The Right Understanding of the Kundalini – The Path to Enlightenment or Insanity

What’s referred to as the “kundalini” energy of the body, often symbolized as being dormant until “awakened”, is a primal electric force that gives life to all of Nature. It’s the power that generates an inner light in those who meditate and concentrate on their spiritual and moral development. This natural force is the “cosmic electricity” that fills and animates form, commonly referred to as the “Fohat” or Fohatic Energy in Esoteric Sciences. It’s the fiery-electrical force which underlies everything visible and invisible, also referred to as “World’s Mother”, or “Mother of the World”, symbolized as the Vesica Pisces (Dyad) or “the Womb of the Universe” in Sacred Geometry, through which all life emerges as a birthing process. It’s the Universal Life Principle that works to animate the Universal Logos and brings life to all material forms.

The Kundalini is a power that moves in a circular, spiraling motion, symbolized by a “serpent”, which is often shown wrapped around and egg (thought in it’s potential state). This Universal Life Principle is a single force that’s comprised of two polar forces of attraction and repulsion, and manifests as electricity and magnetism, which are two aspects that perform opposing functions of the same force, and is what generates movement as expansion and contraction. What we call “electromagnetism” is a manifestation of this power, much like the aura of the body is but an emanation of the subtle body, yet is not the subtle body itself. While it’s usually thought of as an “electric force”, it’s actually electro-magnetic in nature, and as it expands, it simultaneously magnetizes with an attractive force. It resides in a dormant state until it’s “stimulated” and “rises” in an active state to “fill and vitalize” an astral form (imaginary thought) of some kind shaped in the higher faculties of the mind.

Kundalini is the active principle of the Universal Logos, and is what fills and brings life to universal archetypes that manifest throughout Nature, forming the various kingdoms and the species of conscious beings that populate them. In the mind of man this force is what gives life to our thoughts. It’s the Universal Life Power, symbolized by the element of Fire as the electrical force that enters into and animates ideas, causing them to expand and manifest as a three-dimensional reality. This power is natural to man, who is bestowed with the higher capacities of thought in creating reality, and is NOT worked with through calculated methods or as mechanical processes. There’s really no such thing as engaging in a supposed process of attempting to “raise the kundalini power” from the lower self of the body to the higher centers of the mind through a meditative process of “visualization”. This idea is born out of a misunderstanding of the Universal Principles involved and an incorrect conception of how the spiritual centers (chakras) of the subtle body function as a cohesive whole. Most attempts to do this are formed for selfish reasons out of the desire to somehow attain special psychic abilities, achieve elevated levels of consciousness through a form of shortcut, or to experience inner sensations of bliss, which are the promises used to lure people in. All true spiritual development only comes by way of consistent effort put forth in learning how to develop skill in mastering our own mind-body system.

This is the reason why “kundalini” is hardly ever mentioned in most ancient spiritual doctrines or texts on occult sciences, outside of the modern “New Age” movement. Like all great truths that are misunderstood by those who lack true knowledge which is only attained through years of devotional study of higher spiritual principles, practices are developed and promoted that can be outright dangerous in the development of the soul, and usually only lead to spiritual degradation, and oft times even various forms of mental illness. I’m sure that most who have taken the time to thoroughly investigate the idea of “raising the kundalini” from the sacral chakra to the crown or third-eye, have also been warned or heard stories of people who experience intense anxiety, hard to control emotional outpourings, disturbing hallucinations, and an almost overwhelming intensity of passions, emotions, and sexual arousal. This is due to the fact that they are working by completely artificial means to raise the energy of the lower, animal instincts through the lower chakras where it culminates in the higher mind and fuels our thoughts and imagination. As animal instincts begin animating and controlling our thoughts with an addictive intensity, they simultaneously govern our behavior through emotional impulses that we find overwhelming and difficult to retain, and ultimately result in psychotic behaviors that are destructive in nature.

Understanding and Working by Way of Universal Principles

If we contemplate this idea through the spiritual principles at work in the relationship formed between the mind and body as our higher and lower nature, we can gain great insights into how this process actually works. This idea, like so many others that result from a fairly significant misunderstanding of the Universal Principles involved, came about largely through the “New Age Movement” which attempted to infiltrate Eastern religions with Western ones as a means of forming a new one that encompassed them both into a single idea, and through the Principles of Yoga being introduced into western society which was primarily conditioned through various forms of Christianity, which of course are based on entirely different paradigms and models of behavior. They tried to interpret occult philosophy through a profane model born out of ignorance of Universal concepts, and the results were often disastrous, if not outright dangerous.

I came into true knowledge around this idea through an adverse intuitive reaction I formed when studying the psychological process involved, and through contemplating the controversy that was generated around the symbol of the “caduceus” as being “mistakenly” used to represent healing and medicine, as opposed to the single serpent staff of Asclepius, along with the realization that the “original” images of the caduceus was always shown as “3” (thrice great) revolutions around the rod that began (with loose ends) in the fourth chakra and ended at the crown, represented by the winged sphere of the higher intellect and rational mind. The modern day depictions of the caduceus have been redesigned to reflect the belief formed by those who only possess an elementary understanding of the chakra system and how it functions. Many don’t realize that in symbolic representations used as a concept for understanding universal principles numbers have a significant meaning. Modern depictions have a tendency to show the dual serpents passing through all 7 of the chakras, starting at the root, which significantly changes it’s meaning.

While the staff of Asclepius may be seen as representing medicine of a physical nature, and actually isn’t related to the chakras at all, the caduceus represents “transformation” of the Soul by subduing our lower nature and bringing it under the full command of our higher nature, and the spiritual regeneration that results from it. Mercury, as I’m sure many realize, is the archetypal symbol of the higher mind of intellect (rational thought) and will (imagination), referred to as “universal wisdom” that works through deep forms of concentration, and is the aspect of the mind used to “program” the subconscious with “visual thoughts” as seeded suggestions, which it then produces (gestates and births) as a corresponding outer reality that allows us to “experience” our thoughts, and then translate them into “memories”, which are “internal representations” of a metaphorical nature that are used by the subconscious to produce more experiences of a similar kind. My intuition on this idea was then verified and confirmed when I took up a thorough study of the principles taught in the Bhagavad Gita, the Qabalah Tree of Life, and Patanjali (Raja) Yoga (which is the only form of ancient yoga that forms a correspondence with all the other scientific systems of Universal Laws).

While many have been taught that there’s only one kundalini, which lies dormant in the root chakra, associated with the sexual organs of the body, there is in fact two kundalini energy centers within the subtle body, with the other having it’s residence in the “heart center”. As human beings we are essentially “dual in nature” while in the lower planes of physical reality, and have within us both a higher, divine nature, and a lower, instinctual nature that’s driven almost exclusively by passions and the emotions that naturally rise out of them. When we allow passions and intense emotions to run our thoughts, delusions result that we mistake for truth, because they appear to us as a coherent reality. The 7 primary spiritual centers of the body (chakras) are represented by the 7 colors of the light spectrum (3 primary and 4 complementary) which vibrate at different frequencies (wavelengths) and represent different modes of consciousness that perform different functions of the greater whole, represented as an octave (8).

