How we unknowingly act as the means for Promoting Mass Propaganda

There’s always a very fundamental form of paradox playing out in terms of what we focus on and think about, and what we act to participate in co-creating as a result. In reality, there’s no such thing as “fighting against” something as a means of creating its opposite or what acts as a solution that’s designed to remedy it somehow. The “war against drugs” campaign only acted to produce more drug use. MADD – mother against drunk drivers – only produced more drunk drivers. Horror stories that saturated the media of “leaking breast implants” caused an enormous surge in women who opted for fake breasts.

Whenever we act to promote and distribute what we “oppose” and are trying to resolve or eliminate, we’re actually acting to co-create and expand. This is because we fail to understand the most basic principle of our own mind and how it operates to produce reality. As a general rule, whatever we focus on with emotional intensity of any kind, good or bad, we steadily move into, produce behaviors out of, and act to create more experiences of the same nature. Whatever we “think about” in a consistent manner we develop into a detailed reality in our mind, and it becomes a kind of “creative directive” for our subconscious to connect with in the outer environment and create more of.

While we can think we’re acting to “inform” and make people aware of the problems, what we may be actually doing is acting as a form of “distribution mechanism” that promotes and propagates the very idea we’re “against”. By looking at the laws governing our own mind, we can come to realize how it works and begin using it in a natural and productive way to create in a more conscious and deliberate manner.

The Relationship of Complementary Opposites

Our material mind has two basic components – the subconscious and self-conscious – that work in tandem with each other to produce what we experience as a unified reality. While many have very little actual awareness of their subconscious (commonly called the “unconscious” mind), it’s actually the powerhouse of the two, especially in terms of producing realities as an experience. The subconscious is what we can think of as the feminine aspect of the mind that’s seeded by the masculine aspect of the self-aware mind, and together produce a consistent experience of both self and the reality of the self.

The self-conscious mind is the aspect most are aware of and is what forms all of our perceptions as an awareness of the outer world (which is actually produced by the subconscious), and forms an “interpretation” of all outer events to give them meaning. The self-conscious is the aspect that possesses the power of choice and selects what we focus on, think about, and make conscious decisions about what to do and what not to do. It has the ability to reason and evaluate ideas and situations, and forms interpretations in terms of what’s good or bad, right or wrong, and plays out the scenarios produced by possible decisions to see what their consequences would be as the means of making intelligent decisions. This is what we call the active component that acts as the “gatekeeper” for the subconscious, which is the passive component, and acts to “seed” the subconscious with whatever it decides it “wants” to create.

The subconscious is the passive and receptive (feminine) aspect that lacks the ability to analyze and make decisions, or evaluate the moral nature of things. It doesn’t work out of ideas of right and wrong, and simply takes whatever idea the self-conscious (masculine) “gives it” by concentrating and dwelling in it repeatedly. The subconscious gives an idea life by magnetizing it (animal magnetism) and causing it to begin vibrating as a frequency that has the idea as a pattern inherent in it, along with a self-organizing mechanism that acts to organize all information available outside of us into the same metaphorical pattern. This forms what’s referred to as the “Law of Attraction”, which is more scientifically referred to as “resonance”.

The subconscious is “experiential” in nature (which means it doesn’t think in abstract terms), and is “impregnated with ideas” that are thought about in detail and turned into a direct experience as the reality of the idea. It operates in an automatic and repetitive fashion through “memory” as an experience of reality that provides it with a form of template as a metaphor for producing a consistent experience of reality. Because an actual memory and an imagined experience are both produced in the same way by “imagining them” (turning ideas into internal representations), it doesn’t know the difference (can’t discriminate and logically evaluate) between an actual memory and an imagined one, and uses them equally to produce corresponding realities of the same nature and kind.

The subconscious is emotionally driven and readily takes in any strong emotional charge being transmitted and projected and shapes it into a possible reality in the imagination by referencing memories of the same emotion. All of what we can think of as our “actual life memories”, the ones that can easily be recalled and are used in a continuous fashion to create more life experiences of the same nature, was all formed out of events that produced a strong emotion. They were the events that had a strong impact on us in some way.

Memories are used by the subconscious to produce instant perceptions, automatic behaviors as a reaction, and are referenced through association to emotional states. Whatever emotion is activated in us, determines what memories we access in reference to it, and what type of reaction we form. The way to produce a calculated behavior out of someone is by using the proper emotion that produces correlating and predictable behaviors. While the nature of the thought themselves are unique to each individual, emotions are universal and always produce the same “type” of behaviors.

 We work to influence any size group of people by choosing the idea we “want them to create” and attach a strong emotion to it in terms of how we “present it”, then amplifying it by sensationalizing it, talking about it (reporting) repeatedly, forming the idea as a reality in their mind. Whatever image we form in our imagination that’s attached to a strong emotion is the “seed” as a directive for the subconscious to produce “more of” as an experience. You can’t form an idea in the imagination of the subconscious, and then tell it “not to think about it”. It doesn’t have the ability to decide. The emotional image itself “is” the directive for creating as a reality. The “sensory reality” is the seed of creation.

The sensationalized idea forms filters as a perceptual lens that filters out everything that’s of a different nature, so that we only perceive around us what’s of the same reality as the one we gave it by imagining it with intensity. In this way it orders all information as possibilities in the outer world to match the inner one. While we have a tendency to think that the outer reality is separate from us and apart from our inner thoughts and imaginings, they’re actually an “extension” of each other. The outer world is produced as a projection of the inner world as our perception. Reality as we can know it only exists through our ability to perceive it. We reshape all matter to be of the same nature (inner) and likeness (metaphorical idea) as we are.

When news articles, scientific studies, videos, movies, songs, etc., are produced that induce a feeling of fear, hatred, or moral disgust, they act as a “hook” for our attention, and the more graphic and sensationalized they are, the more we obsess over them. Once we focus on them and think about them by building them into a sensory reality, we can’t seem to stop thinking about them. By continuing to think about them with emotional intensity we literally program ourselves with them where they become a natural part of our memories. We can recall them with vivid clarity, and think about them in a random fashion based on association. Once an idea is planted in our mind, it becomes a natural part of our memory base that forms our perception of reality. Once we clearly “see it” and experience it internally, it becomes a fundamental part of reality itself.

While we think this is a good thing because it promotes awareness as to what’s “really going on” so that we can avoid it, stop it, or act to contradict it, what’s actually happening is we’re being conditioned to participate in creating that reality as a form of “mass consciousness” while playing a role in how it functions. We vibrate at that frequency and attract to us more realities of the same nature, while being drawn into them as a relationship that’s connected by the same emotional state. Our mind shapes realities and brings them to life inside as a vibratory frequency. All vibration has an idea as a pattern inherent in it.

All ideas have an emotion married to them that not only becomes a fundamental part of our reality, but we also “behave” in a way that validates it and participates in co-creating it. We act “unconsciously” to initiate, promote, increase, intensify, and produce more of it. We talk about it, interjecting it into the mind of others, who likewise picture it in their mind as a reality, and they begin cooperating in co-creating it with us. We then act to “share information”, post it on social media repeatedly, and distribute it through whatever networks we’re a part of, and it becomes an inherent part of mass consciousness as a joint and mutually created reality that we all share in common. We become their method of distributing propaganda, and the means through which it becomes real.

As we play a role in co-creating certain types of reality by actively programming our own subconscious with them, we begin identify with them by sensing ourselves within that reality. Any event that seems to be happening on a mass scale usually gives us a feeling of having no power to “fight against” it or oppose it by resisting it, and tends to leave us feeling powerless and hopeless as a result. Once we feel hopeless to change things, we become a victim, and succumb to them by giving up and conforming. We comply and allow them to control and regulate us by lending them our will to create their desired reality. We readily absorb, adapt to, and become a part of the reality they present us with. We act to develop it into an actual reality as a belief that we then use to program our own subconscious by saying, here, give me more of this as an experience . . . and it does. The subconscious is a faithful servant of the willful mind, and gives birth to whatever it desires.

Learning to operate our own Mind and Will

When we learn how to use both aspects of our mind to skillfully create, we can act “on ourselves” to program ourselves with the reality we want to create. The analytical mind (self-conscious) can become aware of the “problem” and see the covert actions going on behind the scenes, and sense the true motivation behind them, without forming them into detailed emotional realities in the mind’s eye. We can detach from the emotion being used to present an idea, and tune instead to the “actual reality” as an objective and neutral event. It’s the “emotional content” that replaces objective reality with an illusion as a sensationalized idea that distorts it.

It’s the emotion that acts to control us and is the “formative” component that reshapes the actual event into an experience that acts to multiply, intensify, and produce more of the same type of emotion through the reality we create of it in our imagination. Fear paralyzes us, causes us to freeze and not take action, and we begin catering to the fear itself. Fear is one of the most powerful control mechanisms there are. Hatred causes us to form evil thoughts about each other that cause us to lash out, attack, and violently annihilate each other. It’s a very effective means of dividing and isolating whole sectors of the population, setting them against each other as enemies. It’s a strategic maneuver to “divide and conquer”, by getting us to kill each other.  

The self-conscious mind of outer awareness thinks and evaluates in objective terms that can conceptualize ideas in terms of what consequences they produce without distorting them with emotions. Once it “perceives” the objective reality in an idea, it uses that information to make a decision about it. Once it decides what action to take, or what reality would contradict and resolve the one it’s decided against, it then directs all attention to the reality it “wants” to create in its place.

It turns it into a vivid and detailed reality by imagining it as an actual reality that already exists. It embellishes it with intense sensory attributes that act to naturally invoke very positive and pleasure oriented emotions. It forms in the mind’s eye the solution to the problem, rather than the problem itself. Pleasure produces desire, and desire is a gravitational force that seeks to unite with the object of its desire. Pain, suffering, and stress cause us to repel, avoid, and move away from whatever is causing the pain. So solutions and whatever it is we want to create in an intentional manner must be presented in a way that’s pleasurable and enjoyable. Otherwise we avoid, push to the background, and don’t take action on the very thing we say we want.

As we focus on the desired reality we want to create while forming it in our imagination as a pleasurable and meaningful experience, we program ourselves unconsciously to produce an outer reality of the same type and kind. If we communicate that to others as an emotional expression, they form the same idea in their mind and embellish it with the same emotions and sensations, and begin serving to create it as a joint reality. If we share, re-post, write, describe, draw, and act as the means for transmitting the idea that counteracts and resolves the problem, at some point in time, the problem will no longer exist because we won’t be acting to create it. Mass reality is formed through a kind of “numbers game” as the “group mind”. All true power lies in numbers.

As we produce an idea as an imagined reality and embellish it with positive emotions, we begin taking steady action towards producing it. We begin gravitating towards it and move into it where it becomes a natural part of our outer experience. We use the complementary aspect of our own mind to produce the reality of our choice, rather than allowing ourselves to be used by others. We use the masculine aspect to protect and decide what’s allowed in and what’s kept out, as the means of impregnating the feminine aspect, which acts naturally to produce the physical reality of whatever it’s seeded with.

Just allow yourself to notice that whatever you focus on, think about with intensity, imagine as a sensory reality, talk about, communicate, and share as a post, you are acting as the means for transmitting and co-creating it. You become the channel through which an idea is made manifest. Whatever you align yourself with you become “like” in essence. Whatever emotions you cultivate by how you think and what you focus on becomes the nature of your experiences of reality that serve to give you more of the same emotion.

