Personal Existence and the Relationship between the Subconscious and Self-Conscious Mind

Reality as a personal (bodily) existence comes as a manifestation of the relationship between the subconscious and self-conscious aspects of the mind. Both of these aspects exist as “modes” of universal consciousness. What we form as our “personality” on the material plane has no actual separate existence from all of humanity while in the material plane because we all share the same subconscious mind. What we refer to as the “mind” is an invisible field of encoded information that naturally acts to give rise to an entire Eco-system.  

Our subconscious is an aspect of the “collective unconscious” that’s inherent in all of Nature and is formed out of the Earth’s Soul or material mind as what we traditionally call our “lower self” or “animal soul” of pure instinct, which is driven primarily by emotions, passions, and impulses. The entire lower plane of material manifestation is “of” the subconscious which acts to birth the self-conscious aspect of the same mind through a growth process that moves us from an experience of unity to one of perceived separation.

The self-conscious aspect of the material mind is an outgrowth of the subconscious and is birthed (exists) fully “within” the body and ultimately serves to form our “identity” as the body and personality of our conditioning. While our soul is within the Earth’s plane all “self-awareness” comes as an awareness of our body and the outer reality produced by the group subconscious of the Astral Field of Light (atmosphere). We all exist within the collective consciousness of the Earth’s Soul (collective memory as a field of information) of Astral (star) Light. What we refer to as the “mind” is synonymous with the soul, and acts to form a whole reality that functions as a “whole idea” with different aspects that all play a specialized part in acting out the same experience. What we experience as our “outer reality” is a hologram formed internally at the unconscious (collective) level that’s projected outward as a lens we look through that sorts and organizes all the information available in the astral field to form a reality that’s somewhat unique to us. While submerged in the collective unconscious we perceive the outer reality as being separate and independent of us, when the fact is it’s being created by us at the unconscious level. Material reality (made up of a matrix of organized light) is contained fully within the subconscious as the group mind.

Higher Consciousness

All of reality exists as the dynamic interweaving of multiple planes that work together to form a unified experience of reality. The higher plane of consciousness that oversees this one consists of abstract, non-personal, universal thought that’s mathematical in nature and perceives reality as the work of laws and principles that are serving to orchestrate all the activities of the lower plane through a form of synchronicity as a holo-movement. What we refer to as the “Higher Self”, which is the aspect of our lower self that never fully descends into the lower plane of an animal body not only remains fully conscious while utilizing its creative abilities, but also serves as a kind of choreographer for the entire lower plane which it views in its entirety from above.

Our personality is formed out of the accumulation and integration of experience acquired through a subconscious existence on the lower plane of illusion. While many think that our self-awareness while in a body is “who we are” as a higher, cosmic soul, this “image” we form of ourselves is produced by a form of soul-amnesia as mistaken identity, commonly referred to as our ego. Just as our self-conscious and subconscious are “extensions” of each other, they’re both an extension of our Higher Self and Mind. The self-conscious mind is formed as the culmination of mental activities originating in cosmic memory. Just as we draw on an intelligent field of information within the material plane using our mind and intuition as a similar function of “animal instinct”, where our perceptions and behaviors are driven by impulses and emotions that cause us to act without a thought-process or decision, we can also use our subconscious to draw on a higher plane of archetypal ideas that allow us to create outside of the group mind in an original and individual manner.

As we change our perception from a personal perspective to a more universal one, our personal consciousness (ego) is obliterated through a higher realization. When we begin realizing that our entire reality is being created by our subconscious mind as a means of creating experiences of ourselves that can be utilized to facilitate our own conscious evolution, we begin seeing all of reality as a reflection of inner aspects of our own psyche that normally remain hidden and unknown to us. Transformation takes place in the phase of conscious awareness when the “pairs of opposites” that create the illusion of separation are blended harmoniously and thereby “neutralized” as a single awareness that’s comprised of all elements of both the inner and outer perception of reality. This principle is demonstrated by the fact that all complementary colors when mixed together are neutralized as grey.

The Trinity and the Law of the Triad

There are several models that are used to illustrate the law operating in the Triad, most of which are either represented by a man (husband), woman (wife), and child (combination), a person with three heads or faces, and a guardian angel (divine being) governing and watching over a couple as a man and woman who are lovers. The man represents the self-conscious aspect of outer-awareness, the woman the subconscious aspect of both the inner and outer, and the child as the regenerated personality as a combination of both that produces a unique and different being all together. The Higher-Self is the Divine Breath or cosmic fire that orchestrates and creates on the lower plane by “seeding” and impregnating the subconscious (of both the individual and group mind) with an idea as a metaphor that’s self-perpetuating.

What’s referred to as the 4 Elements of Esoteric Sciences represent “modes of consciousness” that all work together to produce the Astral Body as the spatial blueprint (hologram) of material reality. The action of heat on water causes the water to evaporate and become air, the moist substance of breath. As water rises and becomes invisible it accumulates on a higher plane where it becomes the “forms” impressed on the Astral Plane of Light as memory. Breath is specialized in sound as an inner voice that becomes the basis for outer speech, both of which issue forth from thought as an idea. Sound, like light, is 7-fold in nature as 7 tones that naturally vibrate the 7 colors of the rainbow, which “reveals” the hidden nature of light that normally remains invisible to us (to our physical senses). Sound as an instrument of creation (vibration) is commonly represented by an angel blowing a trumpet, which is an instrument that uses sound vibration to both “shatter” (destroy) and “levitate” (transcend).

Sound as an inner voice is how our Higher Self communicates with us and is translated into sensory form as thought, which is turned into pictures within our imagination and lays the foundation for all of our actions.  As we “conceive” the message as an “idea in seed form” (archetype) from our Higher Self, which often comes as a form of inspiration or through dreams, it provides us with a new pattern as a pathway that ultimately liberates us from the illusion of separation. Not separation from others within our reality, but from the higher aspect of our mind that’s acting to produce the entire reality in which we’re submerged as an unconscious aspect of our own creation.

The 7 tones that comprise the musical scale are harmoniously organized into a composition that produces a corresponding effect in the 7 stars (chakras) of our etheric body by re-calibrating their vibration through sympathetic resonance. Sound “organizes light into patterns” as internal images that invoke an equivalent emotional response. Emotions are the motivating force of the subconscious and form the universal pattern into a unique variation by how it’s adapted to the current situation and conditions. It introduces a “new pattern” that serves to calibrate our entire system to produce the reality of the pattern. It forms first internally as a metaphorical image in the imagination, which provides the subconscious of not only the individual but also the group mind in which the individual is a part with a directive for creating externally as a correspondence where it can be “witnessed” by the self-conscious as an “experience” of itself.  

Material reality is symbolized by a square which has 4 lines composed of “right angles” to each other. When turned at a 90 degree angle, it forms a diamond shape, which represents the Tetrad (4) that is birthed as a reflection of the Triad (3) through the Vesica Pisces (Dyad), which is also called the “womb of the universe”.  The Triad represents the 3-fold nature of the mind, and the Tetrad represents material reality which comes as a direct reflection or projection of the mind. When the Dyad is orientated vertically from upper to lower instead of side-by-side in a horizontal movement, it represents the mind being given an idea as an imagined thought from the higher plane that serves to produce a correlating reality through a process of adaptation that modifies it into a unique variation. An equal armed cross is formed by 2 lines that intersect to form 2 pairs of right angles. A square can be divided into 9 equal squares (3 aspects of a 3-fold nature) that form a cross. 9 = completion, and 5 = adaptation > a 3-D reality produced by complete adaptation of an idea (archetype) from the higher plane of the 4th dimension.

4th Dimension of the Astral Plane

On the Astral Plane of the 4th dimension, all things are the reverse or polar opposite of physical conditions. On this plane the self-conscious is made passive, and the subconscious is free to receive the influences of the Higher Self. The Higher Self can’t communicate directly with the self-conscious mind of the material plane because it’s “active” and can’t act as a receiver. It’s only by reversing polarity and making the self-conscious “thinking” mind silent, and therefore passive, that we can receive thoughts from the active aspect of our Higher Self on the higher plane of the super-conscious.

This process of reversed polarity of the two material minds allows the subconscious to be impregnated with a “new idea” as a projection of our higher consciousness. All ideas from the 4th dimension exist in their “potential state” and are self-perpetuating. They work to form the reality that’s ideal for evolving the personality of the body in the most beneficial way possible. A new idea being birthed as a reality is represented by the “child” as the offspring produced by a new combination of qualities and complementary patterns. When we allow ourselves to be guided by our higher consciousness which is universal in nature and acts to create our entire reality, we evolve ourselves to a higher state of true self-awareness as a higher, divine being. This is illustrated in scripture through the saying “and a child shall lead them” (a new pattern that’s self-perpetuating) . . . it’s the regenerated personality that’s formed out of an injection of universal consciousness that comes from a higher plane that’s overseeing the entire lower plane.

Perpetual Intelligence of our Higher Self

Our Higher Self plants an archetypal idea as a metaphorical theme in our mind that’s self-assembling. Any idea translated into a sensory reality in the imagination vibrates at the frequency of the idea as a metaphorical pattern. A vibratory pattern, like all living systems, is 3-fold in nature, and not only has the pattern as a metaphorical template inherent in it, but also a self-assembling mechanism that organizes light into the “reality” of the idea. It undergoes a process of adaptation that specializes it into a unique variation by growing it “in” our personality in its current state and level of development. It introduces an idea as a new pattern for creating new experiences of ourselves that serve to evolve us to a higher level of self-awareness as self-expression. 

A universal archetype as a metaphorical idea forms into a unique pattern through a growth and development process, much like a seed that’s planted in fertile soil grows by being nourished by the warmth and energy of the sun (symbol of our Higher Self). It works through resonance as sympathetic induction to organize the reality of the idea as a specialized variation that brings a new kind of experience that provides us with a new awareness of ourselves. We “create ourselves” by creating the reality we use as the means of experiencing ourselves.  As we receive instruction from our Higher Self as a unique pattern for creating as a reality, it grows us through the experiences it produces and the realizations that come as a natural outgrowth. We only “grow” through the incorporation of new ideas that become a part of our reality and form how we experience our self in relationship with that reality. They cause us to stretch and move beyond the normal limits set in place by our formative conditioning.

The Self-Perpetuating action of the Mind

There’s two basic ways we act to “draw in ideas” with our material mind. Our material mind consists of the two lower aspects of our bodily consciousness in which the self-conscious is an outgrowth or offspring of our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is the feminine aspect that’s passive, receptive, and acts to create our entire material reality, first by gestating an idea in the womb of the imagination as a holographic form that’s magnetized with sensation causing it to vibrate at the frequency of the archetypal form. Then, once it’s formed into a detailed internal reality through a process of adaptation, it begins vibrating at the complementary frequency necessary for assembling the elements of the outer reality of the group mind into the same thematic idea (holographic principle of creation) on a larger scale. Our thoughts are perceived as transparent scenarios projected onto an invisible screen or lens that we then “look through” as the means of seeing the same idea all around us as a coherent reality. The mind creates through fractal patterns that manifest on different scales and levels simultaneously.

We’re always either drawing ideas as information out of the atmosphere around us (horizontal plane) formed by the group mind of “created ideas”, or we absorb them from the higher plane of archetypal ideas and use them as the means of creating in a unique and innovative manner. We either run the same thoughts through our mind in a redundant and habitual manner, usually acquired through our conditioning and what we’ve been taught as the ideas of others, or we tune into the plane of our Higher Self, silence our habitual rambling mind, become fully present in direct experience, and allow thoughts to be spontaneously interjected into our mind from a neutral and universal perspective that are non-personal in nature. This means they aren’t generated by our habitual mind as a means of replaying memories of the past in order to use those ideas to create in the present.

We have to silence our conditioned mind and become a vessel for our higher mind to inhabit and create through. As we begin experiencing ourselves through the intelligence and awareness of our higher mind, we begin experiencing ourselves in new ways. As we create new experiences we identify with those experiences, and evolve ourselves accordingly. We only retain subconsciously what we become a part of as an experience that unites the inner with the outer, and ultimately the upper with the lower. Once we step into the reality of ourselves as our divine nature we become multidimensional beings that exist fully within a higher level of consciousness. We no longer perceive separation and realize through direct experience that there’s really only one of us. This experience of ourselves is expressed in the Hermetic axiom, “as above so below, and as within so without, in the wondrous workings of the One Thing.” And what Jesus was referring to when he said “when the outer becomes the same as the inner, and the inner becomes the same as the outer, you’ll have entered the kingdom of heaven”.

Defining Reality – Objective, Subjective, and the Nature of Illusion

There tends to be a constant form of confusion around the idea of what we call “reality” in the objective sense, and the nature of subjective reality as a personal experience. Whenever the term “illusion” or “delusion” is used, it’s referring to the subjective reality that we all create out of or in place of the objective, neutral and meaningless reality we all share in common. So let’s break these interrelated ideas down by describing and explaining them separately . . . .

Objective Reality

What we refer to as objective reality is the one that we all share in common and exists in a neutral state that’s void of meaning. This is what we can think of as the “unified field of information” that contains all attributes, qualities, archetypes, images, life-forms, and so on, that lays the foundation necessary for creating individual realities that are cohesive and correlated to the overall shared reality. This is the field of possibility that exists before anything is filtered out, abstracted and reformulated by the individual mind. In an outdoor setting we all see and hear the same trees, sky, bushes, flowers, sidewalk, cars, buildings, etc. In an indoor setting we all see the same furnishings, artwork, plants, people, and so on, as the basic elements that make up that environment.

When we share an environment or event, we’re all submerged in and a part of the same group information that’s available to everyone involved as a means of forming our perception and experience of the situation. This can be thought of as the universal, archetypal reality of the collective unconscious or mass consciousness of humanity (and Nature) as the group mind of the earth plane. This is a global reality that’s comprised of common elements.

Subjective Reality

What we refer to as subjective reality is the one that’s naturally created by the individual mind as their perception and how they form their own individual “experience” of the objective reality through an internal process. Our experience of the external world is formed by our mental paradigm as the informational structure of our mind formed out of accumulated memory. Our mental paradigm basically consists of our habitual mood, values, beliefs, preferences, and memories. As we form a “value” of some kind, a mental filter is created and set in place that acts to filter all the information that’s available in any given situation, abstracting and causing to stand out whatever pertains to our value in some way – whether for or against it.

Likewise, as we form a belief about something it sets up a series of mental filters that bring forward in our outer reality only what matches and can be used in a cohesive manner to create the reality of our belief. All other information that doesn’t pertain to our belief recedes and fades into the background where it goes largely unnoticed. We don’t use it in order to create our experience. By way of this natural process of filtering and only using certain parts of the information available in the whole, we act to naturally perceive our beliefs as an actual reality, making them seem real and because of this we don’t realize their beliefs. Preferences as likes and dislikes do the same thing. Filters are created based on preferences that produce a feeling of harmony or discord and become attributes that aid in shaping our experiences.

Our memories serve as a kind of metaphorical filter that we look through that brings to the foreground in an enhanced manner whatever can be used in a situation to create the same type of experience as the memory. Our memories set the basis for all of our intentions and expectations in a situation. Whatever expectation we hold as a preconceived notion forms a predisposition and acts to only select and utilize the information that’s necessary to create what we expected.

Our mind acts as an information processing mechanism that’s always sorting out information and reorganizing it into unique configurations as a means of creating our experiences of any given set of circumstances. Our mental model exists as a kind of “theme” (frequency) that consistently produces the same type of reality that’s unique to us as our own creation. Every personal experience is the expression of one possibility out of an infinite number of possibilities. And every person will form a unique version of reality out of the same overall reality as their perception of it.

Perception, Meaning, and the Nature of Experience

Our perception in any situation is formed by the perceptual filters set into place as the means of sorting through billions of bits of information to abstract only a handful and reconfigure it into a new idea as an “interpretation” of the data selected. The data obtained in any situation is abstract and void of meaning until it’s interpreted. Out of a small amount of selected information we form our interpretation as a means of creating our experience by the “meaning” we give it by how we reform it internally as a congruent part of an ongoing story.

The meaning we give things forms our internal dialogue as a kind of story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about things. We take the information naturally selected as a match to our values, preferences, and beliefs and further modify them by how we adapt them to the ongoing story we’re always in the process of telling as a means of explaining and describing things. This ongoing story that we’re always in the process of telling is what gives things the meaning they have for us and ultimately becomes a kind of “life theme” that produces a consistent version of reality. Through a simple process of self-observation you’ll notice that there’s always one part of you talking to another part of you.

The very act of observing and perceiving something reorganizes the different aspects of it, enhancing and strengthening some, while downplaying and ignoring others, reshaping it into a new variable as a means of experiencing it. Any belief that we form becomes a filter that not only determines what we see or don’t see in a situation, but also determines how we interpret it to give it the meaning that it has. Things only mean what we say they mean. This forms another fundamental misconception. All meaning is subjective in nature and varies with every single person. We create our experience of any situation or event based on the meaning we give it and what we “tell ourselves” about it as a result.

What something means to us is based on our values and what’s important or not important to us, what we believe to be true and thereby use as a means of evaluating it for accuracy, and the memories we associate with it as a means of interpreting it. Our memories not only act to shape our values and what we come to believe or disbelieve, but are in return shaped out of our values and beliefs, which all act together in a cohesive manner to spawn each other while also serving to support, validate, and justify each other in forming a coherent version of reality that’s consistent and always makes sense to us.

Our values, beliefs, preferences, and memories work together to produce a coherent model as a dynamic series of mental filters that function to only perceive the information in the whole that can be used to construct the reality of our mental paradigm. Each person acts to develop their own mental model which is used to produce a subjective variation of an objective neutral reality as the means of creating. Our experience of reality is something we’re (our mind) always creating. While others may act to give us the subliminal suggestions that become our subconscious programming, we are always the one accepting and integrating it into our mental paradigm and then utilizing it as a means of creating ourselves.

