The Chakra System Provides us with a Model for Using our Mind to Heal our Body

The Chakra system of the subtle body gives us a “model for creating” from a dual perspective as the movement of energy that’s both descending as spirit into matter, and matter ascending back into spirit. The creative process works from both angles because it’s the continuous flow of the same thing. When energy as vibration is descending from a higher plane, it comes in a unified form that divides and propagates as aspects of itself that form stages of development as a kind of growth process of an idea becoming a material form and reality. There are no “individual or independent” operations slated to each chakra as many believe, but rather a unified idea that steadily takes on physical properties and becomes something specific as an actual material reality. It’s the system through which an idea manifests as an equivalent physical correspondence or analogy.

What originates as an archetype or “ideal” is a form of prototype or general template as more of a theme, which holds the infinite potential of that idea as a wave-form (crown chakra has a thousand petals), enters into the individual mind and body system, where a form of natural selection takes place that accesses certain aspects of potential that correlate with it, and through a series of interference patterns as a process of adaptation based on the unique relationship that thematic idea forms with the individual character that’s acting as a vehicle for it to come into an actual form of expression, it’s modified, and the wave is “collapsed” around one possibility (limitation is imposed), which is brought into expression to produce the reality as its physical form.

The crown chakra is where the idea, which has already penetrated and been absorbed and inducted into the mind as the subtle energy field that surrounds and in-forms the body, as a “whole idea” that contains all aspects required for creating in a unified manner, enters the body.  It’s received into the 3rd-Eye of the sixth chakra as an inspired vision or imagined reality (similar to a memory) that has both optical and audio properties (6th chakra is represented as two petals). It comes as an imagined thought that’s accompanied by an inner voice. As the voice speaks a vision is formed as the meaning of the words spoken as a material reality. This inner voice (5th chakra) and imagined reality becomes the basis of what we call “thought”, which when beheld and dwelled in, forms feelings as sensations as it descends into the heart center. These feeling sensations of the imagined idea act as a form of vibratory programming for the subconscious mind of the body, and is what “connects us” to that same type of reality in everything around us in the material world of formation.

       The potential reality as an imagined, sensory and life-like reality produces emotion as the chemistry of the body as it descends into the solar plexus, which adjusts the biological body to the same “state” (vibratory quality) as the idea. The emotions are produced as a reaction to our visual thoughts, and unlike the feelings of the heart that are felt both inside and out as a connection to the material world outside of us, emotions are felt with intensity within the body as a strong stimulation that’s arousing and brings the body into an active state in response to the thought. This strong arousal and pronounced activity within the body takes place as the emotion enters the sexual-generative center of the second chakra, which is creative in nature, and what produces action as behaviors of some form as it enters the root chakra, and acts to bring the idea into expression as an experience by producing an effect as the reality of the thought. Once an idea is acted on, it steadily manifests as not only our inner reality, but also our outer reality. This is how ideas become rooted in reality as the personal creation of those who serve as the vehicle and conduit for actualizing them.

Because this process begins in the brain, the point in the body where ideas are received in full sensory terms, then broken down and distributed to the body itself for manifesting, the brain is attributed as being what “generates” the ideas as a primal form of consciousness. Yet all material form only acts as a passive receptor and instrument for consciousness, which operates it by informing, instructing, and animating it. Consciousness, like everything else that emerges from it, is dual in nature as both a passive and active component. Matter is the passive aspect of consciousness that acts as a form of “shell” or dead form for spirit to inhabit and give life to as a “living being” with a personality and subconscious mind. So the body is the means through which creation takes place as the active expression of consciousness (the Soul).

This same process as an infinite flow of energy that forms a kind of “feedback loop”, which allows the soul to witness its own creation, takes place through a form of reverse engineering. In the ascending flow of energy from the lower to the higher mind, a behavior or action of some kind arouses and stimulates us with a strong emotion, which then produces a feeling sensation as a form of reflection that activates a memory as a visual and verbal idea that provides an “automatic pattern” for creating as a reality. In this orientation and movement, the emotion and feeling produce the imagined thought, instead of the imagined thought producing the emotion and behavior. One originates as a conscious and willful movement, the other originates as an unconscious and automatic movement. Both are equally creative in nature and serve as correspondences to each other because our thoughts are what create the programs as memory of the subconscious mind. These programs habituate us to emotions that keep us in an aroused state, forming the basis for what affects us and causes an automatic, knee-jerk reaction as an emotional charge that makes us go unconscious and act in an automatic, thoughtless fashion.

       All of our reactions, ultimately, come as the result of how we’ve consistently programmed ourselves over a period of time with our own thoughts that formed our memories as a product of our conditioning. Our memories are formed by how we interpreted events through emotional perceptions as the reality we formed around them based on what we told ourselves about them that gave them the meaning they have. All things only mean what we make them mean by the story we tell ourselves about them. This process of feelings that are received from the environment that act to prompt an emotion as an active arousal, which in turn produces an automatic behavior, is how the instinctual realm of the plant and animal kingdom operate. When we bypass the intellectual capacity as the ability to reason, discriminate, and form our own interpretations as a function of the conscious mind, and live instead out of emotions that form illusions as memories that produce automatic behaviors in us, we live in much the same manner as an animal out of a primarily unconscious state.

The intelligent capacities of the Higher, creative Mind, represented by the three upper chakras (voice, vision, idea, and will), has the ability to work through, direct, and ultimately program the lower, subconscious mind of the body, represented by the four lower chakras, all of which are physical in nature, and more specifically the lower three, with the fourth  heart chakra being what bridges and acts as a pathway between the higher and lower planes, and the inner and outer of the material plane. Information is received from the higher plane of archetypal ideas as original thought from the crown and head, forming a vertical motion of up and down, whereas information from the “same plane” (material plane), is received through the heart, and forms a horizontal , as a back and forth, inner and outer movement. When we only live out of our feelings and emotions, stimulated from outer events, others, or in response to thinking as memories of some form, we bypass the intellectual capacity and live out of an unconscious, auto-pilot state of being controlled and determined in much the same way a puppet is operated by a series of strings, or in a remote control fashion, with others constantly being in control of the remote.

        The model laid out as a creative process by the chakra system as a hierarchical structure, provides us with the key and method for employing to work in a conscious and deliberate manner with our own subconscious mind and body to alter and transform our physical body and reality. The subconscious mind doesn’t have the ability to generate and produce reality as an “original creation”, but relies instead on memory which it uses as the basis for creating more realities of the same nature and kind. A memory acts as a preformed pattern or theme that’s used as a template to produce fractal patterns of the same nature as a replication or consistent type of story that produces the same type of experiences over and over, varied only by the uniqueness of the circumstances, situations, and relationships being used to create them. It simply plays out the same ideas over and over in a habitual manner, and produces and maintains the condition of the body as its equivalent and of the same nature and condition.

Whatever story we tell ourselves about our self and life, we become in form. Our mental paradigm is what produces all of our perceptions, which is an interpretation that we use to create our experiences that then determines how we behave, and simply acts in all situations to generate more of it self. It’s only modified from its habitual tendencies through the introduction of an original idea, that’s delivered in its original state as an imagined reality and inner voice, that “gives it” a pre-made idea as a virtual memory that it can use in place of an actual memory to produce the reality of the idea by “becoming it” in body and actions.

In this same fashion, the subconscious of the body, often referred to as the heart, can be given direction on what and how to manifest based on visualization of the process desired as a reality and by talking to it, explaining the process and how it works, and how it’s going to benefit from it. A sense of pleasure and positive emotion needs to be connected to the idea as what the reality will naturally produce. Thought as an idea (replicates a memory) must be translated into the feeling and emotion that’s the equivalent of the idea because it’s what actually produces the behavior or motivation (arousal) of the subconscious. Emotion is the motivating force as the chemistry of the body that forms all of its biological processes. Emotion comes as the stimulation of the Endocrine glands – the master of which is the Pineal and Pituitary body that act together to regulate all others as a unified operation – that produce hormones as messengers that alter the “state of the body” and activate certain processes by turning some aspects on while turning others off, in much the same way DNA operates. It’s only through coherence of the brain and heart (conscious and subconscious) as an idea and its emotional equivalent that manifestation and transformation naturally takes place.

       A thought that’s not properly translated through a sensory reality that produces the emotion of the idea, doesn’t manifest because it doesn’t work to alter and regulate the chemistry of the body to produce the actions necessary. It’s only an idea imagined as a full sensory reality that’s “felt as being real”, that provides a process or operation for transformation as a form of instructions or direction that invoke an emotional response as altering and producing the physical equivalent as the production and distribution of hormones that transforms how the body regenerates itself. It produces the chemical messengers as the information and instructions necessary to alter DNA sequences and neuro-pathways that change how the body regenerates and performs.

While we tend think that what we call “reality” is something that exists separate and independent of us, the fact is reality results from our perception of it. How reality “appears to us”, what we see and comprehend and what we don’t see or fail to recognize all together, is based on our ability to perceive and conceive of it. While we also tend to believe that perception is a product of our brain or heart, in fact, we perceive with our whole being, with both our mind and full body as a unified state and cohesive system. Just as we think with our whole body, in which every organ of our body produces neurotransmitters, and performs different aspects of thinking and perceiving, we also perceive the outer world through the lens of the inner world. Whatever ideas we “program” ourselves (subconscious and self-conscious) with, shape our paradigm, which produces an equivalent and corresponding outer reality as its expression and personal creation. Every individual perceives the same objective reality in a unique, different, and individual way. It’s only by changing our mind and body through the introduction and development of new and original ideas that we reprogram our subconscious to be able to perceive those ideas as a natural part of our outer reality. By changing ourselves, our whole world changes accordingly.

How we Stay Stuck in Patterns, and How to Transform them

One of the most valuable things we can learn psychologically is to really tune into the nature of patterns. All of life operates by way of a dynamic interconnected system of patterns. Patterns are not only formed out of memory as habits or routines, but also out of how we think and reason as creative processes that form our fundamental perception of things, and as the filtering system produced by our mental paradigm which is a dynamic model comprised of correlated, congruent patterns that are constantly being developed and evolved based on our experiences and what we integrate to produce our memories. As we go through life, we’re steadily forming our mental paradigm through our conditioning and what type of dynamics we’re a part of and play a role in, that shape the way we think and perceive, while simultaneously developing and “bringing out” our own style of perceiving through the type of story we begin telling ourselves as a way of making sense of things and making them mean something.

