Compassion – The Nature of Perception, Judgment and Self-Realization

While many people perceive compassion as an act or something you do, true compassion is the result of a state of mind that you embody as a way of perceiving others from a non-judgmental perspective. It’s the primary way we come to understand others by “understanding ourselves” in them. It’s an intuitive lens we look through that always seeks first to understand. We only truly love what we understand, and we only understand by being able to relate to that same idea in ourselves, which requires self-reflection. It’s bearing witness to someone else’s experience by looking at it through their eyes and as they are experiencing it, without the need or unconscious tendency to alter it through your judgment, and make it about you by correcting their perception, making it wrong or bad somehow (deeming your perspective more accurate and right), or reforming their experience by reliving it from your own perspective instead.

Whatever state-of-mind as an attitude that we walk through life with determines our approach and how we “see” things, as well as how we interpret what we see to give it meaning, which is what shapes our experience of it. If we have an attitude of judging, of finding what’s wrong or bad about someone or something, then we “see in them” only what warrants judgment. Through our very “perception” of something as a quality of consciousness or way of being, we “stimulate and activate” that same quality in them, bringing it out in them through the nature of our interaction as a joint expression. We can only perceive in others what’s “in us”, because it’s our model that we’re looking through in order to form our experience of them. We never really perceive others or the outer objective reality as they actually exist apart from us, but rather as we remake them through our “experience of them”, that makes them “like us”.

 Mental Paradigm as Our Lens of Perception

Our mental paradigm is constructed over many years through the incorporation of our values, beliefs, memories, preferences, temperament, etc., which together form a dynamic matrix that systematically produce our personal reality. Our personal reality is not the same as the objective reality we all share in common as a part of mass consciousness and the material world, but rather how we reformulate it through the lens of “meaning” that produces how we experience it as a personal creation. We reshape it through a process of resonance as natural selection that turns some aspects on (activates them making them stand out), while turning others off (recede and go unnoticed), where we only notice certain aspects, the ones that match our paradigm, while failing to recognize others altogether. By mentally enhancing, embellishing, or exaggerating selected aspects while downplaying others and leaving out others, we reform it to the same nature as we are as the testimony of our beliefs about it.

We assign everything the same qualities as we ourselves possess by how we interpret them to give the ideas and behaviors being expressed meaning. The meaning we give things forms the story we tell ourselves about them and how we form our experience of them as a result. Each person creates a unique experience of the same idea, event, and set of circumstances, by filtering it through their mental model, conforming and reshaping it accordingly. This is the most fundamental act of resonance, sympathetic induction, and coherence as the primary law of the mind and vibration. As we begin resonating with something, we energetically blend with and “enter into it”, becoming one with it in mind, and by how we act to influence it, we alter it by forming a new vibration that’s a combination of both as a form of offspring, where both ideas begin vibrating in harmony with each other.

The man made concept of right and wrong, and good and bad as our values forms the basis for our judgments and prejudices. In the natural world of instinct, all forces and powers simply exist as attributes and qualities that act to shape characteristics that form natural behaviors. The idea of right and wrong originated as an evaluation of what results as an expression of character that creates by producing phenomena of some sort. The fundamental appraisal of whether or not something is good or bad is usually based on whether it’s creative, constructive, and beneficial, or whether it’s chaotic, destructive, and harmful in some way. All qualities, regardless of their nature, are dual in nature and hold the potential of being good or bad based on the context in which they’re being used. All behavior is appropriate when employed under certain circumstances. Violence, when used in a destructive manner to violate, hurt, or kill for selfish reasons, would be judged (evaluated) as being bad or evil, whereas if that same act of violence was used to protect, defend, or carry out a necessary justice, it would considered good and divine in nature. Same act, different reason and context.

       Likewise, judgment itself is of a both good and correct nature, and a bad or incorrect nature, depending on how it’s being used. The mind is always using its ability to evaluate ideas and situations as the means of making decisions and acting that we call “using good judgment”. In these situations we employ an objective mindset that’s neutral and unbiased, where we openly perceive the nature of people and things involved, then make an evaluation based on what’s being demonstrated and observed, and make a decision accordingly. False judgment, the one most are referring to when they use the term “judgment”, comes as a form of prejudice that we employ beforehand and use as a lens that we look through that alters what we see to match our preconceived judgment of it. We walk into a situation with a preconceived idea or value that they themselves are not demonstrating outwardly, and we form an opinion of them based on the values we’re assigning to them, instead of the ones they actually possess, and use it as a means of interpreting their behaviors or experiences to mean what we want them to mean, rather than what they actually do mean.

Compassion is to relinquish judgment all together and seek instead to only relate and understand. It’s to embody a primary “state of love” as communion. We can only truly love what we first understand. Whatever lens we use to look through, we vibrate at that frequency, and connect to that same frequency in others, stimulating it in them, bringing it out as an active state that then forms the basis of the interaction. We serve to naturally “call forth in others” whatever is actively expressing in us, not only through the nature of our interaction, but just through our “perception of them” as an energetic interaction of stimulus-response, and action that produces a like reaction. Whatever we place our attention on (gaze at), we stimulate and reformulate by awakening certain aspects, while returning other aspects to a latent state. Our consciousness interacts with the “same” consciousness in everything else. We’re always remaking others in our own image and with our own likeness.

To be compassionate, or to more accurately embody a state of compassion, is to withhold all judgment and preconceived ideas and look upon others and the experiences their going through from “their” perspective, while relating to those same ideas in our own experiences, helping you to understand what they’re going through, or what process of realization they’re involved in. It’s to listen to them express how they’re experiencing something, what they’re contemplating, or how they’re stepping into and experimenting with an idea as a means of forming some kind of self-realization through it that will help make decisions based on it. All experience comes through experimentation of some kind that provides the basis for self-realization based on the decisions we make due to what we realize. As we experience something, we’re exploring, tapping into new aspects of ourselves stimulated and brought out through the experience, and learning about ourselves and growing as a result. We’re always learning about ourselves, others, and the way the world is through direct experience and making constant decisions about and for ourselves based on them. If we like how we feel, what we do, and who we become in a situation, we continue into it. And if we don’t, we stop it, avoid it in the future, and don’t act to repeat it. All experience is self-created and provides us with knowledge about ourselves that we use to create ourselves through choice and free will.

        As we enter into relationship with another, and bear witness to their experiences by listening to them as things were for them, while simultaneously tuning into and touching on our own experiences of a similar nature, we relate to them, and by relating to them we understand where they’re at in their learning process. We can understand what part of the process they’re in and maneuvering as a way of creating themselves by way of their own evaluation and interpretation. We can realize that same act in ourselves, and how we formed conclusions based on the same type of idea, while realizing and honoring the fact that they may form an entirely different conclusion, and simply being with them in that process, while gaining a whole new way of perceiving it. By sharing in another person’s experience while relinquishing the need to be right or more correct, and therefore modifying it, we fully engage in it as an imaginary journey that has something else entirely different to show us about new and unexplored possibilities.

Through the practice of witnessing, which is to act as a passive observer and neutral mirror for someone else’s experience by listening intently while imagining it from their perspective as it is or was for them, without changing it through our own values and beliefs (judgments), or commenting on it in any way, we not only help the other person to gain deeper realizations into the lessons of their own experiences, but we also gain the experience as a form of lesson or self-realization for ourselves by way of their experience. We’re offered the lesson without having to live it ourselves, but rather through the experience the “telling” provides, and how we merge into and relate to the experience. When we become one with another by sharing in their experiences, we acquire many more lessons that bring new and varied realizations that serve to naturally shape us through the acquisition.

Whenever we listen to someone else tell their story, or we see them in a particular situation, and we remove all judgment, we tune into that part of ourselves that have had similar experiences or events, where we’ve been in a similar situation, and had the same type of thing happen to us, and we can relate and understand what they’re going through, and we can respond or interact in kind. When we look through the eyes of judgment, we still tap into that part of us that had a similar experience or was in a similar situation, that we deny having and therefore repress and don’t own it, because we judged ourselves while in that situation the same way we’re now judging someone else. Value judgment, for the most part is “taught”, and we usually grow up judging others in the same way we were judged. We literally “do unto others as it was done unto us”. Just as we were taught to feel bad about something we did, or see ourselves as a bad person for being that way or doing what we did, we disown those parts of ourselves, pretending and convincing ourselves were not that way, while building them into our mental model as a filtering system that we look through and project onto others, seeing those same behaviors and judgments in them.

       When we’re judged we’re literally being given the criterion and means for making judgments of other as an interpretation of “this means that”. Whenever someone does this or participates in that, it means this about them, and we perceive them through our judgments just as we were perceived by others who were judging us. We’re not only taught to judge as a fundamental way of perceiving, but given the criterion as our means of applying values that draw natural and consistent conclusions. Because this training comes as part of our formative conditioning and is developed as a subconscious process that forms our fundamental way of perceiving the world, we usually don’t even realize that’s what we’re doing. In this way, all value judgments, in their most basic sense, are a form of self-creating out of an unconscious state of learned behavior.

We often think judgments are the observation of an objective reality secured by a set of “golden rules’. We imagine that these values and rules are fact and true, rather than what they really are, which is something we made up or was trained to by the opinion of others and formed an agreement around by accepting them as our own. We’re given our values and ways of perceiving as behavioral dynamics through our childhood conditioning that we continue creating out of throughout our adult life. The inner child, so to speak, becomes the adult. However we’ve been trained up to the age of seven or eight becomes the core beliefs and mental model that we continue perceiving and creating out of the rest of our life in a natural and automatic manner.

Practicing Self-Awareness and Realization

There are several practices that you can routinely employ as a means of not only gaining self-awareness of what you’re actually doing in any situation, but also as a primary means of cultivating compassion. In any situation where you realize you’re forming a judgment of someone, regardless of what it is (remove all concepts of right and wrong), catch yourself, and turn inward instead and self-reflect. Ask yourself, have I had any experiences of a similar nature? Have I been in a similar situation? Did I explore the same idea at some point in my life? Tap into the same idea in yourself, in your own experience, and use it to relate to them. Give up the need for them to experience it in the same way that you did, or draw the same conclusions based on the same values and make the same decisions, and simply use it to understand where they’re at and what they’re going through as a lesson. Ask yourself . . . am I prone to the same thing? Have I explored and experimented with the same idea? Could this same type of thing happen to me?

As you tap into and touch on that same aspect in yourself, you have the means of relating to them, and understanding them as a result. You have to be honest with yourself and not see the conclusions you drew or decisions you made because of your experiences of the same nature as the means of denying ever having them. Or the idea that if you admit it, even to yourself, that it’ll mean something bad about you (usually the same thing you’re judging the other person with). Many times we judge others as being bad or wrong somehow due to experiences we’ve never had, so of course it’s difficult for us to relate or truly understand, and if we ever do find ourselves in a similar situation, rather than understanding, we usually condemn ourselves in the same manner we’re now condemning them.

If instead, we put ourselves in the same situation, by imagining the same thing happening to us, or listening to their story and experiencing it as it was for them, we gain an understanding of them and ourselves at the same time. We can relate to how they feel, and feel a sense of compassion towards them as a result. By living out experiences with others, we gain insights into ourselves “through” them. We’re afforded the lesson without having to have the actual experience. This is the value of stories, folklore, and myths; we get to learn through someone else’s experience. Nowadays we get much the same thing out of watching movies and reading novels.