The rational, logical, reasoning, and analytical mind is the aspect that evaluates, measures, discriminates between right and wrong, and makes decisions that are void of emotion and sensation, and therefore not “based on an illusion”. Once it decides what to create, either through a calculated decision or through a process of natural selection, it then gives the idea to the subconscious as a full sensory reality that acts to naturally elicit the emotion that will determine the nature of the experience created. It will take the emotionally intense, imagined reality, project it outwards, and systematically produce it as a corresponding reality of the same nature, feeling, and emotion. Pay close attention to what you “allow” into your imagination and what emotions you give free reign to within you, because they will ultimately serve to determine you.

Self-Mastery: Mastering the Ability to Control and Direct your Thoughts and Attention

While knowledge as theory gives us the basis for practice, we only truly “learn” (live and earn) by bringing the knowledge into practice somehow in our daily life. We only truly know what we attain through direct experience and can willfully demonstrate as a part of our normal abilities and behavior. Conceptualizing something in a purely theoretical form while frequently contemplating or discussing it will have a tendency to explore and penetrate the deeper levels of an idea, but until we “become one with an idea” and experience it in a direct way by being it, we never actually acquire or own it. Knowledge that’s contemplated or studied but never applied is merely a form of entertainment or mental hobby.  Whenever we study something, we’re always using other people’s ideas and perhaps imagining them in our own way, but we only really know if something is true or produces what it claims to through the direct experience of it.

We have to always maintain a sense of equilibrium between the body, soul, and spirit by utilizing them simultaneously through an actual practice. One-sided training is not only unproductive, but it can cause an imbalance that can be destructive and produce undesirable effects. This is obvious in our modern day society’s tendency to try and educate without first teaching the ability to control compulsive, random thinking and the ability to concentrate without interruption from unwanted thoughts for an extended period of time. The only knowledge we truly maintain at the eternal level of the soul, which is our “nature” that forms our character, is what we build into our muscle by turning it into a habit that becomes a part of our natural behavior, way of perceiving, and daily lifestyle.

Applying knowledge not only requires the knowledge itself as a theory of some kind that gives you the means to start, but it also requires you to develop “qualities” that are necessary in applying it. Theory is the intellectual aspect, practice is the intuitive aspect as a process, and art is the manifestation as a result. While we think in materialistic terms that we’re acquiring the skill implied by the knowledge, from the soul perspective, which is always about “being”, it’s the qualities we have to employ and develop in order to apply it that’s the actual knowledge in energetic and intuitive terms as a form of soul conditioning. In all spiritual practices the most basic conditions for development are intention, diligence, patience, perseverance, concentration, and devotion. It’s comes as a love and desire for the knowledge by becoming one with it in spirit, mind (soul), and body. It requires diligence and a deep sense of utter devotion. While you can be kind, forgiving, and lenient towards others, you must develop an attitude of being studious, unrelenting, and pitiless on yourself. You have to exercise a stringent form of self-discipline in everything you do. Set high standards and expectations, and then push yourself to not only achieve them, but master them.

Only what’s practiced in a consistent and diligent manner becomes a habit. When something becomes a habit it arises in us naturally. It becomes a part of our natural tendencies in any given situation and forms our natural perception and behaviors. By building practices into our daily lifestyle as a part of our normal routine, we faithfully employ them and develop ourselves by way of them. Once we have become accustomed to a particular exercise, the urge for it comes naturally. It’s only when we begin doing something as a natural part of our being that we have actually “acquired it” as part of our souls memory which forms our inner nature. We have to always be disciplined and diligent in all our efforts in order to progress and thereby ascend.

The very first step in any form of spiritual development is controlling, disciplining, and mastering your thoughts. The mind has a tendency to wander constantly and operate out of autopilot most of the time. Our thoughts come so natural and automatic that even when we are disciplining ourselves, we’re often in the midst of a thought process before we even realize what we’re doing, and are able to bring ourselves back into a focused state. This is perfectly natural, and in the beginning, when first employing your will to direct and redirect your thoughts, it’ll be a constant process. However, like anything, the more you’re able to stay focused and continually realize and direct your thoughts, the easier and more natural it becomes. This is why patience and perseverance are required. So don’t let yourself become discouraged in the beginning when it can seem somewhat difficult.

In order to cultivate abilities, we need to start off with simple practices that  we perform two or three times a day for five to fifteen minutes at a time. It’s recommended to do these in a balanced way in the morning upon rising, midday when relaxing, and in the evening. Start off with small time frames of 5 minutes, then as you master them, gradually increase the amount of time you spend doing them to 10 minutes. Increase the frequency you do each in whatever way is appropriate according to your daily activities. Always start with small steps and only after you have mastered each step, work your way up. Each process must be mastered before moving on to the next, because the next step requires full use of the previous step which lays the foundation for it. We have to be able to use certain abilities in order to perform other abilities that are an extension or outgrowth of it.

Equilibrium of spirit (still), soul (will), and body (automatic) are always important to maintain and practice together because they ideally operate in a cohesive manner. The problem most have with controlling and directing their thoughts is that the lower mind of the body that produces a continuous stream of automatic and redundant thoughts has been allowed to run unchecked, while the willful mind of the soul has been greatly underused or ignored completely, and the still, empty mind of the spirit is something many feel they can’t actually achieve. This is due to developing in an unbalanced way with sole emphasis on the lower mind. For this reason, development that’s undertaken intentionally must always be conducted in a balanced way, exercising all 3 levels of the mind and body. So for this exercise, which is in 3 parts, we’ll work on developing the ability to observe or simply witness your own thoughts and bring them under control, discipline and direct your thoughts through concentration, and the ability to master your thoughts by stilling and emptying your mind of verbal thoughts altogether and entering into the experience of pure being.

Preparation for each step:  All exercises should be done in a private and quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed for 5 to 15 minutes, while in a fully relaxed position.  Don’t do them when feeling tired, as you must remain fully awake and aware throughout the process. Awareness is key. It may be a good idea to splash your face and upper body with cold water before you begin. Do not fall asleep during these exercises or they won’t be beneficial.

  • Sit or lay down with your body fully supported.
  • Close your eyes to block out distraction, and focus on the rhythm of your breathing. Let your mind enter into the rhythm.
  • Relax your entire body by setting the intention to relax, then mentally directing it to relax, and then feeling it relax.

Step 1) Thought Control

       This step allows you to begin gaining an awareness of thoughts that normally operate in a completely automatic and unconscious fashion. This is the habitual and compulsive aspect of the subconscious mind controlling the conscious and willful mind. Whatever we focus on and think about we become, and we act to create more of in our present situation. When thoughts are allowed to run in an unchecked manner, we lend our will to them and we create in our life in an unconscious manner. On the spiritual plane “thought is action”, and thoughts are how we create in the most fundamental sense on the material plane. So the first step to any form of conscious development is gaining control over our thoughts through self-awareness and being able to intentionally guide and determine our thoughts in a willful manner.

  • Allow a natural train of thought to form and spontaneously begin free-flowing. Make no attempt to control these thoughts, simply observe them to become aware of what they are.
  • Notice that most pertain to whatever is happening in your life at the moment, issues that have a strong emotional content, family or relationship issues, job related issues, whatever is weighing on your mind, and simply redundant meaningless thoughts that are purely habitual and automatic in nature.
  • When thoughts arise that tend to “pull you into them” where you begin dwelling in them, simply stop, pull your attention away, and allow them to continue in a free-flowing stream of thought while silently observing them from a detached perspective of not being “in them as a part of them”, but rather remaining free and independent of them, observing them from a distance watching them as they flow by, or as they rise and fall.
  • Don’t try to control your train of thought or lose sight of yourself by getting side-tracked and dwelling in any one thought, but simply observe them in as attentive way as possible gaining an awareness of them.
  • Be conscious of everything, and don’t try to hurry the exercise. Let it flow naturally while giving it your full attention.
  • You’ll notice that in the beginning you’re bombarded with thoughts in an almost chaotic manner as they quickly pass by. Pay close attention to them and try to remember them.
  • As you become aware of what normally operates as an unconscious and automatic process, you’ll also gain a natural form of control over it. Awareness itself brings a sense of control as the natural use of your will.
  • You’ll notice from one exercise to the next that these thoughts appear less chaotic and will gradually begin diminishing until only a few thoughts emerge in your consciousness as if coming from afar.

Practice this first step until you gain the ability to easily control your thoughts by becoming aware of them. Mastering this first step is critical to the development of all other steps. In all forms of self-development nothing is more important than gaining control over your thoughts and being able to direct them in a willful and intentional manner. Only move on to the next step when you have completed this step sufficiently and have mastered it.

2) Thought Discipline and Developing Concentration

       This step deals with being able to concentrate our thoughts without letting other thoughts obtrude. What usually prevents us from concentrating solely on one idea for an extended period of time is that other thoughts having to do with our daily chores and annoyances spontaneously arise and distract us away from what we were thinking about. We must learn how to avoid thoughts that do not belong in our personal life while only entertaining those that do, and in doing so, we’ll become a different person altogether. In this exercise we will develop our ability to be present in our daily life in a fully attentive manner, and be able to concentrate our mind solely on one idea for an extended period of time without interruption from unwanted and meaningless thoughts.

  • Pick an idea, subject, or concept and direct all of your attention into that thought alone. As you concentrate on it and other thoughts obtrusively arise, redirecting your attention in an automatic fashion, become aware of them, and then simply remove you attention from them and place it back on your chosen subject. Resist all distractions repeatedly until they begin subsiding and you no longer have a problem staying focused for extended periods of time by maintaining full control of your attention.
  • Move this same idea out into your daily life and apply it in a broader sense. Whatever it is that you’re doing, be fully present in it with your full attention on it, and anytime a distraction arises as a thought that doesn’t pertain to the moment, become aware of it, and redirect your attention back into your present situation.
  • Remain present in your daily situations and only allow thoughts that pertain to the moment or situation occupy your mind. Anytime thoughts of the past or another situation arise and steal your attention, realize it, and redirect your attention back into the moment.
  • When you’re at work, block out thoughts of your personal life and focus all of your attention on work. When you leave work and go home to your private life, leave all thoughts of work behind, and think only about what pertains to your private life. As thoughts of work arise while in your private life, become aware of them, and consciously redirect your attention back into your present situation.
  • The more you practice the ability to control your attention, the easier and more natural it becomes.

This practice when mastered will have a huge impact on all areas of your life, and will greatly improve your ability to enter into a truly creative mode. The only time we can actually create in our life in an intentional and meaningful manner is in the “present moment”. Do not move on to the next step until this one has been mastered. Each step is required in order to be able to achieve the next.

3)  Mastery of Thoughts and Residing in Eternal Peace

This step teaches you how to create a complete vacancy of mind that’s void of thought and fully present in your inner sense of pure being. By subduing all active thought you enter into a fully relaxed state of inner peace and calmness. All stress subsides and you’re able to experience everything in a direct and actual manner rather than through the commentary of your thoughts. When all thought subsides we enter into a form of rapport with the present and we experience everything as it is in this moment without filtering it through the past and reshaping it to be like us through how we think about it. In this way, we form an entirely different relationship with life and become an entirely different person as a result.

