Mastering Your Own Mind – State and the Art of Transmutation

Everything in the material world is comprised of energy as vibration. All vibration is formed by movement as an interaction between complementary opposites of the same thing. All vibration consists of information and a self-organizing mechanism that organizes the information into a dynamic geometric pattern as a virtual reality that becomes the holographic blueprint for constructing the material equivalent as a growth and accumulative process.  Every idea is a vibratory pattern that exists as pairs of opposites that form a scale as a range of vibration that forms a frequency. Every vibratory frequency originates on the mental plane as a “state of mind” composed of qualities of consciousness that shape us and our outer reality to be a part of the same idea on different scales. Vibration as light (photons) exists as both a wave and a particle simultaneously, and forms both the inner and outer, the individual and its outer reality, the local and non-local mind as being of the same pattern as a theme played out on different scales and levels of complexity. The wave exists in a state of pure potential as all of the infinite possibilities associated with that vibratory theme at a non-local level. The particle of that same frequency exists as the physical body that the mind (wave/field) bonds to through resonance and sympathetic induction, and becomes located at a specific point within the outer realm of the same potential reality.

Vibration operates on multiple planes simultaneously with the same patterning as an archetypal idea that’s made into a whole thematic reality. Vibration contains an archetype (idea) as a feeling state, that produces thoughts of the same nature as concepts and internal representations that become the basis for creating it as a living scenario. Whatever reality is formed in the mind as the expression of the idea that’s adapted to a specific situation or set of circumstances, stimulates an emotional response to that reality which resonates through the chakra system of the subtle body, stimulating the associated endocrine glands of the physical body producing chemistry that adjusts it to the same vibratory state as the mind. There’s a constant back and forth flow of energy as information between the body and mind, keeping them both in a harmonious state of vibratory coherence.

This vibration as a feeling originates in the mind on the mental plane, and it’s within that plane that it’s altered, regulated, or transmuted altogether. The spiritual plane of pure consciousness (mind) exists in polarity with the astral plane of the soul (emotion), which acts as a medium between the spiritual plane and the material plane, and is comprised of combination of both. The astral plane of the soul, also exists in polarity with the material plane as it’s complementary opposite, which is what bonds it to the physical body, and acts to stimulate the matter of the body into activity and operates it through a back and forth motion as a self-perpetuating flow of conscious energy that simultaneously influence, modify, and transmute each other.

The emotions of the body (chemistry as a state) in turn produce like-thoughts as a perception of the reality they indicate, which produces a feeling state as a mood. All vibration moves between opposite poles of the same idea or thing as contrasting qualities and characteristics. An idea as a state-of-mind exists in polarity (dual aspects) as an electromagnetic interaction with itself from opposite perspectives. These complementary opposites are identical in nature, and vary only in “degrees”, not in “kind” or type. This range of vibration as degrees of opposites create and form a scale, much like a musical scale that we move along in stages that alter our state from a negative aspect (lower vibration) to the positive aspect (highest vibration) by varying degrees as a gradual movement of gradients. This gradient scale is comprised of very fine lines that are somewhat obscure as to where one degree or quality ends and the other begins.

For example: Our state of mind as a quality of consciousness can be applied to the same thing to determine how we experience it.  Love and hate are the same idea (pattern), separated only by degrees that move through varying levels of love into like, with different levels of liking something, into dislike and then into hatred, which again, exist at different levels and degrees of intensity. The positive end of love, always acts to attract us and draw us into it, and the opposite or negative of hate repulses us, and causes us to move away from it. Yet on the purely mental plane, hatred can consume us with an equal degree as love can. We can spend more time dwelling in and thinking about what we hate, dislike, and don’t want, than we do thinking about and dwelling in what we love, like, and want. This is why from a psychological perspective we say that you can’t truly hate someone or something unless you’ve also loved them.

A good way of understanding this principle in practical terms, is thru the idea of opposites of the same thing as degrees of differences, such as hot (fire) and cold (water), which together form an infinite number of “degrees” as “states” that move from one extreme to the other of the same thing. It’s hard to tell where heat ends and cold begins, because it exists as a range rather than a finite point. The same principle applies to light and dark, large and small, black and white, high and low, and positive and negative. All are of the same thing, varying only in degrees of vibration as a range or unified frequency. A frequency as a “range” between extremes of the same thing, is merely a mode and rate of vibration.