Summary:

Whatever state of mind we possess and cultivate at any given moment, become our perceptual lens, and we only “see” in everyone and everything what matches it. If we look through the lens of judgment, we see only what warrants judgment, and we remain disconnected from those same aspects in ourselves. As we judge others, we simultaneously judge ourselves in the same manner. We shape ourselves and others according to our judgments. All perception is projection. We’re only capable of seeing in others what exists in us.

If we look through the eyes of reverence and compassion, we likewise, only see what warrants that. When we go into any relationship or situation with an attitude of understanding, we “connect with others” at an entirely different level, and connect with and touch on those same ideas and qualities within ourselves, learning about ourselves in a new way. Just as we form an understanding of others, and see them as they really are when we relinquish judgment, we come to understand and truly know ourselves to the same degree. Through understanding and compassion towards others and ourselves, we form a natural love for them and ourselves. We can only truly love what we understand and relate to, because all love comes only through union with ourselves in others. We can only love others to the same extent that we love ourselves.

Religion and the Sacred Sciences – Dogma, Individuality, and Intuitive Creativity

Probably the biggest difference between the terms “religion” (as its come to be known) and “spirituality”, is one of a group experience as opposed to allegories and analogies that have to be intuitively interpreted in order to see the laws that are operating within the stories that attempt to illustrate them. Much religious doctrine is deciphered for the common person, who simply has to accept and adopt someone else’s  ideas as their own, and consider them an “accurate interpretation” that they choose to call right and accept as being true. When an interpretation is made for us and given to us in place of knowledge derived from actual experience, it requires us to “believe” in it and have faith. It doesn’t require us to “think for ourselves” or form our own interpretations, which would require an in-depth breath of knowledge of many branches of science, philosophy, and the arts, acquired only through a dedicated life of study and inquiry. It would require the devoted meditative practice of acquiring knowledge through direct experience, which integrates it, and the ability to bring it into practice in our daily life.

In the spiritual realm, creativity is of the essence, and all true knowledge exists as Laws, Principles, and Archetypes, all of which are universal in nature as “creative processes” or the natural forces and means through which things come into existence through conception of the individual mind, where they’re developed into a unique variation as a possible reality. All Archetypes and creative forces are universal in nature, providing a dynamic template as a form of ideal or prototype for creating at the individual level as a personification. All personal creations come as the result of a unique interpretation of what originates as a Universal theme that’s naturally ingrained in the human psyche.

We have been led to believe that we’re not capable or qualified to make accurate interpretations because we lack the knowledge necessary to do so, which of course is only partially true, because we’re not given the education that it requires through our conventional conditioning and have to seek it out on our own through a desire for it, and it’s only through our own interpretation that we conform to our mental paradigm, making it applicable to create at the practical level. Only what has been integrated into our mental paradigm through a fundamental and intuitive understanding of it can be utilized to create in the sense that it changes our very perception of reality and how we choose to conduct ourselves as a result.

There’s no absolute truth as an interpretation or way of perceiving something, but only in regards to the laws involved. Spiritual knowledge is written in symbolic metaphor, analogy, and allegory because it’s the universal language that’s ingrained in our very DNA as a form of subconscious code, and it’s always in an evolutionary and creative flow as adaptation and modification that produces a unique version of a common idea. When we interpret things for ourselves, we adapt and modify the basic idea according to our age and maturity, stage of growth, level of education, culture, beliefs, values, preferences, memory of past experiences, and based on how and in what way we’re going to relate and apply the knowledge in our everyday life to create by way of it. All ideas when translated by the individual to form a unique and personal version are “ideal for that individual”. There’s really no such thing as somebody else knowing and giving us our truth without any effort on our part. All truth, like all knowledge is only known through the experience of it. All theory simply provides the basis for practice as experimentation designed to create an experience of it.

The story of Moses, for example, and how he attained what became known as the 10 commandments (of Christian faith), originated as the 10 primary Universal Laws that were given to him by God as a direct experience. These Laws, were not rules meant to be handed down in a mindless way, only requiring acceptance and abeyance, but were a dynamic mathematical and philosophical system that laid out the creative process of the mind and soul for evolving itself through various stages of self-creation as the dissension of spirit into matter and the resolution of matter back into spirit as experience that formed an eternal memory. The first time he came down, he had 10 Laws written on sapphire tablets (symbolic code in itself), and when he saw the people partying, engraving idols as a means of worship, eating slain animals and fornicating, realizing the people were to ignorant and unintelligent to be able to comprehend them, he became enraged, and broke the tablets while ascending back up to the mountain top (symbolic of higher knowledge), where he converted them into rules and commandments that were written on ordinary stone. He delivered them instead as a form of dogma that “told the people what to do”, instead of requiring them the impossible task of thinking for themselves and being able to intuitively discern the laws in a way that would allow they to create in their life by using them. This story illustrates the mindset of what became organized religion that acted to interpret Laws and “give people” that interpretation as their own. In this way, the masses are trained as a unified whole or group mind, just like animals that are unconscious and instinctual in nature exist in a “herd mentality”.

The human soul sojourns through life as the means of self-creating and evolving itself through its own creations. We all have full, 100% responsibility for our own creation. Nobody else is responsible for us, and we can’t blame inaccurate perceptions and actions on other people. The term “sin” means to “miss the mark”, or think, perceive, and act out of an error. As humans, we have both a higher divine, and lower animal nature. Our lower nature is equivalent to the animal kingdom which lacks the creative ability to think, decide, and willfully act in an individual fashion. It lives out of a group mind as a herd mentality, and fails to think for itself, and instead passively accepts the will and thoughts of others as its own, and lives out of other people’s ideas which it perceives to be more correct than its own. Just accepting the thoughts and ideas of others in a passive manner, and using them as your own to create and align yourself with, also fails to provide the means for developing the higher faculty of intuition, which is necessary in order to form interpretations as clarity of thought.

Intuition comes as a form of allowing an idea in its symbolic universal form into the mind’s eye, while sensing and perceiving its spiritual, invisible nature as the laws and forces at work that merely act to organize the outer appearance as symbolic correspondences that change every time its applied or used to create. The outer appearance or material concept does not represent truth, it merely acts as the empty and passive shell for spirit as law to operate and express through. The inner qualities apparent and outwardly expressing in any idea or entity, simply act to show us it’s true nature in terms of the “mode of consciousness” it actively engages in and uses to express.

Conventional religion as we know it today doesn’t teach law as a higher form of knowledge that require individual interpretation, but forms instead a standard interpretation that the individual merely has to accept and believe in as being “the truth”. It’s based on God as a human figure that resides over mankind with the same emotional (lower) nature, only requiring our obedience and worship. It teaches that we don’t have a “direct connection” to God, and have to go through the clergy of the church instead, who advise, guide, and tell us what to do. Its designed and set-up to rule over mankind through a set of golden rules and dogma as the interpretation of those rules that appeal to and train people to be fully in and of their lower, animal-like unconscious nature of ignorance that’s incapable of making up their own mind or thinking for themselves. It promises salvation through blind acceptance of superior men having authority over us, and lays the foundation for the premise of slavery.

Spiritual Sciences, often called Secret or Scared Sciences, teaches spiritual knowledge as or of God as being consciousness Itself in all its natural forms, and the laws an archetypal principles that govern and act to produce the entire material and subtle realms. It teaches the Principles that can only be known by intuitively imagining them as an “inner experience” necessary to comprehend them in material form and provide the basis for practicing them. Knowledge as Laws and Principles are written in the universal language of symbolic imagery and dynamic systems that require individual interpretation in order to be understood and thereby applied as a practice of some form. It honors and works by way of every interpretation, just like every individual, being a unique (evolving) variable (personal creation) of the same universal (archetypal) idea. It doesn’t imply a general lack of intelligence in terms of corralling the mass population into the same school of thought by telling them what to think and training them to a concept, but rather requires an extensive level of knowledge and intelligence in order to intuitively form your own interpretation of it.

The higher spiritual realms exist in polarity as the complementary opposite of the lower, material realm, which is created and maintained by it as the laws that govern it, and where the subconscious, animal, instinctual group mind prevails and is dominant on the material plane, while individuality, uniqueness, and deliberate forms of self-creation through active use of will is dominant on the higher, spiritual planes. We only step into and embody our divine nature when we form a love and deep sense of connection with the spiritual realm over the material realm, and we use the higher capacities of our mind to think, evaluate, reason, decide, and act, and create ourselves as unique individuals, apart from and complementary to (of the same nature) other unique individuals.

When lower intelligence pursues spiritual knowledge, it does so through a system that has been laid out for it by another that it merely adopts as its own. It attracts to the spiritual ideal while still employing the animal, inability to think for itself, mindset and level of consciousness. They don’t seek true knowledge by studying laws and philosophy, but rather grab onto someone else’s idea as an interpretation and claim it as their own. They bring a sense of ignorance into the intellectual realms and argue that their interpretation, which is really someone else’s, is the correct one, and create an idea of themselves as being enlightened and superior somehow. They fail almost entirely to realize and appreciate the value of diversity in terms of perception and unique ways of looking at the same idea. They’re not willing to devote themselves to a diligent life time study and pursuit of higher knowledge required to actually think for themselves and form their own unique ideas about things, which is what’s required in order to attain it. They create a false image of themselves, much like a sorcerer imitating a Magician, as a spiritual authority and arrogantly prance around preaching by correcting other people while proclaiming to possess true knowledge, without seeming to realize that just this attitude alone demonstrates an incorrect perception as the foundation required to apprehend higher truth.

All symbolic imagery represents laws and principles as a dynamic composite of corresponding and interrelated qualities and characteristics of the same “nature”, type or kind. All allegory as stories of the same kind are representations of laws being applied in the practical sense as a life experience, which creates in a unique fashion as a theme formed into a variable as a dynamic series of relationships being acted out or created by a certain “character” or group of complementary characters. The only value, meaning, or significance of a story is to identify the “morale of the story” as the principles operating in it. All metaphor, likewise, is merely representing laws as archetypes or scenarios that represent and are active expression of laws and principles.

A variety of spiritual systems have be set-up that are symbolic and analogous in nature, all of which form a direct correspondences with each other, and provide us with the means for learning how to interpret symbolic imagery and archetypes. Some of the major ones, all of which correspond to each other and provide the “keys” for decoding the same primary set of laws, are the Qabalah (Tree of Life), Tarot (Book of Hermes), Astrology (Archetypes of the zodiac), Mythology (gods of human nature), subtle energy system of the body (microcosm), musical scale and theory, color and the vibratory spectrum of light, Angels and Demons (natural forces), all of which represent qualities of consciousness as states and natural ways of being as behaviors and operations inherent in them, architecture, sacred geometry, Hebrew alphabet, Numbers and mathematical equations, and so on. All of these systems are interrelated and correspond with each other and can be used in correlation to interpret the symbolic meaning of each other.

For example, the Tarot, based on 22 fundamental Universal Laws of descending and ascending, provides the “key” for decoding and interpreting the Qabalah. The Tarot lays out the same fundamental laws and principles as archetypes that represent states that perform certain “modes of consciousness” as an operation that’s a part of a greater creative process conveyed symbolically through a composite image of corresponding ideas, behaviors, colors, letters, numbers, sounds, elements, geometric shapes, planetary influences, and so on, that provide the means for factually, intuitively, and scientifically interpreting the symbolic imagery. Sacred Geometry is a philosophical mathematical system that represents the primary laws as form, function, and order that are the essential, life-forming laws inherent in all of nature. These all form a larger scientific system that’s of a universal nature and keeps the subtle and gross realms in a unified and holistic state.

