Creativity – The Relationship between Choice, Will, and Creating Reality

 

It doesn’t take long to realize that in life all things exist in relationship to each other. There’s really no such thing as an independent or solitary act. Everything comes as a result of something else, or as a synchronized series of events that play out over a period of time. While we can say that “no choice” is a choice, or that unconscious decisions that are seemingly made without awareness or in a deliberate manner, that are based primarily on feelings, emotions, or impulses of some sort, are still using your will because you’re willingly acting them out, this is passive use of the will that likewise creates in our life in an unconscious manner. Choice and will, like all faculties of the mind and soul, exist in both active and passive form based on awareness and deliberate action, or without direct awareness and in an automatic fashion.

Anytime we’re aware of choice, and we negotiate it in an intentional manner, it usually comes as a decision between a conditioned response and a conflict of some sort as a conscience or inner awareness that makes us hesitate and resist it, and so we look for other options. Whenever we make an “actual” and true decision in a fully aware and intentional manner, we naturally leave all other options we were previously debating behind and move forward to create the choice we’ve made as our reality. We remove our attention from all other ideas, become single-minded, focusing exclusively on the reality of our choice, and we direct all of our attention and actions into creating it. Once our mind is made up and all conflict dissolves, our only movement becomes directed by the imagined reality of our decision, and we act systematically to create it. This is why “choice and free will” are always presented together, because they’re different aspects of the same creative process.

If we experience the inability to do something that we believe we’ve chosen to do, it’s due to the fact that we haven’t truly made the decision for it, but are still bartering, debating, and negotiating it. It can be showing us that we still harbor inner conflict around it, still have attachments of some kind to what we’re deciding against, or we have conflicting beliefs and values of some sort that are holding us to indecision. Often our emotions and feelings are contradicting it or wanting something different than our rational, reasoning mind, and so our mind is divided. Anytime there’s a division between the subconscious and conscious mind, with one aspect of the mind acting to contradict or counteract the other one, we sit in limbo not knowing what to do, always going back and forth, sabotaging our own efforts, never actually able to settle on one or the other, until someone or something makes the decision for us and we no longer have a choice in the matter.

 

While there’s a tendency for society to tell you to pick “one over the other”, to follow your heart and not your mind (as if they’re different things), the fact is, it’s always about a balance between the two. An alignment that forms a single mind as a single goal, free of all conflict, that works dynamically in-sync with each other to create the reality of that choice. Anytime we pose one aspect against another, we’re doomed to failure or a seeming success that merely forms the foundation for inner turmoil and conflict to play out as a constant realization of betraying ourselves in some way. Thought and emotion, intellect and feeling, heart and head, are always unified, one producing and sustaining the other. There’s no such thing as a division in the true sense of the word. The masculine and feminine aspects are only capable of creating when forming union that produces an offspring that’s a combination of the two. They always act in unison as “one idea” that produces the material reality as a correspondence of that idea.

The Power of Emotions

Making a “true decision” where all aspects are aligned and agree, can often be quite difficult, and may actually come over a period of time while different aspects that negate the desired outcome in some way are played out and explored in greater depth, so that the necessary realizations can be obtained, which serves to confirm what you need to decide. Our subconscious, which is the seat of all of our conditioning as our mental paradigm, habitual tendencies, regular emotional states, and dynamics that are magnetic and compulsive in nature, seeks only to maintain the status quo as a form of self-preservation by continuing to play out the thematic dynamics that we’ve built our identity around, and need to keep playing out somehow in order to maintain our “sense of self”.

We keep casting ourselves in the roles we know how to play, and telling the story we know how to tell and do so in a natural, automatic, and compulsive fashion. We’re magnetically drawn to it even when intellectually and through reasoning we know we don’t want to be or shouldn’t. It works through our emotions, which are often gripping and intense, holding us captive to passions and intense emotional experiences that saturate our body with the chemistry and hormones of the emotions, satisfying a form of addiction. Emotions, being the motivating force of the subconscious mind and body, which is habitual and automatic in nature, are habit forming and we literally become addicted to them, even when we hate ourselves for doing it. Emotions, which are the driving force of instinct, are designed to produce automatic behavior that don’t require will, thought and decision, or self-awareness of any kind. We become addicted to pain just as easily as we do pleasure, because they’re both a drug produced internally that we become dependent on and use not only to create and maintain our state of mind, but also to create our reality out of, which is how we act in an indirect manner on ourselves to create ourselves.

Anytime emotions and passions go against reasoning and rational thought, they nearly always win, because they’re experience as a strong internal sensation that’s very compelling with a form of urgency, whereas clear thought is more neutral and something we seem to experience in more of a dissociated perspective of witnessing as being outside of or above the situation looking at it from the perspective of a “whole” rather than in it as a “part of it”. Once emotions take hold and grip us in some way, usually through memory of some kind that’s used to create in the present, it tends to cloud and control our thinking through a form of seductive persuasion, making it difficult to resist.

When this happens, decisions usually come as a gradual process, where once the desire to change becomes persistent, and we continue playing out the emotional dramas preventing us from implementing them, we begin having realizations about them that start dissolving the illusion we’ve built around them, loosening their grip, and they begin disintegrating and falling away. Once we have a notion as the desire to change in some manner, breaking an established pattern, it tends to steadily grow until it reaches fruition as an actual decision that we begin acting on to make it an actual reality, leaving the old behind and starting something new.

The Power of Belief

In a like manner, we can appear to have made a decision, and started it in motion, while maintaining a belief of some kind that prevents it, causes a feeling of conflict somehow, or results in what seems like the inability to take action, or not knowing what to do. Beliefs can be quite difficult to identify because they form the very basis of our experience of reality, and we often mistake them as being “fact or true”. Belief and the reality formed from it is the most basic and prevalent demonstration of the “power of the mind to create reality”. We create the experience of our beliefs perfectly without realizing that it’s our own creation, and is not real or true at all in the objective sense. Because many of them come from actual experience in terms of how we “interpreted” the events of our life by telling ourselves a story about them, we don’t realize that we actually made them up using our imagination (will). Likewise, we’re also taught certain ideas that we accepted as being factual or true, and use as the foundation for building entire networks that are all based on the same belief system, and accepting the ideas of others that were given to us and willingly adopted by us as our own thoughts. Usually the only way to upsurge a belief and bring it back into a fluid and negotiable state, is by introducing contradictory evidence that proves it wrong, one-sided, or reveals it as a skewed version. While many choose instead to argue against, deny, or ignore altogether anything that serves to shine light on the validity of long held beliefs, this too is a decision that we willingly act out and employ as the means of creating the reality it implies.

When we always act to defend our beliefs instead of being willing to consider other possibilities, we condemn ourselves to the confinement of the reality of those beliefs. When we feel we’ve made a clear and conscious decision to change our life in some way, no longer running on memory and autopilot, and are confronted with what seems like the inability to act in order to create it, or the “path to take” in moving in the new direction, it’s usually due to a conflicting and limiting belief of some sort. We know when both aspects of our mind are in alignment with each other when we make a decision that lacks any kind of inner conflict, and we feel a sense of passion and urgency in acting to create it. We don’t have to figure anything out, we’re not stumped or confused, lacking motivation of the drive to do it, but instead, from that point on direct all of our attention and energy into actively moving forward on it and systematically producing it.

Knowing What to Do

The idea of being aware of the need or ability to make a decision puts us in the position of actually creating in a conscious and intentional manner. We create our decisions by focusing and concentrating our full attention on them, and consistently acting on them in whatever way is immediately apparent. We move forward with the attitude of being and doing. It’s very natural for us to not necessarily “know what to do” or how to be when we’re stepping into something new, because we don’t have memory or previous experience to go on. All new actions and creations come to us, not as a whole idea or plan laid out in detail for us to follow, but as a desire for what we’ve chosen, and a notion about how to start. If we simply act on what we know to do while remaining focused on our intention and desired outcome, it starts a process in motion that comes as an intuitive and synchronistic unfolding where one idea leads to another, and investigating or penetrating one aspect reveals the next aspect as the “next step”. We’re often required to have faith in the fact that if we simply act on what we do know and therefore step into it and start the process in motion, that the next step will become apparent.

Stepping into the Unknown

All well laid out “action plans”, so to speak, come as the result of rehashing and reformulating past memories to form what appears to be a new idea, yet in reality, is merely a new version of an old idea. When we form a truly new idea as a reality for creating, it usually comes through a part of us that’s always been there, urging us on to “become” who we truly are as our dream for our life that we negotiated away in an attempt to conform to the ideas of society imposed on us and the need to fit in, and we step into the flow of life by embracing an inspiration that comes to us seemingly from out of nowhere (though its often been there forever), that takes hold within us, becoming relentless and persistent. Once we receive it as an intimate connection that appeals to our true self, urging us on and encouraging us, it can almost become an obsession. An idea for our life that we can’t seem to let go of because it speaks to us with a vivid honesty as a form of promise that restores hope and the fulfillment of our true purpose and mission in life.

All truly inspired ideas come to us by resonating with our deepest parts, the ones that we remain unfamiliar with while having a deep longing for, crying out to be free, shrouded and suffocated by illusions that we blindly accept as our fate, surrendering our true destiny and condemning our soul to a wasted and meaningless life. These form the big, life-altering decisions. The ones that are truly difficult to make, because in doing so, our identity and who we’ve been up to that point becomes compromised, and is no longer validated and sustained. To follow it, make the decision to surrender to our higher calling, means our entire previous life situation and roles will change, sometimes drastically, and we’ll be left scrambling, faced with the unknown, new conditions and circumstances, a new way of being that requires trust and a belief in ourselves and our inherent ability to know what to do when faced with brand new options that only guarantee uncertainty.

When we make a decision to be and do something different in our life, especially when we’re older and have an established lifestyle and habitual patterns that we’ve built our identity around, where we have no past memory to go off of, we realize that the path unfolds through the series of decisions we’re making moment by moment as we go. In this total newness comes true creativity. Every decision, no matter how minute, becomes about “who am I?” What do I want to create? Who am I going to be, here, now, in this moment? What am I going to do, how am I going to act, and what consequences will result? We start getting a true feeling for how we actually create our lives through our everyday choices and actions, often for the first time as an adult.

Once we’re cast into a life that we just sort of ended up in through an unconscious and natural process of growing up, where decisions seem to be made for us by our situation and responsibilities, and we fall into the habit of making decisions in an unconscious manner where they’re made for us or we simply accept them, and even when we maintain an awareness of what we want to do instead, we choose to give it up in favor of what we feel we need and should do. After a while we find ourselves living life in an automatic and habitual fashion where the only decisions we have to make is what to eat for dinner, or what to watch on TV, and even those decisions can be made for us by others. We can slowly fall into the reality of never having to make decisions and actually creating something new, and instead just act to maintain the habitual pattern already established and go with the flow by coasting through our life.

To make true decisions that bring about change and create in a conscious way requires a form of courage and willingness to create something new and unfamiliar. It can mean giving up security and established success, or a glorified self-image, and wiping the slate clean, starting all over with a brand new idea for yourself and your life. When we make one decision and actually act to create the reality of that decision, it naturally leads to the need to consistently make more decisions, because you’re the creator and they’re not being made for you by someone else. When this happens a new sense of freedom comes about, and you start getting a real sense of who you actually are. Anytime and unconscious process becomes conscious, we gain tremendous insights into unfamiliar aspects of ourselves that remained hidden, subdued, or just barely out of sight. Naturally with this awareness and freedom comes the true responsibility for what we create and who we become through our own volition. We can no longer dodge responsibility or blame our shortcomings on others. This realization alone can be as terrifying as it is empowering.

