Understanding the Spiritual Power of Fear

Fear is one of the most powerful spiritual forces there are due to how it functions on the human psyche and within the mind-body relationship. While fear comes instinctively as the means of warning us of an actual danger and immediate threat, allowing us time to prepare or by producing an immediate response, when it’s brought into the human mind, it tends to take hold and begin running our thoughts long after the danger has passed, causing us to create imaginary realities out of the feeling of fear. While some believe it’s only designed to stop us from taking a calculated action, or as “false evidence appearing real” (F.E.A.R.), at the energetic level of the human soul, it does and allows much, much more.

In order to truly understand the powerful effect of fear, we have to embrace a number of presuppositions that will move us out of our personal belief system and into a neutral and more universal arena. One is that the soul is not the body itself, and is housed in the body as its vehicle and instrument for creating and functioning within the material world, and is actually a spirit (invisible being) in its most natural and fundamental state. The soul works through the medium of the mind as the means of creating reality. The soul is both formed and unformed at the same time and exists in a constant state of transformation based on what energies it absorbs and integrates into its mind from its surroundings. The soul is primarily a spirit in its most natural and fundamental state. All of what we experience as “emotions” that “enter into us” and produce an immediate effect in our psychological state, are also “spirits” that inhabit the astral plane, and are invisible. The human soul is the only entity in the natural world that’s capable of “creating” within the material form through active use of choice and will, which is conducted through the faculty of the imagination.

While we have what’s called “Elements” of material form that are shaped and animated by the higher mind as what we call essence and matter, there also exists what are called “Elementals”, which are the forces of Nature that enter into and inhabit matter, animating it with a form of personality. These natural forces exist in the ether (atmosphere) around us, and are constantly being transmitted through the atmosphere telepathically. All of Nature exists within the soul of the Earth as what we refer to as the subconscious aspect of the universal mind. The terms soul and mind are synonymous, and are referring to the same “organized field of energy” (paradigm), which acts as the medium for a constant form of energy exchange between the inner and the outer, both of which are extensions of the same field of information. The human soul is not fixed energetically and is in a constant eternal state of fluctuating and “becoming” based on what energies it resonates with, absorbs, and integrates into its being from the space around it.

This natural process of absorbing and integrating energy is conducted continuously without our direct awareness through sympathetic resonance. We “breathe energy” in the same way we breathe air, because air is the astral plane of energy as intelligence that exist all around us in a “potential (unformed) state”. These energies can only acquire a form and be able to express by co-inhabiting an already existing life-form. They’re not a “soul” as a multidimensional being themselves, but are merely “aspects” of the soul as personality traits that can be acquired (absorbed) and utilized (expressed) by a soul as the means of creating. They exist naturally as a part of the unified field of “instinct” that drives all animal behaviors in an automatic way. The term “astral plane” can be understood as the atmosphere which is illuminated with the sun’s (star) light. This is why spirit is represented by “breath” and the Air Element, which is formed through a combination of Fire-Light and Water-sensation, which also translates as will and emotion.

While we form a model of our material existence as being comprised of the 4 basic Elements as “states of matter”, if we look closely we’ll realize that there’s really only 2 Elements, those of Fire and Water, whose combining and fusing together as one forms air, which forms the etheric-light body for Earth, which is formed as a combination of all 3 Elements to manifest as a living being. Everything comes into existence through pairs of complementary energies that combine and fuse together to form a “working third” as a greater whole. All matter exists as an “empty shell” (ghost-like essence) that’s passive and therefore “magnetic” in nature, and only acquires what consciousness it has from the atmosphere (ether) around it that it serves as a house and vehicle for. Matter is not conscious itself, but only serves to draw in and act as a dwelling place for spirit to actualize as a manifestation.

The spirit maintains its energetic constitution while in a body and continues to constantly evolve itself by interacting with the spirits all around it, which serve to alter its vibratory state and how it functions as a result. This process of energy exchange can be fully regulated by the soul through realization and active use of will in determining what’s “allowed in” and allowed to “take hold”, and what’s rejected and kept out. But of course the soul has to remain awake and self-aware while fully submerged in the subconscious of the dense planes in order to exercise this power. When the soul becomes lost in the outer illusion of reality it doesn’t realize what’s actually happening and how it’s happening, and instead mistakes it for being real and beyond its control, creating a state of hopelessness. The loss of hope comes as a form of chronic, low-grade fear that eats away the spirit.

The True Nature of Evil

The other thing that we have to understand in order to work effectively with this idea is that what we call “evil” is not something that exists independent of us, but rather something we create by how we use our will as intention in employing certain energies as a means of creating. We have to let go of all ideas of good and bad, and of evil and righteousness, and view everything around us “as it actually exists apart from us”. There’s no such thing as an evil force out there lurking in the dark waiting to prey on us without us knowing it. There are only souls using their will to intentionally employ these forces as a means of creating in a way we call evil and bad, because they’re morally destructive and employed intentionally to cause harm to others.

Every energy of the natural world exists as what we can think of as “states” that are experienced as a kind of personality trait and attitude that functions and behaves in a way that produces a natural operation. If we have a desire to function in a certain way, we employ the proper power necessary to do it. When we don’t have the natural personality it takes to perform in certain ways or handle certain types of situations in the most appropriate and beneficial way, we seek to connect with that power in the environment (space) around us and utilize it willfully. We naturally act to “draw in” whatever it is we need in order to handle a situation in the best way possible. As we draw in and apprehend these forces from the empty space around us, they not only change how we feel and act, they also go on to become a “voice in our mind” that continues to influence our decision making process through a constant form of debate and discussion. If you simply observe your own mind anytime you’re at a point of making up your mind about something, you’ll notice a discussion takes place as internal dialogue that has several different points of view. These energies as personality traits become a voice with a specific attitude and point of view that’s always talking to us about things, trying to sway us to its way of thinking. Once the situation that we utilized it for passes and we no longer need it, it’s already set-up-house and stays on as a natural part of our internal dialogue that forms our thought processes.