The most basic pattern we form that births and gives rise to all other patterns, is the “life theme” we develop as “our story” about things. This story emerges naturally through our conditioning out of a series of beliefs we form due to our experiences, what we start telling ourselves about them as an interpretation and thought process, and based on what we’re taught and accept as being true and real. All stories emerge naturally out of meaning, which, as children, comes from feelings. As our mind begins developing, and we begin actively creating how we experience things based on how we begin using our mind to reason, we begin constantly asking ourselves in any situation that has significant emotional impact . . . what does this mean?

Meaning, which forms the basis for reality, like the mind and soul producing it, is three-fold in nature, and creates on three levels simultaneously. The meaning we give something that forms the basis of our story as our way experiencing, means something about others, the way the world is in general, and about us in relation to it. All of our “experiences”, which are self-created, don’t come from the actual events of our life, but from how we interpret those events. Interpretation forms perception, and perception “is” reality. Our reality as our experience of the outer world is formed 100% from our perception, which is a by-product or natural expression of our paradigm as our “model of the world”. A model is comprised of an infinite series of memory that are all of a complementary nature and work together faithfully to produce a congruent and consistent version of reality. The structure of our mind as a paradigm is what we can call the core or fundamental pattern that orchestrates and acts as a choreographer for systematically producing all of our perceptions and experiences. It’s what we could think of as our “parental pattern” that produces a series of smaller fractal patterns of the same nature and theme as its offspring. We never have independent or singular patterns, beliefs, or areas of our life, but rather a holistic and unified “system” of patterns, memories, and beliefs. If we try to work with a specific pattern or area of our life that we don’t like and want to change, without ever identifying the “core belief”, conditioned tendency, or habit of perceiving and thinking that’s naturally producing it, we fail to be able to change it, and even when we seem to have changed it in terms of outward appearance, it collapses back into the same pattern and tendency we thought we had changed. This is because it can’t be sustained as independent from the system that’s producing it as a natural and automatic way of thinking and perceiving.

We can however use specific areas of our life and relationships as the means for identifying and becoming aware of our core beliefs and fears, where our feelings counteract our intellect and rational thinking, or where we’re aware that we’re not producing what we want to through various forms of sabotage and deep seated tendencies that are purely emotional in nature and act to magnetically pull us back into habitual patterns. Once we realize that we’re playing out the same fundamental pattern in a variety of ways in every area of our life, we can pick one to work on consciously as a way of influencing and affecting the primary, parental pattern. In doing this, and implementing the proper type of change, one that acts to modify and upgrade the entire system, we not only bring change into that one area of our life, but in the same manner in all areas of our life. It’s only by modifying our mental paradigm as our primary pattern and model, that we ‘break patterns” in selected areas, while replacing them with new patterns that are more beneficial and produce the outcome and type of experience we desire. We’re never “stopping one pattern” or quitting something, but rather changing an old pattern into a new one, or replacing something with something else. This means that it’s not enough to decide what you don’t like or want to change, but also what you “do want instead”, and what new behaviors or idea you’re going to employ in their place. When we decide to change our self and life in some way, we’re moving out of a form of unconscious and natural way of producing habitual experiences and into a role of actively creating with full awareness of what we’re doing and why. This means it requires a strong desire, steady focus, and constant effort (at first). All intentional change only comes through active use of our will and our ability to choose new options and ways of being.

In the most general sense of the word, being always produces doing. All action results from our inward sense of our self. To produce an outward change, we have to work by changing the inward state of being that’s acting through a fundamental form of self-expression to systematically produce it in a habitual fashion. We don’t change the world or other people by trying to work “on them” directly, but by changing ourselves inwardly, which automatically produces how we exist in relationship to the outer world, how we perceive others (in our own image), and how we act naturally to influence them in new ways that change how they respond to us. It’s only by changing ourselves that others and the world in general appears different to us. As long as we remain the same internally, everything remains the same externally. The entire world operates according to the Law of Cause and Effect. All action produces and equal reaction of the same nature and type. To change how someone else is acting, we have to change how we’re acting to stimulate them, and how we sense and perceive ourselves in relationship with them. As long as we’re employing the same attitude, way of looking at something and behaviors, we consistently produce the same thing over and over.

Learning how to Change Your Story

The first thing we have to do when deciding we have to change somehow, is learn how to actively “give up” our story about stuff and form instead a desire to tell a new kind of story that changes how we experience the events of our life and causes us to feel different and “become” a different type of person as a result. Most don’t want to give up their story about things, but instead want to be validated in it, and have everyone and everything else change through a form of agreeing and acting to counteract or go against instead what they’re actually the one creating. Someone who never feels “wanted”, for example, wants to keep telling that story and feeling that way, while having someone demonstrate or prove to them that they “want them”, yet their perceptual filters will always act to interpret any behavior to mean they’re not wanted. Usually of course without realizing that that’s what they’re doing, because we often don’t fully realize that we create our story perfectly through our feelings and perceptions, and only see and “experience” what matches them, and what can be skewed or recomposed in a way that lends itself to telling our story. The “feeling” that at once produces our story, creating an experience that gives us more of that same feeling, being the key component.

Our story is difficult to change because we’ve built our identity out of it as how we perceive and sense ourselves, and as a result don’t know how to tell a different type of story. When we try, we can often feel awkward, unfamiliar and uncertain, in new territory without a means to navigate, and don’t know how to “be” or what to do. All behavior is learned, and with learning comes the unknown. We have to practice something before we get good at it and it starts becoming natural. Change at first feels like we’re not being ourselves, or we’re someone phony or inauthentic (to use a buzz word), and this feeling and thought is what often sabotages our attempts at change and causes us to revert back to old and familiar ways of being that are more comfortable.

We don’t have to work through all of our “issues” and complexes through years of therapy and self-reflection on the events of our life, what happened to us, and why we’re the way we are, which usually only validates and strengthens them, but by learning instead how to use our creative power of choice and free will. We can produce any change we want by making the “clear and actual decision” to change, then disciplining ourselves to consistently produce and act out that decision until it becomes natural and automatic. Ways of feeling, thinking, perceiving, and acting are merely habits we’ve established as the means of producing the experience of ourselves and our life. Like all habits, they can be changed by simply replacing them with new habits. You have to want the change bad enough to do what it takes to produce and then maintain it, by deciding in a fully aware manner who and how you’re going to be and what type of story you’re going to tell by how you live your life.

Changing our story doesn’t mean we form an illusion over what we imagine to be fact, or deny the events of our life that formed our memories, but rather by learning the art of transforming them by interpreting them and telling our story about them from a new and different perspective that changes the experience of them. For example, when I was a kid, one of the stories I kept telling myself was that nobody really knew me for who I am, but rather by judging me to be like my family. I had a fairly traumatic childhood, and was a compulsive runaway, living much of my life on the streets, and was used to those who tried to help me looking at me and saying things like “you poor thing”, which was just about the most god-awful feeling I ever had because it made me out to be weak and pitiful, when my life circumstances actually served to make me very strong and capable. When I became an adult, and moved to a different city where nobody knew my past or family, a voice inside me one day casually said, “ok, now you’re in a situation where nobody knows to judge you based on your family and past . . . so who are you going to be?” And at that moment, the entire course of my life changed, and I was truly in a position of creating myself, which I found exciting.

I started off by vowing to never talk about my past or how I grew up with any new people, living fully in the present and giving them only an impression of what I was like at that time. I did this for years, and it became a natural way of living for me, and I quit thinking about my past altogether in the normal daily sense. I learned how to stay present and to realize in every moment I was deciding who I was going to be by how I acted and what I talked about. Later, when I was in another new environment, I decided to talk about my past as my childhood experiences while only picking the ones I could tell from a humorous and adventurous perspective. I made what was actually drastic and traumatic at the time, seem funny and exciting. I decided to tell stories of running away and hoping freight trains to unknown destinations from a perspective of “Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn”, as an exciting adventure met with constant surprises and quirky opportunities. I learned how to pick different memories to tell stories around rather than the ones I had previously focused on. I became so good at this, that my staff found them very entertaining, and on slow afternoons would ask me to tell them more stories about growing up.

The point to this is that the “way” I told the stories made me feel entirely different and turned me into a different type of person. Because I imagined them vividly from a different perspective, and played them out repeatedly from that perspective, it literally changed my memories by evolving and transforming them. From that point on, every time I thought about those events, I remembered them from a new perspective, and after a while I not only couldn’t remember how I experienced them originally as a little girl, but got to where I no longer felt like that little girl. She became more like somebody I knew really well and loved very much. She was no longer an essential part of me, and wasn’t the one who created the story I was still living out of as an adult. I began realizing that what tends to become our story as our “life theme” that we continue creating out of as adults, originates from a child’s perspective who is simply trying to make sense of things as best they can with the limited resources they have. As an adult I was much more equipped to tell a far more accurate story of my life based on an adult, mature perspective and mindset.

One of the first things you want to notice when forming a new story about yourself and your life, is that you have many memories of your past, but you consistently pick a small handful, usually the ones with the greatest emotional impact, to use consistently to “tell your story” about what happened to you and what your life was like. You could just as easily let go of those and pick a whole new set that you use to tell stories out of (to yourself and others) that would completely change the way you feel and who you become. You can also take the same major events of your life, realize how you interpreted them at the time you were going through them to create how you experienced them, and decide from a perspective of hindsight and what they served to teach you through the realizations you obtained because of them, and (re)perceive them from a new, more mature perspective, and retell your story about them in a way that makes you feel different, and become different by way of them as a result. As you form a new perspective, you imagine it as a reality that created a different type of experience, the type you want as the means of developing yourself in that way. As you create a new experience of it, and you get it just the way you like it, you play it over and over in your mind from within the experience of it. By playing it repeatedly, in vivid sensory terms of being in the experience of it, you establish it as a new memory and pattern that forms the basis for telling a new type of story. Instead of being scared or freaked out, you can be courageous, brave, confident, or surprised and filled with anticipation as a form of excitement. Instead of hurt and feeling betrayed, you can see it clearly, read all the signs of what was going on, and realize that as it happened it had nothing to do with you, and so you remain unaffected by it.

Because we’re the ones that are always creating our experiences of the events of our life, we form our memories also. Our memories become the established patterns as fully interpreted realities that provide us with instant patterns in the present to create more of the same type of experiences through similar events. As we create our experiences that become our memories, we simultaneously create ourselves by way of those experiences. All of our perception and resulting behaviors are produced in a natural and automatic way from memory. Our memories are shaped by the primary patterns of our life as our “theme” or “life’s story” that we’re always acting out and creating in some manner in every area of our life. To change a pattern as a memory, is to either transform an existing memory into a new experience, or create a new memory that you’ll use in place of the old memory that provides a pattern for the subconscious mind to act out naturally and use to produce more realities and experiences of the same nature.