  • Create a complete vacancy of mind while resisting all thoughts that try to command your attention. Empty your mind completely, and enter into a state of presence and pure being.
  • Rigorously reject any thought that competes for attention, and return to a complete mental vacancy. Do this repeatedly until thoughts begin completely subsiding and you exist in a state of pure beingness for an extended period of time.
  • Bring this same practice into the ordinary moments of your daily life by becoming fully present in whatever you’re doing, empty your mind of mental commentary and habitual thinking, and simply perceive things as they are in that moment. Form an expanded awareness of everything around you without letting thoughts about it enter your mind.

When you are able to stay in this state for a full 10 minutes, the purpose of this exercise has been achieved. This is important because it lays the foundation necessary for continued development.

Once you have mastered these three basic mind exercises and learned how to control and direct your attention and thoughts, you’ll be ready to move on to other steps in self-mastery that require self-control and your ability to use your will in an intentional and deliberate manner. By learning how to perceive things without a mental commentary or by bringing past ideas into the present and using them to create your experience of the present, you’ll be able to naturally correct perceptual errors that have become automatic and perceive things in a new light as they actually are a part from you and your preconceived judgments about them.

Forgiveness – Transforming Judgment, Detachment, and the Key to Liberation

    The idea of forgiveness can be a somewhat “slippery” subject in terms of what it actually means and how to do it. Many can put on the façade of appearing to forgive on the outside while still harboring the feelings that led to the perceived need to forgive on the inside. In order to honestly forgive as an internal process of realization that dissolves ill will and incorrect perceptions and instills a sense of inner peace, you have to learn to look at it from a different perspective where you realize there’s no need to forgive because no harm has been caused to you. All ‘perceived’ harm caused to us by another is the result of an incorrect perception on our part that comes by looking at it within the same plane or level of reality, or is due to the fact that we share the same ‘mental and emotional dynamic’ and so participate in living it out with them as though it’s real. Whenever we reside in or are conditioned to the same dynamics and story-line as another, we ‘resonate with them’ and are effected by them in terms of ‘feeling hurt by them’ somehow due to their actions towards us. They say or do something that hurts us, makes us angry, or creates an intense sense of losing something we value, and we not only react to it in a like manner, playing a role in the drama that ensues, but we continue to dwell in vicious, condemning, criticizing, and hateful thoughts long after the fact, playing them over and over in our mind letting them eat at us, and ultimately come to define us. We engage in the act of judging and cursing the other in a compulsive and seemingly uncontrollable fashion, while simultaneously perceiving the need to forgive because we’ve been hurt, damaged, suffered a severe loss, or have been reduced and diminished somehow. Yet as long as we stay in the same ‘shared mindset’ as a drama and behavioral dynamic, we can’t ever really forgive them because we continue to use our will and mental power to keep the perceived offense alive by continuing to think about it and relive it while revolting and attacking back, or somehow getting even by hurting them in the same way we imagine we’ve been hurt. Yet the part of this equation we often fail to recognize, is that what we’re calling ‘being hurt’ is actually something that we are willingly doing to ourselves with our own mind and body by readily taking in the energy being projected at us by the behavior of another, letting it take hold inside of us, and giving it life by letting it completely run our emotions and imagined thoughts. We are in reality choosing to let another use our will to continue hurting us over and over by continuing to harbor and think about it while replaying it in our mind in a constant and compulsive manner. We are in fact cooperating and fully participating in co-creating the reality of the shared drama. The strange truth of all of life that we often fail to realize in the most fundamental sense is that no one is ever doing anything ‘to us’ in terms of how we ‘experience’ the events of our life. While someone can certainly hurt us physically, behave in a way that causes us to feel pain, take away something we value, or lash out and attack us with the intention of hurting and diminishing us by captivating us under their spell, how we ‘form the experience’ of whatever happens is something we completely create with our mind and emotions. Only we form our own thoughts and tell ourselves a story about things that give them the meaning they have and what they mean about us, the other person, and the way the world is, as a result. The meaning we give things that forms our story about it is usually based on the emotional charge of the actual event, or is what acts to invoke that ‘state of mind’ that we start using to create in other areas of our life as well. A story we begin telling ourselves about being betrayed, not wanted, used, etc., can become a life theme that begins shaping us in all areas of our life. We can just as easily choose not to let the emotions and actions of others in, not give them life inside of us, and deflect them back to them by remaining steadfast in the realization of what’s actually happening. As another person lives out their drama as a theme of some kind that’s actualized through their perceptions, emotional states, and behaviors, is simply showing us in very immediate and direct terms who they are as a person and what their model of the world is. Their actions only reveal ‘who they are’ in unmistakable terms. They’re showing us the delusion they’re conditioned with and the story they’re acting to tell with their life. It says nothing about us, unless we let it. We have to agree to play out the same drama in order to enter into a reactive state and respond in a like manner, which is the only thing that makes it real. The problem that we have in life is that it’s difficult to stay conscious, especially through extreme experiences of emotional intensity or where we feel like a lot is at stake and we stand to lose a lot. It’s the emotions that are at play that are very magnetic and draw us into things in a completely unconscious manner because they create an internal experience that makes them seem real. Emotions are the energetic language of the material plane that ‘infect’ us, stimulate us internally, activating and causing us to take on the same emotion, which amplifies it. Emotions serve as ‘themes’ that have whole realities in them as the type of experience that naturally produces, increases, and gives us more of that emotion. When infected with an emotional charge, feeling a pronounced and often overwhelming internal sensation, we tend to automatically take it on and allow it to run our mind producing the illusion of the emotion as a shared reality and control our behavior as an equivalent response to that reality. It literally renders us unconscious and we go into an automatic mode. We’re being completely controlled and determined by the other person through a shared and agreed upon illusion as the story we act out together with them. This is the most basic form of choice and free will that’s engaged in at a purely unconscious level. We feel as if we have no control over it and are subject to it as a form of victim. We give our power over to the same natural forces that are governing the other person’s behavior. The way to overcome the laws and events of the lower material plane, is to rise above them to the higher plane governed by complementary laws, and use those laws to counteract the lower ones. The higher plane that’s parallel to this one as the subtle plane of higher consciousness, where the “Higher Self” resides, looking over and guiding us on the lower plane, does so through a form of total detachment from the illusions (emotions) of the lower plane. This higher consciousness, which is also a part of us, operates through what’s called the ‘witnessing’ faculty of the mind, and when employed by perceiving something from a detached perspective that doesn’t make it personal or internalize it, we can ‘see the illusion’ of the situation that the other person is caught up in and perceiving as being real. When we move into a position and perspective of detachment and look at everything in a non-personal way, we can not only see it clearly as an illusion (because we don’t share it, which is what makes it real for us), but it doesn’t act to produce an effect in us. We’re not stimulated emotionally by it. The emotional charge of it doesn’t enter our mind and body because we don’t resonate with it (we only absorb what we resonate with). We can see it from their perspective in an unemotional and dissociated manner. It doesn’t enter into our mind and body and produce a ‘like’ effect. Once we can view it in a neutral manner without participating in it, we don’t form an emotional reaction to it. It’s only in the emotional reaction that we feel hurt and suffer pain of some kind that causes hatred, resentment, animosity, pain, and the desire for revenge by hurting them back in the same way and to the same degree that they hurt us. When we can learn how to exercise full control over our own mind and don’t allow it to be controlled by others and natural forces by engaging in emotional dramas that are delusional in nature (made up), we can stay fully conscious and self-aware in even the most intense situations. If we cultivate a constant perception of being detached from the world around us (in it but not of it), realizing that nothing anybody else does has anything to do with us unless we let it, we begin cultivating peace of mind that comes from residing in the truth rather than delusions. When we don’t take things personal, they don’t continue living in us long after the event has past. We don’t harbor ill will against the person and continue to constantly think bad thoughts as a form of retaliation and wanting to strike back, and it doesn’t become a part of our life or serve to define us in any way. When we’re not hurt by the actions of others because we don’t live in the same reality or personal illusion as they do, there’s no need to forgive because no damage was done. We don’t poison ourselves with the negative thoughts as judgment over another, that’s actually only hurting us. As we imagine we’re judging another through criticizing, hurtful, vindictive thoughts, we are programming ourselves with those thoughts, saturating our body with the chemistry of those thoughts, and proceed to continue creating more experiences of the same nature. We use the reality produced by those thoughts as a perceptual filter to see ‘all’ people through, and we become the “type of person” indicated by our judgments as emotional thoughts. We perceive ourselves through our own judgments as being the complementary polar opposite as the victim (subject to) of another person’s behavior. We become subject to our own judgments as a constant thought process and emotional state produced by those thoughts. We become by way of our own thoughts and emotions as our state of mind (vibratory frequency). As we program ourselves with our own emotional states, we vibrate at that frequency, and become a magnet for more of “those type of people” who will willingly cooperate in acting out more of the same type of dynamics, giving us more of the same type of feelings, emotions, and experiences. We perceive everyone and everything (including ourselves) out of our perceptual lens and filters created by our thoughts, judgments, and the meaning we give things. We become the mental, emotional, and physical equivalent of our perceptions. When we detach ourselves from the reality of others, seeing ourselves as not being a part of the same delusion (conditioning), and realize in absolute terms that their behavior says nothing about us but only reveals who they are and what type of issues they’re living out of that they’re mistaken for being real, we remain unaffected by them, and we never form hurtful, negative reactions to them. We never engage in, agree with, and act to cooperatively participate in playing a key role in their imaginary dramas. By realizing they’re only caught up in their own delusions and those of mass consciousness (what they’ve been taught by society), and don’t really have an actual awareness of what they’re doing in the sense that it’s their own creation, not only will you not form any ill will towards them, you can still feel a sense of love for them. Not a personal or romantic love, but the type of love you feel for a child that’s still learning and doesn’t realize what it’s doing in the real sense of things. As Jesus said in the midst of being tormented to death, “forgive them Father, for they know not what they do”. People honestly don’t realize they’re caught up in an illusion of their own making or subject to a form of mass hypnosis. The perceived need to forgive simply shows you that you’re invested in, and affected by the same delusion as an emotional drama and behavioral dynamic. It can help you to realize things about yourself that may be difficult to see in the light of day. It’ll show you what your own ‘issues’ are that you’re not fully aware of and so still get “taken in” by. And of course it’s easy to see that whenever we harbor and keep alive negative thoughts about another that run through our mind in a compulsive manner, that it keeps us in that “emotional state” and “diminishes” us with the same ideas as the thoughts. We literally ‘become’ the same as our thoughts. When we hate someone, and dwell in the thoughts and emotions of hate, we lend our will to create hate and become hate itself in mind and body. We become a hateful person. We represent hate, and channel our life-force into the reality of hate. We simultaneously hate ourselves by becoming the channel for that reality, and use our will unconsciously to create it as our experience of life. Mass Brainwashing – Mastering your Will and Learning how to take back Control your Mind

In our modern day society of constant sensory stimulation and information overload, our minds tend to be constantly racing with thoughts and emotions that keep us in a constant state of distraction and prevent us from ever being present in our own life. Most of the thoughts that we think throughout the day are redundant, habitual, and virtually meaningless. They’re formed from suggestions we receive all day long from electronic media of some form that are readily taken in and allowed to take hold, and from running emotional memories of some sort through our mind, reliving and replaying them over and over. This kind of thought not only keeps us in a constant state of living out of the past, but turns us into mindless drones controlled, programmed, and driven by whatever fad or propaganda is saturating the media.