The Magnetic Pulse of Fear through Abandonment

In psychology these energies are referred to as “sub-personalities”, which we also acquire unintentionally anytime we’re scared, frightened, surprised, shocked, or traumatized. While they’re useful initially in helping us deal with whatever is happening, they stay and go on to become problematic because they continue to express in the same way outside of a situation that warrants it and serve to recreate the same type of situations all over again. All energies are self-fulfilling and only serve to create more of what’s like itself. The only reason these energies are present in the situation that’s causing fear is due to the fact that they’re polarized with it, which means they’re of the same idea (nature) and are the force necessary to bring it back into balance. When the fear goes away and is no longer warranted, they switch polarity and act to keep recreating the problem that they are a solution to. Polar opposites are opposing aspects of the same thing (pattern) and always act to transform and balance each other.

 The only way that these energies are able to “inhabit us” permanently is due to the fact that our soul exited our body at the moment of the trauma, creating a vacuum as a magnetic pull that automatically drew them in without awareness, preventing the soul from fully re-entering the body when the trauma subsides. When this happens, parts of the soul reside outside of the body in the periphery of the mind (energy field), while the personality trait remains in control of the will as part of its consciousness. In Shamanic Arts, this is called “soul loss”, which is a form of spirit possession that can change the soul’s personality, often quite drastically, changing how it behaves and creates as a result. This is self-evident by the simple observation that when someone is traumatized, they go into a form of shock, and are often “never the same again”. It can literally change their personality and who they are as a person. Also when someone becomes overwhelmed with fear, it tends to bring out a side of them that normally doesn’t exist. This is because they become a magnetic for housing the energies associated with whatever is traumatizing them.

While most emotions are received and experienced while fully within our body, fear is different due to the fact that it causes the soul to momentarily “jump out of the body”, creating a vacuum that instantly draws in whatever energy is an active part of what scared you in the atmosphere around you as a complementary aspect. This can be easily understood by recollecting a time when you were shocked and frightened by something, and you literally “jump”, and at the moment you jump, you feel a strange sensation enter your body that continues to excite your imagination with the fearful feeling. You can literally feel your energetic state changing as a flush feeling or wave-like motion moves through and into you.

The energies that are instinctively magnetized to us are designed to help us in handling the situation at hand, but due to the fact that we’re not aware of what’s actually happening, we don’t realize that we’ve acquired them, and don’t know that we can mentally direct them to leave, and so they remain within us and become a permanent resident in our mind. These simple, often singular energies as states of consciousness, don’t have a will or conscience of their own or the ability to self-organize, and don’t accrue any karma as a result of their activities. So as we continue to express the emotions formed during traumatizing events as our thoughts and actions, we form karma out of them that bonds us to them energetically (spiritually). Whatever we become “one with in spirit”, we become the same as in soul essence through the memory of ourselves we create. As we create and accumulate memories through expressing certain attitudes as activities, they lay the foundation for future lives by setting us up to play the opposite and complementary role in the same type of situation and activities.

Using Our Will to Direct Energy

The only way we can work intelligently and act to willfully direct energies of the astral plane is by resolving all fear of them and their ability to play on our imagination. Our imagination “is” our will, and when we allow our fears to control our imagination, we’re lending our will to allow them to create “through us” as us. The substructure of the body is formed out of the essence of the soul, and is what acts to “bond them to each other” throughout the lifetime of the body. It’s through the experiences created while in the body that the soul generates, accumulates, and builds up memory over time, that literally “shape it” in an eternal manner through what we call “karma”.

The soul is not only fully responsible for what it allows to come through its own body (both light and material), it’s literally shaped by it and incurs the consequences of all its action as future life experiences. So you never want to allow emotions to begin dominating and ruling over you by forming illusions in your imagination that you mistake for being real, because you’re not only responsible for all of your creations and use them to shape your identity, you’re also held accountable through a form of universal justice that’s absolute and objective in its administration. Karma is universal justice that’s administered in a completely balanced, fair, and unbiased manner as your life experiences, allowing you to learn the lesson they hold by waking up in the midst of your own dream.

As we unconsciously lend our will to these instinctual forces, they literally control us, and determine our destiny as a result. They serve to determine who we become and how we behave as a result. This is why fear is the most effective form of mind control there is because it works playing on our nerves while exciting our imagination into a state of hysteria. In the general sense, all you have to do in order to control someone, or whole groups of people, is to give them a suggestion that elicits an intense feeling of fear, and simply allow them to continue thinking about it and develop it into a full-blown reality on their own. You can influence how they develop it in their mind by continuing to amplify it in a dramatic way. You don’t have to try and control how it’s developed, just plant the right seed delivered with the right emotion and it’ll take on a life of its own. They’ll literally scare themselves by how they continue to think about it. As we continue to talk about it, we keep the illusion active and growing in intensity, to the point where they’re completely overwhelmed by their own imagining, and will conform to whatever you want them to with the promise of safety and security as a resolution.