For example, a person who forms a belief that they’re “not wanted” will interpret any situation or actions of another to mean that. They’ll only see in any situation what they can use as the means of creating an experience of not being wanted, and are constantly acting to validate their own beliefs. Even when someone does want them and demonstrates that through their actions and how they treat them, they’ll still interpret it in whatever way they need to as a means of creating the experience of not being wanted. This tendency and natural ability to skew reality to make it mean whatever we decide to, is what’s commonly referred to as an “illusion”.

Illusions that become Delusions

When we form convincing realities out of our beliefs (which is a natural function of the mind), it forms an illusion that we use as the means of deceiving and deluding ourselves. This means it’s only real to us and nobody else sees it or experiences it in the same way that we do. The same situation will cause one person to feel not wanted, while another may feel they’re being coerced or manipulated, while still another may find it friendly and inviting. Each person will interpret the same behaviors and activities to mean different things and create entirely different types of experiences based on their subconscious programming. Every person that’s a part of the same situation is experiencing it in a different way based on how it’s filtered through their mental paradigm.

 We don’t ever change the objective outer reality directly in terms of what everyone else is also seeing, but rather how it “appears” to us. All things take on the appearance they do as a reflection of the mind viewing them and acting to shape them as a mental projection. The same objective reality appears different to each individual observing and producing an experience of it. As we turn an objective reality into a personal version as our experience, we become subject to our own creation. As we create our own experience of reality, we sense ourselves “as” and “through” our experience, and we shape our perception of our “self” to be the same.

We “become” whatever we believe about ourselves as an experience, and by what we tell ourselves about things that make them mean what they do. As we assign meaning to things we form our story about our self out of them by experiencing our self “through them”. As we form realities out of our beliefs, they become delusions that we willfully maintain even when situations serve to contradict or disprove them. Most people will argue to defend their beliefs about things rather than change them. They fall in love with their own opinions while mistaking them for being true. As we tell our story about things we build our identity around them and use them as a means of explaining what happened to us that made us the way we are, and rather than changing our inner world we expect the outer world to somehow magically change instead. This is because we don’t realize that the outer world is being created by our inner world as a correspondence.

Delusion and how we Deceive Ourselves

Our core beliefs are formed by us as children based on how we interpreted intense emotional events before we developed our ability to reason and logically analyze them in an objective manner. As children, we’re in a purely unconscious and subjective state where everything is about us. The primary beliefs we formed out of emotional states became the premise and mental filters out of which we formed all of our other beliefs. The story we began telling ourselves as a child in order to try and make sense of emotionally charged experiences, formed the basis for our mental model out of which we processed all information as a means of creating our perception of reality. It became our subconscious programming that formed the basis for all of our experiences. Whatever we program our subconscious with as an “imaginary emotionally intense idea” becomes the basis for reality as an experience. Because we can experience the reality of our beliefs we don’t realize that they’re only true due to our ability to create them through our perception of them.

We don’t form individual beliefs about things, but rather form a system of beliefs that are compatible and serve to support, justify, validate, and prove each other. This is why experiences that contradict a single belief or perspective is usually ignored, argued against, or discredited using other beliefs, and the belief maintained instead, and sometimes even strengthened as a result. To change a belief requires changing the core belief spawning it, which comes only through a shift in awareness that alters and modifies our paradigm.

All beliefs are formed out of our mental model and can only be changed by incorporating new information that modifies the whole structure. This only comes through direct experience that’s contemplated as a consideration that’s allowed to take hold in the imagination where it’s formed into a possible, and therefore “believable” reality as an internal experience. We can only comprehend what we can form as an internal representation, and we can only do what we can first imagine ourselves doing.

This natural process of the individual mind in creating reality by imagining it is what’s referred to as replacing objective reality with illusions that become a form of delusion. When we don’t realize how our own mind works to create our reality, and we’re always operating out of an unconscious state, our tendency towards self-deception is enormous and often very compelling. This results from the fact that we don’t understand how our own mind works and haven’t developed the skill in knowing how to operate it consciously. Because the most powerful aspect of our mind operates without our direct awareness we don’t realize its power to create. Through a lack of true self-awareness we become subject to our own creations instead of mastering our ability to create. Anytime we live out of the story of our formative conditioning as the basis for our perceptions and means of interpreting the events of our life, we live a life of delusion and unknowingly act on ourselves to deceive ourselves.

Summary:

What we’ve come to call “reality” is a very elusive idea that’s constantly being reshaped to take on a new and unique appearance based on the mind interacting with it. Each individual cultivates their own mental model which acts as a filtering system for abstracting certain information in any situation and reorganizing it by how they interpret it to give it meaning. The meaning we give things shapes how we form our experience of it. Our experience comes as our feelings and internal dialogue as what we tell ourselves about it while reforming it in our mind as a internal representation. Meaning, like the mind creating it, is threefold in nature. Whatever we make something mean through our story about it means the same thing about us, other people, and the world in general. Whatever beliefs we form about ourselves, we also use as the means of shaping others and the events of the world to be of the same nature and idea. Every aspect of our reality supports every other aspect, and serves to prove and justify it as being real and therefore true.

We create a subjective experience of reality from a completely unconscious state, and as a result, don’t realize what we’re doing. We don’t realize our mind’s own power to create, and so we imagine we have no control over it. We can live our whole life feeling as though everything is happening “to us” and beyond our ability to change it. Because we’re programmed subconsciously at an early age, we consistently grow up in the reality being produce by our programming, and don’t realize we’re the one actually creating it. Once we begin realizing how our own mind works to form beliefs around whatever we’ve been taught, we can become self-aware and recognize how it is we’re doing it. Once we begin realizing and forming a practical understanding of how our mind works to create our experiences of reality, we can begin operating it in an intentional and deliberate manner by learning how to program ourselves to produce the type of experiences we want.

Gaining a Practical Understanding of the Principles involved for our Soul to Transcend the Material Plane

       This idea can be difficult to fully grasp in practical terms because it’s very esoteric in the sense that it requires a true shift in awareness in order to be able to employ intentionally.It requires an in-depth understanding of the Universal Laws involved along with a realization of the “true nature” of the very “reality” we’re looking to transcend.It’s not about looking around at all the ideas that are out there regarding the idea of ascending, but rather gaining a comprehensive understanding of the laws involved to the point where you can come up with your own ideas and processes for intelligently developing your consciousness in an individual manner. All growth and development only comes by way of intentional action, disciplined effort, and constant striving. There’s no such thing as an “easy path” to higher domains, and all true creation requires deliberate use of choice and will in creating ourselves as an “individual” rather than buying into the “group mind” of always looking for someone else’s ideas that we can accept and use as our own.

       The most fundamental difference of what we think of as “higher and lower consciousness” comes through the realization of what it actually means to either be a product of what you’ve been taught by others and therefore not consciously utilizing your ability to reason and make your own decisions as the means for forming your actions, which is what serves to “demonstrate” your “actual” level of consciousness. In the lower plane of an“animal existence”, which is primarily unconscious in nature, we buy into the group mind of consensus and regulations, where opinion is mistaken for fact,and we lack autonomy and a sovereign will. All the knowledge and instructions necessary for creating comes as a thorough understanding of laws and the practice necessary for applying them in your daily life as the means of “creating yourself”.

       We only ascend or descend and “move between planes of existence” through Universal Laws as the consciousness we employ and develop within a given plane. There are many planes that are dynamically interlaced and work together to form what we perceive as a “single plane” that has higher and lower regions as levels of consciousness that naturally exists as an inherent part of that plane. Many people fail to comprehend that what we call the material plane is produced and maintained “by” our consciousness which is an aspect of the Universal Consciousness and does not exist independent of us.

The Singularity

        The entire material plane that we appear to be sharing in common with others is produced as a projection of our own individual mind that’s a part of a larger group mind, and every element of our reality is the embodiment and expression of an “aspect” of ourselves. This idea follows the same principle as our “nightly dreams” which are produced solely by our “unconscious mind” as fully embellished sensory realities. Our nightly dreams are composed of many different people as “characters” that are all playing a role in creating a coherent idea as a reality and experience of the idea. Just as we can interpret the meaning of our dreams by embodying and becoming each person or object within the dream being used to illustrate it, we can also see each person or thing in our waking reality the same way, because they’re all aspects of ourselves necessary to play out a greater story as the means of producing an experience of hidden or unconscious aspects of ourselves.

       What we perceive as the “outer reality”is produced by our mind in the same way the reality of our night dreams are. Both the inner and outer reality exist as what we can call “dream states” that express and reveal to us the “full content” of our mind and soul as both conscious(aware) and unconscious (unaware) aspects. All dreams and visions as a certain “type of reality” are formed out of different mental states. All of what we perceive as being “out there”, disguised as someone or something else (separate from us), is a symbolic or metaphorical representation of unknown or hidden aspects of ourselves that are necessary in order to act out an idea, providing us with the means for gaining self-awareness from it. Just as we contrast and conflict with other people, we have internal aspects of ourselves that also act to oppose each other causing internal conflict and struggle as a form of ongoing argument and debate with “ourselves”.

       What we call “aspects” of ourselves (notice this is always plural)exist as attributes and qualities that form unique characteristics as a form of personality, or what we can think of as a sub-personality. Each sub-personality as aspects of our Self has its own unique perspective, motives, and purposes that are projected outward (meaning we perceive through them), forming our perception of others as being of the “same nature” as we are. We form outer experiences of the same type of things that exist within us. The same conflicts we experience internally are acted out by others externally. What we perceive as the inner and outer are both a part of the same space-time continuum as different mental states that make up what we call a “plane of existence” that’s cohesive and consistent in nature.

        We have two primary aspects of our mind that makeup what we call the “material mind”, one of which is unconscious and experienced as our inner or body-oriented mind, and the other one is self-conscious and experienced as our outer awareness. These two aspects of the same mind exist in polarity to each other, and when one is active the other one is passive in terms of “awareness”. We remain largely unaware of our night dreams because they’re created by our unconscious mind while our self-aware mind is sleeping. Once we wake-up and our self-conscious mind becomes active and dominant, we enter into a different type of dream state that’s based on an outer dream. Yet both the inner and outer reality is produced by the same mind while in different states(Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta, and Gamma), also referred to as brain-waves. As we move from one state to another, we shift dimensions (from inner to outer) and forget the reality of the previous state. This is why we forget our night dreams and visions we have while meditating as soon as we come into an alert Beta state.

       All debates over controversial ideas that we enter into with others, are really the outward extension and enactment of an equivalent inner debate we’re having with ourselves, as a conflict between “known and unknown” parts of ourselves. This is what creates the false illusion of duality as the inner reality being separate from the outer reality,both of which are produced by the “same mind”. This idea is expressed through sayings like “judge not lest ye be judged”, and “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, and the idea that whatever we put out we get back, and that all outer perception is a fundamental form of self-perception. These ideas offer us insight into the true nature of reality that if we contemplate with an empty and silent mind, putting all beliefs and existing ideas aside, reveals the laws that make-up the true nature of reality.

       As long as we form a belief around the general idea being played out as mass reality that appears to be separate from us, we unconsciously participate in co-creating it as what seems like a joint-experience. Once created as what seems like an outer reality, we then fully cooperate in maintaining it out of an unconscious state. We then use the projections of our own mind as a detached reality as the means of creating ourselves out of it. Whatever plane we’re a cohesive part of in terms of self-awareness, acts to “bond us” energetically to that plane of existence. In the lower plane of material reality we act on ourselves to create ourselves out of a primarily unconscious state, and become identified with an illusion of our own making. In order to ascend this plane,so to speak, we have to bring what’s operating in our life at an unconscious level into conscious awareness where we become “fully conscious” as our normal state.

        Our material reality and everything in it is not the end goal or objective of the soul (who’s creating it as an illusion of itself) and only provides the means as a kind of “stage” for the Soul to play out the reality naturally produced by its mind as the means of expressing in order to gain self-realization, and use that knowledge as the basis for fashioning itself to “be” of a certain nature.There’s no such thing as believing one thing and doing another, no matter how we justify it to ourselves. All of our actions are the demonstration of our true level of consciousness, and serve to define us in the most practical sense.The idea that we can somehow “love another” without first “loving ourselves” is absurd in the most basic sense of the idea, because ultimately they’re both the same thing. If we love another it means we love that same aspect as qualities and “type of person” in ourselves. What we perceive as another, like the characters in our nightly dreams, are merely aspects of ourselves playing apart in a much larger drama.

Self-Reflection as the means of Self-Realization

       What we experience as the outer reality is created at the fundamental level by both conscious and unconscious aspects of ourselves. Whatever seems normal and doesn’t cause a “reaction in us” as a form of judgment of some kind, are the aspects that we’re aware of and fully accept and embrace as being a part of us. In a like manner, whatever we don’t recognize as being “us”, causes an emotional reaction as a form of judgment. Because we’re unaware of it, we don’t realize we’re the one creating it, and we imagine that it’s someone or something that taking place outside of us and has nothing to do with us. We then create the “illusion” of entering into relationship with unknown aspects of ourselves in order to act out dramas together that form a continuation of internal dramas of the same nature and kind.

       This is what’s meant by the idea that you’re already “whole” and don’t need someone or something that exists outside of you in order to “complete you”. What we look for in another already exists within us, we just don’t realize it because we haven’t become aware of that part of ourselves, and instead perceive it as being missing. This idea is illustrated in the most primary law represented by the Monad where the self and the outer world as a “sphere of consciousness” are an expansion and extension of the same mind and idea; and in the Law of the Dyad or Vesica Pisces (called the womb of reality), which is produced as the regeneration and projection of the Monad to create the “illusion” of the Self as another. These two primary laws reveal the true nature of reality where the outer world is created as corresponding reflection and projection of the inner world. Where we’re always entering into relationship with ourselves (same consciousness) in everything around us, and creating a joint reality as an “experience of our self in another”. The illusion of separation from our self is necessary in order to create an experience our self.

The Illusion of Duality and the Birth of the Ego and Shadow

       The Soul creates the outer, material world by dividing itself into both conscious (masculine) and unconscious (feminine)aspects or parts. This occurs naturally in childhood when we’re taught to judge ourselves in the same way we were judged by others. As we judge ourselves to be good or bad, a division takes place where we reject, repress all the parts of our nature that we deem bad or wrong. As we judge and reject parts of ourselves, we deny having them (even to ourselves) and refuse to express them,and suppress them instead, eventually losing memory of them because we don’t create memories where we’re being that way. As we condemn and deny some parts,we simultaneously compare and contrast them with what we’ve also judged as being good aspects of an opposing nature, that are the opposite of the bad ones, and we accept and embrace them by expressing them, and as a result, build an “image of ourselves” out of only acceptable parts.

       Through the process of self-judgment we form two aspects of our nature that exist in direct opposition to each other.We birth what we call our “shadow and ego” through opposing ends of the same act. Our shadow we deny having and ultimately forget about, and our ego is formed out of only the good and desirable parts of us that we openly and freely express outwardly to create our experiences of ourselves as being good, right,desired, loved, admired, and so on. Yet all of the denied and forgotten aspects still exist and are alive within us in an active and creative state, and form an inherent part of our outer environment and our perception of others and the world in general. Because we forgot we had them, we don’t recognize them as being a part of us (our mind), and we judge others who are outwardly expressing those traits in the same way we judged ourselves, and we make them out to be “bad people” in some way.

       As we create a “false image” of ourselves that’s only fashioned out of acceptable parts, we stay locked into an illusion of our own making. While we say that the ego is created by building an image of ourselves out of only material ideas, we can state it more accurately by saying that we create an idea of ourselves out of only part of our nature,and exist in a fragmented (separated) state as a result. We act to maintain only a partial awareness of our true nature, and build our identity out of an illusion we’ve created of ourselves instead. Our material reality, in the ultimate sense, is an illusion created by our “whole mind” of both conscious and unconscious material, and provides us with the means for recognizing unconscious aspects of ourselves being projected onto others. Once we realize this we can become aware that the outer world and others are merely reflecting back to us unknown aspects of our self, and anytime we’re judging and reacting to someone or something, we can turn inward and self-reflect instead, and gain new forms of self-awareness.

       Because the shadow and ego oppose each other, meaning one can’t exist without the other, by becoming aware of our shadow nature, and integrating it into “acceptable aspects of ourselves” we act to simultaneously undermine and transform our ego through the conscious incorporation of rejected parts. This results in what we experience as a form of “death” (of our false image), and therefore causes the ego to retaliate and defend itself by working consciously to maintain the shadow, and thereby sustaining the illusion its created of itself as being a certain type of person.

        This is why all “true healing” is centered on dissolving judgment and forgiving others who we’ve imagined were hurting or harming us in some way. This is the basis for the true reality of the fact that all judgment of others is really a judgment we hold against ourselves. That what we perceive as being “done to us by another” is actually something we’re doing to ourselves and comes by way of projecting unconscious aspects of ourselves onto others. We judge others in the same way we judge ourselves, and once we understand this, we can see it for the psychological tool it offers as the means for recognizing aspects of ourselves that remain hidden from us.

       By recognizing the laws involved for producing reality, we can realize that anytime we’re having an adverse reaction as a strong judgment against another that it’s really providing us with a mirror into our own unconscious content.With deep self-reflection we can gain awareness and insight around how we “acted on ourselves” to fragment and divide ourselves in order to produce an illusion based on partial aspects that serve to create a “false illusion” as our perception of ourselves. Because what we call higher planes are “whole and unified in nature”, we can only ascend into them once freed from the body of illusion, by acting on ourselves to heal and return ourselves to a “whole state of Being”that no longer creates itself out of an illusion. Even though we deny parts of ourselves and lack awareness of them, they’re still an inherent and active part of our nature and continue creating our reality. In order to partake in the reality of higher planes we have to fully utilize our ability to create ourselves and our life from a fully conscious state.