To create a new (virtual) memory, start by selecting a scenario or behavior in your current life that you’d like to change. Form a very clear idea of what you’d like to change it to. How would you like to experience it or behave instead? As you go over the course of events, reflecting on how it went, what your interaction was, how you felt, and what you did, form a clear idea on how you would have liked it to have gone instead, and how you would respond or interact through hindsight. Reform it in your mind accordingly, until it plays out the way you want it to. If changing a behavior and not the overall pattern as a dynamic, leave everything the same (the emotion, meaning, trigger, etc.), and simply “choose” how you would have liked to have behaved, and play that out instead as a new response to the same stimulus. Once you have it the way you want as a general flow, replay it in your mind until it’s consistent. Once it’s consistent as a pattern that can be replayed in the imagination, begin enhancing it with sensory attributes and qualities. Make it vivid, in full color, and up close (immediate). Then shape it further by asking:

  • What are you seeing (picture in detail)
  • What are you hearing?
  • What are you touching or feeling? (objects or textures)
  • Smelling and tasting?
  • How are you feeling? (internally)
  • What are you telling yourself about it (internal dialogue)?
  • Feel it as an emotional experience – as if it’s actually happening.

Play it over several times as an actual experience that’s just the way you want it, until you can recall it automatically. What references a memory in the present is whatever feeling and emotion is connected to it. In order to use it to replace another memory, associate the same feeling and emotions to it. So that anytime you’re in a situation feeling that way, it triggers that memory and you see it as a pattern for creating the same type of experience and reality in the present one.

If you’re creating a brand new type of experience that you want to create, focus heavily on the feeling it gives you, and realize that brand new experiences may not come in the same way you imagine as a specific situation or set of circumstances, but it’ll produce the same type of feeling. You won’t be able to recognize it by what it looks like, but rather by how you feel when in it, having it. The appearance it takes on will be based on what’s available in your immediate, everyday environment that’s of the same nature and will naturally lend itself to co-creating the same type of experience. The reality it comes by way of will however be of the same theme, dynamic, and over-all pattern.

The other thing you have to keep in mind is that you can’t inflict your will on others. If you’re not of the same will, nature, and destiny, the reality you produce that includes them will never manifest. You can’t require specific people to be a part of your memory/reality, and it can’t be an attempt to change someone else, it can only require you to change by directing your own perception and behavior. If other people are involved, they have to be archetypes only, or a representation of a “type of person” who would act naturally to create that type of experience. So “who” actually participates in co-creating the experience, and the set of circumstances it takes place in, might be quite different than you imagined, yet it’ll be the same “type” of experience.

Mental, Emotional, and Physical Purification – The Prerequisite for Transcending to Higher Forms of Consciousness

The definition for the purification process is to remove toxins, pollutants, and contaminates, returning it to an original state of purity. It’s the process of making something spiritually or ceremonially “clean”. Free from anything that debases, pollutes, adulterates, degrades, or contaminates it. Clean of all “foreign” elements. In the spiritual sense it means freeing the soul from sin and guilt, which means errors in perception and actions, and doing things that you feel or know are wrong or bad somehow. It comes as a form of restoration of grace that redeems our soul and promotes our salvation. It’s removing from our mind and body anything that defiles, desecrates and makes us profane, that violates and corrupts, or that perverts and tarnishes us in some way. It’s cleansing ourselves of all forms of negativity that act to reduce us somehow in terms of our morality. It comes through our ability to resist temptation of physical pleasures and impulses that will cause us to “acquire” qualities that will digress us to a lower, animal-like nature.

The goal of undergoing the process of self-purification is to produce a state fit for a specific purpose that requires us to meet certain standards. The higher soul, which is non-material and eternal in nature, is “unchangeable” because it’s pure in nature and isn’t influenced or affected by material elements. It doesn’t blend or mix with anything of a different nature. The human soul and the body form a relationship as an amalgamation where they blend with each other and take on the same state, qualities, characteristics, and tendencies. By removing all of the negative influences that have served to mask our true nature and corrupt our consciousness with passions and desires that render us “animal-like” (unconscious), we return to our essential self as being “in this world but not of it”. We can free ourselves of all material passions and addictions and the illusions they create that keep us in a constant state of bondage as longing for meaningful experiences, craving physical pleasure, wanting material possessions, and suffering when our cravings aren’t met somehow.

In order to understand the true process of self-purification from a soul level, we have to look objectively at the nature of desire, lust, connection and the power of the magnetic forces of the material plane that we experience as emotion. Whatever we feel a connection to, we have a desire and longing for. We think about it naturally and on a regular bases, gravitate towards it by always seeking it out somehow, wondering about it, and dream about what it will be like when we unite with it, experience it and become “one with it”. All of which tunes us to the same vibration and “magnetizes us” to it. Whatever image or idea we hold in the mind as a mental impression that we develop into a vivid reality as a possible experience of it, we align ourselves with and alter our vibration to match it. This is the most basic law, the Law of Vibration as resonating with something that we unconsciously seek out and “enter into” as the experience of it from “within it”, that acts to modify our mind through the incorporation of it as a memory of some form, causing us to vibrate at the same frequency. We’re always calibrating ourselves vibrationally by what we think about and imagine as a reality, and what we actively participate in.

Whatever we willingly become one with in mind and emotion (chemically), we become the “same as” in terms of frequency, and it becomes a part of our normal thoughts and what we associate with that keeps our body tuned to the emotional chemistry of the thought, which forms a gravitational field between the imaginary idea within us and that same idea outside of us. As we think and imagine, we feel and sense, and we provide our subconscious mind with a pattern as a virtual memory to use to not only produce our physical expression and behaviors to be of the same nature, but to draw and direct our attention to that same idea all around us. It becomes like a beacon of sorts that stands out when we naturally scan the environment by making it take on an enhanced quality that seems more vivid and intimate than other ideas that we don’t think about or entertain much. In this way, through the very nature of our thoughts and what we choose to “let into” our mind and entertain by contemplating and give our attention to on a regular basis, we align ourselves to that idea as a mental and emotional state, and it becomes a part of “us” as an inherent and regular part of our reality.

Once a compelling mental image or strong emotional event is allowed to penetrate and inhabit our mind, it can become a permanent thought as our ability to reference it in association with something else. It becomes a memory that populates our thoughts with more of the same type of thoughts. As we encounter other ideas of a similar nature, it pops into our mind and plays out as a means of creating our experience of the present based on how we associate it with the past. While there are many things we can’t help seeing, witnessing, or becoming a part of because they’re a natural part of our immediate and everyday reality, we can and do make constant conscious decisions as to what we intentionally or willingly engage in and give our concentrated attention to, and “let into our mind”, and allowing it to “take hold” by continuing to think about it. As we engage in the reality of the thought, forming it into an experience, we integrate it into our mind as a virtual memory that’s used just like a real memory to create us to be of the same nature, and it becomes a possibility for an actual experience. We “tune ourselves” to it through the very act of thinking about it as a sensory reality that we’re in the process of experiencing.

Thought and emotion are always intimately connected as one produces and gives rise to the other and are of the “same nature”, because thought produces and idea as an imagined reality experienced in sensory terms as feeling sensations that produce emotion as the physical chemistry of that reality. Emotions, being of a material nature, produced by sensory stimulus that’s produced in response to thought, is the “language of the material world” that’s always being communicated through a natural form of energetic transmission that flows freely through the atmosphere (astral plane) in which our body acts as a receiver for. Just as thought provokes the emotion associated to the thought in the individual mind, emotion also provokes thought that produces the reality of the emotion in the imagination. Emotions exist as more of an “archetypal theme” designed to produce automatic, unconscious behaviors, and are what drive the instinctual plane of the animal kingdom, of which our body is a kin to.

All emotion serves to automatically produce certain types of reality by first altering the chemistry of our body through energetic stimulus that modifies our “state of mind” (energy field) accordingly through resonance, and utilizes our will by controlling our thoughts to produce the “type of reality” that serves to naturally express and produce more of the same emotion. So while the thoughts themselves as an imagined reality may vary from individual to individual, all being stimulated with the same emotion, the type of reality as a “theme” and the behavior it automatically produces will be the same (very similar). Emotions, when left unchecked, render us unconscious because they take control of our physiology and run our mind, controlling and determining how we perceive and behave, and what type of dynamics we naturally engage in.

We are literally being “given our thoughts” as mental impressions by other people that we communicate with, and various forms of media that bombard us with constant ideas as videos, movies, advertisements, propaganda, articles, sayings, pictures, music, and so on, much of which we readily engage in while in a passive state of non-resistance (being entertained by it), or through sensationalism of some form being used as an emotional hook by how it’s presented, that we feel magnetically drawn to, or have simply been trained to give our mind over to anything that’s out there vying for our attention. The whole quest of culture and society is to take control of our will by introducing information as sensationalized ideas that we willingly take in an incorporate into our mental paradigm and therefore act as a natural channel for it by participating in it in a fully cooperative manner. Anything that becomes a part of our everyday reality we accept as normal, build it into our experience in a way that makes sense to us, and fail almost completely to recognize as a program that we’re being given and systematically conditioned to.

Whatever we take in from our environment unsuspectingly and without careful analysis or discretion, or any form of actual awareness as to what it is, what it means, and how will affect us, conditions us as a primary form of hypnosis. We’re literally given our thoughts in a fully interpreted manner as the visual reality and how we’re supposed to feel about that reality. We’re told what that reality will mean in terms of benefiting from it if we accept it as a natural part of us and lend our will to participate in creating by “becoming it” in mind, emotion, and actions. We’re always “becoming” by what we combine ourselves with, associate with, and create ourselves by way of. As we think, imagine, feel, emote, and do, we sense ourselves “as”, and it shapes us by way of becoming the same as it.

To purify the mind and emotions is to become aware of this natural process and begin working by way of it in a conscious and intentional manner. This means to first become aware of your own habits, what you expose yourself to and participate in without full awareness of what you’re doing as more of a habit or addiction, what relationships you maintain and how they influence and affect you, and what environments and situations you place yourself in as a part of your daily routine. It comes through an awareness of how you’re acting “on yourself” to willingly condition yourself to a form of mass brainwashing as social entertainment and information delivered through media that all of society is unknowingly and eagerly participating in. It begins by choosing to wake up and become aware, then exercising your creative power to consciously choose and willingly act out those choices to begin directing and determining your own mind and behaviors.