The “mind” is represented on the higher planes from which it originates as Triads, which are symbolized as triangles. A Triad is formed by two complementary forces (2 lower points that form a straight line as the base) which are combined through synthesis to produce an “exalted state” as a functional third, represented by the central point that resides at an equal distance above them. When this same principle is represented as a vertical movement between higher and lower planes, it’s symbolized as three interlaced spheres, where the upper sphere is is brought into near proximity with the lower sphere through the medium of the middle sphere which acts to combine and bring them into balance through a process of equilibrium. All physical manifestation results from combining two complementary (polar) aspects to form a working third as it’s offspring. This is a fundamental principle referred to as the “Three in One Law”, also known as the Trinity, which contains all other laws in their “potential state”, each of which naturally propagate out of it as it’s offspring through a natural growth process. This process of creation born out of thoughts shaped into images in the imagination operates on every level of consciousness to form the substrata as an energetic matrix out of which all “physical reality” naturally arises as an emanation or reflection. The physical body is formed by the blueprint of the etheric-double (subtle body), which is comprised of both the instinctual and intellectual aspects of the mind, commonly referred to in psychology as the subconscious.

The Seven Main Spiritual Centers of the Subtle Body

One of the ways we can gain new insights into an existing idea is by changing the model we’re using to conceptualize it. The seven spiritual centers of the subtle body can be organized in a couple of different ways as the means of understanding the principles involved and how they work as a dynamic relationship. We can view the top 3 (crown, third-eye, and throat) as a triad, and the lower four as a Quaternary or square, which when the triad is placed on top of the square, it forms a “house,” representing the temple or dwelling place of the spirit; or we can see them as a higher triad and a lower triad (root, sexual, emotions) joined at the heart center, which serves to harmonize them. This merging of the higher and lower triads is represented symbolically by the “Merkabah” (the light body we use to ascend to higher dimensions), and by the Hexad, formed in the shape of a star (Star of David), which represent the merging and blending of the higher with the lower as the harmonious marriage of the conscious with the subconscious, represented in the Tarot by the “Lovers” (6), as the alchemical marriage of the masculine and feminine aspects to form a “whole”, orchestrated and overseen by the “Holy Guardian Angel”, which represents our Higher Self or Soul.

When we work to create by way of Law, everything in the physical world comes in a completely natural way. We don’t have to try and force anything or engage in some type of mechanical process or strategic method for commanding and directing natural forces, but instead “create the conditions” in which a desired manifestation naturally occurs. All manifestation is a result of how we use our mind and imagination, what ideas we embody and become one with in spirit, and what “mental state” we naturally cultivate as a result. Our mental state at any given moment is what works to naturally direct and regulate the energy of our body. When we try to “command” a force of Nature through a visualization process that performs an operation that’s not occurring naturally of its own volition, we work “against law”, which usually simply doesn’t work, or if it does, it produces unexpected, and often destructive results.

When we try to make something happen that’s not occurring naturally as a result of our mental state, we engage in a form of “black magic” which works by drawing up the energy of our lower instinctual nature and merging it with the higher centers of our mind as its “motivating force”. It’s not the images or what’s being visualized that’s the “creative factor” in manifesting material effects, they simply serve as the “vehicle” through which the “motivating force” works. Creation doesn’t come necessarily as the outer appearance something takes on, because the manifestation itself is simply the means through which our soul acquires a “feeling”. What we act to create in any situation is the expression of what’s “motivating our actions”, and not the actions themselves, which merely produce an equivalent effect as the reality of our motives. So before you engage in any form of process or attempt to create in a direct manner, it would be wise to stop and self-reflect on what it is that’s motivating your decision to do so. Always become clear on what your intentions are going into any situation or before engaging in a creative process of some kind. Selfish desires for personal gain never result in anything valuable or meaningful, and ultimately cause extensive set-backs in the evolution of our Higher Soul.

Our lower nature is what contains the effects of our conditioning in terms of “issues and complexes” repressed before being resolved through reasoning, our sexual energy which arouses and excites, and our emotions and passions, all of which are memories stored in the body due to the fact that they haven’t been balanced and resolved using the rational aspect of our higher mind. When this energy is combined with our higher capacities of thought, discretion, and imagination, which “is” our “will” in creating, we can become overwhelmed with the fantasies of our emotions, causing hallucinations that are commonly associated with schizophrenia and hysteria. When you hear of people “going mad” and becoming anxiety ridden due to this process, it’s true, and this is why. It causes the lower, instinctual nature of emotions to merge into our rational intellect, where they begin running our thoughts and polluting it with anxiety stricken illusions formed out of the unresolved issues of our formative conditioning.

As a spiritual psychologist I have dealt with many who have undergone this process with unfortunate success, and it transformed their consciousness in ways that ultimately destroyed their life. Others, failing to be able to actually do it, formed a fantasy around having done it, and began imaging themselves as enlightened spiritual beings who resided in a constant state of bliss as a form of low grade sexual arousal that lent their mind to fantasies of a similar nature. The unfortunate thing that many don’t realize before they began experimenting with many magical practices, is that once a “door is opened”, and the Elements are allowed in with free reign over our mind, it may be difficult, if not impossible to close it. Once we invite the elementals of our lower nature to set up house within the higher levels of our intellect, they become a natural part of our thoughts and aspirations, often leading to insatiable sexual appetites, self-grandization, lust for power and pleasure, uncontrollable fantasies that are delusional, excessive greed and selfishness, highly intensified and unruly emotions, and dark or perverted thoughts that lead us into the hellish lower rungs of society.

Our Two Selves and the Nature of the Heart Kundalini

Once we understand the Universal Principles we can realize that just as we have two-selves, which are distinctly different from each other in terms of their essential nature and how they function together in the natural sense, we can equally realize that we actually have two centers of Kundalini energy within the body, the second of which resides in the inner chamber of our heart. While many perceive the heart as being a muscle that pumps blood, it’s actually a generator for electromagnetic energy, and produces the largest electromagnetic field of any organ within the body, including the brain, which produces the second largest. The heart represents “feelings” as sensations, and “love” as the principle that connects us in spirit with what we love. The desire born out of love, serves to draw together and harmoniously merge polar opposites (two halves) to form a coherent whole. It’s the mediator between the upper and lower, and the inner and outer. When we experience a love for something, we form a desire for it, and desire is a gravitational force that brings us together with what we love. Whatever we love we naturally seek union with. Love and desire are a gravitational force that works to unite spirit and matter in a harmonious state of matrimony as a functional third, or fully conscious being.