Personal Transformation and a Return to Wholeness

       For this reason, the whole basis of ascension to higher, unified realms of existence is based on the practice of Alchemy as Personal Transformation from a partial state to a whole state. This is the Law as realization that we possess the higher powers of self-awareness that enables us to “act on ourselves to transform ourselves” back into a whole,and therefore “pure” state. The most natural way we heal, restore balance, and transform is by bringing what’s creating our reality in an unconscious manner into conscious awareness, where by owning and embracing it, we integrate it back into our Self and our identity. Once we realize the judgments we’ve placed on ourselves that kept us unconscious and living in the shadow of our own life,and integrate them to form a new whole, we’re capable of ascending to a higher state where wholeness and unity is the very foundation out of which “reality”is created as a natural expression and projection of a fully conscious and self-aware state.

       Once we heal all the fragmented and broken parts of our Self, bringing them back into a whole and harmonious state,and no longer pass judgment on our Self in others, our experience of outer reality changes accordingly. We can only ascend to a unified state by creating it while in the lower material plane of duality. As long as we continue to perceive ourselves out of a partial awareness of our own nature, we will remain in this plane, which is providing us with the means to recognize our true nature and fully embrace it in a congruent way. The material world simply provides us with the means of creating as a form of self-expression that shows us the content of our whole mind, giving us the tools as Laws for perfecting ourselves by healing unconscious aspects of our own inner nature that’s acting to produce our perception of what appears to be an “outer world” that’s separate from our own mind.

Waking up and becoming Self-Aware within the Dream

       The idea of “waking up” in your own life is the full realization that you’re actually the one creating it. All of it. In the ultimate sense there is no duality and nothing exists apart from our perception of it. Things are only the way they are because we make them out to be that way by how we create our experiences of them. Things only mean what we make them mean. As we perceive and judge another, we’re perceiving and judging ourselves “in and through them”. What we imagine to be outside of us is the expression and projection of what’s inside of us. Whatever we’re doing to another, we’re actually doing to ourselves. We’re always on both the giving and receiving end of the same judgments and illusions. This forms the basis for the eternal and Absolute Law of Karma. We always suffer the consequences of our own actions, because in fact, there’s only one of us.

       We’re given the Laws that reveal the true nature of reality as a product of our mind in what’s represented as Sacred Geometry as the Tetrad, and in Spiritual (Esoteric) Sciences as the Tetragrammaton as the “four letter name of God” as IHVH (or YHVH). The Tetrad is formed out of the Monad as the Self and outer reality of the Mind, that “regenerates itself” by separating and projecting itself to create the illusion of another (Dyad), then enters into relationship with itself as another, forming an inner reality in the imagination (Triad) that’s then reflected downward and outward,forming the basis for the outer material world, represented by the Tetrad. What we perceive as a series or group of Laws, are actually produced by the One primal Law of the Mind (mentation). Both the inner (triad) and outer (mirror image of the Triad) are produced by the same mind as its constitution,represented by a square or cube. The Mind (5th Element) acts to organize and structure the Four Elements of the material plane into a “reality”that’s actually “imaginary in nature” and can be altered or transformed by first altering and transforming the Mind that’s producing it as a perception of Itself.

       What we refer to as the Ten Primary Laws of Creation, or Seven Principles of Hermetic Sciences are the fundamental Laws of the Mind that act to produce what we experience as the “reality of the material plane”. These Laws provide us with not only a description of the true Nature of reality, but also “instructions” for how to use our own mind in order to create reality, and simultaneously create our Self by way of that reality.Laws are the creative and operative forces that govern all reality as the creative processes of the Mind and provide us with the means for self-realization and the means for acting on ourselves to transform ourselves.We know when our inner world has been transformed by how it changes our perception of the outer world and how we experience it, because they’re a direct and opposite reflection of each other. Once we truly relinquish judgment of ourselves in others, we’re able to experience compassion where we can become one with another and see life from their perspective without judging them as being good or bad, or right and wrong, and simultaneously return our Soul back to a state of wholeness and purity.

The Art of Setting Goals and Manifesting your Dreams

Setting goals and “dreaming” is one of the most primary ways we use our mind to create realities. While “task oriented goals” are relatively easy, as they only require us to direct our attention and perform remedial acts, producing entirely new experiences as realities requires more skill because it’s done by how we use different aspects of our own mind to program other aspects. Our mind has what we can think of as three primary aspects that are always performing different functions while working together in unison to produce the same reality. What we refer to as “reality” is created both internally and externally as a unified experience that’s metaphorical in nature.

We often feel confused around the idea of what we call the “same reality” being literal as an exact match, where it “shows up” just as we imagined it, when in fact it actually comes as a correspondence to our imagined idea as the same “type or kind” of reality that’s composed of different elements. The mind works out of patterns as themes that allow an idea to be applied and adapted to various situations to produce a modification of the same overall idea. So how the reality of an imagined goal formulates and shows up may be different, but it serves to create the same basic type of experience.

The key word here is the idea of a “type of experience”, rather than an exact event. We have to formulate the goal as an experience of reality, focusing primarily on the “feeling” we’re striving to get from the reality of the goal, then let go of all control as to how it formulates within our given conditions and circumstances. We create an idea as a symbolic, metaphorical idea that we use as an “organizational mechanism” (vibratory frequency) for organizing the elements available in our present environment to be of the same nature, and be organized to create the same type of experience.

Designing Mental Programs

All mental programming designed to produce an actual experience of reality, comes by way of the conscious mind programming the subconscious mind. The subconscious is different than the conscious mind in the sense that it’s always present in the moment, is experiential in nature, emotionally driven, and creates out of preexisting memory. What unifies all aspects of our mind into a cohesive singularity is “state”. Our state of mind is what also acts to adjust the chemistry of our body to “match” that state, as well as what acts to adjust and organize the events of the outer world. The “unified mind” that we all exist as a part of, commonly called the “collective unconscious” or “mass consciousness”, is the subconscious aspect of the mind that we share with all of Nature as the instinctually driven mind that governs the entire material world of both the body and its outer environment.

What we refer to as our conscious mind, which can also be thought of as our self-aware mind that forms our outer awareness, is abstract in nature, always consumed in the illusion of time and hardly ever present, and is what forms our verbal thoughts and internal dialogue that’s always talking to ourselves about things. This is the aspect of the mind that gives things meaning then tells a story about them based on the meaning. The conscious mind of outer awareness has the ability to discriminate, analyze, and evaluate situations in order to make conscious decisions. It works in-sync with the subconscious by acting as the “gatekeeper” of the subconscious and decides what to “let in” and what to “keep out”. It also has the ability to “seed” the imagination of the subconscious with an idea it wants to create as an outer reality, but they speak different languages, and so it has to form an idea and directive for the subconscious as a “direct experience” of an idea that replicates a memory, coupled with a positive state and emotion.

The Power of State

What acts as the “unifying field” or mechanism between all aspects of the mind is the “feeling state” we exist in as our perspective and basis for creating experience. This idea is probably the most confusing for people in understanding how to formulate the reality they desire to create and experience through what we imagine to be a form of prayer or be requesting and asking for it. If we exist in a state of “wanting” what we don’t have, we’re creating an “experience of not having”, and we’re actually “programming” our subconscious to create more experiences of wanting. It’s the experience we’re “in” as a state of mind forming a perception that acts as the directive for the subconscious mind.

This is due to the fact that the subconscious is feeling and experience oriented, rather than abstract and time oriented. Whatever feeling we live out of and maintain as an inner experience and emotional state “is” what we’re connecting to all around us and acting in an organized manner to create more of. The subconscious has no concept of time and simply operates to create material reality based on using memory to create more experiences that are of the same nature as the memory. The subconscious doesn’t exist in time and doesn’t have the ability to focus on “being without something” that it needs to seek and try to get outside of itself in the outer world. This means that it’s “present in the experience of not having”, and acting on our behalf to create more of the same type of experiences, because this is the actual command we’re giving it.

The outer world is always a direct correlation and reflection of the inner world, because they’re both created as an extension of each other within the same mind. We do not exist as separate from our environment, but rather as a coherent part of it. What we experience as reality is based on our own perception of it, which comes from our mental paradigm as our “model of the world”, used as a dynamic system for interpreting what we perceive to be outer events to give them meaning as the way of “experiencing” them. The experience of something comes as the feeling sensations that produce emotions and an “inner reality” that acts as a “representation” we use in place of actual events. We “reshape” the outer elements to produce the reality that matches the inner feelings and emotions, reforming them according to our model used for perceiving them.

       As we reform the elements of the outer events of life to match our ideas about them, we form them into an internal reality as a representation that becomes our “memory of them”. All memory is produced in the imagination as a personification of an outer, object reality, and then replayed in the imagination as a way of continuing to form reality as our perception, and create more realities of the same nature as our memories. This is because the subconscious, which is the “group mind” of mass consciousness, has to have a set-pattern as a kind of theme or metaphor for producing both an internal reality and corresponding external reality of the same nature. The subconscious needs a “memory of reality” in order to produce an “experience” of reality. The subconscious can’t tell the difference between an “actual memory” and an imagined one, because they’re both created the same way, in the faculty of the imagination. In order to give the subconscious a pattern and directive for creating, we have to form it into a virtual memory as an experience of it, as if it’s already real.

What makes a “real memory” different from a made-up one, is that the one created from a real life situation came as an actual experience that had a strong feeling, vivid and intense sensations, and a strong emotion as the “self-organizing mechanism” that gave it meaning and shaped it into a story of some kind. Actual events, which are subliminally shaped through natural unconscious states, contain all the key components for shaping as a “mental record”, which, when recalled and replayed, contain all the emotional sensations and instant story-line for producing an immediate experience of the same nature and kind. Our entire experience of reality is based on an incredibly diverse and dynamic matrix of interwoven and integrated memory. Our mental paradigm as a dynamic (living) holographic pattern (frequency) is a “reality generating machine”, much like a computer simulation or video game where everything is being produced in a progressive manner moment by moment through our perception of it formed out of memory.

       The “connecting factor” that forms the basis for and that generates and maintains all reality, is “feelings”. Whatever reality as an experience we produce by imagining it, acts to express a feeling, amplifying and reproducing it, and serves to give us more of that same feeling. If we form a wish or goal from a feeling of lack and scarcity, from a state of “not having it”, while we think we’re giving the subconscious a verbal command to produce or find it, the real directive being received by the subconscious is to produce more of the same feeling as an experience of the outer reality. We’re actually forming a goal around the experience of “deprivation and lack” at the subconscious level.

This is a very important factor to realize in using your own mind to create within the material world. Thought as we know it, as verbal words we speak to ourselves internally, is a product of the self-conscious mind of outer awareness. The thought and “intelligence” of higher planes of consciousness (regardless of what we call it), is what acts to organize and orchestrate the material plane of phenomena, and comes intuitively as feelings. Within feelings are whole realities as experiences that produce more of the same feelings. The governing force of the mind and the reality it creates and perceives, both internally and externally, comes as feelings that act to systematically produce matching thoughts and emotions.

Goals as Mental Programs

In order to produce a goal as a means of creating reality, rather than performing a simple task, it has to be formed into an “experience of the goal” as an actual reality. We have to form it in our imagination in full sensory terms as being “within it” having the experience of it. We have to first produce the reality internally in order to connect with, match, and perceive the same type of reality externally. All perception of the outer world is formed as the correspondence to the internal representation formed in the imagination. The same pattern as a theme or metaphor is played out on different scales and levels simultaneously. The entire material world, which is constructed of light by the mind, is produced by the Higher Mind of the Soul, of which both the subconscious and self-conscious are functional aspects within the lower plane and are what is used to produce, experience, and maintain the entire phenomenal world. In order to work within the material plane in a truly creative fashion, we have to work by way of the laws that govern the mind that’s acting to create it. Two complementary aspects brought into harmony produce a functional third.

We produce our goals as imaginary realities by developing them as actual scenarios in full sensory terms, while also creating our experience by what we’re telling ourselves about them that give them meaning and form a story-line about them. We picture it in our mind while asking ourselves . . . what am I seeing? Then imbue it with visual details that are rich in terms of colors, textures, and qualities. Then ask, what am I hearing? While filling in the experience with any sounds, activities, or other people talking. Then, what am I feeling or touching? Smelling? Tasting? While filling in details of sensations of touch, smell, and taste. What am I feeling as emotional sensation? What am I telling myself about it as internal dialogue and thoughts? And so on, until you develop a detailed sensory experience that acts to invoke a very positive emotional state.

Emotions Motivate Action and Behavior

The subconscious is emotionally driven and motivated by the two primary emotions of either pleasure or pain. It moves towards and into anything it deems pleasurable or pleasant, and away from or avoids anything it perceives as painful or unpleasant. It’s very important that the visualization of our goals as an experience act to naturally produce positive, compelling emotions in us. If feelings of fear, apprehension or discomfort arise from our goals, we have to resolve them at the same time as a means of developing our vision, or they’ll act as a natural means of self-sabotage. Because fear is such a strong and compelling emotion, it can take on a life of its own, and sends the message to the subconscious that this type of situation (our desired goal) will cause fear as a result, and the subconscious will act to avoid, resist, and counteract it as a way of preventing it from happening.

Spiritual Basis of Desire and Fear

From a purely spiritual, soul-oriented perspective, which is always based on growth by realizing and overcoming limitations, all of our true desires as the dream for our life are directly associated to our greatest fears, and require us to step into and resolve our fears in order to willfully create. This factor can be confusing for many because there’s a general misconception that’s being widely taught as the belief that “what’s meant to be” comes with ease as a harmonious and synchronistic unfolding of congruent events. While this is true at the unconscious level of karmic patterns repeating in a systematic fashion, when we assume the position of “consciously creating” in a precise and deliberate manner by breaking habitual patterns of established realities, we have to operate according to a higher set of laws that are polar and causal in nature to the laws of the lower plane, which come in an automated fashion without our mental initiation.

When we step outside of automated processes, which create out of fears as much as they do desires (whichever one is strongest), we encounter a kind of paradox that acts to keep our current life situation stable and maintains it in a consistent fashion. As we set goals to accomplish things that are outside of our normal reality, we encounter both the positive and negative aspects at play within the same reality. In order to create something new and alter the existing pattern of reality, we have to not only develop and embellish the positive aspects, but we have to also realize and dissolve the negative emotions that will serve to counteract and prevent it.

How we Sabotage Ourselves

Whenever we act against our own desires as a means of destroying opportunities, ruining key relationships, or producing destructive behavior, we have fears and beliefs operating at the subconscious level that we haven’t identified that are stronger than our desires. We are often our own worst enemy and what acts in our own life to destroy our dreams and ultimately produce our own demise. When fear is stronger than desire, it becomes the dominant state that we create our experience out of. What we fear we simultaneously think about and imagine, programming our subconscious with the reality of our fear. All behaviors come in a completely natural fashion without our direct awareness, and whenever emotions and intellect clash, emotion nearly always wins because it’s what’s driving all subconscious activity to produce us and our reality.

The Creative Power of Beliefs

Because our mind is what produces our perception of reality and all of our natural behaviors based on our perception, we act in an unconscious manner to faithfully produce the reality of our beliefs. Whenever we have a belief that contradicts or counteracts our desire for something, we use the desire to produce the reality of our belief instead, which prevents us from being able to accomplish it. Our beliefs “appear real to us” because they’re an inherent part of our perception, so we usually don’t realize that they’re actually something that we made-up, or was given (taught) by someone else that we accepted as being real and therefore true. Because we don’t truly realize the power of our own mind to create our reality (perception), we don’t realize that our beliefs aren’t “real”.

       We form limiting beliefs around our desires and dreams that require dissolution through self-awareness and realization, and the deliberate use of our ability to willfully correct our own false illusions. Usually, even when evidence is provided that contradicts and therefore proves our beliefs to be false, we’ll deny it or argue against it in favor of our beliefs. This is because our beliefs are not singular in nature but are formed out of a “belief system” as our mental paradigm that all support and validate each other through a cohesive experience of reality. As we transform what seems like a single belief, we undergo a paradigm shift that systematically transforms all beliefs that relied on it in order to be “real”.

This can and does act to turn our perception and experience of reality completely around. We all have a story built around our beliefs that shape us according to them, and when a core-belief (one formed through our formative (childhood) conditioning) is transformed, it transforms our identity by way of the reality it creates that we use to experience ourselves, that can often cause a form of identity crisis. This experience is what’s been traditionally referred to as “soul liberation”, because the beliefs used to structure our reality are a form of self-induced limitation. While limitations of various sorts are necessary to express something in a specific manner, and as the means of developing an idea by giving it detail, when they prevent us from becoming a certain “type of person”, or from producing a certain type of experience, they act to prevent self-expression as growth in the most basic sense of the idea. What kind of limitations we impose on ourselves determines what we are capable of creating using our soul, mind, and will.

Ecology Check – Creating Harmony

Another potential problem we have is that we set goals for one area of our life that conflicts with, undermines, or causes problems in another area of our life. When this happens we form inner conflict around them, associating pain and suffering with them, or the experience of having to “give up or lose” something we value in order to have or achieve them. Because the subconscious is the aspect of the (unified) mind that creates reality, it avoids and sabotages our goals, or acts to keep us in a constant state of inner conflict. Again, it’s the “state” we’re in and the “experience” that acts as the “program as a reality” for the subconscious to create more of.

For this reason, all goals should be developed in a way that’s congruent and harmonious with all other areas of our life, or if you’re acting to change behaviors, make sure you identify when and in what way the new behavior is appropriate and desired, and when it’s not. This requires moving an idea from a generalized state to a detailed and specific state by developing it in your imagination. Goals as standards exist in all areas of our life, and have to always be harmonious with each other in order to accomplish and maintain them. A financial or professional goal shouldn’t act to prevent or go against a health or relationship goal. Whenever intentional goals clash, it has a destructive nature and puts you in a constant state of inner turmoil and tearing you apart by having to let go of one area of your life in order to achieve in another area. All goals should be integrated harmoniously with all other goals and standards by adapting and modifying them accordingly, and should always produce a positive emotional state as the “imaginary experience of them”.