Many people go through their entire life with decisions that are being made for them by others, or simply complying with the general consensus and trained mindset of society. Many “fall into a situation” in what seems like a haphazard method of chance, because they were creating from an unaware state with no realization of the consequences or end results of the actions. Many start off not knowing for sure what they want to do, then as they go along just end up in situations that seem to dictate the course of their life for them, and they feel trapped, or something about it becomes more important than their freedom to decide, and so they choose it instead, going with it till the situation ends or drastically changes somehow, then, they’re right back where they started. Drifting aimlessly into an abyss with no sense of purpose or vision for their life, scared and filled with an unbearable sense of dread and insecurity. Having lived so long without the ability to create through active use of choice and will, they feel lost and confused, and as if they have no ability to move their life in a new direction. Usually, without even knowing what direction they want their life to move in. When this happens, they usually simply find a new situation that they can wrap themselves around, and continue on their way, choosing to remain unconscious in the most basic sense of the word.

Creativity

All true creativity comes through a balanced and aligned mind, where feelings, emotions, and desire are the motivating force and formative factor of thought as an imagined idea. To decide on something is to choose an idea that you then act to willfully create. You direct all of your attention (undivided mind) and activities into the fulfillment of your decision. Choice gives us a vision as a firm idea that we’re then required to create. In this same way, an artist decides what feeling they want to capture and express by becoming one with it. They envision that idea as a sensory reality in a way that invokes a love for it, and then they go about doing what’s necessary to create it. They engage in whatever course of action is necessary to produce it. Naturally this requires great skill that only comes through constant practice and a sense of diligence.

So if you’re struggling with creating what you want, or making the necessary decisions in your life to better it somehow, and you’re always going back and forth, or never actually being able to bring yourself to do what seems like a “big move”, just allow yourself to reflect on and become aware of all that comes up in relation to it as a conflicting feeling or idea. Then, go into each conflicting idea in depth in order to gain whatever realization about it that you need in order to make a true decision as to whether or not to continue with it, tweak and reformulate it, or leave it behind and quit thinking about it altogether. As you gain insight into what it is that’s preventing you from making a decision, you’ll know what other decisions you need to make first. Because decisions for change require sacrifice of some kind, they can produce a lot of inner turmoil that will need resolving in order to reside peacefully in that decision.

We know when we’ve actually made a decision because we’re no longer debating it while considering other options, and we simply go about creating it. We hold an idea firmly in our mind with no inner conflict or anxiety around what we have to give up in achieving it, and we feel a sense of purpose and inspiration in regards to it. A feeling of devotion and dedication to it fills us, and we feel peaceful and content in the reality of it. All distractions fade away and focus all activity towards producing it. We move forward with a clear conscience and a feeling of certainty, and no longer look back or miss what we left behind. We’re filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation, alive with the true power to create the life we desire in an intentional and deliberate manner. We gain a new sense of ourselves that becomes a self-perpetuating force, and we fall in love with life as our own creation and ourselves as our own creator.

Self-Purification and Cultivating Our Higher Nature

As we go through life, we’re always “becoming” through a process of amalgamation, where we enter into relationship with everyone and everything around us, blending with them energetically, taking on their compatible attributes and transforming our nature by using them to express and create experiences that we then relate to and identify with. As we blend with others energetically, we take on the same qualities they have as a way of being that ultimately serves to shape our character based on how we express them. All relationships are energetic interactions of the mind and soul where we absorb and integrate whatever is of a similar nature to us, while ignoring and deflecting what’s not of the same nature. As we blend with “like” (polarized) qualities in another, we become “like them” and they become like us. We absorb complementary qualities through resonance and sympathetic induction where we take on their vibration and it acts to modify ours in a corresponding manner. The more we actively express certain qualities, the more natural they become to us, and they serve to gradually modify our vibration as we begin vibrating in harmony with them. Whatever we’re routinely exposed to, live in near proximity of, and readily take in without discrimination, we absorb into our subconscious mind where we build it into a well-defined reality in our imagination by continuing to think about it, and begin using it as the means for experiencing ourselves.

Whatever we willingly allow, participate in, and cooperate with, we become like. We utilize our will through our ability to choose by relating or contrasting, gaining an awareness of how we feel in relation to others or situations, where we either agree and step into it willingly, or we resist, decline, and move away from it.  When we develop an awareness of consciousness as qualities that form characteristics as “ways of being”, we can become aware of how we’re always choosing our methods of self-development through the relationships we maintain and who we associate with on a regular basis. Through self-awareness we can learn how to manage ourselves using our will and the ability to choose. By making decisions that we implement in a willful manner, we determine what we allow in and what we don’t. We can consciously choose what we willingly absorb and become like in nature, and what we resist and therefore prevent from entering into us, and becoming a part of us.

Whenever we enter into a relationship with someone or something (person, situation, activity, set of circumstances) we should maintain a subtle awareness of how we’re either contrasting or relating, and how we’re feeling as a result of the interaction. We should always be asking ourselves “what is the consciousness I’m experiencing, and in what way is it influencing me”? If I take on the same consciousness and allow it to express through me, who and how will I become? As I form a sense of myself “being this way” (embodying that way of being) how does it feel? As I sense myself this way, how do I feel about myself?

We all have what we call “shadow aspects” that are qualities that we inherently possess that we deny having, have repressed in some manner because we were made to feel bad about them or couldn’t find appropriate expression for them, or that we built an illusion around by telling ourselves a story about it that makes it seem different from what it actually is. Like all unconscious tendencies, we’re always projecting them outward and using them to shape our outer environment as our mind’s way of allowing us to “see what they are”, and we not only notice and react to them in others, but we gravitate towards them and naturally enter into in relationship with them. Just as we attract to people and situations that we enjoy and find gratifying, we’re also attract to and towards the type of people and things we despise, are irritated by, and find repulsive for some reason. A “reaction” of any kind to something outside of us, good or bad, is happening because we have that same quality within us as a hidden aspect that we remain primarily unaware of and deny the fact that we have the same quality. All qualities are polar or dual in nature (electromagnetic), and serve as complementary aspects needed to create a joint experience of the shared quality as an interaction. We’re always attracted to those who play the opposite role in the same dynamic.

We create out of the dynamics of our conditioning to either be the same or be the opposite. Either way, the relationship as contrasting and relating to the same pattern as a dynamic theme, forms the outward expression of chosen aspects and the inward, hidden life of the ones that are not consciously chosen, but repressed and held inside instead. The ones we rebel and retaliate against as a way of shaping ourselves, becomes disowned aspects that we deny having, even though we have shaped ourselves in relationship with them, and we continue to attract and end up in relationship with our shadow aspects as a way of maintaining our “sense of self” by continuing to contrast and retaliate against them. Whatever dynamic we’ve shaped ourselves out of as a relationship and way of interacting, we maintain, because without it, we don’t know who we are or how to “be”. We need to be in relationship with the same type of people in order to play out the dynamic we’ve built our identity around.

This type of energetic, subconscious interaction is going on at the unconscious level all the time where we’re doing it naturally and automatically without actual awareness of what we’re doing and why. When we become aware of and realize the reality of it, we then have a choice as to whether or not we need to keep acting it out by allowing or resisting it, while intentionally choosing how we’re going to be instead. As long as we are still getting our “identity from others”, and we feel the need for others to show us who we are, we maintain relationships that are of the same nature that we were conditioned with.

Once we become aware of our own unconscious tendencies, and begin sensing our energetic nature as consciousness itself, we can get a sense of who we really are in terms of our true nature, and begin drawing on our inner power as a means of creating ourselves in our everyday life. We move from an “other” orientation to a “self” orientation. As we sense ourselves in every situation we begin realizing that we always have a choice as to whether or not we’re going to remain unconscious and unaware in our life, and be determined by others, or if we’re going to choose instead to remain awake, aware and able in every moment to choose who and how we’re going to be. At first, this may require a willful effort, but once our center of gravity changes, our whole mind-set changes, and we simply lose interest in things that use to grip us. We no longer react or feel chemistry of some kind with the same type of people and situations. And we simply lose interest and leave those relationships.

When we become awake and conscious, we realize we’re always filtering ideas through our true nature, and deciding which ones we blend with, allow into our mind, and allow to take hold by thinking about them and forming them into internal realities, which become the templates and pathways for our outer expression. As we express these same qualities outwardly by becoming a channel for them, we sense ourselves “as them”, experience ourselves in that way, becoming associated with it by forming a memory of it, and it becomes a permanent part of us. We build our identity out of the accumulated experiences we have based on the qualities that make up our character that we consistently use to self-express and self-create.

Whatever we subject ourselves to, enter into and maintain relationships with, or associate with on a regular basis, we allow to influence us by absorbing and integrating their consciousness which acts to transform and evolve us to be of the same nature. We become like whatever we’re around and interact with. Transformation in the most basic sense is evolution by absorbing (resonating), assimilating (harmonizing) and becoming like our outer environment. We’re always forming equilibrium with our environment as a harmonious balance between the inner self and the outer world. We’re not fixed static beings, we’re constantly in the process of exchanging, absorbing, integrating, and discharging energy with everything around us, as a natural bio-evolutionary process.

To purify ourselves is to not only use dietary means as both nutritive substance and morality, but also to purify our intentions, emotions, and psychological states as well. It’s becoming aware of how we’re being infected, contaminated, and corrupted with the consciousness of everything we willingly engage in and choose to do, what we end up around, or what we intentionally place ourselves in. Once we become constantly aware of how we’re being influenced in any given situation, and we learn how to “sense it” as a “way of being and thinking”, we can begin using our creative power of choice and will in an intentional manner. We can begin censoring what we allow to take hold in us, and what we don’t, who and what we associate with, and who and what we don’t. Through the awareness of the energetic nature of things as qualities of consciousness that we’re always interacting with and absorbing into our mind and taking on, we can consciously choose and willfully become self-determined and truly responsible for who we are. We can learn how to intentionally regulate and direct our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We can decide what to willingly participate in and cooperate in co-creating, and learn how to pick and choose who and what we associate with and what activities we engage in.

Entertainment – The Passive and Receptive Mind

Our mind operates according to different modes of passive and receptive, and active and projective, as the natural activity of the subconscious and self-conscious mind. The self-conscious, “aware” aspect has the ability to censor, judge, evaluate and filter all outward incoming information, and decide what to let in or resist and keep out. Whenever we’re actively being challenged, we’re in an active and projective mind where we evaluate and interpret everything and exercise our ability to resist it. Whenever we switch over to a mode of being entertained, where we’re not being challenged in any way and don’t need to defend, we enter into a passive and receptive mode, where we allow ideas and sensory realities to come into our mind, take hold and form a whole inner sensory reality that ultimately becomes a form of memory. Long after we’ve seen a movie that elicited a strong emotional impact, we continue to think about it periodically for years, maybe even throughout our lifetime. Similar ideas in our everyday environment cause a chain-of-association and we recall parts of the movie just like a memory. It literally becomes a “part of us” as part of our thinking and remembering. As we think and imagine we become by way of those thoughts, and they literally act to shape us at the purely unconscious level. They become a natural part of our subconscious memories just like real experiences do.