While many tend to think that the hidden powers working in the world serve to keep us enslaved as workers, this isn’t at all what’s going on in the spiritual sense. As long as we’re kept in a constant state of negativity and fear, we’re passive and submissive and we allow them to “feed off of our energy”. We allow whatever it is we’re afraid of to enter into us and take over control of our will to create. As we create out of a state of fear, producing the reality of our fears, we bond ourselves energetically as a soul to that realm, literally confining ourselves to it spiritually. We become passive, docile, and meek beings led along by a concentration camp we actively participate in creating. This is why organized religion works out of instilling a “fear of God” into people backed by the threat of eternal punishment for the mistake of not complying with submissive behavior taught to us as “slave values”. This is the true meaning of “the meek shall inherit the Earth”, because the Earth is actually a form of hell as a prison (mental delusion) of our own making. This is where our soul learns how to exercise its will to create, and usually ends up mis-creating by constructing the reality of our fears and passions. It’s here on Earth that we willingly administer our own pain and suffering as a result of the illusions we form out of emotional states.

Exercising Our Spiritual Power

The secret to working with this idea comes by realizing that none of these energies have the ability to resist and overcome our will. Their only power “over us” comes through their ability to enter into us and take over our will by exciting our imagination. We either draw these energies in unknowingly or we’re seduced and hypnotized by them through a promise of power and pleasure. As we unknowingly draw in the forces needed to manage difficult situations, when the situation passes and we no longer need their assistance, we can direct them to leave our energy field and body while thanking them for their help, and send them back out into the universe to help others in need of their services. These lower, Nature spirits that we experience as emotions can’t go against our will, and will naturally obey our commands. Will is an exclusive power of the higher soul and is what acts to direct and orchestrate all of the activities of the lower plane of manifestation.

All spirits of the material world that we experience within us as our feelings and emotions, can be directed by human will and utilized in whatever way we deem necessary to create by using them. We are only slaves to them when we remain unconscious of our true nature as a higher conscious being, and fail to understand our relationship with our body and the outer material conditions and circumstances “of” our body. Through awareness of our ability to direct our own thoughts and regulate our emotions, we can utilize these intelligent forces as the means of creating in a deliberate and precise manner, instead of giving our soul over to be created by them. The human soul governs the 4 Elements and elementals of the entire material world, and can direct their activities intentionally.

There’s a universal rule that applies to the higher human soul, no matter what level we’re talking about, and that is that no other force, power, or earthly entity can violate “choice and will” of another soul. For this reason, people have to be coaxed into complying with another will. Even the devil, which is a higher willful being, is portrayed as negotiating a deal as a means of getting a person to “sell” him their soul. The soul is a person’s will. It’s always a negotiation designed to come to an “agreement” in the form of a “contract” as a “decision” we make for ourselves that charts the course of our soul’s destiny. Other souls act to try and entice us to their way of thinking, and others seduce us with ideas of power or pleasure, and try to persuade us to take their side and become aligned with them in spirit, where we “willingly” cooperate in co-creating what we agreed to.

Anytime you’re face with making a decision of some kind while experiencing an emotion, work first to resolve the emotion. Most decisions made out of emotional states turn out to be bad decisions based on an illusion that bring a deep sense of regret and remorse as we call forth and experience the reality of our decision. Allow the emotion to completely subside and become neutralized, then look at it from a calm, practical and dispassionate perspective. Allow yourself to realize that fear is designed to stop you from taking the actions necessary to change it, and cause you to start doubting everything you know that counters the fear, and is meant to cause you to submit to it willingly.

Also allow yourself to realize that any energy acquired through an intense emotional event as a means of aiding you in a beneficial manner, needs to be dispelled afterwards. Otherwise, if you allow it to remain with you it’ll continue to play on your imagination causing you to recreate the same type of fearful perceptions over and over again. To discharge an energy from your soul’s system, you start by recognizing that you’ve acquired it, then tune into its sensation within your body, locate it, give it your full undivided attention, and then feel a deep sense of gratitude for how it assisted you, thank it for its service, and then bid it farewell and instruct it to leave your body and mind and return to the ether from whence it came so it can be of assistance to others in need. Mentally escort it out of your body and watch it completely disappear out into the space around you. All nature spirits and energies always obey the commands of our higher will which directs them with a firm, absolute, and compassionate hand. All energy is directed and influenced through mental means by using the creative powers of our imagination. The secret to will and all creation lies in the ability to exercise the power of our imagination.