All Goals should be Self-Oriented

All true goals should only involve you in order to achieve and produce. They shouldn’t require the participation of anyone else specifically to achieve as a joint reality. If goals require the cooperation of others in order to create, they should be discussed, set as a joint experience, and developed as a group. Any goal as a reality that’s not already a part of your everyday life requires you to make an inward change in order to produce outwardly. It requires you to give your own subconscious mind a program as a virtual memory to create an outward reality of the same nature. All goals come as our ability to willfully create an experience of them both inwardly and outwardly as an actual scenario or event. The only people who can actively and naturally participate in a playing a part in them are those who have similar goals or who are already a natural part of the reality we’re acting on ourselves to create.

There are many articles written on the nature of goal setting, most of which are the offspring of conventional thought that’s been made popular, which state that it’s only goals that are written down and remembered that tend to come true. And while this is certainly true, it’s actually only the initial steps to actually creating the reality of your goals. As we write them down, we further develop them by making them detailed and specific, which becomes the basis for setting the intention to create them by visualizing them. All true creation that produced a brand new situation and experience began as a dream in the imagination. As souls, we are all programmed with our destiny through the dreams we naturally hold for our life that we’re born with and come natural to us. We all form ideas in our mind as kids of the type of characters that we want to be like and we develop those same characteristics in ourselves by “pretending to be like them”. We act out the same stories as an identity that has specific qualities and characteristics, and we “program ourselves” with those imagined realities as a way of “becoming”.

Setting the Criteria for Evaluating the Accomplishment of a Goal

As you visualize a goal that’s set as a “reality” (not as acquiring an object or performing a task) and begin moving into it, it can become easy to lose sight as to whether or not you’re making real progress, or at what point you have actually accomplished your goal as an outcome of reality. We have to form realization around what it is that will provide us with evidence of our goal becoming an actual reality. At what point will we realize we’ve accomplished it? What is it in our outer environment as an event or situation that will let us know? This is critical because all imagined realities that act as a template and program for creating, are symbolic and metaphorical in nature, and when they’re produced as an actual reality, may be quite a bit different than the way we imagined it. For this reason, we have to identify and become quite clear on the “feeling” the reality was designed to give us.

All experience is only designed as the means of producing a feeling in us by way of that reality. It’s the feeling that gives us a sense of ourselves inwardly that forms the basis of the memory we create of it as a result. The events themselves, or the specific set of circumstances that take place as our outer situation are irrelevant in and of themselves, but merely set the stage necessary for us to create a specific type of experience out of them. It’s the experience we create from the material reality that shapes us in terms of our identity. The outer events themselves are neutral in nature and lack meaning outside of the one we give it as a means of experiencing it. As we create our experience, we relate and associate with it, forming a “sense of ourselves” within and “as” our experience, which serves to shape us as an individual. By identifying the feeling the goal is designed to give us, we can form a clear idea as to when we have accomplished our goal as an outer experience that provides us with a certain inner feeling.

Overview:

We create our reality in an intentional manner by how we use our conscious mind to program our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is intuitive in nature, and requires an idea as a metaphorical pattern that it uses as a form of instinct to create a corresponding outer experience. Our subconscious is the material mind that we share with the entire natural world, that has no ability of its own to discriminate and evaluate, decide, or willfully (going against habitual tendencies) act out an idea that’s apart from its outer environment, and needs to be “seeded” with an idea in the form of a memory for creating as an outer reality of the same nature. It’s only by first producing the reality inwardly that we can then produce it outwardly.

All goals for new creations have to be resistant free and harmonious with our mental paradigm in order to achieve, because it’s our paradigm that produces it. We have to identify all fear and negative emotions associated with it, and any other areas of our life it will conflict or act to undermine and ruin. We have to realize any core beliefs we have that will prevent it or act to sabotage it. We have to develop it as a reality from “within the experience of it” as an already existing reality. Form it from the position and perspective of already “having it”.

The Steps for Creating a Vision of Our Goal:

  • Decide on what you “want” and set the intention for creating it.
  • Integrate it with all other life goals and standards for living as a way of developing it into a specific and detailed reality that’s congruent and coherent with your existing model.
  • Recognize any fears, negative emotions, conflicts, and limiting beliefs associated with it that arise naturally in response to the thought of it, and set a series of smaller goals as the means for transforming them.
  • Develop the goal as an actual experience of reality by giving it full sensory detail – seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting, and what you’re telling yourself about it.
  • Develop your internal dialogue as your “story about things” and yourself in a way that’s congruent and forms positive emotions and feelings about yourself.
  • Form a strong desire for it by making it very compelling and associating only positive emotions to it.
  • Once developed the way you want it, replay it over and over several times until it becomes a natural thought that can be instantly recalled just like a memory.
  • Write it down or record it, then review and visualize it every morning before you start your day, throughout the day when you’re in a relaxed state, and every evening before you fall asleep.
  • Set the intention to take some form of action towards it that day as a smaller set of goals that form an “action plan”.
  • As you go along and your actions begin producing results, evaluate those results to see if they’re in alignment with your desired outcome, and make any adjustments necessary to your action plan. Keep doing this until you produce the results you desire as a certain type of experience.
  • Form a strong realization around how you will feel when you’ve accomplished your goal and use that as the means of measuring it’s completion as an outer series of events that become a natural part of your experience and identity.

Intuition, the 3rd Eye, and the Pineal Gland – How we Receive Communication from Higher Planes of Existence

What we refer to as intuition comes to us in two basic ways and from two different planes. The most basic way comes from the material plane as a form of telepathic, horizontal transmission through the heart center that we experience as feelings and emotions that produce a realization of some kind as a form of “knowing” (that doesn’t come from cognition of some form), and as a vertical transmission of information from a higher plane through the third-eye, which is the subtle organ that corresponds to the Pineal Gland seated in the center of the brain. Transmission from a higher source comes as an inner voice (commanded by a higher authority) that’s translated into an imagined reality as a thought-form or mental impression, that’s always “original” in nature. Meaning it’s not self-generated out of an existing memory of some sort, but comes as a deeper realization into things that we didn’t know or wasn’t aware of before. Information as ideas from a higher plane comes to us from “outside of” our mental paradigm as a form of inspiration or sudden realization. Intuition of the material plane is the same universal force that drives instinct, and is what gives animals their “6th sense” (6 associated to the 6th chakra of the 3rd- eye) and is what allows them to be aware of things that are invisible to the physical senses, and can only be “sensed” as an inner feeling that stimulates emotions, which produce automatic and natural behaviors without a thought process. Whereas intuition from a higher plane comes as a form of thought and mental impression that plants an idea in the imagination where it’s transformed into a living reality and provides us with new insights and means for inventing and creating material reality in a new and original way. You can easily recognize this form of intuition because it’s not an idea that you produced out of existing memories, or as a variation of something you already knew, but rather as showing you something that you weren’t aware of or able to see from your normal perspective. It comes as ideas that exist just outside of your mental paradigm that serve to expand and increase your awareness around an idea.

       Intuition from a higher source comes as an idea that enters your mind spontaneously (while in a receptive state), usually in response to a desire, question, or intention of some kind, and like a seed that’s planted in fertile ground, it begins growing as a harmonious and synchronistic unfolding that “reveals itself” to you while you simply observe it from a passive state. It forms a natural chain-of-association that connects a series of ideas by how they relate to each other. It forms mental impressions that reveal the true significance of things at a deeper level, that even when you can’t connect them to other ideas in your life in a logical and direct manner, you know there’s a reason they’re being shown to you. As you go through your day, it keeps popping into your mind by how it relates to other ordinary ideas that you encounter throughout the day. Once it enters your mind as an imaginary experience, it doesn’t go away and only continues to grow and evolve, showing you deeper and deeper aspects of its significance, and you start noticing how it’s related or acting to guide you in other areas of your life. Sometimes it comes as distinct guidance, and at other times as simply showing you things that increase your self-awareness so you can make new decisions as a form of self-guidance. It’s always teaching you a new way perceiving that brings a whole new reality into play that has a kind of “magical quality” to it. It acts like a secret idea that’s been hidden within the ordinary reality around you that you never saw before. Yet once you’re able to “see it”, you immediately notice it in any situation in which it occurs or relates to. These ideas as mental impressions continue to multiply and grow because you start getting notions about things, or you start noticing other ideas that are related to it that stand out or spontaneously come to mind. All transmissions come by way of an “accumulative effect” that begins growing an idea as a series of realizations that develops it through a continuous process of adaptation and modification in deeper and more significant ways. Certain ideas are “magnetic” in nature (alive) and when they come into your mind have an “attractive field” (electromagnetic field) that draws you deeper and deeper into them, while connecting you to the same idea in your environment. This is similar to the choreographer who carefully orchestrates how the bigger story (pattern) of your life unfolds and comes into being out of nowhere. The creative process for how an idea becomes the basis for experiencing reality.

Example: Several years back I became imprinted with the number “44”, which began through a simple conversation with a friend in regards to the significance of numbers that stand out to us in our environment. Once I was imprinted with the idea of 44 and 8, it began showing up in every area of my life where numbers were involved. While hiking one day, it began raining and I sought shelter under a rock outcropping while gazing at a beautiful mountain scene, smelling the fragrant air and the intoxicating energy that I was submerged in, a powerful feeling came over me and I saw myself in a mountain cabin, serene and peaceful, dedicating my time to writing, painting, and transforming my life situation. This came as a deep feeling of sensing myself fully within the experience of it, and I realized it was exactly what I really wanted to do, though I had no idea how I was going to do it, because the means wasn’t apparent at that time. But from that moment on it became a form of goal as an intention for creating that I continued to imagine as an experience. I was getting ready to move out of my existing home, in which I was friends with my landlord, and casually expressed wanting to find a place in the mountains to live. He then commented on the fact that they owned a “vacation cabin” in an area of the mountains that was very secluded, approximately 50 to 60 miles away that sat on a small lake. I asked him for the address, but he didn’t know it off hand, and said he’d get back with me on it. So I decided to drive up to the area and look around to see if I liked it, with the thought that I might be able to figure out which cabin it was. As I got to the small town that it was just outside of, I stopped at the small gas station to get a map of the area and find the back roads that had lakes, which they all did, as the area was populated with several lakes and all the roads were dirt roads. I randomly picked one to start with because it stood out in my mind, and as I drove down it I came up over a hill where there was a small lake, and saw a moose standing at the edge of the water. As I stopped to look at the moose, I saw several small cabins around the lake, one of which was directly behind the moose. So I decided to drive around the lake and look at the different cabins. As I drove along, I looked for addresses, which were difficult to find, and as I came up on the cabin that was directly behind the moose, I saw the address was “44”. With this realization a deep sense of excitement came over me and I knew at that moment that it was the cabin I was going to live in. And of course it turned out to be the cabin my landlord owned and rented to me the next day.

We’re Guided through our Life Dreams Our dreams and life purpose come to us in much the same way. We have mental impressions as imaginary ideas born out of a strong feeling that’s magnetic in nature and always acting to draw us deeper and deeper into them. We feel a deep connection to and for certain ideas and we’re always imagining ourselves doing them as a form of daydreaming. Even when we can’t really see what they’re guiding us into, we are definitely aware that they serve as a form of navigation system for creating our life experiences. If we try to ignore them or give them up in favor of a different path, they never really die or go away, but continue instead to live inside of us. They remain alive in us as a deep and relentless longing for them, and we often “miss them” like a long lost lover whose memory aches in our bones. This is how destiny calls our name while biding time awaiting for our return. These mental impressions are significant to us because they produce a strong emotional response in us that’s very compelling and attractive. They usually fill us with a sense of wonder, awe, and fascination. They act to invoke deep feelings of love in us and a strong desire for them. This is the experience of connecting with our self in the outer world, or as an idea that we naturally participate in and create our life experiences out of as a result. They entice us with a form of benevolent seduction because we awaken and become more alive in response to them. These ideas live in our heart and are grown with our mind, like seeds deep in the earth, laced with memories that seem distant, yet eerily familiar, stimulated by the warmth of the sun causing us to rise up to it with an innocent eagerness and playful enthusiasm. A seed, that once it sprouts, grows in us until it consumes us and we “become” by way of the experiences it brings. It’s the means through which we “become one with it” and create ourselves through the identity and path it provides as a clear purpose and direction for our life.

How we Receive Communication as Ideas from a Higher Plane The Pineal gland is the only single-shaped endocrine gland that corresponds with the subtle organ of the “third-eye”, and represents a “single vision” for our life as connected to our Divine source, in what has been called “God’s Will” for our life. When God’s Will as the will of our Higher Self, becomes our choice for our life’s path, a kind of “quickening” takes place in the sense that things manifest in a synchronistic fashion in a much shorter period of time. When we resist it, fear it, doubt it, or need guarantees in order to commit to following it, it torments us. It becomes the basis of our inner turmoil and robs us of our inner peace and deep sense of purpose, which is the true foundation to freedom and happiness. God, as our Higher Self is always talking to us through a form of hypnotic suggestion as implanted mental impressions and ideas that are coupled with a natural love for them that makes them seem very compelling. They come through our subconscious mind in an automatic and immediate fashion and stand out as significant because of the emotions they invoke in us in response to them. It’s not guilt, fear, or intimidation, nor is it presented as what you “should do”, but comes as a knowing, a familiarity, and a natural love that seems to answer the question as a longing that lives inside of us, always beckoning us on, silently whispering our name, showing us where to go, and what to connect with in order to get there. It doesn’t come through an outward source, although signs and messages that relate to it and seem to remind us of it do, but comes instead from an inside source. It comes as an idea that you recognize as being your true self, that’s a part of your true nature and what you’re perfectly designed to do. It comes through what you have a natural inclination towards. There are no agenda’s or expectations attached to it, just a gentleness that’s also firm and never wavers. It doesn’t speak to you not in another person’s voice, but silently in your own mind as your voice commanded by a higher and more divine source. It’s like a parent urging you on, or a lover extending their hand to you and gently leading you onto the dance floor where you flow together in a single motion. It’s an intimate and loving connection that you feel at one with. It’s a relationship with the Higher Aspect of yourself who always has your best interest in mind and only acts to teach you by increasing your awareness around things, allowing you to make better and more beneficial decisions for your life.

       The Pineal is our physical antenna, transmitter and receiver from higher worlds of pure vibration. The transmission of information from higher planes comes as the potential for creating the realities of life, and is represented by mental imagery that’s coupled with a strong feeling sensation that acts to invoke a strong emotion in response to it. The mind as the “subtle body” operates the physical body through the Endocrine System through a form of “stimulus- response”, or cause and effect.  The Pineal gland regulates “state” and produces a chain reaction with all the other Endocrine glands to produce and regulate the chemistry of the body to match the state of the mind.  Our state-of-mind is produced by whatever mental imagery we focus on and think about as an imaginary reality. All ideas from the Higher Plane come as archetypes (thematic ideas) with the inherent properties of sound and visual form and are translated into a plausible reality in the imagination of the individual acting to receive them. The mental impression that’s formed becomes the pattern for creating a certain type of reality, and the emotion invoked in response to it is what connects us to that same idea in our external environment, and acts to attract it while simultaneously reorganizing the field of information around us to be of the same nature. We are connected to everyone and everything around us through emotions, which are connected to certain types of ideas and are what ignite and bring them to life. The 3rd-Eye and Pineal gland is how we receive ideas from higher realms as a form of vertical transmission that seeds the heart (and nervous system) with the feeling of that idea, producing a corresponding horizontal transmission that organizes and connects us with that same idea in everything around us. The ideas we get from the higher plane are expressed emotionally within our current situation, and connect us to others living out the same idea as a part of a greater dynamic that’s of the same or similar nature. The higher source of consciousness transmits through the subconscious mind, which is passive and receptive in nature, providing the “program” that serves to lead us into a specific idea as the fulfillment of our dreams and our true destiny.

The Soul speaks to the Subconscious through Metaphor and Symbolic Ideas This idea is represented by the capstone (Higher Self) of the “all-seeing eye” on the pyramid (triune mind) that’s actually an antenna and mirror that reveals the “micro and macro as being complementary opposites of the same thing”.  This idea is further symbolized by the equal armed cross. As above, so below, forms the vertical arm of the cross as information coming from the plane above, that sets the equivalent emotional frequency as a living (active) pattern (form), which transmits and receives information of the same emotional nature on the material or lateral plane. This transmission within the material plane is represented by the horizontal line of the cross, which intersects at the heart or center, and in Sacred Geometry by the Vesica Piscis of the Dyad as the “womb of the universe”, which expands and separates from itself as the Monad, then births reality out of the same qualities it shares in common with another to form a joint reality. The higher mind, represented by the single point at the top of the triangle (3rd-eye as the unified mind), divides into polar opposites of itself as it descends into the lower plane of material reality as dual aspects – body and soul, subconscious and self-conscious, and inner and outer – and acts “on itself” in the lower plane by informing and programming the subconscious aspect of Itself. This primary form of mental programming comes as feelings and mental impressions that are of an internal and subtle source, yet strangely powerful, compared to the mental programming that comes from the outer world which is loud, often intense and obtrusive, and being formed out of multiple agendas all taking place simultaneously that only acts to awaken within us emotions and ideas of the same nature. Emotions are the language of the material plane and are of a universal nature, where we all experience them in pretty much the same way, whereas the thoughts we form in response to them are unique to us as the memories we formed while experiencing those same emotions. The soul, which partakes in both the spiritual and the material world as the medium that ties them together, is what produces both the inner and the outer reality, which it then creates the illusion of having to “choose between” in terms of how it identifies with the reality of its own making and the experiences that naturally ensue out of its decision. If the soul mistakes itself for “being” the body, only sensing itself “as” the body, and lives life for the sake of material gain and the fulfillment of selfish desires, “building itself” out of the material plane, it “bonds itself” to the material body and “dies” (its identity) with the body. If the soul realizes it’s true identity as a spiritual being and answers the call of its destiny to serve the greater whole of humanity, and utilizes its ability to “create itself” by identifying instead with its higher self, then it builds itself according to spirit, and magnetizes itself to the spiritual plane. The soul itself exists as an “archetypal idea” that it creates of itself rather than an actual personality that’s limited to a specific body, time, and place. By releasing all attachments to the material plane as a means of creating its “sense of self” as something and someone specific, it resides in an immortal state and as a result transcends the death of the body.