Whatever we form as a memory, as a reality that’s a part of our energetic make-up as our vibratory frequency, we not only perceive in our environment, but we act it out unconsciously by expressing it outwardly, creating our self by way of it. Whatever we form internally as an imagined reality (reviewing as a memory), becomes the perceptual lens we look through to see and interact with the same consciousness as an idea in the world around us, and we form a kind of gravitational field that connects us to by resonating with it. Whatever we think about and imagine repeatedly, we “tune” ourselves to that vibration and begin resonating with it outwardly. We begin stimulating it, interacting with it, and absorbing it, and through a repetitive accumulative process we steadily transform ourselves to be like it. As we think and imagine, we relate and “sense ourselves” through the reality of our thoughts, and we begin identifying with them. We typically identify with certain types of ideas, stories, themes, characters, personalities, issues and challenges, and so we always like “those type of movies” or “that type of character”. And by relating to them, and unconsciously initiating them, we shape ourselves to be “like them”.

Purifying Ourselves

To purify ourselves as a conscious and intentional act, is to become aware of this energetic process, gain a firm idea of who we really are and how we want to be, and intentionally select what we engage in, expose ourselves to, associate with, and what type of relationships we form and maintain between the outer and inner. Between our self and our self in another. We form an ideal of ourselves as the embodiment of our best qualities and character traits, and we intentionally and deliberately direct all our activities towards that means. We choose what movies we watch, what stories and dramas we participate in, what relationships we form and maintain, what activities we take up, and what situations we place ourselves in. We choose our diet and lifestyle, not only in physical and material forms, but in mental, emotional, and moral terms.

Soul as Morality

Our subconscious mind is primarily concerned with the body and its survival in the outer world by constantly evolving to become of the same nature, has a primary motive of self-preservation, and acts to maintain habitual behaviors that are emotionally driven and compulsive in nature. The self-conscious mind is focused primarily on others and the activities of the outer world, while interpreting everything through stories of some kind, and constantly preoccupied with redundant thoughts that replay memories and imaginary ideas of some sort. The soul is concerned almost exclusively with our moral nature and what type of things we engage in from a purely ethical perspective of higher (virtuous) and lower (vices) consciousness as principles that we live our life by forming what you could think of as our biography. Our morality is “who we are as a person” and what we stand for in terms of what we demonstrate through our thoughts, emotions, and activities. Whatever we engage and participate in, we become like and bond ourselves to that level of consciousness. We “classify ourselves”, so to speak, through our actions. To be is to do. Whatever we’re being inside determines what we do outside.

The soul isn’t concerned with the body or it destiny, because the body is temporary and only acts as a vehicle or instrument for the soul to express through and self-create by way of. The self-conscious, brain-oriented mind that arises in the body as the soul’s awareness of itself “as” the body, is the identity acquired by way of the body that allows the soul to “experience itself” in a specific way. The experience acquired through the body forms our identity, often called the ego, is mortal in nature and “dies” with the brain and body. The soul is that part of us that’s always in a “witnessing position”. That part of us that’s “in the experience”, having it, yet remains apart from it while observing it both inwardly and outwardly at the same time. The soul maintains a form of fundamental detachment from the body and its life experiences in the sense that while it fully engages in the experiences as a means of gaining an experience of itself in some way, it never mistakes itself for being the body or a mortal being. It realizes that it has full control over both the mind and the body, and, when awake and self-aware, exercises that ability in an intentional and deliberate manner. When the soul remains asleep, the body as the unconscious, unaware aspect that’s always being controlled by it’s instinctual nature and forces outside of itself, and as a means of seeking physical gratification of some kind, runs, and therefore determines the soul through the memories it produces.

The soul’s purpose in living is to become the dominant force within the body, guiding and directing the feelings, thoughts, and activities towards a higher means that consistently moves away from self-indulgence and need-gratification of any form, and towards assuming it’s universal identity acting as a “neutral force for good” in any situation that serves the “highest good” for everyone involved. It’s not self-oriented and driven by needs and desires, but rather selfless with a servant attitude. Because it lacks desire of the things of the material world, it’s free of them, and not held in captivity by them. Because it’s free of self-serving agendas, it’s only intention in any situation is to act as a mediator that facilitates and influences it to the highest and most beneficial means that serves the karma of everyone involved. It doesn’t impose itself on others, or act to coerce and manipulate, because it doesn’t derive its identity through the material world or the body it inhabits, but rather as a benevolent being of a divine and virtuous nature. It seeks not for itself, but only to give. It draws all its power from an internal, eternal source.

To purify the soul, is to allow it to dominate and utilize both the conscious and subconscious mind to create experiences of itself that are completely detached from material needs and identification. It’s to intentionally develop yourself to a virtuous nature that’s capable of drawing in and integrating higher intelligence. It’s to release your needs around material identification, and turn your full awareness within, drawing only on your internal source for power in the outer world. Connecting and developing a strong bond and flow of communication with your Higher Self that’s always held in loving regard with absolute trust. It’s to always act on yourself with that same benevolent mind-set, always loving and caring for yourself as you do others. It’s the act of cultivating yourself to be a channel for divine energy to flow into the world unimpeded, without corruption, and pure in form. By cultivating virtuous qualities, we heal our mind and emotions, strengthen and fortify our body, and become a catalyst for good in the world. This is the only true goal and purpose of the soul.

Sub-personalities – Internal Conflict and the Voices in your Head

One of the most natural aspects of our everyday experience is this constant inner dialogue going on within our mind as a form of discussion, negotiation, or argument between different aspects or parts of ourselves. This natural phenomenon is evident in how we describe it when we say that “one part of me wants to do this, while another part of me wants to do that”. This split decision causes us to feel torn between ideas, and often leaves us never really making a firm decision while constantly going back and forth between extremes of the same idea. This same reality is often depicted as a devil on one shoulder, and an angel on the other, both whispering in our ear. Carl Jung recognized this basic process of consciousness always going on, and developed the idea of the psyche being composed of multiple archetypes or personalities that are always engaged in discussion and persuasion as part of our normal thinking. Of course this idea wasn’t unique to Jung, but is a basic part of ancient wisdom and the archetypes of mythology as aspects of consciousness that represent different personalities, and astrology based on the individual make-up being based on the archetypes and their main focus within a persons basic personality. These are not to be mistaken for “multiple personalities”, which is an entirely different condition, but rather as different aspects of one personality.

 
These inner voices, all with personalities of their own, each exerting themselves in various situations, competing for control of our will, are actually what in psychology we call “sub-personalities”, “inner aspects”, or “different parts”, all of which make the greater overall personality. We’re born with a cluster of archetypal personalities as part of our soul’s make-up, and we acquire them as we go through life from our conditioning, events of strong emotional impact, extreme fear, or trauma’s of some sort. Our parent’s voice, for example, becomes a natural part of our inner dialogue that continues to play out and talk to us from the same attitude, perspective, intention, and demeanor. Our belief system, likewise, comes as an inner discussion that’s always telling us about something from the perspective of the belief it represents. When we encounter shocking, fearful, or intense situations, we can draw into us and take on new aspects that are ideally suited for negotiating that situation “for us”, or as a means of coping with it. Whenever we’re devastated in some way, and fall apart, we let down our resistance to outside forces and influences, and become vulnerable to them through a form of magnetism.

Whatever emotional state we indulge in, we polarize ourselves to, become a magnet for the consciousness of that emotion, and draw into us thoughts that create realities out of the emotions as a possible expression of it. We “take on” the quality of consciousness equivalent to the emotional state, and think thoughts that form inner realities that express and produce more of that emotion. These emotional thoughts, seemingly generated by our mind as the expression of the emotions, take on a life of their own, become an aspect of our personality, and continue to operate in us through a voice that becomes a natural part of our thinking. It’s an aspect of the emotional state that produces it that perceives everything from that perspective, and has its role and intention “as” that perspective. It stays alive in us by thinking through us, and always talking to us in a convincing manner, negotiating the terms of its existence.

 
The sub-personality is always describing things, explaining them, and pointing them out while telling us about them. While they’re active “in us”, we are rendered passive, and allow them to exert themselves by giving them the stage to speak freely. Even when we recognize them, and willfully subdue them, as soon as our guard is down, they reassert themselves and begin controlling our thoughts without our direct awareness. They’re so automatic that they become a natural part of us. After awhile, we can’t separate ourselves from them, come to depend on them, and let them run us and use our mind and will to create by way of us. As long as we fail to integrate the parts, they continue to exert themselves without our direct awareness, through our subconscious nature. Whatever exists in us at the subconscious level, meaning without our direct awareness of it, we continue to act out in an automatic fashion, usually producing what ultimately becomes an internal conflict. They form opposing unconscious aspects of ourselves that go against conscious aspects. We make a decision consciously to do something, and then our subconscious mind brings into play everything that contradicts it and is acting to prevent it, sabotaging our willful efforts. Because these aspects were formed out of intense emotional states, whenever we begin reliving them, or they rise in us and begin playing out by controlling our thoughts, they’re accompanied by strong emotions, which tend to overpower us, and negate rational and reasonable thinking that’s devoid of a strong emotional component.

When two ideas come into direct conflict, each represented by a different aspect of ourselves, the one which elicits the strongest emotion tends to win out. While our first approach may be to fight against the emotional aspect preventing us from consciously progressing in a more favorable direction through active choice and will, this can prove hopeless and at best a temporary gain through dominance and suppression, yet the real solution lies in negotiating terms with the sub-personality, by gaining realization around it, what its purpose and agenda is, what it’s meant to do, and thanking it for its service to you by helping you through the difficult situation in which you acquired it in, then telling it to leave, while mentally forming a pathway out of your body and sending it back out into the universe to be of service to someone else.

 
All energies and natural forces as qualities of consciousness only come into us through a vacancy or void that creates a vacuum as magnetism of some sort, which we could think of as a form of invitation that pulls or draws it into us through resonance, we can simultaneously realize that regardless of the role it takes on, the intention is beneficial because it was designed to help us through a situation we were in as a state of mind that attracted it, or awakened it in us. While we tend to think of the mind as a product of the brain or heart, and therefore “set” and comprised of fixed qualities, the fact of the matter is we are born with a constitution as a set of information and memories that form our initial personality, and we are engaged in a constant process of growth and development through a constant exchange of energy with everything around us. The mind is energetic and invisible in nature, and works through vibration, sympathetic induction, and synthesis, in much the same way we take in the molecules of the air around us by breathing it, which then become an essential part of our molecular structure, while discharging or exhaling molecules no longer needed as a form of recycling. Likewise, the food we eat becomes the building blocks that form our physical body, determining our health as a physical state or condition. Our mind is the electromagnetic energy system of our body that’s drawing into it energies as qualities the consciousness around it. Blending with and becoming the same as them, altering the vibration of the mind through the integration, while emanating or sending back out energies no longer magnetized to it.

The energies of the mind as the invisible forces in the invisible space around us, are “qualities of consciousness” with a singular nature that form an aspect of a larger matrix of energies and become a sub-personality with a specific perspective and perception, that forms a part of our overall personality, modifying it by incorporating the singular perspective, altering the overall perspective. We experience it as a “voice in our head” as “thought” that enter into and become a part of our normal perspective of everyday reality. Because they come as thoughts and feelings, we often don’t realize that they’re not our own, and are something we “acquired” instead, and we give our will to them by letting them rise in us as our perception, thoughts, and interpretation of the meaning events take on. They begin discussing everything as a form of argument that clashes with and negates other aspects, always seeking to win over and resume control of our perception and thought processes.