All electronic media works to stimulate the mind, brain, and body through a variety of methods that operate out of the same principles as hypnosis, energetic entrainment, and auto-suggestion. Anytime the mind is rendered passive while engaging in some form of idea or process, whatever suggestion (idea) is delivered with a strong emotional component, is readily “taken in” and allowed to take hold, and developed into a personal (imagined) reality by thinking about it. As we think about an idea, we form a conceptualization as an internal representation that literally seats the idea into the subconscious mind, which uses it in the same manner as a memory. Out of this virtual memory comes patterns for actualizing as experiences that the subconscious uses to connect with that same idea in the outer world, magnetizing us to it. As we think we imagine and have an emotional reaction to our own thoughts, and act to “tune ourselves” to that vibration as a “type” of reality. Whatever vibration we are tuned to is the type of reality we engage in, readily see and connect to, and participate in creating by becoming a channel for it. We literally lend our will to creating it.

Ideas with strong emotions act like a “hook” to the unguarded mind, and become seeds, that once planted, continue to grow and become a part of our normal reality. Once we form an internal reality out of them, they’re integrated into our paradigm and become a natural part of our thinking and perceiving. These thoughts, which ultimately become habitual, determine our emotional state, which is the component that attaches us to that same idea as a reality all around us. Emotions are the motive force of the material plane, and is what readily travels throughout the material plane and acts as a stimulus. A physical stimulus takes place through “resonance”, or when energies of the same nature act to vibrate and move each other and are “absorbed” (sympathetic induction). Emotions that “enter into us” stimulate and influence us, are integrated and ultimately form coherence, which acts to amplify and increase the emotion that connects them. Once resonating, a form of gravity is created as an electromagnetic field that connects us, and we are steadily drawn into that idea in our environment and others who vibrate at the same frequency (share the same emotions and type of thoughts as they reality they produce).

Electronic media has many other covert features that are always operating on us without our awareness. Whenever something is influencing us without awareness, it means it’s working directly on and through our subconscious mind. All electronics produce an electromagnetic field, which is similar to our electromagnetic field, and therefore “acts on it” as a direct stimulus. This stimulus creates a form of tension that produces a chronic form of stress because it keeps the body in a constant alert and reactive state. Our houses and dwellings are all electrically powered, and most of us live every day in a sea of interwoven electrical currents that produce a form of chronic stress, that over time wears us down, lowering our resistance (immune response and mental overwhelm) and keeps us in a receptive state.

Most media devices we engage in and interact with have lit screens of some sort, which are created through oscillating light, that not only effects our Pineal gland, which regulates light, and stimulates our visual cortex, but also creates what we call “brain entrainment”, which is a form of “trance”. So anytime we’re using a media device or in near proximity of it, we’re being influenced by it, stimulated into an anxious state, then entrained by oscillating light, that then delivers information as ideas that have an emotional hook. We are literally being hypnotized and fed constant suggestions through various forms of media use. This stimulus, mental entrainment, and suggestion keeps us addicted to the devices causing them, and control and govern us by whatever information as a form of “hypnotic suggestion” they deliver and implant into our mind.

Most media devices or TV as entertainment of various sorts that have rapidly changing “scenes”, moving from one idea to another in a matter of seconds, creates a form of sporadic and illogical attention span that moves constantly from one idea to another every few seconds. This illogical, super-fast change of realities and ideas, creates the inability to concentrate, while being programmed with whatever information is being delivered by way of them. Anytime we’re being entertained, we enter into a receptive state and readily allow whatever idea is being played out to enter our mind where we become a part of it. We form energetic sympathy with it and absorb it into our mind. Computers, and especially cell phones, use windows and scrolling methods that keep our attention span moving rapidly through a large array of information while in a passive and receptive state, scanning information. This electronic entrainment produces sporadic and redundant thoughts and images that become habitual and chronic in nature. Because of these types of factors, our mind runs continuously with repeated thoughts of what movies we watched, songs we listened to, what videos we viewed, commercials we saw, articles we read, or whatever we have engaged in and allowed our mind to become saturated with.

For the most part, our modern day society has produced an entire society of brainwashed people who suffer from chronic forms of depression, isolation, learning disabilities, and erratic emotional states. The average person can’t control their own thoughts and feeling, and instead are controlled by them. Many people can’t concentrate, can’t shut off their mind and go to sleep, ignore the people sitting right next to them while engrossed in their cell phone instead, can’t stay focused long enough to read, and when they do read they can’t comprehend or retain, and lack the ability to concentrate and think deeply on any subject. They merely repeat the thoughts and ideas they’re being saturated with, and often never actually have a thought of their own. We’ve become a society of programmed drones who give our will to those who brainwash us, and work our entire life caught up in a system we’re forced to participate in. Most are so accustomed to it now that they can’t see what’s happening or don’t care, and eagerly participate in it while fighting to defend it when it’s pointed out.

One of the main things that’s required in order to begin taking back control of your own mind, is to begin observing your own thoughts, while becoming aware of what they are and where they came from, and begin censoring what you expose yourself to and the behaviors you engage in. Breaking the electronic media tendency can be difficult because it’s very addictive, and some of our most basic functions require them. Yet we can absolutely limit our use, and avoid engaging in it as a remedy to boredom, or as a way of engaging in behaviors that are ultimately meaningless or purely for entertainment. By paying attention to what we expose ourselves to, and what type of information we allow into our minds, we can become more aware and select stuff that we actually want to acquire as part of our everyday thought processes. We can begin limiting our dependency on “entertainment” and the number of hours we watch TV or surf the internet, and begin engaging in “actual activities” of some sort that require us to be present and actually “do something”. We can get back into “live engagements” with actual people that we can know in the real sense, actually talk to, see their emotional expressions, feel their energy, and experience bonding of various forms.

Another practice is to learn how to develop and use our “will”. Our will is the creative aspect of our mind that comes from concentration and imagination that’s followed by actions of some sort. All creative power lies in concentrated thought, and when we are scattered and think erratically, or move from one thing to another without the ability to fix our attention on something for an extended period of time, we tend to never really create anything, but merely pass time instead. If we shut off the TV and actually do something instead, or read a book, have a conversation with someone, clean the house, cook a meal, work in the yard or garden, go for a walk, and so on, we’re able to practice being present “in” our life, develop our ability to concentrate and remain focused on something, and improve our health, our relationships, and our living environment, while also becoming happier and more content.

When we begin realizing that various forms of “entertainment” are the best form of hypnosis because we enter into those activities without any resistance or censoring tendencies, and so we take everything right into our mind and allow it to take hold in our imagination, we can begin being more selective about what types of entertainment we readily engage in. Many people who watch four to five hours of TV at night, are also watching a good hour’s worth (if not more) of commercials. Everywhere on the internet is cluttered with junky “sensationalized” type of advertisements, articles on many websites are cluttered with so many adds it’s hard to follow the article, and even videos are full of ads of some kind. So we’re being bombarded with various forms of media that’s all designed to get our attention and cause us to “click” on it, or ads designed to persuade us to purchase something. Nowhere is there a more masterful use of psychology and hypnosis than there is in the advertising, marketing, and news fields. Anything that’s delivered with a “strong emotional content” or that’s extreme in some way, acts like a hook to the mind, and once the information is received, we continue to think about it long after it’s past. In many cases, it can become a habitual part of our thoughts or something that we process more like a fact and as a form of learning by incorporating it into our mental paradigm, where it becomes a perceptual filter of some form.

When we engage in any type of “screen” activity (TV, Cell Phone, Video games, computer, etc.) within a couple of hours before going to bed, it stimulates our visual cortex and Pineal gland, which is what regulates our Arcadia rhythm (sleep cycle), and we feel anxious and can’t “shut off our thoughts”. Those who watch TV while in bed, and fall asleep with it still going, are actually still taking in everything that’s being said or played out with their subconscious mind. As we drift off to sleep, and as we wake up in the morning, are the most natural states of hypnosis we experience in our everyday life. While sleeping, our conscious “censoring mind” is completely subdued, yet our subconscious mind, which never sleeps, is dominate and active, meaning that it’s still taking in and processing information from the environment. Also, when we fall asleep watching a screen of some form, much like drinking alcohol, we tend to wake up a couple of hours after falling to sleep and can’t go back to sleep, often accompanied by a strong feeling of anxiety and restlessness. LED lights (blue light ray) of any kind are not only harmful to your eyes, but are a major cause of insomnia of various forms. A Lack of sound sleep over an extended period of time, causes emotional and mental “weakness” as feeling tired, unable to concentrate, feeling foggy, can’t think straight, over reactive emotionally and chronic forms of depression.

So the best way to take back control of your own mind and will, is to become aware of all the ways your mind is being infected through hypnotic processes and electromagnetic stimulation, and pick and choose your activities based on that. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Reduce the amount of exposure to any form of device that’s electromagnetic in nature, radioactive, has a lit screen, wireless transmission, and is filled with commercials.

  • Don’t use a device with a lit screen within two hours of going to bed.

  • Don’t fall asleep in front of a TV, and don’t have a TV in your bedroom.

  • Don’t sleep with your cell phone next to your bed.

  • Avoid commercials and advertising of all forms, and limit the amount of news you watch.

  • Limit the amount time you spend on social sites or scanning your phone.

  • Engage more in “actual activities” that require you to be present, interactive, and think and doing something.

  • Meditate or take time out to just relax and reflect on something without any stimulus or noise. Quiet time.

  • Spend more time with people who are actually present with you, such as family, friends, neighbors, or animals of various sorts.

  • Spend some time throughout the day concentrating steadily on something for an extended period of time without letting yourself get distracted.

  • Read more (paper books – no screens)

  • Spend more time doing things outside that are active, enjoyable and out in the sunlight (Vitamin D)

  • Make sure you get an ample amount of sound sleep (5 to 8 hours).

  • Eat a healthy well-balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables and water. Stay hydrated.

Like all things, it’s best to start with a couple of practices then increase as you accomplish those. Trying to do too many at a time will usually set you up for failure and create a stressful experience. Most of these activities are a form of habit, and may be somewhat difficult to give up, especially if you find them enjoyable or as a means of filling time that otherwise you wouldn’t have anything to do. As you stop one activity you should have another one that you’ll be replacing it with. We’re never really “breaking habits”, but rather consciously creating healthy habits to replace unhealthy ones.

Mastering the Creative Power of the Word through the Self-Realization of Thought

Our Thoughts Create our Experience of Reality as a Personal Delusion

Many of us have heard about the true power of our own thoughts, which become expressed through talking, and the power of talking to direct the thought processes of others, but we often still don’t know how to bring this knowledge into practice within our daily life in order to become more self-aware. Words are representative of ideas, and when thought or spoken, create whole imaginary realities out of them. How we talk, or the type of stories we’re always in the process of telling through expression of our character and how we’re being, is the expression of the same ideas we’re always dwelling on internally, and the same ideas and stories we’re always telling ourselves as a way of making sense of things, that give, what is in fact “neutral events” or circumstances “personal meaning”. The meaning we give things, not only means something about others and the way life is in general, but also means something about us. We’re not only the storyteller of our own life, but we’re also the main character in our own story. The reality we create by “how we think about things”, and what dramas and dialogues we naturally participate in co-creating, act to shape “who we are” and how we’re always “being”. We’re not only the sole creator of our life in terms of how we experience it by what we tell ourselves about it, but we’re simultaneously creating our “self” by way of our own thoughts, inner imaginings, and outer expressions.