The Nature of Conflict between Known and Unknown aspects of Ourselves Our Pineal and corresponding third-eye is our transmitter and receiver to the higher realms of our true divine nature. We’re always being led through intuitive methods as subtle ideas that are superimposed over outer ideas revealing the true nature of things as an opposite and direct reflection of each other. They contrast with each other in order to define and bring clarity. Inner turmoil is designed to show us where we’re in “conflict with ourselves” between conscious and unconscious aspects that are working together to produce our experience of ourselves as a cohesive reality. It shows us where we’re having trouble making decisions, where there’s a contrast between the inner and the outer, between how we feel in contrast to the expectations of others that seem to contradict each other. Where we feel one way and know in very clear terms what we want to do, but feel afraid to do it because of the consequences it will render. Where self-doubt, sabotaging tendencies and beliefs seemingly prevent us from doing it, or we constantly talk ourselves out of it without ever actually taking action on it to create it. Internal conflict is always showing us a choice that we’re having difficulty making, or where we think we’ve made a firm decision yet remain in a constant state of debating it by going back and forth. If we simply make the decisions we need to, the conflict ceases and we immediately move forward in creating the reality of our decision, though it may simultaneously act to set another one in motion. But if we don’t make the decision we know we need to make and we continue on the same path causing the inner turmoil, we just continue going back and forth, and act to torment ourselves through an anguish that’s self-inflicted and maintained in a habitual manner.

Pulling it all together We’re always in the process of receiving, transforming, and transmitting information as imaginary ideas from multiple planes simultaneously through intuition. The higher and lower plane as a vertical transmission is polar in nature as complementary opposites, whereas the material plane as a horizontal transmission is sympathetic in nature. We can only receive a transmission from the higher plane while we’re in a passive and receptive state within the lower plane. All communication from our Higher Self comes through our subconscious mind, which exists in a constant passive and receptive state, and becomes known to us consciously through feelings, dreams, notions, mental impressions, sudden impulses, intuitive insights, enhanced awareness, and as an inner voice. The subconscious is what produces our perception of the outer world, and reflects the metaphorical idea it’s been seeded with as a projection onto the outer world where we often experience it through a form of coincidence and synchronistic unfolding that has a magical feeling around it, or as a realization around the inner nature of things. When a transmission comes from a Higher Spiritual source, it comes as a feeling that contains a “whole idea” as an imaginary reality that serves as a metaphor that provides the programming necessary for producing it as an outer reality of the same or similar nature. All ideas are “original in nature”, and not “self-produced” from the personality of the body and the memories of our formative conditioning. As we form a comprehension of them they act to educate us as to the true nature of things in terms of how the spiritual is what’s always acting to create and animate the material world. They never make decisions for us, but act instead to bring us a deeper awareness around things that show us new ways of perceiving them, allowing us to make new and more intelligent decisions for our life. They come as a form of guidance that expands our awareness around whatever it is we’re asking or wondering about that dissolves our limitations which are always born out of an incorrect perception of ourselves. Communication that’s telepathically transmitted from the lower, material plane comes as emotional charges of some form that only act to invoke memory, which was self-produced by our personality through how we were raised, and uses that memory as the means to create the present to be of the same idea as the past. Emotions produce automatic behaviors in us in exactly the same way instinct informs and creates automatic behaviors in animals. As we receive an emotional charge, we immediately reference and associate with a memory that was created out of the same emotional state and repeat the same behaviors in an instant and automatic fashion.

        All thoughts that we telepathically tune into and act to receive within the material plane are a form of memory that’s been created by other humans at some point throughout history. As we form imaginary realities with a strong emotion associated with them, we imprint that memory on the ether, which is the same plane of information all of life is tied into within the lower plane as a form of recycled archetypes. We only have the ability to tune into and act as a receiver for the same type of thoughts born out of the same type of emotional states that we’re programmed with. It’s always our emotional state, and not our thoughts, that connect us to everything else within the material world. When an idea as a imaginary thought comes from above, it’s always original in nature and acts to produce a unique form of reality that doesn’t stem from our current memories within our current body or personality. As the idea is turned into a reality by adapting it to our paradigm and current life situation, forming what you could call a symbolic idea as a “seed” (program), it’s brought down into the heart center of the subconscious (4th chakra) where it becomes sensational, and acts to invoke emotions (3rd chakra) that are arousing (2nd chakra) and produce our physical reality (1st chakra) as an equivalent outer experience of the inner reality that started in the imagination. As it enters the heart, symbolic of the subconscious, it forms a horizontal transmission as a kind of gravitational field (electromagnetic field) and connects us to that same emotional reality in everything around us. The reality as a vibration has a self-organizing mechanism in it that acts to organize and configure the outer reality to metaphorically match the inner reality. We can receive transmissions from the material plane while in a fully active state with our conscious, thinking mind, whereas we can only receive communication from higher planes when we pacify the active aspect of our thinking mind. It’s only from a calm, peaceful, and meditative state that we’re able to be a “receiver” for communication from higher planes. This communication is prompted by prayer and “asking” for guidance of some kind, or from our normal state of wondering about something, which acts as a form of inquiry or request for more information as awareness. Self-Mastery: Metamorphosis, Self-Creation, and the Art of Becoming

The true meaning of what we call “self-mastery” is our ability to master our own nature and resume conscious control over our higher capacities for creating ourselves. The fact is we’re always in the process of creating ourselves in every moment based on what we enter into relationship with, blend with energetically, and become like in nature. The mind, like the body, is comprised of vibrating essence that’s undergoing a constant process of metamorphosis by exchanging subtle energy with everything around it. The mind is a combination of both spirit and matter, and while it coagulates into temporary forms and becomes somewhat fixed and habitual in nature, it still remains in a constant flux and flow within the same fixed patterns and tendencies. The mind is what constitutes the inner nature and essence of form, and is what gives it its character and personality that determines how it functions and behaves, and what type of stories it naturally participates in.

Nothing can be truly “known” unless it’s experienced and lived. We “become” by way of our self-created experiences. In order to know ourselves in a certain way, we have to create an experience of it. By experiencing it, we get a sense of ourselves as the experience, and identify with “being that way”. The more experiences we have of a certain nature, the more firmly we become identified with being of the same nature. This is how we’re “conditioned” through the dramas and dynamics being played out that we’re a part of that serve to shape our personality and inner nature as our constitution and character. Once the initial pattern is established, we then act unconsciously to generate more and more of the same type of experiences as the outer expression of our inner nature that acts simultaneously to create us through habitual tendencies. The mind is fluid, malleable, and fixed simultaneously, and readily shapes into patterns as a self-organizing mechanism that then undergoes a constant state of re-organizing its essential structure by blending with other natures (minds) of a similar, yet diverse nature.

The Nature of the Mind as the Monad

The mind, as a combination of both spirit (archetypes) and matter (essence), forms a sphere of stabilized energy as an electromagnetic field of alternating currents, referred to in modern science as a Torus, and simply as a “sphere” or “Monad” in Spiritual Sciences. This electromagnetic sphere of energy is comprised of information that’s constantly being absorbed, broke down to complementary terms, then assimilated and synthesized into an overall information matrix, upgrading and modifying it. All energy as vibration contains information as patterns that produce form structured by an inherent self-organizing mechanism. The main frequency for our information matrix as our mental paradigm or “model of the world” is always absorbing and integrating other information of a similar nature, and reorganizing itself by incorporating.

We can only resonate with and thereby absorb into our mind information that’s of the same or similar frequency (nature) to us. While all have what we can call a “consistent frequency” that we vibrate at as our core, habitual frequency (mind-set), it can still act to attract, draw in, and integrate information that’s somewhat different yet close enough in nature that it serves to grow and evolve our model by expanding it. Other information that’s too different in nature and can’t be readily incorporated, that’s vibrating at a frequency to far apart from ours, can’t be recognized or understood, and so we can’t serve as a channel for it to manifest through us. For this reason, evolution only comes through a constant process of “learning by becoming one with other spheres” and steadily modifying our vibration and inner nature through gradual increments. When learning stops, growth stops, and we become fixed and start dying.

The mind-field as a Torus (sphere), represented in Sacred Geometry by the “Flower of Life” as a sphere of complementary electromagnetic currents circulating in opposite directions simultaneously within the same space, both expands and contracts as a form of respiration. As it expands out to a peripheral boundary, it’s simultaneously attracting and repulsing information, then turns back towards its core and draws the magnetized information into itself for metabolizing. As its vibration shifts through the incorporation of new energy, it no longer resonates with old, outdated information vibrating at a different rate, and it’s eliminated from the system as a form of waste by exhaling and sending it back out into the space around us as a form of recycling. So we’re constantly in the process of organizing and reorganizing ourselves as an energetic matrix of knowledge attained by blending into it and becoming of the same nature.

Sexual Union

The Sexual Principle

We’re always mixing and blending into the spheres of intelligent energy around us through the natural activity of the subconscious mind. We do this naturally and without any direct awareness of what’s taking place, and what’s acting “on” and “in” us to create us. As we blend and mix with other mind-fields, we take on the same nature and essence and start becoming like them in nature. This is a natural form of influence that’s going on all the time through the relationships we naturally form with everyone and everything around us. Whomever we associate with on a regular basis, we start becoming like in attitude and outlook, mind-set, emotions, thoughts, behaviors and tendencies, and so on. The stronger and more intimate the relationship, the more it effects and transforms us. No bond is greater than sexual intercourse, or mother and child, where an actual “fusion” takes place, or the child grows in and is produced by the same nature as the mother.

Anyone that we’ve had sexual intercourse with we permanently bond with in nature and essence, shaping us morally and determining our destiny through a shared nature. This is why marriage was only consummated through sexual intercourse where two people became “as one in spirit and mind”, and began operating as a single entity. This principle is represented in modern quantum physics by an “interference pattern”, formed by two fields of the same frequency blending together, altering the frequency of both to form a new coherent frequency, and “entanglement” where any two particles (entities) that are “born together” or become entangled (fuse energetically), become “as one” and continue to function as the same nature or frequency even when separated by great distances. This is often hard for us to understand in practical terms because it happens at the subtle level of the subconscious mind that operates automatically without our direct awareness. This is how we form “karmic bonds” with people that last throughout time where we continue incarnating together through a shared energetic (spiritual) nature that cooperatively plays out a joint experience of reality.

The Principles of Sacred Geometry

In Spiritual Sciences this same idea is represented in Sacred Geometry as the Tetrad, where the Monad (sphere of consciousness) blends into and forms union with a regenerated aspect of itself as an energetic marriage of polar opposites. This marriage forms the Dyad as the “womb of the universe”, and together produce a new inner nature as the Triad (subtle body), which then provides the foundation for the outer reality of the Tetrad as its offspring(physical body). This symbolizes the “three in one” principle of all single entities being comprised of complementary opposites who interact to form a third, functional aspect as a new and unique combination of shared qualities. Our inner nature is always mingling with everything around us, fluctuating and changing, yet stable and consistent, forming our perception of reality and all of our actions and deeds.

As we go through life, we’re always exchanging energy and information with others and our environment, experiencing ourselves by way of the exchange in new and varied ways, and transforming our identity by way of the experiences it brings. This is the process we develop our ego through as our identification with the material world. Likewise, this is also the process we use to form our identity in and intentional and purposeful way. All of our life events and our relationship with others provide us with a kind of “moral test” where we’re attracted to and seduced by other people’s nature and actions. As we enter into relationship with them and the activities they naturally engage in and take on the same qualities as a result, and we like how we become and thereby start identifying with being that type of person, we become the same in nature and are ultimately corrupted by it at the soul level. As we transform ourselves to “lower energies”, those born out of desire for pleasure and personal gain of some kind, that strengthens our identification with material things, we can no longer serve as the vehicle for “higher energies”, and we cut ourselves off from our spiritual source as the result. We condemn our soul to the material existence our identity is dependent on for creating ourselves, and that “false identity” dies with the body that birthed and sustained it.

        In all forms of initiation as spiritual growth and awakening a process of self-purification is necessary as the first step, because all higher knowledge can only come “through” a nature that’s of a similar or equivalent nature. One that’s of a similar morality and vibratory frequency in terms of its moral character. We can only “attain” knowledge through our ability to become one with it as an experience of it. Higher, spiritual knowledge only comes through direct experience, not as a theory that’s recited and talked about but never brought into practice. All spiritual knowledge is a practice of some kind that produces and experience of it “as” it. We only learn by living. So a purification process is the prerequisite and foundation necessary for becoming a vehicle for higher knowledge. We purify ourselves through conscious use of the same creative process of what we’re identified with and use as the means of creating our experiences.

We’re always forming an amalgamation with the nature of others as the means of becoming “like them”. The Higher Soul exists in a constant purified state that’s symbolically represented by gold. This is because of the properties gold naturally possesses that allows it to blend with and form a new solid (fixed form) with other metals, that can then be reheated and returned to a liquid state where it separates from the other metals and resumes its natural constitution as “pure gold”. Gold is soft and malleable in its natural state, and only hardens into a rigid and fixed shape when combined with other profane metals. This is the same property the soul possesses in being able to blend with other essences, becoming stabilized and fixed in form as a result, then through active use of the will, separate from the essence it took on and return to its pure unadulterated nature. Gold is also “non-reactive”, and so it never tarnishes or corrodes. In order to maintain the soul in a purified state, we have to neutralize ourselves to the emotional states that govern the material plane and not “react” to them or be altered by them in any way.

Temptation

The true test of “temptation” is when we’re not tempted at all by it because we’re not identified with it and it’s not “in us” as a part of us. We’re only tempted by things and idea we have a desire for, feel a strong connection to, and form a natural reaction to in some way. We’re seduced by the experience it offers that we use in turn to shape ourselves through. When we find something repulsive or disgusting, we’re still using it to shape ourselves through the experience of our reaction to it. Any reaction is a form of corruption because we’re still forming our identity based on the experience the adverse reaction gives us. We shape our identity by contrasting and opposing it, so we’re still identified with it and literally being controlled and determined by the material world. The whole process of spiritual purification and assuming our true identity comes by not being effected by the material world or the nature and behavior of others.

This is forming the recognition of the true nature of things as the spiritual world as the mind and internal nature of things being what “animates and determines” them, and not the other way around. The spiritual world has supremacy over the material world and is what acts to create it and give it life. Once we become identified with our higher nature by “becoming it” in essence, material forms and ideas no longer affect us and don’t cause a reaction of any kind “in us”. We no longer act to “draw in” and become one with them as a joint experience of the same nature, and remain in a neutral state in relationship to them. When purified (mentally, emotionally, and physically) and embodying higher levels of consciousness, we become a vehicle and instrument for higher powers that are neutral and unbiased to the actions and nature of others, where we’re never controlled or determined by them.

The Nature of Compassion

By acquiring a thorough understanding of how this process works through the Law of Vibration and Resonance, we can begin working with it in an intentional manner to self-create while forming compassion for others. We can “blend with” and then “un-blend” with others at will. We can blend with those whose character traits we want to awaken in us, actively express, and become identified with, then dissolve the connection once that has been achieved. We can also learn how to dissolve our bond with those who are of poor character or never form a relationship with them to begin with. By intentionally entering into and becoming one with the nature of another and “experience life as they do”, we can become compassionate and truly see and understand them as they are. Then we can separate ourselves from them and return to our normal state a part from them. When this becomes a conscious process undertaken with full awareness of what we’re doing and why, we don’t become a permanent part of them by beginning to participate in the same reality from the same perspective as a drama of some kind because we relate to them and begin identifying with them. This is what happens when it’s an unconscious process that takes place without our awareness or intention.

True compassion is a demonstration of self-mastery as the conscious application of law. We can only create on any given plane by utilizing the laws governing that plane. We have to enter into the sphere of that plane, becoming of the same nature as it is, and work with the experience it naturally produces while still maintaining full awareness of our self and our intention for doing so and not get lost in the experience of it. It’s easy to get lost in the illusion of the experience because it’s so real it draws us into it through a form of reverie and we lose memory of ourselves as being apart from it and recognition of the truth that’s operating through it. Whenever we get caught up in an experience where we’re truly and intimately involved and participating in it as part of it, we enter into a primarily unconscious state. It requires constant practice and full awareness in order to maintain an awareness of the laws involved that are making the experience possible. Once we can get to the point where we can stay aware of what’s going on through the whole process, we can begin using it as a profound tool for our own spiritual growth and advancement by becoming an instrument for Higher Powers to work in the world through sole identification with our Higher, Universal Self that’s not subject to reality, but is instead the one that’s orchestrating it.

The Subconscious Mind as the Vehicle for the Soul and the Secret to the Manifestation of Cosmic Will

The aspect of the mind known as the subconscious mind is also what we can think of as our “body consciousness” and is symbolized in Esoteric Sciences by the Moon which acts as a “ship of the sky” that serves as the means for transportation and communication. The subconscious mind is of the astral plane and is “magnetic” in nature, which means it acts as a passive receiver for electric, willful transmission of information as archetypes; just as the moon has no light of its own, and merely acts to reflect the light of the sun, becoming a source of light in the dark. Light itself is clear and dark until it’s absorbed and reflects off of dust particles or matter of some form, which produces the illumination that we call light where we can see material forms based on their ability to simultaneously absorb and act as a mirror for light (forming holograms). The subconscious acts in much the same way and doesn’t generate or produce visual images and thoughts of its own, but merely acts to absorb and reflect them in the faculty of the imagination as a form of memory or as an idea that comes to it in complete form as a “field of information” with a ready-made pattern and set of instructions for producing a similar pattern as both an inner and outer reality of the same nature.