 
Like all things of the mind and the invisible plane of pure energy that we are submerged in and an integral part of, the only way to extract unwanted aspects, or aspects whose part and role is no longer needed or beneficial, is through recognition and awareness of them and how they operate to influence and control you. Because we acquire these automatically while in an unconscious state of delirium (emotion, trauma, shock, intense fear, etc.), and they’re absorbed into our unconscious mind and arise in us automatically without our direct awareness of them, they continue with us until we become conscious and aware of them. Once we become aware of different aspects of ourselves, and how they exist in conflict with other aspects of our nature, and we realize how they’re serving us through protection and service of some sort, we can appreciate them, feel gratitude for their help, and let them know they’re no longer needed. They no longer serve a desirable or necessary purpose. We can then locate them in our body through the emotion they are a part of and the bodily sensations it produces, and direct them to leave while mentally escorting them out of our body and back into the universal soul of mass consciousness where they’ll become available to be drawn in by someone else in need of their services.

 
The interesting thing about qualities or aspects of consciousness is that they exists on the plane of the mind as consciousness, and can only be worked with from that same plane. The mind controls the mind, and our own conscious awareness and imagination is used to acquire, exchange, utilize, and discharge the consciousness available all around us. We work with our mind by way of our mind. We can realize that our will commands aspects of the mind not only as energies around us, but through the mind of others. We are constantly taking on and exchanging consciousness with everyone and everything around us. By becoming aware of this we can simultaneously learn how to exercise control over it.

 
Once we realize that our soul as our consciousness actually “jumps out of” and exits our body during events of fear, shock, and trauma, causing what you could think of as a vacancy and a form of vacuum as a magnetic pull that draws in energy equivalent to or of the same vibration and quality of our state of mind, or that’s inherent in the situation, we can begin realizing the powerful role emotions and fear play in governing us through acquisition of consciousness that increase and amplifies the state itself. Fear draws into us consciousness of the reality inherent in the fear, and makes us think fearful thoughts, or react with anger and rage, through an inner voice that begins dialoguing with us about the fear and from the perspective and attitude that sees the same type of fear in everything around us just through its perception of it. Looking through the lens of fear, we only see more fear or what warrants fear.

MindfieldBy learning how to manage our state of mind, we can recognize aspects we’ve acquired that aren’t “us”. We can begin distinguishing between our real self and our acquired self. We can begin realizing that certain aspects of our thinking are associated to specific events of our life where we “acquired them” and they became a normal part of our thinking. We can begin realizing how they play a part in sabotaging other aspects of our life, or argue against and negotiate through seduction to prevent willfully bringing about desired changes through conscious decisions to do so. By becoming aware of their strong emotional component we can not only resist their control, but learn how to identify them further, while simultaneously using compelling emotions to fuel and empower our conscious decisions. By gaining realization around them and what they act to prevent, protect us from, deal with, or cause, we can see their purpose and how they were intended to protect us, and how through that same attitude and behavior now act to sabotage our intentional efforts, we can thank it for its help, and tell it it’s no longer needed, then consciously and willfully release it, freeing it from the body and mind, and no longer be subject to it. Anytime we are “removing” one aspect creating a void or opening, we have to consciously draw into that space what we want to fill it, or it’ll do it automatically with whatever is available without our direction. As we create an opening or vacuum we have call or pull our soul back in to fill it, recovering it and becoming whole again. This is traditionally referred to as “Soul Retrieval” in Shamanic Arts.
All energy as spirits, entities, qualities, or emotions is subject to and commanded by the will of the human mind. We willfully acquire them through needing or wanting, or by vacating our body creating an opening for them to enter, take hold, and remain apart of us. While they occupy a part of us, our own soul can’t fully enter back into and operate through us, and remains on the outer boundaries of the mind where an opening has to be created in order to draw our own soul aspects back into our body. Only through awareness, realization, and willful control over them can we release or discharge them. The problem is, once they become a part of us, we build our identity around them as an essential part of ourselves, and form a kind of love for them, and hold them to us as a result. We don’t want to let them go because we’ve become accustomed to the story we began living out of them due to the traumatic circumstances we acquired them through, and feel as if we would lose an important part of ourselves by letting them go that would change tour very psychological make-up by making us encounter and experience in us what they were designed to protect us from. We only draw into us and acquire consciousness that’s of service somehow and therefore useful.

Even when we perceive them as bad or destructive, they’re preventing us from coming face-to-face with other aspects of ourselves that we fear even more, even though they might be ultimately good and serve our growth. For example, anger and hostility may be acquired in response to something terrifying that was exactly what we needed to deal with that event, and so it helped us cope and be able to get through it, that once the terrifying event passed, we still maintain an aspect of us that approaches ordinary experiences with an attitude of anger and aggressiveness, or we see them in a way that makes us feel angry and aggressive that’s an inappropriate response. We can continue to look at ordinary things from a perspective that warrants anger and a hostel attitude. In this way, the very quality that protected us in one situation, now becomes our downfall because it becomes a primary part of our everyday life and we’re “angry a lot”, or it becomes an inappropriate response that we can’t seem to help, and we begin employing volatile reactive behavior in the ordinary sense.

 
While we may come to a conscious decision of no longer needing their diversion, and are willfully choosing to step into what we originally feared and resisted, they continue to play out preventing it by introducing contradicting thoughts and emotions that go against our active decisions and hold us to the same attitudes, identity, and behavioral tendencies they served to develop in the first place. Once they become apart of us, we mistake them for being us, and continue to let them control us by living out of them and never sticking with our decisions that would eradicate them by rendering them subjective to our will.

 
Like all things, the idea is never to fight against or resist something, but rather to remove it and its influences from the system altogether, modifying the mind, and removing all blocks to progressive growth through willful decision making. At the level of the mind and consciousness, awareness is the key! Anything we remain unaware of continues to play out in our life, without our consent. By becoming aware of unconscious or shadow aspects of ourselves, we can dissolve them through awareness itself. Not through hating them or judging them to be bad, weak, or wrong, but rather by recognizing how they were serving us at some level and were exactly what we needed to deal with the situation we were in when we attracted them. When they entered us they were helping us to cope with and negotiate some situation that was difficult for us, or that we didn’t feel equipped to deal with. It’s only through true recognition and love and gratitude, that we work with the very consciousness that makes up our own being and serves to create our life experiences and impose a distinct direction on our life’s path by playing a part in controlling our choice and will to bring about certain realities. Love, appreciation and gratitude elicit a natural state of cooperation necessary to direct energetic forces.

Innovative Leadership for Creative ways of doing Business – Becoming a Social Architect

Cosmic_creativityMany people view leaders as those having a vision that they then use to inspire the group that will be responsible for actually creating it by instructing them on what they need to do in order to create the vision as a team effort. And while this is probably a somewhat affective method for a corporate, drone worker type mentality, or those who imagine their role as “boss” is to micromanage and rule over others with a whip in hand and a stern face, but for the more innovative and creative enterprises, a leader is one who organizes the talents and personalities of every team member to form a dynamic vision as the integration of multiple ideas to come up with a unique and specialized idea that incorporates the full participation of everyone involved. It’s a creative process, that even when developed into an organizational practice, remains a “work in progress” where new ideas and creative solutions are consistently being experimented with as a means of constantly improving whatever service, product, or process the business provides.

 
I often get asked what my “method” or “model” is that I practice by, usually anticipating an answer as a “tried and proven” method handed down by someone considered an expert in the business of leadership (whatever that means) that everyone will recognize and therefore trust. I always find this question a bit confusing and often draw a blank in response to it, because the only method I use is the creative process and the scientific method of experimentation. While the combination of these is somewhat of a “method”, how it’s formulated and utilized varies with every situation, dynamic group of people operating as a team within that business, and the basic vision and intention for the business of the person most responsible for organizing and overseeing the operation of the team as a whole. Every situation has a unique idea they’re creating, with a unique group of talent and varying levels of expertise, and a unique style as their personality, service or method of delivery, and vision. My job is simply to help them realize what this is, embraced it in the practical sense, and put into place the basic processes for creating it as a reality while keeping it as simple as possible.

I don’t walk in with a preconceived idea about what needs to happen, or a “cookie-cutter” method that I impose on them under the facade of being an expert with ready made solutions to every problem, but rather I help them to begin thinking about things in a new way, learn how to operate as a whole rather than as fragmented and disconnected parts, and elicit participation of each individual, and their ability to capitalize on the talents of every team member, while developing a portfolio of diverse ideas that can be strategically integrated to form new and possible solutions, or to come up completely novel methods. I teach Entrepreneurs to begin thinking in new ways and maximizing the talents of their staff and associates. I provide them with the skills for learning to think and operate as a dynamic team with a shared goal as a desired outcome. Where every member is valued for their unique perspective and expertise and contribution to the daily operations and how that enhances and enriches the experience of everyone involved. The best way to get buy-in and accountability from everyone involved is by utilizing their ideas, while taking an attitude of perfecting them “as you go” based on feedback that allows you to shape them through the actual application into an efficient system.

 
I teach business owners how to develop a business plan as an overall vision that’s an integration of different visions to form a working collaboration. When people’s ideas are actively employed and used to help form the standard procedures of the business, there’s a strong investment to make sure they succeed and an increased accountability to make sure they’re adhered to. When everyone involved is a valuable part of the whole and necessary to make it a success, they perform at much higher levels, and with an attitude of enthusiasm, sincerity, and commitment. When they’re an active part of the creation, and a necessary part of the equation, your staff and business becomes a family, and the commodore and quality of life for everyone involved is greatly enhanced, where loving their work is the norm, and the company as a whole can achieve a state of excellence in what they do, and every member grows and learns within their daily experiences.

Conscious Programming – “The Art of Self-Creation”

The conscious mind has the ability to program the subconscious mind, yet we have to first realize that they actually speak (work by) different languages. The conscious mind is abstract and thinks in terms of verbal language as words that lack behavior as actualizing, whereas the subconscious mind is experiential and emotional in nature and speaks in terms of pictures and sensory images as life-like realities that mimic actual memories. The conscious mind programs the subconscious (body awareness) through the imagination as an inner vision that transforms an abstract idea into a conceptualized reality. The imagination as the mind’s eye takes a basic idea, and through the process of applying it to a specific situation or set of circumstances, reinterprets it by personalizing it. We imagine it “as if” we were actually experiencing it as a real life situation. This creates the idea as a living pattern equivalent to a memory, which the subconscious uses to produce behavior that “acts out” the same scenario as a real life experience.

 
By imagining the desired idea as a reality, we not only create a pattern for application, but also create it as a believable possibility that we simultaneously identify with through the enactment. This creates the desired reality as an inner reality that the subconscious superimposes on the outer reality, organizing and reinterpreting it accordingly. The mind constructs realities by how it composes ideas to give them meaning. The meaning we give an idea determines how we experience it. Meaning shapes experience. It takes the imagined reality as an actual experience, which integrates and incorporates it through an accumulative effect that modifies the current paradigm as a system of beliefs based on memory (living realities) as a unification of the physical with the spiritual that provides a new template for generating thematic realities as analogous correspondences. It creates experiences that are of the same nature as a form of theme.

We take an abstract idea as a universal theme, and create an inner reality as a template that produces a frequency that’s used to magnetize and organize the outer reality as being of a similar nature. It won’t be exactly the same as the inner imagining, because it can only use elements in the immediate environment that are of the same frequency and therefore lend themselves to telling the same type of story. The outer experience will be of the same nature and basic idea of the imagined reality based on what’s available in the immediate environment that can be used to orchestrate the experience as a congruent theme.