Forgiveness – Transforming Judgment, Detachment, and the Key to Liberation

    The idea of forgiveness can be a somewhat “slippery” subject in terms of what it actually means and how to do it. Many can put on the façade of appearing to forgive on the outside while still harboring the feelings that led to the perceived need to forgive on the inside. In order to honestly forgive as an internal process of realization that dissolves ill will and incorrect perceptions and instills a sense of inner peace, you have to learn to look at it from a different perspective where you realize there’s no need to forgive because no harm has been caused to you. All ‘perceived’ harm caused to us by another is the result of an incorrect perception on our part that comes by looking at it within the same plane or level of reality, or is due to the fact that we share the same ‘mental and emotional dynamic’ and so participate in living it out with them as though it’s real. Whenever we reside in or are conditioned to the same dynamics and story-line as another, we ‘resonate with them’ and are effected by them in terms of ‘feeling hurt by them’ somehow due to their actions towards us. They say or do something that hurts us, makes us angry, or creates an intense sense of losing something we value, and we not only react to it in a like manner, playing a role in the drama that ensues, but we continue to dwell in vicious, condemning, criticizing, and hateful thoughts long after the fact, playing them over and over in our mind letting them eat at us, and ultimately come to define us. We engage in the act of judging and cursing the other in a compulsive and seemingly uncontrollable fashion, while simultaneously perceiving the need to forgive because we’ve been hurt, damaged, suffered a severe loss, or have been reduced and diminished somehow. Yet as long as we stay in the same ‘shared mindset’ as a drama and behavioral dynamic, we can’t ever really forgive them because we continue to use our will and mental power to keep the perceived offense alive by continuing to think about it and relive it while revolting and attacking back, or somehow getting even by hurting them in the same way we imagine we’ve been hurt. Yet the part of this equation we often fail to recognize, is that what we’re calling ‘being hurt’ is actually something that we are willingly doing to ourselves with our own mind and body by readily taking in the energy being projected at us by the behavior of another, letting it take hold inside of us, and giving it life by letting it completely run our emotions and imagined thoughts. We are in reality choosing to let another use our will to continue hurting us over and over by continuing to harbor and think about it while replaying it in our mind in a constant and compulsive manner. We are in fact cooperating and fully participating in co-creating the reality of the shared drama. The strange truth of all of life that we often fail to realize in the most fundamental sense is that no one is ever doing anything ‘to us’ in terms of how we ‘experience’ the events of our life. While someone can certainly hurt us physically, behave in a way that causes us to feel pain, take away something we value, or lash out and attack us with the intention of hurting and diminishing us by captivating us under their spell, how we ‘form the experience’ of whatever happens is something we completely create with our mind and emotions. Only we form our own thoughts and tell ourselves a story about things that give them the meaning they have and what they mean about us, the other person, and the way the world is, as a result. The meaning we give things that forms our story about it is usually based on the emotional charge of the actual event, or is what acts to invoke that ‘state of mind’ that we start using to create in other areas of our life as well. A story we begin telling ourselves about being betrayed, not wanted, used, etc., can become a life theme that begins shaping us in all areas of our life. We can just as easily choose not to let the emotions and actions of others in, not give them life inside of us, and deflect them back to them by remaining steadfast in the realization of what’s actually happening. As another person lives out their drama as a theme of some kind that’s actualized through their perceptions, emotional states, and behaviors, is simply showing us in very immediate and direct terms who they are as a person and what their model of the world is. Their actions only reveal ‘who they are’ in unmistakable terms. They’re showing us the delusion they’re conditioned with and the story they’re acting to tell with their life. It says nothing about us, unless we let it. We have to agree to play out the same drama in order to enter into a reactive state and respond in a like manner, which is the only thing that makes it real. The problem that we have in life is that it’s difficult to stay conscious, especially through extreme experiences of emotional intensity or where we feel like a lot is at stake and we stand to lose a lot. It’s the emotions that are at play that are very magnetic and draw us into things in a completely unconscious manner because they create an internal experience that makes them seem real. Emotions are the energetic language of the material plane that ‘infect’ us, stimulate us internally, activating and causing us to take on the same emotion, which amplifies it. Emotions serve as ‘themes’ that have whole realities in them as the type of experience that naturally produces, increases, and gives us more of that emotion. When infected with an emotional charge, feeling a pronounced and often overwhelming internal sensation, we tend to automatically take it on and allow it to run our mind producing the illusion of the emotion as a shared reality and control our behavior as an equivalent response to that reality. It literally renders us unconscious and we go into an automatic mode. We’re being completely controlled and determined by the other person through a shared and agreed upon illusion as the story we act out together with them. This is the most basic form of choice and free will that’s engaged in at a purely unconscious level. We feel as if we have no control over it and are subject to it as a form of victim. We give our power over to the same natural forces that are governing the other person’s behavior. The way to overcome the laws and events of the lower material plane, is to rise above them to the higher plane governed by complementary laws, and use those laws to counteract the lower ones. The higher plane that’s parallel to this one as the subtle plane of higher consciousness, where the “Higher Self” resides, looking over and guiding us on the lower plane, does so through a form of total detachment from the illusions (emotions) of the lower plane. This higher consciousness, which is also a part of us, operates through what’s called the ‘witnessing’ faculty of the mind, and when employed by perceiving something from a detached perspective that doesn’t make it personal or internalize it, we can ‘see the illusion’ of the situation that the other person is caught up in and perceiving as being real. When we move into a position and perspective of detachment and look at everything in a non-personal way, we can not only see it clearly as an illusion (because we don’t share it, which is what makes it real for us), but it doesn’t act to produce an effect in us. We’re not stimulated emotionally by it. The emotional charge of it doesn’t enter our mind and body because we don’t resonate with it (we only absorb what we resonate with). We can see it from their perspective in an unemotional and dissociated manner. It doesn’t enter into our mind and body and produce a ‘like’ effect. Once we can view it in a neutral manner without participating in it, we don’t form an emotional reaction to it. It’s only in the emotional reaction that we feel hurt and suffer pain of some kind that causes hatred, resentment, animosity, pain, and the desire for revenge by hurting them back in the same way and to the same degree that they hurt us. When we can learn how to exercise full control over our own mind and don’t allow it to be controlled by others and natural forces by engaging in emotional dramas that are delusional in nature (made up), we can stay fully conscious and self-aware in even the most intense situations. If we cultivate a constant perception of being detached from the world around us (in it but not of it), realizing that nothing anybody else does has anything to do with us unless we let it, we begin cultivating peace of mind that comes from residing in the truth rather than delusions. When we don’t take things personal, they don’t continue living in us long after the event has past. We don’t harbor ill will against the person and continue to constantly think bad thoughts as a form of retaliation and wanting to strike back, and it doesn’t become a part of our life or serve to define us in any way. When we’re not hurt by the actions of others because we don’t live in the same reality or personal illusion as they do, there’s no need to forgive because no damage was done. We don’t poison ourselves with the negative thoughts as judgment over another, that’s actually only hurting us. As we imagine we’re judging another through criticizing, hurtful, vindictive thoughts, we are programming ourselves with those thoughts, saturating our body with the chemistry of those thoughts, and proceed to continue creating more experiences of the same nature. We use the reality produced by those thoughts as a perceptual filter to see ‘all’ people through, and we become the “type of person” indicated by our judgments as emotional thoughts. We perceive ourselves through our own judgments as being the complementary polar opposite as the victim (subject to) of another person’s behavior. We become subject to our own judgments as a constant thought process and emotional state produced by those thoughts. We become by way of our own thoughts and emotions as our state of mind (vibratory frequency). As we program ourselves with our own emotional states, we vibrate at that frequency, and become a magnet for more of “those type of people” who will willingly cooperate in acting out more of the same type of dynamics, giving us more of the same type of feelings, emotions, and experiences. We perceive everyone and everything (including ourselves) out of our perceptual lens and filters created by our thoughts, judgments, and the meaning we give things. We become the mental, emotional, and physical equivalent of our perceptions. When we detach ourselves from the reality of others, seeing ourselves as not being a part of the same delusion (conditioning), and realize in absolute terms that their behavior says nothing about us but only reveals who they are and what type of issues they’re living out of that they’re mistaken for being real, we remain unaffected by them, and we never form hurtful, negative reactions to them. We never engage in, agree with, and act to cooperatively participate in playing a key role in their imaginary dramas. By realizing they’re only caught up in their own delusions and those of mass consciousness (what they’ve been taught by society), and don’t really have an actual awareness of what they’re doing in the sense that it’s their own creation, not only will you not form any ill will towards them, you can still feel a sense of love for them. Not a personal or romantic love, but the type of love you feel for a child that’s still learning and doesn’t realize what it’s doing in the real sense of things. As Jesus said in the midst of being tormented to death, “forgive them Father, for they know not what they do”. People honestly don’t realize they’re caught up in an illusion of their own making or subject to a form of mass hypnosis. The perceived need to forgive simply shows you that you’re invested in, and affected by the same delusion as an emotional drama and behavioral dynamic. It can help you to realize things about yourself that may be difficult to see in the light of day. It’ll show you what your own ‘issues’ are that you’re not fully aware of and so still get “taken in” by. And of course it’s easy to see that whenever we harbor and keep alive negative thoughts about another that run through our mind in a compulsive manner, that it keeps us in that “emotional state” and “diminishes” us with the same ideas as the thoughts. We literally ‘become’ the same as our thoughts. When we hate someone, and dwell in the thoughts and emotions of hate, we lend our will to create hate and become hate itself in mind and body. We become a hateful person. We represent hate, and channel our life-force into the reality of hate. We simultaneously hate ourselves by becoming the channel for that reality, and use our will unconsciously to create it as our experience of life. In order to understand this idea, we have to look at the nature of a reaction, and what’s actually happening when we react, as well as what it means to “heal” in the sense that it’s being used here. Someone who acts to stimulate you into a reactive state because of how they’re being, what they’re doing or saying, or how they’re treating you, shows you areas about yourself, that you still remain unaware of,  either through denial, repression, or conditioning of some sort. Anytime we begin reacting, we switch into a form of auto-pilot, and literally go unconscious to what’s happening and what it is we’re actually doing. We’re being “controlled” by the person or idea that’s eliciting an immediate reaction in us. Because of this instant, automated factor, we not only create out of an unconscious state, but we do so by repeating patterns born out of memory of the past, which is what gives us the pattern necessary to act out in an automated fashion, requiring no awareness or thought process on our part as to what we doing and why, let alone realizing the consequences we draw to ourselves while in the illusory state.

