner. By forming new combinations of positive and negative qualities of the same idea, we adapt the inner to the outer and modify it into a new variation as a growth process based on experience that develops us in new ways. The robe of the angel is green, symbolizing Venus, the imagination, and the plant kingdom. All actual material objects are regarded as “dead” (fixed) by the symbolism of science. The problem with transmuting metals is that they don’t grow. Our first task in transforming ourselves is to return fixed ideas (minerals) back into a state of growing and evolving (vegetative). The best way to do this is by imitating the processes of Nature.

When fire and water are harmoniously mingled, will and sensation form thought as air, which becomes the astral seed for manifesting as a reality. Once manifest, the manifestation itself doesn’t have the ability to change itself, only the mind as thought has the ability to alter the light body that’s used to organize it. It’s only by changing the “qualities” as the formula being used that alters the manifestation that results. By changing the frequency an idea vibrates at, we change the energetic pattern organizing it. We use complementary opposites to reformulate it by mingling contradictory elements in order to modify it. We transform existing manifestations by modifying the qualities being used to form and animate it. The Alchemical Marriage comes by forming new combinations of fire and water that alter the astral body of light and vibration. The formula for continued life is death (13), traditionally symbolized by the raven on a skull. The Greenman of spiritual folklore is the “dreamer” and “redeemer”. It’s through dreaming that we continue to grow. When we quit growing we begin dying.

We only transform through growth that develops new qualities as a way of being and seeing. By using complementary opposites of the same frequency we embody new qualities as a state of mind. The internal process comes by using the hidden stone (Pineal) V.I.T.R.I.O.L., which is considered the universal solvent. This hidden stone, also called the Philosophers stone, is the Universal Medicine as a “tincture” that’s formulated by adding new properties that serve to transform the constitution of the whole. Purification comes by transforming weakness as passions into strength as intelligence. The only real difference between dead and living things is their behavior and activities.

The term “vitriol” represents the balance of 3 things, symbolized by the 3 alchemical principles of sulfur, mercury, and salt (Key 1,3, and 4). Ideas that we use to seed our imagination are gestated and developed to form our physical reality. All creation comes as speech (words) that are felt as an experience. Our vital body is formed by will, intellect, and sensation, and is what forms the energetic blueprint for producing our experiences of reality. Creating a new living substance is the path of the Higher Will which operates on the lower self by planting a seeded idea in the imagination where it gestates and grows into a manifestation as an equivalent outer experience. A talisman is commonly used to represent an idea that’s grown in the imagination and birthed as an outer experience of the same kind. It’s a vision introduced into our mind that forms our voice and directs all of our activities. It’s a combination of forces, realization, and action that form a feedback loop and provide us with the basis for making accurate calculations. We use an idea translated into an internal representation of a possible reality as the means of providing us with a template for transforming our self by producing new experiences. Whatever reality we formulate inwardly becomes the basis for experiencing outwardly.

“12” – The Initiate, the Great Work, and the True meaning of Self-Sacrifice

In the occult sciences all single numbers (0-9) represent laws, while all composite numbers represent formulas as processes and the laws that need to be skillfully utilized in order to do them. Numbers provide us with mathematical formulas as philosophical relationships necessary for creating, all we have to do is be able to accurately decode them by interpreting them intuitively in order to apply them at the practical level. Numbers are also analogous to letters and geometric symbols, and can be intuitively discerned through the dynamic series of correspondences they form with colors, sounds, ideas, objects, archetypes, states of mind, and so on. Most intuitive realizations around an idea take place as the internal unfolding of chain-of-associated ideas. Symbols are impressed in the subconscious, which speaks the language of symbols, where they gestate and grow into endless variations based on how they’re applied.

The number 12 represents the principle of initiation as the first stage of what results in “The Great Work” as a self-facilitated process of spiritual transformation. It’s represents the stage in our life where we shed the false ego formed out of our formative conditioning where we’re completely identified with our body and personality, and shaped by others and society, allowing for the rebirth of our true self (higher self) within our body. In the Tarot (Book of Thoth) it’s represented by the archetype of the “Hanged Man”, and shows a man hanging upside down between two pillars (Jakin and Boaz), with his hands tied behind his back forming an inverted triangle, and his legs positioned to form a cross. This forms the symbol of the cross surmounting a water triangle, representing the Law of the Tetrad and Triad (4 x 3 = 12). The cross is disproportional with an elongated vertical pole, representing the Calvary cross of crucifixion. This is the symbol of self-sacrifice by surrendering your lower self (conditioned mind) to a higher power.

In the “Book of Formation” 12 is one of three “Mothers Letters”, because it’s symbolic of a new birth. It’s governed by the Element of water, which is considered the “Mother substance of all creation”. Water is considered the first mirror and reflects images upside down, as a polar or reversed image. It’s symbolic of the “reflected life”, or life as an image or form that’s produced by the primordial life substance. The Element of water is represented by an inverted triangle (pointing down), symbolizing the Law of the Triad as the imagination that’s the vehicle of the Tetrad, that’s formed as a downward, reversed reflection of the Triad. Both are formed and exist as polar reflections of each other in the “Great Cosmic Womb” of the Vesica Piscis or Dyad. The overall symbol represents crucifixion of the lower self in order to liberate the “sacrificed god” of our Higher Self, which dwells within and is what gives life to the personality.

The element of water is magnetic in nature and represents turning inward to self-reflect. It’s what the Hindu’s referred to as “prakriti”, the “Great Womb of Cosmic Substance” that’s the generatrix of all forms. The principle of the triangle represents the inner imagination and the ability to shape the fluidic-light substance into forms as thoughts turned into living entities. The images formed in the faculty of the imagination are similar to reflections formed on glass, on a dark shiny surface (magic mirror), or on water. They start as neutral tones of grey that have a ghost-like appearance, then, as they’re shaped with sensory details and attributes are grown into full color images when fully magnetized with our life-force energy. We take any word, description, or idea, and shape it into a reality in our mind’s eye. This fluid, transparent light essence that we shape into living forms using our mind, is what’s referred to as “Astral Light” that becomes a kind of metaphorical template (hologram) as our “perceptual lens” that we use for shaping the outer reality to match the inner one as a correspondence.