In Spiritual Sciences each individual forms their own interpretation of ideas as the means of using a universal idea to form a personal idea of the same nature as a unique variation that still holds true to the basic idea as a theme of sorts. The interpretation produced by the individual, is ideal for that individual based on their current level of understanding, which is necessary in order to apply it in a beneficial manner. All knowledge is of Laws and Principles that can be perceived intuitively because they’re the invisible component that acts to organize the form, giving it its attributes, qualities, and characteristics, which determines how it behaves and what creative processes it naturally serves as a part of. Intuition is systematically developed through the knowledge and exercises involved in learning how to perceive and interpret invisible and unknown aspects through the relationship they form with the visible, known aspects. It develops the ability to readily perceive the spiritual aspect as the inner nature of things. It teaches you how to think, reason, evaluate, make clear decisions, and willfully act by applying the knowledge learned to your life, creating an experience of it, which is what allows you to attain it through the integration of it, modifying and updating your own mental paradigm to include it. It creates by way of obtaining knowledge of laws that become actual memory. The soul, as the spiritual, eternal aspect is comprised of memory, and only what is applied and practiced as experience becomes a part of our nature and is carried forward.

Our vibration as a quality and level of consciousness only changes based on the integration of knowledge as experience, which serves to form a dynamic system of memory. It’s only through daily devoted practice that we raise our vibratory frequency. Theory that’s not applied doesn’t alter us or our minds ability to perceive and comprehend higher forms of knowledge. It’s only by becoming one with divine knowledge as the nature of the spiritual realm that we increase our ability to resonate and be drawn up into higher dimensions. Whatever we equate ourselves with, we become like. Through experience, we associate ourselves with our experiences, relate to and identify with them, and “become” by way of our associations. We are always the sole creator of our own experiences. By acquiring spiritual knowledge in theory, and bringing it into practice by way of theory, we create our experiences, and absorb the knowledge as wisdom, becoming it in habit and memory, and we acquire the secret of ascension.

Morality and Higher Planes of Consciousness – The Ability to Receive Higher Knowledge

The spiritual perspective of personal growth and development is based out of morality, rather than physical accomplishments and worldly achievements. Naturally, many who live out of a separatist mentality want to separate intellectual (mind) and feeling (heart), posing them against each other as one being more desirable or worthy than the other, yet as we move away from purely material ideas and towards spiritual ones, we move back into the mindset of unity. What we refer to as morality exists on a higher plane of consciousness that includes the entire lower plane of the body and brain states, and acts as the power capable of controlling the lower planes, and in doing so, is able to utilize them as a means of expressing in the world in an intentional and meaningful way without being coerced or corrupted by it.

Many have been taught that morality is based on idea of what’s right and wrong, good and bad, and “rules” that we use to guide and direct our conduct, which holds a form of partial truth in the sense that it pertains to and works within the lower planes only, where rules are laid down as a form of obeying, in place of laws which require understanding and practical application. In order to use Universal Laws as a means of directing our own conduct requires more of an in-depth knowledge and ability through reasoning, choice, and will to employ that knowledge in a deliberate manner to direct our own behavior and create in a higher and purer way by working according to those laws. In the true and ultimate sense our “moral development” is our ability to rise above and separate ourselves from all the passions, emotions, and desires that govern the material plane, where they no longer control us and “utilize us” as the means to express in the world through the illusions they create.

To achieve a high, well-developed level of morality, is to detach and dissociate from the material world in terms of “identifying” with it and getting our “sense of self” from it. It’s mastering the ability to prevent the emotions being projected by others and being transmitted through the atmosphere from “entering into” and affecting you. It’s to gain an awareness and realization around your own emotional states, the ones you’ve taken on and used to shape your identity through expressing the reality they imply, and prevent them from rising in you and saturating your mind, and as a result, controlling your thoughts and perceptions. It’s about acquiring the presence of mind where you’re not influenced or controlled as the “means to an end” by any of the magnetic forces as passions that operate freely and abundantly within the material (astral) plane.

Possessing high morality is to be “in the world, but not of it”. It’s to gain a full awareness of how the astral forces of the magnetic plane operate “in and around you”, while maintaining a steadfast awareness that’s not moved or influenced by them. It’s the ability to exercise full use over your will at all times, and never allow someone or something else to take control of it. It’s the ability to stand in the presence of intense emotions that magnetically appeal to your passions in some way (pleasure, power, greed, wanting, needing, etc.), to witness or be in the presence of activities that normally engage you unconsciously, and not only be able to resist them (temptation), but not even allowing them to produce an effect in you. Resisting isn’t hard when you no longer feel passionate about something. When you no longer feel a desire for something, or somehow need the experience it offers to fulfill some longing or void inside of you in order to be alright, you step into a higher form of consciousness that’s able instead to “use” the magnetic fluids and Elements of the material plane (emotions and passions) in a willful manner to create in an intentional and deliberate way.

The way to “ascend” the laws governing one plane is to rise to the plane directly above it and operate by way of its laws, which exist in polarity to the lower plane and act to determine and govern it. What this means is that we can’t work within the “divine planes” through the same laws that govern the lower plane that’s created and controlled by entirely different forces. The material plane is the plane of the subconscious mind, governed by and through which “instinct” operates through passions, emotions, and unconscious impulses of some sort that produce automatic behaviors that don’t require thought, decisions, or will to act out. When the human soul, which is divine in nature, comes into the lower planes of mineral, plant, and animal consciousness, possessing higher capacities of the mind as the ability to think in an individual manner, evaluate situations in order to make calculated decisions, and the will to intentionally and deliberately act out those decisions, and it becomes subject to the magnetic forces of the astral plane (Earth’s atmosphere) through its coupling and bonding with an animal-body, which renders it largely unconscious and driven by compulsions of one form or another, self-awareness and choices become primary keys to freeing itself from the lower rungs, and acting as a powerful creator by utilizing its will to command and direct the magnetic forces of the material plane instead.

As a general rule, we can’t control whatever is acting to control us. If we can’t resist the desire, the craving and addiction, the insatiable need for something we don’t have, then we are controlled by and become subject to it. So it’s not about whether or not to engage in activities based on man-made rules about them that have been laid for us to follow in order to be considered “good and righteous” people. It’s about stepping outside of the concept of both good and bad, right and wrong, should and shouldn’t, and not be compelled by the passions and emotional states of either one, and in doing so, lose all passion (to or away from) for the ideas that govern our material body as a member of the animal kingdom born out of a form of training as blind acceptance of other people’s ideas for you. It’s not being swayed one way or the other by concepts of complementary opposites necessary to define yourself where you begin defining yourself instead as being separate, apart from, and unaffected by them. Through this form of self-awareness comes the ability to consciously work “through them” to create an influence in the mind of those still living primarily out of their unconscious nature, and able to direct them towards a form of awakening to their real nature as a result.

All of what has been labeled “sin” is merely an error in thinking and misuse of our ability to choose and act based on our own thoughts about things. As we think, we create the reality of our thoughts, first inwardly as what forms our perceptual lens and tunes us to the vibration of that reality, which then resonates and forms a gravitational field with that same type of reality all around us. As we think and imagine we connect ourselves to the outer equivalent of our thoughts. We keep ourselves “tuned to the frequency” of our thoughts, where we act as a tuner and receiver to draw in and internally express more of the same type of thoughts. We determine what we (our body) acts as a channel and vehicle for based on how we calibrate ourselves through repetitive thoughts that become habitual as our formative conditioning.

We all have the ability to break patterns as unconscious tendencies, wake up to what we’re really actually doing out of a primarily unconscious state, and begin intentionally acquiring spiritual knowledge that aids us and provides the basis for our awakening through awareness of who we are and what’s actually going on, so we can learn to use our divine, higher capacity of thought, choice, and free will to intentionally begin disconnecting from our habitual patterns and perceptual dynamics, and intentionally begin contemplating other ideas and concepts that change the way we think and perceive, and therefore change how we perceive ourselves and what we naturally form a connection with in others and the outside world. By thinking and feeling in new ways, we begin tuning into those ideas all around us, and they multiply and grow in dominance to the point where they take on a life of their own, and a literal shift in consciousness takes place that moves us to a higher level of self-awareness and creativity.

Our moral development is more about our character and the type of person we become through our own ability to make decisions for ourselves as to what we engage in and become a part of (like) and what we don’t. It’s something that we are fully responsible for as awake and conscious beings that have the ability to self-create by way of our own mind and hand. It’s detaching from the constant emotional states of our body that drive us through the illusions they create, and keep us in bondage of an unconscious existence as being controlled and determined by them. By disassociating from our material existence and residing instead fully within our divine nature, we are no longer compelled by passions and physical urges, and as a result, are not affected by them.

Once we fully gain the ability to direct our own mind and consciousness, and not let others or passionate states take control of us and command our will, we step into our “true nature” as powerful creators of our self and our reality and begin exercising our ability to impose a powerful influence on others and “collective unconscious” of the world which is still governed by emotions of some form. By relinquishing all passions, desires, and material needs as a way of creating ourselves through the illusion they provide, we no longer harbor the need to control others through agendas of some sort, and lose the need to acquire material possessions and play significant roles in the grand illusion of society, and we step more into a universal identity that’s of an entirely different plane all together that’s not affected or determined by this one.

All of our choices and actions become based on our identity as a superior being that has no needs to somehow strive to fulfill through material means, and we begin working “in the world” by mastering our ability to work by way of the forces that control it to the benefit of humanity as a whole of which we are no longer invested outside of its potential for ascension to higher planes of consciousness. When we act as a “neutral force” in the world we acquire the ability to willfully influence it by directing it along a course that serves the greater good of all involved in terms of their soul’s evolution. When we begin working agenda free in every situation, we become a force for good in the world that acts always for the benefit of the whole. Higher consciousness is a unified state that perceives the world around it as “one” and the same, and realizes that one small action creates a rippling effect that multiplies as it propagates through space and time, effecting and modifying the entire astral plane of information.

To achieve higher morality is to have total control over your physical nature and be able to always make good decisions that take everyone involved into consideration. It’s to achieve a state that lacks physical desire and primal needs, and all agenda’s and manipulative schemes as a result. It’s to embody a “self-less” state that always puts itself in service of others because it has no needs to be fulfilled by others and circumstances. It’s the ability to walk into any relationship or situation, not looking to “get”, but instead only to “give” because you’ve learned how to draw your source of power from a purely internal means. By maintaining a “neutral and unbiased state”, we act to neutralize and bring it back into an balanced state of harmony the emotional forces all around us that are actively expressing by unconsciously controlling the will of others. Neutrality acts to temper the active forces in any situation because it doesn’t “take them on and act to amplify them”, and can “direct them” through the simple fact that we’re not “controlled by them”.

When we achieve a state of high morality we maintain principles in a steadfast manner and make conscious decisions for ourselves and our life that set high standards for ourselves. A standard in this case is a level of consciousness where a certain quality of consciousness is being played out and expressed that creates a certain type of reality as an “ideal” (of a higher order) consistently. It never falters from this standard because it can’t be “degraded” by lower forces that fail to produce and effect in it. A person of high morality is a person that “represents” higher standards as a code of conduct that they consistently live out of. Not as a set of rules that they hold themselves to or impose on themselves to control temptations from degrading ideas, but as a state of mind and internal nature (character) that’s literally incapable of moving outside of that level of consciousness in order to create in a lower manner, and is therefore immune to contamination and corruption.