This same principle works on the mental plane with opposites such as good and bad, love and hate, fear and courage, greed and charity, lust and chastity, and is the principle expressed in the seven deadly sins (errors in being) and the contrary seven heavenly virtues (divine way of being). These vices and virtues are opposing each other, and provide the key for understanding true transformation, not from one thing to another, or changing in class or kind, but moving between the positive and negative pole of the same quality or characteristic as embodying the opposite aspect of the same idea.

Transmutation isn’t about completely changing your nature or becoming a different person altogether, but rather changing negative traits into positive ones through an understanding of the principle of polarity and how to apply that knowledge at the practical level (bringing it into practice) and through discipline and active use of will to act on yourself in a deliberate manner, to transform yourself by altering your vibratory frequency. Our character is primarily developed in two ways, through a form of stimulus – response at the subconscious level of formative conditioning, and through a conscious decision that we willfully act out as a creative process that intentionally develops us through those qualities as a way of being. We’re always in the process of developing and becoming a certain way, it’s only a question of whether we’re doing it with awareness, or through a lack of awareness.

The goal of spiritual development is to transmute yourself through self-mastery by purifying your moral character from a lower, animalistic and ignorant and unconscious state, to a higher, divine and intelligent state. To move from selfishness and corruption to selflessness and purity. To use the power of our mind as will to intentionally change our own perceptions, thoughts, and behaviors to those that are constructive, positively creative, and beneficial in raising our vibration to a higher level which is necessary for ascending to higher dimensions through induction as vibratory sympathy or being of the same nature and likeness as the frequency of the higher dimensions. All higher vibration involves greater forms of consciousness as intelligence that’s creative and life affirming in nature, rather than destructive and killing life.

Higher dimensions, often referred to as heaven or nirvana, are pristine paradises, which can only be created and maintained by those of the mind-set and natural behaviors that produce and sustain it in that state. Those who are of a lower, earthly, animalistic and unconscious mind-set, are destructive, unaware of the consequences of their actions, and lack the willpower and discipline to curb their own appetites and corrupting tendencies. They mindlessly act or participate in destroying and killing their own environment through sheer ignorance, a detachment from the reality of their actions, simply not caring, and the inability to direct their own mind by refraining from primal urges.

Through an understanding of the Law of Polarity we can work on ourselves to transform ourselves to a higher, creative way of being. We can alter our state, which will simultaneously alter our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We can recognize all traits that are being negatively expressed, and intentionally invoke the state necessary to move them to a positive expression of the same idea. We can transform fear by employing courage in its place and willfully acting it out. We can transform hatred into love, by looking through the eyes of love and seeking first to understand instead of judging and condemning. By learning how to produce and maintain our own state of mind, we can begin changing behaviors and perceptions that are negative in nature to the positive expression of the same idea and transform our experience of living from one of pain and suffering to one of joy and well-being.

Understanding the Musical Nature of the Mind as a Vibratory Frequency

The Mind as a Frequency Creates a Consistent Experience of Reality

When we use the term “musical” in this context, we’re not referring to music in the ordinary sense, but rather of the laws that govern music, which are the primary laws of vibration. Everything in the universe is energy vibrating at different frequencies. These frequencies are all interwoven and form a greater frequency as a form of symphonic orchestration or ecological system called “life”. All frequencies as a dimension, exist as an octave or range of the same “type” of vibration from a lower to a higher that comes as a growth or building process. Once a vibration reaches the highest point in an octave, it shifts to the next higher octave where the beginning note or vibration as an accumulation or summation, forms the base or foundation as the lowest point in the next octave, which begins a new growth process within that higher range or dimension. A simple dimension is comprised of a scale that’s made up of three octaves (stages), as interwoven and interdependent scales or levels of the same overall dimension as a harmonious creation or coherent reality. This 3 in 1 law, is inherent in every aspect of what we call material life.

In a scale or range of vibration, which is comprised of 7 notes, aspects, or stages, the highest note is the unification or summation of all the preceding notes of which it’s comprised of as an accumulative process. The higher we go in vibration, the more unified and holistic we become. The highest vibration in a scale contains all the vibrations or tones within that scale. So as we move from lower to higher, we move from singular to unified, from a “personal self” to a more “universal self”. Likewise, in these three levels of the same overall reality, also referred to as the body, mind, and spirit, the body is the lowest (singular) vibration, that forms a personal identity as an individual (body identification), the mind is a more expanded reality that includes all of our local or contained material reality, and the spirit includes not only all of humanity as a cohesive reality, but all of life as an accumulated or greater whole comprised of numerous individuals. So the higher our minds vibration, the more universal we become in our identity, and the more we move away from personal and selfish perceptions, agenda’s, and tendencies.