12 is related to 13 as the “death” of the false ego and the simultaneous end of one life cycle and the beginning of a new one. 12 is considered solar, and represents the 12 months of the solar year, and 13 is lunar, representing that a solar year contains 13 lunation’s.  A circle divided into 12 equal parts is formed out of the 13th one at the center. 12 also represents a complete cycle of manifestation as a life-cycle, represented by the 12 archetypes of the zodiac. These primary cosmic archetypes form our psychological makeup as a formula for self-creation, and are what provide us with the means for transforming ourselves by making new combinations. All qualities exist as a “whole idea” based on complementary opposites that form extremes of each other with a gradient scale connecting them. For example, fear is the opposite of courage, and courage can be used to temper fear. As we step into courage as a response to fear, we create more and more experiences of being courageous in relation to fear, and as we begin accumulating memories born out of courage, we move from one end of the scale to its opposite, transforming fear and insecurity into courage and confidence.

3 is represented in the Tarot by Daleth (Empress), ruled by Venus, as the imagination or internal formation of images, and 4 is represented by Heh (Emperor), ruled by Mars, as the actions formed out of the imagination. Venus and Mars are married to each other, and symbolize the fact that all action is born out of the imagination. Fire and Water blend together to form Air, the Element of the intellect, which culminates in the Earth Element (Tetrad-4) as our “constitution”. Our constitution is formed out of our mind and imagination and determines all of our perceptions and actions. The Triad (imagination) and Tetrad (action) form the basis for all of reality.

While we tend to think that our lower self possesses a “will” to create, the fact is the Will of the Higher Soul is reflected in the incarnate life of the personality. All perceptions of the personality are produced out of our formative conditioning which serve to structure our mental paradigm as “created by others” and external factors. The first birth of our self as our personality is formed out of a primarily unconscious state where we’re given (taught) our values, beliefs, and trained to behavioral dynamics as a part of a family unit and community that functions together as a single entity. All interpretations are made through our paradigm and the dynamics we were trained to that produce all of our natural behaviors.

The process of transformation comes by shedding the ego of our formative conditioning (lower self) through self-realization, and taking on a new perspective where we assume the position of authority in our own life as being the one that has the ability to “act on ourselves” as the means of creating ourselves. We reverse the process of referencing an outer source of power as the means of creating ourselves, and turn inward instead referencing an internal source of power as our connection to our Higher Self. We become self-referencing instead of other-referencing. We begin identifying with our true self as our higher soul. We begin walking in the world contrary to others who are still locked into the illusion of their conditioning.

Our Higher Soul (our true self) seeds our imagination with ideas that serve to organize particles of light-essence into material forms as inner sight accompanied by an internal voice of a higher authority. The ideas used by a divine authority to impregnate the imagination are ones that are not formed out of our conditioned mindset or as a result of previous experiences, but originate instead as a more universal, non-personal idea. Inner light is the “word (Logos) made flesh”, represented by the Hebrew spelling of the name of Jesus – IHShVH – similar to the Tetragrammaton (IHVH), except the principle of “Sh” is inserted in the middle. “Sh” represents “Shin”, number 20, as the soul perfected in flesh that rises from the ashes of its own death as a Phoenix. Our rebirth to a higher realm of consciousness comes through an intimate connection and identification with our Higher Self, also commonly referred to as our “Holy Guardian Angel”.

Spirit is Law, and a reversal from outer to inner self-reference, is where we begin operating to create in our life through esoteric law, which exists contrary to normal ways of thinking, speaking, and doing. Most people try to create by working in opposition to cosmic law through a fundamental lack of self-awareness and understanding. This reversal of being as an internal reference to a higher source doesn’t cause an outward opposition or form of antagonism to those still caught up in their false ego’s, because outwardly opposing something merely aligns you with what you oppose. All direct opposition stimulates and makes active its opposite, giving life to the same idea.

This reversal of directed attention is undertaken in silence as private work that’s done inwardly as an unostentatious reversal of one’s own way of life that’s combined with perfect tolerance for other people’s way of life. Once we gain the realization necessary to step outside of the conditioned mindset of our lower self, it’s easy to recognize that most are still consumed with acting out the reality they were conditioned with, and you naturally lose all need or desire to judge them or try and “wake them up” to the reality of their true self. Martyrs are those who try to deliver higher knowledge to those who are not capable of or prepared to comprehend it, and were brutally crucified by the very people they sought to enlighten.

If we look around at the state of most people and society, what we realize is that most are sick, mentally depressed, spiritually troubled, can’t get along with their self or others, and become passive in their own life while struggling internally. They’ve never formed an internal connection to their Higher Self, and live out of a constant response to external stimulation and the will being projected by others. They’ve been taught to live in contradiction to law (spirit) instead of in harmony with them. Everything comes as an expression of the Law of Cause and Effect, and the miseries they inflict on themselves comes as the result of the negative use of law. We’re creating our self in every moment of our life as a specialized application of universal law whose outcome depends entirely on whether it’s applied negatively or positively.

Practical Psychology

All thoughts are the seeds of speech and actions. Interpretations form the patterns for experience. Whatever happens to us comes as a result of what we’ve selected, whether consciously and intentional, or unconsciously as a conditioned reaction. In this idea emphasis is placed on a changed point of view as a reversed perspective. As we change our perspective, what we see changes accordingly. How we see others and life is a direct reflection of how we see ourselves. As we begin seeing life in new ways, we transform our paradigm by integrating the new experiences it brings. Our entire life is formed out of how we actively employ esoteric laws as spirit. Spirit is what governs, organizes, and orchestrates material reality through active use of the 3 levels and aspects of the mind that exists simultaneously on 2 planes of existence.

Our human personality is completely dependent on the ALL as the higher power of universal consciousness (Will). As long as we live out of our conditioning and become fully identified with our personality, we remain in a primarily unconscious state, much like the lower intelligence of animals who function through instinct as a part of the group mind. By surrendering our lower self to the conscious direction of the Universal Mind, we draw all our power from above and become the vehicle for higher consciousness that brings true self-awareness. We begin creating ourselves by working in harmony with universal laws, and we begin shaping our identity through association with our higher universal self. By drawing down higher forms of consciousness that we use as the means of forming all our perceptions and activities, we become powerful creators in our own life, and engage in the process of self-creation from a fully conscious and self-aware state. By surrendering our lower self to our Higher Self, we move into a more harmonious way of being and begin creating our self to be “like god”.

The Divine Paradox

A strange paradox occurs through total submission of personal life to universal life where it makes us intensely positive in relation to others and the conditions of our environment. By transcending our conditioning and material ego, and taking on a universal and detached perspective in its place, we naturally form a very positive mental attitude. In order to have courage and perseverance in spite of seeming difficulties and disappointments, we must know ourselves to be vehicles of power to which nothing can be an insurmountable obstacle. When we no longer derive our identity out of material means, we approach every situation from a neutral stance where we can truly act as a universal force that works for the good of all involved. Our mental attitude becomes “not my will, but your will be done” through me, because we realize that they’re actually the same thing. We are the vehicle through which higher powers work in the world.