Reactions come through associations of some sort that instantly references a memory where the same type of idea was being played out (which is the triggering mechanism), where we pull it out, superimpose it over the current situation using it to perceive it through, making it about the same idea, and act the same way we did in the memory, by making what’s happening in the present mean the same thing as the past. Our mind registers that “this” is the same as “that”. Because we make it mean the same thing, and therefore react in the same way, we can be triggered into a blind reaction by a behavior, tone of voice, a feeling, an attitude, an emotional state being demonstrated around us, the words being used, or through an idea being played out that we have strong emotional ties to that form what we call our “issues”.

Reactions can be both of a good nature, stimulating positive emotions that bring about pleasurable experiences, or of a bad nature that stimulate negative emotions that are painful and violent, and ultimately destructive in nature. But no matter the nature of the experience it causes, it comes as being controlled by whomever or whatever is causing the reaction, and going unconscious in our own life and acting in a way that creates our experience, shapes us by way of our own self-created experiences, and renders a like reaction to our actions as a chain reaction, where what we do in a reactive state becomes the cause for producing an equal or greater reaction in others, which becomes self-perpetuating and gains momentum through escalation. This is the most basic form of repeating the past in the present, or being a product of our conditioning and what we call karma, and the basis for all “sin” as creating while in an unconscious state and unaware of what we’re doing, and therefore creating in error.