fabric of space

Energy as vibration, is a form of consciousness that has a self-organizing mechanism inherent in it that forms a distinct pattern as a series of smaller interwoven patterns that are all harmonious in nature and of the same frequency. This energetic pattern as a certain vibration or quality of consciousness, forms our individual mind as a paradigm or mental “model of the world”. Out of our paradigm as a pattern comes a reality that’s of the same pattern with the same self-organizing ability that reorders the elements of our outer environment to match the pattern of our inner environment as our mind or invisible aspect. Therefore our mind, as the invisible pattern of our vibratory frequency, forms our perceptual lens (we look “though” it), which forms the reality we see and experience as a personal creation or expression (projection) of our paradigm.

All of life as external, outer elements, exist in a purely “potential state” of all the frequencies of the material world, as consciousness itself is universal, and all inclusive as infinite. Our mind, always vibrating at a specific frequency or range of vibration, reforms the outer reality of pure consciousness and infinite possibilities, by resonating with it. Through resonance, we activate or bring to the foreground (conceive of), what matches our vibration, while deactivating or returning to an inactive, passive state, what doesn’t match our vibration. In this way, we reformulate the outer elements by organizing them into the configuration of our mind’s pattern, enhancing and embellishing the selected features, and then interpret the active features to fit into our story about them, as our mental pattern or “theme” for creating reality. It’s not that we actually “create what we see” as an actual manifestation, but rather through a form of natural or unconscious choice as an activating mechanism. Whatever we activate with our attention, we give life to.

Just placing our attention on something, transforms it as a compliance to our frequency as a pattern, that forms a thematic reality, by turning on some aspects, while turning off others, determining what expresses and what doesn’t, following the same laws as DNA. How something appears outwardly is based on how it’s arranged inwardly by the mind of the individual. Whatever we place out attention on and think about, we transform to be “like” us, or of the same reality as a frequency. We infect (sympathetic induction) and effect (vibrate) everything just by thinking about it. All matter is impregnated and animated by the consciousness of the individual being directed and projected at it. Our consciousness enters into (resonates) the matter of the material world around us, and gives it the life it has as being of the same level and quality of consciousness. What’s being observed, and the mind doing the observing, are apart of the same event. The mind has the ability to reshape the material world to match its frequency by simply perceiving it through it’s model, and then shaping it further by continuing to think about it.

Our frequency as our personal consciousness, creates as an expression on three levels simultaneously, as we self-express through the very nature of our perception, we shape ourselves (create our self-image as our identity), other people (to be of the same nature as we are), and the “way the world is”, through the same pattern as a cohesive reality. We create our reality as a story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about things, while simultaneously sensing ourselves through our own experiences, and becoming identified with them. In this way we’re always in the process of creating ourselves through an unconscious (automatic) level of self-expression, as resonating with the same vibratory pattern in everything else. Resonance takes place naturally and so we don’t realize what’s happening or why. We don’t fully realize how it is that we’re acting to create our own reality through purely energetic (spiritual) means as our conception of it. When we hear the comment that we all “manifest” our reality, we think it means we literally produce matter itself, rather than realizing we merely reformulate it by resonating with it, which changes how it appears.

sacred-grove-background-fractal-art-174698

Matter itself is void of its own consciousness, and acts as the receptor for consciousness, which enters into it (sympathetic induction) and alters it. Matter is the magnetic (feminine) aspect of consciousness, and attention as directed consciousness the electric or active (masculine) aspect. Attention directs an active quality of consciousness into matter, which acts as the receptor or vehicle for the active force, which gives matter it’s qualities and characteristics, which animate it. The active force reshapes it into the pattern of the frequency and changes how it appears in the mind perceiving it. In this way we never actually change matter itself in the permanent sense, but rather how it appears to us. The outer appearance of things is a direct reflection of the consciousness inhabiting it and holding it together as a cohesive and congruent reality, which is literally produced by the mind itself. Matter exists much like consciousness, in a neutral and universal state, and shape shifts according to the consciousness that impregnates it and the mind that perceives it.

In order to change reality or how things appear to us, we have to change our mind as our mental paradigm or vibratory frequency, which is what’s giving it the appearance it takes on. By changing our mind, we change reality itself, and see the same thing in a new way. The outer world remains the same, but we see something entirely different in it. Our activities don’t change, but the consciousness we employ while doing them changes, and thereby, we experience the same activities in a new and different way. To change the outer, we have to change the inner that’s shaping it. The same mind perceives the same reality continuously and consistently.