The reality created through our conditioning comes as false interpretations that form illusions in place of truth. As long as we continue to make false interpretations and delude ourselves, the inexorable laws of the cosmos work out those interpretations in ways that bring pain and suffering. Yet pain itself is friendly because it serves to educate us (Key 11 – karma). Suffering, poverty, disease, imbalance, and death, all have lessons inherent in them. These are often what lead us in our search for truth. It’s in the mysteries of death that we find the secrets to immortality. The only thing that dies with the physical body is our false ego as our soul’s identification with the personality of the body. Disciplined practice of mind control and directing our actions are necessary in order to become the vessel for higher power that ultimately transcends the lower plane of unconsciousness.

Transformative Process

Our conditioning is initially established out of our soul’s memory as our character and karma that forms all our perceptions as patterns of interpretation. These conditioned perceptions must be “reversed”. This principle is analogous to the choice of DNA, where realities are formed by whatever is made active and rendered passive, that together produce new patterns. Our souls constitution is part personality and part identity, it’s both unconscious and animalistic, and self-conscious, self-controlling, and self-determining. It’s merely a question of which perspective and aspect we employ as a means of self-creating. The mind-soul has the ability to direct the body, instead of the body-personality directing the mind. We have to decide to re-orientate ourselves to let go of karma as conditioned memory of the personality, and actively employ higher consciousness of divine law in its place.

Summary

Our constitution (4) is transformed by way of the Law of the Triad (3) that’s seeded with ideas drawn into it by the higher mind (of cosmic good) that operates flawlessly through the cosmic law of creation. The process for transformation is formulated by the Tarot, which serves as a Key for interpreting the Kabbalah, which provides us with a precise formulated process for undergoing spiritual transformation. 12 is formulated as 1 + 2 = 3 > Triad. 1 = attention that’s directed into memory (either universal as archetypes or personal as conditioning) (2) form our paradigm as filters for interpretation through the imagination (3), which uses memory as patterns of interpretation that are applied to various situations, creating more of the same type of realities as a metaphorical theme.

To change our paradigm, we have to change the memories that construct it. This is done with the creative imagination which is seeded intentionally with new ideas and perspectives to grow into new realities that are experienced within as new memory that acts to reprogram us. Concentration on laws trains the mind to operate according to those laws through the understanding of them, and we begin naturally thinking and creating by way of laws. As we learn how to apply laws practically, we learn the skill for creating our self and our life in more accurate and precise manner. We don’t need years of therapy in order to transcend our conditioning, all we have to do is realize our true nature as the very “mind-soul” that’s “producing” the reality of our conditioning, and in doing so, begin to see ourselves in a whole new light and from an entirely different perspective.

The Nature of the Soul – The Kabbalah Tree of Life and the Process of Self-Creation

The Kabbalah Tree of Life provides us with a symbolic diagram for understanding the true nature of our soul and how we can consciously create ourselves through the understanding and utilization of universal laws. It’s created as a hierarchical structure of “spheres of consciousness” as “states of mind” (Monads) that move an idea in a purely potential state into an actual expression of reality by steady imposing limitations of various sorts on it as it descends from higher to lower planes that are all a dynamic and cohesive part of the same coherent reality. The human soul is represented by the central sphere (Tiphareth) that’s located on the central pillar of the Tree, and acts as the “medium” between the higher world of Archetypes as an idea in its potential (unformed) state, and the lower world of active expression where the archetype manifests as a specific entity within a reality of the same nature and with the same likeness.

Like all metaphorical ideas that are symbolic in nature and require interpretation in order to be understood, there are as many ways to interpret the Tree of Life as there are people interpreting it. And while general ideas apply as a form of overall theme that governs the nature of the interpretation itself as an intuitive form of reasoning based on the organized structure itself, the process of interpretation comes by way of a constant form of limitation that’s placed on a universal idea as adaptation to the individuals model of the world, level of esoteric knowledge, personality and identity, maturity level, and the conditions and circumstances of their life that they conform it to as a way of forming an internal representation of it as a working reality. As an idea in its potential state is brought down the planes from a universal state to a personalized expression, it’s modified by the individual mind into a new form.

All spiritual development as a higher form of consciousness (which means it’s “creative” in nature), comes through direct experience of an idea as first formed in the mind’s eye as a working concept by the individual as a form of “embodying it”, which provides the subconscious mind of the body with the means for using it to express and create as an outer reality. Higher consciousness always comes through a form of self-creating as an “individual”, whereas lower consciousness comes as a lack of individuality where spiritual doctrine is interpreted for us by another, and we simply “accept it” as gospel, so to speak, and live our life out of dogma that strips us of our true ability to create ourselves in a unique way. Our higher capacity of the mind and soul is our “creative ability” to form ourselves out of our thoughts in a unique fashion through a process of adaptation and modification. The interpretation I’m about to give is just one of many possibilities, and is not meant to take literally, but rather as the means of initiating a natural process of intuitive unfolding in your own mind. Words can never truly describe or express the nature of the divine, which can only be known through the direct (inner) experience of them, and are only approximations of an idea.

The overall Structure as a Creative Process

The first thing we want to notice is the basic structure of the Tree and how it’s laid out in terms of representing different aspects of the same principles at different “levels of creation”. The Spheres of the Tree are positioned on three pillars where the central pillar is longer and ascends to a higher level and to the lowest level as a singular or equilibrated form. The central pillar is the pillar of equilibrium, and the two side pillars represent the masculine and feminine aspect, which when brought into harmony form a functional third. All spheres, whether single or double, are positioned at different levels in a descending and ascending orientation, and represent different planes as the creative process for forming a cohesive reality as the individual expression of a universal idea. The overall Tree is formed by a series of Triads as the “One” that divides itself into complementary opposites as it descends, then brings those opposites into balance as a functional third that expresses as a combination within the lower plane as a process of solidification of an idea through various levels of transformation that alter and modify it into a new and unique form.

Universal Laws for Creating Material Reality

The most basic element in understanding universal laws and how they work to create reality comes in realizing that structure, as how information is organized into an idea as a pattern, always determines how something functions and behaves, and is what provides the means for creating a material manifestation of some kind. How a system is organized into an animated pattern gives us a kind of “formula” as a creative process that we can use for bringing an idea into expression as the physical reality of the idea. All ideas can only come into physical manifestation “through us”. They require a “mental channel” (sphere of consciousness) as a vehicle in order to express as a physical reality. The soul acts as the “medium” for calling down an idea (resonating and acting to absorb it) into the mind as a thought and imaginary idea that it then uses as a form of memory for expressing to create an experience of itself as a reality.