Spiritual Guidance – Psychics, Spirit Guides, and Our Higher-Self

The idea of spiritual guidance, like all things, means different things to different people, so in order to talk about it in a meaningful way, we have to start by defining it. Spiritual guidance indicates receiving information about something that concerns us from a non-local source other than ourselves. We’re asking for guidance from what is sometimes an unknown or somewhat ambiguous source. In the most natural sense of what we could call “ongoing guidance”, we’re always resonating with and drawing in information as ideas from the ether as the unified field that we’re all submersed in and an active part of. This information in the truly spiritual sense exists as archetypes (whole ideas) that come as scalar energy (unified form) that has both acoustic and optical (dual) properties, and as it enters into our mind, unfolds as a feeling that spontaneously  produces an inner voice and mental impressions as expanding on an existing idea, revealing what was previously hidden aspects, that come as the result of a “transmission of information” as realizations of some sort.

In the purely spiritual sense, we are given the ability to self-create through choice and free will, and are we are ultimately fully responsible for all of our own creations. The individual right to make decisions and willfully bring them about as a reality that provide us with experiences of our own creation are NEVER violated in the spiritual sense because they can’t be. We are only capable of “accessing and drawing in” information that we act as a natural receptor for through resonance. All information from the spiritual realm of pure energy as archetypal ideas in their potential state, come as realizations around ideas that present us with new opportunities to decide for ourselves. It (information as an outside source) never makes decisions for us, “tells us” what to do, or gives us “point blank answers” to questions. Answers as guidance come through a form of coincidence, introspection, and synchronicity as a chain-of-association, that provides us with new insight around something that brings what was previously unknown elements into full awareness where we gain instant clarity around them, and through the newly acquired awareness we naturally decide.

Any questions and inquiries are directly linked to the answers in the environment around us. Just by wondering about something and thinking about it in an in-depth manner, forms a kind of gravitational field to the answer in everything outside of us. Inquiring about something internally as a true desire to know, sets an intention in place as a vibratory frequency (all thoughts form electromagnetic fields) that resonates with that same idea in everything else, giving it prominence where it stands out, we notice it, and as we place our attention on it we draw it into our mind by thinking about it, and as a result gain new information regarding it. Everything in what we call the “spiritual realm” is energetic in nature (pure consciousness) and requires a local mind and a material body in order to be “received and interpreted” as a coherent part of our personal reality.

We can’t act as a conduit for something we don’t honestly have a desire for, what our mental paradigm won’t allow us to comprehend, or that doesn’t already exist as a form of memory. Whatever we have memories around, we think about and create as conceptualizations in our imagination (memories are replayed and relived in the imagination), programming us to the frequency of that idea as a form of theme, and we become magnetized to it in everything around us, drawing in and interacting with that same idea as it exists in our environment. We can’t obtain or act as a channel for anything we can’t conceptualize, comprehend to the point of forming and internal representation of, or that’s not a part of our soul’s memory in terms of similar experiences.

The only thing that can “come to us” is what’s of the same nature (memory) as we are. When something doesn’t come naturally, it’s because it’s not meant to. It’s because we’re not ready for it in terms of maturity and growth, or where we’re at in a greater process as a phase and stage of our life, or we’re simply not of the same idea in terms of our constitution (frequency), and therefore don’t act to attract and absorb it as an idea that that has the potential for becoming a reality. We only “receive” what we ask for through a desire and imaginary thought process. We only find what we “look for” and intentionally seek out. We only penetrate an idea, or open closed doors through a constant form of action taken on an idea that we’re presented with. When we sit back in a state of limbo not taking any affirmative action because we’re not sure of anything, waiting for stuff to magically come to us, we don’t act as a magnet for anything. All things only come to us when we decide and take action on those decisions, which opens up a means for new things to come into play through the activity itself.

All knowledge is acquired through a desire and connection to it and through constantly pursuing and engaging in the activity of acquiring it by becoming one with it experientially. We only obtain what we have a love for, connection to, and strong desire for. Whatever we form an internal representation as living concept, becomes a frequency that we act to program ourselves with, and we become an antenna and magnet for it. A thought that’s imagined with intensity (turned into a sensory reality) forms an electromagnetic field as a vibratory frequency that has a self-organizing mechanism inherent in it. This organizational mechanism acts to attract and naturally bring about more of that idea as an experience that allows us to gain deeper and deeper forms of self-realization. We don’t need to ask “anyone” for our own answers, we simply have to tune into our own thoughts and feelings regarding it, form a strong desire for it by associating positive and compelling emotions to it, setting an intention and desire for it, then pay attention to any form of associated ideas that come to us from a variety of sources in our immediate environment. As associated ideas come to us we intuitively recognize them as a form of inspiration that brings realization into the true nature of the idea. This realization “is” the guidance.

When we turn to other people as professed “psychics” or clairvoyants, asking for information about ourselves and our life, we’re opening ourselves to a large array of what can be very deceptive or incorrectly interpreted information. Psychics work by reading the energy around you which comes as feelings that form a mental impression as symbolic metaphorical images, which are sometimes accompanied by a voice as the meaning of the images. These mental impressions are a form of memory that’s imprinted in your aura (mind-field) as thoughts that you dwell in repetitively with strong emotions or that are of an intense nature. While it’s possible for anyone to literally “read someone’s mind” by forming rapport with them, and seeing their mental impressions or “hear” thoughts as more of a feeling, it still has to be interpreted in terms of what it means, and when this happens, you’re now working out of the psychics mental paradigm, and who knows if the interpretation is going to be accurate or not. As anyone knows, observing a situation from a detached perspective and not really able to identify with it, as opposed to being “in the experience” having it as a part of a larger congruent reality, can be very different.

When you rely on someone else to tell you what your answers are and what your direction in life should be, or what decisions you should make in different situations, you’re literally letting them take control of your will, your life, and your soul’s destiny. You’re relying on someone to “know” for you, instead of knowing yourself. The entire goal of the soul within the material realm is to become self-aware, and to gain deep realization into its true nature and ability to willfully self-create. This only comes by self-reflecting, turning inward and recognizing your own feelings, becoming aware of your true nature, what you feel a strong love for and connection to, and making decisions based on that.

True inner guidance comes by connecting to our self on a higher plane, through what’s called our “Higher-Self” or “Superconsciousness”. This aspect of ourselves (notice this is always plural) exists on a higher plane that’s “above this plane” and therefore able to see it in its entirety, while simultaneously acting as the choreographer for it. Our Higher Self communicates with us through our own inner voice that’s being used by a different authority, and nearly always takes on a parental attitude of teaching us by discussing things with us, allowing us to gain deeper insights into them, or as a lover that’s exceedingly intimate and is a fundamental part of us that always has our best interest in mind, while knowing everything about us. In this relationship there’s never a self-serving agenda involved, no errors in thinking or perceiving, and all guidance as answers to our inquiries come as experiences that expand our awareness around things, providing us with the information we need to make a clear decision with full accountability as to what they’ll produce.

All of our actions, which come as a continuum of feelings, thoughts, and emotions that create a reality by living out a story about it, are creative in nature and we incur karma because of them. All actions produce an effect of an equal or greater magnitude. The decisions we make, and what we do because of those decisions, form who we are as a person and imposes a direction on our life. Whenever we look outside of ourselves to someone or something else, whether an actual person or “spirit guide”, looking, not for insight around ideas, but for a decision to be made for us, we throw fate to the wind, and sell our soul by becoming a channel for others to command our will. As a general rule, we should NEVER give our will over to another by letting them make decisions for us, or tell us what to do, and therefore “control us” as a result.

What’s commonly referred to as “spirit guides” or “ascended masters”, can mean a variety of things based on what system a person has been trained under, and what they’re actually “connecting with and accessing” as a result. But all are “entities” of various sorts that are usually metaphorical in nature as mythological gods, wise people who have gone before us, or even animal spirits that represent qualities and characteristics as behaviors that are ideal for performing natural operations. Angels and daemons, for example, represent individual qualities and characteristics that only perform certain operations, and are not composite beings that have free will. Humans are the only beings within the material realm that are imbued with the ability to choose and the will to actualize that choice as an experience of reality. As we choose, we set a reality into motion that creates and gives us a certain type of experience as the result of our choice. If we don’t like it, we’re free to make alterations or new decisions to change it, and if we do like it, then we keep going and continue creating more of that reality. Either way, the choice is ours.

What many people refer to as “God”, is in reality, our Higher-Self on a higher dimension, that we’re intimately connected to, and who knows the divine plan of our life that was laid out as a pattern before we were ever born into a physical body. The whole purpose of our physical existence is to live out as an experience the pattern of our karma, which was created in whole before we were ever born. Choice and free will is not a fact or an illusion, but rather something that was decided and willfully set into motion from a higher plane as the enactment of our accumulated decisions as an ongoing creative process. Karma, is what we call the “absolute law” because it works out of vibration, which automatically produces the pattern of that vibration as a reality that provides us the experience of it. We only truly learn (form and develop) through experience, which forms all of our memories. Our paradigm as our mental structure or “model of the world”, is formed through accumulated memories that are all integrated to form a harmonious cohesive whole. This life and all that proceed out of it are based on vibratory frequency as an indigenous pattern. There’s no getting around or side-stepping this. Whatever frequency we vibrate at determines the pattern we naturally form as our “perception” of ourselves, others, and the world in general. Our life is the way it is because it’s how we perceive it, and the relationship we form with ourselves in everything else, that forms a consistent story line, that we live as a consistent outer experience.

Every decision we make, moment by moment, that determines our actions, is creative in nature. We willfully (intentionally) act out our decisions, turning them into reality as the expression and experience of them. When we give other people the right an ability to make decisions for us, we surrender our creative power within our own lives, and give it to others to create for us. Any decisions and action taken on that decision renders karma (cause and effect). Only humans are gifted with the ability to self-create by making decisions for themselves and acting out those decisions to produce an experience of reality that simultaneously creates them by way of that experience.

The animal kingdom, and even the divine kingdom outside of humans (as far as we know), don’t have the ability to choose and self-create through those choices to develop new qualities and characteristics that alter or determine their destiny. This is purely a human gift based on the “fall of angels” who acted collectively to create the human race, giving us multiple qualities and composite characteristics. We are complex beings formed out of “unique combinations and dynamic formulas” that we are in charge of producing, rather than singularities as single qualities that always act to perform the same operation in an automatic and routine fashion. We are composite beings who can direct our own development and how we naturally express to create realities based on the accumulative experiences gained from our choices and the reality those choices produced as an experience that forms our soul’s memory, out of which we continue to make decisions and form similar experiences as an ongoing evolutionary process.

The Self-Conscious Mind, the False Ego, and the most Basic Form of Ignorance

What we call the “mind” is three-fold in nature, as three aspects that systematically birth each other as outgrowths, all of which perform different functions as a unified being within a multi-dimensional reality. These three aspects of the mind are what we call the Higher-mind, the lower or subconscious mind, and the self-conscious or conscious mind. The Higher mind exists in a primary unified state and contains both lower aspects of the mind in their potential state. The Higher Conscious acts to birth the subconscious mind as it descends into material reality as the intelligence that constructs and then inhabits the body, which then births the self-conscious mind as a natural growth and development process. We are born into life with a subconscious mind that contains the latent potential of the self-conscious mind, which doesn’t begin forming until the age of seven or eight, and becomes fully active between fourteen and twenty eight. The self-conscious mind is what most think of when we use the term “mind”, and is the brain (grey matter) consciousness as the “thinking mind” that thinks in verbal terms as our internal dialogue. The conscious mind, for the most part remains almost completely unaware of the subconscious mind, which thinks in “experiential” terms as imaginary, sensory realities, and is the aspect of the mind that is fully awake throughout the entire life span of the body and operates all the biological systems of the body, without ever resting, sleeping, or turning off, unlike the conscious mind.