The subconscious mind is a dual aspect of the higher, human soul and is what forms the personality out of memories that are carried from one incarnation to another. Because it’s passive and receptive in nature, and takes in consciousness and information from everything around it without the ability to judge or discriminate (it doesn’t select or choose), it assimilates and is modified by whatever it comes into contact and communication with as an exchange of information being transmitted between two things. The subconscious is considered the feminine principle and “uniting intelligence” that’s connected to all other subconscious minds and personalities throughout the natural world, regardless of distance, as a natural form of telepathy we think of as “instinct”. It’s the agency of telepathy that exists not only between all living beings of the material plane, but also between higher and lower planes as “intuition”. It acts as a blind receiver of the masculine aspect of “will” as thought and ideas which are reflected in the imagination of the subconscious which acts like a womb that grows and develops the idea into a possible reality by how it applies and adapts it to the immediate environment and incorporates it into a field of information as memory, allowing it to connect to that same idea in everything else, forming a perception of it, and automatically producing the behaviors and activities that produce it in material form as an experience.

The subconscious carries the self-conscious mind within it in its potential state as a form of gestation, and births the self-conscious aspect of the same mind at puberty, symbolized esoterically by the Madonna (Mother) and Male child, which is the stage of development when we first begin to be able to think for ourselves and make our own decisions about what to do and who we become. Birth of the self-conscious mind marks the stage where we consciously begin creating ourselves as an individual. This is the aspect of the mind associated with “brain consciousness and thinking as internal dialogue”, that’s born exclusively within the body and forms our ego as the full identification with or as our body. This is the aspect of the mind that discriminates and makes decisions and gives us the ability to take over our own creation by using our thoughts to direct and inform our subconscious mind. All thoughts act as a form of suggestion that seed the subconscious with ideas for turning into experiences through our outer reality. The self-conscious mind is primarily based on outer awareness of the material world and forms our identity by how it senses itself in relationship with it. It first acts to give the inner, subconscious mind the suggestion for what to create outwardly, then witnesses its own creation in the outer world and fashions itself by identifying with the experience it brings.

        The subconscious is under the control of the self-conscious will as directed thought (of self or others) and is obedient and subject to being directed and commanded by the active, masculine aspect of the mind. The subconscious is the aspect of the mind we share with the animal kingdom and all of Nature, and is the agency through which we are both controlled and led in an obedient and mindless way by others, and are able to control and direct ourselves as the primary form of self-creation. The subconscious is subordinate to the Higher-Self and self-conscious and directly controlled and in-formed by suggestions that originate as the mental activities of both the Higher-Self the self-conscious aspects of the mind. It will take in the suggestions from any source outside the self as well and manifest the reality inherent in those suggestions. It acts as the receptive and regenerative aspect of the Life Power. The self-conscious mind, which also has the ability to analyze, evaluate, and discriminate, serves as the “gate keeper” to the subconscious and can actively decide what to let in and take hold, and what to reject and keep out as the means of “protecting” itself and only allowing or intentionally providing what it wants to become a part of its reality.

The subconscious as the feminine principle is the “root substance” as the invisible matrix and substratum beneath all objective planes of existence that acts to organize and compose and animate all material reality. It’s the connective medium between us and everything else. It’s the medium of instinct and intuition that operates within the Astral Plane of the Elements as a unified field of coherent information, and is also the means by which the Higher Mind controls the Elements as the means of creating, orchestrating, and animating material reality. Just as the subconscious is the telepathic and regenerative medium for the self-conscious will and the will of others, it’s also the medium through which the Higher-Will communicates and provides direction and instruction as a form of what we call “guidance” as well as objectively administering karma (past memory formed out of our deeds) as universal justice, providing us with the experiences on the receiving end of past deeds allowing us to realize and make new choices, and rectify and correct them by responding in a new way.

Communication comes to us from our Higher-Self or Soul through intuition, sudden insights, as thoughts reflected in our imagination, day dreams, and night time dreams, because the active will needs a passive receiver to “conceive of ideas” and move them from a purely latent potential state to and active state. These ideas, once conceived by the subconscious are reflected in our mind’s eye, allowing the self-conscious to witness them and they become a natural part of our outer experience through a form of synchronicity and free flowing chain of association that’s reorganized intuitively. Ideas of a higher nature come as archetypes which are universal and metaphorical in nature, and simply provide a symbolic prototype as a form of thematic template for producing as a personal creation. Once conceived by the subconscious and reflected in the mind for the self-conscious to see as a mental impression or internal voice, it evaluates it and decides whether it wants to use it to create. If the self-conscious likes it, it chooses to continue thinking about it, and as it thinks about it, it adapts and customizes it into a new variation that can be easily created as part of its outer reality. Once developed into a new variation by concentrating on it and defining it, it becomes a form of virtual memory as a seed or pattern for reproducing by the subconscious mind.

       Though the subconscious mind is the creative mind of the material plane, it only creates based on memory, which it simply repeats as a metaphor or theme and duplicates, transcribes, and copies in a repetitive fashion over and over until it’s given a new memory as a pattern for creating. It creates reality as an experience out of whatever suggestion it’s given by first imagining it, then connecting to the elements of the same nature all around it, producing the means for experiencing it. It creates lies and illusions in exactly the same fashion as it creates truth because it doesn’t know the difference. It relies on the self-conscious mind to filter the suggestions through reasoning, discrimination, and discernment. It doesn’t have the ability to perceive errors or formulate the necessary action to correct itself of errors in perceiving (sin). It simply takes in the mistaken results of faulty, superficial self-conscious observations and repeats and elaborates on them. While it lacks the ability to critically analyze suggestion, it’s also the channel for telepathic communication and acts to receive and metabolize suggestions from any active source when left unguarded by its own self-conscious aspect.

The subconscious mind only creates reality out of memory and forms habitual patterns and tendencies that are rooted in resistance to change and inertia, and only acts to maintain the status quo and repeat the same ideas of the past in the present. It operates out of the tendencies established in our formative conditioning, and simply repeats the same type of experiences over and over in different situations and circumstances. It operates naturally to resist the suggestions of change given to it by the self-conscious mind as its opposing, yet complementary opposite. It operates to create through the association of ideas and memories of a similar nature. If the suggestion given is in to sharp a contrast with its ecology of interwoven memories, it doesn’t know how to adapt it properly and can’t intuitively connect to it in everything else. For this reason, suggestion needs to be given as a gradual process undertaken in stages as a form of intuitive growth and development. Each aspect of the same mind is of itself non-functional in terms of creating, and they only become functional when operating in a unified manner as a whole.

The subconscious and self-conscious minds tend to speak different languages, which makes communication between them even more difficult. While the self-conscious mind is non-emotional, logical, time-oriented, and abstract in nature, the subconscious is emotional, intuitive, metaphorical, always present, and experiential in nature. In order for the self-conscious to give a proper, easily translated suggestion to the subconscious, it must be delivered in much the same way as a memory is formed as a sensory experience that’s emotional in nature and forms meaning as the basis for the reality created from it. Whatever we want the subconscious to produce, we have to imagine it as if we’re experiencing it, endow it with sensory intensity in terms of defining it through what we’re seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, smelling, and what we’re telling ourselves about it that gives it meaning and forms the basis for the story we tell ourselves as the means of “experiencing it”. By making it intense in sensory terms we form a strong emotional response to it, and the emotions associated and related to it become what drives all our automatic behaviors and serves to produce it.

       The subconscious is intuitive which means it sees any idea as a metaphor or analogy that’s a form of theme or generalized idea, much like an archetype, and connects to whatever is of a similar nature in everything around it and produces a similar type of experience using whatever elements are available to it in the immediate environment. So the experience created won’t be exactly as we imagined it, but it’ll hold true to the same type of idea as a form of theme. This is why we often don’t recognize our own creations, is because they’re formed as analogies and correspondences to the ideas we formed in a specific way by how we imagined them. So all suggestion, in order to be effective needs to be created and planted in the subconscious as a form of virtual memory of an actual (imagined) experience. We recognize the fruition of our suggestion intuitively as a similar type of experience that holds true to the same type of idea as a kind of theme, though the elements used to orchestrate it may be of a very different nature than we imagined.

The subconscious also houses all memory of the soul that is latent and undeveloped powers in their virgin state that haven’t been stimulated into activity. Only a portion of our soul’s memory is activated and brought into expression as our development through our initial conditioning, while the larger portion of it usually remains dormant and underutilized. In this sense the subconscious is only “potentially reproductive” and has to be given a seed of an idea as a pattern or dynamic, which serves to activate the latent powers of our inner nature that are of a similar nature in response to it. This works in much the same way the male provides the seed as one strand of DNA or group of information as potential qualities and characteristics and the female then matches it with another strand as a form of natural selection of complimentary qualities that together form a new whole of a unique, yet similar nature. The outer acts to stimulate the complementary aspects inwardly, bringing them out in an active state where they’re developed through expression as an interactive dynamic of some sort.

Memory is produced as accumulated experience through the dynamic marriage of the subconscious and self-conscious mind as “that which was, that which is, and that which will be” as a continuation or evolutionary flow produced by whatever we couple and combine with. This interaction between the masculine and feminine, between the self-conscious and subconscious produces a “stream of consciousness” as automatic internal dialogue and habitual thoughts replaying memories over and over. While the self-conscious has the ability to seed and impregnate the subconscious with new ideas for creating, what usually ends up happening is the subconscious drives thoughts in a repetitive manner by replaying memories over and over in our mind in a habitual manner.

       It’s easy to realize through self-observation of our own thoughts that we tend to think the same type of thoughts over and over, and what we’re thinking about today is the same things we thought about yesterday, last week, and last month. Through memory that’s replayed repeatedly through internal dialogue, we’re actually using the creative power of our self-conscious mind to program and direct our subconscious mind with the same ideas of the past as memories and simply create more and more of the same type of experiences, usually without ever realizing that’s what we’re doing and why. In order to embrace and begin utilizing our true ability to create, we have to learn how to still our constant random thoughts and prevent the emotional states they create and keep us locked into, and learn how to be fully present instead and think in terms of what we do want to create, and begin artistically designing the suggestions as imagined experiences that will provide new direction for our subconscious to begin creating.

In the symbolic idea of the “Book of Life”, which is the Astral or Akashic Field of the imagination, all experiences as deeds and actions, whether actually performed or just thought about intensely are “recorded” or impressed upon the soul and subconscious as its constitution, which is comprised of memory. The subconscious incarnates into a material body with the soul memory of all past events, of the race, the planet, and of humanity, all of which share the same subconscious mind, much like smaller fields that are nested within and interwoven with greater fields. The cosmic subconscious record of the entire planet are contained in what we call the “collective unconscious” of Nature and humanity, and acts as a natural form of instinct and intuition as interwoven memories that are an integral part of the same overall reality as a larger ongoing story and interactive dynamic.

The soul uses universal memory as archetypes for self-expression that provides the means for producing personal memory that becomes a permanent part of our soul’s psychological make-up. We create memory as the personal expression of universal archetypes that shapes us as an archetype ourselves. As humans with creative ability, we use various combinations of qualities and characteristics to shape ourselves as a unique, composite nature. The gods create man “in their image and with their likeness” as archetypal forces and powers that we “draw into ourselves” and use as the means of self-creating by becoming “like them” in personality, identity, and behaviors. We acquire the same qualities and characteristics of whatever we “become one with” in mind and body. All of humanity draws off of the same field of archetypal powers as the means of self-creating. So in this sense we’re all of the same universal mind and nature, just in different combinations and potencies.

       The subconscious works through intuition as a dynamic system of correspondences and is how things are connected and interrelated as a higher-form of instinct that’s always in-tune to the inner nature of things and how they relate to the outer nature of the whole. We perceive things intuitively through their natural connection and relationship to each other and as a congruent part of a larger reality or dynamic pattern. Intuitively we can perceive and recognize the same principle or idea playing out through various material forms and ecological systems as unique expressions and variations of the same nature and idea. The instinctual-intuitive mind exists as an inherent part of its environment, and is always present within that environment, unlike the self-conscious mind which exists “in time” and is usually thinking about the past or future and hardly ever present in the moment.

The two minds work together to create reality as both an inner and outer experience as a flow of concentration that’s immediate and “becomes one” with whatever idea it’s concentrating on and forming an internal representation of. Any idea that we concentrate on for an extended period of time literally becomes a part of us as a natural “thought process” or conceptual reality. As we “take in” and absorb an idea, allowing it to take hold and form into a detailed reality by thinking about it, is integrated into our mental paradigm and becomes a part of our perceptual lens and filtering system that we look through as a means of seeing the same idea as an inherent part of our outer environment. Once we form it into an internal representation of a possible reality, making it real and therefore believable, it acts just like an actual life event and memory and becomes a part of us and our ability to perceive and experience that same idea as it’s playing out all around us.

The inner and the outer, the feminine and the masculine, are dynamic aspects of the same thing, and one can’t be fully understood without the other. They act together to produce a “functioning third” aspect as their offspring. Just as the right and left hemispheres of the brain form a corresponding operation to produce a cohesive reality with contrasting aspects. The masculine is the concrete and analytical aspect, and the feminine the fluid and experiential aspect that together produce a corresponding inner and outer reality that’s used to create the memory that becomes a part of the soul’s constitution as a fundamental form of self-creation.

       What we refer to as a “genius”, use this method of single minded focus as entering into the “flow of consciousness” as deep states of concentration on an idea that allows access to the whole idea as a greater reality or corresponding idea, where intuitive insights spontaneously form. By tuning into an idea, we calibrate our mental field to the vibration of the idea as a kind of metaphor that begins resonating with that same idea as a vibration in everything else, forming sympathy with it. Through resonance, we “enter into” and become a part of that idea as a greater whole and can perceive its inner nature which appears to unfold within us, just as a memory does, revealing itself to us in its fullness. Through this process as entering into a stream of consciousness as a kind of magnetic current, we acquire knowledge intuitively as coming from an inner source as a passive vision that we simply “observe” with the self-aware mind by witnessing it. Whatever idea we “become one with” in mind and spirit, we synthesize and metabolize as a permanent part of our normal thought-processes.

The same laws of the human mind and soul are also operating in a complementary fashion on higher levels of which we’re an emanation, projection, or offspring of. Just as memory exists fluently on the material plane of instinct, it exists on the cosmic planes as archetypes, and we access both through the same method of intuition that concentrates by directing our full attention into an idea and in doing so accesses all information associated with it. We act as the vehicle for life as organized form and are able, by knowing how to use our mind to create, to evolve to higher states of organized form as a more complex and dynamic form of consciousness.

We impose limitation on an idea by confining it to a physical form located in time and space, because it’s necessary in order to self-express and create ourselves by way of being the vehicle for that idea. While involvement in a form is only temporarily binding and restricting for the Life-Force Power, being permanently incarcerated in form is extinction of the human soul and spirit. We’re always both growing and evolving ourselves to higher forms of consciousness by using our divine nature (higher mind) to self-create in an intentional manner, or degrading and devolving ourselves by creating out of the memories of our subconscious, emotional and animal-like nature.

Form disciplines force with a merciless severity (represented by the sphere of Mercy and Severity on the Tree of Life) by binding a free-moving force into a fixed idea, which represents death to the force. Incarnation of the soul and spirit into a body sets death into motion as the inevitable conclusion. Life in the body is death to the soul that gives it life, and death of the body is the birth of the soul that returns it to its natural state of liberation. The Higher-Soul acts within the etheric body of the lower soul to self-create through a constant state of evolving and “becoming” through self-perpetuated changes. The “self” shouldn’t be translated as “I am”, but rather as “I am becoming”, because it’s in a constant state of change as a continuous growth process through a basic state of self-expression. The soul becomes organized in form then constantly undergoes the process or re-organizing itself into new patterns by absorbing and taking on archetypal ideas that develop it by acquiring new qualities and characteristics. The soul and body are always transforming through constant life and death processes of regeneration. This process is carried out simultaneously on multiple planes and scales of existence.

The Threefold Nature of our Mind, the Art of Self-Perfection, and the True Nature of Choice, Imagination, and Higher Will

One of the problems we have in realizing the true nature of not only ourselves, but of reality in general, is that we have a hard time not thinking in separative, dualistic terms, while trying to comprehend a reality that’s the unification of multiple dimensions into a cohesive whole. We fail to recognize the relationship that exists between higher and lower planes, between spirit and matter, and between ourselves as we exist simultaneously on various levels of consciousness. We imagine that spirit exists separate and apart from matter, that our Higher Self is a being separate and different from us, that our own subconscious and conscious mind exists and operate independently of each other, and that our outer reality is objective in nature and has nothing to do with our inner reality and how we form an experience of the outer world. We’ve been trained to a mindset that sees all of life which exists as a unified whole as being comprised instead of a bunch of separate parts that have no direct relationship to each other and as being able to function independent of everything else, when in fact it’s actually an intimate and cohesive part of everything else.

The confusion arises from the fact that we exist in a primarily “dual state” as a form of paradox while in the material realm. This dual state as the perception of separation that creates the appearance of our self and others, as if “we’re in here” and they’re “out there”, apart from us, is necessary in order to have an experience of ourselves as someone or something specific. We can only “experience ourselves” as we exist in relationship with everything else. Our very perception is formed by “seeing ourselves in everything else”. This is because we actually exist as being “universal in nature”, comprised of a unique combination of archetypal attributes and qualities that make up our “self” as memories formed out of self-created experiences of ourselves, which are the very foundation for the psychological make-up of humanity as a whole, and that of the Natural world which is also governed by a form of archetypal memory as the “instinctual field” of the “collective Unconscious”.

What we refer to as the invisible realm of spirit that underlies, permeates, and animates the material world giving it Life, is the realm of archetypal ideas and principles that serve to give rise to all material form. Archetypes exist as a form of generalized, universal idea as attributes, qualities, and personality traits that are used at the personal level to self-create by embodying them and becoming one with the idea they represent and acquiring those same traits as a result. Universal memory as archetypes are very similar to personal memory as whole realities or experiences that are complete with qualities, characteristics, personality traits, emotions, thoughts, meaning, roles and identity, and behavioral dynamics that naturally lend themselves to telling certain types of stories. They are the complete ingredients necessary not only for creating a personal inner reality, but also an analogous experience of the same type of outer reality. How we experience something is what forms the basis for creating a memory out of it as a union between the inner imagined reality, and the outer equivalent, that together allow us to experience the inward born idea outside of ourselves as an inherent part of our environment and we get a “sense of ourselves” within and as an intimate part of that idea, and it forms into a personal memory that serves to shape us. We’re always using universal memory to create our experience of reality, and create ourselves by way of those experiences.