 
Ideas, as feeling experiences, represent a vibratory frequency that attracts what is of the same nature and therefore has the same inherent tendencies that can be used to express the same idea as a joint reality. Whatever is of a different frequency, likewise, is simultaneously repelled. We only “see” ourselves (what matches our paradigm) in others and our environment, even though many other possibilities coexist within the same space and time. What is of the same nature as us we not only notice and give attention to (it stands out), we simultaneously allow to enter into us (energetic sympathy), stimulating an inner reaction (resonance) to it as a result. This is what we refer to as chemistry that produces a natural interaction based on an affinity of sorts.

When we allow ideas to readily and willingly be introduced into our mind, and take hold by thinking about them, we are allowing ourselves to be “programmed” by others or an external source. We then become subject to it because it acts to “tune us” to the same vibratory frequency as a joint reality that we create inward using our own mind. We allow ourselves to be determined – created – by outside forces. This is the result of the subconscious and passive aspect of the mind as our animalistic (body) nature that can be readily trained and domesticated by outside influences that we align with and allow to control us. We are influenced by another mind that imposes a direct influence on us, dominates by introducing an active force as an idea that’s willingly accepted by our passive and receptive mind, that controls us by absorbing and commanding our will.

 
When we give our will to the service of another by conforming to them, they act to control us and determine our behavior, which also shapes our identity accordingly. We enter into a sympathetic relationship with them, and through suggestion that acts to modify and manipulate our inner reality, we respond to them in a very predictable way. They train us to behave in a certain way by how they interact with us. Through the emotional quality of their communication, which acts as the hook for seating ideas in the imagination, allowing them to take hold long enough to develop them into personal realities by thinking about them in a compulsive manner. They “give us” emotional thoughts that are theirs, and we adopt them and then act to develop them as our own. This forms the basis of what we refer to as the “group mind” which is ultimately a form of subliminal mind entrainment designed to train people to certain types of behavior that they mistaken for their own.

 
Once we understand how we use our mind to self-create by creating internal realities that become the living patterns for outer realities of the same nature, we can withdraw our mental and emotional power from the group mind, and use our imagination to self-create in unique and individual ways instead. We can program our own mind and body by creating inner experiences of our desired reality, then enhancing them with sensory details, while infusing them with very positive emotions that magnetize them by making them compelling. Positive attracts and grows, negative repels and diminishes. To “become” by growing ourselves, is achieved through positive and active means, while allowing our negative, self-sabotaging aspects to fall away and subside, because we no longer keep them alive in our imagination. Fill your mind constantly with what you desire to experience and how you want to feel as a result. Sense yourself in very desirable ways that will shape your identity accordingly and will form your character as the means of bringing ideas into physical form as experiences that are self-perpetuated and performed by you!

The Nature of Personal Power – “How to Become Empowered in your own Life while Empowering others in Theirs”

The quest for personal power takes on many faces, and can present a real dilemma for many people, most of which induce an endless compromise as a negotiation between unconscious-feeling aspects of themselves, and conscious-aware aspects. Whether or not we “own” our power and employ it as part of our personality and normal ways of doing things is not based on our conditioning in the typical sense, but rather how we respond to the events and activities of our life that establish and develop our identity. Even our conditioning and how we’re trained to certain dynamics being acted out and what role in that dynamic we take on as a part of our natural personality, develops the story we begin living out of that gives us a sense of ourselves by way of that story. We begin taking on a position early in life of either defiance, or stubbornly standing our ground when others act to intimidate or exercise power over us, or we back down, submit, become meek and emotionally weak, and allow them to control us, and thereby determine us.

Whatever role we take on in the dynamic we’re raised with develops us according to that role, and the story we begin developing in our minds as a way of understanding the way people are, and the way life is, also comes to define us in relation to it all. The story we begin telling ourselves as a way of making sense of it all, becomes the role we take on in general, and how we come to identify with our own story about things. We develop “interactive dynamics” out of our story about things where we are either in a position of self-control and initiation, or where we’re reacting to being controlled and manipulated by others through a reactive state.

 
When we feel powerless, there are typically a couple of ways we approach it, either succumbing to it and being a victim, helpless to change while suffering because of it, or we begin the quest of “getting” power by taking it from others. Some engage in a constant process of trying to exercise control over others or a situation by being manipulative, coercive or antagonistic. They’re always trying to figure out what they need to do to get others to do what they want them to do. They design their behavior strictly according to manipulative strategies that rely on a victim mentality that will give into them. In this dynamic, the person seeking power has to hook-up with the person whose willing to give up their power, and the victim who lacks power or looks to readily give theirs away, hooks up with the villain who gladly takes it. We always form relationships with our complementary opposite and continue acting out dynamics as a form of negotiation and soul-bartering.

 
You can always tell the difference between who has power and who doesn’t by their behaviors and what attitude they’re expressing and demonstrating. These same type of dynamics are being played out in all areas of our life, through various relationships, whether they be friendships, romantic, siblings, parent-child, social, or in the workplace. Whatever idea a person is imprinted with is integrated into their psychology and becomes a dynamic part of even their most basic behaviors. It becomes a natural part of who they are and how they’re being as a fundamental part of their personality and identity that they carry with them into all of their life-situations.

All relationships involve an interaction of consciousness as energetic dynamics formed by complementary opposites, that act on each other, stimulating in each other the opposite expression of the same trait that they share in common, that together form the interactive roles necessary to act out a dynamic as a joint reality that reinforces and strengthens each persons role in that dynamic. In every relationship you have the attraction and interaction of opposites as active and passive, masculine and feminine, outer and inner, and dominant and recessive. When relationships first form, one person or element establishes dominance over the other, which sets into motion a larger dynamic that the relationship serves to act out. In a healthy relationship, the roles of dominance are shared and move back and forth depending on what they’re doing or dealing with, where each individual’s strengths and powers are utilized to serve the greater good of both as a unit or interactive whole. This “dynamic-duo” action utilizes the strength of both as a dance with life. Here power is shared and equally moves between them as a coordinated effort or psychological strategy. In unhealthy relationships that exist with a lack of balance, one person consistently dominates and intimidates the other into submission, even when they clearly lack knowledge and abilities in the area of life they’re dealing with. This is where one person wants to exercise exclusive control over the other through a form of dictatorship, that ultimately becomes abusive. In this type of situation, one is always in the process of trying to get power by taking it from the other, and a power struggle ensues. The other usually responds by retaliating and contesting, purposely deceiving them behind their back, or by becoming passive and weak while building resentment that turns into hatred.

 
In any situation or behavioral dynamic being acted out as a relationship, you can immediately establish who has power, who’s looking to get power by taking it, and who readily surrenders and gives up their power while succumbing to the will of another in order to be accepted, loved, or to be apart of things. A person who has power, and therefore doesn’t need to get it from others or establish it outwardly through station or status, is not only comfortable in themselves, but act to stimulate others through the demonstration of their own power, employing them in a sense through a form of shared power. When we outwardly demonstrate power, we inspire others to access their own power in relation to us. We don’t necessarily give our power to those who don’t have power of their own, but rather when we demonstrate power as confidence and clarity of mind and purpose, we give them an example of what power is, what it feels like, and how to recognize it in others and themselves. Just through the nature of our interaction we connect them with that same internal resource, activate it in response to us, and call it forth in them, while giving them an example as a possible means for expressing it by stepping into it and becoming it.

 
Because true personal power is the most valued human commodity, and so few people actually possess it, and even fewer people know how to openly and comfortably express it by demonstrating it, many have no role-model that gives them a clear idea of what power looks and feels like when you’re in the presence of it. This is largely because power is a self-contained quality that’s connected to and drawn on completely from an internal source and not sought outwardly through an interaction of some sort. When we’re in the “presence” of those who are powerful we form an immediate sense of admiration for them, that causes us to feel a certain way, where we naturally access those same qualities in ourselves by resonating with them and entering into a natural state of rapport with them. Because of this, we feel more powerful when we’re around them. By watching their behavior and attitude, we can model (imitate) it, and in doing so bring out in us the same feeling. We can acquire a behavior as a form of template or instruction for learning “how” to be in our power. We can then “practice” being in such a way that we connect to the inner resources of “being that way” becoming a channel for expressing that quality which reshapes our character according to it.

geneIn order to access and develop a quality, we have to have a behavior or means for “being it”, that through the practice, we become like it. If we don’t have a pathway or way of doing something, we often stop at the realization of not knowing what to do or how to do it. This is what many people experience as being “stuck” when they’re attempting to change and transform their ability to manifest new realities by expressing in new ways. When it’s demonstrated for us, it acts to stimulate those same feelings in us, while giving us a model to imitate. By embracing that feeling while employing the same type of behaviors, we become the same in mind and body, and cultivate the same feeling state as a way of being in ourselves.

 
Whatever “state-of-being” is around us, we feel it’s presence through resonance, which activates those same feelings and qualities in us, calling them forth in response to it. As we “observe” the outward behaviors that express and inward feeling, and we “enter into them” through a state of rapport as inspiration (admiration), we naturally take on the same type of behaviors, becoming the outward expression of the same feeling-quality, and in being “one with it”, become the same as it. We not only access the same feeling-state within us that’s comparable to the outer state stimulating it, but we become the vehicle for expressing that state, and cultivate ourselves by way of that state to “be” like it.

 
This is the phenomenon of the most basic laws that govern our mind-body system as resonance (like begets like), sympathetic induction (vibration enters into the same vibration in another and produces an effect), and coherence that reorganizes the similar patterns of both to form a new pattern as a new whole. Whatever quality as a state of mind being outwardly demonstrated, stimulates, awakens, and brings into active expression that same feeling-state in everything around it. As it activates it and calls it forth, it becomes the basis of their interaction, which is the interactive expression of that same shared quality in both people. As it’s expressed through the dynamic (behavioral pattern) being acted out as the means for expression, it’s developed and strengthened in both people, and develops our character and tendencies through the shared enactment. We become one with the quality itself as a power, and it acts on us to reshape us into a new form and gives us a new way of being as the channel for expressing that characteristic.

energySo the quest for power that’s always going on, even when we don’t realize it or recognize it as such, is always acting on us to shape us in response to it. We only grow by what we resist. By recognizing this, we move into a position of not being affected by it by reacting to it in an automatic fashion, and we realize in that moment of control that we can “choose” our response. Once we begin realizing what’s going on energetically, while actively choosing how or if we’re going to respond, we begin exercising the first stages of taking back possession of our power to self-create and become self-determined through masterful use of our will. We can begin taking an objective view of any situation, seeing the underlying dynamic going on, and interact with it accordingly, with full awareness of what we’re doing and why. In this way we can truly exercise our power over the emotions of others and the material world, not by beating it into submission, but by entering into it while still maintaining full awareness of what we’re doing, become one in mind and body with it, then introduce an influence that will naturally bring out different qualities in others, and in doing so, lead it in a whole new direction through a state of complete cooperation.

 
This ability to work with the energy and consciousness of a situation is the exercise of true power and psychological dominion over the material plane as the ultimate form of leadership, where people don’t even realize they’re being led, and where you act to naturally bring out the best in people that creates an activity that serves the greater good in the most beneficial way possible for everyone involved. In a business sense, the greater good is the vision and mission of the business, and in an intimate relationship, the greater whole is the best possible response that brings out the best in each other and develops it through a loving and intimate interaction.