The self-conscious mind is the brain aspect of the mind that’s fully identified with the body and forms our basic identity as what we call our “false ego”, and is what forms the most basic form of ignorance as a form of mis-identification. It’s self-aware in terms of body image and it’s perception of the outer world, and thinks almost exclusively in materialistic terms, but remains predominately unaware of the subconscious mind as its true nature and what serves to sustain it. The subconscious mind, which is the primal consciousness that fully manages the body while interacting energetically with the outer environment, is what structures and develops the brain and births the brain-consciousness giving it life, yet the conscious mind fails to recognize this fact because it doesn’t have a direct awareness of the subconscious mind, and so perceives itself as being independent of both the subconscious and higher consciousness of the soul.

This aspect of the mind, being of the brain, is mortal and temporary in nature, because it’s identified with and dependent on the brain as an organ of the body, existing only as a concept of itself “as” the body, and so it “dies” with the body. This is the aspect of the mind that’s often referred to as the “ego”, when it should more accurately be called the “false ego”, because the soul develops and bonds itself to whatever it associates and identifies with, and is not only what spawns the body-brain identification, but has developed and formed through many identities and multiple lifetimes. Just as the subconscious mind is the same aspect of the mind we share with the plant and animal kingdom as a form of mass, shared, or collective unconsciousness, in humans, we have a higher capacity through the conscious mind that imbues us with the ability to shape our own identity by creating an “image” of ourselves, and thereby determining our own destiny as a form of co-creation within the material world. Through this ability to self-create and become an individual, we also form a part of the mass or shared consciousness of the creative, spiritual realm.

Ignorance is formed from the basic sense of a lack of awareness that doesn’t comprehend its other, immortal aspects, and perceives itself instead as independent of its subtle, spiritual, or unconscious aspects which actually served to create it by birthing it, and sustain it throughout its lifetime. When we identify with our body and material existence through a basic form of a lack of awareness, we perceive death as an annihilation of the “self”, because it’s the death of our brain consciousness of the body as our outer awareness. If however we recognize the other aspects of ourselves that are subtle and subliminal in nature, and we identify with our spiritual nature that created and gives life to our body, we become immortal because this aspect of our consciousness is actually independent of the body and simply exits and “sheds” the body, which is what causes it to die. The body is only “alive” (operating as a biologically active system) when the soul is inhabiting it. The subconscious is birthed into the material body by the higher consciousness (from a purely spiritual plane), and is the immortal aspect of the self, and what forms the “life” of the body, and expresses through the body in a completely natural and automatic fashion as the most prominent use of will, that’s the natural expression of the Higher Will, being acted out without resistance of any kind, and is what establishes the personality of the body as the accumulated experiences acquired through various identities from previous lifetimes, as the souls “karma” that forms the “paradigm” of the mind and gives it all of its natural perceptions and tendencies.

Karma is the natural paradigm of the soul as the mind (vibratory frequency), and forms our natural disposition, temperament, talents and developed abilities, tendencies, thematic perceptions, and natural behaviors as our personality, which are reactivated, brought out and expressed through our formative conditioning that sets the outer stage and mental state to continue creating our life through the same patterns as we left off in the previous life. The soul develops through accumulated experiences (which are all self-created) through many perspectives and life conditions, circumstances, and situations, that are integrated and harmonized to modify, develop, and reform the paradigm of the mind, and becomes the memory we continue living out of as a means of creating ourselves by way of our own self-created experiences (interpretations) that form the evolutionary growth of our soul as our eternal and immortal self.

The conscious mind is simply the identity formed and taken on in this lifetime as a body within a certain set of conditions and circumstances that form the basis for our life situations, which we use to create our experiences out of. The conscious mind is the “material mind” in terms of its limited awareness (located within space and time) as the body. When it “wakes up” and recognizes that it has multiple aspects as states of being, and the subtle, intuitive communication as feelings and mental impressions coming from an internal and invisible realm of pure consciousness that its always engaged in “talking to and with”, it can then choose to align itself with its “whole self” as the expression of the divine will that created it. Through alignment with all aspects of ourselves we can become aware of why we’re the way we are in terms of our karma as tendencies and psychological patterns that we’re always in the process of repeating, we can act in our own life to resolve patterns by first becoming aware of them, gaining self-realization around them as our own creation, and then act willfully to transform perceptions, direct our thoughts and become conscious of our behaviors, in order to break old patterns, and form new ones that are more creative, productive, and healthy. Through self-awareness and active use of our will, we can become conscious creators and act to facilitate our souls growth in an intentional and deliberate manner, instead of continuing to live out unconscious patterns that are degrading to the souls evolution and keep us attached to lower forms of expression that ultimately prevent us from ascending to higher levels of self-expression. The conscious mind, through its current identity has the power of choice and free will to actively make changes and reprogram the subconscious mind by embodying new qualities that create new types of experiences of itself, but of course it has to realize it has this ability and begin actively participating in its own development instead of living its life in a predominantly unconscious, disconnected and haphazard manner.

Learning how to Exercise the Powers of our own Mind

When we use the term “meditation”, who knows exactly what it means, because like all words and ideas it means different things to different people. Some perceive it as stopping all thought as internal dialogue or calming the “talking mind”, others call it blending into the void (nothingness) and emptying the mind, which is kind of the same idea, others achieve it through chanting or repeating a sound or word as a mantra (which is a basic method of trance induction); and others may be completely confused or unsure of what it means. Yet, all of these ideas are true and untrue at the same time. Meditation, which is a form of trance or self-hypnosis, is primarily a calming or stilling of the internal dialogue (self-conscious mind) as the fluttery,  jumping from one subject to the next, or the type of thought that’s automatic, uncontrolled, and runs on and on about stuff in a repetitive manner like a “broken record”, stuck on replay, and instead forms a calm and passive state of mind and through a deepened state of concentration, enters into a singular mind with the idea or concept being concentrated on. Through this single-mindedness of becoming one with an idea, we penetrate that idea or enter into it as it (resonance), giving it life inside of us by thinking about it in terms of what we already know about it, which initiates and unfolding process, much like a growth process, which continues unfolding beyond the boundaries set by our current perception, where we attain knowledge of it by simply witnessing or observing it as it continues to unfold, revealing it’s secrets to us, allowing us to “attain knowledge” by being in a passive and receptive (trance) state.

It’s only through this passive state of simply focusing on and observing an idea in motion inside of us that we’re not acting to control, that we truly learn through direct experience. Anytime we’re in a controlled state of only thinking about what we already know or believe we know, and controlling the idea to fit our idea about it, we can’t readily perceive anything outside of it. While we’re in control of our thinking, we can only perceive (produce) more of the same type of thinking. When, however, we fixate our mind on an idea, and penetrate it by concentrating on it in a single-minded fashion, stimulating it into motion within us as a kind of growth process of deepening into its internal nature, we “see” it as it actually is, apart from us (not modifying it with our active mind). As we move into it with a neutral and unbiased mind it begins moving inside of us as a living force, and begins revealing its true nature to us. We then attain knowledge of it by simply observing it as it forms and moves within our mind as a living idea.

Anytime we become fully present and engage in an activity with full awareness as concentration, free of distractions or thoughts that replace and cover over or modify our actual experience, we are in a meditative state. When we practice constant meditation by becoming fully present with what we are doing, and we become one with our experience of the present activity or idea we’re engaged in, we form realization around it that brings a new awareness of it that went unnoticed with a half-minded state of constant distraction and mental preoccupation that prevents us from being in the present. By being present and concentrating our attention on what we’re doing and our experience in doing it, we attain constant realizations that eluded us whenever we weren’t paying attention. Many people as a general rule can spend the better part of their life never present with what they’re doing and how they’re being, but rather caught up in a constant thought process that has nothing to do with what they’re doing. Because of this human tendency to be consumed by a wandering, fluttery, spaced out mind, we can live the better part of our life from an unconscious delusional state. Because of this, we fail to learn and grow from our experiences, and simply run the same type of thoughts over and over, creating our current experiences out of delusions or beliefs of the past, and failing to learn through realization only obtained in the present.

A state of meditation, comes from our ability to control our mind, stay focused in the present, and penetrate ideas born out of our daily practices as concentration on the now. All true knowledge as an inner realization only comes to us through direct experience. It’s our experiences obtain with an open mind that show us the true nature of things. Our mind, through concentrated attention void of verbal thinking, or superimposing a belief over the present experience changing it, and simply being present with it, observing and experiencing it as it is, attains knowledge “of it” through self-awareness. All knowledge comes to us by becoming “one with an idea”, and perceiving it by being it. By being the mode through which it expresses, we perceive it “as us”. We become the channel through which it becomes realized as an inner experience or realization.

This penetrative quality of the mind that learn by entering into, uniting with, and becoming the same as (vibration, sympathetic induction, and coherence), can be easily understood through extended practices of deep concentration on an idea, free from all distractions and the need to “control the idea” with preconceived notions. By thinking about an idea with a singular mind, we resonate with it, enter into it, become the same as it, and learn about it from within it or within us. By “being the same as it” in body, mind, and spirit. By taking on the same quality and consciousness. We perceive it by conceiving of it (allowing it to impregnate us). We understand it from the perspective of being within it or having it within us, by experiencing it through our mind. In this way, all learning as the realization of truth comes as an inner process of concentrated thought which acts as a “receptor”. Our mind has the ability to enter into (sympathize with) ideas, and gain knowledge of them from the inside out. We become one with its consciousness, and understand it by observing its reality from the same mind-set.

So we don’t necessarily meditate to control or stop thinking and blend into a void or nothingness, which is only the initial stage of meditation that frees the mind from random thoughts that distract it, scattering its power to concentrate, but rather as the means for inducing a trance state that removes the conscious mind (talking mind) from its normal state of dominance, rendering it passive and inactive, and making the passive and receptive subconscious (experiential) mind dominant and active instead. Once we calm the sporadic automatic thoughts, creating an empty spaciousness as an open arena, we can introduce an idea into our mind as a kind of seed with hidden potential, and grow it by giving it our full, undivided attention. Through concentration we penetrate it, activate it, become the same as it in mind and body, and gain realization of it by being one with it (within us). We gain “knowledge of it” through the self-realization of being the same as it. Through focused concentration on a single idea for extended periods of time, we know it inside and out, and it becomes a permanent part of us. We incorporate it into our mind (paradigm) as an experience, which becomes memory. Once we form a memory of it as a direct experience of it, it can be recalled and referenced, and exists as an inherent and natural part of us. We only “attain” knowledge, as self-knowledge through exercising the concentrative powers of our mind (will).