The Life-force in the heart center is naturally aroused and drawn up through concentrative study of Spiritual Principles that invoke a magical feeling of excitement, wonder, and awe. When we form an internal representation (thought-forms) of spiritual ideas in a way that naturally elicits feelings of reverence, admiration, adoration, respect, honor, and benevolence for the miraculous nature of life and creation, we awaken the heart by “falling in love” with them. As we feel a deep love in response to our own thoughts, we draw up the heart’s energy, merging it with our thoughts as the representations molded in our imagination, filling them with life by electrifying them with a dynamic power that awakens and vitalizes the other spiritual centers located within the brain (which had been semi-dormant), bringing them into full function. As we energize our third-eye with the dynamic power love which “connects us” to those same “ideals” in the greater field of consciousness, we begin cultivating the power of spiritual clairvoyance. On the higher planes of pure consciousness all “ideas” exist in their perfect and “ideal state” (archetypes), and we only connect to the higher realms by creating correlating thought-forms as “representations” that are powered by natural feelings of reverence for our own creations. Higher Truth can only be known “through” beauty. Once we vitalize our higher spiritual centers through beautiful thoughts that naturally invoke a feeling of love and euphoria in response to them, they act to subdue and bring the lower centers of our body under the control of the higher mind.

Raising the Heart Kundalini

The true process of “raising our kundalini” is not achieved through a mechanical-visualization process, but through meditating on an idea in a single-minded fashion as concentration. When we concentrate on an idea, we penetrate the outer appearance and connect with the inner, hidden nature (soul) of the idea, and it begins unfolding and expanding in our imagination forming a sensational reality, where we’re no longer on the outside looking in, but inside as “one with it”, where we gain true “knowledge of it”. We enter into a magnetic current as a flow of correlated ideas expanded to form a whole reality, and lose all sense of ourselves as being outside and separate from it. We create a sense of our self “through it” and begin “identifying” with it. When we “experience ourself as a whole reality” (instead of just a body) we connect with and enter into our true identity as a Higher Soul. As we concentrate on and fill our mind with spiritual ideals (archetypes) formed as representations in our imagination, we feel a deep love for them, and shape our identity around and out of them as a result.

Once we begin using our intellect as our rational, discriminating, and willful mind, instead of our emotions, to operate our imagination, and we begin skillfully converting profane “ideas” into spiritual “ideals” that naturally give rise to feelings of love and devotion, we’re able to bring our lower nature (body consciousness) under the direction of our spiritual soul. We use the higher powers inherent in spiritual principles and our ability to reason and make intelligent decisions regarding how we “create ourselves” based on what we blend and merge with in mind and spirit, and faithfully employ our will in directing the instinctual passions of our lower nature. If we unknowingly contaminate our higher mind with the vulgarities of our conditioned issues and unresolved complexes and the impulses they produce that prompt unconscious and destructive behaviors, then we use the creative power of thought and imagination (will) to create the reality of our animal instincts, and we delude and degrade our Higher Soul as a result.

Summary

When we begin the process of creating by first connecting with higher spiritual ideals through concentrative studies where we build “internal representations” that invoke natural feelings of love and admiration, we work “through” law and use our mind to facilitate natural processes that come in an effortless and automatic way. We don’t contaminate our mind and imagination with lower energies that act to run our thought processes and cause us to engage unconsciously in instinctual behaviors driven by erratic emotions. Whatever it is we “blend with” in mind and construct with sensation, we become “like” in nature. The whole purpose of the soul is to use the higher powers of the mind as “thought” to direct and command the forces of Nature, instead of allowing them to direct and command us by becoming the motivational force that drives our thoughts. This Principle is also illustrated in the Tetragrammaton (4 Letter name of God) as choosing an ideal (perfected idea), that’s conceived and developed into an internal representation as a thought-form, that naturally gives rise to feelings of love (sensations) as natural response to the representation constructed, and manifests as the outer reality of our thoughts. We are always constructing and projecting the reality of our thoughts as the means of “experiencing them” as a whole (inner and outer) reality, that we then associate and identify with, and shape ourselves by way of them. It’s the higher mind that works to stimulate and call forth equivalent natural forces as a “response” to our thoughts, and not the other way around.

What’s referred to as the “New Age Movement”, which originated as an attempt to reinvent spirituality through a fundamental form of ignorance as to the true nature and function of Spiritual Laws, is designed to satisfy those who who never engage in any formal study of spiritual doctrine, and instead look for other people’s interpretations and ideas about things to adopt as their own, and mistake opinion for fact as a result. Many of the practices being professed by what seems like well-meaning people, have rendered powerful methods inept and ineffectual, and led it’s followers to engage willingly in what usually amounts to elaborate fantasies born out of an excited imagination. Our entire “reality and self” (which are the same thing on different scales and planes) is created and maintained out of our thoughts and how we form representations of ideas in the faculty of our imagination that serve to naturally call forth and give rise to correlated forces of Nature. We don’t work with our mind and reality by trying to act directly on these forces by guiding them through imaginary mechanical processes, but by using our mind and imagination in a masterful way that naturally calls them forth in creating the reality of our thoughts. This “process” naturally occurs through devoted study of spiritual principles and the contemplation of archetypal ideals as a “natural” way of thinking.

The Threefold Nature of our Mind, the Art of Self-Perfection, and the True Nature of Choice, Imagination, and Higher Will

One of the problems we have in realizing the true nature of not only ourselves, but of reality in general, is that we have a hard time not thinking in separative, dualistic terms, while trying to comprehend a reality that’s the unification of multiple dimensions into a cohesive whole. We fail to recognize the relationship that exists between higher and lower planes, between spirit and matter, and between ourselves as we exist simultaneously on various levels of consciousness. We imagine that spirit exists separate and apart from matter, that our Higher Self is a being separate and different from us, that our own subconscious and conscious mind exists and operate independently of each other, and that our outer reality is objective in nature and has nothing to do with our inner reality and how we form an experience of the outer world. We’ve been trained to a mindset that sees all of life which exists as a unified whole as being comprised instead of a bunch of separate parts that have no direct relationship to each other and as being able to function independent of everything else, when in fact it’s actually an intimate and cohesive part of everything else.

The confusion arises from the fact that we exist in a primarily “dual state” as a form of paradox while in the material realm. This dual state as the perception of separation that creates the appearance of our self and others, as if “we’re in here” and they’re “out there”, apart from us, is necessary in order to have an experience of ourselves as someone or something specific. We can only “experience ourselves” as we exist in relationship with everything else. Our very perception is formed by “seeing ourselves in everything else”. This is because we actually exist as being “universal in nature”, comprised of a unique combination of archetypal attributes and qualities that make up our “self” as memories formed out of self-created experiences of ourselves, which are the very foundation for the psychological make-up of humanity as a whole, and that of the Natural world which is also governed by a form of archetypal memory as the “instinctual field” of the “collective Unconscious”.