 
When we are in full possession of our own mind and body and able to operate it with strategic intelligence, we simultaneously realize that our power over others comes as a direct result of our power over ourselves, and the most natural way we control others is by how we influence them through our own behaviors. Not by attempting to exercise power over them or by reducing them to an inferior status, but by becoming an example for them to follow. We lead them by inspiring them in such a way that it brings out the best in them through an elevated state of being, that we then enter into a concert with becoming an example for them to imitate. We first act to bring out the necessary qualities and traits in others by embodying them ourselves, then give them a pathway for expressing them through the example we set, that elevates their station, and develops them through higher character traits to be fully empowered in their own lives by using their will as it’s intended to self-create and become a productive part of a greater idea to which they resonate and aspire towards. This not only creates a state of cooperation and uninhibited participation, but a sense of enthusiasm and passion that forms a deep sense of complete and utter devotion to the greater whole of which they are now an active and important part. The best way we lead as a demonstration of our power is by eliciting “love” in others through the beauty of our expressive abilities to inspire and enlighten and calls them to rise to new heights as an equal response to us.

Personal Transformation from your Lower-Self to your Higher-Self: “Striving for Self-Perfection”

Transcendence
The idea of perfection has been greatly misconstrued, and has even in some cases been turned into a “bad” idea by some who use it in more of the sense of standards being placed “on us” by others, trying to live up to their ideas about us or please them in some way by changing our behaviors in order to win their favor and affections, or in an attempt to remedy the idea of “worthiness” by telling you you’re perfect just the way you are, and you need not do anything to be worthy of “God’s love”. All these concepts are built out of the idea that perfection has something to do with “someone out there” (others or God) that’s placing standards on you that have to be met in order to be considered perfect, and therefore worthy of their love and generosity, or to be included in their private circle. Yet, none of these have anything to do with the real idea behind “self-perfection”.

 
To be perfect is to be utilizing all off your talents, latent potential, inner qualities, knowledge, special abilities, and untapped inner resources to willfully modify and adjust, or rearrange your mental paradigm as your perceptual lens that identifies errors in your perception and dynamics you’re programmed with that are destructive, harmful, unproductive, sabotaging, and cause you misery and suffering somehow by way of your own tendencies. Perfection can also be thought of as creating an “ideal” for yourself that’s what you deem to be “the best you can be”, that create a life experience of being empowered in your ability to actively create it through mastering your will, and where you are fulfilled in the most ordinary sense, and able to productively create in your life in a way that creates health, happiness, and prosperity. Not by obsessively trying to change others so you’ll be alright to stay just as you are, but by working exclusively on yourself to recognize and address your own character flaws, false perceptions, and unconscious tendencies. All of which are acting together to cause you to express in a negative way producing your own suffering.

venturi manSelf-perfection is to look within, and through introspection (examining yourself), see what type of story you’re always in the process of living out, and what role you’re playing in that story that shapes you by way of it. We always start with a paradigm structured out of our accumulated experiences that are all interpreted through the same type of story-line, forming a consistent experience of our outer reality and the events of our life that are “produced by” our perception, then used to create our experience, which shapes and defines us by way of them. We are at once the author of the story being told by how we interpret everything, the main character in our story that everything revolves around having the experience of it as an actual reality, while watching it being played out as a reflection in others. We are the central point out of which our world evolves and is held into place forming a consistent pattern as a theme that forms the basis for all our experiences. We’re always the one causing our own suffering, emotional pain and unhappiness, by how we process information and what dynamics we naturally engage in and cooperatively participate in acting it out as a group scenario.

 
We are always the ones creating our own experiences. We have only to begin recognizing this while cultivating the ability to look at ourselves from an objective perspective so we can see our own tendencies and patterns without an emotional investment or need to justify it by how we explain it. When we can remove our attachments to our perceptions, and step outside of the emotional element that the story acts to express and create more of, and look at the story we’re living out from a dissociated position, we can begin “seeing” ourselves as we really are. It’s the emotional component that causes us to become unconscious of our own behaviors. It’s the emotion controlling our thoughts that “forms” the story we begin living out of. Emotions become the motivation for all our behaviors. Emotions are “energy in motion” that produces activity that controls our thoughts to form the story that expresses the emotion as a reality that amplifies and increases the emotion, giving us more of the same feeling through the telling. We are conditioned to certain emotions through our family dynamics that form the initial patterns for all our relationships that we continue to create out of throughout our life. Our conditioning is what establishes (or reestablishes) our mental paradigm as a mental structure of a whole series of congruent patterns, all of which act together to form a larger pattern as the “theme” that shapes all our events by conforming them to tell the same type of story. All our behaviors are unconsciously being produced in a natural, spontaneous, and automatic way by our mind as our soul.

The transformative idea around self-perfection, is to become self-aware of what we’re normally not aware of that’s being acted out unconsciously, and in recognizing and forming awareness around it, we have the ability to begin working with it consciously in an intentional and deliberate way to “reform” ourselves by embodying new qualities that naturally lend themselves to new ways of being. In recognizing the dynamics we’re programmed to as life-patterns, we can also recognize the emotions that produce them and keep us actively engaging in them. Emotions are the common denominator that connects the inner to the outer through the same thematic patterning as a behavioral dynamic. By understanding the emotions we’re prone to, we can also realize how we’re being internally stimulated emotionally by other people and situations that render us unconscious (literally) and keep us involved in acting out the same dynamics. Again, just the awareness of what’s happening inside of us at any given moment, nullifies it, and brings it under control, providing us with the neutralized basis to begin actively working on ourselves to change our own internal dynamics, which produce a chain reaction that also begins transforming our outer experiences.

 
The ancient art of Alchemy as Personal Transformation is the secret to all healing that allows us to move from a personalized, unconscious status, to an elevated conscious and universal status. Through self-awareness that brings realization around unconscious and hidden aspects of ourselves, we can deliberately work on ourselves to “perfect” ourselves healing unconscious tendencies by integrating them. Awareness alone begins the process of integration which transforms it by what we “choose to employ” in its place. All healing, in the spiritual sense, is becoming aware of aspects of ourselves that operate below the level of consciousness, without our direct awareness, that keeps us living out of false realities as an emotional delusion. It’s being fully self-aware and therefore self-directed and self-created with full awareness and comprehension of what we’re creating.

 
To perfect, is to reconstruct in order to operate in a highly proficient and harmonious manner. It’s to create in a benevolent and productive manner as a true vessel for self-expression as love that brings a deep sense of contentment, inner peace, and emotional beauty. We have to first learn how to bring emotions under control, neutralizing their effect “on us”, disengaging negative ones, while strategically employing positive ones to use as the basis for our expression as our perceptions and behaviors, and the dynamics our behaviors create and participate in within the outer world. All of our life-dynamics and thematic stories emerge naturally from whatever emotions we’re experiencing and allowing to come “through” us. Thought exists in direct relationship with its emotional equivalent. What we’re thinking about and imagining as a preview for reality is formed by our emotional state. Our emotions control our thoughts keeping us “thinking out of” a predominately unconscious (repetitious) state. And likewise, our thoughts also have the ability to produce emotions in response to them that are their equivalent as the expressive component of the thoughts that produce behaviors that brings the inward reality of the thoughts outward as a congruent experience. On the material plane, thoughts are passive and emotions are active. On the higher, spiritual (invisible) planes, the opposite is true and thoughts as ideas are active, and emotions are a passive response to thoughts as their equivalent that form the physical channel for actualizing the thoughts as an experience of reality. The dynamic relationship between thought, emotion, and actions exists on all planes simultaneously through different orientations.

humanenergy-spiritual-beings-consciousnessTo self-perfect and therefore consciously create, is to work this formula from a higher perspective where you neutralize emotion and bring them under control, while activating original thought as the template for creating new experiences that match the emotion to the idea by stimulating it, becoming a vehicle for it’s expression by employing the behaviors that act it out. It’s only by letting go of our habitual emotional states that we can gain control over them and over our thoughts which are otherwise controlled by them. Once we neutralize the intensity and stimulating qualities of emotions, we can experience a kind of “freeing sensation” that creates a strangely objective feeling as a dissociated awareness. In this awareness that’s no longer controlled by our emotional states and the emotions of others, we become aware from a calm place that we have the ability to choose, not only what we think and why we’re thinking it, but also how we want to respond to any situation, not as an unconscious and automatic reaction being projected, but as a means of creating in the situation by redirecting it. We gain a position of being “at cause” rather than the “effect that then acts as the cause”, causing more of the same thing. In this strange new awareness of choice without any influences (making the choice for us) directing our choice, comes a sense of responsibility for what we want to create by how we interact and consciously move it in a new direction by not only deflecting the emotions of others, but intentionally introducing new ones that change their emotional state and serve to move it in a whole new direction, creating a new experience.

 
With knowledge and the creative ability to apply it directly on others to create in an intentional and precise way, comes a heightened sense of responsibility for our creation and the consequences we draw on ourselves as a result. This is why the prerequisite for gaining higher knowledge is moral purity that cleanses our character of undesirable traits that not only would cause us to use our power in a selfish and harmful way, but would also condemn the soul of the individual to the consequences of their own actions. Any act that hurts another person, hurts ourselves in exact measure. What we do unto others we also do unto ourselves by drawing to us direct consequences of our own actions. Those who look to control and manipulate others, are in fact controlled and manipulated by others in direct response to them. As we seek to manipulate, we’re being manipulated just through the seeking itself. Any action creates an equal or greater reaction of the same nature. The effect is always the equivalent or of the same nature as the cause.

 
So self-perfection comes as a heightened form of self-awareness that allows us to reverse the orientation of the lower-emotional mind controlling the higher-idea mind, by bringing emotions into a neutral state where we’re no longer reactive to them, and we intentionally choose what ideas we’re going to employ, that moves us from a unconscious personalized illusion of reality, into a more universal and creatively objective reality where our will and ability to choose are reinstated and we begin creating ourselves and our lives through a different relationship with our own mind and body. We become conscious creators in our own life by mastering our ability to control and direct the elements of thought and emotion. We step outside of our self, and see ourselves in an objective manner from the perspective of our higher-self, always witnessing the experience from a neutral state by remaining outside of them, unattached and without desire. From this higher and more objective perspective, we are unaffected by the elements of the material – Astral plane, and are therefore able to control and direct it by creating and utilizing it as our medium and tools for self-creating.

To self-perfect is to honestly self-create with full awareness of what you’re doing and what reality you’re initiating that move you from being the effect of your conditioning to the one determining it. The soul is no longer control by the emotional states and behaviors of the body, and is free to use the body as a neutral conduit for creating within the material plane. By gaining control of the Elements, and stepping fully into our higher consciousness, we lose all personal desires born out of our identification with our body, and take on a position of serving the greater whole of humanity by acting always to facilitate their growth by moving them out of the darkness and into the light where they can see all aspects of themselves as they really are for the first time. In our perfection we ascend in consciousness to a higher plane that’s not personally invested in this plane, where we realize and can fully utilize our ability to deliberately express and create within this plane by first controlling and directing our own emotional thoughts, then being able to act as a mirror for others to become aware of their true nature and the delusions they create by letting their emotions control their mind and produce their experience of reality (and themselves) by way of them.

 
Self-perfection is gaining full control of your self within the material plane by stepping into yourself on the higher plane and being able to see everything in the light with eyes wide open. It’s to become self-aware, self-realized, and self-created. It’s to actualize latent potential, not necessarily as attributes and qualities that transform your character, though this may be how it starts, but by being able to take on a whole new perspective that sees your self “in this world, but not of it”, literally. Where you begin identifying more with your spiritual aspect than your bodily aspect. Where you return your body to a neutral vehicle for spirit to move through and create in the world masterfully using the very elements that shape it.