       Because all of life is a coherent part of the same universal memory as the collective unconscious, whatever archetypal memory we resonate with we act to draw into our mind and imagination, and “become one with it in mind and spirit”, tuning ourselves to it by taking on the same qualities and personality traits, and we simultaneously connect with those same qualities and ideas in everything around us. As we change our inner constitution, our outer experience of ourselves changes accordingly. As we incorporate and integrate ideas into our mental paradigm, we form a natural relationship with that same idea in everything outside of us. Once an idea and way of being becomes a natural part of our inner being it also becomes a natural part of our outer world as our unified experience of our self. The inner and outer worlds exist as complementary opposites of each other, which means that if you change one, the other one changes automatically to match it. We’re always connecting to and forming a relationship with ourselves as our inner nature in everything around us and creating an experience through the unification of the inner and outer that becomes an inherent part of us as our soul’s memory. We’re always borrowing from the universal as a means of creating our self as an individual.

All creation comes by way of what’s called the primary “3 in 1” Law of the Trinity. Every single entity is comprised of two complementary opposites that work together to produce a third entity as a functional, unified whole. The material mind also exists as complementary aspects of the subconscious (inner self) and self-conscious (outer awareness of self), which work together to produce an offspring as a unified reality that’s a fundamental part of both. Each aspect of a whole acts to emanate and give rise to the other. While we tend to think of the self-conscious mind as being of a different nature and function as the subconscious mind, it’s actually a complementary aspect of the subconscious which is what gave birth to it. The true conscious mind, which is that aspect of us that we commonly call our Higher Self, is the unification of both the subconscious and self-conscious in an exalted state as a single entity on a higher plane, and is actually the aspect of the mind that operates as “Will” within the lower mind.

The self, like the mind and soul, is threefold in nature and exists simultaneously as three aspects on three parallel planes that function together to produce a unified whole as a cohesive reality. Within each plane, the single aspect of the self within that plane exists in a dual state of polarity as complementary opposites of itself, forming a triad. The Higher Self is what we call the human soul of the middle plane that acts as a medium between the Oversoul and the lower soul, and when manifesting in the lower plane of material existence, also separates into dual and complementary aspects of itself, and emanates the subconscious mind which acts to form and give life to the material body as it’s vehicle, contains the self-conscious aspect of the mind in its potential and latent state. After a period of gestation, this aspect of the mind is then birthed by the subconscious through a natural growth process as it’s complementary opposite. This idea is represented metaphorically as the “Madonna (Mother) and male child” as her divinely conceived offspring. The subconscious mind is the direct emanation of the Higher Soul and is formed out of the memory of all incarnations as an accumulation of integrated experiences to form a summation as our personality.

       The self-conscious mind, which is what most people think of as “the” mind, is birthed and exists solely within the material body as our outer awareness and what we think of as “brain consciousness”. The self-conscious is the masculine offspring as “self-awareness” that’s based exclusively on the body and current life conditions of the body, forms what we refer to as the “ego” as our soul’s identification with the body and the material world. Naturally, because this identity or sense of self is formed entirely within the current incarnation and based on outer awareness of the self, it’s also the mortal part of us that dies with the body. As humans, we are both immortal and eternal and mortal and temporary.

While we tend to think that the self-conscious mind has the ability to generate its own consciousness and therefore has a “will of its own” as a personal will, it actually doesn’t. All material bodies only have the consciousness it acts as a vehicle and vessel for and is able to “draw in” from the Aether and assimilate through resonance. What it does have is the ability to discriminate and evaluate ideas, and is the aspect of the mind that chooses and selects what it focuses on and thinks about, and thereby becomes one with producing a form of “seed” for the subconscious mind to produce inwardly by imagining it as a possible reality that it then uses to give birth to an outer reality of the same nature. This is the aspect of the mind that acts as the gatekeeper to the subconscious through its ability to discriminate and select what it “let’s in” to the womb of the subconscious, and what it rejects and keeps out by withdrawing attention from it.

The self-conscious is the aspect of the mind that forms conscious thoughts and internal dialogue that works together with the subconscious mind to manifest both an internal reality and external reality of the same nature and likeness. There’s always a fundamental paradox at work in everything as the feminine and masculine qualities that operate as complementary opposites, because while we consider the subconscious to be our “inner self” and internal nature, it’s also what produces and gives birth to the “outer world” as an extension, projection, and equivalent of itself as a kind of metaphorical theme. And while we say that the self-conscious mind is our awareness of the outer world, it produces the thoughts and internal dialogue we experience as our inner nature, and is what acts to witness the outer world of which it provided the seed of the subconscious mind for creating.

       Whenever someone is unaware of the multiple aspects of their mind and self (which are most people), and how these various aspects operate together to produce a unified whole as a cohesive inner and outer experience of reality, their self-conscious mind of thought tends to be run almost entirely by their subconscious mind, which operates exclusively out of memory of some form, and is habitual and repetitive in nature. When we remain in a primary state of unconsciousness, unaware of our true capacity for creating in an original manner, most of our thinking is repetitive and based on memory. When this happens our thoughts appear random, sporadic, compulsive in nature, lack meaning and a sense of coherence, and are constant. We simply replay the same type of thoughts as memory over and over like a broken record. All of our thoughts are something we’ve been taught, heard, told by others, or of past experiences that are played out by applying them to current situations producing more of the same type of experiences as variations. The capacities of the self-conscious mind as the ability to select, focus attention, and form thoughts, which together produce a seed for impregnating the subconscious imagination with brand new ideas for creating in an original and unique manner, exists for the most part in an unconscious state and uses its creative ability instead to merely focus on memories of the past and create more of the same type of experiences over and over.

The Higher mind of the human soul has the ability to truly create by choosing and drawing in universal memory of archetypes as qualities and characteristics that naturally forms an idea as a material form. It then willfully projects the archetype into the subconscious mind in the form of a memory that seeds it with a new pattern for creating on different scales within the material plane as both an inner and outer reality. The idea, once drawn in and conceived by the subconscious is reflected in the imagination as  a mental impression that the self-conscious mind witnesses in a passive manner as an inspired thought that comes to it out of nowhere. The self-conscious mind evaluates it and has the option to either choose it by continuing to think about it, or to reject it by saying no and withdrawing attention from it. When the self-conscious selects and continues thinking about the idea, fashioning it as a possible outer reality, it adapts and modifies it by defining it with details and sensory attributes into a new variation as a unique and personalized version.

This unique adapted version of a universal archetype is then concentrated on by continuing to think about, and it acts to re-seed the subconscious mind with a new version of the same idea, as a form of virtual memory that it can easily use to create both an inner and outer reality as the experience of the idea that becomes the basis of an “actual memory”, that serves to shape all three aspects of the self and soul at once. All actual creation (of brand new ideas) within the material world comes as a form of feedback loop that undergoes a transformative process of adaptation and modification between the Higher Self and the lower self, and between the higher and lower planes. This is symbolically represented by the Hexagram as interlaced triangles (a triangle represents the 3-fold nature of the mind) oriented in different directions (star of David) of higher to lower and lower to higher, as in the axiom “as above, so below, and as below, so above, in the manifestation of the One thing”.

       This creative process is also illustrated in the Tetragrammaton or Tetrad, as the four letter name of God, as will, intellect, feeling, and the manifestation of will. This process forms the symbolic basis for the four Elements of the material plane as fire (will), air (thought), water (sensation), and earth (manifestation). Naturally, there are only really two true Elements, that of fire (Higher Will that injects the archetypal idea) and water (subconscious conceives and reflects it), which together in a unified state produce air (thought as form) and its denser version of earth as it’s material manifestation or outer reflection.

Spirit as the Life-Power is always represented as air and breath, which is the unification of the feminine and masculine principles that form a functional whole. Together they work as a single entity. We inhale the outer, integrating and assimilating it into our molecular structure, then exhale infusing the outer reality with the molecules of our inner structure. There’s always a mutual exchange going on between the inner and outer, between the individual self and it’s greater self as the outer reality, which are comprised of the same substance. Will exists as the Higher, creative Soul that operates in dual aspects on the lower, more dense plane as intellect and feeling sensation that together form a unified whole as the etheric body or holographic blueprint as an inner imagined reality that produces the outer world as a material manifestation. Whatever we focus on and think about with emotional intensity forms a kind of request as a command to the Will of the Higher Self, which acts in a neutral and unbiased fashion to create it as an outer experience.

When we reside in a primarily unconscious state, we have no real awareness of our subconscious mind or our higher consciousness, and imagine the thoughts they produce and reflect in the mind as novel thought-forms to be our own willful creation. Yet because the self-conscious aspect has to choose the thoughts given to it by the Higher Mind (usually as a form of guidance or answer to an inquiry) and use its ability to develop them by continuing to think about and concentrate on them, it often doesn’t, and as a result they’re never allowed to take hold, and it reverts back instead to its redundant habitual way of thinking. Whenever the self-conscious rejects an idea and doesn’t allow it to be developed and grown in the imagination to fruition, it doesn’t act to use the idea to seed the subconscious, and it never manifests as part of its outer reality. This is often what happens when we ask for guidance from our Higher Self and when an idea comes to us intuitively in response to our request, we evaluate it momentarily to decide whether we like it or not, and if we don’t, we say “nope, this isn’t it”, usually because it didn’t show up the way we wanted it to. Then we go right back to asking for more guidance.

       Part of the problem many have is they have trouble telling the difference between ideas conceived from the Higher Mind and ideas received through the willful actions of others. The subconscious mind acts as the womb for any suggestion that’s allowed in and to take hold by the self-conscious mind. Whatever we give our attention to while in a passive state without discriminating or evaluating, and readily engage in by becoming a part of it and continuing to think about it, becomes a natural part of our thoughts and our perception of reality. This is most prevalent through various forms of entertainment and passive engagement where we surrender all resistance to the ideas we’re being fed and relinquish the need to discern them intuitively for meaning and accuracy, and as a result, they become a part of our natural thoughts and we think about them in a random and habitual manner. Usually without having any idea of what’s actually going on. Our mind is constantly accessing memory through association of various sorts. This is why songs frequently pop into our head out of nowhere and plays over and over, we imagine a scene in a movie we watched years ago, we think about the news we heard two days ago, we process the ideas of an article that we read over and over, and so on.

We all have the ability to self-create through our ability to choose or select ideas, then develop them by concentrating on them until we form them in our mind as a full, intense sensory reality that gives us an experience that develops them into an imaginary memory that impregnates the subconscious mind where it then becomes a natural part of our behaviors and outer reality, producing an experience of it as an analogy. We can likewise choose to actively develop qualities and characteristics that are latent within us as a means of self-development that evolves us to higher states of being. The ultimate goal of our higher soul is to achieve a state of self-perfection as a form of completion that actively utilizes all of our potential as the basis of being and creating. Who we become in our life is always a matter of choice and what it is we choose to give our attention to and concentrate on by thinking about repetitively. Whatever we choose to think about and create as an imaginary reality and life-like scenario, we impregnate our subconscious with as a pattern for producing as an experience through our activities.

The subconscious, once given an idea as an actual possibility for reality, begins taking action on it while connecting to that same idea in the greater subconscious mind of the material world as a primary form of telepathy or mental transmission. This is the same way instinct and intuition works.  A well-developed idea formed out of energetic essence in the imagination becomes magnetic and acts as a passive vehicle and receptor for electric energy of a complementary nature. It forms an organized pattern of primal matter (light essence) that becomes a holographic blueprint for creating that attracts and “draws in” consciousness as vibration that brings it to life through activity. All material form, whether imagined or actual, provides a kind of empty shell for consciousness to ensoul and bring to life as a vibratory frequency. Just as all frequencies have a pattern in it and a self-organizing force, all patterns as organized matter forms a frequency.  As an idea comes to life inside of us as a living form infused with strong emotions, and attracts and emanates an electromagnetic field, which are the natural forces of the mind that shapes matter as light-essence into material forms that serves as a vehicle for consciousness to express through, it acts to “vibrate” at a certain frequency that vibrates that same idea in everything else through sympathetic resonance, and reorganizes how the outer world “appears” as a composition to be analogous to the inner one. Matter only becomes organized into a fixed form when it’s being “observed” by a mind. When not being observed, it returns to a state of pure potential as a fluctuating field of information.

       All vibration has both a pattern as a living form inherent in it and a self-organizing force that shapes matter into the form of the pattern. How something functions is based on its energetic structure. Form always indicates the behavior, function and natural operations and activity the form takes on. As we think about and form an idea in our mind as a well-defined sensory reality coupled with a strong emotion that produces an inner experience of it as the “meaning” it has, we literally become “one with that idea in spirit” and we tune ourselves to its vibration. Our vibratory frequency is based on our emotional thoughts and what memories we live out of. All vibration as a pattern for producing life act to structure the same type of pattern on all scales and levels simultaneously as both an inner and outer, and an upper and lower, that function together as a unified whole or cohesive and coherent reality of the same nature. Whatever we think about and imagine with intensity we are “literally” creating as our life experiences and creating ourselves by way of those experiences.

When we begin waking up from our unconscious state and begin realizing how our own mind is operating on many different levels to create our entire material existence, we consciously move out of creating through repetitive patterns of past memories, and we can begin to intentionally determine what we focus on, give out attention to, and concentrate on instead. We can begin choosing who and how we’re going to be by intentionally embodying new qualities and characteristics as new ways of being that serve to transform us and our experiences of our self within a corresponding outer reality. We can begin realizing our full potential as a creator and begin acting on ourselves to intentionally create ourselves. We can learn how to consciously direct our attention into ideas that we want to become one as the means of self-creating. We can mentally blend only with ideas we want to become a part of our self and our experience of our self as our outer reality. We can begin using our mind the way it’s designed to be used to create ourselves as a higher, perfected, and glorified being.

Once we begin using universal ideas and archetypal memories born out of our true nature as the means of creating ourselves, we can begin vibrating at a higher level of consciousness that resonates with our Higher Self instead of our lower, unconscious, desire and impulsively driven self. When we strive towards self-perfection as the means of self-creation of our highest potential, we become aware of who and what we’re blending with energetically, and we tend to become steadily isolated from others because very few people are engaged in the same creative process in the same way or at the same level as we are. This is why the spiritual Adept and Initiate are symbolically portrayed as a Hermit. Higher consciousness is the awareness of the true self and the true nature of reality. Consciousness is the root and foundation of all physical manifestation. We are always the one creating our self and our experience of the outer world as a projection and correspondence to our inner world. All reality as we know it is formed out of our relationship with ourselves in everything else.

        From a purely psychological perspective, this is the state of being as the awareness that all volition is universal in nature, not personal. Whatever we choose to think about and become one with is brought into fruition through our Higher Will, which acts as a form of neutral force for creating whatever we ask for and have a predisposition for as an unconscious state that creates out of memory of the past. It’s the realization that the idea of “personal will” originating in the animal body as a function of the personality is an illusion. The material body, like all creatures of the animal kingdom is driven by instinct that comes as intuition and has no consciousness or creative will of its own, but merely acts as the vehicle of expression for the Will of the Higher Soul.

Because the intelligence of the Higher Will works through the intelligence of the lower mind and body, it creates the illusion of being the outcome of a personal effort and aspiration, while in reality it’s simply the final stage as the outcome of work initiated and carried out by the Life-Power Itself. The Great Truth is that the “heavenly man” (Archetypal Man) reproduces himself in the “earthly man”, symbolized by the archetypal “ideal” man of Adam Kadmon (Adam of the Bible), also called the “microcosm”. The Microcosm is a direct reflection of the Macrocosm on a smaller scale and plane because it’s comprised of and operates according to the same laws and principles. In this idea we find the truth hidden as a clue of the spiritual doctrine of the Christ as being “begotten, and not made”. Who was also described as being “in this world but not of it”. We find the meaning of Christ’s words when he said “of myself I am nothing, all power comes from my Father”. We are a reproduction of an original source and not created by our own hand. What we perceive as our physical make-up and concrete mind is but a vehicle and aspect of our higher source as our true nature.

All “original ideas” that are used to perfect the formation of our essential nature comes as a relationship with our immediate environment, what’s stimulated and brought out in us in response to it, and how we spontaneously develop as a result. The only thing that can be actively brought out in us is what’s there in latent form to begin with. We are never given something from another or from a source outside of us, nor do we ever acquire something we didn’t originally possess. The outer world only acts to stimulate, awaken and bring into an active state what exists in latent form within us that’s of the same universal nature. We perfect ourselves to a higher level of consciousness by overcoming emotionally driven instinctual tendencies and becoming aware and identified instead with our true Higher Self. Whatever we “choose” and give our attention to, we unite with in mind and become “like in nature”. By becoming aware of this natural process and choosing to focus exclusively on our Higher Nature, we perfect ourselves and transform into our Divine Nature, free of all internal conflict and indecision born out of an unconscious state.

Compassion – The Nature of Perception, Judgment and Self-Realization

While many people perceive compassion as an act or something you do, true compassion is the result of a state of mind that you embody as a way of perceiving others from a non-judgmental perspective. It’s the primary way we come to understand others by “understanding ourselves” in them. It’s an intuitive lens we look through that always seeks first to understand. We only truly love what we understand, and we only understand by being able to relate to that same idea in ourselves, which requires self-reflection. It’s bearing witness to someone else’s experience by looking at it through their eyes and as they are experiencing it, without the need or unconscious tendency to alter it through your judgment, and make it about you by correcting their perception, making it wrong or bad somehow (deeming your perspective more accurate and right), or reforming their experience by reliving it from your own perspective instead. Whatever state-of-mind as an attitude that we walk through life with determines our approach and how we “see” things, as well as how we interpret what we see to give it meaning, which is what shapes our experience of it. If we have an attitude of judging, of finding what’s wrong or bad about someone or something, then we “see in them” only what warrants judgment. Through our very “perception” of something as a quality of consciousness or way of being, we “stimulate and activate” that same quality in them, bringing it out in them through the nature of our interaction as a joint expression. We can only perceive in others what’s “in us”, because it’s our model that we’re looking through in order to form our experience of them. We never really perceive others or the outer objective reality as they actually exist apart from us, but rather as we remake them through our “experience of them”, that makes them “like us”.