What we refer to as the invisible realm of spirit that underlies, permeates, and animates the material world giving it Life, is the realm of archetypal ideas and principles that serve to give rise to all material form. Archetypes exist as a form of generalized, universal idea as attributes, qualities, and personality traits that are used at the personal level to self-create by embodying them and becoming one with the idea they represent and acquiring those same traits as a result. Universal memory as archetypes are very similar to personal memory as whole realities or experiences that are complete with qualities, characteristics, personality traits, emotions, thoughts, meaning, roles and identity, and behavioral dynamics that naturally lend themselves to telling certain types of stories. They are the complete ingredients necessary not only for creating a personal inner reality, but also an analogous experience of the same type of outer reality. How we experience something is what forms the basis for creating a memory out of it as a union between the inner imagined reality, and the outer equivalent, that together allow us to experience the inward born idea outside of ourselves as an inherent part of our environment and we get a “sense of ourselves” within and as an intimate part of that idea, and it forms into a personal memory that serves to shape us. We’re always using universal memory to create our experience of reality, and create ourselves by way of those experiences.

       Because all of life is a coherent part of the same universal memory as the collective unconscious, whatever archetypal memory we resonate with we act to draw into our mind and imagination, and “become one with it in mind and spirit”, tuning ourselves to it by taking on the same qualities and personality traits, and we simultaneously connect with those same qualities and ideas in everything around us. As we change our inner constitution, our outer experience of ourselves changes accordingly. As we incorporate and integrate ideas into our mental paradigm, we form a natural relationship with that same idea in everything outside of us. Once an idea and way of being becomes a natural part of our inner being it also becomes a natural part of our outer world as our unified experience of our self. The inner and outer worlds exist as complementary opposites of each other, which means that if you change one, the other one changes automatically to match it. We’re always connecting to and forming a relationship with ourselves as our inner nature in everything around us and creating an experience through the unification of the inner and outer that becomes an inherent part of us as our soul’s memory. We’re always borrowing from the universal as a means of creating our self as an individual.

All creation comes by way of what’s called the primary “3 in 1” Law of the Trinity. Every single entity is comprised of two complementary opposites that work together to produce a third entity as a functional, unified whole. The material mind also exists as complementary aspects of the subconscious (inner self) and self-conscious (outer awareness of self), which work together to produce an offspring as a unified reality that’s a fundamental part of both. Each aspect of a whole acts to emanate and give rise to the other. While we tend to think of the self-conscious mind as being of a different nature and function as the subconscious mind, it’s actually a complementary aspect of the subconscious which is what gave birth to it. The true conscious mind, which is that aspect of us that we commonly call our Higher Self, is the unification of both the subconscious and self-conscious in an exalted state as a single entity on a higher plane, and is actually the aspect of the mind that operates as “Will” within the lower mind.

The self, like the mind and soul, is threefold in nature and exists simultaneously as three aspects on three parallel planes that function together to produce a unified whole as a cohesive reality. Within each plane, the single aspect of the self within that plane exists in a dual state of polarity as complementary opposites of itself, forming a triad. The Higher Self is what we call the human soul of the middle plane that acts as a medium between the Oversoul and the lower soul, and when manifesting in the lower plane of material existence, also separates into dual and complementary aspects of itself, and emanates the subconscious mind which acts to form and give life to the material body as it’s vehicle, contains the self-conscious aspect of the mind in its potential and latent state. After a period of gestation, this aspect of the mind is then birthed by the subconscious through a natural growth process as it’s complementary opposite. This idea is represented metaphorically as the “Madonna (Mother) and male child” as her divinely conceived offspring. The subconscious mind is the direct emanation of the Higher Soul and is formed out of the memory of all incarnations as an accumulation of integrated experiences to form a summation as our personality.

       The self-conscious mind, which is what most people think of as “the” mind, is birthed and exists solely within the material body as our outer awareness and what we think of as “brain consciousness”. The self-conscious is the masculine offspring as “self-awareness” that’s based exclusively on the body and current life conditions of the body, forms what we refer to as the “ego” as our soul’s identification with the body and the material world. Naturally, because this identity or sense of self is formed entirely within the current incarnation and based on outer awareness of the self, it’s also the mortal part of us that dies with the body. As humans, we are both immortal and eternal and mortal and temporary.

While we tend to think that the self-conscious mind has the ability to generate its own consciousness and therefore has a “will of its own” as a personal will, it actually doesn’t. All material bodies only have the consciousness it acts as a vehicle and vessel for and is able to “draw in” from the Aether and assimilate through resonance. What it does have is the ability to discriminate and evaluate ideas, and is the aspect of the mind that chooses and selects what it focuses on and thinks about, and thereby becomes one with producing a form of “seed” for the subconscious mind to produce inwardly by imagining it as a possible reality that it then uses to give birth to an outer reality of the same nature. This is the aspect of the mind that acts as the gatekeeper to the subconscious through its ability to discriminate and select what it “let’s in” to the womb of the subconscious, and what it rejects and keeps out by withdrawing attention from it.

The self-conscious is the aspect of the mind that forms conscious thoughts and internal dialogue that works together with the subconscious mind to manifest both an internal reality and external reality of the same nature and likeness. There’s always a fundamental paradox at work in everything as the feminine and masculine qualities that operate as complementary opposites, because while we consider the subconscious to be our “inner self” and internal nature, it’s also what produces and gives birth to the “outer world” as an extension, projection, and equivalent of itself as a kind of metaphorical theme. And while we say that the self-conscious mind is our awareness of the outer world, it produces the thoughts and internal dialogue we experience as our inner nature, and is what acts to witness the outer world of which it provided the seed of the subconscious mind for creating.

       Whenever someone is unaware of the multiple aspects of their mind and self (which are most people), and how these various aspects operate together to produce a unified whole as a cohesive inner and outer experience of reality, their self-conscious mind of thought tends to be run almost entirely by their subconscious mind, which operates exclusively out of memory of some form, and is habitual and repetitive in nature. When we remain in a primary state of unconsciousness, unaware of our true capacity for creating in an original manner, most of our thinking is repetitive and based on memory. When this happens our thoughts appear random, sporadic, compulsive in nature, lack meaning and a sense of coherence, and are constant. We simply replay the same type of thoughts as memory over and over like a broken record. All of our thoughts are something we’ve been taught, heard, told by others, or of past experiences that are played out by applying them to current situations producing more of the same type of experiences as variations. The capacities of the self-conscious mind as the ability to select, focus attention, and form thoughts, which together produce a seed for impregnating the subconscious imagination with brand new ideas for creating in an original and unique manner, exists for the most part in an unconscious state and uses its creative ability instead to merely focus on memories of the past and create more of the same type of experiences over and over.

The Higher mind of the human soul has the ability to truly create by choosing and drawing in universal memory of archetypes as qualities and characteristics that naturally forms an idea as a material form. It then willfully projects the archetype into the subconscious mind in the form of a memory that seeds it with a new pattern for creating on different scales within the material plane as both an inner and outer reality. The idea, once drawn in and conceived by the subconscious is reflected in the imagination as  a mental impression that the self-conscious mind witnesses in a passive manner as an inspired thought that comes to it out of nowhere. The self-conscious mind evaluates it and has the option to either choose it by continuing to think about it, or to reject it by saying no and withdrawing attention from it. When the self-conscious selects and continues thinking about the idea, fashioning it as a possible outer reality, it adapts and modifies it by defining it with details and sensory attributes into a new variation as a unique and personalized version.