By concentrating our attention on an idea, becoming one with it, we become the same as it, vibrate at the same level of consciousness, and readily perceive that same consciousness of the idea in everyone and everything around us. Once we “know and understand” an idea, it’s fully integrated into our paradigm or mental structure, which forms the lens and filtering system that we look through to perceive everything else. Once we know by becoming the same as, forming a memory of it as our soul’s structure, we resonate with that idea, no matter what form it takes on in everything around us. It becomes a natural part of us and helps form our understanding of everything else. Our experiences become memory which inform us by giving us instant interpretations of what appears to be random information (organizes everything into coherent patterns). Once we attain a memory of something, the knowledge in that memory remains apart of us and is instantly recalled and associated as a part of our normal mental processes of perceiving ourselves (the same structures) in everything external to us. Meditation is the method of learning through direct internal experience of the internal nature of the idea itself (soul-to-soul), where we become fixated on, and experience it from within us as an inherent part of us.

The True Reality of Forgiveness – Waking up in the Midst of Your Own Dream

A Problem can’t be Solved from the Same Mind that Created it . . .

In order to truly understand the reality of forgiveness, we have to look squarely at the nature of what we call “reality”. Reality, in the general sense that it’s commonly used, is whatever we perceive as being “real” in terms of what we naturally “see” in any situation, what we have a shared belief around, and what we automatically engage in with others who willingly participate in co-creating the same type of reality with us. What’s real to us is a product of our own “quality of consciousness” as our “state-of-mind” which acts naturally to generate different “versions of reality” as the outer expression of our inner dialogue that forms pictures in our imagination. Our reality, as the creation and expression of our consciousness, is formed out of the “perceptual lens” that we “look through” as the means of “seeing” the outer world and interpreting it in a way that gives it the same meaning as our internal world. We’re always in the process of telling ourselves a story about what things mean that forms and expresses our relationship with everything in the world around us. What we “see” in any situation is of the same level and quality of consciousness as we are, and we act naturally to tell the same type of story by living it out through drama’s and the behaviors that ensue from those dramas through the activities that are naturally inherent in our “story”. We literally shape ourselves through the type of story we’re always in the process of telling by how we live our life.

We create a specific “type of reality” as an expression of our consciousness that’s a form of “illusion”  constructed out of our “belief system” as an interrelated series of harmonious patterns that form an overall theme as our Soul’s vibratory frequency. A frequency is formed out of interwoven correlated vibrations (range of vibration) and contains a “thematic pattern” along with a self-organizing mechanism that works through a series of “filters”  to “select” only the parts of a greater whole that can be harmoniously used to create a specialized pattern. All qualities and levels of consciousness vibrate at specific frequencies that systematically order, organize, and project reality as the theme inherent in that frequency. These patterns which are a fundamental aspect of consciousness as our soul’s memory are creative in nature and generate thematic realities as our perception. This means that our vibratory frequency is a quality and level of consciousness as primarily a belief system or series of interrelated and congruent patterns that all create a cohesive and consistent version of reality as a “life theme” or consistent drama that we perceive naturally, attract and are attracted to, and are always in the process of acting out as a certain “type of experience” with those of the same consciousness and thematic patterning as we are.

We naturally engage in these correlated dramas with others because they’re our “own creation” and therefore seem real to us and have a direct affect us as a result. We have strong feelings and memories associated with them that keep us in a constant state of reacting to them. Whether we perceive them in a pleasurable and profound way, or a painful and destructive way doesn’t really matter, because we’ve shaped our identity around them by playing them out as life dramas to create specific types of experiences. Because we’re immediately effected by them and always in a reactive state in relation with them, they always have a significant impact on us in terms of our identity and development. Because our perception of reality is actually our own creation, we think tit’s real in the objective sense, and don’t initially realize that we are in fact the one creating it by what we choose to focus on, think about, and imagine as a living scenario.

Due to the fact that the inner and outer reality is actually a continuation of the same idea as a life theme (smaller pattern playing out within a larger pattern of the same kind and type), we respond to the outer stimulus in an intimate manner and create the experience of everything “happening to us” from an outside source that’s beyond our ability to control it. Our experiences arise from a predominantly unconscious state that’s based on the illusion of separation, because separation is necessary as the means of experiencing “our self through another”, and as a means of shaping ourselves through an ongoing drama that’s produced by our own creative imagination. While we tend to think that our memories of the past are based on an accurate account of actual events, they’re not, they’re based on our “interpretation” of actual events that created how we “experienced” those events based on the “meaning” we gave them. Out of meaning comes the moral of the story we begin fashioning of ourselves as a means of shaping our identity by how we get a “sense of ourselves” within our own self-made experiences of a greater reality that’s a projection and reflection of our inner reality.

As long as we maintain the illusion of separation and don’t realize that others are reflecting back to us the complementary aspects of our own hidden nature that we’re fundamentally unaware of, we continue to create the same type of experiences with others where we perceive them as being able of hurt or attack us, or ultimately act to shape and determine us through their behaviors and how they treat us. It’s easy to find this idea confusing because the traits someone else displays in “hurting us” aren’t traits we possess our self in the direct sense, but are complementary traits necessary to activate the traits in us that cause us to self-inflict our own pain. If I have a life-theme as a story about myself as “not being good enough”, I naturally attract and enter into relationship with people who will somehow treat me in a way that causes me feel as if I’m not good enough. They will play the complementary role in keeping my pain active and alive. In the higher sense of the idea, they are acting as a “mirror” that’s allowing me to “see” what’s inside of me that I have come to interpret as not being good enough, but due to the fact that this has become a core belief for me, meaning it was formed as a part of my formative conditioning, I simply replay the pattern in my mind as a memory and continue to inflict myself with the pain it causes. I’ll continue to create the same type of reality over and over again until I’m able to wake-up in my own delusion and realize that I’m the one doing it to myself. Once I’m able to become aware of the pattern I’m conditioned with due to the fact that it’s intimately familiar and I can relate it back to numerous other memories of the same kind, I can gain self-realization around my own repressed memories, and they begin dissolving as a consequence. 

Due to the fact that we have a “shared belief” in creating the same type of reality together, we’re constantly acting on ourselves to validate and reinforce our beliefs by attracting to the same type of people and creating the same type of experiences over and over again. Because they’re treating us the same way we were treated in the past, we believe it must be true about us, and we dwell in the pain it causes as a result of our own ignorance, and we give them power over us in being able to shape and determine us. We then struggle with the idea of what it means to actually “forgive them” for the perceived pain they’ve caused us instead of realizing that they’re caught up in their own delusions, and like us, don’t really know what they’re doing. They live out of their painful memories and conditioning just like we do without actually realizing it. We unconsciously form an idea of what it means to forgive them from the same perspective and mind-set of the perceived injury, which, of course, is impossible to do. We somehow think that in order to forgive someone we have to condone their behavior by saying “it’s alright” and it doesn’t matter, instead of realizing that they have actually served to show us our own tendencies that prevent us from seeing the truth in situations, or have allowed us to touch on a part of us that normally remains obscure and shadowy while still active within us. 

As we become aware of our own tendencies in any situation and can honestly begin realizing that the story we’re telling ourselves about another, about what happened, what they did to us, how they hurt us, and so on, is actually an illusion as a story that we made up about it in order to shape how we experience it. While we can have a tendency to believe that “experience” is objective in nature and something that happens outside of our control, nothing could be further from the truth.  All we have to do in order to see this idea clearly is to realize that no one focuses our attention for us, feels our feelings, or thinks our thoughts, or tells us how to behave, “we” are the only one who’s doing it. As you think about an experience with someone that greatly upset you, just take a moment and distance yourself from the memory itself, and remove all of your attention from the other person, and focus instead on what it brought alive inside of you. Not the emotions that were immediately triggered, the feelings that swelled up in your chest, what memories you immediately associated to it, and what you started telling yourself about it that made it mean whatever it meant to you. What did it “show you” about others, the world in general, and about you in relation with it.

After allowing it to rise up full blown and play out in your mind as you actually experienced it, subdue the emotions playing out, and using only your rational mind, analyze it. Dissect it based solely on your own internal experience and allow realizations to form around it in terms of other experiences you’ve had of a similar nature or outcome. Don’t try to control it in any way, just watch it play out while witnessing it from a detached and unemotional perspective. Once we can begin realizing that we are actually the one creating our own experiences based on whatever dynamics we’ve been programmed with, we begin comprehending what’s going on from an intuitive perspective as a larger, ongoing pattern. Anytime we find ourselves “blaming” other people for our own feelings and actions, it’s a sign that we’re in the process of creating an illusion that exonerates us from our own responsibility in being able to manage our own mind, emotions, and imagination. A red flag is raised drawing our attention to the fact that we’re in the process of fooling ourselves and avoiding responsibility for our own part in things.

When we perceive being hurt by someone, we have to simultaneously realize what our part was in co-creating the situation by participating in the dynamic that was played out. Anytime we feel betrayed by someone we have to self-reflect and bring into conscious awareness all the times we had notions and funny feelings that seemed to contradict what we were being told, and all the times when little red flags went up, and even though we noticed them and thought about them briefly, we chose to explain them away or justify them somehow, pushing them to the background, and continued forward in creating an illusion in place of the truth. The pain from our experiences comes exclusively by how we’re using our own mind to produce an imaginary reality as a story we tell ourselves about what happened, why, and what it means about us as a result. The pain we feel doesn’t come from the act itself, which is ultimately neutral in nature and lacks meaning, it comes from how we represent the idea to ourselves internally based on the meaning we give it. In this sense, all of our pain and suffering are self-administered and self-sustained. No one is ever “doing anything to us”, outside of actual physical violence, it’s always us who’s doing it to ourselves by how we operate our mind to form an internal representation that we use as the means of telling ourselves a story about it.

All activities are meant to show us our own hidden (unconscious) nature, and to provide us with valuable lessons on how to create our life in a more beneficial and constructive manner.  If we remove ourselves from the emotions being activated and all of our past conditioning that we associate with it and use as the means of interpreting the events, and we detach from the need to defend our own shortcomings and weaknesses born out of a victim mentality, and we look at the situation from a completely rational and intuitive perspective, we can begin recognizing our own faults and how it was that we participated in creating the situation. Everything is formed as a co-creation and there’s really no such thing as an innocent participant in the most basic sense. Once we’re able to see what our part was in helping to create it, we “learn the lesson” it served to teach us, and we no longer need to repeat it by continuing to dwell in it. As we become adults we can begin recognizing themes as patterns that we consistently play out from a predominately unconscious state, and by self-reflecting, we can come to realize tendencies that stem from our past conditioning. Once we’re able to see them clearly and we bring them into conscious awareness, they lose their grip on us and we can see them clearly in any situation before they even begin.

All of what we call “painful experiences” are serving as a mirror into the hidden aspects of our own psychological make-up that remain unresolved and provide us with the means necessary for healing. They give us great insight into where we are making errors in our perception and our own natural tendencies affording us the opportunity to “correct” ourselves. As long as we stay focused on the wrong-doing of the other person and blame them for our pain, we remain unconscious to our own creative abilities and fail to utilize our higher capacities of intuition in being able to perceive the greater dynamic being played out. By waking up in the midst of our own unconscious illusions and seeing clearly the part we’re playing in maintaining the dramas that are playing out in our own life, we begin employing our will to resolve them. Our life is fated until we begin using our will to dissolve karmic patterns. If we chose to remain unconscious as to our own creative abilities and instead choose to focus on others and the events taking place around us with the perception that we’re somehow helpless in light of them, then we continue to act out karmic patterns born out of our past conditioning. By realizing that others play out karmic patterns with us through the same unconscious state, and are lost in the illusion of their own pain and suffering, just as we were, we can begin realizing that there’s really nothing to forgive, and we may even feel a strange sense of gratitude in the fact that they helped us to see what we couldn’t see on our own.