The minute you choose to take back censorship of your own mind and body, no longer created by others and society, and immediate question arises, and that is “who am I?” Who and how do I want to be? If I’m going to intentionally create myself and govern my own thoughts and emotions, what kind of thoughts and emotions do I want to have? It brings us face-to-face with the reality of who we are and the tremendous responsibility of consciously creating ourselves. Something many go their whole life without ever realizing. To choose to be conscious and fully aware in your everyday life as the initial step into the process of self-creation brings with it a great deal of responsibility and accountability, and can be very disruptive to your current life. Once we begin becoming fully conscious in what was previously unconscious processes that were forming us by the will of others, and we begin looking at habitual behaviors, routines, and activities that we engage in without direct awareness of what was actually happening, we can hit a moment of crisis that can seem overwhelming because we realize we’ve been living our entire life out of a conditioned state that lacked any actual form of “self-awareness”. We often don’t know where to begin because we see so many things that need to be changed that no longer engaging in them impulsively and sporadically would cause mayhem.

This is because the way we change behaviors and activities isn’t necessarily by addressing and working with the behaviors themselves, but rather by recognizing and working directly with the “state of mind” out of which they naturally arise as expressions and natural behaviors. All thought and emotion that form the basis and motivate our behavior arise naturally out of our state of mind as our paradigm, or attitude, beliefs, values, preferences, decisions, memories, and so on, as a form of by product. By changing our values and beliefs, we naturally change all of our behaviors that result from them. We have to change how we look at something and how we interpret it through a new awareness of it in order to change how we naturally exist in relationship with it and how we interact with it as a result. Once we change our perception of something, all behaviors that resulted from it change automatically. When we habitually engage in the activities that resulted from the old perception, we become very aware of it and it no longer captivates us, we can’t stay with it, or, it no longer seems interesting. Its magnetic quality subsides and dissipates, and we forget about it.

Once we choose to be aware in areas and ways we were previously unaware, or had a different awareness around, we can begin consciously choosing what we expose ourselves to and what we don’t. We can decide what activities to participate in and which ones not to. Which relationships we continue to maintain, and which ones we let go of. We can provide ourselves with new information of a desirable nature that will grow us in ways we want to be grown. We can begin participating in new kinds of activities that bring us new kinds of experiences that are more in alignment with who we are and what we stand for. We can disconnect from the mindless activities of society that’s asleep and being given their thoughts and emotions, and we can begin thinking for ourselves and engaging in a form of constant study that causes us to think in new ways, imagine new possibilities, and feel in ways that will foster our growth to a positive means.

Perhaps the most important thing that waking up within your own life and becoming aware brings about is becoming aware of your “self”. Who you are as a soul, and learning how to take responsibility for you own creation through intentional use of your ability to realize, think for yourself, decide, and act out your decisions creating your reality, experiences, and self by way of your ability to think in original ways. By being able to consciously direct ourselves out of our conditioned and habitual mindset, we can take back control of our own destiny and guide ourselves down a deliberate evolutionary path of self-discovery and self-creation.

What is Thought? The Local and Non-local Mind

      Thought comes as the activity of the mind, not just as the verbal thought of what we call the conscious mind which comes primarily as what we call “brain function”, but also through the other aspects of the mind as feelings, images, and direct experience. Naturally, just as all aspects of the mind work together to form a single operation, all levels of thought work together to form what we could call a full sensory experience of reality. The mind, which exists both locally (located in a body) and non-locally (a part of the greater outer reality) on the material plane, forms both the subconscious and the self-conscious mind which work together to form both the inner and outer reality through which they form the “self” as a coherent being. The subconscious mind, which we also think of as the “body consciousness”, while being located in the body is also connected to the outer reality, and exists outside of time because it’s always present and in the moment, whereas the self-conscious mind as the “thinking mind”, exists primarily within time and is hardly ever actually present, and instead lives out of dream-like illusions as rehashing memories of the past, and projecting ideas of the past into the future as a means of trying to anticipate what’s to come.

The self-conscious mind, which is birthed fully within the body as our brain-consciousness, is abstract in nature and produces what we tend to think of as “thought” as the verbal, talking form that speaks in a learned language that’s abstract and subjective in nature. This form of thought creates our internal dialogue as a form of always talking to ourselves by explaining, describing, and repeatedly replaying the same type of scripts over and over. The subconscious mind, which exists both inside the body and as part of the environment, is intuitive in nature, emotionally driven, and experience oriented and “thinks” in terms of sensory information and as images, metaphors, and analogies that comes as whole ideas that form both inner and outer realities. As the conscious mind speaks to itself in words as internal dialogue, the subconscious mind interprets the words by turning them into corresponding sensory realities as an inner imagining. This inner imagining formed from abstract words creates thought as form, producing “thought-forms” as ideas that form the basis for living outer realities that give us certain types of experience.

As we think we construct whole realities in our mind’s eye, and these imaginary realities become the basis for both verbal thought and outward speech. Whatever we say outwardly to others begins as an inner thought of some form. The inner mind and outer mind both work on each other to form experiences of reality. When thoughts come to us from an outside source, they come as feelings that have whole ideas in them that we then “think about” and construct into a living concept as a possible reality as the means of comprehending them. When thoughts seemingly come from an internal source, they come as a memory of some kind that we replay in our mind’s eye, altering them slightly by adapting them to our current situation as a way of repeating the same experience of the past in the present. As we think, we form an emotional reaction to our own thoughts, and the emotion shapes the nature of the reality we create out of our thoughts. Likewise, we can be triggered by an emotion (from outside), which acts to control our thoughts and determines what we think about as the reality or memory associated to the emotion. Verbal thought and emotion are always connected as correspondences to each other, and one causes the other, or acts to produce and determine the other.

As we think, we do, and as we do we become. We become by way of our thoughts. Our style, type, and class of thinking are how we work on ourselves to shape ourselves. We become by way of our own stories about things. What we tell ourselves about things forms an inner reality as an imagining that’s then “looked through” or superimposed over the outer reality and used to reorganize it to fit or match out thoughts about it. What we think and form into a reality in our mind we believe, because it’s our creation and we form an understanding of things by turning them into a reality. When we turn an idea into a reality, it’s believable because it appears real to us. We present it to ourselves in a way that makes it seem real. Anything that we can imagine, we can make real as an outer experience. We believe it because we perceive it as reality, as being real and tangible, and don’t realize that what we call reality, in the most basic sense of the idea, is an illusion as a fabrication of the mind, and that every individual mind forms its own unique version of the same reality as a perception of it.

We exist and have our being by way of our own thoughts and “style of thinking” which emerges spontaneously as the natural composition of our mental paradigm or vibratory frequency. The structure of our mind as a frequency forms a dynamic series of interlaced patterns that are all of the same nature and together form a congruent and consistent experience of life as a form of story-line we’re always in the process of telling ourselves (notice this word is always plural). We tell ourselves a story about things as a way of making them mean something. It’s through the meaning things have for us that we form our experience of them, and our experiences shape us. We tell ourselves a story about things as a way of making sense of them, that give them meaning, and meaning, a product of the mind, operates simultaneously on three different levels – it means something about others, the way the world is, and about ourselves in relationship with it.

As we create our experience of ourselves within our own story, we create the rest of the world through the relationship we form with ourselves in everything else. We make other people out to be of the same nature as we are through our judgment of them and by perceiving them through our mental filters, emotional states, and criteria, and remake them to be of the same nature as we are by fitting them into our model by how we exist in relationship with them by contrasting, comparing, and relating. We can only know “who we are” by how we contrast and relate to others and the world in general. Because we’re always viewing the world through our own mind and mental paradigm, we only see and comprehend in others and events what can be explained, described, and therefore known through our story about them. We never really see others as they actually are, but rather as we remake them in our own image. We interpret them to be like us (of the same story) and fit into our reality as a cohesive aspect of it.

Thought is the means through which we create subjective realities out of neutral and objective realities as the natural expression and activity of the mind. The mind is a reality generating mechanism. It generates the body that it then inhabits and operates through, and produces the illusion of the outer reality as a reflection of the inner nature, as a means of “experiencing itself” in relationship with itself (same vibration) in everything else. The “self” separates and becomes another that exists outside of an apart from it, then experiences itself through the interaction as both a perception of the other as being the “same as it is”, or being different (complementary), then interacts with itself (its own image) in the other, defining and shaping itself through the experience it brings. Likewise, our perception of reality results as the outer stage or scenario of our story, and is based primarily on the illusion we form “as” our personal reality that’s projected outward and superimposed over (a lens we look through) the abstract reality, rearranging it based on the meaning we give it, conforming it to fit our story about it.

Everything in what we perceive as the outer world is a dream-like illusion produced by our mind as our thoughts about it. Thought forms reality. As we think, we believe, and as we believe, so it is. As we think, we become by way of our thoughts. All reality is in fact subjective in nature, because it’s composed, viewed, and experienced by the mind perceiving it, and therefore adapted, altered, and modified to be of the same nature or basic patterning as a frequency. Nature as the outer world is a projection and reflection of the inner nature of the mind. As we think we create ourselves, others, and the world at large. We form a new interpretation out of a universal theme. Because our thoughts produce living realities, we believe in them and see them as true because they appear real to us. Whatever can be made real is true to the mind creating it.

Truth itself doesn’t exist in the outer reality, or the inner reality, but rather in the Laws governing the activities of the mind that produces both as an interaction with itself on different planes, creating a variation each time it expresses “as” something specific. It’s not the product of the thought that’s real, but the process through which thought is generated and made real as an outer reality. All reality in and of itself is an illusion as a dream produced by the mind. The outer reality is created first as the original creation of the greater, universal mind, then as the group mind of humanity (Earth), and then of the individual mind that’s perceiving it from a certain perspective and identity located within a body. The mind itself is true, not the reality that it produces, which is temporary in nature, and varies in each aspect that together make up the greater whole. We are all living in a reality of our own making, that while it is composed of the same fundamental elements for everyone, it appears in a unique form, with different emphasis, embellishments, and story-line for every individual mind which creates a subjective reality as a form of parallel reality that coexists simultaneously within an infinite number of realities without interfering, canceling out, or altering each other.

Those who share the same type of reality, who are telling the same type of story, who vibrate at the same frequency, attract, enter into a relationship of some form, and co-create a shared reality as a joint-experience. Those of a different reality, who are telling a different type of story that’s not a part of or compatible with ours, are deflected, repulsed, not noticed, or ignored all together. They simply exist in the background. We attract to our complementary opposite in everything else, and together form a whole as playing different parts in the same story as a type of reality. We create and share the same type of reality through an interaction that comingles and congruently integrates feelings, thoughts, and emotions to form a unique variation while still holding true to the basic theme of our story. No matter what type of relationships we form, we’re always telling the same type of story with people who can play a part in our story.