This unique adapted version of a universal archetype is then concentrated on by continuing to think about, and it acts to re-seed the subconscious mind with a new version of the same idea, as a form of virtual memory that it can easily use to create both an inner and outer reality as the experience of the idea that becomes the basis of an “actual memory”, that serves to shape all three aspects of the self and soul at once. All actual creation (of brand new ideas) within the material world comes as a form of feedback loop that undergoes a transformative process of adaptation and modification between the Higher Self and the lower self, and between the higher and lower planes. This is symbolically represented by the Hexagram as interlaced triangles (a triangle represents the 3-fold nature of the mind) oriented in different directions (star of David) of higher to lower and lower to higher, as in the axiom “as above, so below, and as below, so above, in the manifestation of the One thing”.

       This creative process is also illustrated in the Tetragrammaton or Tetrad, as the four letter name of God, as will, intellect, feeling, and the manifestation of will. This process forms the symbolic basis for the four Elements of the material plane as fire (will), air (thought), water (sensation), and earth (manifestation). Naturally, there are only really two true Elements, that of fire (Higher Will that injects the archetypal idea) and water (subconscious conceives and reflects it), which together in a unified state produce air (thought as form) and its denser version of earth as it’s material manifestation or outer reflection.

Spirit as the Life-Power is always represented as air and breath, which is the unification of the feminine and masculine principles that form a functional whole. Together they work as a single entity. We inhale the outer, integrating and assimilating it into our molecular structure, then exhale infusing the outer reality with the molecules of our inner structure. There’s always a mutual exchange going on between the inner and outer, between the individual self and it’s greater self as the outer reality, which are comprised of the same substance. Will exists as the Higher, creative Soul that operates in dual aspects on the lower, more dense plane as intellect and feeling sensation that together form a unified whole as the etheric body or holographic blueprint as an inner imagined reality that produces the outer world as a material manifestation. Whatever we focus on and think about with emotional intensity forms a kind of request as a command to the Will of the Higher Self, which acts in a neutral and unbiased fashion to create it as an outer experience.

When we reside in a primarily unconscious state, we have no real awareness of our subconscious mind or our higher consciousness, and imagine the thoughts they produce and reflect in the mind as novel thought-forms to be our own willful creation. Yet because the self-conscious aspect has to choose the thoughts given to it by the Higher Mind (usually as a form of guidance or answer to an inquiry) and use its ability to develop them by continuing to think about and concentrate on them, it often doesn’t, and as a result they’re never allowed to take hold, and it reverts back instead to its redundant habitual way of thinking. Whenever the self-conscious rejects an idea and doesn’t allow it to be developed and grown in the imagination to fruition, it doesn’t act to use the idea to seed the subconscious, and it never manifests as part of its outer reality. This is often what happens when we ask for guidance from our Higher Self and when an idea comes to us intuitively in response to our request, we evaluate it momentarily to decide whether we like it or not, and if we don’t, we say “nope, this isn’t it”, usually because it didn’t show up the way we wanted it to. Then we go right back to asking for more guidance.

       Part of the problem many have is they have trouble telling the difference between ideas conceived from the Higher Mind and ideas received through the willful actions of others. The subconscious mind acts as the womb for any suggestion that’s allowed in and to take hold by the self-conscious mind. Whatever we give our attention to while in a passive state without discriminating or evaluating, and readily engage in by becoming a part of it and continuing to think about it, becomes a natural part of our thoughts and our perception of reality. This is most prevalent through various forms of entertainment and passive engagement where we surrender all resistance to the ideas we’re being fed and relinquish the need to discern them intuitively for meaning and accuracy, and as a result, they become a part of our natural thoughts and we think about them in a random and habitual manner. Usually without having any idea of what’s actually going on. Our mind is constantly accessing memory through association of various sorts. This is why songs frequently pop into our head out of nowhere and plays over and over, we imagine a scene in a movie we watched years ago, we think about the news we heard two days ago, we process the ideas of an article that we read over and over, and so on.

We all have the ability to self-create through our ability to choose or select ideas, then develop them by concentrating on them until we form them in our mind as a full, intense sensory reality that gives us an experience that develops them into an imaginary memory that impregnates the subconscious mind where it then becomes a natural part of our behaviors and outer reality, producing an experience of it as an analogy. We can likewise choose to actively develop qualities and characteristics that are latent within us as a means of self-development that evolves us to higher states of being. The ultimate goal of our higher soul is to achieve a state of self-perfection as a form of completion that actively utilizes all of our potential as the basis of being and creating. Who we become in our life is always a matter of choice and what it is we choose to give our attention to and concentrate on by thinking about repetitively. Whatever we choose to think about and create as an imaginary reality and life-like scenario, we impregnate our subconscious with as a pattern for producing as an experience through our activities.

The subconscious, once given an idea as an actual possibility for reality, begins taking action on it while connecting to that same idea in the greater subconscious mind of the material world as a primary form of telepathy or mental transmission. This is the same way instinct and intuition works.  A well-developed idea formed out of energetic essence in the imagination becomes magnetic and acts as a passive vehicle and receptor for electric energy of a complementary nature. It forms an organized pattern of primal matter (light essence) that becomes a holographic blueprint for creating that attracts and “draws in” consciousness as vibration that brings it to life through activity. All material form, whether imagined or actual, provides a kind of empty shell for consciousness to ensoul and bring to life as a vibratory frequency. Just as all frequencies have a pattern in it and a self-organizing force, all patterns as organized matter forms a frequency.  As an idea comes to life inside of us as a living form infused with strong emotions, and attracts and emanates an electromagnetic field, which are the natural forces of the mind that shapes matter as light-essence into material forms that serves as a vehicle for consciousness to express through, it acts to “vibrate” at a certain frequency that vibrates that same idea in everything else through sympathetic resonance, and reorganizes how the outer world “appears” as a composition to be analogous to the inner one. Matter only becomes organized into a fixed form when it’s being “observed” by a mind. When not being observed, it returns to a state of pure potential as a fluctuating field of information.

       All vibration has both a pattern as a living form inherent in it and a self-organizing force that shapes matter into the form of the pattern. How something functions is based on its energetic structure. Form always indicates the behavior, function and natural operations and activity the form takes on. As we think about and form an idea in our mind as a well-defined sensory reality coupled with a strong emotion that produces an inner experience of it as the “meaning” it has, we literally become “one with that idea in spirit” and we tune ourselves to its vibration. Our vibratory frequency is based on our emotional thoughts and what memories we live out of. All vibration as a pattern for producing life act to structure the same type of pattern on all scales and levels simultaneously as both an inner and outer, and an upper and lower, that function together as a unified whole or cohesive and coherent reality of the same nature. Whatever we think about and imagine with intensity we are “literally” creating as our life experiences and creating ourselves by way of those experiences.