While we’ve heard the fact that we “become what we think about”, so much of our feeling, thinking, and imagining is unconscious (not directly aware of it) and automatic, that we often don’t realize that we can in fact learn how to take control of our own mind, deliberately direct our attention, and become fully aware of what we’re acting to create, not only in our self and our own life, but also in the life of others. Even when we set and intention to become more self-aware, that awareness comes and goes throughout the day, and we can lose track of it almost entirely once we go out into the world and begin interacting with others and functioning in a role of some kind. We spend far more of our time engaged in unconscious thoughts and behaviors (automatic) than we do in a direct awareness of what’s happening and what our part is in co-creating it. Once we become triggered to fall into reactive behaviors, we lose all awareness and fall into habitual states and tendencies. Many people can spend the better part of their day, or entire life without any real (direct) awareness of the activities of their own mind and how or what they’re thinking about, and why.

While most think of communication as something we do with others, the fact is we’re always engaged in the process of communicating with ourselves through our own internal dialogue, as well as receiving communication from purely invisible sources that came as insight, intuition, and inspiration of some form. Thoughts as mental impressions are always being transmitted in the space around us, and we “pick up on them” as “popping into our mind”, or coming to us in a natural way that we mistake for our own thoughts, and don’t realize that we’re “receiving” them from others as a subconscious form of influence and suggestion. When we’re picking up on thoughts from our immediate environment, they come more as feelings that form mental impressions as an inner imagining of an idea or scenario, which comes to us in a spontaneous and subtle fashion. Because we’re only capable of “receiving” thoughts that correspond to our own natural style of thinking through a basic form of resonance, these thoughts seem natural to us and so we perceive them as being our own thoughts.

Brain waves

Subconscious forms of communication don’t come as “words” or talking, which is a product of the conscious mind, but come as feelings that form impressions much like we experience a memory. It comes as “playing an idea out” in our mind, or as observing it as a reality of some sort that stimulates a natural thought process in us as a story we start telling ourselves about it. The nature of the story we’re always in the process of telling is our “fingerprint” or personal style, and modifies the basic idea being received to conform to our style of thinking. The thought transmission acts more as a generic or universal idea as a kind of seed or potential for thought, that spawns a whole unfolding in our mind as a living reality of some sort. As we “receive” the idea into our mind, we “blend with it”, and transform it accordingly to produce a personalized version of the same idea. So we don’t “think” the same thoughts of another, but rather think the same “type of thoughts”.

We also act as a receiver for what we can call “higher forms of knowledge” that come as an intuitive (intimate) process also, that involves more of “hearing a voice” talk to you about something, and though it’s your own inner voice, it’s being used by a different authority. It’s always telling you things, or showing you things that you don’t have any way of “knowing” through your own experiences. These thoughts come more as a form of teaching, revealing, or guiding. It’s never demanding, forceful, or acting to “tell us what to do”, but simply guides us by revealing the true reality behind things, directing our attention to something that we’re not seeing on our own, or gives us a preview of what’s to come through the activities we’re engaged in, while always leaving it up to us to make up our own mind about it. This voice always has our best interest in mind, works for the good of everyone involved, is never about material ideas or desires of some sort, and never preys on our emotions, but instead invokes in us a sense of wisdom and all-pervasive knowing. We communicate with this same source through a constant form of prayer, as well as through our general thinking. Our thoughts as our internal dialogue “is” how we communicate and interact with the invisible, spiritual world of pure ideas. So we are constantly engaged in multiple forms of communication between multiple dimensions at any given moment in time, and form what we call our “reality” out of this interlaced matrix.

While we are somewhat aware of our thoughts in the general sense, because we’re always fully “within” the reality of our own thoughts as a storyline (illusion), we can’t really see them for what they are in terms of viewing them in an objective and detached manner. We often don’t realize that our “story about things” is purely a self-created idea, and we are the “only ones” who see and experience things through our own story about them. Many think that what they’re “seeing and involved in” is a neutral and objective reality that everyone is seeing equally. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. Even when we do gain a flash of realization about how our own mind is acting to create our reality, and we see something about ourselves that we “don’t like” or we realize that it may actually be something we’ve made up, we immediately go into the mode of justifying our right to feel that way, or why we’re telling that story (because it’s true), or explaining our point of view, and so on, even to ourselves! We figure that if we can explain it or justify it, then we can make it true and real. And because we’re “living out of this story” and have built our identity with it (become the character of this story), we don’t realize that it’s actually our mind’s ability to create realities that become delusional. We fall victim to our own minds creative abilities because we’ve spent our whole life subject to our own internal voice as our thought processes that are always interpreting the outer events of our life to give them the same meaning and tell the same type of story about them. Most, honestly don’t realize what they’re actually doing, and this subliminal mental power that they possess.

One of the easiest ways to begin becoming self-aware and to begin understanding how your own mind works, is to develop the process of self-reflecting or introspection. It’s easier to start with ideas that don’t have an emotional charge, or that we don’t have strong “needs” or desires invested in, because nothing causes us to go more unconscious than reactive and need-fulfilling tendencies. We can sit and relax, or simply relax while engaged in some activity, and let your mind “think” whatever it naturally thinks, without trying to control it, stop or divert it, or go into defending it somehow, and move into a detached, dissociated position of simply observing your thoughts as if another person watching them. As you listen to your story about things, simply become aware of what it is. View it without any form of emotional reaction to your own thoughts. As you do this, allow yourself to realize that “how you” reshape reality as an experience of it comes by way of your perceptual lens that “interprets” neutral ideas through a story that forms how you “experience” it, rather than “as it actually is”. Our mind doesn’t manifest or create the outer elements themselves, but rather reorganizes them into new compositions as an adaptation to our story-line. Our mind creates personal versions of a neutral outer reality by the story we tell ourselves about it. This story-line as a “theme”, is the vibratory frequency of our mind that reorders the elements of the outer world which contains the potential of “all vibratory frequencies”, into a new and variable pattern through resonance. It (our mind) only “sees” in everything else what matches it in terms of its natural expression as a frequency that has a distinct pattern or template inherent in it, that selects (chooses) only relevant items necessary to shape into its story, while ignoring or failing to see (doesn’t resonate) with anything that doesn’t, or that would act to contradict it. As you form realization around the “theme” of your story, allow yourself to simultaneously realize the true neutrality of the situation by releasing all attachments to it, or without “needing it” to be something specific.

As you gain self-awareness in common moments that don’t have strong emotions attached to them, practice this same process for areas of your life that produce a reaction of some sort in you. Again, let the idea play out naturally without trying to alter, control, or prevent it, and simply become aware of what story plays out in your mind about or around it. Allow yourself to notice that the type of story you tend to tell is formed in the most immediate sense out of the emotional state that you employ while “thinking about it”. Thought and emotion are always married, and emotions have distinct realities inherent in them as the outer experience that expresses the emotion and creates the experience necessary to sustain the emotion or give you more of it. Our thoughts as sensory ideas form the elements of our story, while our emotions are what “shape” the nature of the story we tell that gives it meaning or makes it significant (to us) somehow. As you become aware of how thought and emotion are always working in a complementary fashion to form how you shape and experience your outer reality, gain a sense of the emotions you tend to employ as a general rule. As you become aware of this, and while still embodying that emotional state, allow a chain of association to form of memories that are also associated to this emotion that act to tell the same type of story. As you become aware of his . . . . Just sit with it while concentrating on it, and allow whatever realization to come while continuing to observe them from a neutral and detached state.

As you begin practicing various forms of self-realization into the workings of your own mind, you’ll simultaneously start understanding how your mind works to create the “illusions” of reality that you’ve formed your self-belief out of, and mistook for being “real” and “who” you actually are. You can begin realizing how you’ve lived out of what has been primarily a delusion of your own making, which resulted from your inability to take control of your mind and intentionally direct it. We can only work with what we have a “working (conceptual) understanding” of. Once you become aware of your own mind’s ability to create fantasy based realities through a theme as a story-line that reshapes everything accordingly, you can begin realizing how you’ve developed your sense of self based on this delusion, and you can decide to let go of your story about things, and begin telling a new story that’s produced from learning how to operate your own mind intentionally, direct your own thought processes, intentionally employ positive emotional states, and mind what you say or talk about to others.

What we talk about brings an internal thought-idea into the external world as a projection. What we communicate outwardly reveals our thoughts and life story going on inwardly. What we say, or speak outwardly, directs the minds of others to think the same type of thoughts, invest in the same type of realities, and form an impression of us in terms of what kind of person we are. Anything you “speak” you create in the outer, material world. You give an internal idea life outside of you. It reveals how you’re interpreting everything in the outer world from your internal perspective to tell your story about it. It shows what “type” of reality you’re invested in, conditioned too, and what pattern you act to naturally create as your natural self-expression and influence over others. By recognizing your own life story as a theme, and how you’re always perceiving out of that theme to reform objective reality into a personalized version, which makes you into a certain type of person by way your own story, you can gain awareness of your souls vibratory frequency, and the creative process necessary for transforming it.

How to Begin Taking Control of your Emotional State

Emotional Intelligence as an actual Practice

There’s nothing that controls us more than the emotions we experience or act to produce through the nature of our thoughts. One of the first steps to working consciously with anything is by gaining awareness around it and coming to understand how it operates. By becoming aware of what it is, how it works, the natural relationship it forms as a creative process, and what affects they produce when uncontrolled and haphazard. Emotions exist at the subconscious level of the mind, which means we engage in them, experience them, transmit and receive them, without direct awareness of what’s happening. When we enter into them, they produce pronounced and intense state of mind and bodily sensations and cause us to go unconscious while producing reactive behaviors. Our reactive behaviors create in our life and draw to us immediate consequences.

 
People who experience intense emotions are usually highly reactive, easy to control through their emotions, and prone to delusions formed out of thinking that’s driven by emotions. While in a reactive state we’re completely unconscious of what we’re actually doing and running on autopilot. Many, when they come out of an outburst or temporary loss of control, only vaguely remember it in terms of what they said and did, and once the realize what they’ve done, feel ashamed, embarrassed, guilty, or regretful. But of course, it’s too late, what’s done is done, and can’t be undone. During reactions, many honestly experience a form of black-out where they’re completely unconscious, and it’s as if something has “taken them over”, and only start coming back into awareness somewhere in the middle of what they’re doing, and so in a strange sort of way, actually aren’t fully responsible for what they say and do, even though it was still extremely destructive and damaging and came as the result of a complete lack of control. This can make emotionally reactive people very stressful to be around and unpredictable. You have the feeling of walking on egg-shells because you never know how they’ll take something or what will set them off.

So to begin the process of learning how to control your self and avoid being infected by emotions is to approach them with an attitude of understanding them. This can be done through simple self-observation and reflection. We don’t need a scientific explanation in order to understand it in terms of working with it. Emotions are something we experience everyday in an intimate fashion. We first want to look at how emotions are transmitted and received. Notice that you can sense and perceive emotions being put off by someone experiencing them. This is a kind of emanation, projection, or transmission. You sense them because you feel them. You pick up on them as internal sensations located at different spots or areas of your body. While you may not know what caused them, or what thoughts they’re actually having, you know what “kind” of emotions they are – angry, sad, happy, scared, in love, heartbroken, and so on – because they make you feel the same way. You simply want to notice this “transmission and reception” of emotions.