The opportunity being offered anytime we’re feeling stimulated inside to instantly react to something outside of us in a pronounced and intense manner, is it allows us to see what idea as a conditioned memory is still alive in us, able to be activated and repeated in the present, causing more of the same ideas and situations as in the past. In shows in what ways we are controllable by outside forces, and how we keep repeating the past in the present as a means of determining our future. It allows us to see what our karma is as unconscious tendencies that we repeat over and over without any actual realization of what we’re doing. It allows us to see things about ourselves that we don’t normally see or recognize, because we’re covering them up or justifying them (as being real) through the story that we keep telling ourselves about them that make them seem real and true, and therefore justify our right to feel the way we do and “keep” them.

By realizing this ability to show us aspects of ourselves that we remain unaware of, where we build an illusion around it through the story we tell about it that makes it appear different than it really is, we fail to own it or be able to regulate it through awareness and willful action. If we completely remove all attention from the outside source causing the reaction, and instead place all of our attention on what’s happening inside of us that has nothing to do with what’s happening outside of us, we can see a process that takes place, instantly forming a “version of reality” that we systematically superimpose over the present situation as a means of instant interpretation that has a whole, preprogrammed pattern of behavior inherent in it as what we did before when the same thing happened to us. If we refrain from actually reacting while still letting the process that’s going on internally continue while observing it, we can notice what memory we associate to it, reference in relation to it, and use as an automated program for repeating a past idea by acting it out. We can notice what begins running through our mind as a story we start telling ourselves “about” what’s happening and what it means about us, other people, and the way the world is in general. Through reactive behaviors we repeat the patterns of the past in the present and they set the basis for our creating more of the same idea in our future. If we turn all our attention inwardly while allowing the reactive state to continue playing out in us, we’ll get a very clear idea on what areas in our life still remain unresolved and alive inside of us, that we’re continuing to create out of.

Through awareness alone, we can see our own internal process for how “we create” the reactive state as a means of cooperating with the same quality of consciousness in the present that we did in the past. We can witness what we’re doing to create our reactive state. Nobody ever “makes us” do anything, they just provide the stimulus for us to do it to ourselves. We create the inner state which produces the outer behavior as what we call a reaction that’s compulsive in nature. Nobody ever really controls us, we simply fail to be able to control ourselves, and in doing so, allow ourselves to be controlled by others. Because we imagine that something’s being done “to us” by another, we claim no responsibility for our own actions, and instead blame it on the person causing it. Blame itself is an illusion, because our internal state is always being conducted by us, and whatever is being done to us, is being done by us through a lack of self-awareness as to who’s doing the doing. So by becoming aware of what memories we have associated to reactive tendencies, and how our memories of the past continue to define us by shaping our experiences in the present, we can neutralize the “triggering mechanism” as an emotional charge, and in doing so, consciously decide how we want to perceive and respond to whatever is happening in the present moment, with full awareness of what we’re doing and what will result from what we’re doing.

Most of our memories as our primal conditioning are created by the mind of a child ingrained with a certain nature, predisposition, temperament, and tendencies, as an “interpretation” of events and activities in order to make sense of them, which comes by way of the meaning we give them that fashions the story we begin telling ourselves about them as a result. This story, formed from the imagination, intelligence and emotional state of a child, forms our “core beliefs” as the reality of our story and what’s required to sustain it, which is a personal creation as an illusion, which continues into our adulthood, where we continue perceiving reality according to our childhood story. Our beliefs shape our reality, not in the literal sense of the external elements themselves, but in terms of what we see and don’t see in any situation and how we interpret it to give it the meaning it holds for us as the means of experiencing it, while shaping our identity by way of our story about things. In this way, our memories, which are formed largely through an imaginary process of storytelling based on not knowing the true reality or other facts to what’s going on and only viewing it from “our perspective”, becomes our programming as our perceptual lens and mental filtering system, which forms the basis of all our perceptions of what we call reality, which is in fact a subjective experience of an outer objective reality. In this way our beliefs replace “actual” objective reality as an illusion that becomes a delusion, because we live out of this illusion as though it was true and thereby making it true for us.

As we witness the whole process that’s taking place within us, and being conducted by us, while shutting off all reference to the outside conditions and circumstances prompting the internal process, we can see clearly the illusion of it. We can see what we’re doing to ourselves to create the emotional state of the reaction. Through this self-awareness of the true reality of the situation, neutralizes the emotional charge as the triggering mechanism, dulling

the compulsiveness, and in that moment of calm where their used to be a storm, we realize we have a choice. We can choose how to first perceive it in a new light from a new (mature) perspective by staying in the present with what’s actually happening now, and how we want to respond accordingly. What originated as a thoughtless, knee jerk reaction, becomes a thoughtful relaxed response. In this way, the only thing that has changed, is that we took control of our own internal process instead of forfeiting it to others. We move from being “other referencing” to being “self-referencing”. By becoming aware of what we were previously unaware of, it loses its grip on us, and we find ourselves easily taking control of what was previously out of control.