When we begin waking up from our unconscious state and begin realizing how our own mind is operating on many different levels to create our entire material existence, we consciously move out of creating through repetitive patterns of past memories, and we can begin to intentionally determine what we focus on, give out attention to, and concentrate on instead. We can begin choosing who and how we’re going to be by intentionally embodying new qualities and characteristics as new ways of being that serve to transform us and our experiences of our self within a corresponding outer reality. We can begin realizing our full potential as a creator and begin acting on ourselves to intentionally create ourselves. We can learn how to consciously direct our attention into ideas that we want to become one as the means of self-creating. We can mentally blend only with ideas we want to become a part of our self and our experience of our self as our outer reality. We can begin using our mind the way it’s designed to be used to create ourselves as a higher, perfected, and glorified being.

Once we begin using universal ideas and archetypal memories born out of our true nature as the means of creating ourselves, we can begin vibrating at a higher level of consciousness that resonates with our Higher Self instead of our lower, unconscious, desire and impulsively driven self. When we strive towards self-perfection as the means of self-creation of our highest potential, we become aware of who and what we’re blending with energetically, and we tend to become steadily isolated from others because very few people are engaged in the same creative process in the same way or at the same level as we are. This is why the spiritual Adept and Initiate are symbolically portrayed as a Hermit. Higher consciousness is the awareness of the true self and the true nature of reality. Consciousness is the root and foundation of all physical manifestation. We are always the one creating our self and our experience of the outer world as a projection and correspondence to our inner world. All reality as we know it is formed out of our relationship with ourselves in everything else.

        From a purely psychological perspective, this is the state of being as the awareness that all volition is universal in nature, not personal. Whatever we choose to think about and become one with is brought into fruition through our Higher Will, which acts as a form of neutral force for creating whatever we ask for and have a predisposition for as an unconscious state that creates out of memory of the past. It’s the realization that the idea of “personal will” originating in the animal body as a function of the personality is an illusion. The material body, like all creatures of the animal kingdom is driven by instinct that comes as intuition and has no consciousness or creative will of its own, but merely acts as the vehicle of expression for the Will of the Higher Soul.

Because the intelligence of the Higher Will works through the intelligence of the lower mind and body, it creates the illusion of being the outcome of a personal effort and aspiration, while in reality it’s simply the final stage as the outcome of work initiated and carried out by the Life-Power Itself. The Great Truth is that the “heavenly man” (Archetypal Man) reproduces himself in the “earthly man”, symbolized by the archetypal “ideal” man of Adam Kadmon (Adam of the Bible), also called the “microcosm”. The Microcosm is a direct reflection of the Macrocosm on a smaller scale and plane because it’s comprised of and operates according to the same laws and principles. In this idea we find the truth hidden as a clue of the spiritual doctrine of the Christ as being “begotten, and not made”. Who was also described as being “in this world but not of it”. We find the meaning of Christ’s words when he said “of myself I am nothing, all power comes from my Father”. We are a reproduction of an original source and not created by our own hand. What we perceive as our physical make-up and concrete mind is but a vehicle and aspect of our higher source as our true nature.

All “original ideas” that are used to perfect the formation of our essential nature comes as a relationship with our immediate environment, what’s stimulated and brought out in us in response to it, and how we spontaneously develop as a result. The only thing that can be actively brought out in us is what’s there in latent form to begin with. We are never given something from another or from a source outside of us, nor do we ever acquire something we didn’t originally possess. The outer world only acts to stimulate, awaken and bring into an active state what exists in latent form within us that’s of the same universal nature. We perfect ourselves to a higher level of consciousness by overcoming emotionally driven instinctual tendencies and becoming aware and identified instead with our true Higher Self. Whatever we “choose” and give our attention to, we unite with in mind and become “like in nature”. By becoming aware of this natural process and choosing to focus exclusively on our Higher Nature, we perfect ourselves and transform into our Divine Nature, free of all internal conflict and indecision born out of an unconscious state.

The Art of Self-Creation and the Power of an “Ideal”

In order to “create” something in a deliberate and intentional manner, we have to start by formulating an idea of what it is we’re creating and why. As with any creative process, we have to start with an idea as an “ideal” of what we’re aspiring towards that moves us from a current condition or character, to a more desired one, that requires us to “transform” it. We have to create a firm idea of what we’re “acting on ourselves” to create. So in recognizing an undesirable trait or tendency, one that we don’t like and want to change, we have to simultaneously formulate in our mind the trait we want to replace it with. We have to form a clear idea of where, how, and who we are now, in our present state, and also where, who, and how we’ll be in our desired state. In this way, we take a common idea of ourselves and we evolve it into a higher state as a perfected and fully developed idea. Many people have been taught to take a negative attitude towards the idea of “perfection”, usually interpreting it to mean someone else’s idea for us, or some kind of standard set by others or society in an attempt to make us “feel as if we’re never enough” and keeping us always trying to become what others (people, organizations, society) want us to be in order to fit in and conform, while of course, never really “measuring up”. But perfection in its positive use is a standard we create for ourselves, and use to hold ourselves to as a means of developing ourselves in very direct ways. To become the person we aspire to be, which only comes by way of our own will and the inherent ability to be self-determined through various means of self-discipline and devotion to a higher level of consciousness, obtainable only by way of our own hand. In order to grow and develop ourselves into a higher and more mature state, we have to form an idea of what that state is, and what current beliefs, attitudes, traits, tendencies, habits, behaviors, etc., prevent it or act to contradict it and therefore prevent it. We then have to form an idea of how those traits need to be transformed by employing complementary and opposite traits in their stay. All transformation, which is really a process of equilibrating forces that are active in our life, is undertaken through an understanding of sympathy and antipathy. By realizing and deciding which characteristics we’re currently employing that prevent us from becoming who we desire to be and know, because of this innate desire, we can employ the lawful process for changing it in a conscious and deliberate way. So knowing this, we have to learn how to undergo a creative process of any kind by first employing a detailed idea of what we’re actually creating, as well as what aspects we’ll transform as a means of creating it. Then we can use each end of the equation to evaluate our progress from one idea to another.