Our Vibratory Frequency is our Soul’s Essence

The term vibratory frequency is used a lot to describe ideas around ascension or spiritual awakening, without really explaining what it means or how to actually alter your vibratory frequency as an intentional act or form of self-development. In order to be able to work with anything in a conscious and deliberate manner we have to have a fundamental understanding of it in practical terms. Through an inherent understanding we can either employ methods or create methods of our own for working on ourselves to facilitate our own growth, and alter our level of consciousness which “is” our vibratory frequency.

 
In order to understand vibration, we have to look at the nature of energy itself, not as a form of electricity, although electricity is a form of energy, but in terms of the “subtle” energy that permeates all of life and the universe as a whole, which is a very dynamic form of consciousness, often referred to as “life-force” that forms a synchronistic step-down process that in-forms and animates matter through specific characteristics as a “quality” of consciousness. Consciousness itself exists as a dynamic configuration of various attributes and qualities that form characteristics. Vibration as a quality of consciousness forms patterns as a form of accumulated memory, that “in-forms” matter with corresponding qualities and behaviors.

Vibration as a state-of-mind emanates corresponding realities through a form of projection and mental filters, as a natural expression of that vibratory frequency as a dynamic matrix of various forms of memory all created out of the same quality as a “theme”. The vibratory frequency as the core or essential nature emanates and projects onto the environment and others forming our perception of them through the filter of our mind, which reforms them into the same image (basic pattern) and likeness (dynamic qualities and behaviors) as itself (resonance alters vibration and restructures it forming coherence). In other words, we reshape others to be like us by how we interpret them through the story we tell about them. The “story” we tell is the offspring of a larger pattern as an “over-all theme” which “is” our vibratory frequency in the most practical sense. Vibration as a quality of consciousness forms our character which is ideal for telling certain types of stories, which are dynamic patterns that are altered forming endless variations based on how we adapt it to a variety of situations and circumstances. While the elements being used to tell the story may change, the story itself holds true to a consistent theme. Vibrations as states have whole realities inherent in them. These vibratory frequencies as living patterns are often referred to as “spheres of consciousness”, which symbolize the Monad.

 
Vibrationally speaking, we can only enter into other spheres of consciousness that are of the same vibratory frequency, and naturally lend themselves to forming the same thematic structures. We can only perceive ourselves (what’s of the same nature) in others. Resonance which awakens and vibrates the same frequency through energetic sympathy in others, enters into them and affects them by stimulating the same qualities and bringing them out through the nature of the interaction itself, which develops both people into a new pattern (interference pattern) based on the qualities they share in common.

Vibration produces certain types of experience as it’s expressive component, that then become memory as a form of programming that builds itself out of more of the same vibration, amplifying and increasing it. Change the nature of the experience that forms a new kind of memory, which exists at both the mind and cellular level, and you form a new structure accordingly. We can only work directly with our vibratory frequency through our state of mind as a basic mood. All experience emerges as a direct correspondence to our mood. Our state determines what type of thoughts we think, what realities we form in our imagination, and the emotions we experience in reaction to our own thoughts. By cultivating and working intentionally to create the proper state of mind out of which we experience life through the stories we tell ourselves about it, we work directly to alter our vibratory frequency. By holding a certain state or mood consistently and creating our experiences out of that state, that we then identify with and become new memories which begin building up through an accumulative affect, we can literally alter, and hopefully raise our vibration through use of our will as intention action.

 
Because we are held within a certain vibratory range, most change comes in a gradual way as a form of progression. When we begin forming an awareness of what our state of mind is in the general sense, we can also begin realizing why our life is the way it is, and we can decide on what type of changes we want to make, and what mind-set that reality would naturally flow out of. Our state of mind is basically created three ways, each of which acts to unify the other two. Our state is created by what we focus on, what we tell ourselves about what we’re focused on that gives it meaning, and what we’re doing with our bodies as our physiology. These three aspects are always in-sync with each other. Change any one of these, and you change the other two automatically, to form a unified state.

 
If you feel as if you can’t control your thoughts and what you give your attention to, then you can work by way of changing the story you’re telling yourself about it, or by changing your physiology. Change what you’re doing with your body. Notice that the body is always a direct and proportional reflection of the mind. Positive states have behaviors inherent in them. Employ those behaviors, and you alter your state accordingly. By becoming active, energetic, expressive with your hands and body gestures, or how you hold yourself in general, your posturing, you feel different, sense yourself in a different way, and alter your state of mind to match it.

So the most direct way to alter your vibratory frequency is by learning how to manage your own mind in terms of what you are focused on, channeling attention into, how your thinking about it in terms of what you’re telling yourself about it that makes it mean something, and how that’s reflected in your body language. While we may think that we have no control over these in the direct sense, because they are largely unconscious and automatic in nature, the fact of the matter is, we do have control. We just have to realize we do, and begin practicing “choosing” and intentionally creating our mood by how we’re using our own mind.

 
By becoming aware of our different moods, and what strategy we’re employing as a means of producing those moods, we can develop a strategy for intentionally producing whatever state of mind we want to based on what type of experiences we want to create. Then, by taking control of what we focus on, how we look at what we’re focused on, and what we’re doing with our body, we can intentionally control our own state of mind, and in doing so, work consciously with our vibratory frequency and the type of realities as our personal experiences that we live out of and act to create as a result. By recognizing our own tendencies and what type of story we’re always in the process of telling ourselves, and living out by how we act and how we influence other people to embody the same mood, we can begin working consciously in our own lives to learn how to tell a new story. One that we want to tell and one that we want to use to intentionally change our memories to produce a new way of being in our own lives. In doing this, we alter our vibration and evolve our soul into new forms of expression breaking old karmic patterns.

The Power of the Imagination – “Becoming the Author and Main-Star of our own Life”

The imagination is greatly misunderstood by many people, even though we all have one, in terms of its true power. While the imagination can be used in a very creative way to produce and develop new ideas and works of art, it is also used in the more mundane sense to create fantasies as delusions by making up stories about things, or by replaying memories over and over as new variations that keep us always creating out of the past. Either way we use it, it provides a form of mental construct as the preliminary blueprint or thematic template for turning an idea into a physical reality.

 
Many confuse imagining with visualization, and as a result, draw the conclusion that they can’t visualize. Yet everyone can visualize and are doing it all the time through a form of recollection (memory as a mental imprint), or simply conceptualizing an idea as a way grasping it, or playing out possibilities as a form of anticipation. The imagination, while it works largely out of visualization, also works via all the senses, and comes just as readily as hearing something, feeling a certain way, sensing touch, smell, and so on. To imagine something is to create a sensory experience of it. Because senses are interconnected, and one automatically stimulates the others through a chain-of-association, no matter what triggers the imaginative process, a full reality as an inner experience of some sort is what results.

 
Memory or ideas thought about and imagined, come as a form of “invisible-translucent image” that’s similar to a reflection on glass, or the reflection on a dark surface (mirroring quality). We can replay memories in our mind while starring off into the space around us shifting our attention from the actual reality which fades into the background while giving our attention to the imaginary reality taking its place. We then play one reality over the top of the other one. While imaginary realities don’t have near the prominence of the actual outer physical reality, we still feel, see, hear, and recall what we were thinking about in full detail, and they produce a pronounced “internal affect” that colors our outer experiences to be of the same “feeling state”. This quality as more of an invisible, translucent image, that’s superimposed over the outer reality, becomes our “perceptual lens” that we “look through” and use to interpret our outer reality to be of the same nature or thematic idea. Through this translucent imagery as a lens, we restructure our outer reality, by abstracting, illuminating and activating only what matches it and can be used to form the same patterning as a feeling state, while not even noticing the elements that don’t lend themselves to expressing and creating more of the same feeling-states. Our attention operates as a form of “activating system” that pulls out what’s of the same idea while causing whatever isn’t to return to a latent, inactive state, and fade into the background. Through this means, we “filter” our outer, objective reality to match our internal imagined reality.

Whatever we think about and imagine, which simultaneously forms an intention and expectation, becomes the lens as an ordering –organizing mechanism that literally determines what we “see” by how our mind restructures it by forming a personal interpretation of it. Because of this natural ability of the mind, we literally create our own interpretation of reality, and everybody sees something different in the same situation based on this filtering mechanism produced by the imagination as the internal reality that becomes the template for rearranging the outer reality as a reconfiguration, while noticing only the things that can be readily incorporated in the story the internal reality tells, while completely ignoring or simply failing to notice anything that doesn’t naturally lend itself or acts to contradict our story.

 
The imagination is the faculty of the mind that structures a dynamic matrix out of accumulated memory, forming a mental paradigm through the creation and synthesis of the memories it’s comprised of, that transforms the outer to match the inner. The structure of the mind, as its vibratory frequency (corresponding series of interwoven patterns) literally reshapes the outer, objective and neutral reality, to be the same through how it’s interpreted to tell the same story that the paradigm is designed (structured) to tell. We first create our experiences out of our paradigm based on synthesizing accumulated memory, forming them into a new memory of the same kind of story, keeping ourselves programmed to the same type of memory as a life theme.

 

Memory is created in the imagination out of an actual event that we reshape, personalizing it, by giving it meaning. The meaning we give it forms the story we tell about it, which simultaneously means the same thing about us, about others, and about the way the world is in general. It defines us, the nature of our relationships, and the perceived conditions we live in. This accumulated memory forms a theme that tells a certain type of story. This thematic story becomes our perceptual filter that only creates more of the same type of experiences over and over, by how we think, what we’re always in the process of telling ourselves, and what we see or don’t see in the world around us. We begin interpreting everything by way of this theme, and then we identify with our own stories which simultaneously shape our identity. After a while, if we’re not telling (living) the same type of story, we don’t know who we are, or how to tell a different story. And so we live out of the same story as a mental projection most, if not all of our life, without ever realizing it’s our “own creation”, formed and kept alive through our imagination. Replayed and imprinted in our mind-field (Astral) that surrounds our body, like a reflection on glass that we look through to form our perception.

 
This is the most basic meaning of karma. We live out of the same type of memories as a storyline that creates us according to the identity required to “live” that story as the author of it and main character in it, that forms our perceptual lens as our paradigm that determines what we see, how we feel, and what story we act naturally to tell. We continue creating out of the same basic type of memory, forming the same realities, relationships, and interactive dynamics because we don’t realize that we’re actually the one creating it, and also, the only one who has the power to change it.

 

We can form purely creative ideas in our imagination that replicate actual memory. Because memory is created and replayed in the imagination and used to create our experiences, by imagining ideas with full sensory enhancement and feeling, we can provide our own mind with new ideas and patterns that will transform and evolve our perceptual lens to be able to tell new kinds of stories. In doing this, we simultaneously evolve our identity to new and higher forms of experience. We can keep ourselves in a constant state of growth rather than settling into a mundane and methodical existence where we live out of the same mind-set for a lifetime, missing the opportunity to create ourselves anew in every moment by learning to operate our own mind and exercising our creative abilities in the most primal sense . . . . by self-creating through our ability to produce virtual memories!

Becoming Self-Aware: Spiritual Guidance is a Form of Hypnotic Suggestion

By learning the principles of the mind involved in programming ourselves for certain types of experiences or as a form of ongoing storytelling that follows distinct themes, we can simultaneously realize that we exist in a primary state of hypnotic trance that connects us to multiple dimensions as inner and outer (parallel) and upper and lower (hierarchy). Through our self-conscious “thinking” mind, our subconscious “emotional-experiential” mind, and our higher “idea oriented” mind, when unified form holistic patterns that contain the full content of a living reality as a spontaneous unfolding that comes as a chain-of-association, where the subconscious exists as the passive and receptive medium between the other two aspects of the mind, where thoughts and ideas are readily taken in without editing or resistance and constructed into full imaginary realities.