Relaxation – The Prerequisite for Meditation and Concentration

Meditation is a process by which we calm our mind, stop or reduce all thinking, and relax the body to the point where we lose direct awareness of it. The object is to subdue the active, conscious (thinking) mind, rendering it passive and non-active, while entering primarily into the state of the subconscious mind, which is normally the passive aspect of the mind in our waking state, and make it prominent and active instead. In order to enter into a true meditative state, we have to go through a full body relaxation process that utilizes and develops the conscious (thinking) minds ability to regulate the body as the subconscious mind.

Meditation is based on a state of mind that reduces brain waves to the alpha or theta state, which is the optimal state for learning and creativity. This is because the subconscious mind is a passive receptacle for knowledge received from the higher mind which is pure thought as seeded ideas. To relax the body is to regulate brain function and utilize different aspects of our being. By relaxing the body, we simultaneously regulate all of our physiological processes, and work to bring ourselves back into a balanced state, which can be maintained through consistent forms of meditation practiced on a regular basis until perfected and you can do it naturally and instantly. The relaxation process should be practiced repeatedly until it becomes so natural to you, that you can produce the whole body effect instantaneously at will.

To relax the body, follow these easy steps:

  • Find a place where you won’t be disturbed or distracted for approximately 15 to 20 minutes (start slow, and build)
  • Sit or lay in a position that when fully relaxed will support you.
  • Wear loose clothes and remove anything that’s binding or tight.
  • Get comfortable by adjusting your body and forming a “closed circuit” by placing your hands on your thighs, or if laying down, across your heart or just below your belly button, and make sure your feet are also touching (keeps the energy circulating in your body.
  • Make sure your spine is straight.
  • Once comfortable, close your eyes (block out distractions), and turn all of your attention inward, forming only an awareness of what your feeling inside.
  • Focus on your breathing, and take a couple of slow deep breaths, focusing on the sensation caused by the expanding and contracting, rising and falling of your chest. Then settle into a normal and rhythmic breathing.
  • Set the intention to relax your body.
  • Starting with your feet, place your attention on the sensations in your feet (both), then say to them “relax”, and feel your feet relaxing, then say to yourself “my feet are relaxed”. Don’t move on to other parts until your feet are relaxed.
  • Then, move up to your ankles or calves, and repeat the same process – intend for them to relax, direct them to relax, and then create the experience of them relaxing, then confirm that they are relaxed. As they relax, withdraw all awareness from them.
  • Then move up to the knees, the thighs, and systematically work through all parts of your body – hips, abdomen, lower back, chest, upper back and shoulders, arms, hands, up the back of your neck, scalp, jaw, face, and eyes.
  • As you go, periodically scan your body for any rising tension, and relax it again, until you can maintain your whole body in a relaxed state without effort of having to think about it for several minutes.
  • Allow yourself to notice how a relaxed body creates a calm, spacious feeling of inner peace, and enjoy being in this state for a brief time.
  • Concentrate on the experience of being relaxed, so you can anchor the feeling in your body. By anchoring the relaxed state, and through regular practice, you’ll be able to instantly relax your whole body at will by simply intending it.
  • Then, either stay in the meditative state for a while longer, enjoying it, or break state, and bring awareness back into your body, become alert, and become aware of your outer environment.

 

By mastering this technique, you can learn to regulate your body’s state willfully just by setting the intention, and keep your body in a relaxed state on a routine basis. You can also use this same technique to regulate your state-of-mind anytime you feel stressed, or are having a stressful reaction to something. Always keep in mind that the body and mind exist in a synchronized relationship, and that one can be used to regulate the other one. The mind synchronizes with the body through rhythmic breathing, heightened awareness around inner sensations, and by turning attention inward, closing off all outer stimulation. The body accepts direction from the conscious mind when it’s delivered through good intentions and stated in an authoritive fashion, and doesn’t threaten its sense of well-being in any way. The relationship between the mind and body, as the conscious and subconscious mind, is one of love, friends, or parental. The interaction is always of a loving nature for a common purpose of health, inner peace, and over-all well-being.

What is the “Mind?”

There’s a tendency to refer to what we call the mind as being equivalent to the brain, or the heart, or some invisible undefined term that encompasses them both. If we look at the mind through the concept of Spiritual Sciences and the Quantum model of Subtle energy, we can realize the mind as an energy field that exists in a hierarchical form as smaller, individual minds that accompany all conscious sentient beings while expanding in range and magnitude to larger mind-fields that can reach universal proportions. It’s a series of mind-fields that are nested within greater fields, which like holograms, while varying in size and magnitude, are all of the same nature and operate according to the same sets of creative Laws.

 

The mind of the individual is the energy field that surrounds and envelopes the body in an egg-like essence that we commonly call the aura or electromagnetic field that’s imbued with distinct attributes and qualities that determine how the mind functions at an individual level. It’s the essence as what we refer to as electrified plasma as resonance that informs and animates the body, imbuing it with analogous characteristics referred to as the personality, which becomes the foundation for the identity it takes on through various levels of story-telling birthed as a natural evolutionary growth process. It develops and “becomes” in stages that are the enactment and development of different inherent aspects of the same essence in a sequential manner that first establishes the foundation out of which a spontaneous growth process as actualization takes place of its own volition.

Dreaming

All of life operates as Laws that evolve through a consistent growth process of becoming fully actualized. This natural growth process is a form of unfolding in a hierarchical fashion, where one phase sets the basis out of which the next is indicated and spontaneously emerges in what seems like an effortless movement. The lower (initial) is the foundation for the higher. Just as our childhood development determines the type of adults we become. They are dependent on each other and operate independently of each other in an interdependent fashion. These planes of existence as hierarchies are referred to as kingdoms or worlds, whole planes nested within greater planes as a unified reality that are ecological. Different aspects that perform different functions yet are of the same entity as a whole interdependent system that expresses by generating a coherent reality.

 

While we can separate and analyze each aspect in order to understand the laws that govern their operation, we must always perceive it in synthesis as being a fundamental part of a holistic operation. Each part has a specialization that’s a crucial part of a whole function. It operates as parts or aspects within a greater mind, just as the individual mind operates as parts of the greater family/group mind, community mind, national/cultural mind, and ultimately universal mind.

So the mind as viewed from the perspective of Spiritual Sciences as Subtle energy, can be thought of as individual consciousness that is self-aware, self-expressing, and self-creating all at the same time. A single thought process or act creates in a ripple fashion of expanding and including greater mind-fields, which serves to reinterpret them according to the same mind which perceives them to be of the same nature and likeness in terms of projecting our qualities, characteristics, preferences and tendencies onto them, seeing (perceiving) in them only what matches (forms correspondences) us in terms of our paradigm or vibratory frequency.

 

Our mind is a conscious field of energy as our ‘self’ that’s also the perceptual lens we look through in order to perceive everything else. Qualities and characteristics in another that are of the same nature as ours, form resonance with us, causing a reaction of some sort that stimulates us inwardly. They stand out as what we notice, give attention to, and reshape by thinking about them to form a perception of them that’s actually a correspondence to us. The creative ability of the mind is to regenerate itself as a basic means of expression. Perception itself is a form of interpretation that modifies everything as a vibrational match to ourselves in terms of perceiving them through our mental/emotional filters that conforms them to our dominant tendencies as thematic dynamics or prevalent and ongoing story-lines that we mold them into in a way that makes sense. The story we tell about them is the translation that reforms them to be like us in some way. We only see in others what first exists in us, in what is often a hidden or unknown aspect of ourselves.

Just as the Universal mind exists in a multitude of fragmentation’s as fractal patterns that are smaller minds of the same nature, our own mind exist in three basic aspects that have specialized functions known as the higher-self, the subconscious and conscious mind. The Higher-self is the greater mind-field which transcends into higher-dimensions of pure consciousness, while the subconscious is the body/instinctual (heart) consciousness, and the conscious mind is the brain/sensory consciousness. The Higher-self is what we commonly call the spirit-soul, the subconscious our basic personality, and the brain the creative function that forms self-awareness through it’s identity with the external world that ultimately births the ego as a result, which is the aspect of our identity that’s based on the physical realm of possessions and position, that are ultimately false in nature because they are dependent on external means in order to create a image of itself in relationship with it that are temporary and illusory in nature. All aspects of the mind form a step-down process of conscious energy creating experiences of itself in the physical realm. It’s our inner nature that forms our personality that automatically expresses through our behavior, while the conscious mind creates illusions of itself that often tell a different story from the one that they naturally demonstrate through automatic behavior that they are seemingly unaware of, and therefore assume others are fooled by the same false image that they have created as a means of re-representing themselves to be what they wish they were, instead of what they actually are. They then make the basic assumption that others perceive their false image as well, when in reality, others are only seeing what matches their paradigm as their perceptual lens or the actual behavior a person demonstrates on an ongoing basis.

Likewise, each vital organ within the body generates an electromagnetic field that has its own level of consciousness and associated functions, which operate as a part of a greater whole. Every single entity pairs off in dual aspects that mimic the electro-magnetic effect of mitosis as regeneration that multiplies in pairs of itself. The mind operates according to the same natural laws that govern all living systems. Duality and multiplicity is the fundamental nature of unity. Just as the body is comprised of billions of cells that all contain the same DNA for structuring and functions, that begin as one then divide and multiply in pairs, while migrating to different locations playing out different roles within the same body which operates as a greater single entity that’s an enclosed system.

 

Our primary consciousness doesn’t perceive the individual cells that make up our body, but only perceives itself as a whole body with a personality and identity that always perceives the world in terms of stories that play out in its mind and imagination and the feeling sensations that stimulate it from within as bodily sensations that form corresponding thoughts and emotions as a result. There’s a constant chain-reaction as a chain-of-association going on all the time, all prompted by an electrical impulse of some sort that comes from invisible forces that surround and interact with us on a constant and ongoing basis. Which ones influence us in lesser or greater proportions are based on the quality of consciousness which forms an equivalent as a vibratory frequency that not only tunes us into the thoughts and emotions prevalent on that plane that are of the same nature, but also determine what we form resonance with as the fundamental component for forming thematic realities that are of a congruent nature. Our energetic frequency as our mind-field determines what we notice in the objective outer world, where we place our attention, and how we reinterpret it as a means of using it as the basic components for telling the same type of stories that we always tell about others and the external world as an expression of our selves.