        An ideal is where we take a basic idea and we develop it to be the best it can be in all aspects that are involved in composing it, so that it requires activation and use of our highest potential in order to achieve. It can also come as a process of removing activity from a potential currently being expressed, and bringing latent, unused potential into being by embodying it, making it active in us, then using it in our life to create experiences of a new and different nature. But either way, what we’re talking about as a form of basic growth and development is a process of transformation from what is to what will be, as an evolutionary process that we initiate and undertake by way of will, imagination, and action. Anything that’s created in an intentional manner has to first be imagined. We’re only truly capable of doing what we can first imagine ourselves doing. By imagining it first as an experience of it, by way of the reality of it, we produce the means for actually acting it out and “becoming it” as a result. So all self-creation is a form of transformation because we’re always starting with or working out of our “self” as already created, to continue the creative process of intentionally becoming. How we are created initially takes place as a natural, predominately unconscious process of formative conditioning, that’s sets the basis for what’s referred to as our “second birth” or “spiritual awakening”, where we pick up the unconscious process of self-creation, and produce it, undertake it with a sense of awareness where we deliberately shape ourselves through the conscious engagement of unconscious processes. This process of transformation from an unconscious state to one of self-awareness, where we realize how we’ve been shaped through various processes up to this point, we can work by way of the same processes while maintaining full awareness and exercising various forms of discipline to control what was previously operating as unconscious tendencies and employing conscious ones in their place. Any idea that’s not turned into an “ideal”, requiring you to aspire towards it, kills the life-force within you as your creative will, while every idea that’s made into an ideal as the highest possibility for that idea, requires conscious use of your life-force and willpower in order to create it. In order to grow and develop ourselves in new ways, we have to awaken and make active what was up to this point latent within us as unused potential. If we choose not to, and simply keep living out of our “conditioned self”, created in a haphazard way by others through a form of default due to our upbringing, then these forces as latent potential remain dormant and eventually become inaccessible because our identity becomes so habituated and fixed, that we can’t imagine ourselves being any other way, or we become so identified with our stories as a way of being, that we can’t (don’t want to) let go of them, because we won’t “know who we are” without them. At this point in our life, usually mid-life, change at the most fundamental level becomes an identity crisis that can throw us into a tail-spin that we never fully recover from.

       To develop ourselves through our spiritual consciousness, is to return our “fixed mindset” to a fluid creative state where we’re always in the process of becoming by systematically employing new perspectives and new behaviors that cultivate new aspects within us, making us fluent, lean, and flexible, and able to readily adapt to new situations by employing the behaviors most appropriate for creating in that situation as a primary means of personal growth that increases our capacity for expression and maximizes our full potential. So when becoming conscious and self-aware of your own life, and commanding your creative abilities to self-create, you must start by creating an ideal of yourself as perfected or as your “highest possibility” for utilizing your full potential. This ideal becomes a vision for your life as an image of yourself in terms of how you sense yourself and the identity you form by way of it. To create standards as a form of “moral code” that you hold yourself to without compromising, is the key to higher, intentional development that prevents you from cowering or changing your mind mid-stream when maintaining the new standard is inconvenient or hard to do. Once this ideal of yourself is firmly formed in your mind it provides a template for designing a strategy for implementing and creating it. This strategy needs to be broken down into a step-by-step process of logical progression that’s implemented gradually and consistently in stages and by working with single aspects at a time that make up the whole, and setting a time-frame for accomplishing one before moving onto another. The accomplishment of one transformed trait lays the foundation necessary for the next as a synchronistic flow as growth that lays the foundation of an accumulative, building process.

       Change that takes place gradually, is readily integrated and synthesized into your mental paradigm, and can be attained without an arduous struggle or heavy sense of suffering, which always accompanies change of our fundamental habits or ways of being. Because of a new awareness of what we previously engaged in without awareness acts to amplify or increase the feelings involved, or the forces at work that served to motivate and maintain the behavior, giving us a heightened sense around them, that also gives us a stronger sense of struggling to exercise direct control over them by abstaining or refraining, while simultaneously replacing them with new behaviors that take a while to grow accustomed to and fail to satisfy the reasons we had for producing and maintaining the old behavior now being transformed.  A new behavior has to be implemented willfully for a period of time, roughly forty days or six weeks, before it becomes natural, build into the muscle, and we begin doing it in an automatic fashion. Once it (the new behavior) becomes natural and easy to maintain, we’re ready to implement another step. We should not do more than one at a time, because concentrated thought is the key to manifesting physical realities as the expression of an idea, and we want to avoid creating a feeling of suffering, or missing and longing for what we’re giving up. One of the most notorious ways we sabotage ourselves right from the beginning, is by attempting to much change all at once, which makes it overwhelming and creates a feeling of constant struggle and suffering that makes the change seem ungratifying or somehow worse than the previous state. Change undertaken gradually allows for constant modifications to our paradigm, which then acts to naturally produce and maintain the change as a part of our normal consciousness. Trying to change too much to fast doesn’t establish the paradigm necessary to naturally produce and maintain as a natural and automatic function the new way of being. Once a paradigm shift takes place through the integration of the small change, it’s modified to be able to support continued change as a growth process that actually becomes the same as the change. The change also describes, expresses and defines the paradigm as being of the same nature and thereby producing the same experience as a reality, actualization, and outer perception of the change.

       This transformative process operates according to law and is the case whether we’re talking about a person, relationship, situation, or business. Change that’s gradual is easily incorporated and goes unnoticed. It’s readily adapted and adjusted to as a form of equalization that reinstates harmony within the system, setting the foundation necessary for the next step of a larger process to be implemented, again, allowing for it to be incorporated and act to make a slight modification as a synchronized movement that acts naturally to adjust the whole system to support it. If change is introduced without allowing time for adjustment and modification as a new function requiring the whole system, then as soon as it hits a point where it’s not supported, the system “acts on it” (the change) to transform it according to the system, back into its original behavior. All natural processes are produced by our paradigm and our capacity to create in a way that’s consistent and thoroughly maintained, which only comes by way of our paradigm. All “permanent change” requires modification and reformation of our mental paradigm. Without it, at some point, we relapse and fall back into the old behavior and way of doing things. All change should be designed by us, because it’s only us that have the true ability to act on ourselves to create ourselves. All change needs to work in harmony with natural tendencies already inherent in us or our system, in a harmonious manner of cooperation, by simply employing those same tendencies in a new manner and by way of new means. Change that goes against our nature and contradicts our values and beliefs, can’t actually be produced by us in a natural fashion, nor maintained for any extended period of time. So the “ideal” created as a “model” for self-creating, should always comply and be harmonious with our values and beliefs, or we should start by addressing our values and beliefs by examining them thoroughly, identifying where the contradiction takes place, then adjust all aspects until they are congruent with one another, and interact in a harmonious fashion to produce the same experience of reality.

        We also have to notice what emotions play out in any situation and act to control not only our thought process, but also our automatic behaviors. If we have strong emotions that contradict and undermine what we’re attempting to implement, then the emotions tend to win out by sabotaging all conscious efforts. We have to instead identify our own emotional reactions to certain ideas, gaining awareness around them, and then forming new associations to our desired change, removing triggers around them that activate negative emotions in response to them, while intentionally associating positive emotions to our desired change. Making the idea compelling by infusing it with positive emotions and associations is crucial for producing change out of a strong desire for it while associating very positive and gratifying ideas or experiences with it. This also acts to create how we experience the change, which is the same feeling we infuse the reality of the change with, which its accomplishment or attainment will simply act to give us more of that same feeling. The change desired should always be undertaken with a sense of enthusiasm and form of excitement that forms a kind of joy and contentment around it. In this way, once the change is established as our reality, it gives us more of that same feeling. If we pursue something from an experience of stress, worry, or feeling overwhelmed, attaining it simply keeps the feeling going through the attempt to maintain it. We have to not only serve to “create it”, but also act naturally and without thought or effort to “maintain it”. The feeling we form around an idea, shapes how we experience that idea as a personal reality. So it’s important to gain awareness around the reason for the change. What the change will give us, allow, how we’ll benefit from it, and what will it allow us to do that we currently can’t, and so on. So if we decide, for example, to transform fear of some kind into courage, we have to identify how we’ll benefit from that and what it will produce in our life as a result. We have to cultivate the idea of courage in a way that makes us fall in love with ourselves for being that way. We have to focus all of our attention away from what made us feel afraid and onto how we’ll benefit by creating the experience of courage and what it’ll bring into our life as a result. We have to actively and intentionally choose courage in place of fear, and act it out in order to change our experience of ourselves and reality as a result. Understanding the Musical Nature of the Mind as a Vibratory Frequency