The hierarchical structure of the Tree not only moves through what we can think of as seven planes of existence (which correspond to the 7 chakras of the subtle body), but also Four Worlds, which correspond to the Sacred Name of God, represented by the 4 letters of God’s name as IHVH. Each World represents a different operation in the formation and manifestation of an archetypal idea. The 4 Worlds start at the top of the Tree as the single sphere that represents the Archetypal World of ideas in their unformed (potential) state, which then undergoes a synchronized process of unfolding that ultimately acts to birth all the other spheres as its formation. It divides into polar aspects of Itself on the lower plane of Creation, as attributes and qualities necessary to form distinct characteristics, forming what’s called the “Supernal” or primary Triad that gives birth to the rest of the Triads on the Tree as a reflection and projection of itself.

Spheres 4 through 9, which form the four lower planes, is the Formative World, also known in Esoteric Sciences as the Astral-Etheric plane, where an archetypal idea is shaped by the mind of the individual soul into an actual physical reality as a unique variation of a universal idea. As it descends through various stages of formation, it forms the etheric body as the “energetic double” that provides the blueprint for producing as a physical entity and reality. The lowest sphere that’s singular in nature forms the World of Action or Manifestation as not only the physical body, but the entire outer reality of the physical body which is formed out of the same type of idea on a larger scale within the same plane.

The Tree of Life forms a hierarchical structure that moves a universal idea down into the personal realm of the soul (Astral Plane), which acts as a “medium” between the higher (pure spirit) and lower (material) planes, where it’s then used as the means for the individual soul to create itself by creating an experience of reality. The human soul, which is multidimensional in nature, uses various universal archetypes as the means of producing a “new and unique archetype” as a novel combination of universal qualities and characteristics. It takes (acts to absorb) a universal archetype as an idea of itself, and through a dynamic process of adaptation through various planes and degrees of existence, consistently modifies it into a new form of the same idea that’s bestowed with a new combination of qualities that produce unique characteristics, producing an “imaginary (inner) reality” of itself that becomes the basis for experiencing as an actual material reality. The soul “pulls an idea down” (resonates with) from the upper planes to use as the means for self-expression within the lower planes in order to create an experience of itself that it then transforms into a memory as the basis for creating itself. The soul forms itself out of various forms of integrated and assimilated memory from a unique variety of experiences that are all self-produced.

Mirroring and Reflecting

If you study the nature and structure of the Tree, you realize that as it moves in a descending manner from the upper most regions to the lower regions, it does so through a dynamic series of reflecting itself as a mirror image onto the lower plane, forming a series of Triads as energetic imprints. A mirror image is a direct reflection that’s of an opposite or polar nature to the original one that’s casting it. As we look in the mirror, we’re always seeing a reverse image of ourselves, where what appears as our right side is in reality our left side, and vice versa. We’re always seeing ourselves backwards from how everyone else sees us, and so we’re never able to “see ourselves” as we truly exist in the purely material sense.

This reveals the fact that the micro and macro are of the same nature as complementary opposites of each other on both the upper and lower planes. This same principle holds true in a linear fashion on the same plane as the inner and outer reality of the material world being of a complementary nature to each other. The same pattern forms both the upper and lower world of the soul and its material manifestation on the lower planes as the inner reality and outer experience of the same nature or idea. All are produced as a reflection and projection of the “self” on different levels and planes of existence simultaneously. This idea is represented in Sacred Geometry by the Monad (sphere of consciousness), symbolized as a dot within a sphere, where the outer reality is formed as an extension or projection of the central (inner) consciousness producing it as a perception of it. This is also symbolically represented by the “compass and square” as a 90 degree angle (L shape) that’s used by the mind in constructing the material world.

In quantum physics this is observed as the nature of light (the essence of matter as photons), which exists simultaneously as both a particle and a wave, and where two particles that are “born together” (of the same nature as a replication), that form the “appearance” of a single particle in two locations (Dyad), when separated at what seems like great distances, still continue to operate as if they’re “one”. They exist as polar opposites of each other located within the same wave-form of the material dimension as both an individual and the greater reality of that individual (Monad). Where “time and space” of the material plane exists as a “memory” created and maintained within the mind of the soul. Where an idea is absorbed and brought to life internally that forms the perceptual lens for perceiving as an outer reality of the same idea as a life theme.

Paradox and the Nature of Polarity

At the top of the Tree, a single sphere exists that acts to divide and separate from Itself as it descends into the next lower plane, forming itself as polar opposites that are complementary in nature (they act to stimulate each other into existence as an active memory).  This forms both the masculine and feminine aspects of the same idea or archetype as the spirit within a physical form. This same principle forms the basis for all of life as cellular regeneration, where the same cell forms a replication of itself as the means for self-regeneration by “dividing”, then systematically “doubling”. A single cell acts to produce all of the cells that eventually form a much greater “unified whole” as a material body that’s of a single nature. This whole material body, which appears as trillions of individual cells that have all differentiated and specialized to form all the unique and diverse working parts needed to produce a greater whole as a functioning organism, are actually the offspring of a single cell and pattern of organized- information, that together operate as a single entity, represented by the mental sphere on the central pillar of equilibrium.

Once the Supernal (Trinity) is formed in the upper plane of the Creative World as an Archetypal idea imbued with specific attributes and qualities as a “state of mind”, it “reflects itself” down into the next lower plane of Formation in a unified state on the masculine pillar of activity. As it moves from a higher plane to the next lower, it forms a zigzag movement similar to a lightning bolt that moves it from a combined state of equilibrium into an active state that reshapes, transforms, and evolves it into a new form that then reproduces on the next plane in an equalized state of harmony. As memory (archetype) is activated by directed attention as the stimulating force of consciousness, it’s drawn down into the personalized plane of the individual soul (plane of Astral Light) where it’s shaped in the mind’s eye into an actual possibility for creating as a reality. This is the sphere of Chesed, as the fourth sphere on the masculine pillar, that’s a combination of the previous three that act to birth it, that forms the first mental operation on the lower plane of Formation, as a memory formed into a possible reality in the “imagination” of the individual soul.