 Mental Paradigm as Our Lens of Perception Our mental paradigm is constructed over many years through the incorporation of our values, beliefs, memories, preferences, temperament, etc., which together form a dynamic matrix that systematically produce our personal reality. Our personal reality is not the same as the objective reality we all share in common as a part of mass consciousness and the material world, but rather how we reformulate it through the lens of “meaning” that produces how we experience it as a personal creation. We reshape it through a process of resonance as natural selection that turns some aspects on (activates them making them stand out), while turning others off (recede and go unnoticed), where we only notice certain aspects, the ones that match our paradigm, while failing to recognize others altogether. By mentally enhancing, embellishing, or exaggerating selected aspects while downplaying others and leaving out others, we reform it to the same nature as we are as the testimony of our beliefs about it. We assign everything the same qualities as we ourselves possess by how we interpret them to give the ideas and behaviors being expressed meaning. The meaning we give things forms the story we tell ourselves about them and how we form our experience of them as a result. Each person creates a unique experience of the same idea, event, and set of circumstances, by filtering it through their mental model, conforming and reshaping it accordingly. This is the most fundamental act of resonance, sympathetic induction, and coherence as the primary law of the mind and vibration. As we begin resonating with something, we energetically blend with and “enter into it”, becoming one with it in mind, and by how we act to influence it, we alter it by forming a new vibration that’s a combination of both as a form of offspring, where both ideas begin vibrating in harmony with each other. The man made concept of right and wrong, and good and bad as our values forms the basis for our judgments and prejudices. In the natural world of instinct, all forces and powers simply exist as attributes and qualities that act to shape characteristics that form natural behaviors. The idea of right and wrong originated as an evaluation of what results as an expression of character that creates by producing phenomena of some sort. The fundamental appraisal of whether or not something is good or bad is usually based on whether it’s creative, constructive, and beneficial, or whether it’s chaotic, destructive, and harmful in some way. All qualities, regardless of their nature, are dual in nature and hold the potential of being good or bad based on the context in which they’re being used. All behavior is appropriate when employed under certain circumstances. Violence, when used in a destructive manner to violate, hurt, or kill for selfish reasons, would be judged (evaluated) as being bad or evil, whereas if that same act of violence was used to protect, defend, or carry out a necessary justice, it would considered good and divine in nature. Same act, different reason and context.

       Likewise, judgment itself is of a both good and correct nature, and a bad or incorrect nature, depending on how it’s being used. The mind is always using its ability to evaluate ideas and situations as the means of making decisions and acting that we call “using good judgment”. In these situations we employ an objective mindset that’s neutral and unbiased, where we openly perceive the nature of people and things involved, then make an evaluation based on what’s being demonstrated and observed, and make a decision accordingly. False judgment, the one most are referring to when they use the term “judgment”, comes as a form of prejudice that we employ beforehand and use as a lens that we look through that alters what we see to match our preconceived judgment of it. We walk into a situation with a preconceived idea or value that they themselves are not demonstrating outwardly, and we form an opinion of them based on the values we’re assigning to them, instead of the ones they actually possess, and use it as a means of interpreting their behaviors or experiences to mean what we want them to mean, rather than what they actually do mean. Compassion is to relinquish judgment all together and seek instead to only relate and understand. It’s to embody a primary “state of love” as communion. We can only truly love what we first understand. Whatever lens we use to look through, we vibrate at that frequency, and connect to that same frequency in others, stimulating it in them, bringing it out as an active state that then forms the basis of the interaction. We serve to naturally “call forth in others” whatever is actively expressing in us, not only through the nature of our interaction, but just through our “perception of them” as an energetic interaction of stimulus-response, and action that produces a like reaction. Whatever we place our attention on (gaze at), we stimulate and reformulate by awakening certain aspects, while returning other aspects to a latent state. Our consciousness interacts with the “same” consciousness in everything else. We’re always remaking others in our own image and with our own likeness. To be compassionate, or to more accurately embody a state of compassion, is to withhold all judgment and preconceived ideas and look upon others and the experiences their going through from “their” perspective, while relating to those same ideas in our own experiences, helping you to understand what they’re going through, or what process of realization they’re involved in. It’s to listen to them express how they’re experiencing something, what they’re contemplating, or how they’re stepping into and experimenting with an idea as a means of forming some kind of self-realization through it that will help make decisions based on it. All experience comes through experimentation of some kind that provides the basis for self-realization based on the decisions we make due to what we realize. As we experience something, we’re exploring, tapping into new aspects of ourselves stimulated and brought out through the experience, and learning about ourselves and growing as a result. We’re always learning about ourselves, others, and the way the world is through direct experience and making constant decisions about and for ourselves based on them. If we like how we feel, what we do, and who we become in a situation, we continue into it. And if we don’t, we stop it, avoid it in the future, and don’t act to repeat it. All experience is self-created and provides us with knowledge about ourselves that we use to create ourselves through choice and free will.

        As we enter into relationship with another, and bear witness to their experiences by listening to them as things were for them, while simultaneously tuning into and touching on our own experiences of a similar nature, we relate to them, and by relating to them we understand where they’re at in their learning process. We can understand what part of the process they’re in and maneuvering as a way of creating themselves by way of their own evaluation and interpretation. We can realize that same act in ourselves, and how we formed conclusions based on the same type of idea, while realizing and honoring the fact that they may form an entirely different conclusion, and simply being with them in that process, while gaining a whole new way of perceiving it. By sharing in another person’s experience while relinquishing the need to be right or more correct, and therefore modifying it, we fully engage in it as an imaginary journey that has something else entirely different to show us about new and unexplored possibilities. Through the practice of witnessing, which is to act as a passive observer and neutral mirror for someone else’s experience by listening intently while imagining it from their perspective as it is or was for them, without changing it through our own values and beliefs (judgments), or commenting on it in any way, we not only help the other person to gain deeper realizations into the lessons of their own experiences, but we also gain the experience as a form of lesson or self-realization for ourselves by way of their experience. We’re offered the lesson without having to live it ourselves, but rather through the experience the “telling” provides, and how we merge into and relate to the experience. When we become one with another by sharing in their experiences, we acquire many more lessons that bring new and varied realizations that serve to naturally shape us through the acquisition. Whenever we listen to someone else tell their story, or we see them in a particular situation, and we remove all judgment, we tune into that part of ourselves that have had similar experiences or events, where we’ve been in a similar situation, and had the same type of thing happen to us, and we can relate and understand what they’re going through, and we can respond or interact in kind. When we look through the eyes of judgment, we still tap into that part of us that had a similar experience or was in a similar situation, that we deny having and therefore repress and don’t own it, because we judged ourselves while in that situation the same way we’re now judging someone else. Value judgment, for the most part is “taught”, and we usually grow up judging others in the same way we were judged. We literally “do unto others as it was done unto us”. Just as we were taught to feel bad about something we did, or see ourselves as a bad person for being that way or doing what we did, we disown those parts of ourselves, pretending and convincing ourselves were not that way, while building them into our mental model as a filtering system that we look through and project onto others, seeing those same behaviors and judgments in them.

       When we’re judged we’re literally being given the criterion and means for making judgments of other as an interpretation of “this means that”. Whenever someone does this or participates in that, it means this about them, and we perceive them through our judgments just as we were perceived by others who were judging us. We’re not only taught to judge as a fundamental way of perceiving, but given the criterion as our means of applying values that draw natural and consistent conclusions. Because this training comes as part of our formative conditioning and is developed as a subconscious process that forms our fundamental way of perceiving the world, we usually don’t even realize that’s what we’re doing. In this way, all value judgments, in their most basic sense, are a form of self-creating out of an unconscious state of learned behavior. We often think judgments are the observation of an objective reality secured by a set of “golden rules’. We imagine that these values and rules are fact and true, rather than what they really are, which is something we made up or was trained to by the opinion of others and formed an agreement around by accepting them as our own. We’re given our values and ways of perceiving as behavioral dynamics through our childhood conditioning that we continue creating out of throughout our adult life. The inner child, so to speak, becomes the adult. However we’ve been trained up to the age of seven or eight becomes the core beliefs and mental model that we continue perceiving and creating out of the rest of our life in a natural and automatic manner.

Practicing Self-Awareness and Realization There are several practices that you can routinely employ as a means of not only gaining self-awareness of what you’re actually doing in any situation, but also as a primary means of cultivating compassion. In any situation where you realize you’re forming a judgment of someone, regardless of what it is (remove all concepts of right and wrong), catch yourself, and turn inward instead and self-reflect. Ask yourself, have I had any experiences of a similar nature? Have I been in a similar situation? Did I explore the same idea at some point in my life? Tap into the same idea in yourself, in your own experience, and use it to relate to them. Give up the need for them to experience it in the same way that you did, or draw the same conclusions based on the same values and make the same decisions, and simply use it to understand where they’re at and what they’re going through as a lesson. Ask yourself . . . am I prone to the same thing? Have I explored and experimented with the same idea? Could this same type of thing happen to me? As you tap into and touch on that same aspect in yourself, you have the means of relating to them, and understanding them as a result. You have to be honest with yourself and not see the conclusions you drew or decisions you made because of your experiences of the same nature as the means of denying ever having them. Or the idea that if you admit it, even to yourself, that it’ll mean something bad about you (usually the same thing you’re judging the other person with). Many times we judge others as being bad or wrong somehow due to experiences we’ve never had, so of course it’s difficult for us to relate or truly understand, and if we ever do find ourselves in a similar situation, rather than understanding, we usually condemn ourselves in the same manner we’re now condemning them. If instead, we put ourselves in the same situation, by imagining the same thing happening to us, or listening to their story and experiencing it as it was for them, we gain an understanding of them and ourselves at the same time. We can relate to how they feel, and feel a sense of compassion towards them as a result. By living out experiences with others, we gain insights into ourselves “through” them. We’re afforded the lesson without having to have the actual experience. This is the value of stories, folklore, and myths; we get to learn through someone else’s experience. Nowadays we get much the same thing out of watching movies and reading novels.

Summary: Whatever state of mind we possess and cultivate at any given moment, become our perceptual lens, and we only “see” in everyone and everything what matches it. If we look through the lens of judgment, we see only what warrants judgment, and we remain disconnected from those same aspects in ourselves. As we judge others, we simultaneously judge ourselves in the same manner. We shape ourselves and others according to our judgments. All perception is projection. We’re only capable of seeing in others what exists in us. If we look through the eyes of reverence and compassion, we likewise, only see what warrants that. When we go into any relationship or situation with an attitude of understanding, we “connect with others” at an entirely different level, and connect with and touch on those same ideas and qualities within ourselves, learning about ourselves in a new way. Just as we form an understanding of others, and see them as they really are when we relinquish judgment, we come to understand and truly know ourselves to the same degree. Through understanding and compassion towards others and ourselves, we form a natural love for them and ourselves. We can only truly love what we understand and relate to, because all love comes only through union with ourselves in others. We can only love others to the same extent that we love ourselves. Mastering your Will to Create and Transform

Many people don’t fully understand what we mean when we use the term “will”, and as a result they don’t know how to use it in a deliberate and powerful way to create. Will is always associated to choice, because anytime we’re actually using our will , it’s to move out of conditioning and automatic, habitual tendencies that we do naturally, and create in a new and more individual way instead. When we’re trained to belief systems and certain mind-sets as “group consciousness” of some form, we’re actually lending our will to others and allowing them to shape and determine us as a result. Our will isn’t our ability to “resist” things or not give in to passions, pleasure, desires, or cravings of some kind through an act of sheer strength and willpower, but rather our ability to decide on what we want to be and do, and use our imagination to form the correct “internal representation” (IR) of ideas that either make them repulsive and disgusting, or desirable and attractive.

While we tend to think that things have power over us in the same sense that they’re dictating our experience and how we respond as a result, the fact is that we shape the outer world into an internal representation (IR) that we then use in place of the actual thing or activity as a way of experiencing it. As we think about something we’re associating other ideas with it, and using our “sensory system” to embellish it with sensory qualities that invoke emotional states. An idea that’s turned into an internal reality that serves to elicit strong emotions in response to it are how we’re using our will all the time to direct our own behavior and what we participate in by desiring and becoming one with it; as well as what we don’t because we find it unappealing for some reason. If we’ve made a decision to stop doing something, and we constantly struggle to resist it and create an experience of suffering because we’re abstaining from it, it’s because we haven’t learned how to use our higher mind to direct ourselves, and we’re using it incorrectly as a result.

The body, which is what we also refer to as the subconscious mind, because it inhabits and operates it, is operated by memory, and forms all of our natural behaviors as repetitive patterns and daily rituals and tendencies. The subconscious “thinks” in pictures and is experiential in nature. This means we communicate with it and act to program it with a form of virtual memory by imagining ideas as an experience of them. Its primary motive is “self-preservation”, so all of its impulses as feeling emotional states are geared towards maintaining the status quo and habits engaged in on a routine basis. It’s primarily instinctual in nature and motivated by pleasure or pain. It moves deeper into and seeks out whatever it deems pleasurable, and moves away from or avoids whatever it deems painful. It forms, firmly establishes and faithfully maintains habits and addictions, and is nearly always craving and wanting something. All of its needs are physical and material in nature and it works and is driven by emotions, making it impulsive and urge oriented. When it doesn’t get what it “needs and desires” it causes pain and suffering through emotions and physical withdrawals, which is experienced as a form of death (no longer able to sustain itself through that activity).

The subconscious mind is the creative aspect of the mind that’s capable of shaping and producing material realities, both inwardly and outwardly. It does this by turning a feeling or idea into a reality in the faculty of the imagination. Being memory oriented, it acts to create our memories from actual experiences, replaying them as a means of continuing to create by way of them, and as the means of being fed an idea as a form of “seeded thought” that it then fashions into a reality as a form of virtual memory. The imagined idea as an original creation is formed and appears in the imagination in exactly the same way as an actual memory does. This virtual memory as an internal representation of an idea operates in exactly the same way as an actual memory creating a kind of blueprint or template as an internal experience that forms the basis for the correlating external experiences of the same kind.

This “virtual memory” is an image, scenario, or movie-like idea that’s translucent (like a reflection on glass) in nature (can be seen fully while looking at something else), and becomes our perceptual lens as a filtering mechanism that reorganizes the elements of our outer reality to match the theme and emotions of the inner one. The IR becomes a kind of template or map for structuring and navigating the outer experience. Because of this tendency to “perceive out of memory and IR’s”, we never directly see or experience things as they actually are (a part from us), but rather as we “remake them” through our perception of them. This perception based on or produced by an IR or memory, works through the same principles as value judgments and either makes something appear desirable, likeable, and pleasurable, or undesirable, despicable and unappealing, or disgusting somehow.

When we decide and say we’re no longer going to do something, but we continue to form it in our mind as pleasurable and desirable, we struggle to resist it and continue to want it. We make giving it up a painful experience and the longing for it never goes away, so we’re always “tempted” by it. If instead, realizing how the mind works, we change the IR we’re forming into something that’s disgusting, repulsive, and painful, then we have no trouble resisting it, and thoughts of it eventually go away altogether. When we no longer think about it, it’s no longer a part of us and it exercises no control over us. This is the accurate use of the will – to make a decision to take control of what’s normally and unconscious process, and inject instead the idea we want to create in its place – then change the IR of what we’re stopping or looking to transform, while embellishing and enhancing the IR of the new idea we’re replacing it with.

Internal Representations, like reality itself are formed through sensory attributes, qualities, and characteristics that either makes it up-close, in vivid color and compelling, or far-away, black and white and neutral. If we make something up-close, immediate, full Technicolor, and create it as a full sensory experience of what you’re seeing, hearing, feeling, touching, smelling or tasting, and what you’re telling yourself about the experience that gives it meaning, and you create it with very positive emotions that make it pleasurable and beautiful, you create a strong desire for it. This gives your subconscious a very compelling “memory” that it steadily move towards and into, while seeking it out and connecting with that same idea in your immediate outer environment. If you then neutralize the current idea that you want to eliminate by turning it to black and white, pushing it out far into the distance so it seems far away, and assign negative sensory qualities and emotions to it, the subconscious, being given a more desirable alternative forgets about it, moves away from or avoids the old, eventually disconnecting from it all together outwardly, and moves instead into the fulfillment of the new and pleasurable idea.

The will is the active component of the conscious mind that can make new decisions that are not a part of its formative conditioning and habitual in nature, and can rule out one idea while replacing it with another. It impregnates the subconscious imagination with the seed as a unique idea that is then grown and formed into maturity in the imagination and manifests as an experience that bridges the inner with the outer, both of which are the creation of the subconscious mind as its offspring. The subconscious mind, when not being fed by its own personal will as an intentional idea for creating, absorbs instead the will of others as mental and emotional impressions or suggestions going on around it that it uses to generate thoughts in the imagination, and not only creates the individual (mind and body) according to those thoughts, but also creates the outer experience of those thoughts as its reality.

Anytime we passively take in an idea from outside of us (thoughts of another), and we form them into IR’s as a virtual reality, and make them our own by continuing to think about them, we’re choosing (unconsciously) to manifest and give life to the will of others through us. We’re literally lending our will to them, allowing them to determine us and the reality we experience as the perceptual lens we look through. The conscious, willful mind, is what’s traditionally called the “gate-keeper”, and is the aspect of the self that decides what’s allowed into the subconscious and what’s not. It analyzes, intuits, and evaluates the information to decide whether it’s true or not, valuable in some way, or would be beneficial as a means of upgrading the mental paradigm by incorporating it. It’s the “editor” that filters information through reasoning. It’s the part of our selves that’s always actively choosing even when we’re unaware (no choice is a choice) and decides what stays and what goes. It’s the aspect of the mind that has the ability to intentionally self-create through the active transformation of old ideas into new ones.