 
Emotions are shared by the entire natural world, and are the primary “language” or communicative activity of the subconscious mind. You want to begin forming an idea in your mind that the very atmosphere of the Earth that surrounds us and that we’re apart of, is like a field of energy that acts as a carrier wave for the transmission of vibration as emotion that stimulates us producing “states of mind”. These vibrations as emotions are experienced as “qualities of consciousness” that move freely through matter, and are transmitted by “entering us” and activating the same feeling in us. These emotions, in the animal kingdom are designed to create automatic behaviors and activities in the animals as instinct, who, of course, don’t “think about things”, but act and react as more of a “cause and effect” type of relationship, where the information of their environment is apart of them, and acts to direct their activities. This transmission of energy designed to produce automatic behaviors affects us also, causing reactions, but the problem is we also form our “thinking” out of them, and as a result, create whole realities as an illusion that’s mistaken for being real or actual. We create whole realities out of emotional states that render us unconscious and cause us to act in a knee-jerk fashion.

Notice what happens inside of you when you pick up on a strong emotion, one that’s being projected directly at you, or you’re interacting with someone who communicating through the emotion, or is in a reactive state themselves and unloading on you. Notice the intensity while refraining completely from acting on it, while letting it completely rise in you, filling you. Concentrate on being present with it by giving it your full attention. Don’t try to shut it down or suppress it through a feeling of overwhelm. You can hold the emotion fully within you without expressing it. Stay with it in it’s intensity until it peaks and starts dying down. Allow yourself to notice the thoughts you reference and think about as a form of memory associated with it. This usually comes as a scene that starts playing out, of either an experience you had while in this same state, or as the kind of experience this emotion would produce or come from. Whether an actual memory or an imagined one, notice that they come in the same way, as what seems like a memory.

 
Emotion as a state of mind is always intimately associated with all our experiences, and determines what kind of thoughts we form in our mind, or what previous experiences we continue to play over and over. Emotions have a very active component to them, and tend to make us act in some way according to them. When emotions are intense, behavior is immediate and often explosive or extreme. While we may not experience a clear thought process, the emotion does cause an instant behavior as a reaction that’s produced as a pattern for the body through memory of some form. Emotions not only keep us behaving in the same way, but living out of the same past.

 
Once you begin practicing this in your daily life, starting with the common emotions that are easy to control, then working your way up, you can begin consciously controlling not only your actual emotions, but your behavior and what you do or who and how you’re being. Because they no longer take place in an unconscious fashion, you don’t go unconscious when experiencing them. As you begin staying conscious and aware of them, from a disassociated and detached perspective of witnessing or observing them, you can literally begin directing and controlling them. You can create an imaginary boundary a couple of feet from your body as a bubble like sphere surrounding your body, that’s a shield where the emotion is experienced on the surface of this sphere and never allowed to penetrate you or produce and affect “in you”. When you keep the emotion outside of you, yet allow it to fully reflect on the outer boundary, much like looking at it through a lens, you can still see (imagine) the reality or memory inherent in it, while keeping it outside of you. You can look through the lens of the emotion as a perception of it, while never actually feeling it in your body or allowing it to become a part of you. This forms the basis for developing compassion. You may feel the residual affect of the emotion more like an echo or subtle sensation produced by the perception of it, much like your own thoughts elicit emotions in response to them, but it’ll have a distant feeling, and be easy to control and direct out of your body at will.

As you practice and get good at the process involved, you’ll naturally be able to use it in emotionally intense or volatile situations, with equal ease. By being able to still have or see the experience of the emotion outside of your body, you’ll stay conscious and fully awake in situations you’d normally go unconscious in, and you’ll be able to see the illusion of the emotion as a delusion or false representation of reality, without partaking in the same illusion yourself. You can begin realizing how emotions skew and distort perception and replace objective reality with a false interpretation of a subjective reality. You’ll be able to realize how emotions control people and keep them locked into illusions of their own making. You’ll be able to realize that their reaction and behavior is based on a lie that they perceive as real and factual.

 
Once you can keep emotions from penetrating and infecting you, you can dissociate and detach from them and stay centered in an objective and actual reality that’s not based on a shared emotional illusion. By being able to see clearly, you can understand and therefore feel a deepened sense of compassion for other people who simply haven’t learned how to step outside of their own made-up realities long enough to see the truth. By being able to witness this reality with other people, you’ll be able to see your own illusions in an objective and neutral fashion also. By understanding emotions, how they work to infect us causing a kind of mental illness, we can begin working with them while remaining fully conscious and centered in an undisturbed inner peace and equilibrium that allows for an neutral and objection perception that shows us the truth hidden in the surface appearance of things.

Becoming Self-Aware: Learning to Observe Yourself

The starting point of all forms of Self development begins by becoming ‘aware’ of how your mind functions on a normal basis while you’re not tending it, or realizing what’s happening internally, and why. In order to begin observing ourselves requires us to learn how to take on a dissociated position as a form of “second person perspective”. We move outside of the direct experience we’re always involved in with our own internal dialoguing and feelings, and we simply take a perspective of observing our natural thoughts, and the natural processes that are always taking place within us as the basis for creating our everyday, moment by moment experiences as a relationship and interaction with everyone and everything around us. We’re constantly creating our life experiences by how we feel, think, and what memories we use as templates for rerunning and reforming our present experiences to mean the same thing, and be about the same thing as our past experiences.

 
The first key to all forms of introspection, self-reflection, and self-observation, is to realize that at no point in the process do we judge ourselves for what we feel and think, nor do we ever get involved in the dialogue of judging, explaining or justifying what we think, why we’re thinking it, and what we do. Because strangely enough, what you’ll find is that just as we defend our perspectives and behaviors to others, there’s an aspect of our internal dialogue that even justifies to ourselves why we think and do what we do as a means of making it okay, which allows us to “keep it”. Our goal here, in self-reflecting, is taking an objective perspective to simply begin realizing what type of thoughts we think on a regular basis, for no particular reason, or as a part of redundant thoughts born out of a theme we’re always playing out in our mind as a way of interpreting our outer reality by way of our inner reality which comes largely from a completely unaware state of automatic feelings, modes of thinking, and dwelling in memories of some sort that we replay constantly when we’re not focused on anything in particular, as a form of random or entertaining type of thoughts, that are for the most part habitual in nature.

To begin this practice, you have to simply make a commitment to it, and remind yourself periodically throughout your day, when it’s convenient, to simply stop what you’re doing, and become aware of what you’ve been thinking about. What type of story we’re you running through your mind, what type of description or explanation were you giving about something, or what memory were you rethinking about? Sometimes we run abstract ideas through our mind from a TV show we watched, a line in a movie, a song that we heard, something someone said to us, an article we read, something we’re curious about, wondering about, or as a form of anticipation of what’s going to happen in a situation much like a form of prophecy. Whatever it is, simply notice what it is, and become aware of it. Allow yourself to simply notice what it is that runs through your mind unattended.

 
As you begin becoming aware of the type of thoughts you tend to think without intention, allow yourself to also recognize what memories you’re always in the process of thinking about and running through your imagination in a variety of scenarios, and that you use to form predictions of the future by reliving them in the present. Stop and observe what ideas you run through your mind as a means of anticipating an event or activity. Then, allow yourself to notice how you “feel” based on what you tend to think about. What emotions and moods you tend to be in as a result of your thinking and imagining. Notice that all memories as a generalized idea that plays out a theme of some sort which have a distinct mood or emotional atmosphere to them. As you replay them, it causes you to feel the same way you felt when you were experiencing the memory. Just by thinking about them, makes you feel the same way. Allow yourself to notice how your thoughts are connected to your feelings. How thoughts and emotions are always connected. When you think about happy experiences, you feel happy. When you think about sad experiences, you feel sad. And how these emotions, feelings, and moods is either what cause you to think about whatever you’re thinking about, or they’re produced because you’re thinking about whatever you’re thinking about.

As you go through your day and someone or something causes an emotional reaction in you, have the awareness to stop in the middle of it, refrain from reacting to it, and simply observe what’s happening inside your body. Notice the distinct sensations you’re feeling in certain parts of your body that have certain qualities to them, such as, a tingling, jolting, buzzy, sinking, butterflies, sharp, dull, painful, arousing, and so on. As you recognize how it makes you feel, also notice what memory you associate the feeling too, and what behavior its prompting you to do. How do you want to act in reaction to it? What natural behavior would it normally cause in you if you weren’t refraining from acting? Notice the connection between an emotional trigger, the memory you associate to it, and the behavior inherent in it. This is what forms “reactions” as unconscious behaviors that are formed from a memory of some sort. Again, don’t judge or try to justify what’s happening, simply notice it. Become aware of it.

 
Also, as you go through your day, allow yourself to notice how the emotional energy of others feels. Become aware that you’re constantly picking up on the emotions of others, and they’re affecting you in a somewhat indirect and subtle, if not very direct manner. Then, as in the previous lessons, allow yourself to notice how their emotions “affect” (or infect) you by entering into or moving through you, and stimulating in you those same emotions and feelings. Become aware of how your body is being stimulated by the emotions being displayed around you. Notice how you can sense the energy of a room just by walking into it from the outside. How the room holds the energy of the people and activities being conducted or experienced by the people within it. And again, simply notice how the emotional atmosphere forms the same type of feelings in you just by being “in it”.

As you become more self-aware, you simultaneously become more aware of others and your environment. You can start becoming aware of what is normally happening inside of you and too you by your environment and your own thoughts. You can become aware of what memories you tend to hang onto and continue living out of that shaping your current perception of things, what you connect to first internally, then externally, and what mood or emotional state you tend to live out of as a result. You can begin becoming aware of how others directly affect and influence you just through the nature of the energy exchange that’s taking place as feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You can begin shedding light on what’s normally operating in a habitual manner outside of your direct awareness. Just the awareness alone helps you to begin taking conscious control over your own thoughts, imagining, and emotional states.

 
We can only work with what we have a conscious awareness and basic understanding of. Becoming self-aware is the first step to moving into the practices that involve self-mastery by being able to not only control your own state of mind, but being able to direct your life by intentionally using your awareness of how feelings, thoughts, emotions, memories, and what we imagine as live scenarios directly affect how we first create our experiences, then use them as future memories to create more of the same type of experiences. We can obtain a new level of awareness around our relationships and how others act to influence us, what they activate and bring out in us, and how they serve to develop those tendencies in us. By becoming aware of what we were previously unaware of, we can see how it operates on us, through us, and because of us, and we can begin consciously controlling it and redirecting it in a more favorable manner. We can learn how to use positive memories and thoughts to automatically produce a positive state of mind. We learn how to stay present in our life instead of being caught up in endless distractions that keep us unconscious in the most basic sense. As with all things . . . awareness is the key! We can only work with what we’re aware of.