Once we realize that our “perception as an interpretation” is actually something we do with our mind as a process of association and referencing the past with the present, we can actively engage in incorporating new models and paradigms necessary to form new types of experiences. We can literally take control of our own internal mental processes and direct them in an intelligent and deliberate manner by learning how to work by way of the laws as natural processes of the mind to create reality as a personal interpretation of what originates from a neutral set of events, completely devoid of personal meaning. Things only mean what we make them mean. Meaning is something we assign to material things as a way of interpreting them through a story about them as a way of experiencing them while simultaneously fashioning ourselves by way of our own perceptions. We can realize, that any time we experience being controlled by somebody else through a reaction were forming to them, we can realize that what’s actually happening is we are failing to take control of ourselves and turning over that right to another by remaining unaware of our own internal experience as a creative process. As we become aware of how we create our experiences, and we learn how to take control of our own internal processes, we come to a place where we no longer react, and instead remain relaxed and calm inside, and able to think clearly through an isolated state of inner peace. By taking control of our own mind, we exist in a constant state of introspection, that once we master, forms inner peace as self-awareness, responsibility, and competency in regards to our own self-creation and soul evolution.

Mastering the Creative Power of the Word through the Self-Realization of Thought

Our Thoughts Create our Experience of Reality as a Personal Delusion

Many of us have heard about the true power of our own thoughts, which become expressed through talking, and the power of talking to direct the thought processes of others, but we often still don’t know how to bring this knowledge into practice within our daily life in order to become more self-aware. Words are representative of ideas, and when thought or spoken, create whole imaginary realities out of them. How we talk, or the type of stories we’re always in the process of telling through expression of our character and how we’re being, is the expression of the same ideas we’re always dwelling on internally, and the same ideas and stories we’re always telling ourselves as a way of making sense of things, that give, what is in fact “neutral events” or circumstances “personal meaning”. The meaning we give things, not only means something about others and the way life is in general, but also means something about us. We’re not only the storyteller of our own life, but we’re also the main character in our own story. The reality we create by “how we think about things”, and what dramas and dialogues we naturally participate in co-creating, act to shape “who we are” and how we’re always “being”. We’re not only the sole creator of our life in terms of how we experience it by what we tell ourselves about it, but we’re simultaneously creating our “self” by way of our own thoughts, inner imaginings, and outer expressions.

While we’ve heard the fact that we “become what we think about”, so much of our feeling, thinking, and imagining is unconscious (not directly aware of it) and automatic, that we often don’t realize that we can in fact learn how to take control of our own mind, deliberately direct our attention, and become fully aware of what we’re acting to create, not only in our self and our own life, but also in the life of others. Even when we set and intention to become more self-aware, that awareness comes and goes throughout the day, and we can lose track of it almost entirely once we go out into the world and begin interacting with others and functioning in a role of some kind. We spend far more of our time engaged in unconscious thoughts and behaviors (automatic) than we do in a direct awareness of what’s happening and what our part is in co-creating it. Once we become triggered to fall into reactive behaviors, we lose all awareness and fall into habitual states and tendencies. Many people can spend the better part of their day, or entire life without any real (direct) awareness of the activities of their own mind and how or what they’re thinking about, and why.

While most think of communication as something we do with others, the fact is we’re always engaged in the process of communicating with ourselves through our own internal dialogue, as well as receiving communication from purely invisible sources that came as insight, intuition, and inspiration of some form. Thoughts as mental impressions are always being transmitted in the space around us, and we “pick up on them” as “popping into our mind”, or coming to us in a natural way that we mistake for our own thoughts, and don’t realize that we’re “receiving” them from others as a subconscious form of influence and suggestion. When we’re picking up on thoughts from our immediate environment, they come more as feelings that form mental impressions as an inner imagining of an idea or scenario, which comes to us in a spontaneous and subtle fashion. Because we’re only capable of “receiving” thoughts that correspond to our own natural style of thinking through a basic form of resonance, these thoughts seem natural to us and so we perceive them as being our own thoughts.

Subconscious forms of communication don’t come as “words” or talking, which is a product of the conscious mind, but come as feelings that form impressions much like we experience a memory. It comes as “playing an idea out” in our mind, or as observing it as a reality of some sort that stimulates a natural thought process in us as a story we start telling ourselves about it. The nature of the story we’re always in the process of telling is our “fingerprint” or personal style, and modifies the basic idea being received to conform to our style of thinking. The thought transmission acts more as a generic or universal idea as a kind of seed or potential for thought, that spawns a whole unfolding in our mind as a living reality of some sort. As we “receive” the idea into our mind, we “blend with it”, and transform it accordingly to produce a personalized version of the same idea. So we don’t “think” the same thoughts of another, but rather think the same “type of thoughts”.

We also act as a receiver for what we can call “higher forms of knowledge” that come as an intuitive (intimate) process also, that involves more of “hearing a voice” talk to you about something, and though it’s your own inner voice, it’s being used by a different authority. It’s always telling you things, or showing you things that you don’t have any way of “knowing” through your own experiences. These thoughts come more as a form of teaching, revealing, or guiding. It’s never demanding, forceful, or acting to “tell us what to do”, but simply guides us by revealing the true reality behind things, directing our attention to something that we’re not seeing on our own, or gives us a preview of what’s to come through the activities we’re engaged in, while always leaving it up to us to make up our own mind about it. This voice always has our best interest in mind, works for the good of everyone involved, is never about material ideas or desires of some sort, and never preys on our emotions, but instead invokes in us a sense of wisdom and all-pervasive knowing. We communicate with this same source through a constant form of prayer, as well as through our general thinking. Our thoughts as our internal dialogue “is” how we communicate and interact with the invisible, spiritual world of pure ideas. So we are constantly engaged in multiple forms of communication between multiple dimensions at any given moment in time, and form what we call our “reality” out of this interlaced matrix.