It’s then shaped in the imagination as a form of universal memory that’s been specialized into a new and diverse form where it forms the inner constitution (inner nature) and all activity (outer expression) of the individual soul as a natural process of self-creation. The memory turned into an inner reality of a specialized nature, is then projected within the same plane (horizontally) as the masculine, outer aspect of the same reality. This is the mental operation as a projection of the “self” on the same plane (Sephirah (sphere) of Geburah) as the soul’s inner constitution also forming the basis for the outer reality constructed out of the same memory. The feminine of the higher plane, which is a combination as a unification of the masculine aspects, forms the masculine aspect of the lower plane as an “active state”. The imagination, which is generally considered a feminine aspect as an operation of the subconscious mind, is the active component in the lower planes of manifestation, and the masculine aspect as the perception of the outer world, normally attributed to the self-conscious mind of activity, is the passive component within the lower planes. The masculine and feminine aspects exist in polarity between the upper and lower planes, and form a fundamental paradox that’s always at play within the material world of formation.

Together, as a unique formation of archetypal memory, it returns to a unified state as it moves down into the next level (center of the Formative World of the Astral plane), and forms the basis for the “human soul” (Tiphareth) as a functional whole, which then divides from itself to form the subconscious mind of the subtle body on the lower plane (Netzach), which then separates from itself again to form the self-conscious mind (Hod) of the same plane. The Soul creates the entire lower astral realm through the faculty of the subconscious, which creates out of memory to produce both the inner and outer world of manifestation as a mental construct of itself on different scales. The subconscious then acts to birth the self-conscious aspect of the same mind as the ability to witness and experience itself through the observation of the external world produced by the projection of the internal world. Together, the subconscious and self-conscious produce a “unified whole” as the etheric body of Yesod, which acts as a blueprint for producing as a physical manifestation of both the body and its entire outer reality, all of which are all formed out of the same memory being played out on different scales simultaneously as a unified whole.

Structure and Function as the Nature of Karma

The Tree is structured out of three vertical pillars (threefold nature of the mind, soul, and reality) that sit side-by-side that forms movement as a division and unification that form a self-perpetuating and self-sustaining system of self-regeneration. The pillars form the basis for polarity as both the feminine and masculine aspects of the same plane, formed out of or returned to an equilibrated state as the basis for the next plane that issues forth from them in a synchronistic and automatic fashion as a process of spirit “becoming” material form. The masculine aspect forms the “seed” as the archetypal idea that impregnates the feminine aspect as the memory used to organize light-essence into an equivalent material form as universal memory that acts as the basis for producing the “self” as the soul and the outer reality of the soul as the experience of itself in-form. The masculine pole represents the active, outer or greater reality as a pattern that is drawn into and acts to impregnate the feminine aspect that creates it as a material form that serves as the basis for producing a virtual or universal memory.

The single sphere of consciousness at the top that initiates the process is a universal archetype (comprised of a combination of 12 aspects to form a single idea) that’s imbued with all the attributes, qualities, characteristics, and functional tendencies that form the basis of reality as the natural “story” it tells as a form of personal mythology of the soul inhabiting it. The archetype contains in its latent and potential state all the information and self-organizing forces necessary to produce a coherent and cohesive reality as the enactment of soul memory that forms “karma” as the basis for reality as the soul’s life experience through the story it naturally acts to tell through its personality played out within the conditions and circumstances of its current life situation.

The upper Triad is reflected downward into the lower plane of Astral-Light in its dual nature, which then serves to form an even lower region within the same plane as the unification of its polar aspects. This unified field as a sphere of consciousness within the lower regions of the astral field forms what we commonly think of as our “Higher Self” that’s active as intuition within the material plane, and is what serves to organize and orchestrate the entire lower plane of material reality as the basis for the souls karma (creating reality out of memory). This configuration forms what looks like an upside down triangle or Triad oriented in a downward motion. Out of this sphere emerge dual aspects into an even lower region of the same plane as the subconscious mind that will form and inhabit the material body, and give birth to the self-conscious mind as the masculine aspect of the same nature. Together, these two aspects of the mind and soul produce a unified whole as the “etheric body” that acts as the holographic template for structuring and animating the physical body of the material realm, and is reflected downward into the lower plane as a reflection of its unified state as a single sphere of consciousness.

The Fall of the Archangels to form Humanity

On the central pillar of equilibrium there are five spheres as levels of consciousness, four of which are visible as actual laws, and one invisible as the “void” or quantum leap from a higher realm of existence to a much lower realm of material manifestation. The three visible spheres (Kether, Tiphareth, and Yesod) that exist within the unmanifest, purely mental realms of organized energy as equilibrated states, are commonly referred to as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost of the Trinity, and the manifestation of the Supernal represented by the Tetrad as the Holy name of God, comprised of four letters that are really three letters where one is repeated (IHVH).

The invisible sphere (forming the 11th sphere), which exists in-between the highest Triad and it’s reflection into the Lower regions of the Astral plane, called “Daath” (death), is symbolic of the “fall of the angels” (Archetypes as gods) to form mankind. It’s the invisible sphere of “knowledge” which only comes through “experience”. It’s the movement of the higher principles into the lower vibration of the astral plane of form, where an idea that’s “pure in nature” combines with an element of a lower plane, becoming contaminated and corrupted from its original form in order to produce a personalized version of the same idea as a unique variation.

What we think of as the Human Soul, represented by the central sphere of Tiphareth, or the “Son” of the Trinity, acts as a medium that vibrates at a frequency that’s in-between the higher and lower planes, and therefore acts as a “medium” necessary to access and “draw down” the higher consciousness of the upper plane while serving as the means for forming a personalized version by becoming the vehicle for expressing it within the lower plane of manifestation as the means of “self-creating”. The higher plane of the Supernal (upper most triad), and the lower plane of material manifestation vibrate at such different frequencies that they can’t resonate with each other, and so require a medium as a middle ground that vibrates at the lower region of the higher plane and the higher region of the lower plane so it can act as the channel or vehicle for archetypal principles to manifest as material forms of varying degrees and natures. And likewise act as the means for the memory obtained from personal manifestations to be returned to a universal state as the archetypal make-up of the soul. In the name of God represented by the Tetrad (different names of God indicate different operations), the H (which bridges together two I’s), is the second (Son as the human Soul) and the last (actual manifestation) letter of the name as the manifestation of the soul’s consciousness. All physical manifestation is of the human soul as “God made manifest”. The “I Am” as an actual entity and experience of the “Self” as an aspect of God.