Reality in itself as objective, is a perception and projection of the larger Universal mind (original creation), while our subjective reality is a personal creation of our own making that creates our ‘self’ as an expression of ourselves. All perception is ultimately a form of fundamental projection that restructures it through vibratory resonance that shapes it into a new pattern as a variation that’s a co-creation of us, the individual mind, with the greater, universal mind, forming a unified realty that’s unique to us as created by us. The Universal as absolute remains the same and is neutral in nature, allowing us the ability to co-create a separate reality by how we infuse it with meaning of some sort that shapes it into a story of some kind. That story is our signature and is always composed as a reflection of our inherent style. It always has the same theme and style of story-telling, not only in terms of the story itself, but also in terms of ‘how’ we tell it.

The 4 Elements – The Etheric Body and the Nature of Memory

 

While there are many ways to look at what’s referred to as the 4 Elements, which represent the material realm, one of it’s most primary interpretations is as the very substance of what we think of as the material world as the experience produced by the mind that becomes the basis for memory. Memory, which comes from a reality, has the full building blocks or interactive components of an actual reality even when it exists in it potential or unformed state. The information it’s comprised of and the active force that brings it to life, are the basic “seed” necessary to produce a living reality. A seed as a series of encoded information contains strands of DNA that provide the material as a regenerative process and the spatial blueprints for creating a living form.

The 4 Elements as we’ve come to know them represent Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. These seemingly 4 components only signify 2 actual Elements of Fire and Water, which combined produces Air, and Earth represents the whole combination as a physical reality. In its original depiction, Water and Earth were considered one element, representing three Elements of the Triad or Triangle as the symbol of the 3 aspects of the mind that create an internal reality as the combination of Fire and Water, that was then reflected to produce the outward reality, symbolized by the number 4, or the Tetrad. Fire and Water are symbolic of the masculine and feminine polar aspects of Spirit as a unification. Spirit is traditionally represented as Air or breath. All of Life as we know it is comprised of the 2 Elements of “Yin and Yang”, and the 2 correspondences they form as their offspring which is the combination of them to produce material form.4 elementThe 4 Elements also form the Tetragrammaton, as the sacred name of God, commonly spelled “YHVH”, or YOD-HE-VAU-HE, where Yod represents Fire or Will, He represents Air as intellect, Vau represents Water as Feeling, and the second He represents Earth as the manifestation of will. This spelling, where only two letters are different or unique, though similar in structure to each other (Y V), and two are repeats (H H), is significant of the idea that only 2 true Elements exist as the single or unified constitution of the One- Spirit, and the other two are correspondences as the inner and outer reflection. These can also be seen as representing idea, thought, feeling, and action, which are always unified and create an experience of reality, both internally and externally. They are also always comprised to form a memory which either comes as the result of the manifested idea as the end result, or as the basis used for creating the outer experience as a material reality. Memory is both the beginning and the end, the creator, the outer experience as an event, and the one having the experience. We create our present experiences out of the accumulation of our past experiences as memory. Everything we learn, we acquire as a memory either as an imagined concept of an idea that forms it into an inner reality as a memory, or as an actual experience that contained a lesson and came about by experimenting. Notice that experiment and experience are almost the same word.

When we contemplate an idea and begin thinking about it, we form it into an internal conceptualization as an actual experience of the idea as a reality, or we form an internal representation as a metaphor that serves as a symbolic correspondence. Both of these are formed in our mind in much the same way we construct an actual memory, or replay it as a way of reliving it. There’s no actual difference between a memory created in the imagination of an idea, or one created through an actual event, outside of the fact that the actual event had significantly intense feelings and emotions associated with them. The only memories we attain in a detailed manner from our life experiences, are ones that had a significant emotional impact. The emotion is what forms the structure of the memory in terms of how we interpret it to form a story that we tell ourselves about why it happened and what it means.

Memories are formed out of a combination of feeling sensations, emotions, and thoughts that produced distinct actions based on them. The memory, which is in reality a personalized interpretation of an outer neutral event, is activated by the emotion associated with it, or the same sensory content, that then activates the behavioral pattern of the memory, setting into motion a whole automatic pattern that repeats the past in the present, creating more of the same type of memories. This is why 5, as the pentagram or Pentad, symbolic of the etheric Element as “mind over matter”, operates by the principle of “regeneration”, further symbolized by the Fibonacci Sequence of reproduction in which the most recent past brought into the present produces the future, and the holographic affect also called fractal patterns, where the mind simply reproduces more patterns that are of the same nature (memory) as it is.

A memory can be thought of as a state of mind or vibration that contains the pattern as a blueprint for producing a reality in a completely unconscious and automatic fashion. How we create our experiences is based on our state of mind or our soul mood. Memories are living thought-forms shaped by the mind out of the Elements that are viewed and replayed – kept alive – in the imagination as the invisible patterns we picture in our mind over top of actual reality as an invisible or translucent story that we use to restructure our current reality to be of the same nature. We use memory to make our current situation mean the same thing as our past situation did.

This reality that we form in our imagination is shaped out of the Elements as the etheric substance, or Astral Light. Just as light in the material world is actually invisible and only illuminates the atmosphere because it’s being both absorbed and reflected by dust and water particles in the air, is used inwardly by the mind of the individual to form an internal reality, even though it has the “feeling” of an actual visible picture, it’s translucent and invisible and can be viewed by superimposing it over or in front of the outer reality as our perceptual lens that we look through that determines what we see (that matches it and is being absorbed) and what we don’t see (what’s not a part of the same idea and is being reflected. Ideas exist in us in exactly the same way actual memories do, and can be used by the mind to form internal realities by picturing, sensationalizing, and thinking about them.

A thought is an active memory. While thoughts seem to be generated by the mind, they’re actually “tuned into and received” out of the invisible space around us, which is actually light intermingling with water and matter. The light of the material world that’s basically invisible in the physical world, comes from a star (our sun), and is therefore called “Astral Light”. Stars are the only living entities that are a true source of light. Everything else gets its material existence as matter, which is also light as photons, in its condensed form, by either absorbing or reflecting certain aspects or rays of light, which appears to us as colors or solid objects. This Astral Light that forms the Etheric body of all living forms, exists in four primary states as a gradient condensation as; electrified plasma (same substance as stars), gas, liquid, and solid. It’s used by the mind as a gas that behaves like a liquid, and can be shaped instantly into form by thinking. The power of the spoken Word (vibration), spoken both in silence to ourselves as thoughts, and outwardly as talking, comes through it’s ability to form images out of the words as the shapes they represent. As our mind thinks about something, it creates a reality out of it. The inner realities become the basis for outer realities of the same nature. As we think, we become. All of our experiences are our sole creation, produced by how we use our mind to perceive, interpret and tell ourselves a story about things. We shape, grow, and develop ourselves by way of our own story-telling and thought-forms.

pentagramThe 5th Element, represented by the Star or Pentad, represents the quintessence as the Ether body produced by how the mind shapes the 4 Elements into imagined and therefore “willed” realities. The Etheric body exists as a form of memory, or etheric substance that’s an (invisible) double or twin to the material body. The masculine (active and invisible) and feminine (passive and visible) aspects inherent in any physical body as the unification of dual yet complementary opposites. The etheric body forms the memory of the body, evolved by the soul through thinking, emoting, and imagining. The soul is the Astral Body, represented by 6, as another “star” image. The Astral Body is similar to the Air Element, and is the correspondence produced by the combination of Spirit as archetypal memory, and the body as individual memory, or Fire and Water. The soul is composed of accumulated memory acquired by combining archetypal memory to produce a variation as personal memory. As it acquires experiences from the body, it transposes them into personalized memory as the essence of the body, and absorbs and synthesizes it, evolving itself through the memory it attains.

The soul is the medium or intermediary between the Mental or Causal body and the physical – etheric body. Between pure spirit as unadulterated memory and its denser aspect as coagulated, specialized, and concentrated light as matter. Spirit exists in pure essence as archetypes and principles that are drawn on by the soul to bring into the body as a modified interpretation to create a specific experience by way of it. When the universal idea comes into physical expression, it has to come as an introduction of thought as suggestion into the individual form that’s a specialized combination of both physical-genetic and soul memory, that modifies it to fit the container of the individual mind necessary in order to conceive it, where it’s turned into a personalized version of the original. A thought or idea is drawn into the individual soul as a seeded reality that the soul-mind grows and shapes into a possible reality by imagining it that provides the subconscious mind of the body with a pattern for creating a reality out of. Likewise, the human soul, which has the power to create through thinking, feeling, and imagining as the will, creates thought forms as imagined realities formed out of intense emotional states that it dwells in an thinks about over and over, developing it with more detail and variations each time it thinks about it, infusing them with the souls life-force, that creates a form of virtual memory that populates the Astral Plane of the Earth, as our atmosphere or instinctual field of the subconscious mind, and acts the same as universal memory and is “picked up on” by other humans in much the same way they attract and acquire archetypal thoughts and ideas.

This ability to create artificial memory as illusions born out of emotional states and fantasizing about them, is what’s referred to as the collective unconscious, or mass consciousness of the group mind. We can literally tune into and draw into our mind the thoughts of others around us, which come to us in the same way as any thought or memory, out of the clear blue, as a feeling we get or something we just start thinking about as a part of our continuous stream of thoughts. Most of the time we have no idea that we’re thinking someone else’s thoughts, because we only resonate – attract and act as a receiver for – those who have similar thoughts or are vibrating at a similar frequency. Because they’re similar to ours, we mistake them for our own, and often allow them to take hold in us by continuing to think about them. This is also the basis for telepathy and clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience, all of which come as transmissions in the Astral Plane.

So simply allow yourself to start recognizing the role memory plays as the very foundation for your thinking and imagining. As you think, observe yourself in terms of what it means to think. What is thought? What activities are you engaging in as you form thoughts as imagined concepts and scenarios? How is this similar or different from how you think about actual memories? Allow yourself to realize that all knowledge learned comes through memory of some form, whether simply imagined, memorized through repetition, imagined or conceptualized, or as an actual experience.

Allow yourself to notice that what you’re thinking about today is very similar if not exactly the same as what you thought about yesterday, last week, or last year. Notice, that all you’re ever really doing, for the most part, is thinking the same type of thoughts born out of the same attitude and temperament consistently throughout our lives, evolving and varying them only slightly through different applications of the same basic ideas. Notice, especially as you get older, that even though your outer circumstances may be quite different today than they were five years ago, that inside, as a person, your nature has remained consistent, and in some cases unchanged. That all we’re ever really doing is growing ourselves by expanding and acquiring new kinds of memory, that evolve us into new ways of thinking, perceiving, and experiencing ourselves and the world around us. That while we believe our thoughts and memories were acquired neutrally or objectively by the events of our life that happened to us beyond our control, and that we’re the “way we are” because of what happened to us along the way, the fact is our life is the way it is because it’s a direct reflection of how we think about it. That what we call our experiences and memories are actually our own creation, and are completely subjective in nature.