The Mind as a Frequency Creates a Consistent Experience of Reality

When we use the term “musical” in this context, we’re not referring to music in the ordinary sense, but rather of the laws that govern music, which are the primary laws of vibration. Everything in the universe is energy vibrating at different frequencies. These frequencies are all interwoven and form a greater frequency as a form of symphonic orchestration or ecological system called “life”. All frequencies as a dimension, exist as an octave or range of the same “type” of vibration from a lower to a higher that comes as a growth or building process. Once a vibration reaches the highest point in an octave, it shifts to the next higher octave where the beginning note or vibration as an accumulation or summation, forms the base or foundation as the lowest point in the next octave, which begins a new growth process within that higher range or dimension. A simple dimension is comprised of a scale that’s made up of three octaves (stages), as interwoven and interdependent scales or levels of the same overall dimension as a harmonious creation or coherent reality. This 3 in 1 law, is inherent in every aspect of what we call material life.

In a scale or range of vibration, which is comprised of 7 notes, aspects, or stages, the highest note is the unification or summation of all the preceding notes of which it’s comprised of as an accumulative process. The higher we go in vibration, the more unified and holistic we become. The highest vibration in a scale contains all the vibrations or tones within that scale. So as we move from lower to higher, we move from singular to unified, from a “personal self” to a more “universal self”. Likewise, in these three levels of the same overall reality, also referred to as the body, mind, and spirit, the body is the lowest (singular) vibration, that forms a personal identity as an individual (body identification), the mind is a more expanded reality that includes all of our local or contained material reality, and the spirit includes not only all of humanity as a cohesive reality, but all of life as an accumulated or greater whole comprised of numerous individuals. So the higher our minds vibration, the more universal we become in our identity, and the more we move away from personal and selfish perceptions, agenda’s, and tendencies.

Energy as vibration, is a form of consciousness that has a self-organizing mechanism inherent in it that forms a distinct pattern as a series of smaller interwoven patterns that are all harmonious in nature and of the same frequency. This energetic pattern as a certain vibration or quality of consciousness, forms our individual mind as a paradigm or mental “model of the world”. Out of our paradigm as a pattern comes a reality that’s of the same pattern with the same self-organizing ability that reorders the elements of our outer environment to match the pattern of our inner environment as our mind or invisible aspect. Therefore our mind, as the invisible pattern of our vibratory frequency, forms our perceptual lens (we look “though” it), which forms the reality we see and experience as a personal creation or expression (projection) of our paradigm.

All of life as external, outer elements, exist in a purely “potential state” of all the frequencies of the material world, as consciousness itself is universal, and all inclusive as infinite. Our mind, always vibrating at a specific frequency or range of vibration, reforms the outer reality of pure consciousness and infinite possibilities, by resonating with it. Through resonance, we activate or bring to the foreground (conceive of), what matches our vibration, while deactivating or returning to an inactive, passive state, what doesn’t match our vibration. In this way, we reformulate the outer elements by organizing them into the configuration of our mind’s pattern, enhancing and embellishing the selected features, and then interpret the active features to fit into our story about them, as our mental pattern or “theme” for creating reality. It’s not that we actually “create what we see” as an actual manifestation, but rather through a form of natural or unconscious choice as an activating mechanism. Whatever we activate with our attention, we give life to.

Just placing our attention on something, transforms it as a compliance to our frequency as a pattern, that forms a thematic reality, by turning on some aspects, while turning off others, determining what expresses and what doesn’t, following the same laws as DNA. How something appears outwardly is based on how it’s arranged inwardly by the mind of the individual. Whatever we place out attention on and think about, we transform to be “like” us, or of the same reality as a frequency. We infect (sympathetic induction) and effect (vibrate) everything just by thinking about it. All matter is impregnated and animated by the consciousness of the individual being directed and projected at it. Our consciousness enters into (resonates) the matter of the material world around us, and gives it the life it has as being of the same level and quality of consciousness. What’s being observed, and the mind doing the observing, are apart of the same event. The mind has the ability to reshape the material world to match its frequency by simply perceiving it through it’s model, and then shaping it further by continuing to think about it.

Our frequency as our personal consciousness, creates as an expression on three levels simultaneously, as we self-express through the very nature of our perception, we shape ourselves (create our self-image as our identity), other people (to be of the same nature as we are), and the “way the world is”, through the same pattern as a cohesive reality. We create our reality as a story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves about things, while simultaneously sensing ourselves through our own experiences, and becoming identified with them. In this way we’re always in the process of creating ourselves through an unconscious (automatic) level of self-expression, as resonating with the same vibratory pattern in everything else. Resonance takes place naturally and so we don’t realize what’s happening or why. We don’t fully realize how it is that we’re acting to create our own reality through purely energetic (spiritual) means as our conception of it. When we hear the comment that we all “manifest” our reality, we think it means we literally produce matter itself, rather than realizing we merely reformulate it by resonating with it, which changes how it appears.

Matter itself is void of its own consciousness, and acts as the receptor for consciousness, which enters into it (sympathetic induction) and alters it. Matter is the magnetic (feminine) aspect of consciousness, and attention as directed consciousness the electric or active (masculine) aspect. Attention directs an active quality of consciousness into matter, which acts as the receptor or vehicle for the active force, which gives matter it’s qualities and characteristics, which animate it. The active force reshapes it into the pattern of the frequency and changes how it appears in the mind perceiving it. In this way we never actually change matter itself in the permanent sense, but rather how it appears to us. The outer appearance of things is a direct reflection of the consciousness inhabiting it and holding it together as a cohesive and congruent reality, which is literally produced by the mind itself. Matter exists much like consciousness, in a neutral and universal state, and shape shifts according to the consciousness that impregnates it and the mind that perceives it.

In order to change reality or how things appear to us, we have to change our mind as our mental paradigm or vibratory frequency, which is what’s giving it the appearance it takes on. By changing our mind, we change reality itself, and see the same thing in a new way. The outer world remains the same, but we see something entirely different in it. Our activities don’t change, but the consciousness we employ while doing them changes, and thereby, we experience the same activities in a new and different way. To change the outer, we have to change the inner that’s shaping it. The same mind perceives the same reality continuously and consistently.