The Mark of the Beast – “666” and its Encoded Significance as a Mode of Operation

I began this idea through research I was doing on DNA transformation by studying the law associated with its geometric structure. DNA is composed mostly of Hexads (6) with linking Pentads (5). DNA transformation in a completely natural way involves the very operations indicated by its structure (and the structure of most molecules and both living and non-living structures), which are “mind-over-matter”, and “equilibrium”, with equilibrium representing the result of mind-over-matter by balancing the conscious and subconscious , or using the conscious to direct and re-inform the subconscious. Five and six are considered a symbol of marriage as both consist of the female term (2) and the male term (3) in the mathematical formula of 2 + 3 = 5, and 2 x 3 = 6. All mathematical formulas represent relationships as an operation between all aspects of the formula as interrelated laws and principles. All of life on the material and subtle planes operate in polarity as the masculine and feminine aspects that serve to stimulate each other and work in unison to produce a material form or reality as their offspring. In thoroughly considering the number 6 in all its possible correspondences and meaning, I wondered why the “Mark of the Beast” was represented by three 6’s, and got the intuitive notion to study its symbolic significance in Revelations. What I discovered was that Revelations actually provides a formula for undergoing the process of personal transformation and what type of things we unknowingly engage in that prevent it, or act instead to degrade us and lock the soul within the body in what you could call a “dead or forsaken state”. To lay out the formula of just the 666 equation, we have to look at the significance of all numbers and factors involved. 6 is repeated 3 times, representing the 3 aspects of the self as higher, medium, and lower, which, when in an equalized state work as a single unit in a synchronized fashion between multiple planes. 6 + 6 + 6 = 18, the number of the subconscious mind (Tarot), with 1 (Monad) and 8 (Octave), representing moving to a higher or lower state (scale), the process of 9 (1 + 8 = 9) as a completion of a cycle and self-perfection. Six is typically thought of as the number of “love” (marriage of the masculine and feminine), and is represented in the Tarot, the key to the Kabbalah, as the “Lovers”. The idea of Lovers represents the relationship that should exist between the subconscious and conscious aspects of the same mind. The mind, like the soul (they’re synonymous), the self, and reality (produced by them) exists as 3-part or 3-fold in nature, and exists on three levels or planes as interwoven dimensions simultaneously, represented by multiples of three as 3, 6, and 9. With 6 representing the “medium” of the middle soul, which acts as a “bridge” between higher and lower levels of consciousness, as well as representing the single mind (material) existing as polar or dual aspects on the same plane as the subconscious and conscious mind of the body, which simply perform different modes of the same operation. Our lower self is typically referred to as our animal nature as a mammalian body, or “beast”. Our lower self exists within the material plane as both our subconscious, instinctual and emotionally driven mind that we share with the entire animal kingdom and all of nature, and our self-conscious mind, equated primarily to “brain consciousness”, which is fully birthed within the material plane and becomes fully identified with it as what we call the “ego”. Both aspects of the lower material mind form our personality and identity, and operate for the most part in a completely automatic and instinctual manner through the memory of our species, our DNA ancestry, souls constitution, and formative conditioning as basic training that shapes the mental paradigm we live the rest of our lives out of and create our own unique version of a shared and common reality. Our lower concrete mind of our animal-beast nature is instinctively driven through emotions that serve to produce automatic behaviors that don’t require deliberate thought and reasoning, or the need to make a decision, or exercise will in purposely acting it out. It’s motivated primarily by the experience of pleasure or pain, thinks in pictures and imaginary experiences, and is passive and receptive in nature, which means it readily takes in whatever “suggestion” is being given to it (by a will), and uses them to form all of its thoughts as imaginary realities that give it a kind of template or idea for manifesting outwardly as an actual experience. It moves and thinks in a spontaneous, impulsive, and urge driven manner towards anything that offers or suggests pleasure of any kind, and freezes in it tracks or avoids anything that resembles pain. Yet emotions of all kinds, positive and good, or negative and bad, are magnetic in nature, and form the basis for all natural thought processes and activities. The subconscious lacks a will of its own, and therefore doesn’t have the ability to create in a unique and individual fashion, and simply creates out of whatever is given to it as an idea, or by repeating habitual tendencies, mental patterns, and routines based on memory. It acts like a computer program and only performs behaviors, functions, and dynamics it’s been programmed with. The number 6 as love, exists as the Principle of Polarity, represents not only by the relationship between dual aspects of the mind, but also between parallel planes, which together form a singular manifestation of reality as the means by which consciousness uses to express and experience itself “as” something specific. The symbol is represented as two triangles, orientated in opposite directions that equally overlap each other or exist as parallel aspects within the same space or plane. It represents how the mental plane casts images into the astral plane of emotion which “in-forms” and fashions the etheric body, which acts as a spatial map or holographic model and energetic matrix for the physical body, which it produces as its twin or offspring through a form of regeneration. There’s a dynamic interaction always going on between multiple planes as a form of step-down process where invisible ideals as archetypes become interpreted in mental and emotional terms to form the basis for manifesting its physical correspondence within the material plane of form. Thoughts as astral images and sounds are cast into the subconscious mind, providing it with directions and information for operating the mind and body of the lower plane in exactly the same way instinct develops natural tendencies and behaviors natural to the kind, type, and species, in the animal kingdom. When people choose to live out of an unconscious state, never waking up to “who” they actually are as higher, intelligent and willful beings, they lend their will to the creation of other people’s ideas, or whatever is popular and heavily promoted as a fad or current of society. This is the group mind that behaves in a “herd-like” fashion that performs and participates in whatever its being conditioned to do by passively taking in other people’s thoughts and making them their own. They become a product of society, a slave to the greater will of mass consciousness, and run automatic patterns as thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a routine, systematic, and faithful manner, while participating in a cooperative manner to co-create the realities they imply. When we reside in an almost exclusive unconscious state, we are influenced and motivated by the magnetic forces of the astral plane that we experience as emotions and passions. We’re tempted by anything that offers pleasure of some form and that doesn’t require much effort (use of will), and create ourselves and our life out of a predominately unconscious state where we draw consequences on ourselves that degrade, defile, and devolve our soul to a lower, animal status. We lack any real awareness of truth as creative laws, and exist in a fundamental state of ignorance. We have no idea how to use our own mind and will to create by way of law in an intentional manner. Six gives us the formula for not only bringing our subconscious and conscious mind into a unified and balanced state within the material plane, but also our higher consciousness as our human soul and lower consciousness as an animal soul, which is automatically governed through the higher will as the active impregnation of the lower mind with a seeded suggestion. This process of the Higher Will seeding the lower mind is carried out through the Pineal gland as the “3rd-Eye”, which is also the 6th Chakra of the subtle body as the “mind’s eye” that forms a unified vision instead of a dual one like the physical eyes do. The Pineal gland, a barrel, pinecone shaped organ that’s composed of a hollow interior filled with fluid and floating crystalline structures, receives more blood-flow (essence) than any other organ of the body except the kidneys. Though it’s located directly in the center of the brain between the two hemispheres