 
What ties the upper plane to the lower is the subconscious which accepts patterns as programming from the upper plane and develops them into a form of memory as an actual (imagined) reality. Likewise, the conscious mind which is the offspring of the subconscious mind and exists (lives and dies) fully within the physical plane, also has the ability to program the subconscious mind through “thoughts” that become the basis for imagined realities that create virtual memories as templates for producing outer experiences of the same nature. The problem is it often doesn’t realize that it has this power, and so its thoughts are usually controlled instead by the subconscious mind through emotional states, and replaces what has the potential to be “original thoughts” with thoughts that are based on a series of associated memories. So while the conscious mind has the ability to create by forming original thoughts that it gives to the subconscious to create new experiences out of, instead, it tends to spend its creative ability thinking about the past and creating variations of the same type of experiences.

 
The self-conscious mind, which is the “local” mind identified with the body, birthed within this life and the conditions and circumstances of the body, is primarily held to the laws of the physical realm, and so tends to be logical, rational, and analytical, while lacking intuition. The conscious mind is also time bound (located) and spends most of its time distracted “in time” as thinking about the past, reliving memories over and over by bringing them into the present, or using the past to try and anticipate the future. The conscious mind is hardly ever present and therefore dwells in the imaginary realities of its own making that it uses in place of actual reality as a form of illusion or dreamlike state that forms a veil that conceals the true nature inherent in the “present” reality as objective, neutral, and non-personal. The conscious mind is the story-teller that reshapes objective reality into subjective experiences out of conceptualized representations that it then mistake’s for objective reality. It’s so caught up in the illusions build out of of its own memories, that it lives most of its life in a primarily unconscious, unaware, and delusional state. A true paradox, resolved only through awareness that brings self-realization of what we’re actually doing.

Even though the subconscious mind works out of memory, it exists outside of time, is always present, and perceives objective outer reality through actual emotions and sensations as a basic form of sympathetic resonance. It’s always interacting with other conscious energy in its environment, and though its programmed by memory to produce automatic behavior and regulate bodily processes in response to the information its constantly receiving from its environment, it doesn’t make up stories or think verbal, language oriented thoughts that serve to mask reality, and is always experiencing things as they actually are, instead of by way of a personalized perception (judgment) that distorts fact by telling a story about it that makes it mean something that transform it into a personal creation.

 
The subconscious is therefore never the “creator” of memory that distorts outer reality, but is “one with” the outer reality and sensing it as it really is. The subconscious forms memory out of “actual” experiences that are then utilized for practical use by recalling them in the imagination giving it a response pattern as an instant perception that produces automatic behaviors as the most appropriate response (instinct). The subconscious doesn’t know the difference between a memory created from an actual experience, and one created by imagining an experience that elicits a strong sensory-emotional response. This is because actual memory is recalled in the imagination as a means of “playing or reading” it, just as an imagined experience is played in the imagination as an actual scenario or living reality.

Likewise, just as the conscious mind can give the subconscious a thought that it will turn into a reality as an imagined experience that converts it from a series of words into the native tongue of the subconscious as an archetype or holistic pattern that’s a universal memory, which can be introduced into the subconscious as a way of giving it a prime directive that it’ll convert into a memory which is recalled in the imagination and becomes the basis for producing a corresponding outer reality as a personal experience of that idea. The subconscious, which doesn’t think in terms of “stories” as reliving memory, and doesn’t “make up” the memory out of it’s own conditioning that it then uses to produce physical realities and regulate biological processes designed to maintain equilibrium between the inner and the outer, and the upper and the lower, is the “medium” which “receives information” as ideas and patterns, from either the conscious-thinking mind, or the higher-feeling mind as vibration that shapes light into realities by imagining them, is being programmed from outside its present state and readily produces the physical equivalent of the thoughts and ideas its given.

 
When directives come from the conscious mind as thoughts attached to intense emotions, born out of recycled memories from the past, they are often fragmented, sporadic, and incoherent. They lack consistency because they’re not based on the actual conditions and circumstances of the present, but an illusion that’s replacing them that are no longer real or alive except in the imagination. When ideas come from the higher plane of our spiritual parent, they are holistic, have all the components for producing a harmonious reality and are directly connected to larger patterns currently being played out on a greater scale as a cohesive orchestration that brings about synchronistic connections and opportunities necessary to fulfill them, creating a new pattern as a natural form of evolution. By creating experiences that grow and expand us into new experiences, we create new memories of those experiences that program and upgrade our existing mental paradigm to produce more of the same type of experiences as an outgrowth.

Spiritual guidance, working by way of natural laws that govern the mind, work through the induction of ideas as feelings that produce strong emotional imagery as dream-like, virtual realities that act as “memory” for the subconscious, which connects to that same idea in the external environment through resonance, and directs (influences) the conscious mind which forms thoughts of the same idea, creating a unified affect. When the three minds are resonating to the same vibratory pattern for creating reality in a harmonious and coherent manner, a quickening takes place, and things can come by what feels like magical means. Things come as a spontaneous series of synchronistic coincidences that systematically unfold into a whole new experience, which comes easily because there’s no resistance counteracting it.

 
But what usually happens instead, because most people don’t understand the different aspects of their own mind or maintain an awareness of how they operate to produce their own life experiences, is spirit communicates thru feelings and mental impressions, that the conscious mind either ignores completely because it’s too caught up in its own illusion, or it resists by doubting it, arguing with it, or attempting to change it so it can keep telling the same story. If it doesn’t “fit into” our story, we change it so it does, distorting it. The subconscious mind is then caught in the conflict, one canceling out or contradicting the other, and so whatever one is more persistent or intense, wins out. Because the higher mind is not “of” the material plane and is “subtle” in nature and comes as intuitive notions or impressions around things, the conscious mind as the voice in our head usually wins out because its active on the material plane and is bound by the identity of its own creation, that determines what it can naturally align with and what it can’t. In order to tell a new story to create a new experience of ourselves requires surrender and self-sacrifice by the self-conscious mind of the identity and ego, which usually chooses to argue instead, and passionately defends its story while justifying its right to keep it. This self-made identity becomes the ego as the “false self” which creates itself purely by way of the physical realm and the story it tells itself about who it is and why.

 
The self-conscious mind, through self-realization and awareness, also has the ability to forfeit its illusion in favor of a new story that will evolve and grow it into new realities that offer brand new experiences that will transform and evolve the identity to a higher and new form of expression. But in order to accept the guidance of the Higher-self, we have to realize our story is a mere fabrication as a story we began telling ourselves in an attempt to make sense of things by making them “mean something”, that we then ultimately used as the basis for conditioning ourselves to that story. By giving up our story, we come face-to-face with our identity, and we realize that we don’t know how to tell another story. In opening ourselves to tell a new type of story we have to expose ourselves to being vulnerable and trusting that we’ll know what to do in a brand new situation, and embrace our creativity with a kind of enthusiastic anticipation of the possibilities.

By embracing and standing in our creativity, while fully sensing the insecurity it brings as a lack of “knowing” and reassurance that everything’s going to be alright, and stepping wide-eyed into the unknown filled with a sense of anticipation, and a deep seated fear we struggle frantically to manage by containing it, we can return ourselves from a stationary redundant position of habitual routines, to one of fresh newness and intense stimulation, that courageously encounters and resolve our fears, and as a result evolving us into more and more expansive forms of growth that force us from our prison of fear by willfully transforming our limited beliefs. It’s our beliefs about ourselves that confine us to a mundane existence of struggling and suffering to desperately maintain boredom out of fear of change. Change brings growth and stimulates new qualities in us that transform us from the outside-in, and from the inside-out. The Spirit, which is pure potential as consciousness that shapes reality (astral light) out of ideas (vibratory patterns), exists in a fundamental state of creativity as an evolutionary flow that moves spontaneously from one idea into another. No resistance or containing, simply a joyful expansion into new parts of itself that it comes to know for the first time in a fleeting moment of unfolding and enfolding.

 
Spirit is always urging us to continue growing and expanding by returning our story to an evolving state of continuous growth and development. When we get stuck in redundant patterns and refuse to willingly move out of them through fear of not knowing who we are or if we’ll be okay, spirit is always gently prompting us to resolve patterns and reform into new ones. We often receive (are aware of) guidance at certain points, but are unwilling to utilize it or cling to the need to know how it will turn out before we’re willing to try, encountering first hand the very fears that limit us to those patterns that we consistently back-down to, each time, dying a little more, securing our prison wall formed of imaginary fears that only exist because of the power we give them in determining us. After denouncing creative ideas and refusing to act on them as the pathway to our destiny, we shut down communication, and resort to praying only in moments of desperation or mental anguish, and because we have become indifferent to the messages we receive as the answers that will require us to act powerfully in our own lives, we feel “no messages” are coming through, experience a form of disconnect, then imagine we’ve been abandoned by God. Usually, without ever realizing that it was us that first abandoned God and ourselves, all in the same act of choosing to ignore all the answers we don’t like, or that seem to difficult, and then resort to asking the same questions over and over, until we get an answer we want.

Guidance, both from above and self-directed, serve to program the subconscious by giving it a pattern as a potential reality to create out of that produces our life story and how we experience the events of our life. When our Higher Consciousness introduces a suggestion as a seeded reality into the subconscious, that’s realized by the self-conscious mind, which chooses to align itself to the idea of the Higher Will, forming a cohesive harmony by using it to tell new stories about things, wrapping our identity around it, dreams come true, life appears magical, and things naturally come about of their own volition. When we receive an idea that we feel is “in us”, engrained in us as a kind of imprint, the only thing that prevents it from coming to be, or makes it seem impossible or a struggle to do, is our own resistance to it. Our resistance comes by what we tell ourselves “about” it, about what it’ll mean, or about why we can’t do it, or because it conflicts with other areas of our life that we’d have to give up in order to move forward into it, and so on. By simply examining your own thoughts around an idea, you can see how or in what way you lack congruence and act in a roundabout way to counteract or sabotage the idea, and miss the opportunity to use it as a life-creation tool that its designed for.

 

 

All guidance is a form of self-guidance (Higher self), and all problems with utilizing our own guidance for ourselves is the struggle that takes place internally in response to our own thoughts being delivered from different perspectives. The Higher Self sees and is always working with the “big picture” and overall patterns that involve long-term outcomes produced by strategic intervention that benefit everyone involved; the subconscious mind is in the present moment and seeks only self-preservation; and the self-conscious mind is looking at the future from the perspective of the past and can only see what matches it, and is unwilling to consider anything that’s outside of its present scope and identity, and fears the idea of growth as having to encounter the unknown, requiring trust, faith, and believing that where you’re being led is where you really need to go and is what will provide you with the lessons you need to systematically overcome your perceived limitations as fear, insecurity, and uncertainty, and instead embrace your true potential as internal qualities still waiting to be born and actualized by way of the proper stimulation that only comes through real life events. The conscious mind sees itself “as” the body (ego), and changing its identity is perceived as a form a death. Spirit is always acting to facilitate our growth by overcoming our imagined limitations and habituated patterns of perception. It’s always urging us to break free from our own illusions that act to imprison us in a mundane reality of overwhelming self-imposed limitations born out of forgetting “who” we actually are. It urges us to step into a fearless state of self-propelled evolution, and create ourselves anew in every moment by tuning into the intuitive impressions constantly whispering to us, and merging with them becoming the means through which they express and using them to recreate ourselves by way of them.