While we don’t control the outer events and circumstances of our life, especially as children, how we interpret them internally creating our experience of them, is something we do all by ourselves, to ourselves. It comes completely by how we use the elements to first create an internal experience as feelings, emotion, thoughts, and meaning that form a story about what happened, and why, that forms how we experience and remember it. Long after that events gone, and no longer exists as real, and we’ve grown more mature through years, we still live out of and replay in our mind the same basic group of memories, creating more of the same type of experiences, and living out of the same type of story which becomes a life theme. Stories we told ourselves as children, are still the realities we’re living out of as adults. We shaped our identity as our sense of self out of our own stories about things. We completely live and die by way of our own mind that thinks and feels through our body, producing our experience of reality.

All reality is a product of memory.

The Nature of Personal Power – “How to Become Empowered in your own Life while Empowering others in Theirs”

The quest for personal power takes on many faces, and can present a real dilemma for many people, most of which induce an endless compromise as a negotiation between unconscious-feeling aspects of themselves, and conscious-aware aspects. Whether or not we “own” our power and employ it as part of our personality and normal ways of doing things is not based on our conditioning in the typical sense, but rather how we respond to the events and activities of our life that establish and develop our identity. Even our conditioning and how we’re trained to certain dynamics being acted out and what role in that dynamic we take on as a part of our natural personality, develops the story we begin living out of that gives us a sense of ourselves by way of that story. We begin taking on a position early in life of either defiance, or stubbornly standing our ground when others act to intimidate or exercise power over us, or we back down, submit, become meek and emotionally weak, and allow them to control us, and thereby determine us.

Whatever role we take on in the dynamic we’re raised with develops us according to that role, and the story we begin developing in our minds as a way of understanding the way people are, and the way life is, also comes to define us in relation to it all. The story we begin telling ourselves as a way of making sense of it all, becomes the role we take on in general, and how we come to identify with our own story about things. We develop “interactive dynamics” out of our story about things where we are either in a position of self-control and initiation, or where we’re reacting to being controlled and manipulated by others through a reactive state.

 
When we feel powerless, there are typically a couple of ways we approach it, either succumbing to it and being a victim, helpless to change while suffering because of it, or we begin the quest of “getting” power by taking it from others. Some engage in a constant process of trying to exercise control over others or a situation by being manipulative, coercive or antagonistic. They’re always trying to figure out what they need to do to get others to do what they want them to do. They design their behavior strictly according to manipulative strategies that rely on a victim mentality that will give into them. In this dynamic, the person seeking power has to hook-up with the person whose willing to give up their power, and the victim who lacks power or looks to readily give theirs away, hooks up with the villain who gladly takes it. We always form relationships with our complementary opposite and continue acting out dynamics as a form of negotiation and soul-bartering.

 
You can always tell the difference between who has power and who doesn’t by their behaviors and what attitude they’re expressing and demonstrating. These same type of dynamics are being played out in all areas of our life, through various relationships, whether they be friendships, romantic, siblings, parent-child, social, or in the workplace. Whatever idea a person is imprinted with is integrated into their psychology and becomes a dynamic part of even their most basic behaviors. It becomes a natural part of who they are and how they’re being as a fundamental part of their personality and identity that they carry with them into all of their life-situations.

All relationships involve an interaction of consciousness as energetic dynamics formed by complementary opposites, that act on each other, stimulating in each other the opposite expression of the same trait that they share in common, that together form the interactive roles necessary to act out a dynamic as a joint reality that reinforces and strengthens each persons role in that dynamic. In every relationship you have the attraction and interaction of opposites as active and passive, masculine and feminine, outer and inner, and dominant and recessive. When relationships first form, one person or element establishes dominance over the other, which sets into motion a larger dynamic that the relationship serves to act out. In a healthy relationship, the roles of dominance are shared and move back and forth depending on what they’re doing or dealing with, where each individual’s strengths and powers are utilized to serve the greater good of both as a unit or interactive whole. This “dynamic-duo” action utilizes the strength of both as a dance with life. Here power is shared and equally moves between them as a coordinated effort or psychological strategy. In unhealthy relationships that exist with a lack of balance, one person consistently dominates and intimidates the other into submission, even when they clearly lack knowledge and abilities in the area of life they’re dealing with. This is where one person wants to exercise exclusive control over the other through a form of dictatorship, that ultimately becomes abusive. In this type of situation, one is always in the process of trying to get power by taking it from the other, and a power struggle ensues. The other usually responds by retaliating and contesting, purposely deceiving them behind their back, or by becoming passive and weak while building resentment that turns into hatred.

 
In any situation or behavioral dynamic being acted out as a relationship, you can immediately establish who has power, who’s looking to get power by taking it, and who readily surrenders and gives up their power while succumbing to the will of another in order to be accepted, loved, or to be apart of things. A person who has power, and therefore doesn’t need to get it from others or establish it outwardly through station or status, is not only comfortable in themselves, but act to stimulate others through the demonstration of their own power, employing them in a sense through a form of shared power. When we outwardly demonstrate power, we inspire others to access their own power in relation to us. We don’t necessarily give our power to those who don’t have power of their own, but rather when we demonstrate power as confidence and clarity of mind and purpose, we give them an example of what power is, what it feels like, and how to recognize it in others and themselves. Just through the nature of our interaction we connect them with that same internal resource, activate it in response to us, and call it forth in them, while giving them an example as a possible means for expressing it by stepping into it and becoming it.

 
Because true personal power is the most valued human commodity, and so few people actually possess it, and even fewer people know how to openly and comfortably express it by demonstrating it, many have no role-model that gives them a clear idea of what power looks and feels like when you’re in the presence of it. This is largely because power is a self-contained quality that’s connected to and drawn on completely from an internal source and not sought outwardly through an interaction of some sort. When we’re in the “presence” of those who are powerful we form an immediate sense of admiration for them, that causes us to feel a certain way, where we naturally access those same qualities in ourselves by resonating with them and entering into a natural state of rapport with them. Because of this, we feel more powerful when we’re around them. By watching their behavior and attitude, we can model (imitate) it, and in doing so bring out in us the same feeling. We can acquire a behavior as a form of template or instruction for learning “how” to be in our power. We can then “practice” being in such a way that we connect to the inner resources of “being that way” becoming a channel for expressing that quality which reshapes our character according to it.

geneIn order to access and develop a quality, we have to have a behavior or means for “being it”, that through the practice, we become like it. If we don’t have a pathway or way of doing something, we often stop at the realization of not knowing what to do or how to do it. This is what many people experience as being “stuck” when they’re attempting to change and transform their ability to manifest new realities by expressing in new ways. When it’s demonstrated for us, it acts to stimulate those same feelings in us, while giving us a model to imitate. By embracing that feeling while employing the same type of behaviors, we become the same in mind and body, and cultivate the same feeling state as a way of being in ourselves.

 
Whatever “state-of-being” is around us, we feel it’s presence through resonance, which activates those same feelings and qualities in us, calling them forth in response to it. As we “observe” the outward behaviors that express and inward feeling, and we “enter into them” through a state of rapport as inspiration (admiration), we naturally take on the same type of behaviors, becoming the outward expression of the same feeling-quality, and in being “one with it”, become the same as it. We not only access the same feeling-state within us that’s comparable to the outer state stimulating it, but we become the vehicle for expressing that state, and cultivate ourselves by way of that state to “be” like it.

 
This is the phenomenon of the most basic laws that govern our mind-body system as resonance (like begets like), sympathetic induction (vibration enters into the same vibration in another and produces an effect), and coherence that reorganizes the similar patterns of both to form a new pattern as a new whole. Whatever quality as a state of mind being outwardly demonstrated, stimulates, awakens, and brings into active expression that same feeling-state in everything around it. As it activates it and calls it forth, it becomes the basis of their interaction, which is the interactive expression of that same shared quality in both people. As it’s expressed through the dynamic (behavioral pattern) being acted out as the means for expression, it’s developed and strengthened in both people, and develops our character and tendencies through the shared enactment. We become one with the quality itself as a power, and it acts on us to reshape us into a new form and gives us a new way of being as the channel for expressing that characteristic.

energySo the quest for power that’s always going on, even when we don’t realize it or recognize it as such, is always acting on us to shape us in response to it. We only grow by what we resist. By recognizing this, we move into a position of not being affected by it by reacting to it in an automatic fashion, and we realize in that moment of control that we can “choose” our response. Once we begin realizing what’s going on energetically, while actively choosing how or if we’re going to respond, we begin exercising the first stages of taking back possession of our power to self-create and become self-determined through masterful use of our will. We can begin taking an objective view of any situation, seeing the underlying dynamic going on, and interact with it accordingly, with full awareness of what we’re doing and why. In this way we can truly exercise our power over the emotions of others and the material world, not by beating it into submission, but by entering into it while still maintaining full awareness of what we’re doing, become one in mind and body with it, then introduce an influence that will naturally bring out different qualities in others, and in doing so, lead it in a whole new direction through a state of complete cooperation.

 
This ability to work with the energy and consciousness of a situation is the exercise of true power and psychological dominion over the material plane as the ultimate form of leadership, where people don’t even realize they’re being led, and where you act to naturally bring out the best in people that creates an activity that serves the greater good in the most beneficial way possible for everyone involved. In a business sense, the greater good is the vision and mission of the business, and in an intimate relationship, the greater whole is the best possible response that brings out the best in each other and develops it through a loving and intimate interaction.

 
When we are in full possession of our own mind and body and able to operate it with strategic intelligence, we simultaneously realize that our power over others comes as a direct result of our power over ourselves, and the most natural way we control others is by how we influence them through our own behaviors. Not by attempting to exercise power over them or by reducing them to an inferior status, but by becoming an example for them to follow. We lead them by inspiring them in such a way that it brings out the best in them through an elevated state of being, that we then enter into a concert with becoming an example for them to imitate. We first act to bring out the necessary qualities and traits in others by embodying them ourselves, then give them a pathway for expressing them through the example we set, that elevates their station, and develops them through higher character traits to be fully empowered in their own lives by using their will as it’s intended to self-create and become a productive part of a greater idea to which they resonate and aspire towards. This not only creates a state of cooperation and uninhibited participation, but a sense of enthusiasm and passion that forms a deep sense of complete and utter devotion to the greater whole of which they are now an active and important part. Conscious Programming – “The Art of Self-Creation”

The conscious aspect of the mind has the ability to program the subconscious mind, yet we have to first realize that they actually speak (work by) different languages. The conscious mind is abstract and thinks in terms of verbal language as words that lack behavior as actualizing, whereas the subconscious mind is experiential and emotional in nature and speaks in terms of pictures and sensory images as life-like realities that mimic actual memories. The conscious mind programs the subconscious (body awareness) through the imagination as an inner vision that transforms an abstract idea into a conceptualized reality. The imagination as the mind’s eye takes a basic idea, and through the process of applying it to a specific situation or set of circumstances, reinterprets it by personalizing it. We imagine it “as if” we were actually experiencing it as a real life situation. This creates the idea as a living pattern equivalent to a memory, which the subconscious uses to produce behavior that “acts out” the same scenario as a real life experience.