of the left and right lobes, it’s not a part of the brain (originates in the roof of the mouth and migrates to the brain), and isn’t protected by the blood-brain barrier, and so it’s prone to various forms of toxins which hinder its performance. The fluid substance of its inner core gathers mineral deposits as a form of “brain sand”, similar to the enamel on your teeth, and eventually forms into a bone-like mass called “calcification” that causes it to stop functioning properly. In our modern day society our Pineal is being outright targeted through various means designed to cause malfunction. The Pineal, in collaboration with the Pituitary body, is the part of the body that acts as a tuner and receiver for higher forms of consciousness that exists outside of and beyond the astral plane, and for this reason is also considered the “seat of the soul”. Six is the number that represents the human soul, as the medium through which transmission and reception of consciousness takes place between upper and lower planes. The Pineal is thought to be where the soul enters and leaves the body (top of the head), as well as maintains a direct line of communication and passage from higher domains. The Pineal is often referred to as the “star-gate of the body” (6 being a star), as the first place contacted by the “waters of spirit” and the non-physical realms of the afterlife that forms what we have come to call the axis or tunnel (axis mundi), that the souls moves through and into higher dimensions. It’s the connecting link between the human and the divine, between the Higher and the lower. The Pineal secretes a resin (pine) that’s amber color known in spiritual traditions as the “golden elixir”, with resin being analogous to “risen”. The pinecone is symbolic of seeds that are opened and released through heat and pressure (inner light) that serve to birth new realities as the offspring of the Mother/Father. The Philosophers Stone of alchemy and the Holy Grail of Christianity – is the awakening of the Pineal as the symbol of perfected and regenerated man (9) who is Divine in nature and birthed fully within an animal body of form through active use of the creative will. The Pineal contains the “waters of life” as the Chalice of the bloodline (soul’s essence), where only those of the Divine bloodline seek the knowledge of Higher Wisdom and through practical use of it, ascend to higher dimensions at the death of the body, which releases the soul from bondage of its dark, and unconscious animal nature. The Holy Grail is within the “domed castle” of the skull as our inner connection to higher dimensions. This creative process is given to us in the very beginning of Genesis with the statement . . . “The Word was with God, and God moved across the waters and called forth all of life with the spoken Word”. Words as ideas are conceived by the mind through the inner water of the Pineal, and turned into realities in the imagination (3rd Eye), which form the basis for creating a corresponding reality as a personal creation of a universal theme. The Pineal is “awakened” or made active through the activation and rising up of the Kundalini, fife-force energy that normally lies dormant at the base of the spine in the triangle shaped Sacrum and coccyx (tail bone) in someone who is not awake. The life-force energy is awakened (through intention and directed attention) and magnetically drawn up the 33 (6) steps-vertebrae of the spine (Jacobs ladder), into the Pineal where it activates (excites and vibrates) the Pineal while simultaneously detoxifying it. The Pineal produces the chemistry (hormones) that regulate “light” as cycles and produces DMT as a psychedelic hallucinogenic that’s responsible for the inward vision as a parallel reality of our nightly dreams, and is how communication from the Higher planes are received through and as our dreams and daydreams, and are reflected in the subconscious mind as intuition, déjà vu, and intimate associations that link together multiple planes of awareness. The subconscious reflects the images received by Higher consciousness as imagined thoughts that allow them to be witnessed and realized by the conscious mind The Mark of the Beast, as well as the “Name of God”, the Tetragrammaton as a formula for willful creation utilizing the subconscious of our animal nature, are both said to be written in our forehead, the location of our 3rd-eye. As the beast it represents an unawaken, primarily unconscious state of haphazard creation (instinct), and as the name of God, an awakened and fully conscious state of willful creation. There’s a massive movement in society right now, some deliberate, some simply out of ignorance, to calcify and disrupt the normal function of the Pineal gland through fluoridation of various kinds, carbonated drinks, high protein diets, heavily processed foods, microwaves, and various forms of heavy metal contamination. By hindering its function, it prevents communication as higher knowledge that we experience as “original thoughts” from being received and reflected in the imagination, and blocks or prevents the soul from leaving the body and material plane at death of the body. It literally cuts the soul off from the roots of its origins, trapping it in the lower planes of unconsciousness and ignorance. We have to protect ourselves by not engaging in the mindless activities of a basically unconscious society aimed at destroying the health and vitality of our Pineal and brain, as well as working through our Endocrine system to regulate our state of mind, biological processes and behaviors (hormones and imitation hormones). Six as the Law of “love” within the material plane, says we have a desire for whatever we love and feel a connection to, and are always seeking union with it. Love is the principle of union between two complementary opposites that are of the same nature. Naturally, some of our most basic passions come from sexual desires and attractions where we bond and form an energetic, soul union with whatever we love, lust after, or feel passion for and have sex with. Love as desire, forms a gravitational field between us and the object of our desire. Whatever we blend with energetically, in mind and body, we become one with and the “same as”. We acquire their (its) level and quality of consciousness as the same character, tendencies, and morality. As we absorb and integrate the consciousness of others, it alters ours accordingly and forms our moral nature as being equivalent and of the same kind and type, and as a result, we “share” the same destiny. The most basic way we’re always in the process of creating ourselves from both a physical and spiritual perspective, is by whatever we blend (resonate) with in mind and body and become equilibrated by as a form of harmony (coherence). One of the greatest and most prevalent ways we become degraded is through sexual misconduct and inappropriateness, and merging our soul with another just through the pleasure the activity brings without any awareness of what we’re actually doing (unconscious) or the moral consequences it brings in terms of our soul and vibratory frequency. When we can’t resist emotional impulses and the temptation of sexual arousal or being stimulated with pleasurable sensations, we fall into an unconscious state and create ourselves in a haphazard way through ignorance. The Law represented by 15, which = 6, is conveyed symbolically as the “devil” which is the Mythological god of Pan, presented as half goat and half man, with the animal half being from the belly button (solar plexus of emotion and identity achieved through emotions) down, including the regenerative organs, which is the energy we use to regenerate ourselves, and the head of an animal with two horns (divided mind), symbolizing our animalistic aspect that pursues passions and pleasures of the body in an unconscious, instinctual, and impulsive manner without any recognition or realization of what we’re doing and what it means about us. It’s creating out of our lower nature instead of realizing that we can command the body, neutralize ourselves to emotional states, and direct our own thoughts and imagination through the will and intellect of our higher nature. When we feel and cultivate a love and desire for the spiritual plane of higher knowledge, and tune ourselves to that plane by identifying with it and embodying our true nature as creative and willful beings (divine), and we learn how to use our own self-conscious mind to intentionally program and willfully direct our subconscious mind through a loving persuasive attitude, we rise above our animal unconsciousness and the illusions born out of emotional states as hysteria, and we begin directing and working through the natural forces of the material plane to create in a deliberate manner. We can only utilize and control what’s not controlling and utilizing us. Anytime we’re being controlled by passions and impulses of some kind, we’re being determined by blind forces that take control of our mind and will, running us like an animal is run by instinct, and condemning us to a mortal state of ignorance. Vibratory Frequency as our Soul’s Essence