While we are somewhat aware of our thoughts in the general sense, because we’re always fully “within” the reality of our own thoughts as a storyline (illusion), we can’t really see them for what they are in terms of viewing them in an objective and detached manner. We often don’t realize that our “story about things” is purely a self-created idea, and we are the “only ones” who see and experience things through our own story about them. Many think that what they’re “seeing and involved in” is a neutral and objective reality that everyone is seeing equally. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. Even when we do gain a flash of realization about how our own mind is acting to create our reality, and we see something about ourselves that we “don’t like” or we realize that it may actually be something we’ve made up, we immediately go into the mode of justifying our right to feel that way, or why we’re telling that story (because it’s true), or explaining our point of view, and so on, even to ourselves! We figure that if we can explain it or justify it, then we can make it true and real. And because we’re “living out of this story” and have built our identity with it (become the character of this story), we don’t realize that it’s actually our mind’s ability to create realities that become delusional. We fall victim to our own minds creative abilities because we’ve spent our whole life subject to our own internal voice as our thought processes that are always interpreting the outer events of our life to give them the same meaning and tell the same type of story about them. Most, honestly don’t realize what they’re actually doing, and this subliminal mental power that they possess.

One of the easiest ways to begin becoming self-aware and to begin understanding how your own mind works, is to develop the process of self-reflecting or introspection. It’s easier to start with ideas that don’t have an emotional charge, or that we don’t have strong “needs” or desires invested in, because nothing causes us to go more unconscious than reactive and need-fulfilling tendencies. We can sit and relax, or simply relax while engaged in some activity, and let your mind “think” whatever it naturally thinks, without trying to control it, stop or divert it, or go into defending it somehow, and move into a detached, dissociated position of simply observing your thoughts as if another person watching them. As you listen to your story about things, simply become aware of what it is. View it without any form of emotional reaction to your own thoughts. As you do this, allow yourself to realize that “how you” reshape reality as an experience of it comes by way of your perceptual lens that “interprets” neutral ideas through a story that forms how you “experience” it, rather than “as it actually is”. Our mind doesn’t manifest or create the outer elements themselves, but rather reorganizes them into new compositions as an adaptation to our story-line. Our mind creates personal versions of a neutral outer reality by the story we tell ourselves about it. This story-line as a “theme”, is the vibratory frequency of our mind that reorders the elements of the outer world which contains the potential of “all vibratory frequencies”, into a new and variable pattern through resonance. It (our mind) only “sees” in everything else what matches it in terms of its natural expression as a frequency that has a distinct pattern or template inherent in it, that selects (chooses) only relevant items necessary to shape into its story, while ignoring or failing to see (doesn’t resonate) with anything that doesn’t, or that would act to contradict it. As you form realization around the “theme” of your story, allow yourself to simultaneously realize the true neutrality of the situation by releasing all attachments to it, or without “needing it” to be something specific.

As you gain self-awareness in common moments that don’t have strong emotions attached to them, practice this same process for areas of your life that produce a reaction of some sort in you. Again, let the idea play out naturally without trying to alter, control, or prevent it, and simply become aware of what story plays out in your mind about or around it. Allow yourself to notice that the type of story you tend to tell is formed in the most immediate sense out of the emotional state that you employ while “thinking about it”. Thought and emotion are always married, and emotions have distinct realities inherent in them as the outer experience that expresses the emotion and creates the experience necessary to sustain the emotion or give you more of it. Our thoughts as sensory ideas form the elements of our story, while our emotions are what “shape” the nature of the story we tell that gives it meaning or makes it significant (to us) somehow. As you become aware of how thought and emotion are always working in a complementary fashion to form how you shape and experience your outer reality, gain a sense of the emotions you tend to employ as a general rule. As you become aware of this, and while still embodying that emotional state, allow a chain of association to form of memories that are also associated to this emotion that act to tell the same type of story. As you become aware of his . . . . Just sit with it while concentrating on it, and allow whatever realization to come while continuing to observe them from a neutral and detached state.

As you begin practicing various forms of self-realization into the workings of your own mind, you’ll simultaneously start understanding how your mind works to create the “illusions” of reality that you’ve formed your self-belief out of, and mistook for being “real” and “who” you actually are. You can begin realizing how you’ve lived out of what has been primarily a delusion of your own making, which resulted from your inability to take control of your mind and intentionally direct it. We can only work with what we have a “working (conceptual) understanding” of. Once you become aware of your own mind’s ability to create fantasy based realities through a theme as a story-line that reshapes everything accordingly, you can begin realizing how you’ve developed your sense of self based on this delusion, and you can decide to let go of your story about things, and begin telling a new story that’s produced from learning how to operate your own mind intentionally, direct your own thought processes, intentionally employ positive emotional states, and mind what you say or talk about to others.

What we talk about brings an internal thought-idea into the external world as a projection. What we communicate outwardly reveals our thoughts and life story going on inwardly. What we say, or speak outwardly, directs the minds of others to think the same type of thoughts, invest in the same type of realities, and form an impression of us in terms of what kind of person we are. Anything you “speak” you create in the outer, material world. You give an internal idea life outside of you. It reveals how you’re interpreting everything in the outer world from your internal perspective to tell your story about it. It shows what “type” of reality you’re invested in, conditioned too, and what pattern you act to naturally create as your natural self-expression and influence over others. By recognizing your own life story as a theme, and how you’re always perceiving out of that theme to reform objective reality into a personalized version, which makes you into a certain type of person by way your own story, you can gain awareness of your souls vibratory frequency, and the creative process necessary for transforming it.