 
By imagining the desired idea as a reality, we not only create a pattern for application, but also create it as a believable possibility that we simultaneously identify with through the enactment. This creates the desired reality as an inner reality that the subconscious superimposes on the outer reality, organizing and reinterpreting it accordingly. The mind constructs realities by how it composes ideas to give them meaning. The meaning we give an idea determines how we experience it. Meaning shapes experience. It takes the imagined reality as an actual experience, which integrates and incorporates it through an accumulative effect that modifies the current paradigm as a system of beliefs based on memory (living realities) as a unification of the physical with the spiritual that provides a new template for generating thematic realities as analogous correspondences. It creates experiences that are of the same nature as a form of theme.

We take an abstract idea as a universal theme, and create an inner reality as a template that produces a frequency that’s used to magnetize and organize the outer reality as being of a similar nature. It won’t be exactly the same as the inner imagining, because it can only use elements in the immediate environment that are of the same frequency and therefore lend themselves to telling the same type of story. The outer experience will be of the same nature and basic idea of the imagined reality based on what’s available in the immediate environment that can be used to orchestrate the experience as a congruent theme.

 
Ideas, as feeling experiences, represent a vibratory frequency that attracts what is of the same nature and therefore has the same inherent tendencies that can be used to express the same idea as a joint reality. Whatever is of a different frequency, likewise, is simultaneously repelled. We only “see” ourselves (what matches our paradigm) in others and our environment, even though many other possibilities coexist within the same space and time. What is of the same nature as us we not only notice and give attention to (it stands out), we simultaneously allow to enter into us (energetic sympathy), stimulating an inner reaction (resonance) to it as a result. This is what we refer to as chemistry that produces a natural interaction based on an affinity of sorts.

 
When we allow ideas to readily and willingly be introduced into our mind, and take hold by thinking about them, we are allowing ourselves to be “programmed” by others or an external source. We then become subject to it because it acts to “tune us” to the same vibratory frequency as a joint reality that we create inward using our own mind. We allow ourselves to be determined – created – by outside forces. This is the result of the subconscious and passive aspect of the mind as our animalistic (body) nature that can be readily trained and domesticated by outside influences that we align with and allow to control us. We are influenced by another mind that imposes a direct influence on us, dominates by introducing an active force as an idea that’s willingly accepted by our passive and receptive mind, that controls us by absorbing and commanding our will.

When we give our will to the service of another by conforming to them, they act to control us and determine our behavior, which also shapes our identity accordingly. We enter into a sympathetic relationship with them, and through suggestion that acts to modify and manipulate our inner reality, we respond to them in a very predictable way. They train us to behave in a certain way by how they interact with us. Through the emotional quality of their communication, which acts as the hook for seating ideas in the imagination, allowing them to take hold long enough to develop them into personal realities by thinking about them in a compulsive manner. They “give us” emotional thoughts that are theirs, and we adopt them and then act to develop them as our own. This forms the basis of what we refer to as the “group mind” which is ultimately a form of subliminal mind entrainment designed to train people to certain types of behavior that they mistaken for their own.

 
Once we understand how we use our mind to self-create by creating internal realities that become the living patterns for outer realities of the same nature, we can withdraw our mental and emotional power from the group mind, and use our imagination to self-create in unique and individual ways instead. We can program our own mind and body by creating inner experiences of our desired reality, then enhancing them with sensory details, while infusing them with very positive emotions that magnetize them by making them compelling. Positive attracts and grows, negative repels and diminishes. To “become” by growing ourselves, is achieved through positive and active means, while allowing our negative, self-sabotaging aspects to fall away and subside, because we no longer keep them alive in our imagination. Fill your mind constantly with what you desire to experience and how you want to feel as a result. Sense yourself in very desirable ways that will shape your identity accordingly and will form your character as the means of bringing ideas into physical form as experiences that are self-perpetuated and performed by you!

Learning to Relax: The Art of Managing your Emotional State

One of the first things we need to realize when working to change conditioned tendencies and habits of any kind, is that we don’t have to ‘stop’ something, but rather begin ‘doing’ something else. So to say things like “stop stressing out”, “quit worrying”, or “just relax”, don’t mean anything in the truest sense, because we’re not telling them “how” to do it, or “what” to do instead. Just as you have to learn how to quit thinking in terms of what you ‘don’t want’, and focus on what you ‘do want’ instead, when changing any behavior or practice, we simply direct our attention into a different activity and concentrate on doing it, knowing that in doing so, we’ll give ourselves a new behavior to do in place of the behavior we’re eliminating. All creation and transformation begins by learning to control and direct our attention into what we want to do, rather than what we don’t. We don’t ever quit habits, but rather transform them into new habits.

 
The first component to learning how to systematically relax your body is by learning to breathe correctly. While this idea has a funny sound to it, because it’s something we all do naturally and therefore are hardly ever instructed on ‘how’ to do it, comes by becoming aware of the power of our breathing, and the relationship it has with all other mental, emotional, and physical functions of our mind-body system. Just by focusing our attention on our breathing, turns our attention inwards and we become centered in our body. By first taking a couple of deep breaths, regulates our breathing, which can then be allowed to fall into a smooth and consistent rhythm. By breathing deeply, extending into the abdomen, we influence all major body systems with the same rhythmic motion, synchronizing them. When we inhale deeply, then pause in a slight hesitation, before exhaling, then slightly hesitating again before drawing in our next breath, prevents us from hyperventilating, and also introduces a form of timing, that calms the mind and relaxes the whole body by way of the same double count. Draw in, relax, release, and relax.

 
You’ll notice that just by regulating your breathing in a conscious way, simultaneously calms your mind, releases emotional tension held in the body, and slows your heart rate down. As your heart rates drops to a relaxed state, your blood pressure drops with it, and more tension is released. If your mind starts drifting away from your breathing, simply redirect your attention back into the rhythm of your breath and become present once again in your body. As you continue breathing in a relaxed pace, bring your attention to how different parts of your body feels. Get a good sense of anyplace in your body that your holding tension of some kind.

Then, become aware of your feet, place your attention on your feet, and set the intention to relax them, and gently, but firmly tell them to relax. Feel them relax. Tell yourself, my feet are relaxed. Then become aware of your calves, and mentally direct your calves to relax. Repeat the same process to relax your lower legs. Then, repeating this process move systematically through your thighs, hips, abdomen, lower back, up your spine to your shoulders, into your chest, yours arms, shoulders and neck, up the back of your head, your ears, jaw, face and eyes. Systematically using your mind to relax your whole body. If you notice at any point that some part of your body already relaxed is starting to tense back up, simply stop and relax that part again, then pick up where you left off. Once your whole body is relaxed, just take a moment to notice how it feels. Be present with the feeling of your body, and sense yourself in a fully relaxed state.

 
Allow yourself to notice that as your body relaxes, so does your mind. Your mind is in sync with your body. They share the same feeling state. You feel a distinct calmness and inner peace throughout your entire being, and just allow yourself to notice . . . how good it feels . . . to relax. Give your full attention to this feeling of inner peace, and relish in it for a bit. Then, move your attention outward, expanding into your peripheral while staying centered in your body, and simply ‘feel’ everything around you. Notice how it feels to be there, to be present “in it” and a part “of it”. Notice the things around you, while refraining from “thinking about them”, and instead simply notice how they feel as you give them your attention and how that feeling resonates in your body.

 
Notice that when you calm your obsessive thinking, and focus on how it feels to be present with life, that time seems to stand still, your awareness expands out away from you, and you become intimately part of the space around you. When you’re no longer focused on listening to your own thoughts, and blend into the silence outside of you, you begin realizing that there’s a whole reality going on, that, for the most part, you’re completely unaware of, because you normally exist primarily in the reality produced by your own thinking and imagining mind. And while you hear the sounds around you, which are outside of you, you simultaneously feel the pulsation of your own heartbeat and feel an inner silence that brings a strange feeling of contentment and inner peace. Content . . . to just BE.

 
As you continue to practice this, starting with a couple of times a day, you’ll begin noticing that you not only feel better and have more energy (tension requires a lot of energy to maintain), and that you can concentrate deeper and for longer periods of time, but that you aren’t experiencing “negative” emotions nearly as often. This is because most emotions, particularly negative ones, form tension in your body. Notice that whenever you experience strong emotions, your whole body tenses up, with distinct concentrations of tension and strong sensations in particular parts of your body. You can work to control and regulate your emotional states just by learning to keep your body in a relaxed state. By managing your physical state, you simultaneously manage your emotional state to be equivalent, and you also manage your thoughts.


Notice, that when you feel relaxed, you have a tendency to feel positive (or neutral) emotionally, and your thoughts which are normally produced by others, environmental influences, and your emotional states, slow down, become relaxed and take on a somewhat pleasant quality. Also allow yourself to notice that some emotions actually produce a relaxed state, specifically feelings of love, beauty and grief. So as you begin releasing tension from your body, and develop the ability to maintain a relaxed state consistently, you begin naturally experiencing more pleasant emotions and the type of thoughts that go with them.

 
Start off doing this practice for short periods of between 5 and 15 minutes, once or twice a day, and begin using it to go to sleep at night. The more you do it, the easier it gets, and the quicker you can enter the full state of relaxation. By practicing for 4 to 6 weeks, a couple of times a day, it’ll become natural to you and you’ll be able to induce the state at will in an instant fashion. The more you do it, and the easier it gets, you may notice that you start extending the length of time naturally (relaxing feels good). Do whatever comes natural that you’re comfortable with doing. Once you’ve been doing it for awhile, and realize how good it feels, you’ll start doing it more often. You’ll begin using it like a tool for “self-management” anytime you feel stressed, anxious, or having a strong emotional event of some sort. The more present and relaxed you become in your life, the healthier and happier you’ll be in the most general sense.