chakra spheres

The term vibratory frequency is used a lot to describe ideas around ascension or spiritual awakening, without really explaining what it means or how to actually alter your vibratory frequency as an intentional act or form of self-development. In order to be able to work with anything in a conscious and deliberate manner we have to have a fundamental understanding of it in practical terms. Through an inherent understanding we can either employ methods or create methods of our own for working on ourselves to facilitate our own growth, and alter our level of consciousness which “is” our vibratory frequency.

In order to understand vibration, we have to look at the nature of energy itself, not as a form of electricity, although electricity is a form of energy, but in terms of the “subtle” energy that permeates all of life and the universe as a whole, which is a very dynamic form of consciousness, often referred to as “life-force” that forms a synchronistic step-down process that in-forms and animates matter through specific characteristics as a “quality” of consciousness. Consciousness itself exists as a dynamic configuration of various attributes and qualities that form characteristics. Vibration as a quality of consciousness forms patterns as a form of accumulated memory, that “in-forms” matter with corresponding qualities and behaviors.

Vibration as a state-of-mind emanates corresponding realities through a form of projection and mental filters, as a natural expression of that vibratory frequency as a dynamic matrix of various forms of memory all created out of the same quality as a “theme”. The vibratory frequency as the core or essential nature emanates and projects onto the environment and others forming our perception of them through the filter of our mind, which reforms them into the same image (basic pattern) and likeness (dynamic qualities and behaviors) as itself (resonance alters vibration and restructures it forming coherence). In other words, we reshape others to be like us by how we interpret them through the story we tell about them. The “story” we tell is the offspring of a larger pattern as an “over-all theme” which “is” our vibratory frequency in the most practical sense. Vibration as a quality of consciousness forms our character which is ideal for telling certain types of stories, which are dynamic patterns that are altered forming endless variations based on how we adapt it to a variety of situations and circumstances. While the elements being used to tell the story may change, the story itself holds true to a consistent theme. Vibrations as states have whole realities inherent in them. These vibratory frequencies as living patterns are often referred to as “spheres of consciousness”, which symbolize the Monad.

Dreaming

Vibrationally speaking, we can only enter into other spheres of consciousness that are of the same vibratory frequency, and naturally lend themselves to forming the same thematic structures. We can only perceive ourselves (what’s of the same nature) in others. Resonance which awakens and vibrates the same frequency through energetic sympathy in others, enters into them and affects them by stimulating the same qualities and bringing them out through the nature of the interaction itself, which develops both people into a new pattern (interference pattern) based on the qualities they share in common.

Vibration produces certain types of experience as it’s expressive component, that then become memory as a form of programming that builds itself out of more of the same vibration, amplifying and increasing it. Change the nature of the experience that forms a new kind of memory, which exists at both the mind and cellular level, and you form a new structure accordingly. We can only work directly with our vibratory frequency through our state of mind as a basic mood. All experience emerges as a direct correspondence to our mood. Our state determines what type of thoughts we think, what realities we form in our imagination, and the emotions we experience in reaction to our own thoughts. By cultivating and working intentionally to create the proper state of mind out of which we experience life through the stories we tell ourselves about it, we work directly to alter our vibratory frequency. By holding a certain state or mood consistently and creating our experiences out of that state, that we then identify with and become new memories which begin building up through an accumulative affect, we can literally alter, and hopefully raise our vibration through use of our will as intention action.

Because we are held within a certain vibratory range, most change comes in a gradual way as a form of progression. When we begin forming an awareness of what our state of mind is in the general sense, we can also begin realizing why our life is the way it is, and we can decide on what type of changes we want to make, and what mind-set that reality would naturally flow out of. Our state of mind is basically created three ways, each of which acts to unify the other two. Our state is created by what we focus on, what we tell ourselves about what we’re focused on that gives it meaning, and what we’re doing with our bodies as our physiology. These three aspects are always in-sync with each other. Change any one of these, and you change the other two automatically, to form a unified state.

If you feel as if you can’t control your thoughts and what you give your attention to, then you can work by way of changing the story you’re telling yourself about it, or by changing your physiology. Change what you’re doing with your body. Notice that the body is always a direct and proportional reflection of the mind. Positive states have behaviors inherent in them. Employ those behaviors, and you alter your state accordingly. By becoming active, energetic, expressive with your hands and body gestures, or how you hold yourself in general, your posturing, you feel different, sense yourself in a different way, and alter your state of mind to match it.

So the most direct way to alter your vibratory frequency is by learning how to manage your own mind in terms of what you are focused on, channeling attention into, how your thinking about it in terms of what you’re telling yourself about it that makes it mean something, and how that’s reflected in your body language. While we may think that we have no control over these in the direct sense, because they are largely unconscious and automatic in nature, the fact of the matter is, we do have control. We just have to realize we do, and begin practicing “choosing” and intentionally creating our mood by how we’re using our own mind.

By becoming aware of our different moods, and what strategy we’re employing as a means of producing those moods, we can develop a strategy for intentionally producing whatever state of mind we want to based on what type of experiences we want to create. Then, by taking control of what we focus on, how we look at what we’re focused on, and what we’re doing with our body, we can intentionally control our own state of mind, and in doing so, work consciously with our vibratory frequency and the type of realities as our personal experiences that we live out of and act to create as a result. By recognizing our own tendencies and what type of story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves, and living out by how we act and how we influence other people to embody the same mood, we can begin working consciously in our own lives to learn how to tell a new story. One that we want to tell and one that we want to use to intentionally change our memories to produce a new way of being in our own lives. In doing this, we alter our vibration and evolve our soul into new forms of expression breaking old karmic patterns.