Once the illusion is dissolved for us, and we realize that the other person(s) is still caught up in the illusion and believes it’s real, and so honestly doesn’t know any better, they no longer stimulate us with their attitude and behavior towards us, or the type of activities they continue to engage in. We move into a different way of seeing the same reality that makes it seem very different and a part from us. We are no longer invested in that reality for our identity, and as a result no longer participate in co-creating it. Once we honestly experience a “shift in consciousness” where we no longer perceive  reality in the same way, we no longer attract it or are attracted to it, and virtually lose our ability to readily comprehend it. It no longer holds us hostage by continuously thinking about it in a way that causes us pain, and within a very short period of time, we begin forgetting about it. As you truly forgive people and situations, they begin fading from your thoughts and you go longer and longer periods of time without thinking about them or replaying the experience over and over in your mind. When we do think about them at some future point, it’s in a “matter of fact” way and doesn’t invoke a prominent emotional reaction. Anytime we encounter the same type of person or tendencies in the future we see it the minute it starts, and withdraw from it. We completely lose interest and are no longer attracted to it.

As long as we continue to think about the past in a compulsive manner, we stay locked into the pattern as the level of consciousness we were in when we first created the memory. When we move to a different level of consciousness through increased self-awareness, we shift our vibratory frequency, and we begin engaging in a whole new perception of reality. Vibratory frequencies have patterns inherent in them that express as different types of reality that bring new and different types of experiences. As we become more aware of our own unconscious tendencies and we gain new realizations about ourselves as a result, we have the means for actively transforming our life by consciously exercising our ability to make clear decisions that we then willfully bring into fruition. As we move to a higher perspective and more holistic way of viewing our life as “the creator” of it rather than seeing ourselves as being “created” by others, we experience a shift in consciousness where we  literally become of a different mind and a whole new version of reality emerges as a result. We begin living a whole new story told from a new perspective and we “become” a new person by way of that story. As we shift between finely interwoven dimensions through an altered “state of mind”, the old reality becomes illusory and vague, and we begin “forgetting about it”, in much the same way we forget our nightly dreams upon awakening. They are no longer a part of us as an active memory, and we no longer create out of them or identify with them. Eventually, as time passes, they begin feeling foreign to us and we no longer relate to them and can’t recall them with any real vividness or accuracy. Our past slumber vibrates at a frequency we can no longer comprehend within our new state of being, and we take a step closer to liberating our soul from the prison of our own mind.

The Psychology of Relationships – We Hurt others in the same way we were Hurt

Relationships act as a Mirror for Reflecting back to us Unconscious Aspects of Ourselves

lovers What many people don’t realize is that we’re never conditioned to only one role or position is a dynamic as a behavioral pattern, but rather to the “whole pattern”. Whatever patterns as family dynamics that we’re being played out around us and that we were an integral part of, we not only experience from one position or role in that dynamic, which was created through the interaction itself, but we develop defensive behaviors that serve to provoke the other roles being played out that were necessary to give us the experience we had in relationship with it. All behavioral dynamics are dramas acted out that create a consistent type of experiences. The only way we can do this is by attracting the same “type” of people, enter into relationship with them, where the same idea begins playing out, causing us to feel the same way that we always feel. The relationship we form with others is a relationship we form with ourselves in the other person. Our consciousness as vibratory energy blends into theirs, where whatever qualities we share in common are naturally stimulated just through the nature of the interaction, made active in both people, brought forth as behaviors, and used to create our experiences of the relationship. Energy is qualities of consciousness that form our character and identity which produces the natural behavior and way of being that naturally act out greater patterns as self-expression that tells a certain type of story as a consistent version of reality. A certain type of person consistently tells a certain type of story. It’s fairly easy to recognize that you’ve got a personalized “theme” playing out in your life that’s the basis for how you experience things by the story you tell yourself about them that makes them mean something, the meaning we give things creates your experiences in a congruent and consistent manner. This theme, is at once the expression of the energetic structure of your paradigm and your perceptual lens which interprets everything to give it meaning by the story you tell yourself about it, while simultaneously creating and reinforcing your mental paradigm. We’re never experiencing other people or neutral events “as” they actually are, apart from us, but by how we remake them in our mind to naturally become a coherent part of our story about things. Throughout our life, we were in conditions, circumstances, and situations where a consistent type of drama and behaviors were being acted out, and we were trained to participate in them, and they served to shape us to the natural mind-set and behaviors of that pattern. These events caused us to feel a certain way, and the story we made up about them as a way of putting them into context and making sense of them, created the perspective that became habitual, and we began interpreting all of the events of our life to mean the same thing and thereby tell the same type of story, and serve to give us more of the same type of feeling. We become conditioned to feeling a certain way, and that feeling as an overall mood forms all our personal experiences as the expression of it, which naturally produces more of it, strengthening and validating it. The inner feeling forms the outer perception as the reality of that feeling, stimulating it in others by how we feel and act, and using it as the basis for the interaction as a drama of some kind that acts to strengthen, multiply, and amplify the feeling in both people, and becomes the result or outcome of all experiences created out of that relationship. Electric brain Because we are conditioned to patterns, and our natural perception and behaviors are a product of that pattern, our natural perceptions and unconscious behaviors act to naturally stimulate, initiate, and produce that pattern. Often, this doesn’t come through actual behavior, but rather in our ability to interpret a large variety of behaviors displayed by others to “mean” what we believe it means, rather than as they actually intended it. What we “expect” to find or see in another (based on our past and the theme we developed) becomes our “filter” through which we look and our theme for interpreting everything to mean what we need it to mean in order to keep telling our story about things. Our perception is an “interpretation” that bares our signature as our “style” for creating. The idea of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, is not a nice idea or polite behavior, but a psychological fact or law. As we do unto others, we stimulate them to treat us the same way in return. Not necessarily in the direct and fully aware sense, but in the indirect and unconscious sense. We produce the behavior of that pattern, often without realizing it because we’re telling ourselves a story about why we’re doing what we’re doing that makes it seem different. But the behavior itself stimulates the same behavioral pattern in the other person, who returns the favor by acting the same way towards us. For example: Someone who feels rejected and not wanted (their theme), produces the attitude (how they “feel”) and behavior (how they come across) that causes them to be rejected and not wanted. They go into any situation expecting to be rejected, and anticipating it, looking for it, and are able to readily interpret any number of behaviors being displayed by the other person as “meaning” that they’re (once again) being rejected, and so they behave “as if” they’re being rejected and go into the behaviors they normally do when feeling that way, and act distant, aloof, somewhat cold, agitated, sad and hurt, and quit participating having to be coaxed into joining in, are overly shy, rude and harsh (angry), and act hurt for no obvious reason (to the other person), and so on. They act in a way that causes the other person to feel unwanted or rejected by them, and they respond in kind, by outright rejecting them. In this way, they produce the experience of being rejected by rejecting another, usually without ever realizing that that’s what they’re doing. When the other person responds in kind by rejecting them, they think, ah ha! I knew it, see, once again I’m not wanted, and they feel the same way they always do and can continue to tell the same story about things. heart In a similar fashion someone whose been betrayed, expects betrayal, and behaves in such a way that causes the other person to feel betrayed, and they respond in a like manner, betraying us back. All action causes an equal or greater reaction. Cause always produces a corresponding effect. We can only produce the effect that we act as the cause for. Likewise, other people act as the cause that produces an effect in us. We’re attracted to people who share the same feeling-pattern as we do, and who act to not only stimulate us and we them, but naturally cooperate and participate in acting out the same story, giving both people more of the same feeling they share in common. Whatever we do ourselves, we imagine the other person is doing also. A person who lies and hides things is always suspicious of the other person as doing the same thing, and often accuses them of it even when they’re not. A person who plays around and cheats, expects the other person to be doing the same things, and often looks for (the same “way” they go about it) and accuses them of it. In fact, whatever a person states as their “issues” or what they don’t like or react to in another, is something they’re prone to doing themselves, they just have a different reason for doing it that makes it seem different. Someone who says honesty is really important to them, and they don’t like it when their partner lies and keeps things from them, will not only attract the very people that will fulfill that, but usually have a considerable number of secrets themselves that they constantly lie about in order to keep hidden, and will sneak around snooping and spying on the other person trying to catch them at what they “know” they’re doing, which of course is doing the same thing they’re imagining the other person is doing. But when they’re doing the same thing, hiding things, they’re doing it for a reason that justifies it in their mind, so they don’t see themselves as doing the very thing they suspect the other person of doing. Whatever theme we’ve built our identity around, we attract naturally the co-star of the same drama. A person with a “victim” mentality needs a victimizer in order to keep telling the story of being the victim, and produces the ideal behavior that provokes the person victimizing them. We always imagine that it’s being done “to us” with no fault of our own, and once again, we’re innocent victims to malicious people. When in reality, they’re acting as a mirror to reflect back to us our own tendencies and projections, showing us the dramas we act to consistently co-create. And of course these dramas are never cut and dry or outright obvious, but formed in very personal ways through “twists” in the plot. We have a particular way of being betrayed, for example, and there’s a sub-theme to the main theme. We have a particular way of being rejected, or a specific reason for being rejected. We then try to solve the issue by only focusing on the other person, and are not willing to recognize our own part, or work on our own tendencies, and are certainly not able to get into another relationship while acting the same way and producing a new effect. A person who’s sarcastic and verbally abusive, for example, usually causing people to become sarcastic and hurtful back, will try to find someone who won’t be bothered by it, or that will put up with it, without becoming the same way back, so they don’t have to change. disagreement Whenever we’re in a relationship, if we reflect on the overall nature of it, we’ll notice a pattern being acted out as a life drama that involves our “issues”, or is about the same thing all our experiences are about. In noticing and gaining realization of the pattern as tendencies, we can begin seeing our part in it, and what we’re doing to actively co-create it. What we see in the other person is a reflection of that same feeling-quality in us. Our interaction stimulates their feelings and behaviors, and vice versa. They play a complementary role in our drama, and us in theirs. When we understand that we are costars of the same story, we can realize that what we imagine they’re doing to us, is something they also perceive us as doing to them. How they’re being with us is a direct reflection of how we’re being with them. Like always begets more of what is like itself. We can’t enter into relationship with someone who doesn’t share the same qualities and behavioral dynamics because we fail to relate and there’s no connection between us. When we feel chemistry with someone, their energy is moving into ours and stimulating it by activating or vibrating it. This is because we’re resonating with them, we are of the same vibratory frequency, and share the same mind-set. When we come together there’s immediate connection, pronounced feelings and we instantly relate to them. There’s a natural understanding that takes place. The nature of our immediate interaction sets the shared pattern into motion, and basic ways of interacting become established fairly early on, and sets the foundation for how the relationship develops in terms of the feelings and behaviors it endeavors. No one is going to come into our life and fix or heal us. We have to do that “before” we can attract or be attracted to the person that will act out a different story with us. Until we heal and correct our own issues and tendencies, we are only capable of attracting, relating to, and forming a relationship with those who play a complementary role in the same dynamic. All Perception is Self-Perception – Projection, Energetic Entanglement, and Morphing

What we Think of Others is a Reflection of Ourselves in them

 

The true nature of what we refer to as “perception”, like consciousness itself, is still largely a mystery in scientific terms. We ask “what is perception”, and how do we form our perceptions? Perception is a product of the mind formed through our paradigm or the mental structure of our mind which is the lens we “look through” to “see”. Our mind literally reformulates everything to match our mental model, making it perceivable as a consistent version of an outer reality that’s translated through our inner reality to be of the same nature, meaning, and significance. We fit everything into a consistent theme as a way of making sense of the world. As a way of understanding it by how we describe it, explain it, justify it, and build it into our story about things in a way that makes sense to us.