Self-Mastery through Controlling Emotions – Consciously Working with the Motivating Force of the Material Plane

In order to fully understand emotions and their intimate connection to “experience”, we have to look at life from the multidimensional level of interpenetrating planes of existence that are all interacting to form a coordinated movement as what we experience as reality. Our material reality is formed of three basic levels: the mental, emotional, and physical, with a four-fold nature – mood, thought, emotions, and actions – which combines to form an idea as a living reality. Our reality is created in a cohesive manner out of our feelings and thoughts which are always connected to and congruent with our emotions, which together create our mental paradigm as an interlaced series of ideas generated out of a central idea, which acts more like a theme. The theme of life we form as our mind-set and attitude forms our life story as the type of story we’re always in the process of telling by how we perceive and interpret things to give them meaning and how we experience them through what we tell ourselves about them and how we behave in relationship to our own imaginings.

 
We’re always in the process of remaking others in our image and with the same qualities and character that we ourselves are comprised of by perceiving them through our mental paradigm. We are always “looking through” our paradigm as our perceptual lens, and reorganize everything to be understood, explained, and described using our paradigm to interpret it as a means of creating our experience of it. While we can say that reality itself is objective and neutral, non-personalized and universal in nature, or as existing primarily without actual meaning, how we experience it turns it into a personification as a subjective reality. We are subject to, and controlled and determined by, our own experience of reality. We’re subject to our own creation as our perception that’s a fundamental illusion that ultimately becomes delusional because we live out of it as if it’s true, and create in error as a result.

Within the natural realm where experience comes as a bodily sensation, emotion is the common denominator and the means of transmitting information across space and time. We receive information as emotions from other people and all sentient beings. Emotions form a language based on direct experience. It doesn’t communicate through specific thoughts, but rather by stimulating the same emotions in us, which determine what we think based on what we associate to the emotion, and how we relate the feelings to memories of various sorts. The emotions being communicated don’t make us think the specific thoughts of the individual putting them off, but causes us to think the same “type” of thoughts. While the thoughts associated to the emotion may be different from one individual to another, they act to express the emotions as a thought-process or memory that becomes the template for producing a behavioral dynamic as an outward expression.

 
Emotions are very compulsive, and create an inner activity that produces immediate, automatic, and reactive behaviors. Emotional charges of any kind produce an instant and equivalent reaction that renders us unconscious as we’re doing it. We don’t think about how we’re feeling and what we’re doing, we just act in an outburst or instant reaction, and serve to amplify and increase the emotion by becoming the channel for it. We allow the emotion to come through us, acting it out as an unconscious behavior, which causes a direct effect. Our emotional reactions, like any action, are creative in nature, and draw immediate as well as long-term consequences. They create a powerful experience that’s impacting, often to the point of being somewhat traumatizing, for both ourselves and others who are at the butt of our behaviors. Whatever we allow to “come through us”, we act as the channel for, that simultaneously shapes us and forms the basis for our life experiences as an accumulative affect that plays out over extended periods of time. This is a basic form of karma.

Emotions are a natural part of the instinctual field of the Earth, and are designed to work through the subconscious mind, which is the level of the mind we share with the animal kingdom, that serves to prompt automatic behaviors. This is a bit of a challenge with humans, who have the ability to think and make-up things by imagining them, and who begin thinking in response to emotions, creating whole imagined realities out of the emotions they’re experiencing. Fear is designed to prevent action or move us away from danger of some sort, which is what it does to animals, who as soon as the danger passes no longer feel the fear. With humans, when we feel fear, we begin thinking fearful thoughts and running imaginary scenarios through our mind as situations that intensify or give us more of the same type of fear. Even when the fear as an actual danger is past, we have trouble shaking the feeling, and continue thinking about and imagining fearful thoughts. When we feel emotional pain of some sort, we build whole imagined realities out of our pain, and keep experiencing it over and over by running those thoughts through our mind, conditioning ourselves to it as a common way of thinking and feeling that keeps us in a constant state of pain.

 
Whatever emotion we’re experiencing and indulging in, we’re also radiating and acting to stimulate that same emotion in everyone and everything around us. By stimulating it, we call it forth in them, creating an equivalent emotional state in both, out of which we enter into relationship with them through the shared emotion and it becomes the basis for our interaction, which amplifies and increases it by expressing it to create a joint reality. The joint reality created acts to strengthen the emotional state in both people, and they draw unto themselves the experiences it creates, which shapes who they are as people. Our experiences, created out of an unconscious emotional state become the memory of our soul, which reforms it to those types of realities, tuning it to them as a vibratory frequency, where it continues to create (express) out of the illusions they form.

 
Emotions are readily felt as a distinct feeling sensation in the body just by being in near proximity of someone exuding the emotions. Those who live out of strong emotions that are always controlling them somehow, impose a strong and distinct influence on everyone around them, by activating in them the same emotions. The language of the body and subconscious mind is emotional in nature and provides us with information about our environment that adjusts our “inner state” to match that of the “outer state” preparing us to deal with whatever it is we need to deal with. The fundamental law that governs evolution as a developmental process is a constant exchange of information as qualities and levels of consciousness with our environment. We take in and assimilate the energy and essence that surrounds us, adjusting us to the same molecular state as our surroundings preparing us for what’s coming and what we need to do to interact and survive in it. The mind exists in a basic state of anticipation and readiness. It’s always receiving information as a form of communication with everything around us by how we’re being stimulated emotionally, and how we’re acting to stimulate others through the emotions that are motivating our behaviors and how we’re perceiving our situation through the filter of our emotions.

Once we understand this, we can realize that emotions aren’t our enemy, as some believe, but rather our greatest tool for communicating below the level of awareness. By bringing our emotions under control, and being able to perceive them from an objective perspective as information about whoever is projecting them by expressing through them, we can recognize the reality those people live out of and communicate through. By seeing and sensing what their mental model is and how they create their realities by the emotions they allow to operate through them, we can learn how to effectively communicate with them through the language of their emotions using their model as the premise for illustrating it in a way they’ll easily understand. By being able to look at emotions from an objective, neutral perspective, by not letting them take hold “in us” and submerge us in the delusion that acts as the vehicle for transmission, we can see them as revealing information about the person transmitting them.

 
We can develop the ability to use emotions to communicate by realizing their powerful ability to produce actions. We can learn to step into emotional states, and express through them knowing that we’re penetrating people’s mind through the emotion which enters them without their awareness of what’s happening, where they readily take on the necessary state to automatically accept and act on the ideas attached to them. Emotions are the field that transmits information, the carrier wave that injects that idea as a suggestion into their subconscious mind, where it takes hold and begins developing by how they think about. How they think about it, and how they develop the idea into a personal reality, is based on the emotion attached to it. The emotion shapes the idea to be a reality that expresses the emotion and gives us more of the same feeling. Emotions exist in direct relationship to thoughts, and together shape an idea into an inner reality that then becomes the basis for an outer reality by how they project it and act on the idea through the behaviors they employ in response to it.

 
Emotions are the motivating forces of the material world, and are either controlling us without our awareness, or we can learn how to control them. By bringing natural forces under control, we can use them as tools for creating, by intentionally and deliberately using them to influence the minds of others, by operating through their subconscious mind. We can use emotions to deliver suggestions that operate at the subliminal level, and work through the same principles that govern hypnosis and the larger idea of brain-washing the masses. Any content delivered through a strong emotion enters the mind without resistance, takes hold, and begin commanding their will by controlling their thoughts. We don’t need to “act on them” by giving them further instruction through suggestions on “how to develop” the idea, we simply need to make sure we’ve connected it to the proper emotion by how we deliver it. The emotion connected to the idea will determine how they think about it, what they reference and associate to it, that will form it as an analogy or variation as a personalization, while still holding true to expressing the idea as the reality inherent in the emotion as an experience.

The mind has the ability to control and utilize the Elemental forces of Nature, of the natural world, that are primarily what we experience as emotions that contain whole realities in them as a self-organizing quality that shapes reality by how we perceive it. We “see though” our emotions, and only see what matches our emotions, and can be shaped into the story our emotions tell as living realities. These natural forces also have the ability to control the mind of the soul by determining how we use our creative capacity of thought, which shapes the Astral Light into conceptualized realities in the imagination, that become the perceptual lens that we look through and use to create our experiences by how we interpret the outer reality to tell the same story.

 
Thought and emotion are always connected and synchronized, one is impregnated with the other, it’s purely a question of orientation – are the thoughts commanding the emotions, or are the emotions commanding the thoughts? The plane of thought and emotion are parallel and operate by reverse laws on their individualized planes. On the upper universal plane of pure ideas as the potential (whole ideas) that forms thought, thought is active and emotions are passive. Thought invokes emotion in response to it. On the lower plane of emotion, thoughts are passive and emotions are active. Emotions control and determine how we think and what we think about. On the material plane thought is nearly always a response to emotion. By gaining the ability to take conscious control of this process, and orientate ourselves to the higher plane of thoughts and ideas, we can control and regulate our emotional states by employing intentional thoughts that automatically invoke in us their emotional equivalent. By stepping into an idea and allowing the emotions associated to it take affect, we can see the emotional state that’s the natural equivalent of the thought. We can then know what types of emotions are naturally attached to certain types of thoughts, and we obtain “formulas” for transferring ideas through emotional expressions.

 
Thought itself, which is usually formed out of memory of some sort, differs with every person, but emotions are universal and something we all share in common. While our thoughts and ideas may not invoke the same emotional response in others, because thoughts are individual based largely on personal memories, emotions are thematic and act to produce imagined realities as the type of memories associated to that emotion. This thematic quality of emotions gives them a universal appeal because it determines the “type” of thoughts we think, and what type of realities we imagine based on the memories associated to the emotion. Our experiences are a combination of thought and emotion that form a unified reality as their combined outward expression. Because we come into this world in a primarily subconscious state, which forms our programming as memories that are largely emotionally based, where we experience an emotion in a life situation that we then form into a story as the expression of the emotion that makes it mean something, associating that type of idea to the emotion, which forms the memory as apart of a larger reference system. Anytime thereafter that same emotion is stimulated in us, we associate it to the same type of idea as the memory which produces a thought-process that tells the same type of story about what’s happening and becomes the basis for re-creating it by acting it out as an experience of reality. So while they may have a different memory attached to the emotion, it still creates the reality inherent in that emotion that’s consistent to the theme of the emotion. If the emotion being communicated through is “sad” and causes them to feel sad, they’ll recall the memories in which they felt sad, and use those memories to recreate a similar experience. They’ll think sad thoughts and see around them only what matches that feeling and can be used to tell the same type of story. Likewise, a feeling of enthusiasm and excitement causes them to access whatever ideas and memories that were created out of a state of excitement, and they think the same type of thoughts applying them to the present.

So the real communication, the one that’s universal in nature, is the emotional content of the communication, which comes through how we’re communicating it with our whole being; our physiology, gestures, tone of voice, facial expressions, timing and emphasis, and so on. The emotional content is the actual transference of information as associated ideas, that, while it allows for individual association of thoughts, it always organizes thoughts into the same theme of the emotion, and what thoughts they imagine in response to the emotion, will still act to express the emotion as a personification of a universal theme. What’s individualized on the higher realm of pure thought is universal on the lower realm of emotion. And what’s universal or shared in common on the emotional plane, is individualized on the higher realm of thought. Again, the universal and individual operating as opposites that are complementary, as active and passive elements of the same thing.