Employing Skillful Psychological Tactics as a means of Creating in a Conscious Manner

When I began teaching psychological skills for being able to create in your life with full awareness of what you were acting to produce in others, I came across a srprising realization. When I used examples of typical behavior that produced negative results, and refocused them on what results they actually wanted to produce in an intentional manner, then explored the type of behavior that would actually produce the desired response, that (some) people felt that if they acted in an intentional manner with awareness of what they were doing, that they’d be manipulative. Not to mention, the surprising realization, even for them, that they actually wanted to produce the negative response, because it was necessary for them to continue telling their story about people and the way things are. We’re all living out of a story we tell ourselves about things that we act to initiate as well as perceive being done to us by others.

The most fundamental problem you find around empowerment and skillfully employing psychological skills in creating is that many people don’t know “how” to be empowered, and can’t logically incorporate being empowered into their story-line that they live out of and produce naturally through automatic and largely unconscious behaviors. Of course, the most basic law we’re dealing with all the time, in everything we do, is “cause and effect”. Action that produces a like reaction; opposites of the same idea that act to compliment each other by playing complementary roles that act out the same dramas as a joint experience. When they remain unconscious and continue to produce negative responses that are ultimately destructive in nature, they feel as if they’re being “honest and authentic” (normal and natural) in their behaviors.

grid head

Yet, just the act of looking at the same situation objectively as how we act towards another to produce a reaction, while removing how they justify the negative reaction as revealing the truth about the other person, while not having anything to do with them, and simply asking how they could change their behavior to produce a different (positive) response (in their mind indicating that they’re doing something wrong), they initially become defensive and argue the point by saying that if they changed their behavior intentionally in order to produce a different response, that they’d be manipulating the other person, and would be dishonest somehow. They think this way without ever seeming to realize that the same law is involved, and the only difference is whether or not we’re conscious and acting in the situation with awareness of what we’re doing, or if we remain unconscious and take no responsibility for our part in the interaction.

To be an actual creator in your own life requires you to not only become more aware of what you’re doing to create your experience of life, but also how you directly act on other people to influence their behavior through the experience you create by how you interact and how you treat them. To be creative means to be able to change your own behavior in order to change other people’s behavior in response to you. It means being able to recognize what types of behaviors produce specific effects, and employing in an intentional and deliberate manner the behavior that’ll produce the desired response. The attitude we take, and the story it naturally produces is expressed in everything we do, and becomes the common denominator in all our experiences.

touching the void

Either way, whether we choose to remain unconscious in our own life, and therefore unaware of our own creative ability, or if we become conscious and begin acting in our own life with full awareness of how we’re being, and how that produces a distinct and equivalent response in everyone around us, we are still creating according to law. To be empowered at any time and in any situation comes through self-awareness, and our ability to first realize what response we want from others and life in general, and what attitude and behavior we need to employ and act out to produce it as a natural interaction. While we don’t have the ability to change other people, we very much have the ability to change ourselves and develop the ability to be flexible in our behavior, adapting it to whatever we need to in order to produce the response we want in others. It’s not being manipulative in the negative sense, but rather in the positive and creative sense. Either way, haphazardly through negative behavior, or consciously through positive behavior, we’re still acting to manipulate the situation by influencing and modifying it through the nature of our own behavior that serves to initiate and provoke a “like reaction”.

When we also realize the law of the mind that moves away from pain and discomfort, while moving towards pleasure and reward, we can use this knowledge to further develop our method of creating by realizing that if we make “dealing with us” a bad experience somehow, that it creates resistance and causes people to avoid us, stay away from us, or ignore us. Likewise, if we create a pleasant experience that’s fulfilling somehow, people cooperate fully, love being around us, and seek us out. If you want to build a sense of connection, openness, comfort, trust, safety, and a sense of happiness as the “experience” you create with others by how you act and interact, then you need to form a clear idea in your mind of the type of experience you want to create, and what type of behaviors you want to produce in others, and what behaviors you need to employ to “cause” it. Whatever attitude and behaviors we employ creates that same attitude and behavior in others. Through simple observation that’s objective in nature, we can identify this basic cause and effect relationship, and cultivate the flexibility that’s required to embody different states and the different types of behavior that naturally come out of them. In any system, whoever employs the greatest flexibility has the greatest influence over the system, and acts naturally to lead it.