The statement that we are one with everything around us, is a literal statement, but not in the way most think. While we share and are constantly exchanging the same particles, molecules, and substances with everyone and everything around us, we’re also exchanging consciousness, and energetically merging with it, becoming one with it, and reforming it through our mental perception of it. We never really see things as they actually are apart from us, but as we remake them through our experience of them. Each person that’s apart of the same event, situation, or observing the same object will experience it differently, and in a way that’s unique to them. This is because we only “see” and recognize in everything else what matches our paradigm, and is brought out in it through the resonating activity of our attention being directed at it, that only vibrates similar aspects of it, reordering it into a new form with the same qualities (consciousness) of our mind. Attention, as directed and concentrated consciousness vibrates at a certain frequency, and is always resonating with what is of the same frequency in everything else, and calling forth what matches it into an active state, while causing other qualities to recede, become passive and latent, reshaping the appearance of things. How things appear to us is a product of our own vibratory frequency as our mental paradigm.

The outer world shape shifts to match the inner world that’s perceiving it. All material matter has the energetic potential to appear different to everyone (the individual mind) that perceives it. Matter itself possesses consciousness as psychic qualities that are always interacting and transforming through induction and repulsion of everything else around it. We change the vibration of a substance just by observing it. Our vibration as a mental paradigm or pattern, enters into the same vibration as a quality in everything around us, and effects it by remixing it’s dominant and recessive qualities, changing how it appears by reformulating its inner state. In this way, the observer and the object being observed are apart of the same event, and can’t be meaningfully separated out. Our perception of others and outer events are a direct reflection and expression of our own mind. We “see” in everything else what’s in us, because our mind is the one doing the seeing. The qualities we see in other things are the qualities that we ourselves possess that we project onto them, then perceive them through. If they possess qualities that we don’t, we fail to see or recognize them, or make them out to be something else instead. We transform their character to match ours by how we reform them in our imagination. We describe, explain, and tell stories about them that have nothing to do with them, and everything to do with us.

Likewise, every reaction we have to another, is an interaction with ourselves (same characteristics) in them. They possess the same qualities that we do as a dynamic pattern, and the “reaction” is the experience of resonance, or what we call stimulus. We only resonate (react) to the same vibration in another, which not only transforms us to that vibration by making those qualities active and dominant, but transforms them equally to the same qualities and behaviors, which form the basis for the interaction as the outward display of the shared pattern as a behavioral dynamic. Whenever we come into relationship with someone or something else, an immediate pattern emerges as a type of dynamic that becomes the nature of the interaction in an ongoing fashion. Once we realize this, we gain a valuable tool for self-recognition and realization. Anytime we’re forming a distinct interpretation of another person, we can ask ourselves simultaneously, what does this show me about myself?

Our mind, in the most basic sense consists of the conscious (self-aware) and subconscious (unaware) mind. As we go through life, based on experiences in which we were heavily judged in some way as being bad, wrong, not good enough, stupid, guilty, belittled, shamed, and so on, which causes us to deny the things about ourselves being used against us, while also repressing the memories associated with them. While these tendencies are being denied on the surface we still possess them internally, where they become internalized and formed into complexes that we continue to express by projecting them onto others (looking through them to see the same thing in others), and judging them just as harshly, if not more so, than we were judged. The dynamics of repressed issues continue playing out at the subconscious level where we’re not directly aware of what we’re doing, and we continue to produce the behavior and attract those who share the same issues and tendencies, and will cooperate in acting them out in a subliminal manner. Because they’re hidden from our own awareness through a denial of having or being them, they remain hidden from our own awareness of ourselves, yet we readily see the same traits and tendencies in others and continue living out the drama that ensues from them, we can become aware of them in ourselves through simple self-reflection.

Once we become aware of the fact that we’re always projecting onto others and seeing in them the same character and tendencies that we have or were conditioned to as children that we’re in denial of, we can use it as the tool for self-development that it offers, and anytime we’re having a strong reaction to someone, or judging them harshly in some way, we can ask ourselves, “if I could see this same behavior, attitude, or tendency in myself . . . what would I see”? Why am I having a reaction, what emotion got triggered, and what idea or memory comes immediately to mind as I react to it? Why does it bother me so much? What is it “about them” that bothers me? If we refrain from actually reacting outwardly, and simply sit with the feeling we have inside and simply observe it, while allowing our reaction to continue internally playing out, we can begin seeing in ourselves what it is that we’re being shown through the other person or event that’s taking place. What are they acting as a mirror for?

Just as “what another person thinks of us, has nothing to do with us”, likewise, what we “think of another person has nothing to do with them, but is all about us”. Our reaction, shows us what our own issues are that’s causing the reaction. How we judge others (through the nature of the reaction) is in the same manner that we were judged. How we act, or treat them, is the same way we were treated while being judged in the same way. We employ the same emotional state, behaviors, tone of voice and attitude, and often even use the same words. As you witness your own reaction from a detached state, as if watching yourself from the perspective of someone else, who or what does it remind you of? If you we’re on the receiving end of your own outward behaviors and attitude, how would you perceive yourself? What kind of person would you see yourself as, and why? Learn to penetrate it through a raw form of honesty, and as you begin gaining awareness of what has been operating in you without your direct awareness, gain realizations around it. See it in yourself as clearly as you can, and “own it”. Don’t continue to justify it or try to explain to yourself “why” you’re like that (usually blaming it on someone else), and just be present with it.

Self-awareness is the beginning steps to healing at the spiritual and psychological level. To begin realizing how your own subconscious mind is operating, allows you to understand what’s happening and what you’re doing, and you can begin working with it in a conscious manner. Become clear on the fact that whenever you’re reacting to someone or something, it has nothing to do with them, but is being “created internally” by you. We can only change what we’re aware of and fully own. Just the awareness itself starts the healing process and begins dissolving your attachment to that memory or idea whenever it’s being played out in your present situation. Self-realization is the key to personal growth and emotional healing.

Karma and the Law of Cause and Effect – Changing Reactive Behaviors

Becoming Self-Aware

Karma can probably be most clearly understood as the law of cause and effect, or action that produces an equal or greater reaction. Karma is the fundamental activity of our life, which is either repeating a pattern as a natural tendency or unconscious behaviors, which produces a like effect as a reaction or immediate consequences to our actions, or it comes as a willful and deliberate act that we’re fully aware of and do intentionally. Most karma originates from conditioning of some form, where we’re trained to behavioral dynamics of some sort as the emotional dramas being played out around us that we’re a part of, and ultimately learn to participate in and cooperate in repeating as a kind of life theme that produces a consistent experience of reality. Once conditioned with a thematic life pattern as a type of experience or story that we naturally act to tell by the perceptions and relationships we form with everyone and everything else, we go through most of our life (or lives) forming and playing a familiar role in the same dynamics, over and over, through all areas of our life, usually without any real awareness that we’re the ones creating it.

 

The patterns we form as a thematic story is a natural product of our mental paradigm, and the emotional states we live out of as a general rule. All patterns are the result or expression of “states of consciousness” or mind-sets that form our everyday thoughts, and determine what we’re capable of seeing (perceiving outwardly) in any situation, and what we’re not. Those who share our thematic patterns and behavioral dynamics (of the same frequency) standout, we notice them, gravitate towards them, and they effect us or cause an internal–emotional reaction in us. Those who are of a different frequency or behavioral dynamics, don’t stand out, we don’t really notice or pay attention to them, and we can exist in near proximity of them for extended periods of time without ever interacting with them. Anyone that we share karma (life patterns) with, we tend to easily form a relationship with, and they participate in acting out the same type of story with us. While we can play any role in a dynamic, we tend to favor one while remaining largely unconscious of the others, and are most compatible with those who will play the complementary role, allowing us to remain largely unconscious of what we’re cooperating in creating.

Anytime we get caught up in a strong emotional charge of some kind, and have a strong reaction to something, we’re in the process of acting out karma as automatic and repetitive behavior that we do without thinking about or having any realization around before we do it. It’s thoughtless behavior produced by an emotional charge, which literally renders us unconscious. When we live out of a volatile sea of emotional states that keep us in a constant reactive state, or always thinking about and dwelling in what “someone else is doing”, while losing all awareness of what we’re doing instead, we can live the better part of our life out of an unconscious state, and simply repeat past patterns over and over. This is the fundamental nature of karma.

 

To get off the “karmic wheel” of fate and fortune as haphazard, knee-jerk reactions and mindless emotional drama, we have to begin gaining control over our own mind and senses, and refrain from emotional reactions of all kinds, while self-reflecting instead. As we refrain from outwardly reacting, which keeps us only conscious of the other person, and we become aware instead of what’s happening inside of us “as” the reaction itself that produces automatic behavior by accessing a memory associated with the emotion that’s activating it, and the type of behavior being displayed outside of us. It’s the emotion that enters our body, stimulating us with that same emotion, and the memory as a similar event that we have directly associated to it, that basically says “this (the present) is the same as that (the past)”, and we react in a like manner.  By doing this, we create in the present the same realities and experiences as the past. We act the same way, and create the same behavior, which not only produces the same type of experience again, but draws to us the same consequences or reactions to our behaviors. Once we “do something”, we can’t undo it, and it sets into motion a whole series of consequences, some of which are immediate and intense, others which extend over longer periods of time and are more subtle and gradient. Some consequences we recognize and own, others come later and can mystify us.

To break the patterns that bind us, we have to become fully present in the moment, become aware of any emotional charges while refraining from reacting to them, then shift our attention inwardly to observe what’s happening inside of us. Notice what the emotion is, where and how we feel it in our body, what memory immediately comes to mind in response to it, and the story we start telling ourselves about what’s happening. Because like always stimulates what’s like it, we can become aware of aspects of ourselves that we normally aren’t fully aware of or are in denial around for some reason. When we remove our attention from the outside stimulus, which is merely serving to awaken the same reality within us, and we pay attention instead to what’s happening inside of us, and we simply self-reflect on what process begins simultaneously unfolding as a whole idea, and we realize the nature of our reaction, and we “observe” our own inner experience. Just the awareness alone brings what we are unconscious of into conscious awareness. The awareness alone is enough to break the reactive pattern as a tendency, because we can catch ourselves as we’re doing it. Once we become aware of our own tendencies, and no longer react to them when being displayed by others, we can consciously choose our own behavior in response to them. We can decide what to do from a calm and relaxed inner state. By doing this, we transform old karma by producing new karma in its place as new patterns activated by the same outer stimulus.

 

When we’re in full control of what we do, and we’re not being controlled by outside forces, we become conscious creators in our own lives, and we respond from a thoughtful place that acts to cause an entirely different reaction. We can neutralize a strong emotion being projected towards us by another by deflecting it instead of absorbing it, while simultaneously initiating a new one to take it’s place by counteracting it, and changing the persons state to match ours. In this way, we can become self-determined and act as a positive influence for those who aren’t. We can transmute our karma as old reactive patterns into new patterns of awareness and intentional action that’s aware of the consequences our reactions produce and as a form of consciously creating.