 
So the first step in self-mastery is learning how to control our emotional reactions, and in doing so, become aware of what memories you have associated with those emotions, and what internal realities they serve to activate in you as your unconscious and automatic reaction, where the emotion controls you, and you’re being controlled by others and your environment. First by refraining from reacting to emotional triggers, while turning your awareness inward and becoming aware of what’s happening inside of you and what memories you begin thinking about (as a theme) because of the emotion being activated that becomes the basis for a pattern of automatic behavior as an unconscious reaction. By practicing self-reflection you can begin becoming aware of the true nature of emotions, and how they keep you living out of the past as automated behaviors that keep producing the same type of realities that produce the same type of consequences. Through this awareness you can realize how emotions act to engage and control you. By becoming self-aware you can begin realizing that the emotional states of others only affect you if you let them. If you remain unaware of the nature of emotional charges as the projection or transmission of electrical currents being put off by others, and how you act to naturally receive them and become infected with them then you continue to create your life experiences without direct awareness of what’s happening. You can begin to realize how the emotions and realities being projected by others are an expression of their paradigm and have nothing to do with you, unless of course, you let it by taking it on as your own and cooperate in acting it out with them.

Through this awareness you can begin neutralizing emotions, while still maintaining an awareness of them, and be able to receive and discern the information about others they communicate, without letting them take hold and begin controlling you. Once you reach this state of being able to view and interpret emotions from an objective, non-personal perspective, whole new worlds open up and self-control becomes something that’s easy to do. And even when you get momentarily caught up in an emotional reaction being projected at you, you can catch your self midstream, and back out of it by diffusing it, and begin taking back control of our own thoughts and actions. Through this practice alone you can regain your ability to create in a more deliberate and intentional way, creating with a sense of purpose in what you do with an awareness of the consequences it renders and the series of events it sets into motion as a result.

What are the Differences between Hypnosis and Guided Meditation?

The true differences depend on what you are referring to as hypnosis or meditation in terms of how they are actually conducted as a practice. Many different styles exist for both methods of inner exploration and mind development, as well as methods taught to professionals as opposed to non-professionals, which in the case of professionals also involves an extensive amount of knowledge in several other areas, including psychology, mind and consciousness studies as well as natural and universal laws that are inherent throughout Nature and all living systems, that also govern the human mind-body system. For example, meditation, while some relate to it as calming the mind and relinquishing all thoughts, this is only one form of meditation, of which there are many varieties as a means of ‘acquiring’ inner knowledge through the universal language of Light, in which knowledge is received by first activating it, then simply witnessing it as it unfolds in a dynamic light dance of evolving forms. Whereas hypnosis tends to be purpose driven with a specific intention as a desired outcome, created by stimulating the imagination through ideas as suggestions that form an inner reality as a conceptualization that the subconscious mind can use in place of an actual experience.

 

So again, this would depend on your level of experience and method of practice, but the most noticeable difference is that hypnosis is used to achieve a specific outcome by reprogramming the subconscious mind to perform new types of behavior. It’s usually undertaken with a specific goal in mind, which determines the method used and the nature of the suggestions given it while in a relaxed and receptive state that are spontaneously introduced into the mind and developed by the imagination into vivid inner realities as experience that can be used as memory by the subconscious mind to form new patterns of behavior that are automatic and natural. They provide the subconscious aspect of the mind with a form of ‘virtual memory” as a living experience that creates a template as a form of dynamic theme for producing more of the same type of experiences. Because the subconscious operates according to memory as actual sensory enhanced realities and is emotionally driven, an idea is introduced, then developed into a sensory reality that’s imbued with strong emotions that make it very compelling. This is a basic means of ‘reprogramming the mind’ by creating intentional experiences that act as a thematic template for reproducing similar experiences, as well as toning the mind to new vibratory frequencies which form correspondences to the realities inherent within those frequencies. Vibration forms feeling states that have thematic realities as personal experiences inherent within them. Whatever realities we imagine with strong emotions and repetitively, we program ourselves to, as a perceptual lens that only sees what matches and can be used to create more of the same experiences.

The primary difference between the two is that hypnosis is undertaken with a distinct idea in mind in terms of reprogramming or healing the mind of self-created illusions (beliefs) to form new inner realities that become the basis for changing what is often habitual or conditioned behavior. It works to reprogram the mind intentionally to reshape the perceptual lens of the mind by forming new representations associated to different emotions that either make ideas compelling and desirable, or undesirable and repulsive, based on how we form associations in connection with them. Hypnosis, which is always ‘self-hypnosis’, even when conducted by a hypnotherapist who simply walks you through a process that requires you to cooperate with them by how you use your own mind and imagination to form new associations as inner experiences, is the most effective way there is to self-create by rewiring your neurology with new programming that forms the basis for automatically forming desired experiences that are health promoting, empowering, and growth oriented.

 

But hypnosis, like all things is only as effective as the hypnotherapist is skilled, and the person undergoing it fully cooperates, and is a scientific art-form that’s intuitive in nature. While meditation can also be undertaken in a similar manner, once the conscious mind, which is the directive, goal oriented mind is subdued, and only the subconscious mind is present and in an active state, you lose track of your own process or what your purpose was and begin a kind of free-form imagining. A hypnosis practitioner is required as the directive component that continues working on the imagination in place of the conscious mind with a sense of purpose and a focus on the desired outcome. They substitute as the conscious mind which is required to direct the subconscious mind to new forms of behavior born out of new inner experiences that it turns into a form of memory that provides it with a patterning for creating more of the same type of experiences through its ability to form fundamental and natural perceptions.

As a basic rule of thumb, meditation is primarily used for study by conceptualizing ideas to form realities out of them, inner exploration of various sorts, or to tune into the universal mind, form energetic sympathy with it and form an inner perception as a kind of download of universal knowledge as laws that are experienced as a means of transmission . . . whereas hypnosis is best for intentional practices designed to reprogram the mind at the energetic level to express in new ways by forming new realities that are initiated and developed through our own interactive behavior. It’s a means of self-development that intentionally develops our character as the basis for natural behavior through the realities it generates naturally as a correspondence. If you want to develop yourself in very specific ways with immediate results . . . then hypnosis, provided by a skilled practitioner, or by developing your own skill at using your mind to reshape realty, is your best method.

How we Form our Thoughts – The Role Suggestion Plays in our Daily Lives

I often get asked “can everyone be hypnotized”? Or are there some people who can’t? What this shows me is that most people don’t understand what hypnotism is or how our mind naturally operates by way of it. A better question would be, “is there anytime we’re NOT being hypnotized”? Many people spend the better part of their lives in a constant state of hypnosis, being basically unconscious of how they’re being influenced by everyone around them, and how they’re systematically “given” thoughts, that they then adopt as their own, personalize them by how they imagine them, which simultaneously modifies their paradigm by incorporating them. These thoughts then become our own, and we use them to program ourselves by way of them by simply thinking about them. Our thoughts, as our internal dialogue is the most basic form of self-hypnosis. We program ourselves by way of our own thinking. In order to understand how this works, all we have to do is look at what hypnosis is, and what laws of the mind it operates by, and then learn how to recognize those same processes as they operate in our daily lives.

 
All hypnosis can be thought of as the primary means through which a thought as a suggestion is introduced into the mind which is receptive to it, meaning, there’s no form of resistance to it. We have two aspects of the mind that are always operating in tandem to create our experience and turn ideas that are introduced into it into full fledged inner realities by imagining them. The subconscious, which is the powerhouse of the system, is programmed and operates out of memory and produces all our natural behaviors by regulating our emotional state which is attached to memories of various sorts. As emotions are stimulated in us, we reference memories associated to those emotional states and use them to perceive our outer situation. The subconscious is passive and receptive, which means as long as information is delivered in its language as an imagined reality with strong feelings or emotional content, it doesn’t resist, argue against, edit or analyze the information, but simply accepts it as an “actual reality” that it then utilizes like an actual memory producing a whole series of behaviors out of it that act to produce it as an outer experience, while simultaneously forming our perceptual lens to include the idea, connecting us to that idea in our outer environment.

The self-conscious aspect is the “thinking mind” that forms our internal dialogue as what most think of as our “thoughts”, that are a form of self-talk, and acts as the gatekeeper to the subconscious by examining and editing everything to decide what’s allowed in to take hold, and what’s resisted or declined, and therefore prevented from taking hold. Whenever we’re in a relaxed state and have no strong objections to the information being received, we are in a passive state, and readily allow ideas in. Likewise, whenever information is delivered with a strong emotional component, especially fear, the emotion overrides the logical aspect, and is instantly taken in and allowed to take hold. Emotion is like a hook that seats the idea in the psyche where its then “dwelled on” and thought about extensively. The emotion married to an idea is what determines how we develop that idea in our imagination through the meaning we give it. The meaning shapes the story we tell about it, and the emotion intensifies it. Through this process all memories are produced by emotional states of some sort, and the emotion activates the memory associated with it as our perceptual lens that restructures our outer objective reality into a personalized subjective reality by how we interpret it. Memories are an interpretation mechanisms that provide us with instant realities as a means of creating consistent types of experiences based on them.

 
The primary forms of hypnotic induction that most commonly take place in our daily lives is various forms of entertainment (especially ones that come as movies or virtual images with music and sound), researching information (with a sense of anticipation), shock or fright of some kind, experiences that have strong emotional impact, and mental entrainment that comes from a strong feeling of familiarity or resonating with someone or something, being seduced, and of course, the most powerful of all, falling in love or being mesmerized by someone or an idea about something. Naturally, fear causes us to close down, stop, avoid, move away from, or hide in some way, and love, being compelling, draws us towards things with a desire to become one with them. Both extremes, love and fear, control our thoughts and we form internal images that first produce and amplify those feelings, then act to intensify and increase them, giving us more of them. Our thoughts act as suggestions to our subconscious mind which converts them into imaginary realities that it perceives as being real or actual experiences. Because the subconscious operates out of memory and forms behavioral patterns based on memory, it turn imaginary realities into actual memories and creates automatic and natural behaviors out of them. When this happens we are living a great deal of our life out of an illusion of our own making.

The basis of hypnosis is the willing intake of an idea as a suggestion that has a strong sensory component that invokes a strong emotional response, intensifying it, that we take into our mind and begin developing it by imagining it as an actual reality or conceptualization that makes it believable, forming what the subconscious mind mistakes for an actual event or outer reality. An idea given to the subconscious as an actual life-like reality with strong emotions (making it seem actual), it interprets the same way it does an actual reality as an outer experience, and uses it as memory to form its programming. The imagined memory programs the subconscious mind with new patterns that become our perceptual lens and connects us to those same types of emotional patterns in our environment, magnetizing us to them. By imagining an idea with strong sensations, incorporates that idea as a modification to our overall mental programming as our paradigm, giving you a new way of perceiving things and new behaviors for creating and cooperatively participating in that reality as an actual experience or possibility. We naturally begin anticipating more of those same types of experiences, setting an expectation for them, and being able to create more experiences out of them by how we perceive and interpret things. We only pull out of any situation the elements that can be reshaped into our pattern as a storyline by how we interpret it to give it meaning and significance and use it as the basis for telling our story about it, while ignoring anything that doesn’t fit in.

 
If you simply sit and observe your own thoughts for awhile, you’ll notice that most of them came from some form of outer source. Even the ones that form your paradigm as the thematic storyline you’re always telling yourself about things, probably came to you through something that was said to you, some movie or video you watched, the lyrics of a song, an article you read, an idea you studied, or something you learned in school. Most of our thoughts come as suggestions from others that we continue developing by how we think about them and evolve them through various life situations or stages, and acquire them as our own, constructing our paradigm by way of them.
